President Trump also chimed in:So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 15, 2019

The cathedral, a huge tourist attraction that is celebrated worldwide as one of the greatest examples of French Gothic architecture, dates back almost 1,000 years. Construction began in 1160 and was not completed until 1260, although the structure has been modified often over the centuries.Parisians gathered to sing in the glow of the fire as night fell:

UPDATE-APRIL 15, 2018-03:00PM
I WAS INSPIRED TO GO WATCH SID ROTH ABOUT 3 HOURS AGO. AND IT WAS ABOUT RICK JOYNERS DREAM ABOUT AMERICAS NEXT REVOLUTIONARY CIVIL WAR. WERE NEIBOUR WILL FIGHT NEIGHBOUR. BUT THE CHURCH WILL PREVAIL. FROM HEAVENS POINT OF VIEW. THEN AFTER I WAS DONE WATCHING SID ROTH. I TURNED THE TV TO FOX NEWS. AND NOTICED THAT THE NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL WAS ON FIRE IN FRANCE. A GIGANTIC PEOPLE WORSHIP SITE. I NOTICED THE HOST SAID IT WAS DAMAGED IN THE FRENCH REVOLUTION. AND THEY WERE COMPARING IT TO NEW YORKS DESTROYED TRADE TOWERS. EVERYBODY GOTTA WATCH THIS SID ROTH SHOW. I BELIEVE ITS A SIGN THAT THE AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY CIVIL WAR IS ABOUT TO BEGIN ANYTIME NOW. AND I BELIEVE SINCE THEY MENTIONED ITS AS BIG AS THE TRADE TOWERS IN NEW YORK BEING DESTROYED. AND SINCE THE FIRE WAS STARTED IN THE BACK OF THE FRENCH CATHEDRAL. I BELIEVE THE CHURCH AND LIBERALS WILL START THIS REVOLUTIONARY CIVIL WAR IN AMERICA-IN NEW YORK. AND JOYNER SAYS THE CHURCH WILL WIN IN THE END. BUT CITIES WILL BE BURNING IN THIS 2ND AMERICAN CIVIL WAR. I KNOW PEOPLE WILL CALL ME A CONSPIRACY THEORIST BY MY BELIEF HERE. BUT WHEN I GET A TINGLING DOWN MY SIDE. LIKE I DID AFTER WATCHING THIS CATHEDRAL FIRE. IT MEANS SOMETHING. BECAUSE ONLY A FEW TIMES DO I EVER GET A TINGLING DOWN MY BACK OR SIDE OR HEAD. I BELIEVE THIS FRANCE CHURCH BURNING IS A SIGN THAT THE LIBERALS WILL DO SOMETHING REALLY BAD AGAINST CHRISTIAN BELIEFS BY THE BIBLE. AND THE CHURCH WILL FIGHT BACK FOR CHRISTIANITY. AND THE CITIES IN AMERICA WILL BURN. AS THIS 2ND REVOLUTIONARY CIVIL WAR IN AMERICA WILL HAPPEN. JOYNER SAID HE DOES NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL BEGIN. BUT AFTER THIS CATHEDRAL BURNING. I MYSELF BELIEVE. ITS A SIGN OF ANY TIME CIVIL WAR IN AMERICA.

Man caught walking into New York cathedral with gas cans, lighters-[Reuters]-YAHOONEWS-April 17, 2019

(Reuters) - A 37-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday night after walking into St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City with two full gasoline cans, lighter fluid and lighters, police said. When the man entered the Midtown Manhattan church he was confronted by a cathedral security officer, a New York City Police Department (NYPD) spokesman said. The man then left the cathedral and was apprehended by police, John Miller, deputy commissioner of intelligence and counterterrorism for the NYPD, told a press briefing. The official noted the incident came two days after the much-publicized fire in Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral."This is an indicator of something that would be very suspicious," Miller told reporters outside the cathedral.Three predominantly black churches in Louisiana were burned down between March 26 and April 4.The man told police he was carrying the gas cans because his vehicle had run out of fuel. When police checked the vehicle they found it was not out of gasoline, at which point the man was arrested, Miller said. The man is "known to police," he added.Police are still trying to ascertain the man's "mindset" and motives, Miller said.(Reporting By Andrew Hay in New Mexico, Steve Gorman in Los Angeles; Editing by Michael Perry)
