THE COVID 19 SCAM RIGHT FROM THE BEGGINING BY FAUCI, THE MEDIA AND THE BIG DRUG COMPANIES.THE GREATEST SCAM SINCE SATAN DECIEVED EVE AND ADAM AT THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

THE COVID 19 SCAM RIGHT FROM THE BEGGINING BY FAUCI, THE MEDIA AND THE BIG DRUG COMPANIES.THE GREATEST SCAM SINCE SATAN DECIEVED  EVE AND ADAM AT THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

Is Omicron Another Lab Creation?

As for the nature and origin of Omicron, Malone says:

“It has the hallmark of a viral agent under tight genetic selection for evolution to escape the ‘vaccine’ responses against the receptor bonding domain. The question that is outstanding right now is — because this is so different from the other strains that are being tracked; it’s in its own separate little evolutionary branch — how did this happen? Why did this suddenly pop up with all these new mutations?”

understanding the truth around covid has become a very complex thing are there coveted lies that need to be unpacked there was an email sent to you from an executive at eco health alliance and this is one of the companies that funded some of the research at the wuhan and this email thanked you for basically saying you believed that the origins of the coronavirus were natural we've already discovered that a theory that it came from a lab has gone from being banned on facebook we had a video demonetized for precisely that reason and the relationship between big pharma and media their big advertising spenders probably prevents truth ever being correctly conveyed let's have a look at where we are now with coronavirus our social political narratives and are we being lied to on an enormous scale if they're lying about this what else are they lying about this theory about the lab the theory that a virus leaked from the lab in wuhan was once very much on the fringe of science but it's now certainly in the u.s being seen as a mainstream possible explanation for the pandemic how i see that is not that it sort of moved from the fringes into the mainstream i feel like it was initially quashed and denied primarily because it positions science awkwardly if sciences and progress are the solution to all of our problems then it's important that pharmaceutical companies and science more generally can be presented as the solution to the problem of coronavirus if science caused coronavirus by gain of function experimentation meddling in the lodge domain then our whole cultural narrative as science and progress as the driving force between human endeavor that starts to collapse and fall apart this is the fact checker at the washington post offering an explanation early efforts to spotlight a lab leak often got mixed up with speculation that the virus was deliberately created as a bio weapon one way to sort of quash that kind of speculation would be absolute transparency not repressing information because it wasn't convenient now i'll mention again a report in 2017 showed that with the exception of cbs every american major media outlet shared at least one board member with at least one pharmaceutical company that means there's literal physical crossovers between the media and pharmaceutical companies the same human beings furthermore drug companies spent five billion a year on advertising with these media outlets consider the amount of profits that pfizer are likely to make from the vaccines moderna was a company in a lot of trouble before these vaccines came about and johnson johnson are going to need every penny they make from the vaccines to pay for lawsuits coming about as a result of their talcum powder causing cancer and it does make me think if they can't manage talcum powder i don't know what i'm dealing with vaccines that made it easier for many scientists to dismiss the lab scenario as tin hat nonsense doesn't it make you think what other things that are being dismissed as in that nonsense are also potentially true doesn't it make you realize that what's necessary from the media is not a total line in accordance with their big partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and their relationships with government but to commit themselves to truth otherwise you can't trust them on anything with the exception of cbs every major media outlet in the united states shares at least one board member with at least one pharmaceutical company let me put that into perspective these board members wake up they go to a meeting at merck or pfizer then they have their driver take them over to meeting with nbc to decide what kind of a programming that network is going to air so of course there's a financial ties between the media and big pharma but deeper than that there are ideological ties the ideological tie that defines our timethat science and progress is what defines the human journey if science is not the solution to kovid but potentially the cause of kovid that reframes our entire narrative our entire strident march for greater and greater progress our reliance on big tech and big tech billionaires and geniai all of that suddenly has to be questioned because of this breach in the accepted narrative here in the country which saw the first coronavirus clusters the government has vigorously denied any responsibility for the pandemic the problem for the rest of the world is that the hunt for the