EARTH WORSHIP

DEUTERONOMY 17:3-4
3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

2 KINGS 23:5
5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

Analysis: Ontario green energy plan feels the heat
Reuters By Nicole Mordant | JULY 22,11

VANCOUVER (Reuters) - An ambitious plan to feed renewable energy into the power grid of Canada's economic heartland is under fire and could flame out altogether in the autumn, just two years after its launch.Ontario's opposition Progressive Conservative party, who are leading in the polls ahead of an October 6 election, has vowed to scrap a provincial program that pays above-market rates to producers of energy from sources such as the sun and wind. The goal is to generate 13 percent of Ontario's energy from renewable sources by 2018 and zero from coal by late 2014. The government says the clean energy sector has created more than 13,000 jobs and is on track to reach 50,000 by end-2012.Critics say the ratepayer-funded program is an expensive experiment that is increasing costs for consumers.Even if the so-called feed-in tariff, or FIT, program dodges the political ax, it remains riddled with problems. Its roll-out has sputtered under the weight of bureaucracy, too few staffers to manage the crush of applications and legal challenges, industry players say.It is like opening up a great restaurant and just having one waiter and then blaming it on the people wanting to come and eat there, said Paco Caudet, general manager of Siliken Canada, a unit of Spanish solar panel manufacturer Siliken. We did expect some hiccups and uncertainties. But it is just way beyond what we expected. ... It is a great lack of planning,Caudet told Reuters.

Siliken opened an Ontario factory in May, two years after the provincial government led by the Liberal Party unveiled the Green Energy Act, intended to create thousands of clean energy jobs while the province shuts down coal-fired power stations.Five months later, in October 2009, it launched the FIT program, modeled on programs in Germany, Spain and Italy that turned those nations into big producers of renewable energy.Over the past two years, the province has signed or offered 21,000 FIT contracts to small, medium and large clean energy projects and lured investment commitments of C$20 billion ($21.2 billion).

POLITICAL UNCERTAINTY JUST ONE WORRY

The Conservative threat to scrap the program and the biggest investment commitment made under it -- a C$7 billion pledge by South Korea's Samsung C&T -- has rattled the industry even though the party has said it will honor existing contracts.Had the policies been certain and there'd been years to run on them, we would have spent more time developing in Ontario than we did, said Jeff Jenner, chief executive of Sprott Power Corp, a small renewable power producer. For others political uncertainty is less of a worry than practical issues such as the delays in hooking renewable energy systems to the grid. The longer it takes systems to hook up, the slower manufacturers' sales.Hydro One, the utility that manages Ontario's transmission network, earlier this year asked the energy regulator for a six-month exemption from the time requirements for connect small systems to the grid. It said the volume of requests had been well beyond its expectations.Since launching the microFIT program, an adjunct to the FIT scheme for small renewable projects, the Ontario Power Authority, the province's electricity planning agency, has received 27,000 applications as of the end of March. At the end of the first quarter, it had 220 megawatts worth of applications waiting for connection. The resources allocated within Hydro One and the OPA to implement this program are totally insufficient. They are saying the program is over-subscribed, and I am saying it is under-implemented,said Caudet. The OPA said it was working hard to sign up new supply and ensure Ontario has reliable and sustainable electricity. In the last two months alone, we've announced contract offers for over 800 mid-sized FIT projects, and 25 large-scale projects. All told, these project announcements represent over 2,000 MW of clean, renewable energy potential,it said in an emailed statement.Hydro One was not immediately available for comment.A series of unexpected rule changes to the FIT and microFIT programs have also drawn anger from the industry. These include a deep rate cut for small ground-mounted solar systems and a moratorium on the development of offshore wind power in February.

FULL SPEED AHEAD

A central element of the Canadian-born FIT scheme is a made-in-Ontario clause. It stipulates that between 25 percent and 60 percent of the equipment used to set up wind and solar projects must be made in the province. The provision is aimed at boosting jobs in a province whose manufacturing sector took a beating during the North American auto sector's collapse in 2008-2009 and is slowly recovering. It's under attack on several fronts. Japan, for one, has complained to the World Trade Organization that the measure is protectionist. A wind energy company owned by U.S. oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens is also threatening legal action under the North American Free Trade Agreement.Despite the challenges, the Ontario government is pressing ahead with its green energy plans, announcing new ventures and jobs almost weekly, partly as it enters electioneering mode. The biggest threat to the success of clean energy in Ontario and the creation of thousands of jobs is the ill-conceived pledges by opposition politicians, Ontario Energy Minister Brad Duguid said in an emailed statement. Some companies remain hopeful about the future of the industry not least because the Conservatives have said they want renewable energy to be part of Ontario's electricity mix, just not through the award of overly generous contracts.
We will replace the FIT program with a competitive and transparent process that gets energy for Ontario families at a price they can afford,Conservative Party energy critic John Yakabuski said in an email.(Editing by Frank McGurty)

U.S., Canada power grids ready for heatwave
ReutersBy Scott DiSavino | JULY 22,11

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Power grid operators in the U.S. Northeast and Midwest and Ontario, Canada, said they have enough power resources to meet expected high demand on Thursday as consumers crank up their air conditioners to escape a brutal heatwave.
Power usage this week has already been higher than the grids expected for this summer and set a new demand record in the Midwest but was not expected to break records in the U.S. Northeast or Ontario set in 2006 before the economic recession, the grids said.In the U.S. Midwest, the Midwest ISO said demand for power on Wednesday reached 103,975 megawatts, breaking the 12-state region's previous record of 103,246 MW set in July 2006.Power companies across the region said they had enough electricity to meet the demand, but warned heavy usage could stress some power lines and generating facilities, which could leave some customers in the dark temporarily. The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) issued excessive heat warnings and watches for cities from the Midwest to the East Coast with temperatures expected to top 100 degrees F in many places. The mercury in New York City, the biggest metropolitan center in the United States, was expected to reach 100 degrees F, which matches the record set on this day in 1991. The humidity meanwhile will make it feel more like 108 degrees, according to weather forecaster AccuWeather.com.Thunderstorms on Friday will break the heatwave in the Midwest, while the East Coast will have to wait until Sunday for temperatures to return to near normal levels in the upper 80s and low 90s, AccuWeather said.

