THIRD ANGEL: EUROPE
Then one of the angels with wings showed me Europe from one end to the other - from the north all the way down to Spain and Portugal. In his hand he had a scale of measurement. I saw him fly over Europe, and I heard the words: "I am grieved. I am grieved. Unrighteousness, uncleanness, ungodliness - all over Europe. The sin has risen to heaven. The Holy Spirit is grieved."I saw the rivers of Europe flooding and covering millions of houses. Millions drown. After seeing this, I read the news a few weeks ago: Czechoslovakia had the worst flooding ever. I also heard that the big river in China is in tremendous danger of thousands of houses being destroyed in flooding. I didn't know all this news until after I had seen the vision and heard what the angels told me.Suddenly I heard earthquakes all over Europe."Countries that have had no earthquakes shall be shaken," said the angel. And suddenly, in my spirit, I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris crumbling and falling down. A great part of Germany destroyed. The great city of London - destruction everywhere. I saw floods all over Scandinavia. I looked to the south and saw Spain and Portugal passing through hunger and great destruction. Many will die from hunger all over Spain and Portugal. I was disturbed by all this news, and I said:" Lord, what about your children?"The angel said: "I shall prepare them. They shall be looking for the appearing of the Lord. Many will cry to me in those days and I will save them. I shall perform mighty miracles for them and show them My power."So in the midst of great destruction, there will be the grace of God in those countries. I was happy that God has His protection over His children.

Wildfire Map Spotlight: Northwestern Ontario wildfires, Canada Jul 15, 2026-by IQAir Staff Writers

What are the name and location of the wildfires?
As of July 15, 2026, multiple wildfires continue to burn across northwestern Ontario, Canada, threatening communities and producing widespread smoke.More than 100 active wildfires are burning across the region, with numerous fires remaining out of control due to extreme heat, dry conditions, and strong winds (1).The fires are burning across districts including Nipigon, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Dryden, Fort Frances, and areas along the Ontario-Minnesota border. Significant wildfire activity is also occurring near Wabakimi Provincial Park, Quetico Provincial Park, Lake Nipigon, Lac la Croix, Armstrong, Whitesand First Nation, and several remote Indigenous communities.Several fires have expanded rapidly over recent days, with some merging into larger complexes while others have crossed the international border from Minnesota into Ontario. Provincial firefighting resources continue to focus on protecting communities, critical infrastructure, and transportation corridors as additional crews arrive to assist with suppression efforts (2).Which cities or areas are affected by the wildfires? The cities and areas affected by the Northwestern Ontario wildfires include:Armstrong,Collins First Nation (Namaygoosisagagun First Nation),Cushing Lake,Gakijiwanong Anishinaabe Nation (Lac La Croix First Nation),Gull Bay First Nation (Kiashke Zaaging Anishinaabek),Ignace,Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation,McDowell Lake area,Pickle Lake,Quetico Provincial Park,Thunder Bay (evacuation hub), Upsala,Wabakimi Provincial Park,Whitesand First Nation, Smoke from the Northwestern Ontario wildfires is affecting air quality across parts of Canada and the northeastern United States. The cities and areas affected by wildfire smoke include:Alma, Quebec, Boston, Massachusetts,Duluth, Minnesota, Grand Marais, Minnesota, Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Hancock, Michigan, Kingston, Ontario, Marquette, Michigan,Montreal, Quebec, Owen Sound, Ontario, Peterborough, Ontario, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Springfield, Massachusetts, Toronto, Ontario. As