President Barack Obama is rapidly advancing an executive dictatorship that threatens to completely nullify the US Constitution if left unchecked, with his administration hastily eroding every other branch of government as the White House crosses the rubicon to push through its political agenda on every front, from the war in Libya to domestic gun control.

WAR ON LIBYA

Obama has displayed open hostility to the rule of law and the Constitution when asked why he has failed to obtain Congressional approval for the war on Libya.Obama has ignored his own constitutional lawyers on the legality of the conquest, claiming that Congressional approval is not needed because the legitimacy of the UN supersedes Congress and that the bombardment, which has included over 800 bombing runs flown by US warplanes, is not a war.Obama has used word games and mental gymnastics to claim he hasn’t violated the War Powers Resolution. Even as universities, apartment blocks and marketplaces are bombed, killing innocent civilians, communications are blocked, and even as top admirals now admit that the scope of the mission is all about regime change, the Obama administration still clings to the ludicrous fallacy that the bombardment of Libya is not a war.Indeed, the White House itself characterized the goal in Libya as installing a democratic system, a euphemism for regime change, acknowledging that the agenda goes far beyond protecting civilians,as Obama claimed during his March 19 speech.

GUN CONTROL

As part of its bid to eviscerate the Second Amendment by stealth, or under the radar as Obama himself called it, the White House is about to launch a new gun control offensive that will bypass the necessity of passing legislation in Congress and instead rely on only executive orders or administrative actions.According to a Huffington Post story on the issue, Obama is likely to have more success pushing through gun control if he circumvents Congress on the issue. Executive actions offer something that legislation doesn’t: guaranteed results. And as one gun control advocate told the Huffington Post, there are ways to use these administrative changes to obtain similar results,writes Sam Stein.With the revelations surrounding Fast and Furious having blown up in their face, and the Obama administration’s ploy to blame violence in Mexico on gun rights even after they got caught shipping in the weapons in tatters, the White House is desperate to push through new gun control measures that are integral to advancing Rahm Emanuel’s May 2007 call to put people who are on a no fly list on a no gun buy list, stripping millions of Americans of their Second Amendment rights because they have been erroneously placed on a notoriously inaccurate no fly list that includes everyone from Senators to toddlers.

DEBT CEILING

As part of Obama’s charge to sink America into more debt to foreign bankers, he has dredged up a 143-year-old clause related to the Civil War in a bid to raise the debt ceiling, overtly challenging Congressional control of the budget, a development that could spark a constitutional crisis, reports AFP.Obama’s attempt to use an obscure civil war clause to circumvent Congress, which is empowered to control the purse strings, is another example of his administration’s flagrant effort to nullify the separation of powers within government and give the executive branch supreme control.

CARBON TAXES

After the White House failed in its bid to implement a de facto carbon tax through cap and trade, Obama simply bypassed Congress completely and had the EPA declare CO2 to be a pollutant and a public health threat, allowing greenhouse gas emissions to be regulated and taxed through the Clean Air Act.The EPA’s move was little more than a threat to back Congress into a corner and force them into passing legislation that would regulate CO2 for all new or expanded power plants.The fact that this has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with fleecing American taxpayers was confirmed when Obama gave a waiver to General Electric and ensured that one of the biggest emitters of carbon dioxide on the planet, and coincidentally one of Obama’s largest campaign contributors, was exempt from the new regulations.

OBAMACARE

Having already been ruled unconstitutional by federal judges in both Florida and Virginia, Obama has also been busy handing out waivers to over a thousand corporations, including McDonalds, a clear violation of the Equal Protection clause and proof that D.C. is now completely ignoring the rule of law.

OBAMA’S RURAL COUNCIL

Obama’s White House has issued a new executive order mandating the creation of a Rural Council,another step in the move towards a centrally planned economy.According to this new executive order, the Obama administration plans to stick its itchy little fingers into just about every aspect of rural life, writes the Economic Collapse Blog. One of the stated goals of the White House Rural Council is to do the following….Coordinate and increase the effectiveness of Federal engagement with rural stakeholders, including agricultural organizations, small businesses, education and training institutions, health-care providers, telecommunications services providers, research and land grant institutions, law enforcement, State, local, and tribal governments, and nongovernmental organizations regarding the needs of rural America.This is merely a euphemism for a new layer of bureaucracy set to suffocate rural America, with federal control freaks already implementing new draconian regulations to put a stranglehold on farmer’s markets and other forms of self-sufficiency.

OBAMA’S COUNCIL OF STATE GOVERNORS

Another White House executive order that creates a council of state governors who will work with the feds to expand military involvement in domestic security has stoked fears that the administration is stepping up preparations for martial law. Rather than elected representatives being in control of states, Obama has created a body of ten lapdogs who answer to the federal government and not the American people.
The order, which is entitled Establishment of the Council of Governors (PDF), creates a body of ten state governors directly appointed by Obama who will work with the federal government to help advance the synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States.The governors will liaise with officials from Northcom, Homeland Security, the National Guard as well as DoD officials from the Pentagon in order to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State governments,according to the executive order.
Conservatives and libertarians responded to the announcement by expressing their suspicion that Obama is preparing to give governors their marching orders in targeting anti-government types that have long been characterized as a terrorist threat by the feds in numerous reports stretching back over a decade.