CLOSE BUT NO RECORD

PJM, which operates the biggest power grid in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic and Midwest, forecast electric usage would peak at 154,300 MW on Thursday, which is much higher than the 149,000 MW peak the grid forecast for this summer but still below the 158,448 MW peak record set in August 2006.New York ISO, which operates the state's grid, forecast the peak would top 33,200 MW Thursday, which is higher than the 32,700 MW peak the grid forecast for the summer but still a little shy of the 33,939 MW peak record set in August 2006.In New England, ISO New England forecast demand this week would peak on Friday at about 27,400 MW, which is just below the grid's 27,500 MW peak forecast for the summer and the 28,130 MW peak record set in August 2006.In Ontario, the grid operator forecast demand Thursday would top 25,900 MW, which is much higher than the 23,500 MW peak the grid forecast for this year summer but still below the 27,005 MW peak record set in August 2006.One megawatt powers about 1,000 homes in the United States and Canada.Several utilities, including New York power company Consolidated Edison, have already asked customers to conserve power on Thursday to make it easier to keep the lights on and air conditioners humming for everyone. Some utilities and energy service companies have also activated their demand response programs, which pay customers to reduce usage during peak demand times when needed.Customers can reduce their power usage by turning up the air conditioner thermostat, turning off lights, elevators and other electrical equipment, and for those with backup generators on site, producing their own electricity.(Reporting by Scott DiSavino; Editing by Alden Bentley)

The absurdity of attacks on Walid Shoebat: An editorial opinion July 21, 2011 By Lee Kaplan By Lee Kaplan, analyst and commuications director

As more and more evidence emerges to prove CNN did a smear job against Walid Shoebat certain individuals persist in trying to discredit this man by claiming he lied about his terrorist background. The simple truth is Walid has not lied about his background and has been providing US law enforcement intelligence information for years that is valued by those in the know.If you want somethng to pass the sniff test, you should know that Walid Shoebat has been denied admittance to Israel or the Palestinian Authority and Canada for years because of his background in terrorism. If, as Shoebat’s opponents would claim he’s a phony or liar, then why would these governments deny him entry? Government intelligence agencies are privy to internal information that the average American never sees. For Walid to be denied entry to Israel he would have to have some type of record as a terrrorist that the amateur sleuths, bloggers and agents for CAIR do not have.Israel admits every creep from the ISM, even those who admit to working with and for terror groups abroad. A case in point is Huwaida Arraf, a co-founder of the ISM and flotillas and Paul LaRudee, another co-founder of the flotillas. Canada denied admittance to Walid after CAIR did a campaign to bar him from the county because they complained he was an ex-terrorist wanting to enter, and despite the fact he was entering to lecture against terrorism.Walid once told me.When I wasw a terrorist everyone called me a freedom fighter. Now that I speak out against terrorism and in support of Israel they scream I am a terrorist and should be barred from speaking. Go figure.Yes. Go figure.

The best example of the value of Walid’s work is the fact that Mosab Yousef is still conning left-wing Jewish groups that he is pro-Israel and then getting into US churches. A major controversy right now is Jewish funding of something called the Olive Tree Initiative in the UC college system which is also using California taxpayer money to send college kids to the West Bank to listen to anti-Israel propaganda dispensed by ISM activists and Arab speakers like PFLP supporter Mazen Qumsiyeh.Walid grew up with Qumsiyeh and even participated with him in lynching an Israeli soldier once. Then there is the case of Knesset member Ibrahim Sarsur. An Arab-Israeli parliamentarian, he lectures students in the OTI program that he is a loyal Israeli citizen. One problem: Walid translated a video of Sarsur speaking to Arab children inside an Israeli state school where he told them to grow up to kill the Jews and destroy Israel, that Jerusalem would be the next Caliphate.Regarding Yousef, the Son of Hamas, who Jewish groups in America still won’t recognize as no friend of Israel, but someone designed to get into the churches and urge peace by Israel no longer being a Jewish state, Walid translated him on Al Jazeera television. Asked by a caller on a talk show that if the caller had knowledge of a planned attack on a busload of Israelis, if he should contact the Israeli police, Yousef told him absolutely not, that that would betray the Palestinian revolution. Again, this was in Arabic and Walid was the only one who revealed this and translated it. The PLO/Hamas role in trying to de-legitimize Israel in the American mind includes getting Americans to thnk peace will be at hand if Israel isn’t a Jewish state but a new state of Palestine dominated by Arabs and particularly Muslims. To achieve this goal the PLO even set up SABEEL which is a Christian Arab group designed to use replacement theoology. It tours US churches getting Christians to accuse the Jews of Christian flight from Bethlehem when it is really due to Muslim attempts at hegemony in the region. So, Walid allegedly doesn’t have his story straight about bombing a bank 35 years ago where nobody was killed? He allegedly didn’t spend two weeks in prison for terrorist activities? This too, is usually second-hand information that is not true. Would these people prefer though that he had killed people before they would allow him to lecture law enforcement about terrorists and the mindset they grew up in, such as he did himself? The argument is nonsense.

