26
Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and
the light of the sun shall be sevenfold,(7X OR 7-DEGREES HOTTER) as the
light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of
his people,(ISRAEL) and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold,
the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the
burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his
tongue as a devouring fire:
MATTHEW 24:21-22,29
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

REVELATION 16:7-9
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God,
which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him
glory.
EZEKIEL 32:6-9
6 I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
7
And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the

shall not give her light.
8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
9
I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy
destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not
known.
REVELATION 16:3-7
3 And the second angel poured out his

THIRD ANGEL: EUROPE
Then
one of the angels with wings showed me Europe from one end to the other
- from the north all the way down to Spain and Portugal. In his hand he
had a scale of measurement. I saw him fly over Europe, and I heard the
words: "I am grieved. I am grieved. Unrighteousness, uncleanness,
ungodliness - all over Europe. The sin has risen to heaven. The Holy
Spirit is grieved."I saw the rivers of Europe flooding and covering
millions of houses. Millions drown. After seeing this, I read the news a
few weeks ago: Czechoslovakia had the worst flooding ever. I also heard
that the big river in China is in tremendous danger of thousands of
houses being destroyed in flooding. I didn't know all this news until
after I had seen the vision and heard what the angels told me.Suddenly I
heard earthquakes all over Europe."Countries that have had no
earthquakes shall be shaken," said the angel. And suddenly, in my spirit,
I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris crumbling and falling down. A great
part of Germany destroyed. The great city of London - destruction
everywhere. I saw floods all over Scandinavia. I looked to the south and
saw Spain and Portugal passing through hunger and great
destruction. Many will die from hunger all over Spain and Portugal. I was
disturbed by all this news, and I said:" Lord, what about your
children?"The angel said: "I shall prepare them. They shall be looking
for the appearing of the Lord. Many will cry to me in those days and I
will save them. I shall perform mighty miracles for them and show them
My power."So in the midst of great destruction, there will be the grace
of God in those countries. I was happy that God has His protection over
His children.

What
time will the solar eclipse be visible in my city in Spain on 12
August? Skiers enjoy the views from the Appalachian Trail at the summit
of Saddleback Mountain on 8 April 2024, near Rangeley, Maine.By
Christina Thykjaer-Published on 12/08/2026 - 16:00 GMT+2•Updated 16:06
The
total solar eclipse will cross Spain this Wednesday at sunset, peaking
around 8.30 pm. See when it will be visible in each city, where it is
total, and its peak in Madrid and Barcelona. On Wednesday 12 August,
Spain has a date with the sky. The total solar eclipse will sweep across
much of the country in the final hours of the afternoon and millions of
people will be able to witness one of the most eagerly awaited
astronomical events of recent years. But there is a key question before
heading out to find a spot to watch it: what time will the eclipse be
visible in my city? There is no single answer for the whole of Spain.
The Moon’s shadow will move from west to east and the moment of maximum
darkness will vary slightly depending on the location. In general terms,
the most eagerly awaited moment will come at around 20:30, although in
some cities it will occur a few minutes earlier and in others a little
later. What is more, not all of Spain will see a total eclipse. The path
of totality will cross parts of the north and east of the peninsula
before reaching the Balearic Islands. Outside that path, the eclipse
will be partial, although in many places the Sun will be almost
completely covered. What time will the eclipse be in each city? These are
the approximate times of the totality phase in the main Spanish
provincial capitals that lie within the path of the lunar shadow:
La Coruña: from 20:27 to 20:28. Totality will last for approximately 1 minute and 18 seconds.
Oviedo: between 20:27 and 20:28, with close to 1 minute and 48 seconds of totality.
Santander: between 20:26 and 20:28. Total darkness will last for around 1 minute and 2 seconds.
Bilbao: at around 20:27, although totality will be much shorter, at about 27 seconds.
Vitoria-Gasteiz: between 20:27 and 20:28, lasting for roughly 1 minute.
Lugo: between 20:28 and 20:29, with 1 minute and 25 seconds of totality.