INTERNET KILL SWITCH

The White House is aggressively advancing Chinese-style web censorship that would provide Obama with a figurative kill switch for the Internet, bypassing Congress completely as part of the federal government’s executive-level takeover of all communications.On every front, the Obama administration is entering the final stages of a total power grab that represents a clear effort to turn the country into an executive dictatorship, another stark indication that America is quickly beginning to resemble a decaying banana republic.

(SALEM, Ore.) - New information indicates that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder's actions are squarely behind the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) operation known as Fast and Furious, which orchestrated the delivery of almost 2,000 weapons to Mexican drug cartels[1].Holder openly proclaimed his connection to the operation in April 2009 during a publicized speech in Mexico, then told a Congressional Committee in May 2011,I probably heard of Fast and Furious the first time in the last few weeks.[2]The ATF weapons smuggling ring involved the arrest of several government officials with the city of Columbus, New Mexico including the mayor and police chief, but that is all[3].They were apparently known from the beginning and the weapons deals with straw buyers were videotaped. Smuggled U.S. weapons from this operation, described as mostly semi automatic versions of military weapons like the AK-47, were found to be used in the shooting deaths of two U.S. federal agents.The new information, which is not really new at all, proves that Holder had to be aware of the U.S. government weapons smuggling operation planned and implemented by federal agents from ATF which he denied to Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) less than two months ago, as detailed below.

Background on Fast and Furious Gunrunner Operation

As we have reported with the help of our Photojournalist Robert Plumlee, who is a former CIA asset, we know that around 1,800 weapons were funneled through the Chaparral Gun Store in Chaparral, New Mexico, and into the hands of the murderous cartels. As referenced, the gun shop was directly tied to the mayor, police chief and city council of Columbus, New Mexico, a town famous for the Pancho Villa border raids a century before[4].Weapons from the ATF Gunrunner or Gunwalker scheme as it came to be known, were recovered from the desert where U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry died in a shootout with cartel members. A U.S. gun that allegedly was smuggled into Mexico from Dallas, Texas, was used to murder an Immigration Customs Enforcement Agent named Jaime Zapata[5].Considering how big of a problems guns and violence already are in Mexico, it should be a mystery how this U.S. / Mexico weapons smuggling program was ever launched, and according to Holder's earlier testimony, included in our report, Feds Call Meeting with Journalist Who Reported Human Remains and Cartel Weapon Build up with U.S. Ties, it is a mystery[6].This is official sworn testimony from Holder, the video is transcribed.House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa grills Attorney General Eric Holder over Failure and tragedy of Operation Fast and Furious.Issa: When did you first know about the program, Fast and the Furious? Holder: I'm not sure of the exact date but I probably heard of Fast and Furious the first time in the last few weeks.Issa: How about the head of the Criminal Dept. Lanny Brewer, did he authorize it? Holder: I'm not sure whether or not Mr. Brewer authorized it, you have to understand in which the department operations, although there are operations this one has gotten a great deal of publicity.Issa: Yeah there are dead Americans as a result of this failed and reckless program. so I would say that it hasn't gotten enough attention, has it Mr. Attorney General? Holder: Not exactly, there is an investigation that is underway You'll have to look at that to see what exactly in regard to...Issa: But Mr. Attorney General...Holder: ...I take very seriously, the allegation...Issa: Mr. Attorney General, do you take seriously... Issa: Mr. Attorney General, isn't it true that those cases that will go to trial in June... We have very limited time, sorry, those cases are basically a bunch of meth addicts who did the buying, that you do not have what this program was supposed to produce, you don't have the kingpins, you don't have the places it went, what you have are the people you already had on videotape many, many months before indictments were brought, isn't this true? Holder: There are cases that are important that we are tying to bring that we want to try successfully and they are part of a scheme they are part of a scheme. You can't look at an individual case as an individual matter and think it's unimportant because small cases lead to larger ones. Issa: We're looking at you, straw purchasers, we're looking at you, and you're key people who knew or should have known about this, and whether or not your judgment was consistent with good practices and whether or not, instead, the Justice Dept. is basically guilty of allowing weapons to kill Americans and Mexicans. So will you agree to cooperate with that investigation both on the House and Senate side? Holder: We'll certainly cooperate with all of the investigations but I take great exception to what you just said; the notion that somehow or another, this Justice Dept. is responsible for those deaths that you mentioned, uh... that assertion's offensive. and I want to tell you that...Issa: What if it's accurate? Holder: ...it is the policy of the Justice Dept. to make sure that we do all that we can to protect law enforcement agents, it is one of the reasons we have tried to look at a whole variety of methods and techniques we can use to protect the lives of law enforcement agents, it is something this country is not focused enough on.Issa: What am I gonna tell Agent Terry's mother about how he died at the end of a gun that was videotaped as it was sold to a straw purchaser fully intending and expecting it to end up in the hands of drug cartels?

