Russian, Iranian, Syrian Partnership Has Great Messianic Implications, New Bible Code Reveals-By Rivkah Lambert Adler September 20, 2015 , 11:30 am-breakingisraelnews.com
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duRU39GI9vI

“The harsh prophecy concerning Damascus; Behold Damascus shall be removed from [being] a city, and it shall be depth of ruins.” (Isaiah 17:1)-With Russia and Iran now undisputedly backing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by sending troops and weapons into Syria, a newly-released Bible Codes video reveals that the partnership has Messianic implications for the Jewish people.International Bible Codes expert Rabbi Mattiyahu Glazerson explains that the recent cooperation among Russia, Iran and Syria to boost the standing of Assad is one step in the final redemptive process. In the Bible Codes table, which comes from the Book of Deuteronomy, Glazerson points out codes embedded in the Biblical text that describe the current situation, such as Rusiya (Russia) and b’Suria (in Syria), Iran and the Hebrew letters tav, shin, ayin and vav (תשעו), which have the numerical value of 776. This is a reference to 5776, the current Hebrew year.Glazerson points out that the end of Deuteronomy 6:14 and Deuteronomy 6:15, which appear in the table, tells exactly what plans Iran has in store for Israel:…of the peoples that are around you. For the Lord, your God, is a zealous God among you, lest the wrath of the Lord, your God, be kindled against you, and destroy you off the face of the earth.”For Israel, Iran is “of the peoples that are around you.” Iranian leaders have repeatedly stated that their goal is to wipe Israel off the map, with the most recent public comments being made by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who vowed that Israel will cease to exist within 25 years. Are there hidden messages from God in the Bible? Concluding his explanation regarding Iran, Glazerson points out the words aish (fire) and Iran, a reference to the weapons of Iran, as well as several places in the Bible Codes table where the words geula (redemption) and moshiach (Messiah) are found. Turning his attention to the center of the table, Glazerson reveals the word teshuva (repentance). As he has in previous Bible Codes videos, the expert connects the two themes of the Middle East upheaval and redemption. Glazerson says the threats of surrounding countries are a means to propell the Jewish people to repent, lest they be subject to the powers of their enemies.“If you will follow most of my tables with Mashiach (Messiah),” Rabbi Glazerson told Breaking Israel News, “according to what our Rabbis say in the Talmud (Judaism’s most important compendium of rabbinic wisdom), [if] Jews not do teshuva (repent) willingly, God will appoint on them a cruel leader, like Haman in Persia (modern day Iran) and he will threaten to destroy them.”Glazerson also explained to Breaking Israel News that the numerical value of the Talmudic phrase “hamelech hakashe k’haman” (A king hard like Haman) is 620 and the numerical value of the Hebrew spellings of Barack Obama Iran is also 620.Just as God clearly states the punishment to befall the Jewish nation, he also clearly gives the remedy in the Bible Codes. “They will have to do teshuvah to be saved,” Glazerson stated. “Therefore in a table which shows that a great threat is on Israel, which we hope will bring them to do repentance, we have the two sides.”

Netanyahu to quiz Putin on Russia's reinforcement of Syria-Reuters By Dan Williams-SEPT 21,15-YAHOONEWS

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to Moscow on Monday to seek reassurance from President Vladimir Putin about Russia's military deployment in Syria and to lay out Israel's concerns about the risk of weapons reaching militants on its borders. With fighter planes part of the rapid Russian build-up, Israel is worried about the threat of fire accidentally being traded with Russian forces, especially since it has carried out air raids against militants in southern Syria and Lebanese Hezbollah fighters suspected of smuggling arms.A former strategic adviser to Netanyahu said the Israeli leader would try to work out "ground rules" with Putin about avoiding such clashes. The United States, which along with its allies has been flying missions against Islamist State insurgents in Syria, has also been holding so-called "deconfliction" talks with Russia."It could come down to Israel and Russia agreeing to limit themselves to defined areas of operation in Syria, or even that they fly at daytime and we fly at night," said the ex-adviser, who spoke on condition of anonymity.Among Israel's concerns is that Israeli warplanes could come up against Russian-operated anti-aircraft systems or even Russian-flown jets.-RUSSIAN HARDWARE-Netanyahu took along top Israeli generals for his talks with Putin, who is trying to prop up Syrian President Bashar al-Assad against an Islamist-led Syrian insurgency in its fifth year. That top-of-the-line Russian military hardware may now be deployed in Assad's favor has stoked concern his ally, Hezbollah, could also benefit. That Russians might be at the controls of these systems gives Israeli planners further pause.Sources close to Netanyahu said he would present Israeli intelligence accounts of past transfers of arms, some of them Russian-supplied, to Hezbollah, and seek reassurances Moscow would maintain control of its latest reinforcements."What's important is Putin's commitment not to get mixed up in arming Hezbollah, which should help Israel, if it goes in there, to keep a safe distance from the Russians. It is pretty clear that Putin is not looking for a fight with Israel," Netanyahu's former adviser said.Putin has pledged to continue military support for Assad, assistance that Russia says is in line with international law. Russia has been focusing forces on the Syrian coast, where it has a major naval base. The Kremlin has said Putin and Netanyahu would discuss "the relevant issues of bilateral cooperation and international agenda" during their meeting in the president's residence in Novo-Ogaryovo, near Moscow.(Additional reporting by Vladimir Soldatkin in Moscow; Editing by Jeffrey Heller and Luke Baker)