León: between 20:28 and 20:30. Totality will last for around 1 minute and 45 seconds.
Burgos: between 20:28 and 20:30, lasting for approximately 1 minute and 43 seconds.
Logroño: between 20:28 and 20:29, with around 1 minute and 19 seconds of totality.
Palencia: between 20:29 and 20:30, lasting for approximately 1 minute and 42 seconds.
Soria: between 20:29 and 20:30, with 1 minute and 41 seconds of totality.
Zaragoza: between 20:29 and 20:30, lasting for approximately 1 minute and 23 seconds.
Lérida: at around 20:29, with a totality of barely 24 seconds.
Tarragona: between 20:29 and 20:30, lasting for about 58 seconds.
Zamora: between 20:30 and 20:31, with around 24 seconds of totality.
Segovia: between 20:31 and 20:32. Totality will last for approximately one minute.
Guadalajara: between 20:31 and 20:32, lasting for approximately 1 minute and 8 seconds.
Teruel: between 20:31 and 20:32, with around 1 minute and 35 seconds of totality.
Castellón: between 20:31 and 20:32, lasting for approximately 1 minute and 34 seconds.
Palma de Mallorca: between 20:31 and 20:32, with around 1 minute and 36 seconds of totality.
Cuenca: between 20:32 and 20:33, lasting for about 57 seconds.
Valencia:
between 20:32 and 20:33, with approximately one minute of totality. What
time will the eclipse be in Madrid and Barcelona? Two of Spain’s most
populous cities will lie outside the main path of totality. In Madrid,
the eclipse will be partial and will reach its maximum at around 20:32.
The situation is particularly unusual because the edge of the path of
totality passes very close to the capital and reaches parts of the
municipal area close to Barajas. In Barcelona, totality will also not
occur. The moment of maximum obscuration of the Sun will be at
approximately 20:29.That does not mean the phenomenon will go unnoticed.
From both cities it will be possible to observe a very deep partial
eclipse, although there will be no brief spell of darkness such as that
experienced in towns and cities lying within the path of totality. The
time differences between cities are due to the path of the Moon’s
shadow. The area of total darkness will enter from the west and cross
Spain on its way towards the Balearic Islands. That is why, while in
places such as Santander, Oviedo or La Coruña the decisive moment will
come at around 20:27, in locations further east such as Valencia,
Castellón or Palma it will occur several minutes later. All this will
happen with the Sun very close to the horizon. The eclipse will coincide
with sunset, a circumstance that will make it especially important to
choose a place with a clear view to the west, without buildings,
mountains or trees blocking the Sun in those crucial minutes. An eclipse
that will be visible across Spain-Those outside the path of totality
will also be able to follow the event. The eclipse will be visible, at
least partially, from all Spanish territory, including the Canary
Islands. The big difference will lie in those seconds when the Moon
completely covers the solar disc. Within the path of totality, the sky
will darken rapidly and it will be possible to observe the solar corona
for a brief interval.Outside that path, a small part of the Sun will
remain visible even at maximum eclipse, so the sky will never take on
the characteristic appearance of a total eclipse. And one final warning
will be essential, regardless of the city from which it is observed: you
must not look directly at the Sun without certified protective
equipment during the partial phases of the eclipse. Ordinary sunglasses
are not suitable for observing the event safely. This text was translated

About the Meteor Shower-The Perseids, which peaks
in mid-August, is considered the best meteor shower of the year. With
swift and bright meteors, Perseids frequently leave long "wakes" of
light and color behind them as they streak through Earth's atmosphere.