Finally, our law enforcement officials are not total fools. If a guy with no real information or knowledge deigned to lecture them and charge fees for it, they would never use him. Walid was in fact asked for a repeat visit to South Dakota by Homeland Security because those who attended his lecture before believed his information helped them in their jobs. The hysteria coming from Walid’s enemies, usually people with personal grudges or from the Hamas front group CAIR should not be taken seriously by those of us concerned about fighting the War on Terror and protecting the people of the United States. There are so-called intelligence writers on the Web who really know little of what they speak about and/or only express opinions. Walid Shoebat is one whose experience growing up in a culture imbued with terrorism, someone who was recruited early on but had an epiphany and left it, is worth listening to. I urge anyone who questions this to read Walid’s books or visit his website at www.shoebat.com . CAIR should have been closed down years ago and the CNN report only shows the risk we take in allowing these militant Islamic front groups to continue to lobby within our shores. 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

EZEKIEL 7:19
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Euro leaders agree second Greece bailout and overhaul of rescue fund HONOR MAHONY 21.07.2011 @ 23:21 CET

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Following weeks of political and market turbulence, eurozone leaders on Thursday undertook radical steps to safeguard the single currency agreeing the beginnings of a European Monetary Fund and a fresh bailout for Greece.
With the one-day emergency summit representing something of a make-or-brake gathering for the 17-nation eurozone, leaders were quick to underline the far-reaching and credible nature of the agreement. For the first time, the politics and the markets are coming together, said European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso, with markets having to date doubted the fundamental commitment of leaders to saving the eurozone.EU council president Herman Van Rompuy said the deal proved we will not waver in defence of our common currency.Under the agreement, Greece is to get a fresh bailout, but with a lower interest rate (around 3.5%) and with a minimum of 15 years to pay back the loans. The total official financing will amount to an estimated 109 billion euro, says the final agreement.Pushed by Germany, the private sector will also be involved but eurozone leaders stressed several times that private sector contribution will be voluntary and will not be part of any potential future bailouts for other countries. There remains a question mark over whether rating agencies will view the deal as a default, having previously said they take a dim view of involving the private sector.German chancellor Angela Merkel indicated it was a risk she is willing to take. We all know rating agencies are going to take a close look at this. I can't prejudge their rating. But I think that for markets it's important to achieve sustainability and for that it's very important to have private sector involved.

European monetary fund

Eurozone leaders also attempted to put out potential future fires by agreeing an overhaul of the eurozone's €440bn bailout fund so that it can act pre-emptively.
Under the deal, which will have to be ratified by national parliaments, the fund will be entitled to help out countries with credit line before they get to the stage of needing long-term aid and recapitalise banks through loans to governments. This aid could also be supplied to countries not in a bailout programme, something that is not the case currently. We have agreed to create the beginnings of a European Monetary Fund, said French president Nicolas Sarkozy.Merkel, who forced Paris to back down on a proposed bank levy in return for giving new powers to the rescue fund, said the move was historic. What we are doing now is an example for deeper integration - handing over and transferring more competences to EU institutions. This is a historic day.Barroso, who on the eve of the summit said the history would harshly judge the leaders if they failed to reach a deal, urged them to defend and implement it with determination.Greek prime minister George Papandreou said the deal will mean (a) lightening of the burden on the Greek people whom he referred to as proud and industrious. While European stocks rallied when draft conclusions were leaked earlier in the day, some commentators were already highly critical of the deal.Sony Kapoor, managing director of policy group Re-Define Europe, said: EU leaders have missed the boat, yet again. The leaders pay lip service to the need for growth and investment in Greece but this is no Marshall Plan. The debt overhang will hurt growth and investment even as EIB and other EU funds seek to stimulate it.He also said the changes to the rescue fund were based on excessive conditionality with Merkel stressing several times that the enhanced fund will need unanimity from member states in order to act.

European Central Bank chief does not exclude Greek default VALENTINA POP Today JULY 22,11 @ 09:40 CET

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - European Central Bank chief Jean Claude Trichet on Thursday (21 July) said that he could not prejudge if ratings agencies would declare a selective default of Greek bonds, but noted that eurozone leaders have prepared for that event with €55bnn for bank recapitalisations and improving the creditworthiness of Greek government debt.Admitting that eurozone leaders had disregarded his advice on avoiding a selective default for Greece or any other credit event, Trichet however stressed that the leaders prepared themselves with the exact tools he recommended. He also insisted that the red line the ECB had set for private sector involvement in the second Greek bailout - that it be voluntary, not compulsory - had been respected by eurozone leaders. It would be the first time in the history of the eurozone that one member country defaults, prompting government assistance and forcing the ECB to buy up bonds with no market value, but secured by the EU bailout fund. Despite the leaders' reassurances that it is a one-off, this would create a precedent and may further spook markets when it comes to other euro-countries' debt and economic troubles. At the closing press conference, the outgoing central banker put a brave face on the situation with his institution having been repeatedly adopted measures it had previously rejected or warned against. We've said from the very beginning: It is you [leaders] who are responsible. But they've also ignored our advice when they didn't respect the Stability and Growth Pact or when we had called for stronger economic co-ordination and measures to boost competitiveness, he said.On the eve of the special eurozone summit, Trichet went to Berlin where German chancellor Angela Merkel had already been debating for hours with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on having banks involved in a second bailout for Greece.

