HOW POPES USED TO DRESS

KING JESUS IS COMING FOR US ANY TIME NOW. THE RAPTURE. BE PREPARED TO GO.

A FALSE PROPHET COMES FROM THE VATICAN ALSO AT THIS TIME.

REVELATION 13:11-18
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;(FALSE VATICAN POPE) and he had two horns like a lamb,(JESUS IS THE LAMB OF GOD) and he spake as a dragon.(HES SATANICALLY INSPIRED,HES A CHRISTIAN DEFECTOR FROM THE FAITH)
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him,(WORLD DICTATOR) and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.(THE WORLD DICTATOR CREATES A FALSE RESURRECTION AND IS CROWNED LEADER OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER).
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he(FALSE POPE) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:(CHIP IMPLANT)
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.(6-6-6) A NUMBER SYSTEM

REVELATION 17:1-18
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,(VATICAN IN POLITICS) and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman (FALSE CHURCH) was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,(VATICAN COLOURS)(ANOTHER REASON WE KNOW THE FALSE POPE COMES FROM THE VATICAN) and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

An original piece of research that combines the study of costume and of sacred objects related to the history of the papacy has been the object of much discussion in Genoa. This is following a presentation of the study in Rome, attended by the Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone and Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi

Luca Rolandi Turin
Le vesti dei Papi I parati della Sacrestia Pontificia (Papal dress and the apparel worn in the Papal Sacristy) is a book written by Professor Marzia Cataldi Gallo, a scholar of international renown, who specialises in the field of old textiles and the history of costume. This is the first work that presents the rich heritage of the Papal Sacristy, located behind the Sistine Chapel.

The Sacristy’s spacious chestnut wardrobes hide treasures that have been woven and embroidered over the centuries: from the garments worn by Paul V Borghese (1605-1621) to the pieces worn by the Pope today. The papal vestments make for an incredibly rich heritage that remains unknown to date, especially the papal outfits which are sporadically published in books discussing golden and silver furnishings or occasionally shown in exhibitions. The first book on the topic gives readers the chance to experience two centuries of papal and Church history.

The study of preserved vestments is combined with the analysis of a number of archived documents that reveal the importance of the old outfits and the various stories that led to their preservation or destruction. The analysis of thoroughly kept inventories and account books made it possible to reconstruct the identities and activities of many artists and artisans: embroiderers, the “banderari” – middle class artisans who tailored the vestments and the merchants who supplied the finest materials. All these individuals worked in the service of each respective Pope over the centuries, producing embroidered garments that were then copied all over Europe.

The archive documents are illuminating as they provide accounts of life in the Papal household. On the one hand they reveal information about the considerable expenses incurred and on the other, they show the “recycling” which took place, through the common tradition of Popes re-using their predecessor’s coat of arms, to save on materials. Besides the papal vestments, other components of the Popes’ “daily” dress were also analysed. In particular the superb white cassocks of the Blessed Pope Innocent XI (1676-1689). More that one century since the last complete inventory was made in 1906, this extraordinary and previously unknown heritage is finally revealed. This is also thanks to the precious help of the photographic equipment available.

In a statement to Vatican Insider, the author of the book said: “My desire to carry out this research grew after 30 years of working in the Ligurian sacristies, as a conservator for Liguria’s Regional Board of Artistic and Historical Heritage. My work involved cataloguing and restoring a great number of liturgical vestments (as well as other pieces of art of course). But my passion for old textiles and the history of costume goes back a while before this.”

Mrs. Cataldi Gallo who worked as a civil servant (1984-2008) and head of Liguria’s Regional Board of Artistic and Historical Heritage (2003-2006) commented on the photographic equipment that was of great help to her in this splendid reconstruction, saying: “The photos I used in my study were invaluable in helping me weave my way through the various parameters and in trying to work out which pontificate each piece of clothing belonged to. Daria Vinco’s beautiful photos are vital in presenting this unknown heritage to the public.”

Tomorrow morning departure for Brazil for the 28th World Youth Day Youth Week renamed from Bergoglio

