13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.(1/2-3 BILLION DIE IN WW3)(THIS IS AN ATOMIC BOMB EFFECT)

MATTHEW 24:37-42
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

EZEKIEL 38:10-19
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy (RUSSIAS) mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say,(RUSSIA,ARAB,MUSLIMS) I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan,(SAUDIA ARABIA) and the merchants of Tarshish,(ENGLAND) with all the young lions thereof,(USA,CANADA,AUSTRALIA,NEW ZEALAND,EU,ENGLAND,ENGLISH SPEAKING) shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog,(RUSSIA-MUSLIMS) Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts,(RUSSIA) thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire (ATOMIC BOMB) of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

Obama's Syria war carries risks for him at home and abroad-Reuters-By Steve Holland and Roberta Rampton-SEPT 23,14-YAHOONEWS

UNITED NATIONS/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Appearing relaxed enough to crack a joke, U.S. President Barack Obama took to the world stage on Tuesday after launching airstrikes in Syria against Islamic State militants but he is still facing huge political risks at home and abroad. The reason for Obama's good humor? His diplomacy paid off this time, with military contributions from five Arab states. One of his first items of business after arriving in New York for meetings at the United Nations was to personally thank representatives from the five. But heading into a U.S. congressional election campaign season where control of the Senate is at stake, Obama's new war could become problematic for him and his Democratic Party if all does not go smoothly. It could temper the enthusiasm of anti-war Democrats to turn out and vote on Election Day in November. Any problems with the mission could further dampen his approval ratings, now hovering around 40 percent, and embolden Republicans ready to pounce at the slightest misstep.Initially, at least, Obama was scoring points with both political parties for his actions. Opinion polls could be expected to show some Americans will be pleased Obama acted to retaliate against Islamic State after the extremists beheaded two American captives and taunted the United States.Frank Newport, editor in chief of the Gallup polling organization, said polling on Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 found majority support for military action but "whether that will be translated into increased support for the president at least as we measure it is still unknown."A Reuters/Ipsos poll published on Sept. 12 showed that Americans support Obama's campaign of airstrikes but they have a low appetite for a long campaign. Sixty-four percent of people in the online survey said they backed the campaign. Twenty-one percent were opposed and 16 percent said they did not know.Obama could face problems with Congress. The vote to authorize the use of force that lawmakers approved last week did not give Obama carte blanche to carry out this fight but rather it was a limited vote for a narrow, two-month authorization to equip and train Syrian rebels.Lawmakers will be taking up this issue again after the election."His presidency was built on getting out of wars, not getting in them," said James Goldgeier, dean of American University’s School of International Service in Washington. "It's certainly risky, but there is popular support there for doing something. So I think a lot is going to depend on how it goes."Obama, who shied away from airstrikes in Syria a year ago, had a slow reversal in course. A year ago he saw no positive outcome for getting involved in Syria’s civil war. Spurred into action by the rapid rise of Islamic State, Obama has become what he worked really hard to avoid becoming, a war president. But he has sought to make sure the United States was not acting alone. His mood was such afterward that he told a joke about the pregnant Chelsea Clinton after former President Bill Clinton introduced him at the Clinton Global Initiative."If Chelsea begins delivering while I’m speaking, she has my motorcade," Obama said to laughter. Now, his challenge is to negotiate a careful path in the Middle East, keeping Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from interfering in going after more Islamic State targets. Aides said they doubt Assad will respond, since it has no control over the area that the airstrikes targeted.Obama must make sure Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi follows through on forming a government that includes Sunnis, and perhaps most importantly, must get a rebel Syrian army prepared to hold ground cleared by the airstrikes.Blaise Misztal, director of foreign policy at the Bipartisan Policy Center, said that Congress may support Obama for now, but "the longer this goes on, the more of a political football it will become.”(Additional reporting by Patricia Zengerle and Gabriel Debenedetti; Editing by Grant McCool)

Hezbollah leader opposes U.S.-led action in Syria-Reuters-SEPT 23,14-YAHOONEWS

BEIRUT (Reuters) - The leader of Hezbollah said on Tuesday he opposed U.S-led air strikes on Syria, where his Lebanese Shi'ite Muslim group has been fighting alongside forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad.Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, whose group is one of the most important helping Assad fight a Sunni-dominated insurgency, was speaking after strikes against Islamic State (IS) and other groups in Lebanon's neighbor Syria."We are against American military intervention and an international coalition in Syria, whether that (action) is against the regime or IS," Nasrallah said in a speech aired on Hezbollah-run al-Manar television."U.S. military intervention, whether under the guise of an international coalition or under the cover of NATO or under the guise of multinational forces: we have a principled position based on basic rules and norms," he said."America, is in our view, the mother of terrorism and the origin of terrorism," he said, adding this meant the United States was not ethically qualified to lead a "war on terrorism".Nasrallah, whose group is backed by Shi'ite Muslim power Iran, has previously described Islamic State as a growing "monster" that could threaten Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other Gulf states.Hezbollah has sent thousands of fighters into Syria's civil war. Its role in Syria has helped Assad beat back the rebellion against his rule in critical areas of the country including Damascus and a corridor of territory stretching north from the capital. But large parts of Syria's less densely-populated north and east have fallen to Islamic State. The Syrian war spilled into the Lebanese border town of Arsal on Aug. 2, triggering five days of battles between the Lebanese army and militants including members of Islamic State.Nasrallah appealed to the Lebanese government to negotiate with militants holding a group of Lebanese soldiers captured during the fighting, saying that it was possible to bargain with the captors from a position of strength.Islamic State and al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front have said they have executed some of the captive Lebanese soldiers and it is not clear how many are still being held.Hezbollah has said it stayed out of the Arsal battle, wary of inflaming sectarian tensions with Lebanese Sunnis, many of whom have supported the uprising against Assad.(Reporting by Mariam Karouny, Sylvia Westall and Laila Bassam; Editing by Andrew Roche)