origins of the virus has become so overtly political another perspective is that the media of course are highly partisan and that partisanship affects their objectivity even in areas where you wouldn't imagine that it ought to not even when not specifically talking about party politics the lab leak theory it says in the new york times was associated early on with republican china hawks given prominence by conservative publications and eventually picked up by the trump administration there was a self-reinforcing pressure among journalists who covered the story and twitter experts who were pined on it to put the possibility in the q anon box and leave it there well that shouldn't happen that makes me wonder what else is in the q a box that shouldn't be there also when you hear it explained like this the theory that it came from a lab was always circumstantially plausible given that the outbreak started more than a thousand miles from the bat habitat where similar viruses have been discovered but a stone's throw from an important laboratory studying coronaviruses was treated as pure conspiracising by mainstream news outlets and facebook content warning providers for too long i mean that is extraordinary isn't it like and kind of ridiculous and again makes you question what other motives are there other than reporting the news here is some information here is some information it's not just that it's not an open channel it's a channel that's blocked by all kind of interests and biases in fact increasingly it looks like truth is not even a component of course journalism has like a rich heritage and heroes in it you know like the watergate scandal and even more recently glenn greenwald nebuchadnezzar like incredible campaigns and exposes by people in that field and profession but more lately it's clearly become a tool for numerous cultural reasons i'm sure of the establishment the same new york times journalist says in the trump era there was an impulse to tell the reader exactly what to think lest by leaving anything ambiguous you gave an inch to right-wing demagogy well that's not right is it like the idea that that has to be done that you have to bleach away the possibility of contemplation don't you have any trust in people like that if you're right you just tell the truth and that's going to be enough like hey listen the trump folk are saying this thing and uh yeah it might be true actually but what's so terrible about that no it's trump everything's evil no it's wrong it's like you know now you've become the very thing that you are purportedly opposing editorializing lying propagandists and in this case an enemy of truth and a threat and danger to the lives of ordinary people it can take anywhere from three days to a full week before the media reports on a drug or medical device recall if they report on it at all in the case of invokana for example it took 32 days before media outlets reported about and fda warning about the product creating too much acid in the bloodstream the fda began warning about the dangers of cook ivc filters as early as 2010 and then it was took five years before the media started paying any attention to that that's interesting isn't it because i suppose what that is evidence of a disjunct between the required transparency of the media and the actual way that news is reported particularly in regard to pharmaceutical products and we know there is a long history of pharmaceutical companies behaving irresponsibly of prioritizing profit over the health of their customers if they are further abetted in this negligence by media partners that will either obscure or entirely neglect that information it means that we have even greater cause for cynicism and doubt this is a case history that's all you can look at is this as you can say this is what happened previously based on what happened previously what do you think is happening now if in the past they were dishonest about pharmaceutical companies or they corroborated scientific negligence through their lack of reporting what do you think they're doing now if initially they ignored the story that that could have come that the coronavirus could have been started in a laboratory why would we not at least consider other more extreme ideas why would we not because of the same media because of the same government interests for me that is the real challenge you do open the door to more extreme ideas you can't that by crushing it you do the opposite uh the quote that appears in the comments a lot is from the game of thrones one when you cut out a man's tongue you don't tell people that you dominate him just that you feel what he might have to say sorry for mangling that i know a lot of you really like that quote but the fact is is this kind of censorship causes more doubt not less drug companies spend about five billion dollars a year on advertising with these media outlets so when you have a case against pfizer or merck oreli lilly or any of the other major pharmaceutical companies do you think those board members are going to let you get on the air and tell a story that's bad about what they do or are you naive enough to believe that they really don't interfere with the day-to-day operation and it's not just mainstream media it's social media facebook of course put a content warning and in some cases demonetized