Jewish groups held a mock Passover sacrifice on Thursday opposite the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The ritual slaughter was not merely a historic reenactment, but, they say, practice in advance of the reconstruction of the Temple. The practice sacrifice has been held annually for the past several years. This year organizers were unpleasantly surprised by a veto from Israel’s Veterinary Services, which refused to authorize the event.
Organizers took the matter to court, and were able to quickly get a ruling permitting the ritual. The various groups involved in the event were represented by Rabbi Yehuda Glick, who told Arutz Sheva that the ritual was carried out with as much Biblical accuracy as possible.“We took the goat, as the Torah commands, we had an altar built like the real one, and a cooking pit built according to halacha [Jewish law],” he said. “We slaughtered the goat with Leviim singing and priestly clothing, just like in the real Passover sacrifice.”
Leviim are Jews belonging to the Biblical tribe of Levi, whose members took part in Temple services.
The ritual was emotionally moving, Rabbi Glick reported. “The symbolism of standing opposite the Temple Mount and preparing for the real Passover sacrifice – it was without doubt a special moment,” he said.
Jerusalem police detectives detained right-wing activist Noam Federman and others for questioning, Monday afternoon, and seized a lamb the activists wanted to sacrifice on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City. Police cited them for transporting an animal without a permit.Federman reacted by saying, "We demand to offer the Passover sacrifice, one of the most important commandments. Several Temple movement activists will
try to make the Pesach sacrifice on the Temple Mount Monday, but they
expect police to block their way, as has happened in previous years.
The activists said they plan to assemble at the promenade near the Jaffa Gate of Jerusalem's Old City at 1:30 p.m., with the goats and lambs they plan to sacrifice. At 1:45, led by Noam Federman, they will try to begin advancing toward the Temple Mount, with the hope of setting up what they term a minimal kosher altar" there. The activists said that they know their chances of success are slim, and noted that in previous years, police used force to block their way and arrested some of them as well. Charge sheets were also filed against some of them, on alleged unauthorized transport of animals and cruelty to animals. Some activists hope, however, that police will be more sympathetic to their efforts, because the new Knesset and government include Temple activists like MK Moshe Feiglin and Minister Uri Ariel in senior positions.
The Temple organizations note that hundreds of supporters have signed petitions calling on the government to enable the Pesach sacrifice on the Temple Mount, as part of the freedom of religion and worship that the government must allow, by law.Activists held a sacrifice ceremony outside the Old City walls and opposite the Temple Mount on Thursday.

Passover (Pesach) will take place this year
between sunset on Monday, March 25, and sunset on Monday, April 1. The
first and seventh days are marked as Sabbath-like holy days (Yom Tov) in
which work is forbidden.Jews outside of Israel, and those visiting Israel only for the
holiday, observe an additional day in both the beginning and end of
Pesach, which lasts eight days for them.On this evening, the enslaved Jews were freed from Egyptian bondage
after the Ten Plagues forced King Pharaoh of Egypt to listen to Moses
and Aaron's call to "Let my people go!" The best known name of the
holiday is Passover, to commemmorate the passing over of the Jewish
homes during the plague that killed each Egyptian firstborn son. The
holiday is also known as the Holiday of Matzahs, the Holiday of Our
Freedom and the Holiday of Spring.Jews are commanded to tell the story of leaving Egypt as if it had happened to them personally and not as a mere historical event, in order to emphasize the importance of our hard-won and precious freedom.