The meeting lasted for another three hours, but in the end, Trichet accepted that private banks will be involved and that the ECB may have to buy up Greek bonds declared as defaulted by ratings agencies, as long as they are backed up by stronger and sound collateral from the EU's bailout fund, the EFSF.And in case of a 'selective' Greek default, eurozone leaders have foreseen two measures recommended by the ECB, sid Trichet referring to €20bln to be pumped into ailing banks and €35bn for improving the creditworthiness of Greek government debt.He said that eurozone leaders stressed clearly that the private sector involvement was a one-off due to exceptional conditions in Greece, and that this was as much as we could get so as to calm markets' concerns regarding similar measures for other bailed out countries, such as Portugal and Ireland. The decision to give the EFSF more flexibility in order to prevent contagion and help out countries before they even have to ask for a bailout was also strongly promoted by the ECB, as well as the growth-boosting measures for Greece and technical assistance from the EU and the IMF.But in the end the main issue is implementation and hard work done by Greece, Trichet said, once more stressing the need to for the Mediterranean country to sell its state-owned companies and assets, a programme Athens estimates to be worth €50bn.Privatisation is key and it is a big card in its hands, there isn't any other country with such big assets, the Frenchman said.Implementation as desired by the ECB still has a rocky way ahead, as the country's trade unions are carrying out one protest after another against the austerity measures and deregulation efforts of the Greek government.

For the fourth day in a row, Greek taxi drivers on Thursday blocked ports and airports on the islands of Crete and Corfu - both Meccas for tourists from all over Europe. The cab drivers are fighting a licensing overhaul which would make it easier for newcomers to compete on the market, a measure which is part of the reform package agreed in the EU-IMF bailout conditions.Tourism makes up 16 percent of Greece's GDP and the government had counted on a 10 percent increase in revenues from this sector this year.

Ireland and Portugal get lower interest rates on bailouts VALENTINA POP 21.07.2011 @ 23:49 CET

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Ireland and Portugal on Thursday (21 July) were given longer deadlines and lower interest rates to pay back their loans under their respective EU-IMF bailouts, but eurozone leaders made it clear that no private investors will be involved in their rescue, as it is the case with Greece.Similarly to Greece, both Ireland and Portugal will be given 15 to 30 years to repay their loans, as opposed to the current 7.5 year-deadline and their interest rate will be lowered to around 3.5 percent.Leaders however drew a clear distinction between the one-off private sector involvement in the Greek case and the other eurozone countries under an EU-IMF bailout, an attempt to stem the downgrading spiral by ratings agencies that both Ireland and Portugal have been drawn into.Saluting the robust response of the eurozone leaders, Portuguese Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho said that the new deal will allow Portugal and Ireland to see increased the conditions for success and calm markets. The recent downgrade to 'junk' status by Moody's ratings agency - both for Portugal and Ireland - was made because the agency feared the private sector would be involved in other bailouts as well.It was very important that the eurozone countries agreed that the Greek situation is unique and has no parallel in any other European country, like Portugal and Ireland, Coelho pointed out.Meanwhile, Irish Prime minister Enda Kenny welcomed having obtained the same loan conditions as his Greek and Portuguese colleagues. The conclusions of today's meeting of leaders mark a significant improvement in the programme of support and ultimately it reduces the cost of our debt, thereby lightening the burden on the taxpayer, Kenny told reporters at the end of the meeting. He estimated that the lowering of the interest rate by two percent should be worth the order of between €600 to €800 million a year.

Despite reassurances by Kenny that Ireland did not to make any concessions on its low tax corporate rates, the final conclusions of eurozone leaders note Ireland's willingness to participate constructively (...) in the structured discussions on tax policy issues. To International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde, the crucial element agreed on Thursday was that eurozone leaders decided to prop up countries under existing bailout programmes until they regain market access. This would open the way for further financial assistance down the line, possibly under a standby loan that the EU bailout fund would be able to give out under its new powers, modelled on the IMF.

Dora weakens to Category 1 hurricane off Mexico
JULY 22,11

MIAMI – Hurricane Dora has weakened to a Category 1 storm in the Pacific off Mexico, but nearby coastal areas are still on alert. Its top winds dropped early Friday to 90 mph (150 kph). A Tropical Storm warning was in effect for the southern Baja California peninsula, including resort-dotted Los Cabos.Dora continued to move gradually away from the coast, but waves generated by the hurricane battered shore communities. The foundations of a small lighthouse about 35 miles (60 kilometers) east of Acapulco toppled Wednesday. About 60 thatch-roofed restaurants on beaches in the area, around La Penitas and La Bocana, were damaged or swept away by the storm.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said the center of the hurricane was about 255 miles (415 kilometers) south of Cabo Corrientes.Port authorities in Los Cabos ordered a suspension of boat tours and other tourism services near the natural stone Arch, the city's landmark. Civil protection officials were preparing four shelters at elementary schools in case of any flooding. The fourth hurricane of the eastern Pacific season was moving northwest at about 9 mph (15 kph) and was forecast to stay offshore. Forecasters said it was expected to continue weakening Friday. In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Cindy posed no threat to land as it moved eastward even farther out to sea. Tropical Storm Bret has weakened to a tropical depression as it moved away from the Bahamas and stayed well off the U.S. Atlantic coast.

DHAKA, Bangladesh – Floods triggered by monsoon rains in southern Bangladesh have killed 6 people, displaced more than 10,000 and washed away shrimp farms close to the Bay of Bengal, authorities said Friday. The region's Matamuhuri and Bakhkhali rivers overflowed after five days of heavy rain and inundated about 200 villages, chief government administrator Zainul Bari said. The displaced have taken shelter in school buildings in the flood-hit district of Cox's Bazar, he said.He said flood waters damaged shrimp farms and paddy crops in the affected areas.Bari said government relief workers are handing dried food and clean drinking water to the displaced. Also Friday another government official Shafiq Mia said six flood-related deaths have been reported in the area, 296 kilometers (185 miles) south of Dhaka.

