EPHESIANS 6:10-13
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,(DEMONIC ANGELS IN HIGH PLACES) against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.(SPIRTIUAL DEMONIC PERSONS)
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
LUKE 4:5-7(BECAUSE SATAN OFFERS WORLD POWER, WORLD ORDERERS HAVE ACCEPTED SATANS GIFT)
5 And the devil, taking him (JESUS) up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
DANIEL 7:23-25
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
DANIEL 12:4,1
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
REVELATION 13:1-3,7,8,12,16-18
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
REVELATION 17:3,7,9-10,12,18
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent.James Paul Warburg appearing before the Senate on 7th February 1950
Like a famous WWII Belgian General,Paul Henry Spock said in 1957:We need no commission, we have already too many. What we need is a man who is great enough to be able to keep all the people in subjection to himself and to lift us out of the economic bog into which we threaten to sink. Send us such a man. Be he a god or a devil, we will accept him.And today, sadly, the world is indeed ready for such a man.

President Lee Calls for Institutionalization of G-20 Summit SEPT 20,09
President Lee Myung-bak on Sunday pushed for the G-20 to take permanent leadership of the global economy, as the ongoing global financial crisis and other challenges have required the involvement of a larger number of countries, Yonhap News reported.
The South Korean leader departed for the United States later in the day to attend the third G-20 summit slated for Friday in Pittsburgh, Penn. He will attend a U.N. summit on climate change in New York before heading to the G-20 gathering. As seen in the coordinated response to the current crisis through the G-20, the positive effects of globally coordinated policy responses far outweigh unilateral actions by individual countries combined,Lee was quoted as saying in an article contributed to the G-8 Research Center of Canada's University of Toronto. The G-20 summit, consisting of 20 advanced and developing economies, took on an expanded role in the wake of the global economic debacle that started last year, replacing the leadership of the Group of Eight (G-8) advanced economies. The G-20 summit process has already shown its usefulness in effectively dealing with major global issues for speedier globally concerted actions,President Lee said.Furthermore, I would like to re-emphasize the fact that what made the current global financial and economic crisis different from the Great Depression in its severity and duration is definitely the globally concerted policy endeavors mounted, especially on the part of the G-20,Lee said.
It is my sincere hope that the G-20 leaders in Pittsburgh will agree on the fourth G-20 summit where a full discussion on post-crisis global economic management and sustainable and balanced global growth models can take place,he added.South Korea is hoping to host the fourth G-20 summit early next year when it will assume the chairmanship of the forum. At the fourth G-20 summit, the leaders should seriously consider the institutionalization of the G-20 process as a means to strengthen global governance,Lee said. The risks of a premature withdrawal of global efforts to fight the ongoing crisis also demand continued leadership of the G-20, the South Korean leader said.I hope that the G-20 leaders recognize the need to properly prepare exit strategies for future implementation in a timely manner when the global recovery takes a firm hold,he said. The global community should be more wary about the possibility of falling back into a double-dip recession as a consequence of the premature withdrawal of rather effective policy measures taken so far,Lee added.
Protesters hope to highlight issues at G-20 summit By RAMIT PLUSHNICK-MASTI and DAN NEPHIN, Associated Press Writers – Sat Sep 19, 11:35 pm ET
PITTSBURGH – An anti-war group plans to set up a tent city during the Group of Twenty economic summit this week to focus attention on the plight of women and children made refugees by war.
The group, Code Pink, will be among many groups and thousands of activists aiming to use the G-20 summit to spotlight causes including the environment and social injustice.History shows protesters can successfully use media-saturated events to push their causes, such as when demonstrators at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul were credited with forcing South Korea's shift to democracy, said Mauro Guillen, a globalization expert at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
They just want to attract the attention away from the official agenda and put other things on the agenda,Guillen said.Protests can also turn violent. In 1999, 50,000 protesters shut down World Trade Organization sessions in Seattle as police fired tear gas and rubber bullets. There were some 600 arrests and $3 million in property damage. At the most recent G-20 meeting, held in London in April, thousands of people protested, and one man died after a confrontation with police.Domenico Lombardi, who sits on the advisory board of the G-20 research group that provides materials to the G-20 participants — 19 world leaders and representatives of the European Union who control more than 85 percent of the world's money — said the summit is a good target for protesters. One of the most prominent issues raised by protesters involves globalization, a term that encompasses everything from technologies to economic policies that have made the world borderless and interdependent,Guillen explains.Protesters say the ill effects of globalization can be seen in developing countries disproportionately affected by fluctuating commodity prices or communities left dangling when industries move to other places, Guillen said. It's useful to think about winners and losers, and as a society, it's important to remember the losers,he said. What do you do about the people who are being left behind?
Fathali Moghaddam, a Georgetown University psychology professor whose book The New Global Insecurity comes out in January, said all issues are linked to globalization. For example, Moghaddam calls the environmental protesters green fundamentalists who believe that globalization is ruining the environment, ruining local economies, ruining local cultures and that corporate values are being put above everything else and corporate values are global. The enemy they see out there are these political leaders who they believe represent either corporate interest or imperial interest or some interest that is helping globalization,Moghaddam said.None of the summit members represents a poor country, and the issues that really affect large areas of the world are not being tackled, added Lombardi, also a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution's Global Economy and Development Program. Now that they are faced with the pleasant prospect of rebound of the global economy ... they can focus on broader issues, such as climate change, sustainable growth, food security, issues of interest to the world at-large,Lombardi said. The more organized and established protest groups have scheduled events for the week. One of the larger events, The People's March, is being organized for Friday by the Thomas Merton Center, a Pittsburgh activist group that cites peace and social justice as its objectives.I think part of this is public education and public involvement, getting the word out on the many issues that exist, spokeswoman Melissa Minnich said. The G-20 isn't simple enough that you can sum it up in one issue.Pete Shell, of the group's anti-war committee, said instead of funding wars, the U.S. ought to be investing in jobs, housing issues and alternative energy. On Wednesday, several thousand people are expected downtown for a festival and rally for clean energy jobs at the city's Point State Park. The event is organized by state Sen. Jim Ferlo, D-Allegheny, and involves the United Steelworkers union and the Alliance for Climate Protection, founded by former Vice President Al Gore.Code Pink's Pittsburgh director, Francine Porter, said she hopes her group's tent city in Point State Park from Sunday night to Tuesday night will be a reflection of the suffering of refugees.
Porter, a critical care nurse and mother of two who lives in the suburbs, said she became an activist after the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. She had begun to question the world around her and wondered why others would cause America harm and why the U.S. declared war on Iraq. Her husband is a staunch Republican who she said doesn't agree with her activism, which she says has taken time away from her daughters, ages 12 and 16. The other night, she spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with an attorney preparing for a federal court case on whether Code Pink could use the park. The group won.For a really long time, I wasn't conscious and I wasn't active, she said. But there's no going back. I can't imagine my life any other way.
Obama faces leadership test at U.N., G20 Sun Sep 20, 2009 11:31am EDT
By Caren Bohan
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama begins his biggest week yet on the world stage, facing pressure for results on an agenda of rekindling Middle East peace talks, tackling climate change and reshaping financial regulations.Obama's global starpower remains strong but doubts are emerging about what he can deliver in a week in which he will make his United Nations debut and host a financial summit.
The nuclear dispute with Iran and the Afghanistan war will be among the top issues as Obama begins three days of U.N. meetings on Tuesday. He will lay out his foreign policy vision in his first speech to the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday. In the shadow of a financial meltdown that triggered fears of another Great Depression, he will lead a summit of the Group of 20 biggest economies on Thursday and Friday in Pittsburgh.Obama got a rapturous welcome overseas when he succeeded President George W. Bush eight months ago, winning plaudits for his rhetorical gifts, his multicultural background and his promise to break with Bush's unpopular go-it-alone style. He has made major strides toward keeping his pledge to restore Washington's reputation abroad, but analysts say he needs more concrete results to show for it.