The government of Israel sold its “chametz,” leavened bread, to an Arab before the holiday in order not to transgress the commandment of not owning any chametz during the holiday. This includes any food product that contains leavened wheat, oat, barley, rye, or spelt products. After a search for remaining chametz in houses Sunday night, Jews burn it the following morning, several hours before Pesach begins. Not a drop of chametz is allowed to remain in Jewish hands during the entire holiday, so that each family sells its own chametz for the week as the government does.Dishes also are changed for the holiday or were made kosher through a procedure that depends on what material they are composed of. Glassware dishes can be koshered for Pesach by cleaning, leaving them unused for a period of time and then dipping them in water. Metal, if completely cleaned, is dipped in boiling water and prior to the holiday, large vats of boiling water are manned by people at various locations for that purpose. Not all materials can be made useable for Pesach and a rabbi should be consulted with any questions. In the absence of leaven, Jews will eat specially prepared unleavened bread, or matza, on Pesach, as was done at the Exodus, when the Jews did not have enough time to wait for dough to rise before leaving Egypt.First-born males over 13 are required to fast on the day before Passover – in commemoration of the fact that first-born Jewish males were spared when first-born Egyptian males were killed during the tenth plague – but may be released of this obligation by participating in a special festive meal, like the ones that accompany the conclusion of study of a tractate of the Talmud or a circumcision, on the morning before Passover. The traditional Seder is held Monday night – Monday and Tuesday nights for Jews outside of Israel. The guide for the Seder is detailed in the Haggadah, literally "narration," which relates the story of the Exodus from Egypt.A plate placed on the Seder table contains several special foods: a roasted egg, symbolizing the special holiday sacrifices which were brought in the Temple; a roasted shank bone, recalling the Passover lamb offered and eaten by every family in Jerusalem in Temple times and brought in Egypt right before the Exodus; a mixture of chopped apples, nuts, wine and cinnamon known as charoset, symbolizing the mortar that the Hebrew slaves in Egypt used to make bricks; sprigs of parsley and lettuce, symbolizing spring; a bitter herb symbolizing the bitterness of slavery; and salt water, recalling the tears shed by the Hebrew slaves in Egypt. There are additional explanations for some of the symbols.Three whole pieces of matza mark the division of the Jewish people into priests (Cohanim), Levites and the general population are also placed on the table. There are also other explanations for this custom, as there are for almost all of the customs.During the course of the Seder, the Ten Plagues are recalled. When each of the Plagues is mentioned, each participant dips a finger into his/her cup of wine and removes a drop; even though the Jews were oppressed in Egypt, we are reminded that we must not rejoice over the Egyptians' suffering. Our cups of wine cannot thus be full.Four cups of wine are drunk at specific parts of the seder, to remember the four words symbolizing redemption that appear in the Biblical Exodus narration. One of the more popular Seder customs for children concerns the afikoman, a special piece of matza that is the last food eaten during the Seder. The head of the household customarily hides the afikoman somewhere in the house, and the children then search for it. Once found, the afikoman is "ransomed," since the Seder cannot continue until the afikoman is eaten. This helps to keep the children focused on the Seder and to pique their curiosity regarding the entire Passover epic.On the morning of Monday March 26, festive prayers, including a prayer for dew during the spring and summer, and special readings, will figure prominently in synagogue services.During the intermediate days, between the first and last days, special prayers also are recited in synagogue. In Israel, all of Pesach is an official holiday for schools and most government offices and vacationing families fill the national parks and museums, many of which are free.Jewish tradition maintains that the parting of the Red Sea and the destruction of the Egyptian army occurred on the seventh day of Passover, but even though Passover celebrates the Exodus from Egypt, Jews nevertheless do not rejoice over the death of the Egyptians in the sea and only an abridged version of Hallel (Psalms 113-118) – a holiday prayer – is recited after the first day of Passover. On the Sabbath of the intermediate days of Passover (Saturday March 30), the day's special readings will include the Song of Songs and Ezekiel's vision of the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37:1-14).From the evening prayer ending Tuesday March 26, Jews will keep a nightly count of the 49 days (seven weeks), until the evening of Tuesday, May 14, one day before the holiday of Shavuot. This count commemorates the Temple offering of the omer, or sheaf of new grain, in keeping with the Biblical injunction of Leviticus 23:15-16.
Maimouna – an informal, yet widely celebrated holiday which originated among the Jews of North Africa, particularly those from Morocco – will be celebrated immediately after Passover, from sunset on Monday April 1. According to custom, families prepare elaborate tables with various sweets and baked goods, and host friends and family members. Whole neighborhoods often close as celebrations spill out into the streets and parks.

JAMES 5:1-3
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
REVELATION 18:10,17,19

17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
EZEKIEL 7:19
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

“ Rio in July” said the pope during the Angelus- “prepare in your hearts, spiritually” for World Youth Day. Pope Francis renewed his invite to the WYD in various languages. The pope reiterated his invite to meet in Rio in French, Italian, Spanish and Polish, saying “I wish you a good journey towards WYD” .He also called in Italian to “ the Virgin Mary to accompany us throughout in the Holy Week” and pleaded for her to support people who live in difficult conditions, with a special thought for those “affected by tuberculosis”.
The pope reiterated his invite to meet in Rio in French, Italian, Spanish and Polish, saying “I wish you a good journey towards WYD”. He also called in Italian to “ the Virgin Mary to accompany us throughout in the Holy Week” and pleaded for her to support people who live in difficult conditions, with a special thought for those “affected by tuberculosis”.This speech was followed by a long embrace with the crowd from the open papamobile while crossing St Peter’s Square, which was crowded by 250,000 faithful.