of July 15, 8:00 AM (local time) Toronto ranked as the 2nd most polluted major city in the world.Toronto, Canada ranked as the 2nd most polluted major city on July 15, 2026, 8:00 AM (local time). Source: IQAir.Smoke is contributing to poor air quality across much of southern Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area, while a shifting weather pattern is expected to transport dense smoke into parts of Quebec, the Great Lakes, and the northeastern United States. Areas beneath the thickest smoke plume may experience unhealthy air quality, reduced visibility, and increased health risks, particularly for sensitive groups (3).What is the current containment status of the wildfires? As of July 15, 2026, wildfire activity across northwestern Ontario continues to intensify, with the Ministry of Natural Resources reporting approximately 148 active wildfires across the region. Of these, 69 are classified as not under control, while only a small number are being held or fully controlled (4).The outbreak consists of multiple individual fires rather than a single wildfire, so containment varies by incident. Several large fires continue to expand near Armstrong, Whitesand First Nation, Gakijiwanong Anishinaabe Nation (Lac La Croix First Nation), Quetico Provincial Park, Wabakimi Provincial Park, the Upsala area, and along the Ontario-Minnesota border. One of the largest active fires is Red Lake 24 (RED024), which has burned approximately 3,079 hectares and remains not under control. Other significant fires include Nipigon 45/46, which has merged into a single fire covering about 1,200 hectares, and Nipigon 50, which has reached approximately 730 hectares while remaining uncontrolled (5).Fire crews, aircraft, and additional firefighters from outside the region continue suppression efforts under extremely hot, dry, and windy conditions. Authorities remain focused on protecting communities, infrastructure, and transportation routes while awaiting forecast rainfall expected later in the week. Are there any evacuation orders or alerts in place? Mandatory evacuation orders remain in effect for multiple communities threatened by advancing wildfires. Residents of Armstrong, Whitesand First Nation, Namaygoosisagagun First Nation (Collins First Nation), Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation, Gakijiwanong Anishinaabe Nation (Lac La Croix First Nation), and Gull Bay First Nation have been instructed to leave immediately as fires continue to threaten homes and infrastructure (6).Many evacuees have been relocated to Thunder Bay, while others are being transported to Toronto because accommodations in Thunder Bay have become limited. Emergency officials have also advised residents in Ignace, Crystal Lake, the Highway 633 area, Pickle Lake, Upsala, and portions of the Rainy River District to prepare for possible evacuations should fire conditions worsen.Several highway closures and travel restrictions remain in place across northwestern Ontario, including sections of Highway 527 and Highway 599, while Wabakimi Provincial Park has been temporarily closed because of extreme wildfire conditions.Environment Canada has also issued widespread air quality warnings across southern Ontario as dense wildfire smoke spreads through the province, with residents advised to limit outdoor activities and follow guidance from local authorities (7).Protect yourself from wildfire smoke-See how a wildfire smoke air purifier can help clean your air.How can I protect myself from wildfire smoke? Always plan ahead to protect yourself from wildfire smoke.Get a free air quality app for real-time air quality alerts and forecasts.Shut doors and windows and set the HVAC to recirculate mode.Run a high-performance air purifier to filter wildfire smoke.Contribute to your community’s outdoor air quality data.Stay indoors; if you do need to go outdoors, wear a KN95/FFP2 mask.

