Mashaal: Palestine is our homeland, from the sea to the river

Hundreds of thousands gather in Gaza to mark Hamas’s 25th anniversary; ‘Zionists, prepare your passports,’ says spokesman for the terrorist organization’s military wing

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — “Palestine is our homeland from the sea to the river, from north to south, and we will not give up any part of our land,” said Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal Saturday at a rally marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the terrorist group.“We are all one,” said Mashaal, referring to Palestinians residing in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and inside Israel. “We are all united in the way of resistance.”Mashaal entered the Strip on Friday, for the first time ever and after a long exile from Palestinian territory, to attend the mass rally.Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians gathered in Gaza on Saturday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Hamas.Thousands of Hamas supporters, some of them flashing victory signs, were braving the rain to attend the event. Some parents brought children dressed in military uniforms.Palestinian sources reported that the terror organization’s supporters from throughout the region had arrived in Gaza to participate in the festivities.

A spokesmen for Hamas’s military wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, warned Israelis to prepare their passports.
“We fought the Zionist entity with limited power,” he said. “What will happen when we fight with all our might?“Zionists, you should prepare your passports and get ready to disappear,” the spokesman added.
In a special message released in honor of the anniversary, Hamas leaders vowed to continue the path of resistance and jihad “to liberate Palestine.”“The great crimes perpetrated against us by the Zionist occupation only fuel our desire to resist and fight,” read the message. The anniversary comes two weeks after the bloodiest round of Israel-Gaza fighting in four years.Hamas has portrayed itself as the victor of the eight-day conflict because Israel agreed to an Egyptian-brokered truce instead of sending in ground troops, as it initially threatened.

Mashaal in Gaza: Tomorrow Ramallah, then Jerusalem

Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal, on his first visit to Gaza on Friday, told crowds he hoped his next visit would be to “Jerusalem, Ramallah and a liberated Palestine,” the Bethlehem-based Ma’an news agency reports.
After passing through the Egyptian border crossing, Mashaal knelt on the ground to offer a prayer of thanks and was then greeted by dozens of officials from an array of competing factions, the report said.Mashaal praised the people of Gaza and was welcomed by Gaza's Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. He said his visit to Gaza was his "third birth", referring to an assassination attempt by Israeli Mossad agents in 1997 as his previous "re-birth.""I pray to God that my fourth birth will come the day we liberate Palestine," Mashaal said, according to Ma’an. "Today is Gaza. Tomorrow will be Ramallah and after that Jerusalem then Haifa and Jaffa.”Haniyeh welcomed Mashaal's arrival as a historic moment. Hamas denied seeking guarantees via Egyptian contacts with Israel that Mashaal would not be targeted for assassination in Gaza, reported Ma’an.
There was massive security for his arrival, with gun-toting, black-masked guards from Hamas patrolling the streets in open-topped trucks and motorbikes, the report said.On Thursday it was reported that the leader of the Islamic Jihad terror organization, Ramadan Shalah, cancelled his visit to Gaza after Israel threatened to assassinate him.Mashaal will visit the home of the founder of Hamas, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, who was assassinated by Israel in 2004, and the homes of Ahmad al-Jaabari, Hamas’s “chief of staff” and his bodyguard Mohammad al-Hams, who Israel killed on November 14 at the start of Operation Pillar of Defense.Mashaal will stay for a little more than 48 hours in Gaza, which Hamas has ruled since taking over the region in a bloody 2007 war with rival Fatah. Hamas politburo members Mousa Abu Marzouq, Izzat al-Rishq, and Saleh al-Arouri accompanied him, reported Ma’an.Hamas plans an open-air rally on Saturday to promote what it claims was last month's victory over Israel and at the same time commemorate the 25th anniversary of the terror group's founding. In an interview he gave to CNN several weeks ago, Mashaal claimed that Hamas would accept a Palestinian state along the indefensible pre-1967 borders but would refuse to recognize Israel’s right to exist.(Arutz Sheva’s North American Desk is keeping you updated until the start of Shabbat in New York. Israel, declare your final borders