Palm Sunday Homily
The pope’s felt condemnation of the “filth” that is sin resounded in the crowded square and tied back together the loose ends of the Catholic collective memory. Francis’ homily is an act of homage to his predecessor and a sign of continuity between the two pontificates. In fact it echoed Joseph Ratzinger’s sermon against scandals and abuses. Easter celebrations began with the pope’s appeal to humility and a warning against ‘filth’. Holy Week will focus on purification and the crucial conversion from a life of sin “God does not choose the strongest, the bravest; he chooses the last, the one no one else considered. Power is not what counts” warned Francis, echoing Ratzinger’s pointed remarks against ‘ filth’ in the Stations of the Cross in 2005. Olive branches were waved like banners as the pope passed by. In St Peter the celebration of Palm Sunday and of the Passion of Christ was preceded by the remembrance of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. In the middle of the square, near the obelisk the pope blessed the palms and the olive branches and at the end of the procession, which reached the churchyard, he celebrated mass.In occasion of the diocesan celebration of the 28th World Youth Day, young people from Rome took part in the service as a prelude to WYD 2013, which will take place from the 23rd to the 28th of July in Rio de Janeiro. “The power of God tackles the evil that is in the world, the sin that disfigures the face of Man” stated pope Francis in his homily “ Jesus takes upon himself all the evil, the filth, the sins of the world, our sin included, and cleans it, cleans it all away with his blood, with his mercy, with the love of God”.He then urged the faithful “ Let us look around at how many wounds Evil inflicts upon humanity! Wars, violence, economic conflicts that strike those who are weakest, greed for money , greed for power, corruption, divisions, crimes against human life and against the whole of creation! And our own personal sins: the lack of love and respect for God, for our neighbours and the entire creation” Jesus on the cross “feels the weight of this evil and with the strength of the love of God defeats it, he vanquishes it in his resurrection” The pope highlighted that “ we can all defeat the Evil within ourselves and in the world, with Christ, with the Good”. Obviously “ We feel weak, inadequate, incompetent, but God is not looking for powerful means, he defeated evil with the cross”. Therefore we must not believe the Devil when it says “You can do nothing against violence, corruption, injustice, against your sins”. Hence “We must never get used to Evil”. With Christ “we can change ourselves and the world”. We must “ Take the victory of Christ on the cross to everyone and everywhere; spread the great love of God”. The Lord “ asks us all not to be afraid to come out of our shells and go towards each other”. Therefore “ let us learn to look up to God, but also down to others people, to the last”. “Moreover we must not fear sacrifice; think of a mum or a dad, so many sacrifices! But why do they do it? For love! And how do they deal with sacrifice? With joy because it is for the benefit of the people they love”. Equally “Christ’s cross when embraced with love does not lead to sadness but to joy”. Then the pope talked to the young people of the WYD “ With Christ the heart never grows old. But we all know, and you know it well, that the Lord we follow and who accompanies us is very special: he is a King who loves us all the way to the cross and teaches us to serve and love. And you are not ashamed of his cross, you even embrace it because you have understood that true joy is achieved in giving one’s own self and it was through Love that God defeated Evil”.In fact “ You carry this cross in pilgrimage across all the continents and the streets of the world! You carry it in answer to Jesus’ invitation” ““Go and make disciples of all nations! Which is the theme of this year’s World Youth Day. You carry the cross to tell everyone that on the cross Jesus tore down the wall of enmity that separated men and nations, and brought us towards reconciliation and peace” Explains Francis “ I am walking with you following in the footsteps of the blessed John Paul II and Benedict XVI. We are now close to the next stage of this great pilgrimage of the Cross of Christ. I am looking forward to July in Rio de Janeiro. Let’s meet in that great Brazilian city” the pope closed his speech with a vibrant appeal to” walk with Jesus, be with Him, carrying his cross with love and with ever youthful spirit”.