Israel struggles to counter Palestinian rock-throwing threat-Associated Press By ARON HELLER-SEPT 21,15-YAHOONEWS

JERUSALEM (AP) — After finding high-tech solutions to halt suicide bombings and rockets, tech-savvy Israel is struggling with the resurgence of a weapon dating back to David and Goliath: the hurled rock.Rock throwing is becoming commonplace in Jerusalem amid a wave of Palestinian unrest, leading to calls for a harsh crackdown and adding to tensions over access to a key holy site. But the outbursts appear to be decentralized and unorganized, and any tough new measures risk setting off another full-fledged conflict. The Palestinian rock thrower emerged as an iconic image of the first uprising against Israeli occupation in the 1980s and even as the second uprising last decade took on a more militant nature with suicide bombings and shooting attacks, rock throwing has been a regular feature of demonstrations since then. But in recent months, stone throwing has become a near daily occurrence in some neighborhoods of east Jerusalem, the section of the city captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war and claimed by the Palestinians as their capital. After an Israeli motorist was killed when his car crashed after being pelted with stones on the eve of the Jewish New Year, the Israeli government pledged to crack down.Israel quickly built a new fence and installed greater surveillance measures at the site of the attack, and the government has pushed for more lenient rules of engagement for police. It is also promising tougher minimum sentences for offenders and heavy fines for minors and their parents as part of a zero-tolerance approach."Rocks and firebombs are lethal weapons. They kill and have killed," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Cabinet on Sunday. "Those who try to harm us, we will harm them."Over the weekend, police said it arrested 48 suspects in stone-throwing and firebombing incidents. Gilad Erdan, Israel's new minister of public security, has taken an even tougher line — and outraged the country's judiciary — by suggesting that the promotion of judges should be tied to how harshly they sentence Palestinian rock throwers.Netanyahu appeared to side with Erdan on Sunday, saying "with all due respect to the courts," it is the government's "right and duty" to punish perpetrators as harshly as possible. But at a special meeting Sunday, Israel's attorney general, Yehuda Weinstein, said he opposed the proposed changes in open-fire regulations or setting minimum penalties for stone throwers, saying the current regulations are sufficient. Under pressure from Netanyahu and other ministers, Weinstein agreed to search for a compromise ahead of another meeting Thursday.Neither Israel nor the Palestinians seem interested in another round of major violence. But following last week's deadly rock-throwing incident, along with days of clashes at Jerusalem's most sensitive holy site, the city appears to be on the precipice of a crisis. The main source of tension is the situation at the hilltop compound in Jerusalem known to Jews as the Temple Mount and to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary. The site is home to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, where Muslims believe the Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. It is located on the spot where the biblical Jewish Temples once stood. The conflicting claims to the holy site in Jerusalem's Old City have frequently spilled over into violence. In recent weeks, Israel has limited Muslim access to the mosque compound on several occasions to allow Jewish visitors to ascend. While Israel said this was a temporary move meant to reduce frictions, Muslims claim this is a violation of a longstanding "status quo" in place since Israel captured the area in 1967, and rumors have spread that Israel is plotting to take over the spot.Netanyahu on Sunday called such suggestions "baseless, wild provocations" and said he was committed to preserving the status quo. More than 350 visitors toured the compound on Sunday with no violence. For those living near where 64-year-old motorist Alexander Levlovich was killed last week, the new measures seem like a weak response to a danger that has been overlooked for some time. Rock attacks are rarely reported when they don't cause casualties."It seems to me like giving a painkiller to a cancer patient," said Nava Segev, a Jerusalem resident who says her home was hit with 17 firebombs in a single week. "This tradition of coming after something happens doesn't seem effective to me."But Israel is limited in what it can do.The rock throwing is mostly the domain of young men who appear to be unorganized and leaderless, making it hard for Israel to gather intelligence on pending attacks. Israel is also concerned that a harsh response to such attacks could lead to an escalation of violence, possibly igniting a new uprising. The collapse of peace talks last year and lack of contact between the two sides has only added to the tense environment.Palestinians say the rock throwing is a visceral expression of frustration over their status in the city and particularly that of the mosque compound, where Israeli forces entered over the Rosh Hashanah holiday last week to disperse protesters who threw rocks and firecrackers. Palestinians consider the Israeli response excessive."We are talking about youth and kids who see on TV and social networks the practices of the Israeli police ... and they react to it with throwing mainly stones and in some instances firebombs to show that they are angry," said Adnan Husseini, the Palestinian minister for Jerusalem."Unfortunately, the Israeli government is responding to the anger of these kids with tough measures like allowing the use of live ammunition ... This is a license to kill."While it is unlikely that the young rock throwers receive direct orders to carry out attacks, they operate in an ideological environment that encourages attacks on Jews, said Shaul Bartal, a reserve Israeli intelligence officer who is conducting research into the phenomenon of "lone wolf" attacks for Bar-Ilan University. He said the new government measures may be able to make a dent, but short of infiltrating the Arab neighborhoods it would be hard to completely erase the threat."There can always be a situation where someone just decides to do something," he said. "Israel has to figure out a way to cope with that."___Follow Aron Heller on Twitter at www.twitter.com/aronhellerap