Holder: Well, one; you know we'll have to see exactly what happened with regards to the guns that are at issue there. And... (pause) I've attended funerals you know. it's something that, you know it isn't theoretical, this is not political, it is extremely real for me as Attorney General...Issa: It is for us too[7] .An article published Friday, 8 July 2011, The Stimulation of Murder, by Investor's Business Daily, explained that A.G. Holder was, in spite of his denial, fully aware of the ATF's gun-running to Mexico operations, to the point that it was fully disclosed in President Barack Obama's Stimulus Bill.Right there in the stimulus bill that no one in Congress bothered to read is $10 million for Project Gunrunner (aka Operation Fast and Furious), which resulted in the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and increased drug cartel violence, the article stated[8][9].Attorney General Eric Holder's direct denial of knowledge of this as shown above, to Congress, could and possibly should be his downfall. Rather, as our experts emphasized, this is a problem that must be met as part of a comprehensive attack against the cartels – an attack in depth, on both sides of the border, that focuses on the leadership and assets of the cartel...[2]Special Agent Jaime Zapata was shot and killed outside of Mexico City, Mexico.He and another agent assigned to the United States Embassy and were traveling between Mexico City and Monterrey when they were forced off the road by 10 members of a Mexican drug cartel. The agents were in an armored vehicle with diplomatic plates and identified themselves as diplomats.The cartel members opened fire on them, fatally wounding Agent Zapata and wounding the second agent.Several members of the drug cartel were apprehended in Mexico and face charges in connection with Special Agent Zapata's murder.Special Agent Zapata had served with ICE for four years and had previously served with the United States Border Patrol for just under one year. He is survived by his parents and four brothers, two of whom also serve as federal agents. Source: ODMP Remembers;...As if the information isn't bad enough, one of our reporters who has spent the last three years working on the border, gathering information on the narco cartels, Robert Tosh Plumlee; blew the whistle on the gun walking operation known as, Fast and Furious by filing numerous reports to federal agencies and local law enforcement in May 2009 about these guns walking across the border. These reports were some seven plus months before Brian Terry's death in December 2010. Mr. Plumlee also reported a number of alleged bodies buried in the desert on the U.S. side of the border that officials in New Mexico, for whatever reasons, refuse to investigate. These bodies, mostly skeletal remains, have been fully photographed and documented with a GPS (Global Positioning System) located by Mr. Plumlee[6].

Also, as revealed in our recent reports, there are major stores in Mexico of what Robert Plumlee refers to as, 'high impact weapons' which include anti-aircraft guns, rocket propelled grenade launchers and mortars. These weapons are of U.S. origin, they are ample and they include the latest and most deadly, the same high tech weaponry currently deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. While not fully tallied, there are reported sites where thousands and thousands of these weapons exist, along with knock-off Mexican army uniforms[11].He made note of these weapons storage areas while accompanying a recently disclosed U.S./Mexican joint military force that has been battling the cartels south of the U.S. border since 2009. Even reports about this task force were vehemently denied by Mexico, and then later corroborated by a Wikileaks cable[12][13][14].Not only are we dealing with official, approved U.S. government weapons smuggling programs, undisclosed U.S./Mexican military anti-narco operations, and hardcore lies from the very top of the U.S. governmental structure; it also seems that there is an overriding motivator for destabilizing the U.S. southern border, and in essence extending the need for both the U.S. and Mexican wars on drugs[13][14][15].Many may ask, why now... why this? What possible reason would justify shipping weapons to 'trace' in Mexico that have no navigational or homing devices? For those who don't know, more than 40,000 people have been murdered in Mexico since the launch of Calderon's drug war.This is not to say that the Mexican President is not sincere. In fact by most accounts, Calderon is truly trying to help his country that does have a history of corruption, gain the upper hand over the cartels and end the rampant crime.As we suggested in the article, Is Los Zetas Military Cartel Planning a Bloody Revolution in Mexico?, the push is on for control of Mexico and Los Zetas, a cartel that began three years ago when its founders split away from the Mexican Army Special Forces, Los Zetas, is moving toward a full-scale revolution. Robert Plumlee believes the outcome of the 2012 Mexican elections will determine that outcome. Either way, the end results do not look good, particularly with major supplies of brand new U.S. weapons in the Zetas' control.

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot and killed near Rio Rico, Arizona, while attempting to apprehend a group of armed subjects. The suspects had been preying on illegal immigrants with the intent to rob them.Agent Terry and several other agents were attempting to arrest the group when shots were exchanged between the suspects and agents. Agent Terry was struck in the pelvis by a round fired by a suspect armed with an AK-47.The wounded agent was flown to a hospital where he succumbed early the following morning.Four members of the group were taken into custody and at least one suspect remains at large.Agent Terry was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had served with the United States Border Patrol for 3.5 years. He had previously served as a police officer with the Lincoln Park, Michigan, Police Department. He is survived by his parents, brother, two sisters, five nieces, and one nephew.

