Your first Ontario Sales Tax Transition Benefit payment is part of Ontario's plan for jobs and growth,which includes tax cuts and credits and the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).

Did you know?

-Ontario's tax changes and the HST will help create nearly 600,000 more Ontario jobs over the next 10 years.
-About 83% of consumer purchases will see no new tax under the HST.
-Items like basic groceries,prescription drugs and municipal public transit will be exempt from the HST.