Dhaka's Ittefaq newspaper reported that flood waters swamped parts of a highway in the area disrupting road transportation. Many marooned people are using boats to go about.Monsoon floods are common in Bangladesh, a tropical delta nation of 150 million people.

OZONE DEPLETION JUDGEMENT ON THE EARTH DUE TO SIN

ISAIAH 30:26-27
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold,(7X OR 7-DEGREES) as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people,(ISRAEL) and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

MATTHEW 24:21-22,29
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake (ISRAELS SAKE) those days shall be shortened (Daylight hours shortened)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

REVELATION 16:7-9
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Massive, deadly heat wave spreads from Midwest to East By Barbara Goldberg – Thu Jul 21, 7:35 pm ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Sweating crowds on the East Coast and in the Midwest flocked to waterfronts and urban cooling centers on Thursday to escape a massive heat wave that has killed at least 22 people this week. The National Weather Service issued excessive heat warnings for wide swaths of the country's mid-section and East Coast, saying the combined heat and humidity could spike the heat index or real feel of the warmth to 115 degrees through Saturday.By early Thursday afternoon in New York City, the thermometer hit 91 but it felt more like 112, according to Accuweather.com.

Other cities watching their local heat indexes rise into the triple digits because of the oppressive mix of high temperatures and humidity included -- among others -- Tulsa, St. Louis, Buffalo, and Washington, D.C., according to the weather service. In Chicago, where a five-day heat wave in 1995 killed hundreds, the city endured a fifth consecutive day of abnormally high temperatures with the heat index hitting 110 in the early afternoon -- and forecasters warned the heat wave could continue into the weekend. In Oklahoma, where the heat has exacerbated a severe drought, Governor Mary Fallin said she planned to ease commercial vehicle restrictions to speed delivery of hay and other feed to cattle whose grazing areas have been destroyed by the weather.Fallin said she would amend an existing drought-related emergency declaration she issued earlier this year to allow hay-haulers to operate bigger trucks with heavier loads on the state's roads. We have cattle that are starving, Fallin told Reuters, and we have certain areas of the state where we need to get the hay delivered to the farmers and the ranchers and the cattlemen. With the promise of refreshing ocean breezes, Boston's whale-watching ships and high speed tourist boats sold out their trips by mid-morning on Thursday.Cooling centers in Richmond, Virginia, and New York City welcomed overheated residents and a truck labeled Water Fountain on the Go cruised Manhattan streets, offering to refill empty water bottles to keep residents hydrated.Con Edison expected scattered outages in coming days amid an anticipated all-time high in electrical demand in New York, said utility spokesman John Micksid.Unhealthy smog levels triggered by the heat were reported in Chicago, where residents were asked by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency to reduce polluting activities such as idling cars and mowing lawns.By the weekend the heat was expected to cover nearly 50 percent of the country and impact nearly half the population, according to AccuWeather.com forecaster Mary Yoon. What makes this heat wave so impressive is the pure size and longevity, said Yoon.

Through the rest of this week and into the weekend at least 15 states starting from the Southern Plains and Midwest and much of the Northeast will witness 90 degree plus temperatures with high humidity, she said.Longstanding records in Philadelphia and other cities may melt away by Friday, when the mercury was expected to spike, according to meteorologist Meghan Evans of AccuWeather.com.Do not take this threat lightly, the NWS warned in a statement on its website, noting the extreme temperatures are particularly dangerous for the elderly and the very young. The length of this heat wave will pose a very real and dangerous health risk to these at-risk groups and those that do not have access to air conditioning. The low pressure system that barreled east was expected to bring powerful thunderstorms with hail to New England, forecasters said.In the central United States, where the high temperatures have killed nearly two dozen already, more deaths were tied to the heat.

An elderly woman whose body was found in her bedroom in St. Louis, where a working air conditioner had not been turned on despite 99 degree temperatures, was determined on Wednesday to have died of heat stroke.Similar causes of death were reported Thursday in Kansas City, Missouri, where a woman in her early 80s died, and in Hutchinson, Kansas, where three elderly people were found dead in their separate homes on Wednesday.Of those who died in Hutchinson, one had a ceiling fan and another, a 76-year-old man, an air conditioner. He had an air-conditioning unit in the window but didn't use it because he didn't want to pay the electric bill, said Hutchinson Police Sergeant Thad Pickard. Two people died from the heat in an Illinois county near the Mississippi River on Wednesday, St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone said on Thursday. They were identified as Willie Gill, 72, of East St. Louis, Illinois, whose body was found dead of heat stroke in a ditch near his home; and Kevin Miller, 51, of Belleville, Illinois, who was found dead of a heat-related heart attack on his front porch, which faced westward toward the setting sun.
Temperatures in the area, which is about 15 miles east of St. Louis, reached 100 degrees on Wednesday and again on Thursday.(Additional reporting by Bruce Olson, Lauren Keiper, Kevin Murphy, Karin Matz, Colleen Jenkins and James B. Kelleher; Editing by Greg McCune)

16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Israeli PM turns to Arab TV in call for peace
APBy ARON HELLER - Associated Press | JULY 22,11