The connection is that long before Eric Holder was lying to Congress over the U.S. role in Border Patrol and Immigration Customs Enforcement agent's deaths tied to U.S. supplied weapons in Mexico, he was one of a lawyer for Purdue, at this dark point in their business history.In the article, Eric Holder negotiated an OxyContin settlement in West Virginia - working for Purdue Pharma!, Ms. Skolek reveals how Holder not only shielded Purdue over falsely advertising the drug Oxycontin which has led to tens of thousands of related deaths, but also how his actions in arranging a settlement actually allowed the drug to become the epidemic it is. That is serious.In 2001, West Virginia Attorney General Darrell McGraw Jr., filed a civil case against Purdue Pharma alleging that the privately held pharmaceutical company had engaged in coercive and deceptive marketing of OxyContin. He alleged that Purdue used misleading advertisements and had promoted the inappropriate use of OxyContin for minor pain. His lawsuit further stated that Purdue had offered doctors free trips to pain management seminars where the firm pitched the drug as safe and effective for treating minor pain – without mentioning the drug was supposed to be used only for severe pain and easily abused.McGraw also alleged that Purdue had told pharmacists that they can get in trouble if they do not fill prescriptions, even if they believe someone may be an abuser of the drug.The lawsuit was a big worry to Purdue because they had a lot to lose financially, and that is why they turned to Eric Holder, an attorney with Covington and Burling in Washington, D.C.As Marianne wrote in her article:The morning the case was to go to trial, in November 2004, Holder helped negotiate a settlement. Working in the judge’s chambers in West Virginia, he put together an agreement under which the firm would have to pay $10 million over four years into drug abuse and education programs in West Virginia -- and Purdue Pharma would not have to admit any wrongdoing! Eric Holder managed to keep the criminal activity of Purdue Pharma quiet since there would be no trial and no documents or testimony to be made public. Did Holder's hands in the pockets of Purdue Pharma allow this epidemic of OxyContin death and addiction throughout the country to perpetuate? Many people think it did [16].It seems clear that there are competing factions in the U.S. government and while there are positive motivations in some cases, there are other motivations that are highly detrimental to the future of both countries. Holder seems to be at the center of this.There are reports of cartels financing U.S. politicians who have ties to the pharmaceutical industry. There are extremely solid reports of caches of large amounts of weapons that are too vast to have fallen off the back of a truck.What is lacking is a direct trail on the campaign contributions. It seems AG Holder has demonstrated for the record that he is not willing to tell the truth when under direct examination, and also that he prefers to see companies like Purdue avoid legal responsibility. I don't know what could be more significant when dealing with a lighted fuse situation like the border wars raging along the border that divides the United States and Mexico.

Wings of Song, a new single by New York composer/lyricist Cecelia Margules, tells the story of a young boy who embarks on a journey involving different situations in life. During the process, the boy discovers that his journey is a metaphor of the Jewish people’s yearning for Mashiach.In a recent interview on COLLive.com, Margules said that one of her mentors was Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach of blessed memory, who had listened to her music.When I was in college, I remember Shlomo Carlebach going up on stage, all alone, with nothing behind except a guitar, and starting to play, she said. I was mesmerized. I loved his music.Later, Margules met Rabbi Carlebach and asked him if he would listen to her music. He told me immediately, It would be my highest honor, and made an appointment with me right away. I brought him to my house and he sat in my living room and he said to me one word: Play.Margules is a child of Swedish Holocaust survivors, and much of her music is an expression of the emotions and feelings her mother had expressed, which Margules then translated into music.

The survivors are not going to be here forever, she said,and I always imagine what happens when the last survivor dies and there’s no testimony. Even with the survivors alive today, we have all these people telling us that the Holocaust never happened.We have to be their voice, she added. We have to make sure that they are never forgotten, and the only way to do that is by telling their story over and over again, and remembering for posterity.Of Wings of Song, Margules said,It’s just a whole image of the entrance of the Mashiach with song. Mashiach represents all that’s good in the world, all that we want and all the positive aspects of the world. It represents our longings, our desires, our sentiments. It represents hope for a better world. It represents everything good that we want and that we aspire to.
She spoke in the interview about the role of women in Jewish music and said, What’s special for me is the fact that I was able to write the music, compose it (whether myself or with Rami Yadid) and express myself, and have it brought to life with the voice of various performing artists. The fact that I’m a woman and not really out there singing the music doesn’t bother me, but the fact that all these talents are singing it and bringing it to life is what gives me my satisfaction.It’s important for women today to be able to express themselves in this modern world and to bring their point of view across, and that’s what I hope I did,concluded Margules.