Hundreds of Canada wildfires prompt US air quality alerts as smoke spreads south-4 hours ago-Chris Fawkes,BBC Weather,Rachel Flynnand-Nadine Yousif,Senior Canada reporter, Toronto

More than 800 wildfires are burning across Canada, with air quality alerts now extending south into multiple US states. The air quality in large parts of the northern states of Michigan and Minnesota is deemed "hazardous" by the US Air Quality Index program, with people recommended to stay indoors.Alerts span the Upper Midwest, the Great Lakes region and into the northeast, the US national weather service (NOAA) said in an update on Thursday. In Canada, one fire in northern Ontario forced residents from local First Nations to evacuate, with one chief saying that her community has been "burnt to ashes".There are currently 858 fires actively burning in Canada, including 30 new fires on Thursday, according to the Canadian Wildland Fire Information System. The vast majority are burning out of control. The large cluster of fires affecting northwestern areas of Ontario are responsible for sending thick plumes of smoke and poor air quality across Thunder Bay and Toronto, with lower concentrations of smoke high in the atmosphere drifting over the Great Lakes and above New York with hazy skies and redder sunrise and sunsets likely. In western regions of New York state, the air quality on Thursday is considered "very unhealthy", while in the New York City metro area the air quality is "unhealthy".New York has extended its heat emergency plans and activated its air quality emergency protocols - with hundreds of cooling centers and KN95 masks being made available citywide. How bad are Canadian and US wildfires, and what is the air quality risk? In Ontario, there will be quite widespread thunderstorms over the next few days, but the rain may not be enough to make much of a difference.Northwesterly winds will continue to blow the smoke into northern US states for the rest of this week and into the weekend, leading to concerns smoke will drift into New Jersey where Sunday's World Cup final is due to take place.A change in the wind direction by Monday means that the smoke will tend to be steered across Quebec with an improvement in air quality further south in the US.-Air quality in Chicago has hit "hazardous" levels-Air quality in the Midwestern city of Detroit is currently the worst in the world, Swiss air quality tracker IQAir said, followed by Minneapolis, Chicago and Toronto.Republican lawmakers in the state of Michigan have penned an open letter to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney asking for better management of the country's wildfires, expressing frustration for a third year in a row."A year has passed, the season has come around again, and nothing has changed except that our patience has run out," said the letter, signed by four state House representatives .Pete Hoekstra, the US ambassador to Canada, struck a more diplomatic tone in a statement on Wednesday commending wildfire fighting efforts from both countries.Wildfires are a part of the natural life cycle of Canada's vast boreal forest, but they have become more frequent since 2015, said Laura Chasmer, a professor of geography and the environment at the University of Western Ontario."This is associated with some of the extreme climate warming that we've been seeing, and the atmospheric drying of the surface," she said.Fires in the past burned more frequently in western Canada, but recent years have seen that trend migrate eastward, with large fires now burning in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic provinces, Prof Chasmer said, leading to more noticeable smoke in densely populated cities like Toronto and New York. She added that this has strained firefighting efforts in Canada, whose primary focus is to ensure the flames don't spread to nearby towns. Putting out the fires completely is "very difficult", Prof Chasmer noted, due to their scope and intensity.Responding to the criticism from US lawmakers, Carney said on Thursday that both countries have a responsibility to fight climate change. He added his government is "in close communication" with provinces and local communities.Map of active wildfires across Canada and the northern US. Red dots mark fires detected in the past 24 hours and pink dots show detections from the past seven days. The largest concentration is in northwestern Ontario, highlighted in an inset box, with additional clusters across western and central Canada. Toronto and New York are labelled for reference.Meanwhile, Ontario Premier Doug Ford dismissed criticism of his government's handling of the fires, noting that over 150 fire crews are on the ground battling the blaze."We will spend whatever it takes," Ford said.In addition to the hazardous smoke, the wildfires in northern Ontario have forced dozens from local First Nations communities to evacuate, with videos showing some fleeing the remote area by boat.Namaygoosisagagun First Nation Chief Helen Paavola told local news outlet CityNews in an interview that an aerial flyover showed that her community has been "burnt to ashes"."All the homes are gone," she said on Thursday. "There's nothing left."

Wildfire smoke persists in Toronto, conditions may improve Friday: Environment Canada-By Aaron D'Andrea Global News-Posted July 16, 2026 8:18 am

Wildfire smoke still blankets large parts of southern Ontario, including Toronto, and conditions may not improve until Friday morning.Environment Canada’s orange air quality warning continues to be in place Thursday, a day after it was first implemented for the smoke that turned the skies in Canada’s largest city orange. The smoke from the wildfires in northwestern Ontario plummeted Toronto’s air quality to the worst in the world throughout Wednesday morning. Only Detroit was ahead of Toronto early Thursday morning according to IQAir, a Swiss air quality technology company that operates the world’s largest real-time air quality information platform. At one point Thursday morning, IQAir described Toronto’s air quality as “hazardous.” Environment is forecast improved conditions on Friday, with the smoke beginning to disperse around midnight. The smoke forced the cancellation of several outdoor events Wednesday, including the FIFA Fan Festival watch party in Toronto and the Rock the Park music festival in London. There were 136 active wildfires in the northwest region as of 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to data from the Ontario government. Of the fires, 63 are considered to be out of control. The fires have prompted evacuation orders for several communities, including Armstrong, Lac La Croix First Nation, Whitesand First Nation, Gull Bay First Nation and Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation. One fast-moving blaze has damaged and destroyed homes and buildings on Namaygoosisagagun First Nation, also known as Collins First Nation, north of Thunder Bay.Environment Canada is advising Canadians to limit time outdoors and prioritize keeping cool inside.“You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance,” Environment Canada said.“People more likely to be impacted by wildfire smoke, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should avoid strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.”The air quality warning follows a heat warning that lifted Wednesday after it was put in place Monday.Maximum temperatures of 30 to 36 C were expected Wednesday, with humidex values making that feel like 38 to 42 C.Tuesday was the worst day during the heat wave as humidex values made it feel like 38 to 45 C in parts of southern Ontario.— with files from The Canadian Press.