JERUSALEM (AP) — With a September deadline looming, Israel's prime minister turned to the Arabic media Thursday for the first time since taking office two years ago in an attempt to lure the Palestinians back to peace talks, saying everything is on the table.Benjamin Netanyahu's interview with the Al-Arabiya satellite channel reflects Israeli concerns over Palestinian plans to seek U.N. recognition of their independence this fall. But it also highlights Netanyahu's new strategy of engaging directly with the Arab public.Netanyahu has fielded questions from Arabs before on YouTube and even made a recorded plea to Arab viewers to submit questions. But the face-to-face Al-Arabiya interview is his first of its kind. Netanyahu's office called the move the beginning of a new era and promised more such interviews in the near future. The interview, which aired Thursday evening, comes as Israel is scrambling to counter the Palestinian U.N. initiative this fall. Israel fiercely opposes the move, saying a Palestinian state should be formed through negotiations and not by unilateral steps.Peace negotiations have been stalled since 2008, and the Palestinians have refused to negotiate while Israel continues to build homes in Jewish settlements.Although the vote will be largely symbolic, the Palestinians hope to isolate Israel and put pressure on it to make concessions. In the interview, Netanyahu says he is willing to negotiate anywhere and with anyone who accepts Israel's right to exist.Everything is on the table. But we need to get to the table, Netanyahu said.I'm prepared to negotiate with President Abbas directly for peace between our two peoples right now. We can do it here in my home in Jerusalem, we can do it in Ramallah, we can do it anywhere,he said.

Netanyahu said he realized he would have to make difficult compromises for peace, but he offered few new details about his plans. The Palestinians seek all of the West Bank and east Jerusalem — areas captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war — as parts of a future independent state. Netanyahu has said he wants to keep parts of the West Bank, and he opposes any division of Jerusalem.Netanyahu also addressed the regional unrest in Syria and Egypt. You know anything that I say will be used — not against me — but against the process of genuine reform that Syrian people would like to see. We don't intervene in Syria but it does not mean we are not concerned. We'd like the peace and quiet on the Israeli-Syrian border to be maintained and I would like to ultimately, have that turned into a formal peace between Israel and Syria, Netanyahu said. I think the people, the young people of Syria deserve a better future.Netanyahu said he hopes the Arab Spring will result in democracies in the Arab world. If there's genuine democracy in the Arab world, in the Arab countries, then there will be genuine peace. Because a genuine democracy reflects the desires of the people, and most people Arabs, Jews, anyone they don't want their sons and daughters dying on battlefields. He said, If it goes toward an Iranian-style dictatorship, as it did, unfortunately in Iran and in Lebanon, then it's bad. It's bad for the peoples there, but it's also bad for peace.Ofir Gendelman, Netanyahu's spokesman for the Arab media, said Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya was chosen as a conduit for Netanyahu's outreach because it is a professional station that reaches 40 million Arabs. He refused to discuss why Al-Jazeera, the top-rated Arab media outlet, was not selected. Al-Jazeera's coverage has been accused of stirring up anti-Israel sentiment on the Arab street.Gendelman said Netanyahu's office also communicates with the Arab world via Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. There are a lot of issues the prime minister wants to address,he said. The goal of the interview is twofold: to convey the message that he wants to resume negotiations and express via the interview how important Arab public opinion is to him.Israel's most pressing concern at the moment is what happens in September. No one knows exactly how the vote will unfold. The United States opposes the plan and, as one of the five permanent members of the Security Council, could veto a Palestinian membership request and derail the process.

If that happens, the Palestinians could go to the General Assembly and seek recognition there as a nonmember observer state, a largely symbolic nod. Still, widespread support in the General Assembly would signal that a majority of countries support Palestinian statehood in the pre-1967 lines. The Palestinians insist that their U.N. bid does not rule out a return to negotiations.Palestinian leaders have called on their people to take to the streets in nonviolent protests in September and Israeli officials are concerned that these could spiral out of control and set off a new round of fighting.Israeli Cabinet Minister Moshe Yaalon dismissed these concerns Thursday, telling foreign reporters that he can't see any change on the ground after September. He called the unilateral option one of the balloons inflated in the last two years by those who thought we might be threatened.Yaalon, a former military chief, also rejected the argument that the current status quo is untenable.
The situation is not sustainable? It's sustainable. It's not going to be solved in the near future. We can live with it. We can survive with it,he said.

NUCLEAR WEAPONS WILL BE USED.

PSALMS 97:3
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

REVELATION 14:18-20
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city,(JERUSALEM) and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.(200 MILES) (THE SIZE OF ISRAEL)

ISAIAH 66:15-18
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

ISAIAH 26:21

6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:(FROM FRIGHT)
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.(Christians have new bodies, this is the people against Jerusalem during the 7 yr treaty)(Christians bodies are not being eaten by the birds).

MATTHEW 24:37-51
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

AP Exclusive: Iran prez said pushing for nukes
APBy GEORGE JAHN - Associated Press | JULY 22,11

VIENNA (AP) — Iran's president wants to shed the nation's secrecy and forge ahead openly with developing nuclear weapons but is opposed by the clerical leadership, which is worried about international reaction to such a move, says an intelligence assessment shared with The Associated Press. That view, from a nation with traditionally reliable intelligence from the region, cannot be confirmed and contrasts with assessments by other countries that view Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as relatively moderate on the nuclear issue compared to the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.Attempts to interpret Iran's goals are important because as it expands uranium enrichment, it is moving closer to being able to make a nuclear weapon by the day, even as it asserts that it is not interested in such arms and its programs are geared only to making reactor fuel.