While some western European countries do not understand why Israel has failed to make peace with the Palestinian Authority, those living in the Balkans get it, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said last week, speaking at the beginning of a visit to Romania and Bulgaria.They have lived under tyranny, so they are more skeptical, they are much more respectful of a democracy arrayed against totalitarian forces, he explained. He later added, They understand what it means to be framed.Netanyahu expressed enthusiasm over Israel's policy, under Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, of reaching out to areas that were largely ignored by previous administrations. We are finding new partnerships, new alliances in places where we once invested little time, energy and resources,he told Reuters.Among the explanations given for warmer relations between Israel and Balkan countries is mutual problems with Turkey. Balkan countries were among the first to support Israel following the Turkish flotilla to Gaza in 2010, and Israel's ties with Greece have warmed as its ties with Turkey deteriorate, although leaders of both countries say there is no connection.While Balkan leaders have expressed support for a negotiated peace between Israel and the PA, Bulgaria recently refused to commit to voting against an expected unilateral declaration of statehood by the PA. Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said, Our categorical stance is that all sides should go back to the negotiating table... It has been stated with certainty, and history has confirmed, that America is a nation of laws and not of men. It was purposely designed that way by the Framers of our Constitution to protect individual liberty. Millions of brave men and women have paid the ultimate price to maintain that legacy. But oh how times do change when the people aren’t paying attention.George Sutherland, Associate Justice of the U. S. Supreme Court wrote: To give a man his life, but deny him his liberty, is to take from him all that makes his life worth living. To give him his liberty, but take from him the property which is the fruit and badge of his liberty, is to still leave him a slave.For far too many decades, government, at all levels in America, operating almost virtually unrestrained by the constitution and lobbied by socialists, radical environmentalists, corporations, bankers, unions and foreigners, has far exceeded its constitutional authority and has continuously assaulted or taken away man’s liberty ..... as well as his property.But, from time to time, even in a so-called free nation, one man will appear out of the shadows and claim that he is not only above the law, he is the law. Barack Hussein Obama is just such a man. He appeared virtually out of nowhere with a shadowy background, a foreign national as a father and a morally challenged mother. His only experience for the job as President was community organizing. With the skill of a circus barker or a snake oil salesmen, he claimed the presidency of the United States by duping a large percentage of a naive electorate with slick oratory and outright lies, distortions and propaganda. With the help of a hopelessly corrupt news media, he slid into the White House on a greased skid with virtually no challenger.

Upon assuming that high office, his real intentions became crystal clear. Within days, assisted by his willing accomplices, he would send America careening into the jaws of socialism and rush her headlong towards the steep precipice of national bankruptcy. Besides the numerous questions surrounding his shadowy past and potential illegitimacy under Article II, Section 5 of the U. S. Constitution, he has acted contrary to the interests of the United States and he has continuously violated his oath of office. If Congress won’t do his bidding, he simply uses the power of the presidency to issue Executive Orders to implement his will, or he issues a directive to one of the Secretaries of his Cabinet to promulgate a new law, thereby circumventing Article I, Section 1 of the U. S. Constitution. The Separation of Powers doctrine was broken by the actions of previous presidents, but more egregiously and blatantly shattered by this president. He, in effect, has become King Obama, fitting for an African nation.Based on our scrutiny and observations of what he has done, not what he has said, we hereby allege that President Obama hates America and what she stands for, is corrupt to the core, has colluded with others to gain more power, has engaged in racketeering to enforce policy or curry favors and has violated his oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, in overt acts of treason. As such he has violated the civil rights of every American under 42 United States Code (USC) Section 1983, wherein it states in part: “Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress ......This federal law specifically states, every person. This means that President Obama, a person, if proven guilty of these charges, could be held personally liable to every legal American for having acted, under color of law, with premeditation and malice, to deprive them of their rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, in his devious quest to fundamentally transform America into his distorted image of what America should be.

For almost 10 years we have tried everything imaginable to catalyze enough people to take up some meaningful, peaceful action against this government, besides waiting for every election cycle to materialize, in the hopes of replacing hopelessly corrupt and misguided politicians with no spine, by voting for the same or worse candidates. Wheels are spun, voices are raised and the beating of breasts continues unabated, from election cycle to election cycle, with no change in the direction of this country towards national suicide and ultimately, the enslavement of its people.
We haven’t been able to form an army-of-many in those 10 years, so we will become an army of one. It is with heavy heart and tired from many long years on this planet, that we are forced to take actions of our own against the president of the United States under 42 USC Section 1983, for the violations we have outlined herein. Within 30 to 45 days we will file suit against Obama personally in U. S. District Court. We will outline our allegations in detail in the complaint and upload a copy of the complaint to our website at Bringingdownobama.com. We are well aware of the politician’s defense of qualified immunity, but we intend that our allegations will be so strong, that they will meet the test to break the veil of this defense.We encourage other individuals and groups to file their own lawsuit against Obama under 42 USC Section 1983, in the closest U. S. District Court in their state. Perhaps we can win this war against rising government tyranny and the likes of a President Obama, by becoming a thousand armies of one, or of a few. Just think. If just a thousand Americans filed a lawsuit against Obama in U. S. District Court under 42 USC Section 1983, Obama and the rest of these corrupt politicians in government would have to take notice and you can bet changes would be made as they contemplate the thought of being next to be sued. Obama’s Petulant, Passive Aggressive Leadership Reveals a Fixed Adolescent Mindset - Kelly O'Connell Sunday, July 10, 2011 CFP