content that uh reported nicholas wade's theory that it could have come from a lab that coronavirus could have come from a lab in fact we had video a video demonetized for precisely that reason so because information is censored or referred to as conspiratorial that don't mean it's not true that just means people don't want to believe it i sent a message to the prime minister at that morning um and forgive my forgive the language they that this is expressed in bias but i might as well just say what i actually said in the uk where i live dominic cummings former high high level government advisor has recently been like dropping bombs on his former ally boris johnson which gives us a rare insight into the architecture of government obviously cummings is an experienced media player so everything he says has been through a pretty um sophisticated filter i would say but let's have a look at some of his public revelations about what's been happening in the uk to see if we can speculate about the type of things that might go on more broadly we've got big problems coming the government office is terrifying as no plans totally behind the pace we must announce today not next week if you feel ill with cold or flu stay home some around the system want to delay because they haven't done the work he should be more worried about his digestive system is burping his way through his entire statement we must force the pace we're looking at a hundred to five hundred thousand deaths between optimistic and pessimistic scenarios what uh i think about this is it's just interesting to recognize because of the sheens of branding and propaganda behind which government operates you never sort of think of them unless if you're watching like an amande annucci sort of show like thick of it or veep or whatever i don't mean these are just people going oh no these things happening oh what are we going to do just put that out keep that out of they're just human beings that's what kind of makes a mockery of it we then got completely derailed because um in the morning of the 12th suddenly the national security people came in and said trump wants us to join a bombing campaign in the middle east tonight it's funny it sort of sounds like do you want to go over the park do you want to do a bombing campaign in the middle east no stop bombing in the middle east leave them alone and then to add to the it sounds so surreal it couldn't possibly be true that day the times had run a huge story about the prime minister and his girlfriend and their dog and the prime minister's girlfriend was going completely crackers about this story and demanding that the press office deal with that there was a bit of me that is so curious about what that story is though what did that dog do so we had this sort of completely insane situation in which part of the building was saying are we going to bomb iraq part of the building was arguing about whether or not we're going to do quarantine or not do quarantine the prime minister has his girlfriend going crackers about something completely trivial sadly we all got very confused and ended up bombing the prime minister's dog with kovid luckily it got better nobody could find a way around the problem of the prime minister just like a shopping trolley smashing from one side of the aisle into the other the images gets up reads the papers says wait what are they doing today and then cannons around actually licky's finger he shouldn't be doing that i hope he washed his hands afterwards that was the main thing i was saying number 10 was not operating on a war footing in february on this in any way shape or form lots of key people were literally skiing in the middle of february that's mad in it they're all off on holiday and that when people say oh no you know we've arrived at the best system of government you haven't have yeah if it's all like people worrying about their dogs and off on skiing other things and licking their fingers and sticking them in the air we're way off that's i can think of a few areas for immediate improvement don't go another day always have people there ready to run things in constant communication don't worry about the dogs in the public eye domain stop licking your finger the secretary of state for health should have been fired for at least 15-20 things including lying to everybody in multiple occasions in meeting after meeting in the in the cabinet room and publicly i think there's no doubt at all that many senior people performed far far disastrously below the standards which the country has a right to expect i suppose what it shows you is something that you should understand that even when you're dealing with a pandemic a global situation that involves pharmaceutical companies the world media and every single one of us with the perception of truth shifting as time goes on that the people that are in charge are not sort of like channels of pure consciousness with nothing in their minds and hearts but the well-being of the world's population they're flawed individuals with all kinds of prejudices and biases and pre-existing relationships with people like you you'll do a deal you can make people you better not tell anybody that i'm worried about my dog in april we have this terrible pledge which was hugely distorting the whole system we also had constant repeated lying