And it is likely that it is to these travel notes, more than the report by the three Cardinals, that Pope Francis will be devoting his attention. Criticism and doubts are growing about this latter report, the more it comes to light just how the Commission went about its work. Relying primarily on the "complaints" of the current Nuncio to the United States, Carlo Maria Viganò, and above all recording statements and accusations but without, in many cases, permitting a cross-examination. Limiting itself merely to recording them. One of the most controversial points concerns the so-called "investigation", organized by Viganò at the Governorate, of a priest, Paolo Nicolini. Mons. Nicolini, highly esteemed by Ruini, was also esteemed by Viganò, who often asked him for advice of a technical and administrative character. According to people informed, Mons. Nicolini was also consulted by the Secretary of State, Tarcisio Bertone. who asked him for technical information on the Governorate, of which Viganò was Secretary, and perhaps even about Viganò himself. This led Viganò to think Mons. Nicolini was playing a kind of double game, and when Bertone announced that he was not to become Cardinal, but would go off to be the Nuncio to the United States, the transparency case exploded.A commission was created, headed by a close friend of Viganò, Mons. Egidio Turnaturi. And, as Vatican Insider wrote, they found "other accusations regarding Mons. Nicolini to be unfounded as well, although the Commission deemed it had found evidence of certain alleged character traits and suggested measures be taken".Also important was the speech by the President of the Governorate, Cardinal Giovanni Lajolo, who specified many points, claiming, inter alia, for the entire team and for himself, the merit of having initiated a work of transparency. But the imbalance in the Vatileaks report by the three Cardinals in favour of what Viganò was claiming, together with other elements, reflects negatively on the credibility of the entire report. Also because some cracks have appeared in the image of the great accuser, and not minor ones at all. He has never been willing (more than a year after his departure for the United States) to make available the apartment he occupied at the Governorate, which is still closed with all his furniture inside. Cardinal Bertone had written a letter, asking him to give the keys back to the Vatican; but for some reason (friendships and covers in the Secretariat of State?) for a long time the message was not sent.
In addition, just a few days ago the news came out alleging that Vatileaks all springs from a lie. Lorenzo Viganò, a Jesuit biblical scholar, has declared in an interview that his brother "lied to Ratzinger when he asked to remain in Rome because he had to take care of me, sick". According to what has been written, to oppose the transfer to Washington, Carlo Maria Viganò allegedly wrote to Pope Ratzinger saying that he could not leave on account of the "necessary, dutiful and direct assistance" that engaged in towards his brother. Lorenzo, who lives in Chicago, says in the interview that he is fine, and has not spoken with his brother for two years, due to "tensions on account of our inheritance". And he says, "it is very serious that Carlo Maria has written falsely to the Pope, instrumentalizing me for personal ends".Unfortunately, it seems, the three wise men (Cardinals Herranz, Tomko and De Giorgi) would, perhaps out of respect for the establishment, have given much credence to allegations by Viganò. Among other things, interrogating Secretary of State Bertone as they would any ordinary person under accusation... A line that in the light of what is emerging casts a shadow on the reliability of the entire report.

DOCTOR DOCTORIAN FROM ANGEL OF GOD
then the angel said, Financial crisis will come to Asia. I will shake the world.
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
REVELATION 13:16-18

Francis echoes Benedict XVI in his warning against “filth” and his hope in young people
The purification of the Church continues. Pope Francis does homage to his predecessor with the Palm Sunday homily.“ We must not get used to Evil”. And finally he calls for all the young people of the world to meet in Rio
Giacomo Galeazzi Vatican City“ Rio in July” said the pope during the Angelus- “prepare in your hearts, spiritually” for World Youth Day.

The secret report Benedict wrote for Francis
Ratzinger has left his successor a 300-page report to look through. And the Vatileaks file appears a bit too biased in favour of Viganò's statements
Marco Tosatti vatican city Pope Francis will have some reading to do in the next few days. And not so much the report by the three Cardinal "wise men" on Vatileaks, as a staff memorandum written by Benedict XVI, a kind of user's manual. It was mentioned in Avvenire (the newspaper of the Italian Bishop's Conference) by Archbishop Loris Capovilla, secretary to John XXIII, whose 98 years have not dimmed, but if anything, added to, his lucidity. Speaking with the nephew of the "Good Pope" (Roncalli), Camarillo said "anyway, and I'm not referring to the Vatileaks dossier, Benedict XVI has left on his successor's desk something like three hundred pages written personally to his attention, that's what they tell me in Rome". Like a good captain, Pope Ratzinger has left a "delivery" for the one who would take over the helm of the boat.

Assad
Confirmed Dead, Iran Attempts To Control Syria Army
By
Israel News Agency Staff
Jerusalem,
Israel --- March 24, 2013 … Russian media sources have confirmed
that Syria President Bashar Assad was shot by an Iranian bodyguard
Saturday night."The
lone assassination pumped several bullets at point blank range
into Assad," said the source. "Assad was rushed to Al-Shami
Hospital in Damascus in critical condition. He died on the operating
table from heart failure resulting from massive blood loss."An
Israeli security analyst believes the report to be accurate."In
the last 24 hours have we seen Assad? Any photographs or video?
No. Nor will we see any as loyalists who are closest to Assad
have been threatened if any leaked photos or reports reach Western
media. Iran is attempting to take control of the Syrian army and
its wealth of weapons as Syrian solders are now deserting in mass.
