What's thought to be an audio recording of the shooting death of Michael Brown has reportedly surfaced. According to CNN, an unidentified man, who has since been interviewed by the FBI, is said to have managed to record the incident in which Michael Brown was shot by Officer Darren Wilson earlier this month, setting off a national firestorm. The most notable tidbit from the short recording (and what will become subject to the most immediately scrutiny and parsing) is the existence of two distinct volleys of gunfire from Officer Darren Wilson's weapon. From CNN:class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3">In the recording, a quick series of shots can be heard, followed by a pause and then another quick succession of shots.Forensic audio expert Paul Ginsberg analyzed the recording and said he detected at least 10 gunshots -- a cluster of six, followed by four.The man who recorded the shooting was talking to someone on video chat when the sounds of gunfire erupted in the background. The Daily Mail added:Lopa Blumenthal, the attorney for the unidentified man who recorded the alleged gunfire nearby said that she believed the audio shows, if it is authentic, that Officer Wilson had a clear 'point of contemplation' while pulling the trigger and aiming at Brown."Also of some serious importance, should the tape's authenticity be confirmed, is the fact that ten (or, by some counts, eleven) shots were fired at Brown by Wilson.

LOUIS - The mourners filled an enormous church to remember Michael Brown — recalling him as a "gentle giant," aspiring rapper and recent high school graduate on his way to a technical college.But the funeral that unfolded Monday was about much more than the black 18-year-old who lay in the closed casket after being shot to death by a white police officer. The emotional service sought to consecrate Brown's death as another in the long history of the civil rights movement and implored black Americans to change their protest chants into legislation and law."Show up at the voting booths. Let your voices be heard, and let everyone know that we have had enough of all of this," said Eric Davis, one of Brown's cousins.The Rev. Al Sharpton called for a movement to clean up police forces and the communities they serve."We're not anti-police. We respect police. But those police that are wrong need to be dealt with just like those in our community that are wrong need to be dealt with," Sharpton said.Two uncles remembered how Brown had once predicted that someday the whole world would know his name."He did not know he was offering up a divine prophecy," Bernard Ewing said.More than 4,500 mourners filled Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis for the service, which at times seemed like a cross between a gospel revival and a rock concert. “He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description. And, he’s looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. Tries to get out of his car. They slam his door shut violently. I think he said Michael did. And, then he opened the car again. He tried to get out. He stands up.And then Michael just bum-rushes him and shoves him back into his car. Punches him in the face and then Darren grabs for his gun. Michael grabbed for the gun. At one point he got the gun entirely turned against his hip. And he shoves it away. And the gun goes off.The gun shot either hit the car door if it was closed.Or if the police car door was opened-the shot might have went in the air somewhere.

Then Michael and Adrian Johnson goes running about 35 feet.Adrian Johnson goes somewhere when Brown tells him to run.While Brown is in the center of the street.While Officer Darren Wilson gets back out of the car for the third time.He walks and shoots one shot at Brown.This might have been the shot that grazed Browns left arm.Then Wilson tells Brown to freeze.Mike then turns around and puts his hands up to his chest and looks to Officer Wilson.Brown then tants Wilson.Officer Wilson shoots off another 5 shots at Brown. And two of the five shots must have hit Browns right hand.Heres were we have a 3 second break before the last four shots are fire.I figure at this point Brown then says to Wilson.I dare you to shoot me.And Brown goes running for Officer Wilson.Wilson then shoots shot number 7 into the eye of Brown.And Brown then loses his balance due to his eye being hit by the gun shot.And Brown starts to fall to the ground.Officer Wilson then shoots the last three shots one after the other.the 8th and 9th shots go into the right arm of Brown.And by now Browns head is directly on the way to the ground.Then the 3rd consecutive shot and 10th and final shot hits Brown in the head and kills him.As he falls head down on the road.His body lands head down on the road.Wilson sees Brown is not moving any more.And Wilson knows this incident is over.And Officer Wilson then says to himself and the other officer that comes on the scene a minute or so later.I think Brown was on dope or something.

What's thought to be an audio recording of the shooting death of Michael Brown has reportedly surfaced. According to CNN, an unidentified man, who has since been interviewed by the FBI, is said to have managed to record the incident in which Michael Brown was shot by Officer Darren Wilson earlier this month, setting off a national firestorm. The most notable tidbit from the short recording (and what will become subject to the most immediately scrutiny and parsing) is the existence of two distinct volleys of gunfire from Officer Darren Wilson's weapon. From CNN:class="cnn_storypgraphtxt cnn_storypgraph3">In the recording, a quick series of shots can be heard, followed by a pause and then another quick succession of shots.Forensic audio expert Paul Ginsberg analyzed the recording and said he detected at least 10 gunshots -- a cluster of six, followed by four.The man who recorded the shooting was talking to someone on video chat when the sounds of gunfire erupted in the background. The Daily Mail added:Lopa Blumenthal, the attorney for the unidentified man who recorded the alleged gunfire nearby said that she believed the audio shows, if it is authentic, that Officer Wilson had a clear 'point of contemplation' while pulling the trigger and aiming at Brown."Also of some serious importance, should the tape's authenticity be confirmed, is the fact that ten (or, by some counts, eleven) shots were fired at Brown by Wilson.
Mourners fill huge church for Michael Brown's funeral, urge black Americans to take action

LOUIS - The mourners filled an enormous church to remember Michael Brown — recalling him as a "gentle giant," aspiring rapper and recent high school graduate on his way to a technical college.But the funeral that unfolded Monday was about much more than the black 18-year-old who lay in the closed casket after being shot to death by a white police officer. The emotional service sought to consecrate Brown's death as another in the long history of the civil rights movement and implored black Americans to change their protest chants into legislation and law."Show up at the voting booths. Let your voices be heard, and let everyone know that we have had enough of all of this," said Eric Davis, one of Brown's cousins.The Rev. Al Sharpton called for a movement to clean up police forces and the communities they serve."We're not anti-police. We respect police. But those police that are wrong need to be dealt with just like those in our community that are wrong need to be dealt with," Sharpton said.Two uncles remembered how Brown had once predicted that someday the whole world would know his name."He did not know he was offering up a divine prophecy," Bernard Ewing said.More than 4,500 mourners filled Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis for the service, which at times seemed like a cross between a gospel revival and a rock concert. It began with upbeat music punctuated by clapping. Some people danced in place.The crowd included the parents of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed 17-year-old African-American fatally shot by a neighbourhood watch volunteer in Florida, along with a cousin of Emmett Till, a 14-year-old murdered by several white men while visiting Mississippi in 1955. At the Ferguson Police Department, where a small but steady group of protesters have stood vigil, a handmade sign announced a "break for funeral." On Monday afternoon, the West Florissant Avenue commercial corridor was also devoid of protesters, whose ranks have typically swelled as days turned to nights.After the service, Corey Thomas, a 34-year-old St. Louis man, said the large crowd at the church reflected "that people are tired of being treated like dogs. Most important, she hopes it provides healing for Brown's family."I really wanted to just be here today to pray for the family and pray for peace," said Pierre, 48, who is black. "When all of this dies down, there's still a mother, father and a family who's lost someone. Sometimes a lot of the unrest takes away from that."Monday also marked the first day back at school for students in the Ferguson-Florissant School District.