The Perseids are one of the most plentiful showers with about 50 to 100
meteors seen per hour. They occur with warm summer nighttime weather
allowing sky watchers to comfortably view them.Perseids are also known
for their fireballs. Fireballs are larger explosions of light and color
that can persist longer than an average meteor streak. This is due to
the fact that fireballs originate from larger particles of cometary
material. Fireballs are also brighter, with apparent magnitudes greater
than -3.Viewing Tips-The Perseids are best viewed in the Northern
Hemisphere during the pre-dawn hours, though at times it is possible to
view meteors from this shower as early as 10 p.m.Where Do Meteors Come
From? Meteors come from leftover comet particles and bits from broken
asteroids. When comets come around the Sun, they leave a dusty trail
behind them. Every year Earth passes through these debris trails, which
allows the bits to collide with our atmosphere and disintegrate to
create fiery and colorful streaks in the sky.The Comet-The pieces of
space debris that interact with our atmosphere to create the Perseids
originate from comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle. Swift-Tuttle takes 133 years to
orbit the Sun once. It was Giovanni Schiaparelli who realized in 1865
that this comet was the source of the Perseids. Comet Swift-Tuttle last
visited the inner solar system in 1992.Comet Swift-Tuttle was discovered
in 1862 by Lewis Swift and Horace Tuttle. Swift-Tuttle is a large
comet: its nucleus is 16 miles (26 kilometers) across. (This is almost
twice the size of the object hypothesized to have led to the demise of
the dinosaurs.)The Radiant-Their radiant – the point in the sky from
which the Perseids appear to come – is the constellation Perseus. This
is also where we get the name for the shower: Perseids. However, the
constellation for which a meteor shower is named only serves to aid
viewers in determining which shower they are viewing on a given night.
The constellation is not the source of the meteors.
A solar eclipse and the Perseid meteor shower arrive on the same day-Date:August 5, 2026-Source:NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Summary:
August
brings four major celestial events, including a solar eclipse and the
peak of the Perseid meteor shower. Dark New Moon skies could make the
Perseids especially impressive, while Venus will blaze in the west after
sunset. A deep partial lunar eclipse closes the month, darkening most
of the Moon.
A solar eclipse, the Perseid meteor shower, brilliant
Venus, and a deep partial lunar eclipse will make August an unusually
eventful month for skywatchers.
August Skywatching Highlights
Aug. 5: Last Quarter Moon
Aug.
12: A total solar eclipse crosses northern Russia, Greenland, Iceland,
northern Spain, and part of Portugal. A partial eclipse will be visible
from parts of the United States. The New Moon also occurs on this date.
Aug. 12 and 13: The Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak under exceptionally dark skies.
Aug. 14 through 16: Venus reaches its greatest eastern elongation and glows low in the western sky after sunset.
Aug.
27 and 28: A partial lunar eclipse will be visible across much of North
and South America, along with parts of Europe and Africa.
A solar
eclipse, one of the year's most popular meteor showers, a dazzling
evening appearance by Venus, and a lunar eclipse will fill August with
memorable celestial events.
That's "What's Up" for August.On Aug. 12,
the path of a total solar eclipse will sweep across northern Russia,
Greenland, Iceland, and northern Spain. A small section of Portugal will
also fall within the path of totality.Observers in parts of the United
States, stretching from Alaska to North Carolina, will see a partial
eclipse instead. From these locations, the Moon will cover only a small
portion of the Sun, with the amount of coverage depending on where the
observer is located. How to Watch the Solar Eclipse Safely-Proper eye
protection is essential whenever any part of the Sun remains visible.
Viewers should use certified eclipse glasses or another approved solar
viewing device. Ordinary sunglasses do not provide enough
protection.Never look at the Sun through binoculars, a telescope, or a
camera unless a solar filter designed for the front of the instrument is
securely attached.Dark Skies for the Perseid Meteor Shower-Later on
Aug. 12, the Perseid meteor shower will begin its peak, continuing into
the early morning of Aug. 13. Because the New Moon also arrives on Aug.