Russia and China have not agreed to new sanctions on Iran, Europe will not send significantly more troops to Afghanistan and his efforts to jump-start Middle East peace appear set to yield only a three-way meeting in New York that the White House hopes will lay a foundation to resume talks in the future. At home, Obama's once sky-high approval ratings have tumbled in recent months amid a heated debate over his proposal to reform the healthcare system as well as doubts about his handling of the economy.
EUPHORIA BEGINS TO FADE
Analysts said Obama's weaker domestic popularity probably would not undercut his leadership at the United Nations and G20. But there will be less of the euphoria that marked the summits of his first months in office, including a whirlwind European tour in April where he got a rock-star reception. We are past this euphoric moment where the president is making his introduction onto the world stage, said Heather Conley, a European affairs expert at the CSIS think tank.As we transition from this great euphoria, I think we're starting to see a little bit of disquiet set in,Conley said, adding that European leaders were impatient for Obama to turn details into action on climate change and financial reform. The rancor over healthcare has left in doubt Obama's hopes of passing climate legislation before the Copenhagen global warming summit in December. The bill under consideration falls short of the robust measures Europe had hoped to see.Europeans, blaming Wall Street recklessness for the crisis that plunged the world into recession, also worry the drive to tighten U.S. financial rules may get sidelined in Congress.A fight had been looming at the G20 over bonuses for bank executives but leaders have signaled movement toward a compromise. French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who has pushed bonus caps, had threatened to walk out of the G20 over the issue but has since softened his stance.
Obama opposes caps but supports ways to recalibrate pay to remove incentives for recklessness, and the Federal Reserve is close to proposing new rules on the issue.
With the G20 set to consider ways to revive the stalled Doha round of world trade talks, Obama's decision to slap new tariffs on Chinese tires is expected to hamper his ability to lead a call against protectionism and has upset Beijing.James Lindsay, a former Clinton administration adviser, said Obama would receive a warm reception from foreign leaders but reality is setting in.Expectations for what President Obama was going to deliver were far too high,he added. The reality of the presidency is that the moment he starts to make decisions, he starts alienating people. There's always going to be disappointment because countries have read into Obama all of their hopes and dreams, said Lindsay, who is now at the Council on Foreign Relations.
BREAKTHROUGHS UNLIKELY ON MIDEAST
Obama is to sit down on Tuesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas but no breakthroughs are expected.Obama's agenda in New York includes one-on-one talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Chinese President Hu Jintao and new Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama.A top focus at the United Nations will be preparations for talks planned for October 1 between Iran and other world powers, including the United States.Obama vowed during his campaign to pursue broader engagement abroad, including with Tehran, but unrest in Iran after its disputed June election has complicated that pledge.Obama has sought Russian and Chinese support for ratcheting up pressure on Iran over its nuclear enrichment program. In a move Obama insisted was not aimed at placating Russia, he has said he will shelve a Bush-era missile defense plan for Eastern Europe and replace it with a new version. Obama has faced criticism at home from Republicans who accuse him of weakening Western security and making a concession to Russia.Obama on Thursday will become the first U.S. president to chair a U.N. Security Council summit. He will focus on nuclear non-proliferation.(Reporting by Caren Bohan; Editing by Paul Simao)
IMF chief urges G20 to rebalance economy By Krishna Guha September 19 2009 03:00
World leaders should make rebalancing the world economy the priority for next week's Group of 20 summit in Pittsburgh, says the head of the International Monetary Fund.In an interview with the Financial Times, Dominique Strauss-Kahn urged the G20 leading industrialised and developing nations to provide the political leadership that had been missing in past efforts to reduce economic imbalances while supporting global growth. We need to have rebalancing of growth and increase in consumption in the emerging markets to have enough growth in the short term,he said.We also need to define what the long-term growth model will be.Mr Strauss-Kahn's comments endorse a US-led push to make more balanced global growth - less reliant on debt-fuelled consumption by US consumers - a key theme of the Pittsburgh summit. The IMF chief said his organisation had been stressing the need to rebalance the global economy for some time.Multilateral consultations have been held on this topic with conclusions accepted on all sides and nothing happened,he said.We need the G20 to put some steam behind this. The G20 can provide the political leadership while the IMF can provide expertise and capacity. The IMF or World Bank is unable to do this alone.G20 officials have discussed a peer-review process by which they would hold each other account-able for implementing policies that move in this direction.
The US drive is backed by most European nations, but China appears wary that such a process could be used to put pressure on it to reduce its trade surplus and revalue its currency. What they need to do is to try to define together what is the realistic path of adjustment, said Mr Strauss-Kahn.He said that global imbalances - big differences in national savings, consumption and investment rates reflected in large trade deficits and surpluses - were bad and can be causes of disruptions. There was no reason why we would want a situation in the long term in which there are countries with large surpluses and countries with large deficits,he added. In the short term, the crisis had resulted in some narrowing of imbalances, with China boosting domestic demand through loans and government spending at a time when there has been a striking increase in US household savings. But Mr Strauss-Kahn pointed out that higher US savings meant that US consumption would no longer drive global activity. The question is what will be the global growth engine? There is no easy answer. The US consumer will consume less; Chinese consumers, Indian consumers, Brazilian consumers will probably consume more. But will the second group offset the first one? It is not obvious,he said. Moreover, the Chinese consumer is not going to buy the same types of goods that the US consumer bought in the past. The challenge was to find new sources of growth for the world and make sure that trend growth is higher after the crisis than before.Editorial Comment, Page 7
IMF approves $13bn gold sale to aid poor states By Andrew Clark in New York
guardian.co.uk, Saturday 19 September 2009
The International Monetary Fund has approved a sale of 403 metric tonnes of gold reserves, in a move likely to raise $13bn (£8bn) of cash to replenish its coffers for lending to low-income countries hit by the global economic downturn. The sale amounts to roughly an eighth of the institution's stockpile of the precious metal and comes as gold prices hit record highs, boosted by investors seeking safety away from volatile stockmarkets.Dominque Strauss-Kahn, the IMF's managing director, said sales would be conducted in a responsible and transparent manner that avoids disruption to the gold market. Speaking after a meeting of the IMF's executive committee, he said the initiative would put the financing of the IMF on a sound long-term footing and enable us to step up much needed concessional lending to the poorest countries.Among those pushing for the IMF to raise funds was Gordon Brown, who urged his counterparts to agree a sale at a meeting of G20 countries in London in April.Charities have also been pressing for a sale of gold. A coalition including Oxfam and the campaigner Bob Geldof has been urging the IMF to raise as much as $5bn.
Possible buyers for some of the gold include China, Russia and India, which are keen to reduce their holdings of US dollars, wary of the size of America's burgeoning budget deficit. A portion of the gold is likely to be auctioned on the open market.
The price of gold has topped $1,012 a troy ounce in recent months, slipping by $3.10 yesterday to $1,009.20. A single troy ounce is roughly 31.1 grams. The last time the IMF sold a significant quantity of gold was in 2000, when the 186-nation Washington-based institution was prompted to raised funds by economic crises in Brazil and Mexico.A portion of the proceeds from the gold sale will go towards establishing a permanent endowment for the IMF – a project which has raised opposition among conservative critics who view it as a way for the IMF to guarantee its existence.
Merkel Presses G20 to Make Progress By REUTERS Published: September 18, 2009
Filed at 10:35 a.m. ET
Skip to next paragraph BERLIN (Reuters) - The Group of 20 economic powers must produce concrete results at a summit next week that go beyond the agreements they reached at a meeting in April, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Friday. The Pittsburgh G20 summit, the third since the demise of Lehman Brothers a year ago which raised fears of another Great Depression, is set to focus on tougher financial regulation and what comes next, now that there are tentative signs of recovery. It is very important that we get concrete results that go well beyond what was agreed in London,Merkel told a news conference in Berlin. The G20 agreed in London to extend regulation and oversight to all systemically important financial institutions, instruments and markets and Merkel wants world leaders to agree a regime to give this pledge substance.A new framework for financial market regulation should be in place by the middle of next year, she said, pressing Germany's drive for tighter regulation to rein in the unbridled capitalism it blames for the global crisis.
