Introduction

The economic, political and social outlook for 2012 is profoundly negative. The almost universal consensus, even among mainstream orthodox economists is pessimistic regarding the world economy. Although, even here, their predictions understate the scope and depth of the crises, there are powerful reasons to believe that beginning in 2012, we are heading toward a steeper decline than what was experienced during the Great Recession of 2008 – 2009. With fewer resources, greater debt and increasing popular resistance to shouldering the burden of saving the capitalist system, the governments cannot bail out the system.Many of the major institutions and economic relations which were cause and consequence of world and regional capitalist expansion over the past three decades are in the process of disintegration and disarray. The previous economic engines of global expansion, the US and the European Union, have exhausted their potentialities and are in open decline. The new centers of growth, China, India, Brazil, Russia, which for a ‘short decade’ provided a new impetus for world growth have run their course and are de-accelerating rapidly and will continue to do so throughout the new year.

The Collapse of the European Union

Specifically, the crises wracked European Union will break up and the de facto multi-tiered structure will turn into a series of bilateral/multi-lateral trade and investment agreements. Germany , France , the Low and Nordic countries will attempt to weather the downturn. England – namely the City of London, in splendid isolation, will sink into negative growth, its financiers scrambling to find new speculative opportunities among the Gulf petrol-states and other niches. Eastern and Central Europe, particularly Poland and the Czech Republic , will deepen their ties to Germany but will suffer the consequences of the general decline of world markets. Southern Europe ( Greece , Spain , Portugal and Italy ) will enter into a deep depression as the massive debt payments fueled by savage assaults on wages and social benefits will severely reduce consumer demand.Depression level unemployment and under-employment running to one-third of the labor force will detonate year-long social conflicts, intensifying into popular uprisings. Eventually a break-up of the European Union is almost inevitable. The euro as a currency of choice will be replaced by or return to national issues accompanied by devaluations and protectionism. Nationalism will be the order of the day. Banks in Germany , France and Switzerland will suffer huge losses on their loans to the South. Major bailouts will become necessary, polarizing German and French societies, between the tax-paying majorities and the bankers. Trade union militancy and rightwing pseudo populism (neo-fascism) will intensify the class and national struggles.

A depressed, fragmented and polarized Europe will be less likely to join in any Zionist inspired US-Israeli military adventure against Iran (or even Syria ). Crises ridden Europe will oppose Washington ’s confrontationalist approach to Russia and China .

The US : The Recession Returns with a Vengeance

The US economy will suffer the consequences of its ballooning fiscal deficit and will not be able to spend its way out of the world recession of 2012. Nor can it count on exporting its way out of negative growth by turning to previously dynamic Asia, as China, India and the rest of Asia are losing economic steam. China will grow far below its 9% moving average. India will decline from 8% to 5% or lower. Moreover, the Obama regime’s military policy of encirclement, its economic policy of exclusion and protectionism will preclude any new stimulus from China .

Militarism Exacerbates the Economic Downturn

The US and England will be the biggest losers from the Iraqi post war economic reconstruction. Of $186 billion dollars in infrastructure projects, US and UK corporations will gain less than 5% (Financial Times, 12/16/11, p 1 and 3). A similar outcome is likely in Libya and elsewhere. US imperial militarism destroys an adversary, plunging into debt to do so, and non-belligerents reap the lucrative post-war economic reconstruction contracts.The US economy will fall into recession in 2012 and the jobless recovery of 2011 will be replaced by a steep increase of unemployment in 2012. In fact, the entire labor force will shrink as people losing their unemployment benefits will fail to register.Labor exploitation (productivity) will intensify as capitalists force workers to produce more, for less pay, thus widening the income gap between wages and profits.The economic downturn and growth of unemployment will be accompanied by savage cuts in social programs to subsidize financially troubled banks and industries. Dissatisfaction, hostility and frustration will pervade the culture. Democratic Party demagogues will scapegoat China ; the Republican Party demagogues will blame the immigrants. Both will fulminate against the Islamo-fascists and especially against Iran .

New Wars in the Midst of Crises: Zionists Pull the Trigger

China: Compensatory Mechanisms in 2012

China will face the global recession of 2012 with several possibilities of ameliorating its impact. Beijing can shift toward producing goods and services for the 700 million domestic consumers currently out of the economic loop. By increasing wages, social services and environmental safety, China can compensate for the loss of overseas markets. China ’s economic growth, which is largely dependent on real estate speculation, will be adversely affected when the bubble is burst. A sharp downturn will result, leading to job losses, municipal bankruptcies and increased social and class conflicts. This can result in either greater repression or gradual democratization. The outcome will profoundly affect China ’s market – state relations. The economic crisis will likely strengthen state control over the market.

Russia Faces the Crises

Russia ’s election of President Putin will lead to less collaboration in backing US promoted uprisings and sanctions against Russian allies and trading partners. Putin will turn toward greater ties with China and will benefit from the break-up of the EU and the weakening of NATO.The western media backed opposition will use its financial clout to erode Putin’s image and encourage investment boycotts though they will lose the Presidential elections by a big margin. The world recession will weaken the Russian economy and will force it to choose between greater public ownership or greater dependency on state funds to bail out prominent oligarchs.