Vatican Insider Staff Rome

On the eve of his departure to Brazil for the World Youth Day celebrations in Rio de Janeiro, Pope Francis from the window of the apostolic palace asked those present in St Peter’s Square to accompany him spiritually in prayer for this his first Apostolic visit He also entrusted what he called “this new stage of the great pilgrimage of young people across the world”, to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who he added, is so loved and venerated in Brazil. The Holy Father was speaking following the recitation of the Angelus underlining that at this time, young people should listen to the voice of Jesus. The week of World Youth Day said the Pope could also be called “World Youth Week as it is a week devoted to youth.Peering down at the huge crowds in St Peter’s Square Pope Francis noticed a banner held up by a group of pilgrims, which read “Buon Viaggio” or “have a good trip”. He smiled and thanked them for their good wishes. The Pope on Sunday also focused his attention on the Gospel reading from Luke which recounts the story of Martha and Mary and their brother Lazarus.Pope Francis described how both sisters offered hospitality to Jesus on his visit to their house, but in different ways. Mary places herself at the feet of Jesus while Martha is busy preparing things. The Holy Father explained that both of these disciplines, service and prayer are needed to serve the Lord, “they are not two opposing attitudes but, on the contrary both are two aspects essential to our Christian life aspects that should never be separated, but lived in profound unity and harmony.”Even in our Christian lives, continued the Pope, prayer and action are always deeply united. A prayer that does not lead to concrete action towards a poor brother, who is sick, and in need of help, is a prayer that is sterile and incomplete. But, equally, Pope Francis said, when in ecclesial service you are careful only to give more attention to objects, functions, and structures, and forget the centrality of Christ, you are likely to serve these earthy things and not God.At the end of the Angelus.

Palestinians say no peace talks without '67 borders agreement

RAMALLAH, West Bank/JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The Palestinians played down on Monday the significance of an imminent meeting in Washington of their top peace envoy with his Israeli counterpart, saying formal negotiation would not begin unless their opening terms were satisfied. The Palestinian position seemed to run counter to U.S. hopes that bringing together Saeb Erekat and Israel's Tzipi Livni in the coming days would kick-start peacemaking stalled for almost three years over Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank.In another setback to the negotiators' meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu planned first to seek cabinet-level approval for the prospective new talks, which were announced by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday. At the time, Kerry, winding up months of intensive and discreet mediation, predicted Erekat and Livni would join him in Washington "to begin initial talks within the next week or so".But that appeared unlikely as Netanyahu, facing skepticism within his rightist governing coalition at the diplomatic drive, wanted to await the next full sitting of his cabinet on July 28 or possibly an earlier session of the smaller security cabinet."It looks like negotiations will begin only next week, not this week," an Israeli official said late on Sunday, disclosing Netanyahu's plans to win over recalcitrant ministers.Netanyahu says the new talks must be held without "preconditions", especially regarding the borders of the state Palestinians want to found in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip, which Israel captured in the 1967 Middle East war.Though it withdrew from Gaza in 2005, Israel deems all of Jerusalem its undivided capital - a status not accepted internationally - and wants to keep swathes of West Bank settlements under any eventual peace accord.Yet the Palestinians insist no negotiations can be held until all sides agree the pre-1967 borders would be their basis.Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rdaineh said Erekat had yet to be invited to Washington. When he goes, Abu Rdaineh said, it would be first to determine the framework of any future negotiations."If they reach an agreement over the details, in accordance to the Palestinian demands, then the launch of negotiations will be announced," Abu Rdaineh told Reuters on Monday.
PRISONERS, PLEBISCITES
He said that those demands, relayed by Abbas to Kerry, included Israel's recognition that the two-state solution was predicated on the 1967 borders, and clarifications about its planned release of Palestinian prisoners in a goodwill gesture.Even the latter was dogged with dispute, however.Israel said that, starting in September, it would free 82 Palestinians jailed before 1993, when the sides signed interim peace accords. But Qadoura Fares of the Palestinian Prisoners Club said Abbas wanted 103 long-serving inmates released.
Interviewed by Jordan's Al-Rai newspaper, Abbas said Kerry had "taken our proposal regarding the resumption of the peace process with him" to Washington.Abbas held out the possibility that, should diplomacy remain mired, Palestinians, defying pressure by Israel and the Obama administration - would again appeal to the United Nations at its annual assembly in September to support their borders claim.Denouncing the West Bank settlements as illegal - a view shared by most world powers - Abbas told Al-Rai that Israel should "get out of Palestinian land completely" though he voiced willingness to find a formula addressing its security concerns.A major focus of these is Gaza, which is now under the control of armed Hamas Islamists who spurn coexistence with the Jewish state, question Abbas' authority, and enjoy grassroots support among some Palestinians in the West Bank.Alluding to the risk of Abbas' U.S.-backed administration one day falling to Hamas, Netanyahu has said revived peacemaking could prevent the emergence of a West Bank "terror state".Opinion polls suggest narrow majorities among Palestinians and Israelis for the two-state solution, and both Abbas and Netanyahu plans to put any eventual peace accord to referendums.Even in the absence of a deal, Netanyahu sees value in the effort as "a strategic process to tighten relations with the United States", the Israeli official on condition of anonymity.According to the official, Netanyahu would, in convening Israeli ministers on the talks, emphasize the importance of sticking close to Washington to cope with the overarching threats posed by Iran's disputed nuclear program and by spreading strife in Syria and Egypt.(Additional reporting by Nidal al-Mughrabi; Writing by Dan Williams; Editing by Alison Williams)