December 7, 2012, 8:24 pm 2-THE TIMES OF ISRAEL
Is this not the right moment for Israel to finally declare its final borders? As anyone who is half-conscious understands the Palestinians have no intention whatsoever of coming to a negotiated end of hostilities with the Jewish state. The Arabs have turned down every single offer for statehood, in peace next to the Jewish one, since the Peel Commission of 1937.
Does that not tell us something? I think it does.
Forget about negotiations. Time and again negotiations with the Palestinians have shown themselves to be worthless and the reason for that is because the Palestinians want eventual victory, total victory, which they believe that they can get if they keep the pressure up on all fronts. They will continue to shoot rockets at you from the Gaza strip. They will continue to demonize you in true Nazi fashion throughout the world. They will continue to demand everything from you, including full “right of return” for all Arab refugees, and in return they will offer you nothing and make no concessions whatsoever. They will, furthermore, blame you for their hatred of you and for their own refusal to accept a state in peace next to the Jewish one. They will blame you for their relative poverty. They will blame you when their own rockets hit their own people. They will even castigate you as racist for your disinclination to rape their women. They will blame you for everything and take responsibility for exactly nothing. And, let us not forget, most of the rest of the world will agree with them no matter what the accusation is. The European governments (with, perhaps, the lone, sole exception of the Czech Republic, G-d love it) will agree almost entirely with the Palestinians, as will the international left. It doesn’t much matter what you guys do, or don’t do, because the Arab peoples, the European governments, the United Nations, and the international Left is going to spit hatred at you anyway. The Palestinians will never agree to peace and you will always get the blame. What I say is define your borders. You do not need to annex the entirety of Judea and Samaria, just annex what makes sense from a national security standpoint. Annex the major settlement blocs near the green line. Annex the entirety of Jerusalem and leave whatever’s left in the so-called “west bank” for a Palestinian state. The Palestinians, after all, have earned Ramallah as their capital. Let them have it.But the point is that you guys, you Israeli Jews, need to take matters into your own hands. You can count on no one but yourselves. You can’t even count, I am sad to say, on many diaspora Jews.  There are any number of us who point the trembling finger of blame at you because, infused with Arab and Soviet propaganda, they believe that Israel is a racist, colonialist, imperialist, apartheid, racist state… and racist, to boot.So end this charade of a “peace process,” which is anything but, and tell the world, and the Palestinians, exactly what your borders are and remove the IDF to behind those borders. Let Jews who remain in Palestinian areas of Judea and Samaria know that you will assist them in their evacuation and let the Palestinians know, in no uncertain terms, that Israel will retaliate against violence toward those Jews. And if you want to annex all of Judea and Samaria, which I do not recommend, then do that. But let’s wrap this up, shall we? The Arab world, and the international community, is holding you hostage. You need to free yourselves and in order to do that you must declare your final borders.Oslo is over and that you gives you the opportunity to take matters into your own hands.  Given the long history of Arab-Muslim persecution of the Jews in the Middle East you have every right to decide your own fate.I hope you do.Mike Lumish is the proprietor of the pro-Israel blog, Israel Thrives.

EZEKIEL 12:25
25  For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

EZEKIEL 5:17
17  So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

EZEKIEL 38:1-12
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog,(RULER) the land of Magog,(RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW)and Tubal,(TOBOLSK) and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog,(LEADER OF RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW) and Tubal:TOBOLSK)
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,(GOD FORCES THE RUSSIA-MUSLIMS TO MARCH) and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia,(IRAN,IRAQ) Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer,(GERMANY) and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (TURKEY)of the north quarters, and all his bands:(SUDAN,AFRICA) and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.(RUSSIA-EGYPT AND MUSLIMS)
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

