ITS CONFIRMED BY POLICE AND TEXAS OFFICIALS THAT 26 PEOPLE WERE KILLED IN THIS WORST MASS CHURCH KILLING IN AMERICAS HISTORY. ONE DEAD WAS A PREGNANT WOMAN AND ANOTHER THE 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF THE PASTOR OF THE CHURCH. WHO WAS NOT AT THE CHURCH THIS MORNING. AT 11:20AM A MALE DRESSED IN MILITARY ALL BLACK WAS SEEN AT A SIGHT NEAR THE CHURCH. THE MALE THEN WENT TO AND IN THE CHURCH AND STARTED SHOOTING. KILLING 26 VICTIMS FROM AGES 5 TO 72 YEARS OF AGE. THE SHOOTER THEN LEFT THE CHURCH BY VEHICLE. THE SHOOTER THEN CRASHED OR DROVE IN A HAY FIELD. AND WHEN POLICE GOT TO THE CAR, AFTER FINDING IT. THE MALE WAS DEAD. POLICE DO NOT KNOW IF A RESIDENT SHOT THE MURDERER OR IF THE KILLER SHOT HIMSELF.

THERE WAS A MASS SHOOTING AT A SUTHERLAND SPRINGS TEXAS CHURCH. ITS REPORTED THAT 27 ARE DEAD AND 24 INJUED. AFTER THE GUNMAN SHOT UP THE PLACE. ITS REPORTED THE GUNMAN RELOADED MANY TIMES. ITS REPORTED THE GUNMAN LEFT THE CHURCH. AND DROVE DOWN A SIDE ROAD WERE POLICE STOPPED THE SHOOTER. AND THE SHOOTER EITHER KILLED HIMSELF OR POLICE SHOT AND KILLED THE TERRORIST SHOOTER.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed that 26 people have been killed by a gunman at a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. There were 20 others transported to area hospitals with gunshot wounds.The gunman was identified as Devin Patrick Kelley, according to a CBS News law enforcement source. CBS reported that Kelley is a former member of the United States Air Force. Kelley died a short time after the massacre.Local Sheriff Joe Tackitt confirmed there was no longer an active threat, as of Sunday evening.Texas Department of Safety representative Freeman Martin said that the suspect was dressed in all black and tactical gear when he entered the church. During Sunday's shooting, a citizen fired on his suspect, forcing the suspect to flee from the church.Police later found the suspect in a vehicle, some distance from the church. Martin could not confirm whether the suspect was killed by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Martin would not confirm if Kelley was responsible for Sunday's shooting, but said the gunman was a young, white man.Police responded to an active shooter call to the First Baptist Church around 11:20 a.m. local time.Eyewitnesses reported at least 20 shots were fired.Amanda Morsel, whose 13-year-old goddaughter was among those shot, told the San Antonio Express News that the church has roughly 50 parishioners."From what I've heard, someone just walked in and started shooting," she said. "It's a small, tight-knit church."By Sunday evening, law enforcement confirmed they are working to identify victims and notify families.First Baptist Church Pastor Frank Pomeroy's 14-year-old daughter was among those who were killed on Sunday. The pastor said he was not at the church at the time of the incident.Sutherland Springs is a town with a population of roughly 362, and is located 35 miles east of San Antonio.According to the church's website, there was a worship service Sunday morning that began at 11 a.m.Abbott tweeted about Sunday's incident. "Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act. Our thanks to law enforcement for their response. More details from DPS soon," Abbott tweeted.President Donald Trump also responded to Sunday's news."May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan," Trump tweeted.Sunday's incident marks the fifth deadliest mass shooting in the last 50 years in the United States. Sunday's incident comes just five weeks after the deadliest mass shooting in recent US history shook Las Vegas, with 58 people killed.The gunman's motive is unknown, and authorities have not said whether Sunday's incident was terror related.

(Reuters) – A gunman entered a church in a small town in southeast Texas on Sunday and began firing, resulting in “multiple” fatalities and injuries, local media reported, citing the county authorities.The lone gunman who walked into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, about 40 miles (65 km) east of San Antonio, was “down,” Wilson County Commissioner Albert Gamez Jr. told NBC News.Sheriff Joe Tackitt told the Wilson County News that there have been multiple injuries and fatalities, including children.