Refugee crisis prompts snap EU summit By Eric Maurice-euobserver

BRUSSELS, 17. Sep, 18:24-EU leaders will hold an emergency summit on the migrant crisis on Wednesday (23 September), amid crackdowns on EU borders and disagreement on how to share 120,000 refugees. The "extraordinary, informal meeting” will discuss how to deal with the refugee crisis", EU Council president Donald Tusk said. The summit will come one day after a special meeting of EU interior ministers on migrant relocation. The ministers failed to agree, this week, on a European Commission proposal on redistributing another 120,000 refugees. But they did agree to an earlier Commission plan to share 40,000 people seeking protection.Tusk’s summit announcement, on Thursday (17 September), came the same day Slovenia introduced controls on its border with Hungary. It’s move is the latest in a series of crackdowns by members of the passport-free Schengen area, including Austria, Germany, Slovakia, and the Netherlands.Bulgaria, also on Thursday, said it would send up to 1,000 soldiers to its Turkish border. In Croatia, about 7,000 migrants arrived in less than 24 hours, some of whom clashed with police while trying to cross from Serbia. The clashes follow similar incidents at the Hungarian-Serbian border.Opposition-The situation in the Western Balkans and Hungary will be one of the main issues discussed by EU leaders on 23 September. The Commission proposal on relocating 120,000 people will also lead the agenda.Austria and Germany had already called for an EU summit earlier in the week.German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that creating a mandatory and permanent relocation mechanism is “the responsibility of the entire European Union”. Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico had also called for a summit, but saying that EU institutions shouldn’t “dictate" to EU capitals how many refugees to take.Slovakia, along with the Czech Republic, and Hungary oppose the Commission relocation scheme, while Poland has flip-flopped on the issue. But a bigger coalition of EU states could outvote them in the EU Council.Even the plan’s fiercest opponent, Hungarian Viktor Orban, has conceded, in German media, that “in this case [the decision to apply refugee quotas] would be a law and we would have to accept it”.But he warned that outvoting Hungary "would be ill-advised, unfair and I am sure that there would be a high price to pay later".-Parliament vote-For its part, the European Parliament, also on Thursday, used a fast-track legal procedure and voted in favour of the Commission's relocation scheme.MEPs approved it by 370 votes against 134, with 52 abstentions. The European Commission denied reports it’s ready to water down its proposal into a voluntary one."Our proposal remains on the table as we have proposed it”, Commission spokeswoman Mina Andreeva said on Thursday. She added, however: “If there are any changes during the legislative process, then we can discuss the changes".The Commission’s chief spokesman, Margaritis Schinas, noted that opponents of the plan haven’t offered alternatives."The only thing at work is our proposal”, he said. "What are the other proposals? Looking around, we don't see anything”.