imageIs there any mindset which defines Obama’s default attitude better than to say it is simply adolescent? No, for the following reasons. Barack’s interactions with the real world evokes from him responses which can be described as: angry; superior, haughty, dismissive, dishonest, petulant, cocky, petty, vengeful, mocking, holier-than-thou, and full of faux-insights and dishonesty. In other words, Barack acts like a big kid pretending to be someone he’s not, everyday on the job. This is not only aggravating to observe, and depressing to consider, but worse—extraordinarily dangerous for a leader.

This article examines this disturbing pattern.
I. Passive-Aggressive & Delayed Adolescence
A passive aggressive person pretends to do good while sabotaging everything. It has often been remarked that Obama seems to be doing this very thing with his endless screwups and leftist beliefs. The psychological phrase Passive-Aggressive is defined by the New York Times as,Passive-aggressive personality disorder is a long-term (chronic) condition in which a person seems to actively comply with the desires and needs of others, but actually passively resists them. In the process, the person becomes increasingly hostile and angry.

Miriam-Webster‘s defines Adolescence:Adolescence:1. the state or process of growing up; 2. the period of life from puberty to maturity terminating legally at the age of majority; 3. a stage of development (as of a language or culture) prior to maturity.
Adolescence is actually rampant today amongst adults. It is especially common amongst those who grew up without a stable home, and therefore missed out on a normal childhood. One writer explains our commonplace adolescent culture in the West today: Adolescent Culture - The Marks of Adolescent Culture.What are the marks of a culture with a dominant adolescent mindset? Demand for immediate gratification. We want what we want now, and we will not wait or work for it.Absence of long-term thinking about life and the world. Demand for immediate gratification is a distraction from real issues. Our culture is largely ignorant of economic theory, political distinctions, or the rules of logic.Motivated by feeling rather than truth. This is a key indicator of a volatile person, and an even more significant indicator of a failing culture.Wanting grown-up things without growing up. Ironically, despite our addiction to all things adolescent, we still expect to be treated like adults.Expecting bailouts rather than accepting consequences. Not thinking before acting is a trait of adolescence as is making excuses.Focusing on appearance rather than depth. Cultures that choose style over substance quickly become silly cultures. Neil Postman discusses this in Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business. Silly cultures are easily deceived and destined for tyranny. History proves this.

II. Passive-Aggressive Traits

Dr Scott Wezler explains this behavior in his book Living with the Passive-Aggressive Man: Coping with Hidden Aggression - From the Bedroom to the Boardroom. Wezler explains the following traits are associated with the Passive-Aggressive (P/A) male:Fear of Competition: Feeling deep inadequacy, P/A males refuse to compete with others whenever possible. He takes the roles of self-sabotaging wimp with a pattern of failure, or tyrant, claiming to be unassailable and perfect, to eliminate any threats.Obstructionist: A P/A man will agree to work with you, but won’t say when he will do a job, then deliberately foot-drag to frustrate others. He blocks any real progress to finishing.Fostering Chaos: The P/A man prefers leaving puzzles incomplete and jobs undone.Playing the Victim: The P/A man complains about others instead of owning up to his own misdeeds. He remains above reproach by insisting he is the innocent victim of unwarranted criticism.Excuses & Lies: The P/A fabricate excuses for not fulfilling promises.Procrastination: The P/A man believes deadlines don’t exist for him.Chronic Lateness/ Forgetfulness: An infuriating & inconsiderate of all P/A men is an inability to arrive on time. Selective forgetting is used when he wants to avoid an obligation.Ambiguity: Master of mixed messages & fence sitting, you’re never sure where he stands.Sulking: Feeling put upon when unable to perform, the P/A man retreats from pressures by sulking, pouting and withdrawing.

III. Barack’s Top Ten Passive-Aggressive Acts & Tendencies

A. Blaming Others

Barack might have a JD in law, but he’s also earned an honorary PhD in Blame-ology. As a certifiable adolescent could be expected to do, he has never seemed to take any responsibility for the long list of things which did not work out as he advertised beforehand, such as the Stimulus spending.

B. Bailouts

The financial bailouts by Barack, aided by George W, are a classic case of adolescent values promoted by needless fearmongering. No one knows whether America was about to collapse economically when Barack took office. But we do know that bailouts always kick the can down the road and make sure someone else must pay for the hard steps needed to deal with bad situations. Capitalism is predicated on efficient businesses surviving while others fail. Obama’s approach means he simply, and childishly, refuses to accept how the world works. So the unhealthy businesses are paid to survive with the healthy ones, meaning the whole herd gets sicker. By refusing to accept reality, it means the final result will be much worse for everyone.