World leaders are especially sensitive to the fact that many voters believe big bonuses led to excessive risk-taking in the banking sector and helped trigger the crisis.A deal on curbing bankers' bonus is of particular interest to Merkel, who is seeking re-election in a vote on September 27, just after she returns from Pittsburgh.European Union leaders agreed on Thursday to seek curbs on bankers' bonuses at the summit and said they wanted evidence the recession is over before they stop spending to prop up their economies.EU Monetary Affairs chief Joaquin Almunia said it is likely the G20 will agree to set limits on bankers' bonuses. It is possible to fix limits, conditions...I think this is the most likely outcome of the G20 meeting next week,he told Spain's Cadena Ser radio.Almunia also said a so-called "Tobin tax" on world financial transactions is an excellent idea but needs work before it could be put into practice.Merkel said late on Thursday the possibility of a global tax on financial market deals had been discussed by EU leaders at a meeting in Brussels, adding that the idea was brought up by Germany and Austria with support from Britain and France.German Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck said on Friday he would press the G20 to examine the idea at the Pittsburgh summit but that he did not see a consensus on the issue.
The G20 leaders are also set to discuss how the world can stop the global imbalances that have plagued the world economy for so many years reappearing when recovery finally comes.Policymakers are trying to work out where economic growth can come from if the U.S. consumer is no longer able to drive prosperity and are looking for ways to ensure surplus countries boost their own demand and deficit countries save more. But they are also conscious that the crisis may have actually made it harder to persuade surplus countries not to build up large currency reserves to protect themselves against future credit crunches.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the International Monetary Fund could help.
The IMF and the World Bank must have the tools they need to help countries manage and insure themselves against the risk of future crises,Brown wrote in a letter to fellow EU leaders. This could involve improvements to IMF facilities to make them attractive to a wider range of countries, the development and integration of regional reserve pooling arrangements, and the use by the multilateral development banks of innovative new facilities, to provide protection against sudden stops in global capital flows,he added.(Additional reporting by Noah Barkin in Berlin, by Sumeet Desai in London and by Robert Hetz in Madrid; Editing by Victoria Main)
Brown and Sarkozy reaffirm G20 goals Pakistan Times UK Bureau SEPT 20,09
LONDON (UK): British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said the UK and France will work together to ensure the fragile world economy can recover and that G20 leaders agree a long term strategy for future growth.Gordon Brown met French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris for several hours on Tuesday ahead of a European Council on Thursday and the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh next week. The two leaders also discussed climate change goals for Copenhagen in December, said an electronic message received by Pakistan Times [Daily e-Newspaper] from 10 Downing on Saturday. On the economy, Brown said cooperation around the globe was vital. The message we are sending out to the world this evening is that we must all work together, each continent, each country, to secure the action that is necessary to boost levels of growth in the world economy and to create jobs so that we can deal with the problem of unemployment. On climate change, the PM said both the UK and France agreed that goals for Copenhagen should include sound climate targets and a financial agreement for poorer nations.First, we must get an agreement on overall climate change targets, secondly we must have intermediate agreements so that people can show that they are making progress in the next few years, and thirdly we must have a financial agreement so that the developing countries that have to make changes in the way they use energy, get the support that they need from the international community.

Swine flu could kill millions unless rich nations give £900m - UN report says pandemic may result in anarchy unless western world pays for antiviral drugs and vaccines Rajeev Syal The Observer, Sunday 20 September 2009
A woman wears a mask as preventive measure against swine flu, at Sassoon hospital in Pune, India, Aug 11, 2009. Photograph: Dhiraj Singh/AP The swine flu pandemic could kill millions and cause anarchy in the world's poorest nations unless £900m can be raised from rich countries to pay for vaccines and antiviral medicines, says a UN report leaked to the Observer. The disclosure will provoke concerns that health officials will not be able to stem the growth of the worldwide H1N1 pandemic in developing countries. If the virus takes hold in the poorest nations, millions could die and the economies of fragile countries could be destroyed.Health ministers around the globe were sent the warning on Thursday in a report on the costs of averting a humanitarian disaster in the next few months. It comes as officials inside the World Health Organisation, the UN's public health body, said they feared they would not be able to raise half that amount because of the global downturn.
Gregory Hartl of WHO said the report required an urgent response from rich nations. There needs to be recognition that the whole world is affected by this pandemic and the chain is only as strong as its weakest link. We have seen how H1N1 has taken hold in richer nations and in the southern hemisphere. We have been given fair warning and must act soon,he said. The report was drawn up by UN officials over the last two months. It was commissioned in July after Ban ki-moon, the UN's secretary general, expressed concern that the H1NI virus could have a severe impact on the world's poorest countries. It paints a disastrous picture for the world's most vulnerable people unless there is immediate action. There is a window in which it will be possible to help poor countries get as ready as they can for H1N1 and that window is closing rapidly,it says.Countries where health services are overburdened by diseases, such as HIV/Aids, tuberculosis and malaria, will have great difficulty managing the surge of cases. And if the electricity and water sectors are not able to maintain services, this will have serious implications for the ability of the health sector to function. If suppliers of fuel, food, telecommunications, finance or transport services have not developed plans as to how they would continue to deliver their services, the consequences could be significantly intensified,it adds.
The 47-page report provides a detailed breakdown of the basic needs of 75 vulnerable countries with the weakest capacity to withstand an escalation of the virus. Six countries from Latin America, including Cuba and Bolivia, 21 countries from Asia and the Pacific such as North Korea and Bangladesh, and 40 countries from Africa such as Congo and Eritrea are included in the survey.UN officials say in the report that £700m should be spent on antiviral drugs and vaccines to protect health care workers and other essential personnel as well as cover those suffering from severe illness. They have identified 85 countries that do not have the ability to access vaccines from any other source and intend to cover 5-10% of each population.A further £147m should be put aside to organise vaccine campaigns, improve communications, monitor levels of illness and improve laboratory capacity in 61 countries, the report claims. The remainder should be used to pay for the WHO and other UN-related organisations to help in these countries as well as an emergency fund for additional antiviral medicines, it argues. The UN's efforts were boosted last week when nine countries, including Britain and the US, pledged to give the equivalent of a 10% share of their swine flu vaccine supply to help fight the deadly virus's global spread. In Britain, Douglas Alexander, the development secretary, pledged to give £23m.Some officials within WHO believe, however, that this will not be enough. One said that richer countries were reluctant to pay out all of the money that was needed. The downturn means that governments countries are reluctant to give,he said.
Another said: The money is a trickle, not a flood. It is going to be a struggle. If we are not careful, the virus could destroy a burgeoning economy or democracy. The UN's request for the money comes as the virus begins to establish itself in some of the world's most vulnerable countries. On Wednesday, health officials told one website that the African continent had recorded 8,187 confirmed cases of swine flu and 41 deaths.Swine flu was declared a pandemic in June and has since been identified in 180 countries. Pandemic experts believe that the western world, including Britain, is facing a second wave of the virus.
Ten Swine Flu Lies Told by the Mainstream Media
Mike Adams Natural News September 19, 2009
The mainstream media is engaged in what we Americans call bald faced lies about swine flu. It seems to be true with this issue more than any other, and it became apparent to me recently when a colleague of mine — a nationally-syndicated newspaper columnist — told me their column on natural defenses for swine flu was rejected by newspapers all across the country. Many newspapers refused to run the column and, instead, ran an ad for free vaccine clinics in the same space. The media is so deeply in bed with the culture of vaccinations that they will do almost anything to keep the public misinformed. The media, it seems, is so deeply in bed with the culture of vaccinations that they will do almost anything to keep the public misinformed. And that includes lying about swine flu vaccines. There are ten key lies that continue to be told by the mainstream media (MSM) about swine flu and swine flu vaccines.