EZEKIEL 39:1-8,11-18
1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog,(LEADER OF RUSSIA) and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech (MOSCOW) and Tubal: (TUBOLSK)
2 And I will turn thee back,(RUSSIA-ARAB MUSLIM ISRAEL HATERS) and leave but the sixth part of thee,(5/6TH OR 300 MILLION DEAD I BELIEVE) and will cause thee to come up from the north parts,(RUSSIA) and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,( ARABS) and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog,(NUCLEAR BOMB) and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog (RUSSIA/ARAB/MUSLIMS) a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers (EAST OF THE DEAD SEA IN JORDAN VALLEY) on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog (RUSSIAN) and all his multitude:(ARAB/MUSLIM HORDE) and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.(BURIEL SITE OF THE 300 MILLION,RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIMS)
12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.(OF ISRAEL)
13 Yea, all the people of the land (OF ISRAEL) shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I (GOD-JESUS) shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment,(NUCLEAR BOMB EXPERTS) passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it,(WON'T TOUCH IT) till the buriers have buried it (PROPERLY) in the valley of Hamongog.(RUSSIA/ARAB/MUSLIMS NEW BURIEL SITE)
16 And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.(OF THE ISRAEL-GOD HATERS)
17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl,(500 MILLION MIGRATING BIRDS THREW ISRAEL EVERY SPRING,FALL) and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.(OF THE RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIM ARMIES)
18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And ye (MIGRATING BIRDS IN ISRAEL) shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.(RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIM ISRAEL HATERS)
20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
21 And I (GOD-JESUS) will set my glory among the heathen,(WORLD NATIONS) and all the heathen (WORLD NATIONS) shall see my judgment that I have executed,(AGAINST ISRAELS ENEMIES) and my (GODS) hand that I have laid upon them.(ISRAELS HATER ENEMIES)

13  The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

Israel reportedly threatens to cancel Gaza truce if Islamic Jihad heads enter Strip

Two of Iranian-linked group’s top officials planned to join Hamas leader Mashaal for visit on Friday

December 6, 2012, 8:38 pm 11-THE TIMES OF ISRAEL
GAZA CITY — Members of Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad say Israel has warned the militant group’s two top leaders against trying to enter the Gaza Strip this week. The pair, Ramadan Abdallah Shalah and his deputy Ziad Nakhaleh, had planned to visit Friday, along with the leader-in-exile of Hamas, Khaled Meshaal.Israel warned that it would consider the three-week truce with Gaza over should the Islamic Jhad leaders enter the Strip, according to two Islamic Jihad members, who said the message was relayed by Egypt. The two spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to discuss the issue with the media.Islamic Jihad is Hamas’s sister group and was instrumental in helping the terror group battle Israel during last month’s Gaza mini-war. The group is considered more hard-line by Israel, though it was party to the truce agreement between Israel and Hamas.Israel and Gaza’s ruling Hamas have been holding indirect talks, through Egypt, following Operation Pillar of Defense, which Israel launched to halt Gazan rocket fire on Israeli civilians. The Defense Ministry had no immediate comment.Times of Israel staff contributed to this report.

Iranian warships dock in Sudan for second time, angering Saudis

Presence of vessels is part of ongoing cooperation between the two countries, says Sudanese military spokesman