C. Refusal to Lead

Time and again, when a crisis has arisen, Obama has stepped back and let others take the lead. When the Stimulus was called-for, he allowed Nancy Pelosi to craft the almost trillion-dollar bill without his direction. Predictably, it failed to achieve its promise. Again, when the Iranians falsified an election, and the People rose and demanded democracy, Barack wilted like a discarded petunia. And remember when the Gulf Oil Spill occurred and Barack couldn’t wait to go golfing while others did the heavy lifting, while making sure unions did not suffer? Or how about our current budget debates, when the deficit talks were arranged, and Obama lurked in the shadows, finally emerging to make irrelevant and condescending comments to Republicans? Barack is either passive-aggressively avoiding the topic, or just as likely—ducking responsibility in his adolescent fashion. Either way, he’s about as relevant as horns on a poodle in the debate.

D. Deficit Keynesian Spending

Regardless the American issue, Barack’s singular answer has invariably been more spending. It matters not that US debt is heading towards $20 trillion as serious persons discuss default as a possible result. Is Obama’s perpetual spending a passive-aggressive maneuver to plunder America into default socialism, an adolescent refusal to give up on the Big Rock Candy Mountain, or all of the above? But how could spending! always be the answer when Barack doesn’t even take the time or effort to figure out what the real problem is, half the time?

E. Touting Islam Relentlessly

Obama’s one-track mind seems to only countenance Islam whenever the topic of religion pops up. Why? This makes no sense in the face of his supposed “Christian” identity. Perhaps his default, knee-jerk Muslim promotion is the result of a childhood of a boy who never grew beyond the childish, adolescent fixation with his absent father’s faith?

F. Pretending He Never Fails

One of the chief traits of the adolescent mindset is the fascination with being omnipotent and perfect. This is why adolescents love such comics as Superman, etc. Obama seems to enjoy nothing more than standing to pontificate upon topics he apparently has no depth of knowledge of. Further, he invariably presents his ideas as the only sane or acceptable choice against the Conservative’s monstrous position, an invariable bona fide straw man misrepresentation.

G. Demonizing Enemies

Obama doesn’t have political opponents. Instead he’s menaced by illiterate, fascist nutjobs who are not intelligent enough to find Kenya on a map. Possibly because Barack has no real belief in his own ability to win actual debates, he and his handlers pour much ammo into crippling such mortal foes as Sarah Palin and Michelle Backmann before they ever take the field. Let’s not forget, Barack won both his IL state and US Senate races after his opponents were forced to drop out, one by one.

H. Invading Libya

Obama ran for president on an anti-war platform. Fortunately for him, in a typically adolescent manner, Barack insists his attack on Libya is a non-war that needs no congressional approval. So he is still a pure, anti-war candidate for the next election, in his own mind.

I. Jobs

More than any other problem, America is suffering a crisis of a loss of revenue over jobs that have disappeared because of inept decisions, or purposeful government sabotage of the economy. Yet, Barack refuses to acknowledge, in his typically adolescent manner, that any decision he has ever made could even possibly damage the marketplace. Further, Barack has seemed to put literally zero effort into actually helping create jobs. In this sense, his passive-aggressive hatred of capitalism may be strategically aiding his adolescent sense of irresponsibility in breaking the back of the US economy to usher in a golden-age of American socialism. Is there any other possible explanation that makes a scintilla of sense after 2 years of BO dithering?!!

J. Love of Socialism

It is an adolescent trope that if only the good people gained office, all the “right” choices would be made for the poor, weak and disenfranchised. Only under such a delusion does a certifiably whack-job economics system like socialism or Marxism become tenable. Again, the childish desire to be seen as someone who always makes the right decisions while effortlessly doing good is one of the most destructive instincts in the history of democracy.

IV. Conclusion

Is it possible that all of America’s worst problems result from our inability to put adolescence behind us and especially Obama’s passive-aggressive desire to punish us into economic submission? Of course. But the real issue is whether enough principled American adults can stand up to Barack long enough to shut down his parade of nonsense, and put the US back on a track to fiscal, legal, moral, and spiritual health. Government of Sociopaths

imageIt’s politically risky to raise taxes. It’s politically risky to cut spending. The one thing that isn’t politically risky to do is go deeper and deeper into debt. Whatever agreement evolves or devolves out of congress it will likely allow Republicans to satisfy their base by cutting spending a little, allow Democrats to satisfy their base by raising taxes a little, and kick the ball down the road by going deeper into debt.The real subject of this is not Medicare or the Stimulus plan—it’s long term thinking.We did not suddenly go to sleep and then wake up the next day with a political class that acted this way. Or with CEO’s that act this way. The erosion of long term thinking is progressive. It begins slowly before becoming pervasive.Lack of long term thinking manifests itself as a lack of responsibility. The difference is not in intelligence. Very intelligent people show no grasp of responsibility and no understanding of consequences. Stupid behavior by intelligent people is often a symptom of that. Sociopaths, who often have very high IQ’s, yet a poor understanding of consequences, are at the farthest limit of that category.What explains this behavior? Socialization and empathy. Sociopaths are often quite bright, but it is the company of other people that makes us fully human. Sociopaths are too detached from other people to be able to rationally calculate long term consequences in a social context. They understand rules in an abstract fashion, but they don’t internalize them. Because rules are socially internalized and given priority as higher truths over personal feelings only by an ego that has learned it is not master of the universe. A sociopath may be a physics professor, but if an impulse pushes him into a situation where the laws of physics are in his way, then they will be less valid to him than that impulse. The same goes for mathematics. The sociopath is irresponsibility taken to the extreme, but there is a long gradation on the way there.