12, moonlight will not interfere, creating ideal dark conditions for
spotting meteors. The Perseids return each year as Earth travels through a
trail of debris released by Comet Swift-Tuttle. Tiny particles of comet
material enter the atmosphere at tremendous speed, heat up, and produce
bright streaks across the sky.Once darkness falls, look toward the
northeast and wait for the constellation Perseus to rise above the
horizon. The meteors appear to come from this part of the sky, but they
can streak across almost any direction, so viewers should scan a wide
area overhead. For the clearest view, choose a dark location with an open
horizon, remain outside as the night progresses, and allow about 30
minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness.Venus Shines Brightly
After Sunset-From Aug. 14 through 16, Venus reaches its greatest eastern
elongation. This marks the planet's widest visible separation from the
Sun during its current appearance in the evening sky.Shortly after
sunset, Venus will be easy to find low in the west. It will appear
brighter than every nearby star. Through a telescope, the planet will
look almost half illuminated, resembling a miniature lunar phase.A Deep
Partial Lunar Eclipse-On the night of Aug. 27, extending into Aug. 28 in
some time zones, the Full Moon will pass through Earth's shadow and
create a partial lunar eclipse. The event will be visible from much of
North and South America, as well as portions of Europe and Africa. At the
eclipse's maximum point, about 93% of the Moon's diameter will lie
within Earth's dark central shadow, known as the umbra. The Moon will
not become completely covered, but most of its surface may appear
dramatically dimmed. The shadowed portion could also develop a rusty or
copper colored tint.Unlike a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse can be
viewed safely without eye protection. Binoculars or a small telescope
can provide a closer look as the curved edge of Earth's shadow moves
across the lunar surface.
Partial solar eclipse headed for
Canadian skies. Here’s what you need to know.By-Maria Sarrouh-Updated:
August 12, 2026 at 12:07p.m. EDT
Many Canadians looking to the
sky Wednesday will enjoy a partial view of a solar eclipse, while the
moon completely blocks the sun in parts of Europe and the Arctic.“We
will see a little sliver of it taken off,” science and technology expert
Dan Riskin told CP24 this morning. “I think this is just a really
exciting day for people in Iceland, people in England, people in Spain. A
lot of people have travelled to go there to see this.”Here’s what
Canadians need to know. Will Canada see the solar eclipse in 2026? Yes,
but Canada is outside the path of totality.NASA estimates about 53 per
cent of the sun will be covered at maximum eclipse in St. John’s,
compared with 31 per cent in Halifax, 18 per cent in Montreal, and eight
per cent in Toronto. Some cities will be outside the viewing area,
including Vancouver. What time is the solar eclipse? The timing depends
on where you are in Canada, with the eclipse moving generally from west
to east. Here are the approximate start, maximum and end times for
several Canadian cities, according to NASA. All times are local.
Edmonton: begins 10:02 a.m., maximum 10:38 a.m., ends 11:15 a.m.
Winnipeg: begins 11:25 a.m., maximum 12:02 p.m., ends 12:40 p.m.
Montreal: begins 12:50 p.m., maximum 1:45 p.m., ends 2:38 p.m.
Toronto: begins 12:55 p.m., maximum 1:40 p.m., ends 2:23 p.m.
Halifax: begins 1:58 p.m., maximum 3 p.m., ends 3:58 p.m.
St. John’s: begins 2:28 p.m., maximum 3:35 p.m., ends 4:37 p.m.
Do
I need solar eclipse glasses? Yes. Anyone watching the eclipse directly
needs solar eclipse glasses for the entire event. The Canadian Space
Agency says looking directly at the sun, without appropriate protection,
can lead to serious problems such as partial or complete loss of
eyesight.Regular sunglasses, regardless of how dark, aren’t
sufficient.Where will people see a total solar eclipse? A total solar
eclipse will be visible from a relatively narrow path crossing
Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, the Atlantic Ocean, Spain and a
small part of Portugal.Outside that path, a partial eclipse will be
visible across most of Canada, parts of the northern United States, much
of Europe and northwestern Africa. How long until the next solar eclipse
in Canada? Another solar eclipse will be partially visible in eastern
Canada on Aug. 2, 2027, but Canadians will have to wait longer to
experience totality. The CSA says the next total solar eclipse visible in
Canada will take place on Aug. 22, 2044.