A U.S. official cited one assessment he has seen suggesting Ahmadinejad may be more moderate — more open to talks with the international community on resolving nuclear concerns than Khamenei. He asked for anonymity because his information was privileged. But a blunt comment by Ahmadinejad last month raises questions. While repeating that Iran does not want nuclear arms, he openly reinforced its ability to make them, telling Iranian state TV that if we want to make a bomb, we are not afraid of anybody. That defiant statement fits the scenario laid down by the intelligence assessment shared with the AP, depicting Ahmadinejad as wanting to move publicly to develop a nuclear program.Ahmadinejad is pushing to shake free of the restraints Iran has imposed upon itself, and openly push forward to create a nuclear bomb, says the assessment shared with the AP. But Khamenei, whose word is final on nuclear and other issues, wants to progress using secret channels, due to concern about a severe response from the West, says the report. The varying views reflect the difficulties that intelligence agencies face when probing a secretive nation that plays its cards close to its chest. Lines of division are murky. Alliances shift and positions change, leaving governments and private analysts frustrated as they try to nail down Tehran's nuclear end game. They converge, however in noting that recent political divisions between Ahmadinejad and Khamenei have spilled over to encompass Iran's nuclear activities to a greater degree than before. While much about Iran's nuclear program is opaque, the growing capacity — if not the intention — to make weapons is on the record, captured in International Atomic Energy Agency reports documenting the expansion of Iran's enrichment program from its clandestine beginnings more than a decade ago to one that has produced enough material for more than two nuclear bombs.

More recently Iran has begun enriching to higher levels that would lessen the time needed to make weapons-grade material. And its stonewalling of an IAEA probe based on U.S. and other intelligence of secret work on components of a nuclear weapons program is adding to concerns raised by Tehran's refusal to freeze enrichment despite U.N. sanctions.Intelligence reports of tensions between Ahmadinejad and the ruling clerics are in line with other signs showing Ahmadinejad at odds with Khamenei with less than two-years to go into his presidency. In recent months, Ahmadinejad apparently fired — and was forced by Khamenei to reinstate — his interior minister in what some analysts see as a rebuffed attempt by the president to eliminate rivals to candidates he would like to see in positions of power, once his second and last term ends in 2013. That prompted an outburst of public criticism and led rivals in parliament to start proceedings that could in the most extreme case lead to impeachment.Reports of disagreement on nuclear issues predate that dispute, but some officials from member nations of the Vienna-based IAEA see tensions over the future of the nuclear program sharpening.Proliferation expert David Albright of the Institute for Science and International Security says his briefings from European government officials who have seen the latest U.S. intelligence assessment on the Islamic Republic seem to support the assessment shared with the AP that Khamenei is worried about how the world would react to a nuclear-armed Iran. There is a lot of caution in the regime about the implication of building nuclear weapons, says Albright. Asked whether Ahmadinejad or Khamenei have been the most circumspect, he says the implication is that it was the Supreme Leader.
The leadership is worried about starting a nuclear weapons race and worried about the international impact, said Albright, naming reactions from regional powers Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey as that of greatest concern to Tehran. Both Egypt and the Saudis have indicated that they would contemplate acquiring nuclear weapons if Iran had them.

One theory voiced by government officials and private analysts is that Iran might be looking to reach the level just short of making nuclear weapons — but able to do so quickly if it feels threatened. That would fit in with Khamenei's reported cautious stance. In any case, Ahmadinejad seems to be further weakened by the dispute. That leaves the Revolutionary Guard — the military-industrial powerhouse that is increasingly asserting itself in most aspects of Iran's society — as a beneficiary says the intelligence assessment.Khamenei has decided to transfer engagement with the most sensitive parts of the nuclear program, including activity that can be used for nuclear weapons, from ... the group of scientists at the Defense Ministry, who are identified with Ahmadinejad, to a special body in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp.,it says. This, due to the increasing lack of trust the Leader has in people in sensitive positions, who are identified with the President. The summary interprets the apparent decision to give the guard greater say over nuclear issues as a boost to its quest to establish its status as a leading power force in the regime.George Jahn can be contacted under http://twitter.com/georgejahn

Two Koreas likely to meet to discuss nuclear issue: report Reuters By Jack Kim | JULY 22,11

SEOUL (Reuters) - The nuclear envoys of South and North Korea are expected to meet on the sidelines of an Asian forum in Bali on Friday in the first high level contact since tensions spiked on the Korean peninsula last year, a news report said.Wi Sung-lac, South Korea's nuclear envoy, and Ri Yong-ho, North Korea's vice foreign minister who handles its nuclear diplomacy, will meet for unofficial talks on the sidelines of the ASEAN foreign ministers meeting, Yonhap news agency said. The South and the North are holding working-level coordination, Yonhap quoted a government official as saying in Bali. If the meeting (by the envoys) is set, it will be formally announced. The foreign ministry in Seoul could not confirm the report.North Korea walked away from the six-way nuclear talks more than two years ago but last year called for its resumption. South Korea and the United States want discussions between the rival Koreas as a preconditions to the resumption of the full negotiations.A U.S. official in Bali who did want to be quoted said it would be the most consequential meeting between the two sides in some time.It will take some time to understand and fully digest what has gone on between the north and south.Tensions rose to the highest level in years when a South Korean navy ship was sunk last year in a torpedo attack killing 46 sailors. South Korea blamed the North but Pyongyang denied any role. The North shelled a South Korean island in November.(Reporting by Jack Kim; Editing by Jeremy Laurence)

Who will get the budget egg on the face, Democrats, Republicans, Obama or the American people? Posted on July 21, 2011 by LAURIE ROTH