Lie #1 – There are no adjuvants used in the vaccines
I was recently being interviewed by a major U.S. news network when the reporter interviewing me came up with this humdinger: There are no adjuvants being used in the swine flu vaccines, he said! I assured him that adjuvants were, indeed, a crucial part of the vaccine recipe, and they were being widely used by drug companies to stretch the vaccine supply. It’s no secret. But he insisted he had been directly told by a drug company rep that no adjuvants were being used at all. And he believed them! So everything being published by this large news network about swine flu vaccines now assumes there are no adjuvants in the vaccines at all.
Lie #2 – The swine flu is more dangerous than seasonal flu
This lie is finally starting to unravel. I admit that in the early days of this pandemic, even I was concerned this could be a global killer. But after observing the very mild impact the virus was having on people in the real world, it became obvious that this was a mild flu, no more dangerous than a seasonal flu.The MSM, however, continues to promote H1N1 swine flu as being super dangerous, driving fear into the minds of people and encouraging them to rush out and get a vaccine shot for a flu that’s really no more likely to kill them than the regular winter sniffles. Sure, the virus could still mutate into something far worse, but if it does that, the current vaccine could be rendered obsolete anyway!
Lie #3 – Vaccines protect you from swine flu
This is the biggest lie of all, and the media pushes it hard. Getting a vaccine, they insist, will protect you from the swine flu. But it’s just flat-out false. Even if the vaccine produces antibodies, that’s not the same thing as real-world immunity from a live virus, especially if the virus mutates (as they often do).As I pointed out in a recent article, statistically speaking the average American is 40 times more likely to be struck by lightning than to have their life saved by a swine flu vaccine. (http://www.naturalnews.com/026955_s…)
Lie #4 – Vaccines are safe
And how would any journalists actually know this? None of the vaccines have been subjected to real-world testing for any meaningful duration. The safety of these vaccines is nothing more than wishful thinking. The MSM also doesn’t want you to know what’s in the vaccines. Some vaccines are made from viral fragments grown in diseased African monkeys. If that sounds incredible, read the true story here: http://www.naturalnews.com/026779_s…
Lie #5 – The vaccine isn’t mandatory
You hear this lie all the time: The swine flu vaccine shot is voluntary, they say. But it’s not true if you’re an employee at a place where vaccines are being mandated. Millions of Americans are now being told by their employers that if they don’t get vaccine shots, they will be effectively fired from their jobs. It’s especially true with health care workers, day care employees and school teachers.
Lie #6 – Getting a vaccine shot is a good bet on your health
In reality, a vaccine shot is far more likely to harm you than help you. According to one viral expert, the actual mortality rate of the swine flu virus is estimated to be as low as .007 percent (http://www.reuters.com/article/heal…). That means H1N1 swine flu kills less than one person in 100,000. Even if the vaccine works, let’s say, 10 percent of the time, you’d have to vaccine one million people to prevent one death from swine flu.And in vaccinating one million people, you would inevitably harm or kill several people, simply from the vaccine side effects! Your net risk of death is increased by getting a swine flu vaccine.
Lie #7 – The vaccine isn’t made with attenuated live virus.
When the swine flu vaccines were first being announced several months ago, they were described as being made with attenuated live virus. This was directly mentioned in CDC documents, among other places. This term apparently freaked out the American news consumer, and it has since been all but erased from any discussion about vaccines. Now, journalists will actually argue with you and insist the vaccines contain no attenuated live viruses whatsoever.Except they’re wrong. The vaccines are, indeed, made with attenuated live viruses. That’s how you make a vaccine: You take live viruses, then you weaken them (attenuate) and inject them into people.
Lie #8 – Wash, wash, wash your hands (to avoid exposure)
This idea of washing your hands a hundred times a day is all based on the assumption that you can avoid exposure to the swine flu virus. But that’s impractical. The virus is now so widespread that virtually everyone is certain to be exposed to it through the air if not other means. This whole idea of avoiding exposure to the swine flu virus is nonsense. The conversation should shift to ways to survive exposure via a healthy immune system.Of course, hand washing is a very good idea in a hospital setting. Recent news reveals that doctors are too busy to wash their own hands, resulting in the rampant spread of superbugs throughout most large hospitals in first world nations.
Lie #9 – Children are more vulnerable to swine flu than adults
This is just a flat-out lie, but it makes for good vaccine sales. Vaccines are right now being targeted primarily to schoolchildren.
But the truth is that swine flu is extremely mild in children. It’s mildest in kids, says Dr Marc Lipsitch of Harvard University. That’s one of the really good pieces of news in this pandemic.” Reuters actually had the guts to report this story, but most of the larger media outlets are still reporting that children are the most vulnerable.
Lie #10 – There is nothing else you can do beyond a vaccine and Tamiflu
This is where the media lies by omission. The mainstream media absolutely refuses to print just about any story that talks about using vitamin D, anti-viral herbs or natural remedies to protect yourself from swine flu. In the MSM, there are two options and only two: Vaccines and Tamiflu. That’s it. No other options exist in their fictional reality. Why is the mainstream media so afraid to print the truth these days? Why can’t reporting on swine flu see the light of day… literally, with a mention of sunlight and vitamin D? Apparently, Big Pharma has such a tight grip on mainstream newspapers that no true story on swine flu can ever make it past the editor’s desk.
Killing stories, deceiving the public
It must really be depressing to work for the mainstream media. Even the reporters I know can’t stand it. The truth, they admit, rarely makes it into print.Over the last few years, I’ve had a couple of job offers from large media outlets. They want to pay me a six-figure salary and stick me behind a desk where they can control what I report. Needless to say, I routinely reject those offers. If I can’t write the truth like I do here on NaturalNews.com, there’s no point writing at all. In too many ways, the mainstream media has become little more than a corporate mouthpiece, whoring itself out to the highest bidder / advertiser. It’s no fault of the frontline reporters who actually work there. For the most part, they agree with what I’m saying. It’s the fault of the profit-oriented corporate mindset where news is about selling newspapers rather than actually informing the public.Important news stories get killed every day in the newsrooms across America. They get killed not because they are poorly investigated or poorly written, but because they upset advertisers and corporate string pullers who shape the news and reject any stories that threaten their own financial interests. Here in 2009, the distorted reporting on the swine flu vaccine has been one of the greatest media frauds ever perpetrated. The media has in every way contributed to the widespread ignorance of the American people on the subject of vitamin D and natural immune-boosting defenses that could reduce swine flu fatalities. Rather than informing readers, the MSM has made it a point to keep the people stupid, and in doing so, the media has failed its only mission and betrayed the very audience is claims to serve.

NASA launches rocket, dozens report strange lights Sun Sep 20, 12:29 am ET
WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. – NASA says it successfully launched a rocket in Virginia as part of an experiment, and the blast may have caused dozens of people to report seeing strange lights in the sky.The space agency said it launched the Black Brant XII on Saturday evening to gather data on the highest clouds in the Earth's atmosphere. About the time of the launch, dozens of people in the Northeast started calling local television stations to report seeing strange lights. The calls came from as far away as Boston, which is about 380 miles northeast of the launch site.
The rocket is designed to create an artificial cloud. NASA hopes the experiment will provide information on the formation and properties of noctilucent clouds, which occur at high altitudes.

2 Colorado men, 1 NYC man arrested in terror probe SEPT 20,09 By IVAN MORENO, Associated Press Writer – SEPT 20,09
DENVER – The FBI arrested a 24-year-old Colorado man on charges of making false statements to federal agents in an ongoing terror investigation, and supporting documents contend the man admitted receiving weapons and explosives training from al-Qaida in Pakistan.Najibullah Zazi of the Denver suburb of Aurora was arrested late Saturday after undergoing three days of questioning by the FBI. Zazi, a legal permanent resident from Afghanistan, was due to appear in federal court on Monday.