Two Iranian warships docked in Port Sudan for the second time in less than two months in recent days, angering Saudi Arabia, which provides crucial aid money to the African nation. The stated purpose of the visit was to refuel the Iranian vessels, whose presence in Sudan is part of the military cooperation between the two nations, according to a Sudanese military spokesman. In October, the Islamic Republic sent two navy ships to Port Sudan just days after an attack on a munitions factory near Khartoum. Sudan blamed Israel for that attack.Israeli officials did not respond to the accusations but rather blamed Sudan for providing aid to Hamas terrorists in Gaza, in part by smuggling Iranian weapons into the Strip.Israel charges that Iran provides Gazan terrorist groups with weapons, including rockets, via Sudan. The weapons are smuggled across Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula and into the Gaza Strip through a network of smuggling tunnels under the 15-kilometer border.Sudan’s Vice President Al-Haj Adam Youssef said in November that his country is not intimidated by “Israeli aggression” and that it would continue to support Hamas. The cooperation between Sudan and Iran may hinder the former’s efforts to obtain aid from the Saudis, who are worried about Iranian influence in the region, according to regional experts cited by Reuters.“Sudan needs to understand that this visit will not be accepted by Saudi Arabia,” said Khalid al-Dakhil, a Saudi political analyst.Though Saudi Arabia has not officially commented on the warships, the kingdom’s pro-government daily Al-Riyadh warned that Sudan was risking its relationship with Gulf states.“Sudan is in a state of losing balance as it loses Arab friendship, especially of Gulf Arab states, who know the precise details of its alliance with Iran, politically and militarily,” stated an editorial in the paper on Saturday.

Egypt’s military warns of ‘disastrous consequences’ if crisis not resolved through dialogue

Only one opposition politician attends negotiations with Morsi on Saturday

Updated: December 8, 2012, 3:02 pm 0-THE TIMES OF ISRAEL
CAIRO (AP) — Egypt’s military warned Saturday of ‘disastrous consequences’ if the crisis that sent tens of thousands of protesters back into the streets is not resolved, signaling the army’s return to an increasingly polarized and violent political scene. The military said serious dialogue is the “best and only” way to overcome the nation’s deepening conflict over a disputed draft constitution hurriedly adopted by Islamist allies of President Mohammed Morsi, and recent decrees granting himself near-absolute powers.“Anything other than that (dialogue) will force us into a dark tunnel with disastrous consequences; something which we won’t allow,” the statement said.Failing to reach a consensus, “is in the interest of neither side. The nation as a whole will pay the price,” it added. The statement was read by an unnamed military official on state television.Egypt’s once all-powerful military, which temporarily took over governing the country after the revolution that ousted autocratic leader Hosni Mubarak, has largely been sidelined since handing over power to Morsi weeks after his election. But it has begun asserting itself again, with soldiers sealing off the presidential palace with tanks and barbed wire, as rival protests and street battles between Morsi’s supporters and his opponents turned increasingly violent. The statement said the military “realizes its national responsibility in protecting the nation’s higher interests” and state institutions. At least six civilians have been killed and several offices of the president’s Muslim Brotherhood set on fire since the crisis began on Nov. 22. The two sides also have staged a number of sit-ins around state institutions, including the presidential palace where some of the most violent clashes occurred.Images of the military’s elite Republican Guards unit surrounding the area around the palace showed one of the most high-profile troop deployment since the army handed over power to Morsi on June 30.A sit-in by Morsi’s opponents around the palace continued Saturday, with protesters setting up roadblocks with tanks behind them amid reports that the president’s supporters planned rival protests. By midday Saturday, TV footage showed the military setting up a new wall of cement blocks around the palace.Tensions have escalated since Morsi issued new decrees granting himself and an Islamist-dominated constitutional assembly immunity from oversight by the judiciary. The president’s allies then rushed through a constitution and he announced a Dec. 15 nationwide referendum on the charter.
Morsi has called for a national dialogue and scheduled a meeting on Saturday, but opponents say he must first cancel the referendum on the draft constitution and rescind his recent decrees.Only veteran liberal opposition politician Ayman Nour attended the meeting with Morsi on Saturday. The other eight delegates were Islamists. The president has insisted his decrees were meant to protect the country’s transition to democracy from former regime figures trying to derail it.