about ppe the cabinet secretary said to the prime minister in almost the first meeting when he came back prime minister the british system is not set up to deal with the secretary of state who repeatedly lies in meetings that's exactly what's been set up for it's always been some version of that when you start to look at the accumulation of incompetence ineptitude the bogus peculiar relationships the disingenuity the relationships between big pharma and the media it scares me it makes me more open to hear the results of other people's independent research people that aren't in financially tied up with pharmaceutical companies or media or big business it makes me query oh why is this thing been banned why are you not allowed to talk about this theory it makes me open to those ideas i think we should be open to them i think that decisions about lockdowns quarantines vaccines should be made again it's like with democracy on the basis that they're telling us that those decisions are being made on this is scientifically beneficial for all of you we've got absolutely nothingto hide we can trust these organizations they've not done anything the path in the past that leads us to worry about them we don't have any muddy or peculiar relationships between each other that prevent us from being clear and honest and open with you it's all cool that's not what's happening the government rhetoric was we put a shield around care homes and blah blah it was complete nonsense quite the opposite of putting a shield around them we sent people with covert back to the care homes thank you she said thank you for doing that we sent it back to the curbs thank you because i hate my nan thank you that's extraordinary i spoke before one of those things they're not doing anything this is all big circle jerk of nonsense obviously if you want real change real change will not come from within institutions that have as their primary function self-preservation whether those institutions are economic financial ones and corporate ones or government ones they are predicated on self sustenance and offer you us limited change within that small space you can have these people you can have these people but this structure that underwrites it cannot alter it and the structure that overwrites it cannot alter either when the public needed us most the government failed and i'd like to say to all the families of those who died unnecessarily how sorry i am for the mistakes that were made and for my own mistakes of that he made himself cry there a little bit didn't he probably have to do another trip to our barnard castle for oh see the eyes are working now yep they're working they're good as gold i'm feeling the emotions again well look dominic cummings just a human being what a giddy silly inec dishonest disingenuous peculiar complex mess and i suppose as i've said before the implication is that we have to do our own research as you say and be clear and transparent with one another i certainly will be approaching all matters related to this subject prudently judiciously calmly like even though i'm talking about some controversial ideas here i'm not trying to make this any more incendiary i've tried to remember that this is a person-to-person situation we're dealing with relationships and fears and people with different priorities and different concerns and the only way to navigate such a choppy territory is with kind of clemency and compassion and understanding and non-judgment of one another on a human level thanks for watching cheers you

Androids that look like real humans arrive-Engineered Arts shares video of the head of the robot Mesmer who is the most human-like android to date. Entrepreneur.com-Dec. 13, 2021

Robots have been evolving for decades. The technology we know today was only a dream in the past, and the star of fictional movies. Artificial Intelligence started out being very rudimentary compared to what we know now. The first humanoid robot, Sophia , surprised everyone with her appearance, but still does not compare with those who follow her.Last week, the Engineered Arts company posted a video showing its latest creation. The head of the new Mesmer robot is strikingly similar to a human face. In the publication, the robot imitates various facial expressions, this is possible thanks to the fact that they are designed and built with 3D scans of real people.
exp-player-logo-"This is a small movement test for a Mesmer robot head. Again, not CGI. This head and neck has 22 custom servo actuators - just 5 around the mouth. which is not enough for a good lip sync— which is why it does not speak in this 'clip', " explain the engineers.Elon Musk showed his excitement on Twitter. When the video was shared via the social network, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX replied with a tweet saying, "The real androids are coming." Court sees photos of Maxwell and Epstein together at Queen's home-Jade Biggs-Tue, 7 December 2021, 7:09 am