Also arrested were Zazi's father, Mohammed Wali Zazi, 53, in Denver; and an associate, Ahmad Wais Afzali, 37, of Queens, N.Y., the Justice Department said Sunday. Both also were charged with making false statements to federal agents, a charge that carries a penalty of eight years in prison. Court appearances for both also were set for Monday.Zazi has repeatedly denied to reporters any connection to al-Qaida or to a purported terrorist plot.A senior U.S. intelligence official in Washington told The Associated Press Friday that Zazi has indicated that he is directly linked with al-Qaida. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in order to discuss intelligence matters, said Zazi played a crucial role in an intended terrorist attack but that it was not immediately clear what the targets were. The FBI is investigating several individuals in the United States, Pakistan and elsewhere in an alleged plot to detonate explosive devices in the United States, the Justice Department said in a statement. The arrests carried out tonight are part of an ongoing and fast-paced investigation, said David Kris, assistant attorney general for national security. It is important to note that we have no specific information regarding the timing, location or target of any planned attack.A joint FBI-New York Police Department task force feared Zazi may have been involved in a potential plot involving hydrogen peroxide-based explosives like those cited in an intelligence warning issued Monday, according to two other law enforcement officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the investigation. Zazi denies any ties to al-Qaida or terrorism.
In supporting documents filed with the court, investigators say Zazi admitted to FBI agents last week that in 2008 he received weapons and explosives training from al-Qaida in the federally administered tribal areas of Pakistan. The terror probe gathered momentum after Zazi rented a car and drove from Denver to New York, crossing into Manhattan on Sept. 10. Zazi said he went to New York to resolve some issues with a coffee cart he owns in Manhattan, then flew home to Denver. The FBI searched Zazi's rental car and laptop during the New York trip and listened in on telephone conversations, according to the affidavits. On Monday, FBI agents and police officers with search warrants seeking bomb materials searched three apartments and questioned residents in the Queens neighborhood where Zazi stayed.A Sept. 11 search of Zazi's rental car in New York turned up a laptop computer that contained an image of nine pages of handwritten notes, according to court documents filed with the arrest warrant. Those notes included instructions about how to build explosives and detonators, the affidavits state.Zazi was asked about the notes during FBI interviews last week and said he knew nothing about them, the documents said. Zazi allegedly told federal agents that he must have unintentionally downloaded the notes along with a religious book. He said he deleted it within a few days after realizing it discussed jihad, the affidavit said.
However, federal agents suspect Zazi received the notes via e-mail.Authorities have found images of the notes in two e-mail accounts with similar passwords. One of the accounts has a nine-digit password that is identical to the password for an e-mail account that Zazi told investigators this week was his, the affidavit said.
Authorities suspect Zazi controls both e-mail accounts that received copies of the handwritten notes, according to the affidavit. An arrest warrant affidavit says FBI agents intercepted a phone conversation around Sept. 11 in which Afzali, a legal permanent resident from Afghanistan, told Zazi that he had spoken with authorities. I was exposed to something yesterday from the authorities. And they came to ask me about your characters. They asked me about you guys,Afzali told Zazi, according to the affidavit. However, Afzali allegedly lied to authorities about that conversation when federal agents asked him about it Thursday, according to the affidavit. The department says Mohammed Zazi, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was interviewed last week by the FBI, lied when asked if he knew anyone by the name of Afzali and said he didn't. The FBI said it had wiretapped a conversation between Mohammed Zazi and Afzali during Najibullah Zazi's visit to New York.Wendy Aiello, a spokeswoman for Zazi's defense team, says Zazi and his father were taken to FBI headquarters in Denver.Zazi had been scheduled to go to the Federal Building in Denver on Saturday for a fourth straight day of FBI questioning. However, the meeting was canceled so Zazi could meet with his attorney, Aiello said. The FBI searched Zazi's apartment and his uncle and aunt's home last week in suburban Denver. Authorities have not said what they found.Zazi was born in Afghanistan in 1985, moved to Pakistan at age 7 and emigrated to the United States in 1999. He returned to Pakistan in 2007 and 2008 to visit his wife, according to his attorney, Arthur Folsom.Associated Press writer Eileen Sullivan in Washington, D.C., contributed to this report.
Nigerian Muslims end Ramadan fast Sun Sep 20, 6:52 am ETKANO,
Nigeria (AFP) – Nigerian Muslims on Sunday celebrated Eid al-Fitr marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan with a call for religious tolerance and peaceful co-existence by a top Muslim leader. As I declare tomorrow (Sunday) as the day of Eid, I enjoin all Muslims to exhibit the spirit of peace and religious tolerance which Islam preaches and Ramadan reinforces,Sultan Sa'ad Abubakar said in a radio broadcast aired on Saturday night. It is my ardent hope that we have learnt all the lessons the month of Ramadan imparts to the faithful which include piety, sacrifice, brotherliness, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, said Abubakar, who is the sultan of Sokoto.Muslims mark the end of Ramadan, Islam's ninth and holiest month in which they fast from dawn to dusk, with feasts where they exchange visits and gifts. Nigeria's 140 million population is roughly divided between Muslims and Christians but tensions and mistrust occasionally lead to sectarian clashes especially in the Muslim-dominated northern part of the country.
Tables Turned on Hacker Site By Erik Larkin - Fri Sep 18, 2009 2:36PM EDTDenver Post Sunday 20th September, 12:13:10 AM
Here's one to make you smile. An underground malware and hacking forum got a taste of its own medicine when it was itself hacked by a digital vigilante.A post from F-Secure says the underground pakbugs.com forum drew malicious hackers who bought and sold malware, stolen credit card numbers and the like. That is, until someone going by Catch Them broke into the site and gathered the full list of registered users, including their forum passwords and e-mail addresses, which the vigilante then posted to the Full Disclosure security mailing list. The F-Secure post includes screen shots of the pakbugs site and the users list.F-Secure says the site has been going up and down since the event, and it's not responding when I check it (from a Linux test machine, probably not a good idea to visit underground hacking sites using your Windows desktop). Let's hope the site stays down.

ISAIAH 18:1-2
1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
JEREMIAH 50:11,37,12
11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;(BACKSLIDERS)
37 A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.(A NATION OF MINGLED PEOPLE)

JEREMIAH 51:13,7,53
13 O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.
7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
REVELATION 18:3,5,7
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
JEREMIAH 50:3,24
3 For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD. (RUSSIA A SNEAK ATTACK ON AMERICA)

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,(NUKE ATTACK I BELIEVE)
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
OBAMA YOU CAN SAY ITS NOT ABOUT RUSSIA,THE BIBLE TELLS THE TRUTH AND SAYS IT IS ABOUT RUSSIA.
Obama: Missile defense decision not about Russia By BEN FELLER, Associated Press Writer – SEPT 20,09
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama sharply dismisses criticism that Russian opposition influenced his decision to scrap a European missile defense system, calling it merely a bonus if the leaders of Russia end up a little less paranoid about the U.S.My task here was not to negotiate with the Russians,Obama told CBS' Face the Nation in an interview for broadcast Sunday. The Russians don't make determinations about what our defense posture is.The president's comments were his first on the matter since he abruptly announced on Thursday that he was scuttling plans to deploy 10 missile interceptors in Poland and a related radar in the Czech Republic. That shield had been proposed under President George W. Bush.Russia condemned it is a threat to its security despite years of U.S. assurances to the contrary. In its place will be a different missile-defense plan relying on a network of sensors and interceptor missiles based at sea, on land and in the air. Obama says that adapts to the most pressing threat from Iran to U.S. troops and allies in Europe, potential attacks by short- and medium-range missiles.Yet at home and abroad, Obama's decision immediately raised a political question of whether it was done in part to appease Russia and win its help in other areas, mainly in confronting the potential of a nuclear-armed Iran. That point was underscored when Russia lauded the change.
