GENESIS 7:6-12
6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the
seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the
great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
GOD PROMISED BY A RAINBOW-THE EARTH WOULD NEVER BE DESTROYED TOTALLY WITH A FLOOD AGAIN.BUT FLOODIING IS A SIGN OF JUDGEMENT.

Fort Worth
Star-Telegram-Tornado watch affecting North Texas until 3 a.m. Sunday,
according to the NWS-Star-Telegram Bot-Sun, April 28, 2024 at 1:06 AM
EDT
On Saturday at 11:48 p.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued a
tornado watch in effect until Sunday at 3 a.m. The watch is for
Eastland, Palo Pinto and Wise counties. This watch is in effect until
Sunday at 3 a.m.Tips for finding shelter during a tornado-To ensure your
safety during a tornado, remember that acting promptly is crucial,
according to the NWS. Stay informed about tornado watches and warnings
through regular updates on local news or a NOAA Weather Radio.• If you
are indoors: In the event of a tornado warning, seek shelter in your
basement, safe room, or an interior room without windows. If possible,
bring your pets along with you.• If you are at your workplace or school:
Follow your tornado drill protocol and make your way to the designated
tornado shelter area. Maintain a safe distance from windows and avoid
seeking refuge in large open rooms like cafeterias, gymnasiums, or
auditoriums.• If you are outside: In the event of an approaching
tornado, seek immediate refuge inside a secure building. Remember that
sheds, storage facilities, mobile homes, and tents are not safe
options.• If you are in a vehicle: Being in a vehicle during a tornado
is not safe. The best course of action is to drive to the closest
shelter. If you are unable to make it to a safe shelter, either get down
in your car and cover your head, or abandon your car and seek shelter
in a low-lying area such as a ditch or ravine. Is your emergency kit
prepared in case of a tornado? The Federal Emergency Management Agency
recommends keeping the following items in a basic disaster supplies
kit:• Water, one gallon per person for at least three days• Food, at
least a three-day supply• Cell phone with chargers and a backup battery•
Battery-powered or hand-crank radio• Flashlight• First-aid kit•
Whistle• Dust mask to filter contaminated air• Plastic sheeting and duct
tape, for shelter purposes• Moist towelettes, garbage bags, and plastic
ties• Manual can opener for food• Local maps-Source: The National
Weather Service.

A series of tornadoes hit Nebraska
and Iowa on Friday, leveling homes and wreaking havoc in the
Midwest.Elkhorn, a neighborhood of Omaha, was most severely impacted,
with hundreds of homes damaged by the powerful storms. In Iowa, the
small city of Minden faced a similar fate, with a large tornado causing
heavy damage. Though injuries were reported, so far there have been no
reported fatalities.Snapshots from the weather event, per the Associated
Press, include a collapsed industrial building in Nebraska’s Lancaster
County, which trapped 70 people inside. Ultimately, everyone was
evacuated and no one had life-threatening injuries. In Elkhorn, three
people also found safety in the basement of a home that was leveled
above them by the tornado.Videos of the twisters have gone viral on
social media, including one circulating on X that features a large
tornado moving across a road in front of cars.Forecasts predict
continued storms through Sunday, with the highest risk on Saturday.
Areas from Nebraska to Texas, including major cities like Dallas, Austin
and Oklahoma City, are at risk of experiencing strong tornadoes. A
tornado watch has been issued for parts of western Oklahoma and
northwest Texas until 1 p.m. Saturday, with the potential for tennis
ball-sized hail and winds reaching up to 70 mph, per CNN.A Saturday
morning X post from the National Weather Service stated that “severe
storms are most likely after 11 am. Tornadoes and strong thunderstorms
will remain possible through the overnight.”Scroll down to see photos of

Hundreds
of pro-Palestinian demonstrators rallying against Israel over its war
with Hamas in Gaza outside the annual White House correspondents’ dinner
in Washington, as US President Joe Biden is due to attend the
event.“Shame on you!” protesters draped in keffiyehs shout, running
after men in tuxedos and suits and women in long dresses who are holding
clutch purses, as guests and other participants hurried inside.Chants
claim US journalists are undercovering the war and misrepresenting it.
“Western media we see you, and all the horrors that you hide,” crowds
chanted at one point.Other protesters lay sprawled motionless on the
pavement, next to mock-ups of flak vests with “press”
insignia.Protesters cry “Free, free Palestine.” They cheer when at one
point someone inside the Washington Hilton — where the dinner has been
held for decades — unfurls a Palestinian flag from a top-floor hotel
window.

(@ScooterCasterNY) April 27, 2024-Pro-Palestinian protests against
Israel have spread to college campuses across the US, stoked by the mass
arrest of over 100 people on Columbia University’s campus last
week.School leaders at several universities have responded in the past
week by asking police to clear out camps and arrest those who refuse to
leave. While saying they defend free speech rights to protest, the
leaders say they will not abide activists infringing on campus policies
against hate speech or camping out on university grounds. At Arizona
State University, campus police arrested 69 protesters early Saturday,
the school says in a statement. The university says “a group of people –
most of whom were not ASU students, faculty or staff – created an
encampment and demonstration” and were arrested and charged with
criminal trespass after refusing to disperse.