Ghislaine Maxwell's criminal trial got underway last month (29 November) in Manhattan, New York. She is accused of grooming and recruiting underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted multi-millionaire sex offender, to sexually abuse in the late nineties and early noughties.Federal prosecutors have also charged Maxwell with sex trafficking a minor from 2001 to 2004, as well as one count of sex trafficking conspiracy. What is Ghislaine Maxwell on trial for? The full list of charges, for which Maxwell has pleaded not guilty on all counts, includes: Enticing minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts -Enticing minor to travel for illegal sex acts- Conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity -Transport of minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity Two counts of perjury .Last month, potential jurors were sent out questionnaires to assess their suitability to oversee the hearing. The questionnaire seeks to ascertain whether the potential juror has any prior knowledge of the criminal case, if anyone they know is connected to the case and if they (or anyone they know) have been a victim of the crimes. Selection of jurors took shortly before the trial's commencement. Maxwell's trial is set to last six weeks. So, what's the latest with Ghislaine Maxwell's trial? Here's a timeline of Maxwell's trial, starting with the most recent update: 8 December, 2021: On Wednesday, the jury overseeing Maxwell's criminal trial were shown photos of the defendant and Jeffrey Epstein relaxing at what looks to be the Queen's home on the Balmoral Estate in Scotland. The photo was uncovered during a search at Epstein's mansion in Manhattan, New York. Although undated, prosecutors believe the photo was taken in 1999, when the pair were invited to stay at Her Majesty's residence by her son, Prince Andrew – who has also been embroiled in the Epstein sexual abuse scandal, although he has not been convicted of any criminal charges and denies any wrongdoing.Another never-before-seen photo shared with the jury showed the Maxwell and Epstein sharing a kiss while on holiday. Other photos showed Maxwell's accusers in "various states of undress", as per the BBC. According to the broadcaster, the images were shown to the jury to convey the close relationship between Maxwell and Epstein, highlighting how they were "partners in crime." And here's the rest of Maxwell's trial timeline...29 November, 2021: On the first day of her criminal trial, Maxwell was branded a "dangerous predator" by Assistant US Attorney, Lara Pomerantz. During her opening argument, Pomerantz put emphasis on the prosecution's argument that the 59-year-old "knew exactly what would happen to these girls." Speaking to the jury, Pomerantz painted a picture in which Maxwell knowingly sought out and recruited underage girls, who would later be Epstein's victims. "The defendant directed the girls into a room where she knew (Epstein) would molest them," the court heard, according to The National. "There were times when she was in the room when it happened – making it all feel normal and casual. She preyed on vulnerable young girls, manipulated them and served them up to be sexually abused."Speaking about how Maxwell committed her alleged crimes, Pomerantz said: "The defendant and Epstein were partners in crime. They had a play book. Firstly, they got access to young girls, then they would gain their trust, they would learn about their lives and dreams, they learned about their families. The defendant and Epstein made the girls believe that their dreams could come true. They made them feel seen. They made them feel special.""But that was a cover, a cover that meant the defendant and Epstein could operate in plain sight. They were wealthy and influential people who made the girls feel comfortable and safe. What came next was anything but safe... What came next was making them feel comfortable with sexual acts with Epstein. [The girls] would have paid anything not to have met the defendant and Jeffrey Epstein. They were dangerous predators who exploited and sexually abused young girls for a decade."Pomerantz concluded: "Between 1994 and 2004, the defendant sexually exploited young girls. She preyed on vulnerable young girls, manipulated them and served them up to be sexually abused... The defendant was trafficking kids for sex. That is what this trial is all about."In response to the prosecution's claims, Maxwell's defence argued that she had become a scapegoat for the case, following Epstein's suicide in 2019 – before he could be tried on sex abuse charges.Bobbi Sternheim, leading the defence, opened their argument by saying "Ever since Adam and Eve, women have been blamed for crimes committed by men," according to journalist and author, Lucia Osborne-Crowley who was present in the court. Bobbi Sternheim then gave the defence’s opening arguments. This was so much more vicious than even I expected, and I expected it to be pretty awful. Sternheim started with this sentence: “Ever since Adam and Eve, women have been blamed for crimes committed by men.” — Lucia Osborne-Crowley (@LuciaOC_) November 30, 2021-"The charges against Ghislaine Maxwell are for things that Jeffrey Epstein did, but she is not Jeffrey Epstein," Sternheim continued. "She is not like Jeffrey Epstein and she is not like the powerful white men and media giants who abuse women."The defence also argued that the alleged victims in the case had had their memories "corrupted.""Sternham [sic] said the defence will call experts to prove that memory can be 'corrupted' and that false memories of abuse can be planted in victims’ minds by things like media attention and the prospect of 'big money