Abbas: 'All options open' if peace talks fail

JERUSALEM (AP) — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas warned in comments published Monday that "all options are open" if the U.S. fails to restart Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. The comments, Abbas' first since U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced last week that peace talks may resume for the first time in five years, may be an attempt to exert pressure on the U.S. and Israel to meet Palestinian demands on the terms of formal negotiations.Israeli and Palestinian representatives are to hold preliminary talks in Washington soon. There, the sides are to work out the final details of what Kerry portrayed as broad agreement on the framework for restarting peace talks that collapsed in 2008.Abbas did not name his other options, but referred to last year's upgrade of the Palestinian status at the U.N. At the time, the General Assembly accepted a state of Palestine in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem — lands Israel captured in 1967 — as a non-member observer state in a largely symbolic gesture.Palestinian officials have said that in the absence of negotiations with Israel, they would seek further U.N. recognition, including membership in U.N. agencies and possible redress against Israeli policies at the International Criminal Court.Israel fears that the Palestinian could make further gains in international bodies and use those positions to act against the Jewish state. In an interview with Al Ra'i, Jordan's largest pro-government daily, Abbas portrayed last year's U.N. recognition as "the most important achievement for the Palestinian state in the past years."The Palestinians want a state in the borders endorsed by the U.N. last year."If there is no agreement to push peace forward, all options are open," Abbas added, referring to a possible collapse of Kerry's mission. The Jordanian newspaper spoke to Abbas on Friday and did not explain why it only published his comments Monday.
Despite Kerry's upbeat announcement last week, it remains unclear if preliminary Israeli-Palestinian meetings in Washington will lead to a resumption of actual negotiations on the terms of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu Rdeneh said Sunday night that the path to formal negotiations with Israel is still blocked. The Washington talks are meant to "overcome the obstacles that still stand in the way of launching negotiations," he said.Gaps remain on three issues Palestinians say need to be settled before talks can begin — the baseline for border talks, the extent of a possible Israeli settlement slowdown and a timetable for releasing long-detained Palestinian prisoners.Israel has been insisting that that peace talks resume without preconditions and that all issues be resolved through dialogue.Tzipi Livni, Israel's chief negotiator, said talks are "complex" but are vital."There is an opportunity not just to hold a dialogue with the Palestinians in order to end the conflict but a chance to form an alliance with the moderates in the region ... in order to act against the extremists," Livni told members of her party Monday.___Associated Press writer Jamal Halaby in Amman, Jordan, contributed reporting.

The death toll reported by the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights included 49 rebels killed in an ambush in Damascus’s northeastern suburb of Adra early Sunday. The group said an elite unit loyal to Assad ambushed the rebels as they were trying to push into the city.Syrian state news agency SANA reported the ambush Sunday, without giving a casualty figure. The Observatory reported that another 17 rebels died in fighting Sunday in central Damascus, while another nine were killed in its suburbs.
It was one of the deadliest days for the opposition in the 2-year-old conflict, which has killed over 93,000 people according to the UN.

EU to discuss blacklisting Hezbollah

Today @ 09:21 JULY 22,13
By Nikolaj Nielsen
BRUSSELS - EU foreign affairs ministers in Brussels on Monday (22 July) are set to discuss blacklisting the military wing of the militant Lebanese group Hezbollah.Listing it as a terrorist organisation requires unanimous agreement by all 28 ministers.Sanctions could include possible travel and asset bans. EU officials and leaders would not be allowed contact with any of its members.Hezbollah was established as an organisation in 1982 to spread the late Ayatollah Khomeini’s “Islamic Revolution” among Shiites in Lebanon and throughout the Arab region. The group sees Europe as a base to help finance its activities.Already banned in the Netherlands, the group also endures a number of restrictions elsewhere in the EU.Broadcasts from its Al-Manar TV station are blocked in France, Germany, and Spain.Bulgaria’s Minister of the Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov accused the group of a 2012 bomb attack on a bus in Burgas, which killed five Israeli tourists and their Bulgarian driver.Investigations into the attack are still ongoing, casting doubts on the evidence of the group’s involvement and Tsvetanov’s finger-pointing.Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s open support of Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad and his brutal two-year campaign to stamp out rebel groups may have increased the pressure in Brussels to place them on the EU terrorist watch list. The UK wants to separate the civil and military wing of the group and ban the latter. The idea has gained the support of Germany and France.
But other member states express concerns a ban could undermine Lebanon’s fragile stability.Along with the Czech Republic, Ireland, Italy and Poland, Austria voiced concerns in June over British moves to put the group on the EU terrorist list. Both Austria and Ireland have peacekeepers stationed at the Golan Heights and are concerned that a more radical Hezbollah would increase tensions in the region. For its part, Lebanon says the ban could radicalise the movement and urged Brussels on Friday not to place it on its EU terrorist watch list.It described the militant group as an "essential component of Lebanese society."