So far I can feel the yoke dripping down my forehead and nose and that isn’t a good sign. The truth is America is getting drowned in a vat of rotten eggs with these absurd compromises and budget discussions all based on ridiculous priorities and lies. As you recall, our Un American President has threatened not to send out the social security checks to our seniors, saying there wouldn’t be enough to pay them if the House and the Senate wouldn’t come to an agreement by August 2nd. The people, especially our seniors aren’t stupid. Most know this is based on total fabrication and lies. There is absolutely enough money to pay our critical bills according to Treasury reports! The key here that most of these political morons won’t notice or acknowledge is key bills.I wrote about this last week. Here it is again for those of you who are being persuaded by our Drama Queen President’s lies. By May 16, 2011, we had brought in 1,333,454 trillion. By July 1st, just 3 months later our revenue had grown to 1,629,630 trillion. The difference and revenue was 296,176 billion.Quite interestingly, our critical bills add up to 270,151 billion, social security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, Federal workers wages and insurance benefits. Do the math. We even have 26,025 billion left to pay other stuff.

Why then is the GOP even talking about compromising even with a Democrat controlled Senate? Short term, long term, in between term deficit increase…..no, no and NO.
If Speaker Bhoener and the Republicans can’t get any of their reduction plans put in place, they must hold their ground since there is plenty of money to pay our main bills. Otherwise, they are forcing Americans into more tax increases and dipping us in more rotten egg programs that are a waste of national time and money.Obama is scared and planning to manipulate political points from this financial, debt ceiling crisis, apparently at the expenses of our seniors. Our Federal Reserve is talking with the treasury and they have plainly said that we will default and won’t be able to borrow any more money by August 2nd, if there is no agreement signed. They are in contingency planning mode right now. Gee, I wonder what that means? Martial law, forced taxation everywhere, God only knows.Remember, this debt ceiling crisis is only here because of greedy, stupid spending orgies by the progressive left and addiction by our leaders to money and power gone nutso. If the truth was really told to the American people about ALL the waste and redundant programs our political class and President are addicted to and protecting, you would not only storm congress and the White House with pitchforks and loud, angry voices, but find that we are spending over 1 trillion in total waste and fraud. How do you make a debt ceiling compromise based on total, fraudulent numbers and lies? First you get the liars out of the House, Senate and White House, then start telling the truth about our REAL debt and budget needs. I am exploring a Presidential run as a conservative Independent, nothing special, just a woman who has ideas and cares about her country. You can see all my ideas in my book out by the end of July, The People’s President Look for it first in www.amazon.com then your local book stores. My exploratory web site will also be up by the end of the month, www.laurieroth2012.com. Let’s raise the roof rather than the debt ceiling.

Boehner and Obama NOT Close to Deal
- Judi McLeod Thursday, July 21, 2011

When it comes to the big scoop, you just can’t beat talk show radio. In the last segment of today’s Rush Limbaugh show House Speaker John Boehner told the radio giant that contrary to all the rumors circulating, there is no deal on the budget talks that would see substantial spending cuts and seek future revenues through a tax overhaul. There is no deal now and there never was, Boehner insists.Even though heralded by the New York Times there is no deal. Boehner worried that we are entering unchartered territory in risking default, adding that Republicans had been trying to cut our debt and balance our budget.Told by Limbaugh that Americans are worried that the Republicans would cave in to the Obama regime with some sort of deal, Boehner answered It would have been nice if the Democrats had put a plan on the table but the president has refused.Boehner was adamant about there being no deal even as a New York Times story posted on the Drudge Report today made it sound like a slam dunk. The Obama administration has informed Democratic Congressional leaders that President Obama and Speaker John A. Boehner were starting to close in on a major budget deal that would enact substantial spending cuts and seek future revenues through a tax overhaul, Congressional officials said Thursday.(The New York Times, July 21, 2011).

With the government staring at a potential default in less than two weeks, the officials said the administration on Wednesday night notified top members of Congress that an agreement between the president and Mr. Boehner could be imminent. The Congressional leaders, whose help Mr. Obama would need to bring a compromise forward, were told that the new revenue tied to looming agreement to increase the debt limit by Aug. 2 would be produced in 2012 through a tax code rewrite that would lower individual and corporate rates, close loopholes, end tax breaks and make other adjustments to produce revenue gains.Limbaugh, at noon hour and Mark Levin, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST seem to be teaming up to produce the unvarnished truth for Americans largely disenfranchised by a mainstream media who seem to be promulgating the propaganda of an often scare-tactic driven government. With an estimated combined 28 million radio listeners between them, Limbaugh and Levin are closing in on the mainstream media keeping Americans in touch with what is really happening at the White House.Limbaugh + Levin ≠Obama will become Dictator, Michael Zak of the Grand Old Partisan website wrote yesterday headlines. What is Barack Obama’s endgame? What are his true intentions.? What does he really want? Yesterday, two radio titans predicted very bad things are heading America’s way. On his program, Rush Limbaugh said he thinks that President Obama will follow through on his threat and invoke the 14th Amendment as an excuse to raise the debt ceiling (that is, borrow money) without congressional authorization. On his program a few hours later, Mark Levin said that if Obama does that, he would be acting as a dictator.Barack Obama, Dictator of the United States of America? Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin think It Can Happen Here, wrote Zak.Limbaugh and Levin are the two of the most powerful names in talk show radio today. Their co-jointly closing in on the truth opens doors for Americans left in the dark by a mainstream media.Even with the mainstream media in his pocket, it will be more difficult for Obama to hype it with the two Big L’s closing in on the chase.Tune in on Mark Levin 6 p.m. tonight.