rewards'," tweeted Osborne-Crowley. "She accused the victims of having memories that were 'unreliable', 'untrustworthy' and 'uncorroborated'."According to Osborne-Crowley, Sternheim also "accused the victims of themselves being sex traffickers." The defence attorney alleges that the girls had "preyed" on and "manipulated" one another, describing two of the victims of having been drug users whose "recollections shouldn't be trusted."6 December, 2021:A week into her trial, a witness going by the pseudonym 'Kate' testified that Maxwell had encouraged her to wear a schoolgirl outfit, laying the outfit on her guest room bed and telling her: "I thought it would be fun for you to take Jeffrey his tea in this outfit."The witness, who said she met Maxwell as a teenager back in 1994, alleges she wore the outfit and Epstein had sex with her. However, the judge informed the jury that these encounters could not be considered as illegal sexual acts, as she was above the legal age of consent (in Britain) at the time.According to the BBC, 'Kate', now 44, described how she had been lured in by Maxwell's sophistication, recalling that "She was very impressive… everything that I wanted to be." She explained how she'd been excited to make Maxwell's acquaintance, but within weeks was urged to meet Epstein for massages that would later turn into sex.'Kate' alleged that Maxwell would compliment her "strong hands", call her a "good girl" and ask if she was having "fun." She then went on to claim that Maxwell had told her Epstein was a "demanding" man, who needed sex three times a day. Because of that, 'Kate' claimed Maxwell had encouraged her to recruit other women who could perform sex acts on Epstein "because it was a lot for her to do."The witness added: "She said, 'You know what he likes, cute, young, pretty, like you'." Although 'Kate' admitted she never helped find additional women, she remained in contact with Epstein into her 30s, scared of what might happen to her if she didn't.The trial continues.

Can We Use Geoengineering to Defend Ourselves? The world needs to consider geoengineering uses now before we are forced into a hasty decision with potentially disastrous consequences.Blog Post by Guest Blogger for the Internationalist-December 21, 2020 3:35 pm (EST)

The following is a guest post by Elizabeth L. Chalecki, fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center and associate professor of international relations at the University of Nebraska Omaha.Atmospheric carbon dioxide is 411 parts per million and rising, and the world is increasingly seeing the international security effects of a changing climate. These effects range from loss of physical territory due to sea level rise to higher order effects such as climate-driven migration, the greater spread of infectious diseases, geopolitical instability in the thawing Arctic, and increasing resource conflicts. In addition, the recent discovery of methane-leaking lakes in the Arctic pose the alarming possibility of runaway climate warming with an unknown start date. A quick look at the hockey stick shows us that humans have never lived in this world before. As nations fail to meet their greenhouse gas mitigation plans, and the cost of adaptation to damages becomes alarmingly high, deliberate climate manipulation technologies known broadly as geoengineering will increasingly look like a viable option for avoiding the worst effects of climate change. Under current international custom, the nation that first develops new scientific technology and makes it operational has the presumed right to use it as they see fit, particularly for their own national security. This means that, as climate change becomes more of a threat, geoengineering could become a valid national defense response. The Internationalist-Nations have used other scientific and technological developments for national defense before. German chemist Fritz Haber turned his scientific work to deadly effect with the development of phosgene weapons in World War I. The Manhattan Project scientists knew full well their discoveries could be used for energy production or bombs of unparalleled lethality. Currently, dual-use technologies such as satellites, cyber systems, and even robots are deployed for national defense. Although the circumstances of their use can be restrained by customs, treaties, and multilateral organizations, the right to use them has never been in question. Would geoengineering be any different? Commons-based geoengineering (CBG) are those types of climate manipulation technologies that are deployed in the global commons: stratosphere or high seas, and they include stratospheric aerosol injection, ocean iron fertilization, and marine-based cloud brightening. CBG is not yet comprehensively governed by international law; environmental laws and laws of war only apply indirectly or under specific conditions. However, the national security framework is inseparable from the scientific, legal, and ethical questions surrounding CBG, just as it was for the development of the atomic bomb. If a great power nation such as the United States decides to deploy CBG, this might be seen as tacit permission for other great powers like China or middle powers with the scientific capability like the United Kingdom to do the same, especially if they regard this technology as