Refugee crisis to test EU at summit of divided leaders-Reuters By Julia Fioretti and Gernot Heller-SEPT 20,15-YAHOONEWS

BRUSSELS/ LEIPZIG, Germany (Reuters) - Bitterly-divided European leaders will seek to find a credible response to the continent's worst migration crisis since World War Two at an emergency summit next week.German chancellor Angela Merkel called on her peers on Sunday to accept joint responsibility." Germany is willing to help. But it is not just a German challenge, but one for all of Europe," Merkel told a gathering of trade unionists. "Europe must act together and take on responsibility. Germany can't shoulder this task alone."Striking a more skeptical tone on migration than in previous weeks, Merkel also warned that Germany could not shelter those who were moving for economic reasons rather than to flee war or persecution."We are a big country. We are a strong country. But to make out as if we alone can solve all the social problems of the world would not be realistic," she told a gathering of the Verdi trade union. European Council President Donald Tusk, who chairs European Union summits, said on Twitter on Sunday following a weekend visit to Jordan and Egypt that the EU needed to help Syrian refugees find a better life closer at home. That will be one of the topics of discussion for Wednesday's summit in Brussels as hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants brave the seas and trek across the impoverished Balkan peninsula to reach more affluent countries in northern Europe. The 28-member bloc has struggled to find a unified response to the crisis, which has tested many of its newer members in the East that are unaccustomed to large-scale immigration. On Sunday Hungary erected a steel gate and fence posts at a border crossing with Croatia, the EU's newest member state. Overwhelmed by an influx of some 25,000 migrants this week, Croatia has been sending them north by bus and train to Hungary, which has waved them on to Austria. Around 10,700 migrants walked into Austria from Hungary on Sunday, some 200 more than on Saturday. The influx of migrants, most of them fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has led to bitter recriminations between European governments while the temporary closure of national borders has undermined one of the most tangible achievements of the Union."If you don’t cope with this crisis, then I think the EU will fall apart," said a senior EU official. The official said European leaders would discuss longer-term strategies for dealing with the crisis, particularly increasing cooperation with Turkey and the countries bordering Syria to keep the millions of refugees at home. Tusk said more aid to the World Food Program and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees would also be on the agenda. Beefing up the EU's asylum agency, Frontex, into a full border and coastguard agency, and working on hotspots and a list of "safe countries" whose citizens would not normally qualify for asylum, would also be up for discussion, the official said.CEMENTING PEACE-On Saturday, German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said the EU needed to provide 1.5 billion euros ($1.70 billion) to the two agencies to address funding shortfalls. The EU prides itself on cementing peace among countries that until World War Two fought bloody battles and fostering prosperity by removing internal barriers among its member states through the so-called Schengen agreement. But the more than 500,000 people crossing the Mediterranean into Europe this year alone and Hungary's use of water cannon and razor wire on its border with Serbia have seen the EU's ambitions to act as one fall short. The picture of a dead toddler washed up on a beach in Turkey sent shockwaves around the continent. On Sunday 13 migrants, including six children, were killed as their boat was wrecked in Turkish waters."The (Schengen) agreements are now part of our daily lives and it is unthinkable that the facilities enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of travelers and cross-border workers in Europe are challenged by nationalist and reactionary thoughts and political actions," said Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs for Luxembourg. As the holder of the rotating presidency of the EU, Luxembourg is working to broker a compromise that can break the deadlock between member states on sharing the burden of the crisis.EU interior ministers, meeting on Tuesday, are expected to agree on a voluntary relocation scheme to redistribute 160,000 refugees from frontline states across the EU, a fraction of the total entering Europe.EU ambassadors met on Sunday to try to hammer out compromises ahead of Tuesday's meeting but several issues still needed to be solved and work would continue until then, said a spokeswoman for the EU presidency.Germany's Gabriel warned that the country could be overwhelmed by the 800,000 refugees and asylum seekers it expects to receive this year. Most of the migrants hope to reach prosperous Germany or Sweden."At some point, it will become too much for Germany. And that is why we are discussing a distribution of the migrants in Europe ... Germany is helping. But now Germany needs to be helped," he told German broadcaster ARD.U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Sunday the United States would take in 15,000 more refugees from around the world next year, increasing the current level to 85,000, and to 100,000 in 2017.(Additional reporting by Alastair Macdonald, Paul Taylor, Francois Murphy in Vienna; Lesley Wroughton in Berlin and John O'Donnell in Frankfurt; Editing by Andrew Roche)