Police uncover plot to attack EU commission HQ-22.09.14 @ 09:20-EUOBSERVER-By Nikolaj Nielsen

BRUSSELS - The European Commission headquarters in Brussels was going to be the target of an alleged terrorist plot, according to media reports.Flemish newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws on Monday (22 September) say police found a cache of weapons and explosives in an apartment in Brussels. One of the two suspects, both Dutch nationals of Turkish origin, is said to have links to Shariah 4Belgium, a Belgian radical Salafist organisation. The couple, said to be residents in The Hague, were detained early August at the Brussels airport after returning from Syria via Turkey.A European Commission spokesperson said they are aware of the plot but had received no warnings or threats, reports the Guardian.Authorities, for their part, are increasingly stepping up efforts to contain possible threats from returning nationals who have fought alongside Islamist militia groups in Syria and Iraq.Governments are concerned some of the more radical may be seeking to stage attacks on their home turf.In Belgium, around a quarter of the 400 nationals who have left to fight have since returned. Most are entering the warzone in Syria through by crossing over the Turkish border.Belgian paper L’Echo says police are actively tracking around 90 of the returned fighters."Our starting point is that among them, one out of nine aim to carry out an attack,” an unnamed source told the paper.“That is a conservative estimate, if you also take into account the people who help them,” added the source. Some are said to have joined the Islamic State (Isis), the extremist group behind recent beheadings of reporters and aid workers. The revelations about the commission come on the heels of an earlier terror attack in the Belgian capital over the summer where a gunman killed four people at the Jewish Museum.French national Mehdi Nemmouche is suspected to behind the gun killings and is now awaiting trial on "terrorist murder" charges. The 29-year old was arrested in late May in Marseilles and is said to have links with radical militia groups after having spent a year in Syria.

Kurdish refugees in Turkey adjust to harsh new reality-AFP-By Philippe Alfroy-SEPT 23,14-YAHOONEWS

Suruc (Turkey) (AFP) - When he finally managed to cross the Turkish border to find sanctuary from jihadists in Syria, Abdelaziz Temo looked for shade to find refuge from the sun and water to refresh himself. He stopped in a small mosque in the Turkish border town of Suruc. But three days later, he has still not left the building as Turkey struggles to accommodate the influx of almost 140,000 Kurdish refugees.Under the minaret, the courtyard is still occupied by some 50 Kurdish refugees who, like Abdelaziz, fled the onslaught from Islamic State (IS) jihadists on the mainly Kurdish region around the Syrian town of Ain al-Arab, known as Kobane to Kurds.Sat on mattresses, all they can do is hope for better days."There (in Syria) we lived in houses and we felt happy at home. Now, we are refugees," said Abdelaziz."You see in what condition we are living with our women and our children. We have absolutely nothing, it is shameful."The new inhabitants of the mosque have for the last days been solely reliant on the generosity of the local Turkish inhabitants.A pile of plates with the remnants of an old meal are stacked in the corner while the stench from the lavatories is palpable."We can't even buy our own food. Some people don't even have enough money for bread or cigarettes," Abdelaziz added. "Fortunately, people here are helping us out of the goodness of their own hearts."In front of the mosque, an old lorry screeches to a stop. It is time for the distribution of provisions, a gift from merchants from the neighbouring city of Urfa. The refugees crowd round the vehicle, from which blankets are distributed.

- 'We need to leave here' -

"We collected money in the name of solidarity and we bought these blankets," said one of the local figures behind the action, Ahmet Karabulut."We are giving them out in mosques, in halls, or in the schools where the refugees are living," he added. The Red Crescent and other NGOs are also distributing supplies, but despite the genuine local generosity, conditions are still precarious."There is no way for the children to wash, there is no school and nothing for them to do," said Kurdish refugee Naide Mehmet Ali."We need to leave here."Mustafa Bekir has more luck. He has a roof. A teacher from Ain al-Arab, he has found refuge along with his family with his son Brusk who has been living in the Turkish region's main city Urfa for the last two years. But the conditions are far from simple. Mustafa Bekir has been living with some 40 other people -- grandchildren, uncles and cousins -- squashed together in four very cramped rooms."Some people sleep on the mattresses, others on the carpet, on the roof or on the balcony, or even in the city in the parks," said Bekir."Lucky that it is still summer," he added with an ironic smile.Life is hard, but family solidarity remains. "For the moment, we have done what we could with what we had," said Brusk."Later, the young people will go and look for work, but if we need to we will just have to sell what we have in the house."Mustafa Bekir remains pessimistic: "We will not be able to continue like this for long but there is little hope of being able to return to the country."
