8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

PSALMS 83:3-5
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

Hamas Authority declares war Orders security forces to repel IDF incursion,Ryan Jones,July 07, 2006

Israeli officials were hesitant to admit it, but the Hamas rulers of the Palestinian Authority openly declared war on Israel Thursday when they ordered their own security forces to engage IDF soldiers operating against terrorist groups in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip.PA Interior Minister Sayid Siam announced a high state of alert among forces in Gaza, and called on his troops to prepare to repel the Israeli attack in Gaza, reported Ynet.Palestinian interior and national security spokesman Abu Hilal followed up by confirming PA security forces had been given clear orders to open fire on Israeli soldiers.

The statements marked the first time senior PA officials had openly ordered their forces, who were armed by Israel and the West under the Oslo peace agreements, to turn their weapons on Israel.Moderate PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas reportedly refused to respond to the orders issued by the Hamas regime.Israeli cabinet minister Eitan Cabel told Ynet the Olmert government was taking the threat seriously, and was confident the IDF will be prepared and capable of defending itself. There's no doubt that this declaration is an escalation of the situation. IDF forces will respond correctly to anyone who opens fire at them.

Another senior diplomatic source said no one should be surprised by this latest development. The Palestinian government is a terrorist government and we do not expect a terrorist government to act differently. For the sake of logic, it's worth saying that Hamas as remained Hamas, a murderous terrorist organization. This does not surprise us.Likud Knesset Member and former foreign minister Silvan Shalom said Siam "must be marked for targeted assassination as a first class terrorist.

LUKE 21:25-26
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Stormy weather kills at least 30 in China By ELAINE KURTENBACH, Associated Press Writer Thu Jul 6, 3:36 PM ET

SHANGHAI, China - Torrential rains and a tornado killed at least 30 people as storms battered eastern China this week, with millions more affected by flooding and other storm damage, state media and officials said Thursday. Twenty-seven people were
reported dead in Jiangsu province west of Shanghai, and about 40,000 were evacuated, said Li Qiubao, an official of the Jiangsu Civil Affairs Bureau. Newspapers showed residents using makeshift rafts to ferry through flooded streets.A tornado also smashed through the town of Dafeng in Jiangsu, killing three people, the official newspaper China Daily reported.

In neighboring Anhui province, another three people were killed, the China Daily cited Wang Haili, a local Civil Affairs Ministry official, as saying. It gave no details on the deaths.Wang said at least 44,400 people were displaced along the flood-prone Huai River. In total, more than 13 million people were affected by the storms, the reports said.At least 349 people died in China last month due to
flooding, landslides and other weather-related disaster, the government said. The official Xinhua News Agency said that another 99 people were still missing, while damage was estimated at $2.5 billion.China suffers hundreds of rain deaths every summer.

The impact of flooding has been worsened by heavy farming and tree-cutting that has left cleared hillsides unable to trap rain. Major cities are shielded by flood dikes but small towns, especially in mountainous areas, are vulnerable to deadly flash floods.China is expected to suffer from more typhoons than usual this year due to an unusually warm current off its Pacific and high temperatures over the Tibetan plateau.

2 PETER 3:10-11
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

NUCLEAR WEAPONS WILL BE USED.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

ZEPHANIAH 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Taiwan to test-fire missile: report
Jul 6, 5:08 AM (ET)

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan plans to test-fire a missile capable of hitting China, alarming the island's main ally, the United States, a cable news network said on Thursday. The Hsiung Feng III, developed by Taiwan's Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology, has a range of 600 km (360 miles) and is accurate to within half a meter, the online edition of cable news network ETTV
(http://www.ettoday.com) said, quoting unnamed military sources.

That range would put areas along China's coast from Fuzhou in Fujian Province to Nan'ao in Guangdong within striking distance of the missile, the Web site said.A defense ministry spokesman declined to comment on the report when reached by telephone. A spokeswoman for China's Foreign Ministry also declined to comment.China, which has claimed sovereignty over Taiwan since their split in 1949 at the end of the Chinese civil war, has deployed nearly 800 short-range ballistic missiles aimed at the self-ruled island in case it formally declares independence. Taiwan successfully test-fired the missile last year, local media have reported, and the Web site said the next test was planned for September.

The United States, which recognizes Beijing's one China policy but is Taiwan's major supplier of arms, had expressed its concern to the Taiwan government, the Web site said.North Korea acknowledged for the first time on Thursday that it had launched several missiles, vowed to carry out more tests and threatened to use force if the international community tried to stop it.