What does a country run by sociopaths look like? It looks a lot like our own actually. Lots of short term fixes. Lots of ‘keep this thing running’ pragmatism. Short attention spans. No sense of responsibility. And no thought for the future.
This is the problem with filling a cabinet full of bright people who don’t understand responsibility or long term thinking. While their intelligence should allow them to solve most problems, the situations they are confronted with are social, not abstract. And they lack empathy for the people involved, any sense of them as individuals, and any real understanding that they will also have to live with the long term consequences of those decisions.To the Sociopath, most situations come down to, How Do I Make Person X Do What I Want.This sounds a lot like the Cass Sunstein theory of Nudges. The government acting as manipulator getting people to do what they’re being told, while making them think it’s their own idea is exactly what a sociopath would think of as a brilliant solution. It is a perfect illustration of a mind that is intellectually aware that people are individuals, but does not understand or empathize with it as a gut level.Of course we’re not actually a country run by sociopaths. For the most part. But it is run by men and women who display similar traits and blind spots.Let’s take a brief look at some of the behaviors and attributes used to identify a sociopath.Are they cavalier about the truth, and capable of telling lies to your face? Have they no apparent sense of remorse, shame or guilt? Is their charm superficial, and capable of being switched on to suit immediate ends? Do they enjoy taking risks, and acting on reckless impulse? Are they quick to blame others for their mistakes? Do they have no qualms about sponging off others? Are they sexually promiscuous? Would you regard them as essentially irresponsible?

Put bluntly, the behaviors which are common to politicians are also common to sociopaths. But the worst of these is irresponsibility. Without responsibility, there is no self-correcting mechanism. The experience of negative consequences does not lead to avoidance of the same behavior.For most people the sociopath is a tiger in the forest. But it’s a miscategorization. There are extreme cases, but there are also entire societies where the general population acts and thinks this way. Where empathy is an alien notion, where doing whatever you please if you think you can get away with it is the norm, and where no one thinks in the long term. And we are slowly headed that way.In the late 20th century, an economic system built on hard work and inventiveness, was replaced with one built on temporary bubbles and salesmanship. A culture with thousands of years of moral and intellectual tradition, was forced to make way for one built on egotism and instant impulse satiation. A nation of few laws and many mores, was replaced with a nation of a million laws and few mores. Which economic system and culture looks more like a sociopath habitat, the one we had before or the one we have now? That isn’t to say that we are sociopaths—but our political and economic systems, and culture are being transformed to accommodate them.The medically diagnosed sociopath who lacks empathy and only manipulates people represents an extreme. But a society becomes untethered from its codes, it loses the ability to meaningfully socialize its own children. The breakdown of moral codes eventually leads to a breakdown in empathy. In a multicultural society where there are fewer kinship ties, this is even more devastating.Feelings of hollowness abound. Anhedonia becomes a common complaint. Many people feel that they should be helping others, but they’re not sure how to go about it. A vague sense of guilt drifts over them. Unlike a sociopath, they experience the detachment, but their attempts to compensate for it by getting beyond their egos and meaningfully connecting with others is limited by a larger social breakdown.

Worsening symptoms leave them even more detached. They use “I” often. Everything that happens is processed through their own experience. Everything becomes about themselves. Celebrity becomes a consuming craze. They feel driven to be witnessed by other people, otherwise they feel unreal. The truth becomes a mutable thing to them. They recreate it at every turn and forget that they have done it. Nothing is their fault anymore. Nothing at all.Finally there is a stage so near that of the sociopath that it hardly makes any difference anymore. Long term consequences vanish. Everything takes place in the present. Reality is infinitely mutable. They have no patience for obstacles. Life to them is a game. And they are determined to win it. The answers to everything seem clear, and do not require any reality testing. Everything either exists to accommodate them, or it shouldn’t be allowed to exist at all.This a progression of detachment. It is what happens when a culture begins to come apart. And it’s all around us. It is why we lack leadership so badly. An imploding culture adamantly hates and opposes the virtues of leadership. When it sees them, it tries to destroy them. True leadership derives from understanding people and relying on them to respond to the implicit code by which the leader acts. The leadership of a government of sociopaths on the other hand is impulsive, it prides itself on juggling rules to avoid being caught by them. It thinks that principles and those who hold them are dangerous. And it views long term thinking as an obstacle in the way of its bright and beautiful plans.