In an interview with CBS News that was taped Friday, Obama was pressed on why he did not seek anything in exchange from Russia.Russia had always been paranoid about this, but George Bush was right. This wasn't a threat to them,Obama said. And this program will not be a threat to them.He added:If the byproduct of it is that the Russians feel a little less paranoid and are now willing to work more effectively with us to deal with threats like ballistic missiles from Iran or nuclear development in Iran, you know, then that's a bonus.Russia said Saturday that it will scrap a plan to deploy missiles near Poland since Obama dumped the planned missile shield in Eastern Europe.Russia's Deputy Defense Minister Vladimir Popovkin said Obama's move made the deployment of short-range missiles in the Kaliningrad region unnecessary, and he called the U.S. president's decision a victory of reason over ambitions.Washington is counting on Moscow to help raise pressure on Tehran over its disputed nuclear program, although there are no clear signs that will happen. Also Sunday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates asserted that the United States is not walking away from European allies to appease Russia.Russia's attitude and possible reaction played no part in my recommendation to the president on this issue,Gates wrote in an essay in The New York Times. He said he would be surprised if Russia likes the replacement European missile defense plan much better.Gates acknowledged that one criticism of the replacement plan is that it relies heavily on fresh intelligence about the Iranian missile threat. The U.S. now judges shorter-range missiles as a greater problem in the near term than the long-range missiles the old system was conceived to counter. But he suggested it would have been foolhardy to stick with a plan that had become obsolete before it was built.
Having spent most of my career at the CIA, I am all too familiar with the pitfalls of over-reliance on intelligence assessments that can become outdated, wrote Gates, a former CIA director. That system never moved past the blueprint stage, and would not have been fully fielded until at least 2017.Part of the replacement system could be in place as soon as 2011, Gates said.

Medvedev: Israel not planning to strike Iran By JIM HEINTZ, Associated Press Writer – SEPT 20,09
MOSCOW – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev says Israeli officials have assured him that they are not planning a military strike on Iran. In an interview with CNN television broadcast Sunday, Medvedev also confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to Moscow this month that included a meeting with the Russian president. In a transcript of the interview released by the Kremlin, Medvedev hedges on the question of whether Russia would support Iran if it were attacked by Israel.Although Russia has no defense agreement with Iran this does not mean we would like to be or will be indifferent to such an occurrence. This is the worst thing that can be imagined,Medvedev said of a potential Israeli strike. What would happen after that? Humanitarian disaster, a vast number of refugees, Iran's wish to take revenge — and not only upon Israel, to be honest, but upon other countries as well. But my Israeli colleagues told me they were not planning to act in this way, and I trust them,Medvedev said.It was not clear whether those referred to included Netanyahu. Israeli President Shimon Peres also reportedly told Medvedev in a meeting this month that Israel wasn't planning an attack on Iran. But Medvedev gave the first confirmation from the Russian side that a meeting with Netanyahu had taken place.Netanyahu vanished from public view in Israel for most of the day on Sept. 7. His office said he had visited a secret security facility, but there was widespread speculation that he had gone to Russia — either to pressure Moscow not to deliver S-300 air-defense missiles to Iran or to inform the Kremlin of attack plans.
Prime Minister Netanyahu came to Moscow. He did this under a closed regime, this was his decision. I don't understand what this was connected with, but sometimes our partners decide it this way,Medvedev said. He did not give details of the meeting.
Russia signed a contract two years ago to sell S-300s to Iran, a move that disturbs Israel because the missiles would substantially boost Iran's defenses. However, no deliveries have been made public. In the interview, Medvedev acknowledged Israel's concerns but said that any supplies of any weapons, especially defensive weapons, cannot increase tension; on the contrary, they should ease it.Russia has cultivated close cooperation with Iran, including building the Bushehr nuclear power plant that critics say is a key element of Iranian attempts to develop nuclear weapons. But Russia has shown irritation with Iran's failure to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency as it seeks to determine if Iran is pursuing nuclear arms.
Although Russia — which has veto power in the United Nations Security Council — so far has resisted additional sanctions on Iran, Medvedev admonished Tehran in the interview.Iran must cooperate with the IAEA, this is absolutely obvious, if it wishes to develop its nuclear dimension, its nuclear energy program. This is a duty and not a matter of choice,he said.
Iran building backup nuke plant in Americas? Sunday, 20 September 2009 07:33 News from Jerusalem .Venezuelan site could give Hezbollah door to atomic mischief
Iran may consider a proposal from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to build a backup nuclear village in his nation to produce nuclear energy and also to have a safe fall-back production capability in case there is an attack by Israel or the United States on nuclear facilities in Iran, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
Chavez, in a visit last week to Iran, proposed to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the idea of building a project in Venezuela.Security sources have confirmed such a nuclear village could become the Iranian nuclear production alternative, or a location to hide especially critical nuclear components from attack. With the United Nations about ready to take up the issue of sanctions against Iran over its nuclear enrichment efforts, such a prospect of attack, particularly from Israel, is increasingly likely. Israeli officials have stated on numerous occasions that a nuclear Iran would threaten Israel's existence. While the U.N. is expected to consider proposals for sanctions on Iran, there is an expectation that Russia and China will reject further sanctions. If that happens, security experts believe that Israel then could declare diplomacy a failure, opening the way for its long-intimated attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. The issue of nuclear cooperation between Iran and Venezuela arose in the context of military and security cooperation agreements reached between their two leaders.Keep in touch with the most important breaking news stories about critical developments around the globe with Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium, online intelligence news source edited and published by the founder of WND.
France was quick to object to any nuclear cooperation, saying that it would violate various United Nations resolutions, including U.N. Security Council Resolution 1737. That resolution calls for all U.N. members to refrain from the direct or indirect purchase of nuclear-related technology from Iran.Iran and Venezuela are signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, or NPT, and their legislatures have ratified it, compelling their compliance. At the same time, it allows them to undertake a peaceful nuclear development program. The purpose of the NPT is to allow for the promotion of cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy while trying to prevent nuclear weapons proliferation. The NPT is the only binding commitment in a multilateral treaty to disarmament by nuclear countries. To date, some 187 countries are signatories to the NPT. It offers a safeguard system under the International Atomic Energy Agency, or IAEA, to verify treaty compliance through inspections. At the same time, it promotes equal access to nuclear technology.
Security experts believe, however, that efforts to insure effective Iranian compliance with the NPT or the U.N. resolutions would be difficult given the need for policing and investigation, something which most countries are not equipped to undertake and may not have the political will to do.Iranian interest in nuclear cooperation with Venezuela has come up in the past. In 2006, Ahmadinejad and Chavez voiced the need for similar cooperation. At the time, Iranian parliament speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said that Iran would study the possibility.wnd
Iran's leader says US nuke accusations wrong By NASSER KARIMI, Associated Press Writer – SEPT 20,09
TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's supreme leader said Sunday that U.S. officials know they are wrongly accusing Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons. In Iran's first official reaction to the U.S. decision to scrap a European missile intercept system to defend against threats from Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claimed President Barack Obama's administration is following the same policies as its predecessor. The U.S. officials who talk about Iranian missiles and their danger while saying Iran intends to build a nuclear bomb, they know these words are wrong,Khamenei said in remarks broadcast on state-run radio.Despite its apparent friendly messages and words the Obama administration is pursuing the same policy of Iran-phobia, he said. The U.S. administration has invited Iran to start a dialogue on its nuclear program and gave a vague September deadline for Tehran to take up the offer. The U.S. and five other world powers accepted an offer from Iran earlier this month to hold comprehensive, all-encompassing and constructive talks on a range of security issues, including global nuclear disarmament.European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana will meet Iran's nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili on Oct. 1 for talks on Iran's nuclear program. Iran has long maintained the program is purely for peaceful purposes and Khamenei reiterated that Iran considers the production and use of nuclear arms forbidden by the country's Muslim beliefs.