providing a strategic or tactical advantage. This could then result in a kind of climatic arms race to see which state could manipulate the climate to their benefit first.States in the current international system hold sovereignty as their cardinal value—indeed the entire system is structured around sovereignty and voluntary cooperation. National security in this context is an attempt to maintain territorial sovereignty and protect a nation against external threats. The very potential of CBG to successfully alter the global climate makes its use a violation of sovereignty because it renders a nation unable to protect its territory against the incursion of another state. In addition, nations that are facing the enemy-less threat of climate change must learn to mount an enemy-less response, but the absence of war does not mean the absence of wartime collateral damage. By 1963, the United States, Soviet Union, and other nuclear nations conducted over five hundred bomb tests between them, and the subsequent radioactive fallout was discovered in plants, animals, and ecosystems far from testing sites. While CBG is not expected to involve radioactivity, its downwind or down-ocean effects could cause a material change in living conditions for millions of people, which makes the use of CBG a matter for international humanitarian law.Security policymakers must ask themselves whether the existence of a climate-related security threat gives any nation the right to attempt to manipulate the global ecology with CBG. In wartime, a nation is permitted to use any means to defend itself as a matter of normative international relations, but a climate change-related threat, such as food insecurity resulting from a drought-stricken harvest, can still be exigent in peacetime. Since traditional international security doctrine does not account for the enemy-less threat, we need to do further thinking about the rights and responsibilities nations have in balancing their sovereignty and national security against the stability of the global climate. Studying the future use of technology may not seem urgent in the face of more recognizable security threats, but we need to consider the use of CBG now before we are forced into a hasty decision with potentially disastrous consequences.from The Internationalist and International Institutions and Global Governance Program

meet loan commitments following a crackdown launched earlier this year by the Chinese government. The tougher measures aimed to curb excessive borrowing and consumer speculation in the property sector. On Thursday, Evergrande, the real estate giant with a presence in over 280 Chinese cities, defaulted for the first time on $1.2billion worth of bond debt. The company's total liabilities exceed $300bn (approx £224bn).Fitch, an American credit ratings agency, stated confirmed the company had defaulted on its debt.Following its missed payment, Evergrande status has been downgraded to a “restricted default” status by Fitch.Xin Jinping, Evergrande declineFitch said the firm had not responded to a request for confirmation on the coupon payments, and it was therefore assuming the repayment had not been made.It comes after Evergrande said there was “no guarantee” it could meet its debt repayments on Friday. This week’s missed interest payment is the latest in a series for the company, which has missed many since late September.Until this week, Evergrande had avoided default by transferring the funds before the end of 30-day grace periods. As a result of the rising repayment pressure facing the developer, there are growing concerns that Evergrande’s failure to repay could have a knock-on effect on the global economy. This was mounted after Fitch declared Kaisa, a smaller property company, had also defaulted on bonds.Kaisa is one of China's most indebted companies and failed to repay $400million worth of bonds which matured on Tuesday, according to the agency.Chinese real estate is a significant driver in China’s economic output and a decline in this area could have a knock-on effect on the country’s global growth.Concerns have also been raised that the collapse of the company could trigger a financial crash akin to the overnight collapse of Wall Street's Lehman Brothers in 2008.Chinese authorities have appeared unlikely to allow the actions of 2008 to repeat though.Analysts suggest that in order to protect its economy, Beijing would oversee a “controlled demolition” of Evergrande, which currently ranks as the world’s most indebted developer. It is hoped that such a move would help to prevent a global crisis.Robin Usson, credit analyst at Federated Hermes spoke of the defaults noting it would be “interesting” to see the role taken by the Chinese government when it comes to the two firms. He said: “The defaults of Evergrande and Kaisa move us to the second step of this China Property downturn, with systemic risk being gradually replaced by idiosyncratic risk.“It will be interesting to see the role played by SOEs (state-owned enterprises) in the restructuring process, the level of 'control' exerted by the government over this 'marketed-oriented approach’.”More than 10 Chinese real estate firms have defaulted in the second half of this year.Neither Evergrande nor Kaisa, have yet to make any comments on the default reports and what they plan to do next.