Rebels circle Damascus airport; Russia, U.S. downbeat

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Rebels fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad declared Damascus International Airport a battle zone on Friday, while Moscow and Washington both sounded downbeat about the prospects of a diplomatic push to end the conflict.Fighting around the capital city has intensified over the past week, and Western officials have begun speaking about faster change on the ground in a 20-month-old conflict that has killed 40,000 people. But Russia and the United States, the superpowers that have backed the opposing sides in the conflict, both played down the chance of a diplomatic breakthrough after talks aimed at resolving their differences."I don't think anyone believes that there was some great breakthrough," U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said of a meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and international mediator Lakhdar Brahimi."No one should have any illusions about how hard this remains. But all of us, with any influence, need to be engaged with Brahimi for a concerted, sincere push."Lavrov said the sides had agreed to send officials to another meeting with Brahimi, but also sounded a skeptical note.
"I would not make optimistic predictions ... It remains to be seen what will come out of this," he added, noting that Brahimi knows the chance of success is "far from 100 percent".Rebels, meeting in Turkey in the presence of Western security officials, elected a 30-member unified military command, giving prominent posts to Islamists and excluding some senior officers who defected from Assad's army.Washington and its NATO allies want to see Assad removed from power. Moscow has blocked action against him at the U.N. Security Council, and while outsiders repeatedly point to signs of Russia losing patience with him, its stance has not changed. The past week has brought a war previously fought mainly in the provinces and other cities to the threshold of the capital.Cutting access to the airport 20 km (12 miles) from the city center would be a symbolic blow. The rebels acknowledge the airport itself is still in army hands, but say they are blockading it from most sides."The rebel brigades who have been putting the airport under siege decided yesterday that the airport is a military zone," said Nabil al-Amir, a spokesman for the rebels' Damascus Military Council.
"Civilians who approach it now do so at their own risk," he said. Fighters had "waited two weeks for the airport to be emptied of most civilians and airlines" before declaring it a target, he added. He did not say what they would do if aircraft tried to land. Foreign airlines have suspended all flights to Damascus since fighting has approached the airport in the past week, although some Syrian Air flights have used the airport in recent days.Syria says the army is driving rebels back from positions in the suburbs and outskirts of Damascus where they have tried to concentrate their offensive. Accounts from rebels and the government are impossible to verify on the ground.
"SOME FIGHT LEFT IN THEM"
Although Western opponents of Assad believe events are tipping against him, they also acknowledge that the war is still far from over."It's very clear to me that the regime's forces are being ground down," U.S. ambassador to Syria Robert Ford, withdrawn last year, was quoted as saying by CNN. "That said, the regime's protection units continue to maintain some cohesion, and they still have some fight left in them, even though they are losing. I expect there will be substantial fighting in the days ahead."Rami Abdelrahman, of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which has tracked the fighting since it began in March 2011, said: "I think it's unrealistic to expect that the battle is in its last stages right now."The meeting of rebels in Antalya, Turkey, was aimed at forming a structure to run the conflict in conjunction with a new opposition National Coalition, which some European and Arab states have recognized as Syria's legitimate representatives.
One delegate at the meeting, who asked not to be identified, said two-thirds of the 30 members of the newly named command had ties with the Muslim Brotherhood or were its political allies."We are witnessing the result of the Qatari and Turkish creations," said the delegate, referring to leading anti-Assad countries that are seen as backing the Brotherhood.Colonel Riad Asaad, founder of the Syrian Free Army rebel force, and General Hussein Haj Ali, the highest-ranking officer to defect from Assad's military, were among those excluded.NATO decided this week to send U.S., German and Dutch batteries of air-defense missiles to the Turkish border, putting hundreds of American and European NATO troops close to the frontier with Syria for the first time in the crisis.Russia's ambassador to NATO said the move risked dragging the alliance into the conflict."This is not a threat to us, but this is an indication that NATO is moving toward engagement, and that's it," Alexander Grushko said. "We see a threat of further involvement of NATO in the Syrian situation as a result of some provocation or some incidents on the border, if they take place. The Dutch on Friday said they would send two Patriot batteries with up to 360 personnel. Germany approved its mission on Thursday.
The United States and its NATO allies have issued coordinated warnings in recent days to Assad not to use chemical weapons, prompting Syria to accuse Western countries of conjuring the threat to justify a military intervention.Syria has not signed an international chemical weapons treaty banning poison gas, but has repeatedly said that it would never use such weapons on its own people.United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said: "We have no confirmed reports on this matter. However, if it is the case, then it will be an outrageous crime in the name of humanity."(Additional reporting by David Brunnstrom in Belfast, Khaled Yacoub Oweis in Amman, Peter Apps in London, Steve Gutterman in Moscow and Adrian Croft in London; Writing by Douglas Hamilton and Peter Graff; Editing by Giles Elgood)