The Obama administration announced earlier this month it was scrapping a Bush-era plan for a missile defense system based in Poland and the Czech Republic. Former President George W. Bush contended the system was needed to shoot down any Iranian missile if Tehran ever developed one with adequate range to threaten the United States or Europe.U.S. officials have said the decision was based largely on a new U.S. intelligence assessment that Iran's effort to build a nuclear-capable long-range missile would take three years to five years longer than originally thought. The scrapped plan will be replaced by a new one initially geared more to the threat of short- and medium-range missiles from Iran.Khamenei also addressed Iran's domestic political crisis, warning government supporters against accusing opposition members of wrongdoing without proof. It was the latest indication that the Islamic government may be easing up on critics of the June presidential election. In a speech marking the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Khamenei appeared to be working to iron out tensions that have created the country's biggest domestic political crisis since the 1979 Islamic Revolution — the fallout from the disputed June 12 election in which President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won re-election in a race critics say was marred by widespread fraud.Amid mass trials of supporters of reformist presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi, as well as claims of abuse, coerced confessions and intimidation by security forces targeting the opposition, Khamenei said while a suspect's own confession was admissible, his testimony or accusations could not be used to implicate others in the unrest. We do not have the right to accuse without any proof,Khamenei said, urging the judiciary and security forces to pursue offenders within the bounds of the law. The speech was carried live on Iran's state radio and television. What a suspect says in court against a third party has no legitimate validity,he said.
Khamenei did not single out any individuals, but his remarks appeared to refer to testimony by some detainees who maintain that former President Hashemi Rafsanjani and other reformists supported Mousavi to weaken Khamenei.Rafsanjani — who has been absent from several recent official ceremonies, including a Friday prayer led by the supreme leader earlier in September — was seen sitting in the first row of worshippers during the prayer ceremony at which Khamenei spoke.Khamenei has been a staunch supporter of Ahmadinejad, support that has further angered critics and opened up a wide rift between the country's influential clerics — reformists on one side, hard-liners on the other. But in what could be an attempt to bridge that gap, he said accusing others in the media without any proof would create a climate of suspicion. The country has already been faced with just such a situation for months since tens of thousands took to the streets in protests after the elections, sparking a harsh government crackdown in which hundreds were arrested or detained and dozens subsequently being brought to court in mass trials. Some opposition members say 72 died in the post-vote police crackdown, roughly double the government's official casualty figures.Khamenei's latest comments could signal a change in the direction of the ongoing court cases against protesters. Some detainees blamed opposition figures and their supporters of fomenting the postelection unrest. Among those blamed were Rafsanjani and his son.
Obama promised Jewish homes to Palestinians? Saturday, 19 September 2009 05:46 News from Jerusalem .Official says American president fed up with Israel
President Obama is fed up with Israel while his administration has given the Palestinians guarantees they will eventually take over Jewish homes and buildings throughout most of the West Bank, a top Palestinian Authority official claimed to WND.We heard from the U.S. that no matter what Israel is building in the West Bank, it will not affect a final status agreement to create a Palestinian state, said the PA official, who spoke on condition his name be withheld. The Americans told us (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu might construct in the West Bank for now but we (Palestinians) can enjoy these houses later. The evacuated homes will not be destroyed like some were when Israel pulled out of Gaza, the official said. The official said Obama has adopted the position of PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, who presented a plan to create a Palestinian state within two years based largely on the 1967 borders, meaning Israel would retreat from the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem. The official said the U.S. would back Israel retaining what are known as main settlement blocs, a reference to certain large Jewish West Bank communities such as Gush Etzion. The official, however, said the U.S. does not support Israel retaining the E1 area in Jerusalem, referring to Maale Adumim, a Jewish community in eastern Jerusalem.
The issue of Jewish construction is contentious. Obama has demanded Israel halt all settlement activity, or Jewish building projects in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem.Obama's Mideast envoy, George Mitchell, is in the region attempting to negotiate a settlement freeze. Talks between Netanyahu and Mitchell, which continued today, failed to reach an agreement. A deal could allow for a tripartite meeting between Obama, Netanyahu, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly next week.wnd

17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

White House: Tripartite meeting to take place on Tuesday Sunday, 20 September 2009 07:10 News from Jerusalem .Abbas, Obama and Netanyahu
US President Barack Obama will host a meeting Tuesday with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in an effort to lay the groundwork for renewed peace negotiations, the White House announced Saturday night.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the three-way meeting would take place after Obama meets separately with each of the two leaders. These meetings will continue the efforts of President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Special Envoy George Mitchell to lay the groundwork for the relaunch of negotiations, and to create a positive context for those negotiations so that they can succeed, the statement said. The announcement of the meeting came as something of a surprise, as earlier this week Mitchell failed to make progress in talks with the two leaders. Hours before the Saturday night's announcement, Israel and the PA continued to squabble over which side was to blame for the current stall in peace talks. On Thursday several PA officials hinted that such a meeting might take place, but stressed that the Palestinians would not drop their demand that Israel halt all construction in settlements before the resumption of peace talks. A PA official said that under the current circumstances, a decision by Abbas to meet with Netanyahu would only be because of the heavy pressure the Americans have been exerting on him in recent weeks. In Saturday's statement, Mitchell said It is another sign of the president's deep commitment to comprehensive peace that he wants to personally engage at this juncture. The meetings will take place in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting. No announcement is expected at the meeting of the three leaders, according to an administration official. But Obama scheduled the meeting to show his personal commitment to making progress, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the discussions.jpost
Next war unlikely to spare Tel Aviv Saturday, 19 September 2009 06:14 News from Jerusalem .Tel Aviv Seafront
Chief armor, combat intelligence, artillery and engineering officers grant Ynet special holiday interview; discuss Hezbollah threat, true force of IDF and the challenges of next possible war.Three years after the missed opportunities of the Second Lebanon War and less than one year after the accomplishments of Operation Cast Lead in Gaza, the IDF is gearing for the next war, which is unlikely to spare central Israel.Four of the Israeli Defense Forces senior commanders spoke to Ynet about the challenges of the armed conflict looming ahead. We are not heading towards war but we are getting ready for one – there's a big difference, says Combat Intelligence Corps Commander Brig.-Gen. Eli Polack. A veteran of the intelligence community Polack said the lessons learned form the summer of 2006 are extensive and that the IDF has since upgraded its training, weapons and operational battle plans.
The most important thing is the fundamental change the army underwent since then, both inside and out.Today's soldiers know what they are up against, says Armor Corps Commander Brigadier-General Agai Yehezkel. No one thinks encountering the enemy will be a walk in the park, and we're making the effort to bolster field commanders' confidence.Everyone knows we cannot afford a repeat performance the likes of the Second Lebanon War. There's a newfound understanding that when you go to war – you war until the very end.The war, they all agree, was somewhat of a life-changing event as far as the military was concerned; and the different approach to military campaigns was evident during the Israeli offensive in Gaza. The future, however, is a different story altogether.Nevertheless, said Yehezkel Every commander is well aware of the difference between Gaza, with its minor, though dramatically-seeming firepower, and what might happen in the north. The challenge will be dealing with asymmetric fighting, which amplifies the innate firepower of explosives and anti-tank weapons, along with long-range rocket capabilities.