I don't believe that the West will allow any Iranian control of
Damascus.""There
was a reason why Barack Obama visited Israel. And it was not for
a photo op with Miss Israel. I don't think Netanyahu would apologize
to Turkey or to anyone. But if it was between a dead Assad and
saying sorry to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan I
think there was no hesitation in making that telephone call to
Ankara."The
Israeli analyst said that several events have taken place in the
last 24 hours including the Syrian army shooting at an Israeli
border patrol unit. It is believed that this action was coordinated
by Assad loyalists who stood outside the dead President's hospital
room to deflect the global media from the assassination and to
pull Israel into a war with the Syrian army. The leader of the
Western-backed Syrian opposition coalition announced he was resigning.Moaz
al-Khatib didn’t detail what motivated his decision, in a
status update made on social media Website Facebook. But he did say that he now had the ability to “work with
freedom that cannot be available within the official institutions.”
Al-Khatib also said the international community has failed to adequately support the rebels’ fight against Assad.Opposition members from Syrian's President Bashar Assad's Alawite sect demanded his overthrow today and urged their co-religionists in the Syrian army to rebel.
"We
call on our brothers in the Syrian army, specifically members
of our sect, not to take up arms against their people and to refuse
to join the army," the delegates said in a news release after
two days of meeting in the Egyptian capital. The Israeli
analyst said that the Israeli army is on heightened alert in the
North and the US is moving a battle carrier group off the Syrian
coast. That the US would not tolerate any further action by Iran
inside Syria and has warned Iranians to leave the country."Assad
had complete and total support from both Iran and Russia. They
backed Assad in his bloody campaign which resulted in the loss
of over 70,000 Syrian civilians. No one helped those Syrians except
for one country - Israel. They have taken in dozens of wounded
Syrians across the border who are now being cared for in Israeli
hospitals."Al-Khatib also said the international community has failed to adequately support the rebels’ fight against Assad.Opposition members from Syrian's President Bashar Assad's Alawite sect demanded his overthrow today and urged their co-religionists in the Syrian army to rebel.
"We can expect to see a photo of a dead Assad within 48 hours. There are many phone cameras in the pockets of those guarding his body. One of those photos would be worth almost a million dollars to the one getting that photo out to the Western media."
IF ASSAD IS NOT DEAD.WE SURE HAVE SUSPICIOUS HEADLINES.LIKE A BUFFER ZONE AFTER POST ASSAD.WE WILL SEE.
Israeli general suggests creating buffer zone in a post-Assad Syria
In recent months, a number of rockets fired during fighting
between Syrian forces and rebels have fallen inside the Israeli-occupied
Golan Heights. (AFP)
Reuters -
An Israeli general has raised the possibility of creating a buffer
zone in Syria, in cooperation with local forces wary of jihadist
fighters, should President Bashar al-Assad be toppled.
Major-General Yair Golan said “many hundreds” of radical Islamists were
fighting in Syria's two-year-old civil war and could “take root” in
Israel's northern neighbor should Assad fall.He said the
Israeli military was working on the assumption that these fighters would
ultimately launch attacks against Israel, which captured the Golan
Heights from Syria in the 1967Middle East war. “One measure we
certainly cannot rule out is to create a security zone on the other side
of the border,” Golan, head of the military's northern command, said in
an interview published on Monday in the Yisrael Hayom daily.
Golan, who oversees Israeli forces on the Syrian and Lebanese frontiers,
did not say whether he envisages the deployment of Israeli troops in
such a buffer area. Syrians “with a common interest in
cooperating with us “against radical Islamist fighters would be Israel's
natural allies in any such security zone, Golan said. “If an
opportunity presents itself - and it hasn't as yet -we should not
hesitate,” he said. “Everything should be done wisely and secretly, with
a true examination of where the interests of the other side lie.”
Golan pointed to the example of the “security zone” Israeli forces
maintained for 15 years in southern Lebanon with the stated aim of
keeping Hezbollah guerrillas and rockets away from Israel's border.
“The bottom line: (the buffer zone in Lebanon) was one of the most
worthy security investments ever made by the State of Israel,” he said
about an area where Israeli troops were frequently under attack and
which they left in 2000. In recent months, a number of rockets
fired during fighting between Syrian forces and rebels have fallen
inside the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The strategic plateau is
monitored by U.N. observers and had been quiet for decades.
Israel fired into Syria on Sunday, saying it destroyed a machinegun post
that had shot at Israeli soldiers in the Golan Heights.