Today they issued a shocking worldwide travel alert for U.S. citizens and non-citizens traveling to, and inside, the United States. This unprecedented announcement comes as heavy holiday season travel is underway, and the State Department claims it has the potential to become a full-blown travel warning.
Travel Alerts are issued to disseminate information about short-term conditions, either transnational or within a particular country, that pose significant risks to the security of U.S. citizens. according to the U.S. State Department.The situation is upgraded to a Travel Warning when long-term, protracted conditions that make a country dangerous or unstable lead the State Department to recommend that Americans avoid or consider the risk of travel to that country. A Travel Warning is also issued when the U.S. Government’s ability to assist American citizens is constrained due to the closure of an embassy or consulate or because of a drawdown of its staff.

The State Department stated that rogue operators inside the government accomplished a silent coup in America which has undermined personal liberty as the primary reason for issuing the alert. They claim that this coup has been underway for well over a decade, but has only become noticeable to the general public in the last few years. They said that the coup is so pervasive that nearly all elected officials may be involved.An anonymous official at the State Department boldly stated that they can no longer guarantee that U.S. citizens will be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures as preserved by the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution.The State Department warned that all U.S. citizens entering the United States from international flights will face probing questions as to their reasons for traveling abroad and be thoroughly searched before clearing customs. The now-absent concept of innocent until proven guilty then takes on new meaning if they have a connecting flight.Travelers will be forced to go through a full-body scanner which takes and records a detailed digital scan of each traveler to be used for flash identification in the future, while also soaking them with radiation levels said to contribute to cancer. Even more insidious, if citizens choose to opt out of the scanners they are to be made an example of by being pulled out of the line for physical inspection which includes groping of private parts and occasional strip-searching.Although these measures would have been unthinkable in America’s recent past, they have been in place for some time and they were not the trigger for the travel alert, but rather they’re cited as a small symptom of the coup cited by the State Department.

The main trigger came because of the cabal’s recent passing of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which declares American soil a war zone allowing for Martial Law, indefinite detention and torture of U.S. citizens without charge or trial, and which funds a massive expansion of TSA checkpoints within the United States. December 26, 2011 - In May 2011′s article The Siege of Syria, it was reported:The coverage by the corporate-owned Western media exclusively relies on activists inside and outside the country, the London-based Syrian Human Rights Monitoring Centre which apparently has no web presence, the Damascus Center for Human Rights which boasts memberships with the National Endowment for Democracy and Tides Foundation-funded International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, funded by the European Union, the Ford Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Open Society Institute, the Sigrid Rausing Trust, and Humanity United.Humanity United in turn boast partnerships with the BBC World Service Trust, NED/Open Society/US State Department-funded Benetech, the Open Society Institute, and the NED-funded Solidarity Center which mobilized Egypt’s labor unions just as the US-stoked unrest began to falter. In other words, every organization involved interlocks with the vast corporate/foundation-funded imperial network masquerading as individual human rights organizations and benign NGOs. In reality this civil society network seeks to supplant national governments, and interface with global institutions like the IMF, World Bank, and the UN, all of which have been contrived by corporate-financier oligarchs. It is a modern day empire in the making.The US National Endowment for Democracy’s journal, Democracy Digest, would report in their August 2011 article titled, Syrian military strained, as Clinton meets opposition activists,(warning: link automatically plays very loud video clip) that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights made one of many joint statements with the above mentioned US-funded Damascus Center for Human Rights. Meanwhile, Reuters featured a photograph of the Observatory’s head, Rami Abdelrahman, leaving a meeting with the British Foreign Minister William Hague.

REUTERS/Luke MacGregor.It is quite clear that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights based in London and receiving the entirety of their reports via phone & YouTube videos from Syria, is working in coordination with both US-funded NGOs and the British Foreign Minister. Considering that Hague similarly coddled Libyan opposition leaders in London while playing a key role in promoting the NATO attack on Libya and the subsequent installation of a BP oilman as prime minister, Abdelrahman’s consorting signifies a verbatim repeat of the now openly fraudulent and genocidal NATO campaign in Libya.Just as in Libya, where human rights activists have now admitted to fabricating the evidenceused by the International Criminal Court and the United Nations to rubber stamp Wall Street and London’s designs for regime change, likewise the evidence from Syria has turned out to be a complete fraud, derived by opposition witnesses and compiled by a corporate D.C. think-tank director into a UN human rights report.The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights serves as the exclusive source of reports coming out of Syria despite the fact that it is actually, entirely based in London. While it is verified that the NGOs it works in tandem with are US-funded, the Observatory itself fails to publish where its money comes from or the backgrounds of those that constitute its membership. We then, are expected to simply believe on face value a mysterious organization whose head meets with the British government and their unverified witness accounts as evidence to initiate military intervention at the cost of potentially millions of lives.

That the corporate-media has utterly failed to hold the Observatory accountable for its lack of transparency and parrots verbatim its absolutely unverified. undocumented reports as if they were factual gives us a new appreciation of the level on which we are being deceived across the Western world by the press.It is already confirmed that NATO-backed Libyan terrorists are on their way to Syria to oversee the Free Syria Army, led by Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) commander Abdul Belhaj. It should be noted that LIFG is currently listed by the US State Department as a foreign terrorist organization (#26). Shortly thereafter, two bombs detonated in Damascus killing 44 people.France24 reported that the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood’s official website claimed responsibility for the bombings, confirming that indeed, the protests were armed militants all along.Despite later retractions by the Brotherhood’s London-based leadership, mounting evidence suggests that NATO and its proxies are behind the unrest and increasing violence, while London-based NGOs like the Observatory disingenuously spin responsibility back onto the Syrian government as part of a malicious hoax aimed at triggering the same genocide and destruction that delivered Libyan into the hands of global corporate-fascism.