Knowledge is power
Chief Artillery Officer Brig.-Gen. David Savisa agrees:The enemy's capabilities have improved on every level – quality, quantity and range. The premise is that the entire country will come under threat. The military rear as well as the home front will become vulnerable and we are gearing up for such a scenario. We will know how to keep (the threat) to a minimum. As for the possibility that Tel Aviv might come under fire, Yehezkel said that in such an event,The military will need to be given the leeway to ensure that the majority of Israel is out of missile range.Engineering Corps Commander Brig.-Gen. Moshe Shelly was more specific:Firing at central Israel will carry devastating consequences for the perpetrator. I believe – I know – who ever will be responsible for it will be made to pay a hefty price, and I believe the enemy, Hezbollah, is aware of that as well. You have to remember that the IDF's capabilities are tenfold higher of what it used in Gaza. The destruction it can introduce is formidable. When asked – in view of near constant threats exchanged between Jerusalem and Hezbollah – what might spark a new conflict, Savisa said the IDF is unlikely to be the first to pull the trigger: Anyone who thinks that there is an instant solution that can destroy tens of thousands of rockets at once is daydreaming. We have to make (the enemy) realize that firing isn't worthwhile, we have to target their motivation and I think we're doing a good job at that.
Change starts form within
One of the complex issues the IDF has had to face is the unconscionable use terror groups make of civilians population. The enemy will most likely continue doing that, leaving us no choice but to inadvertently harm innocents, said Savisa. We've learned how to deal with that, how to separate civilian elements form military targets and the extensive use of precise fire (systems) greatly minimizes civilian casualties.
The battlefield will never be sterile and we will do anything to hit our targets. We have nothing to apologize for. Many more civilian lives would have been lost had we deployed differently or used less force (in Gaza), and that's the message the other side got – civilians cannot be used as shields. The best example of how society views the change the military has undergone can be found in youth motivation, they say: The IDF's combat units have never been more popular among teens joining the armed forces – some even tripling the numbers of new recites asking to join their ranks.
The new recruits, they added, are technologically savvy and are very aware of military workings. Parents involvement, they noted, also steadily increases.
Cut from a different cloth
The IDF has found itself in the eye of several public storms recently, pertaining to abuse among the ranks and conduct unbecoming by officers. The public criticism, the four said, is more than legitimate.Israeli society, they noted, is within its rights to demand the top echelon of leadership – military included, and especially those charges with protecting their children and the country – be cut from a different cloth. When asked how Gilad Shalit's abduction and lengthy captivity affects their troops, Shelly said the matter is somewhat of a non-issue: When you're a part of an operational unit it's all about the mission. The soldiers don't waste time on things like probabilities – they trust their training and that of the people around them.
Polack, however, said that he believes that amongst themselves the troops do discuss the issue.Any one of them might have his own concerns. A lot of things can happen when you go into battle and abduction may not even be the worst case scenario.ynet

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
UN criticizes Israel's atomic program Saturday, 19 September 2009 05:36 News from Jerusalem .The Dimona reactor.
Overriding Western objections, a 150-nation nuclear conference on Friday passed a resolution directly criticizing Israel and its atomic program for the first time in 18 years. Iran hailed the vote as a glorious moment. The result was a setback not only for Israel but also for the United States and other backers of the Jewish state, which had lobbied for 18 years of past practice - debate on the issue without a vote. It also reflected building tensions between Israel and its backers and Islamic nations, backed by developing countries.Of delegations present at the International Atomic Energy Agency meeting Friday, 49 voted for the resolution. Forty-five were against and 16 abstained from endorsing or rejecting the document, which expresses concern about the Israeli nuclear capabilities, and links it to concern about the threat posed by the proliferation of nuclear weapons for the security and stability of the Middle East.In an attempt to sway the assembly before the vote, US chief delegate Glyn Davies spoke out against an attempt to use this resolution to criticize a single country.Such an approach is highly politicized and does not truly address the complexities at play regarding crucial nuclear-related issues in the Middle East, he said. While the conference has no enforcing powers, the result once again exposed the deep North-South divide gripping IAEA meetings.
The US and its allies consider Iran the region's greatest proliferation threat, fearing that Teheran is trying to achieve the capacity to make nuclear weapons despite its assertion that it is only building a civilian program to generate power. They also say Syria - which, like Iran is under IAEA investigation - ran a clandestine nuclear program, at least until IAF warplanes destroyed what was described as a nearly finished plutonium-producing reactor two years ago.But Islamic nations insist that Israel is the true danger in the Middle East, saying they fear its nuclear weapons capacity. Israel has never said it has such arms, but is universally believed to possess them. The Muslim countries enjoy support from the developing world, which is critical of the US and other nuclear weapons nations for refusing to disarm, and suspects that developed nations are trying to corner the market on peaceful nuclear technology to their disadvantage.Israeli delegate David Danieli denounced the vote as openly hostile to the state of Israel and accused Iran and Syria of creating a diplomatic smoke screen to cover up their pursuit of nuclear weapons. But chief Iranian delegate Ali Asghar Soltanieh said the vote should serve as a warning to Washington and other supporters of the Jewish state.
The US Administration .... has received a message that they should not continue supporting Israel at any price,he told reporters.Since the conference passed a harshly worded anti-Israel resolution in 1991, there has been annual Islamic criticism of Israel's nuclear program and its refusal to join the Nonproliferation Treaty. But - until Friday - the West had lobbied successfully against a vote, arguing they could damage hopes of a Middle East peace through negotiations.Western diplomats had expressed hope on Thursday that a vote could again be avoided after the meeting adopted a resolution calling for a Mideast free of nuclear weapons in a near-consensus vote. One hundred delegations voted for, with only Israel against and 14 abstentions. While Israel objected to a passage calling on all states in the region to adopt the Nonproliferation Treaty, it praised Arab willingness to compromise on other language in the document that it opposed.jpost
We may have to attack Iran by December Thursday, 17 September 2009 06:51 News from Jerusalem .We cannot live under the shadow of an Iran with nuclear weapons.
Israel will be compelled to attack Iran's nuclear facilities if Western powers do not impose serious sanctions against Teheran by the end of 2009, former deputy defense minister Ephraim Sneh said on Wednesday. We cannot live under the shadow of an Iran with nuclear weapons,he was quoted as telling Reuters in an interview on a visit to the UK.By the end of the year, if there is no agreement on crippling sanctions aimed at this regime, we will have no choice.Sneh reportedly stressed that a military strike would be the very, very last resort. But ironically it is our best friends and allies who are pushing us into a corner where we would have no option but to do it.I wonder if they will [put a tougher sanctions regime in place] quickly enough. If not, we are compelled to take action.Sneh, who holds no position in the government and was speaking in his personal capacity, told Reuters it was not clear the US and EU had the decisiveness to take such steps, which should include tougher banking and oil curbs, by year's end. He added that the need for the involvement of Russia and China is a myth,as strict sanctions imposed by the West would be tough enough to work.It is bloodless, and it even stops short of a naval blockade,he said.
Sneh reportedly explained that Jerusalem could not accept a nuclear-armed Iran because government processes would be substantially distorted, as the cabinet's decision making would be hostage to the fear of Teheran's nuclear retaliation. If the Islamic republic completes its military nuclear program, immigration to Israel would stop, young men and women would emigrate to pursue their future in places seen as more secure and investment in Israel would be reduced, he reportedly said. The former deputy minister also warned that Iran would pressure moderate Arab states to toughen their positions vis-a-vis Israel, and that a nuclear Iran would prompt Saudi Arabia and Egypt to obtain nuclear weapons themselves, bringing about a Middle East fully loaded with nuclear weapons.jpost

ROSH-HASHANA NEW YEAR CONTINUES IN ISRAEL
DEUTERONOMY 32:1-52
1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
3 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.
8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;
14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.
15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.
17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
19 And when the LORD saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.
29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?
35 To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
36 For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
44 And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
45 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:
46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
48 And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,
49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:
51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah–Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
52 Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.
PROPHETS PORTION
2 SAMUEL 22:1-51
1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
29 For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
42 They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
48 It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
NEW TESTAMENT PORTION
ROMANS 10:14-21
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
ROMANS 12:14-21
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
HEBREWS 12:28-29
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
