21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Shas MK: We Need the Arab League Peace Plan

Veteran Shas MK and former Deputy Minister Yitzchak Cohen said Sunday that he supported the latest plan by the Arab League to solve the Israel-Arab conflict. The plan would entail Israel giving up nearly all of Judea and Samaria and repatriating many descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948.In an interview with the Knesset Channel, Cohen said that Israel could have solved the conflict a long time ago, in 1972, had it accepted the peace plan presented by then-Secretary of State William Rogers. That plan, too, would have seen Israel give up nearly all of Judea and Samaria. Cohen added that Israel's rejection of the plan was a direct cause of the Yom Kippur War the following year, in which Israel lost thousands of soldiers.“We now have a golden opportunity to solve the conflict, courtesy of the Arab League,” Cohen said. “This plan is different than previous plans, because it allows for exchange of territory, with the possibility that the settlements will remain in place.” The plan states that the League would agree, only with the consent of the Palestinian Authority, to "comparable" and "minor" land swaps. In a statement earlier this month, the Prime Minister's Office “welcomed the support given by the Arab league delegation and the U.S. secretary of state to the diplomatic process.”With that, Cohen said that his was a personal, not a party stance. “I also supported the IDF's withdrawal from Lebanon” in 1999, Cohen said, “and that was not a Shas position, but my own. I believe we must turn over every stone” to effectively implement the Arab League plan, which he sees as a way to finally end the conflict, Cohen said.Cohen denied that he had changed his position to be more in line with that of new Shas boss Aryeh Deri, emphasizing that his views were in line with the principles outlined by Shas spiritual leader and former Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. “Shas is a pragmatic party, and we desire to advance the peace process,” he added.

Security Chief: IDF Taking Off the Silk Gloves

The IDF is increasingly determined to stop Palestinian Authority-resident Arabs’ attacks on Israeli communities, and is willing to use live fire if necessary, says Yehuda Dana, security chief for the Beit El region.Speaking to Arutz Sheva, Dana said there has been an escalation in Arab attacks on Israeli civilians in recent months. “Their brazenness has crossed the line – they are doing what they didn’t do for years, like reaching the fence of an Israeli community and throwing rocks into the community, causing injuries,” he related.Until now, Arab rioters were handled “with silk gloves,” he said, with soldiers restricting themselves to non-lethal means of riot dispersal such as tear gas and rubber bullets.“Unfortunately, the Palestinians realized that they were facing an opponent that could not defeat them,” he said. However, he said, things are changing. “There is a change in the decisiveness, in the determination to end this phenomenon… I hope the other side realizes that the ‘silk glove treatment’ is over.”Dana gave the new commander for the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier-General Tamir Yadai, much of the credit for the change. “We met with the new District Commander and the conversation was positive. I hope the commander’s spirit reaches every last soldier,” he said.“Yadai made it clear that rocks will not be allowed to cross the fence around communities, and that it is unthinkable that residents or property be damaged,” he explained. “He emphasized that he would take a firm approach in response to such incidents.”Residents of the Beit El region were pleased to see IDF troops taking a strong stance against rock attacks and firebombing, Dana said, but are waiting to see if the situation will last. “Ultimately the results will speak for themselves,” he concluded.

JOEL 2:3,30
3 A fire devoureth before them;(ATOMIC BOMB) and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet,(DISOLVED) and their eyes shall consume away in their holes,(DISOLVED) and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.(DISOLVED)(BECAUSE NUKES HAVE BEEN USED ON ISRAELS ENEMIES)(GOD PROTECTS ISRAEL AND ALWAYS WILL)
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.(1/2-3 BILLION DIE IN WW3)(THIS IS AN ATOMIC BOMB EFFECT)

EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

North Korea fires short-range missiles for two days in a row

By Jane Chung
SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea fired a short-range missile from its east coast on Sunday, a day after launching three of these missiles, a South Korean news agency said, ignoring calls for restraint from Western powers.Launches by the North of short-range missiles are not uncommon but, after recent warnings from the communist state of impending nuclear war, such actions have raised concerns about the region's security.
"North Korea fired a short-range missile as it did yesterday into its east sea in the afternoon, " South Korea's news agency Yonhap reported, citing a military official.A South Korean defense ministry official confirmed the Yonhap report, but did not provide any details.U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said he was concerned about North Korea's launch of short-range missiles, urging Pyonyang to refrain from further launches and return to stalled nuclear talks with world powers.Ban, who spoke to Russian state news agency RIA Novosti during a visit to Moscow, called Saturday's launch a "provocative action".Tension on the Korean peninsula has subsided in the past month, having run high for several weeks after the United Nations Security Council imposed tougher sanctions against Pyongyang following its third nuclear test in February.
The North had for weeks issued nearly daily warnings of impending nuclear war with the South and the United States.South Korea's Unification Ministry criticized the missile tests as deplorable and urged the North to lower tensions and hold talks over a suspended inter-Korean industrial park in the North's border city of Kaesong.South Korea pulled out all of its workers from the industrial zone early this month after North Korea withdrew its 53,000 workers as tensions mounted.(Additional reporting by Alissa de Carbonnel in MOSCOW; Editing by Sanjeev Miglani)

North Korea fires projectile into eastern waters

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea fired a projectile into waters off its eastern coast Sunday, a day after launching three short-range missiles in the same area, officials said.North Korea routinely test-launches short-range missiles. But the latest launches came during a period of tentative diplomacy aimed at easing recent tension, including near-daily threats by North Korea to attack South Korea and the U.S. earlier this year. North Korea protested annual joint military drills by Seoul and Washington and U.N. sanctions imposed over its February nuclear test. The fourth launch occurred Sunday afternoon, according to officials at Seoul's Defense Ministry and Joint Chiefs of Staff. The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity citing department rules, refused to say whether it was a missile or artillery round. On Saturday, North Korea fired two short-range missiles in the morning and another in the afternoon. The U.S. responded by saying threats or provocations would only further deepen North Korea's international isolation, while South Korea called the launches a provocation and urged the North to take responsible actions. The North has a variety of missiles but Seoul and Washington don't believe the country has mastered the technology needed to manufacture nuclear warheads that are small and light enough to be placed on a missile capable of reaching the U.S.U.S. officials said the North has recently withdrawn two mid-range "Musudan" missiles believed to be capable of reaching Guam after moving them to its east coast during the recent tensions.
The Korean Peninsula officially remains in a state of war because the 1950-53 Korean War ended with an armistice, not a peace treaty. South Korea's Defense Ministry said Sunday it has deployed dozens of Israeli-made precision guided missiles on front-line islands near the disputed western sea boundary as part of an arms buildup begun after a North Korean artillery strike on one of the islands in 2010 killed four South Koreans.___Associated Press writer Sam Kim contributed to this report.