Obama sends Hanukkah message to Jews worldwide

US president and wife call for people of all faiths to commit to building a better world

December 8, 2012, 8:33 am

US President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, issued their annual Hanukkah message on Friday, citing the Maccabees and calling on people of all faith to commit to building a better world. The message in full is below. Some 69 percent of Jewish voters cast their ballot for the president in the US elections in November, according to exit polls released by The Washington Post. That number, though quite high, was a significant drop from the 78 percent support among Jews that Obama enjoyed in 2008.Obama’s relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel became a major topic for US Jews during the 2012 campaign, with Republican challenger and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney swaying some votes away from the president on the issue.
Michelle and I send our warmest wishes to all those celebrating Hanukkah around the world. This Hanukkah season we remember the powerful story of the Maccabees who rose up to liberate their people from oppression. Upon discovering the desecration of their Temple, the believers found only enough oil to light the lamp for one night. And yet it lasted for eight.Hanukkah is a time to celebrate the faith and customs of the Jewish people, but it is also an opportunity for people of all faiths to recognize the common aspirations we share. This holiday season, let us give thanks for the blessings we enjoy, and remain mindful of those who are suffering. And let us reaffirm our commitment to building a better, more complete world for all.
From our family to the Jewish Community around the world, Chag Sameach.

STORMS HURRICANES-TORNADOES

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;(MASS CONFUSION) the sea and the waves roaring;(FIERCE WINDS)
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.(FROM QUAKES,NUKES ETC)

THE FIRST JUDGEMENT OF THE EARTH STARTED WITH WATER-IT ONLY MAKES SENSE THE LAST GENERATION WILL BE HAVING FLOODING
GENESIS 7:6-12
6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
GOD PROMISED BY A RAINBOW-THE EARTH WOULD NEVER BE DESTROYED TOTALLY WITH A FLOOD AGAIN.BUT FLOODIING IS A SIGN OF JUDGEMENT.

Philippines declares state of calamity after deadly typhoon

NEW BATAAN, Philippines (Reuters) - Philippine President Benigno Aquino declared a state of national calamity on Saturday, four days after this year's strongest typhoon left nearly 1,000 people dead or missing mostly in the country's resource-rich south.A price freeze on basic commodities was put into effect, and local governments were authorized to utilize their calamity funds for search, relief and rescue operations. The national disaster agency put the death toll at 459 and a further 532 were missing, mostly in the Mindanao provinces of Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental.Thousands have been left homeless by typhoon Bopha which hit land on Tuesday with winds stronger than Hurricane Sandy that devastated the U.S. West Coast in October. The government sent sniffer dogs to the worst-hit provinces to help with the search for victims. Rescue workers have also requested heavy equipment to help clear debris."I don't know what to do, I really don't know where to look for them," Anna Joy Adlawan, a 14-year-old student told Reuters at an abandoned public market in New Bataan as she and two siblings searched for their mother and other relatives."The last time we heard from them was when my mother called us up asking for help because floodwaters were rising. When he got here on Wednesday, our house was gone and they were also gone.
"Last Friday, we found the body of our 7-year-old nephew, but we're still looking for eight more, and we will not stop until we find and give them proper burial."Bopha has weakened and is moving slowly north-northwest off the main Luzon island. An average of 20 typhoons hit the Philippines every year, some causing death and destruction.(Reporting by Erik de Castro, Rosemarie Francisco and Manuel Mogato; Editing by Jeremy Laurence)
