channelnewsasia updates in small type-The Disaster Victim Identification Police Department Republic of Indonesia (DVI POLRI) today announced the identification of five passengers as: Ernawati (female),(84) Gusti Made Bobi Sidartha (male),(85) Boby Hartanto Winata (male),(86) Indah Diani (female),(87) and Kevin Biantoro (male).(88) In addition, DVI POLRI team also received additional remains that were recovered in Pinrang, South Sulawesi last night (15/02) at Bhayangkara Hospital, Surabaya this evening.To date, 91 passengers have been identified, 10 remains are still being identified at Bhayangkara Hospital, Surabaya.We can confirm the identification of the British victim of AirAsia flight QZ8501, Choi Chi Man.(89) Our thoughts are with his family and we continue to provide them with support at this difficult time," the agency was quoted as saying in a BBC report dated Feb 14.News of Choi's identification was also carried in a separate ANTARA News article dated Feb 11. Head of East Java Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team Budiyono confirmed the identification of two British nationals - Choi and Natalina Wuntarjo (90) - as well as Anna Widyawati (91) from Surabaya.

Meanwhile, SAR operation in Makassar Strait is still underway with SAR personnel deployed to observe the shoreline of West and South Sulawesi. SINGAPORE: British national Choi Chi Man, who was on board the ill-fated AirAsia QZ8501 flight that crashed on Dec 28, has been identified by the Indonesian authorities, according to a statement issued by the United Kingdom's Foreign and Commonwealth Office."We can confirm the identification of the British victim of AirAsia flight QZ8501, Choi Chi Man. Our thoughts are with his family and we continue to provide them with support at this difficult time," the agency was quoted as saying in a BBC report dated Feb 14.News of Choi's identification was also carried in a separate ANTARA News article dated Feb 11. Head of East Java Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team Budiyono confirmed the identification of two British nationals - Choi and Natalina Wuntarjo - as well as Anna Widyawati from Surabaya.Choi was identified using primary data such as dental records, while secondary data, including height, age, sex and private belongings such as ID and credit cards, also aided the process, according to ANTARA.Hull-born Choi, 48, was the managing director at an energy company.