Syrian army pushes assault on rebel-held town

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — Syrian troops backed by tanks and warplanes launched an assault Sunday on a strategic rebel-held town near the Lebanese border, pounding the area with airstrikes and artillery salvos that killed at least 30 people and forced residents to scramble for cover in basements and makeshift bunkers, activists said. The town of Qusair has been besieged for weeks by regime troops and pro-government gunmen backed by the Lebanese militant Hezbollah group. The siege is part of a withering offensives forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad have been pushing in recent weeks to regain control of the towns and villages along the Lebanese frontier. The region's strategic value is twofold: it links Damascus with the Mediterranean coastal enclave that is the heartland of President Bashar Assad's Alawite sect, an offshoot of Shiite Islam; and rebels smuggle weapons and supplies from Lebanon across the porous frontier to opposition fighters in Syria. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 30 people, including 16 rebel fighters and one woman, were killed in Qusair in morning fighting, but that the death toll was expected to rise as government troops continue to try to push into the town.A government official in the nearby provincial capital of Homs said that regime troops have encircled the town and that "the offensive to liberate Qusair has begun."The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media, said the army has built up its forces on three fronts around Qusair while leaving one clear for "safe passage for fleeing civilians and the armed terrorists who want to surrender."The official said government forces have advanced into the town, taking over the municipality building and other vital government institutions. But Hadi Abdullah, an activist in Qusair reached on Skype, denied the regime made any advances on the ground. He said the municipality was destroyed in fighting six months ago, and that there's no government building left to take over.He said heavy shelling began late Saturday and continued through Sunday, and that civilians have sought shelter in basements."It's the heaviest since the beginning of the revolution," he said, adding that at least 17 houses have been destroyed. The discrepancy in the accounts could not be immediately verified.Separately, an official at the Homs governor's office said two suicide bombings in the town of Deir Balbaa just outside of Homs killed at least three people and wounded 15 others. The official declined to be identified because he is not allowed to make public comments.Another pair of bombings struck near a factory on a different Homs highway, killing four people and wounding 13, the state news agency reported. The regime' offensive on Qusair comes as the United States and Russia push a joint effort to get Assad and his opponents to negotiate an end to the country's civil war. Previous attempts to solve the conflict peacefully have failed. The U.S.-Russian plan, similar to one set out last year in Geneva, calls for talks on a transition government and an open-ended cease-fire.More than 70,000 people have been killed and several million displaced since the uprising against Assad erupted in March 2011 and escalated into a civil war. The fighting has also spilled over into neighboring states, including Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon and Israel, all of which are anxious about the ripple effect of Syria's conflict on their own nations. On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned at a weekly Cabinet meeting Sunday that the Jewish state was prepared to act if there were more shipments to Hezbollah from Syria."We are following the developments and changes there closely and we are prepared for every scenario," he said.Israeli warplanes carried out two rounds of airstrikes on Damascus early this month on what officials have said were sophisticated missiles bound for Hezbollah. On Saturday, Assad said in a newspaper interview that he won't step down before elections and that the United States has no right to interfere in his country's politics.
Assad's comments to the Argentine newspaper Clarin were the first about his political future since Washington and Moscow agreed earlier this month to try to bring the regime and the opposition to an international conference for talks about a peaceful resolution to the conflict. The U.S. and Russia have backed opposite sides in the conflict, but appear to have found common ground in the diplomatic push.
The White House and the Kremlin envision holding the meeting next month, but no date has been set. Neither Assad nor the Syrian National Coalition, the main Western-backed opposition coalition group, has made a firm commitment to attend. In the interview, Assad seemed to play down the importance of such a conference, saying a decision on Syria's future is up to the Syrian people, not the U.S. He also said a decision on his political future must be made in elections, and not during such a conference. As the regime and opposition decides whether to even take part in the conference, the planning for the potential talks looked set to move forward.Jordan is to host Western and Arab foreign ministers, including U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, for a meeting Wednesday that brings together the Syrian opposition's foreign supporters to plan for the peace talks. In Egypt, the Arab League said its ministerial committee on Syria will meet Thursday to discuss ways to convene the international conference on Syria. The Syrian opposition said they will meet in Turkey that same day to discuss whether to take part in an international conference on the conflict. ___Associated Press writers Albert Aji in Damascus, Syria, Aron Heller in Jerusalem, Maamoun Youssef in Cairo, Egypt, and Yasmine Saker in Beirut contributed to this report.

Head of Pro-Israel Organization Targeted By IRS Speaks Out

Details are unfolding about the Internal Revenue Source's targeting of conservative and pro-Israel organizations. Earlier this week, TheBlaze reported that the pro-Israel educational group Z STREET was among those targeted.Z STREET filed a lawsuit in 2010, claiming the organization's attorney was told by an IRS agent that their tax exempt status application had to undergo additional scrutiny since their organization was "connected to Israel."The Z STREET attorney was also informed that groups supportive of Israel and that filed for tax exempt status were assigned to "a special unit in the D.C. office to determine whether the organization's activities contradict the Administration's public policies."Lori Lowenthal Marcus, president of the pro-Israel group, appeared on the Glenn Beck Program to discuss her experience with the IRS."They asked a lot of questions about the board members and their affiliations," Marcus said before adding that the IRS agents asked the questions repeatedly.According to Marcus, the IRS agent assigned to their case in 2010 told Z STREET's lawyer that they had to scrutinize their organization more carefully due to its ties with Israel. The Jewish Press reported that at least one other Jewish religious organization claims it also endured a bizarre string of questioning by the IRS, saying it was asked "whether [it] supports the existence of the land of Israel" and for the organization to "describe [its] religious belief system toward the land of Israel."
Z STREET's first hearing on the lawsuit is scheduled for July 2 in Washington, D.C..
