The ministry hosts a regular livestream of such prayer for anyone to participate.In public sermons over the years, Bickle has focused intensely on end-times prophesies, and has predicted that Jesus will not return until Jews embrace him as their Lord and savior. His website claims that “Jesus ‘bound’ Himself by His own prophecy, saying He would only come back and rule in Jerusalem when Israel’s leaders ask Him to reign as King over them.”For Bickle, this is what explains Nazi Germany’s murder of more than six million Jews. In a 2011 sermon, Bickle cited a passage from Jeremiah 16:16 to elucidate the attempted extermination of European Jewry.“The Lord says, ‘I’m going to give all 20 million of them the chance to respond to the fishermen. And I don’t know what the number will be then, but according to the numbers now that would be 300,000 brought into prison camps from one city.” He then repeated for effect, “Three hundred thousand Jews.”In a separate sermon, on July 23, 2006, Bickle cited more scripture to expand on what he claimed will become of the world’s entire Jewish population.“A lot of Israel’s going to get converted, but a lot of Israel’s going to worship the anti-Christ,” he said. “A lot of Israel’s going to have revival, a lot of Israel’s going to fall away. Portions of Israel will be supernaturally protected and portions of Israel will die and go away to prison camps.”He explained that, according to the Book of Zechariah, one third of world Jewry will “get radically saved and become lovesick worshippers of Jesus,” sparing them from the inevitable apocalyptic fate of the rest of their fellow Jews.“And so all of Israel, at the end of the day … they end up dying or if they survive they get radically converted at the Second Coming.”But it’s not all bad news, according to Bickle. “Many are going to get converted between now and then,” he said, reassuringly. “We’re not giving up on Israel until the Second Coming. The IDF closed off the Palestinian village of Nahalin on Tuesday evening as it searched for a terror suspect who stabbed an Israeli man outside a nearby West Bank settlement, an army official said.The victim, later named as Tomer Ditur, 28, was moderately injured Tuesday afternoon when he was attacked outside Neve Daniel, south of Jerusalem, while out jogging. His condition was later upgraded to lightly wounded.Nahalin is located just west of the Etzion settlement bloc, and, according to reports, the assailant fled in that direction after the attack.“Currently, the entrances and exits of Nahalin are closed, with the exception of humanitarian cases,” an IDF spokesperson said.Ditur, from the nearby settlement of Rosh Tzurim in the Etzion Bloc, arrived at the gate of Neve Daniel with stab wounds, according to the IDF. The stabber reportedly fled the scene.Magen David Adom paramedics said they treated a man with stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, a spokesman for the ambulance service said.Ditur had been out jogging when he was stabbed, a paramedic who treated him told Army Radio.Moti Ben Shoshan, a Magen David Adom medic, said the wounded man was fully conscious when they arrived on the scene.“We gave him medical treatment, including stopping the bleeding and bandaging his wound. A menorah outside the Chabad house at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was vandalized for the third time in 10 months.A surveillance video released by the University of Illinois Police Department shows the vandalism took place early Sunday morning outside the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, the Daily Illini student newspaper reported.The video showed a man and a woman breaking an arm off the 9-foot menorah. The woman has been arrested, according to a Facebook post Monday night by Illini Chabad director Rabbi Dovid Tiechtel.“Thank you all for the tremendous outpouring of love and concern. It’s heartwarming to see the strength of our entire community,” Tiechtel wrote in the post. “We must not allow these things to happen on campus or anywhere. No matter in what state of mind you are, your actions count and matter.”The menorah was repaired and rededicated in December following the previous two incidents of vandalism.In August, a 20-year-old resident of Champaign, Illinois, where the university is located, was arrested for snapping the menorah off at its base. WASHINGTON — A controversial Christian evangelical leader whose endorsement is being proudly trumpeted by Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz works energetically to convert Jews to Christianity and has predicted that there will be a new period of concentration camps for Jews before the return of Jesus.Mike Bickle is also notorious for having said that God sent Hitler to hunt Jews for not accepting Jesus as the messiah.Bickle, the founder and director of the International House of Prayer, a Kansas City-based Pentecostal Christian missions organization, runs the Israel Mandate project, an effort to “mobilize an international prayer movement that would pray 24/7 for the nation of Israel to receive their Jewish Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus),” according to its website. The ministry hosts a regular livestream of such prayer for anyone to participate.In public sermons over the years, Bickle has focused intensely on end-times prophesies, and has predicted that Jesus will not return until Jews embrace him as their Lord and savior. His website claims that “Jesus ‘bound’ Himself by His own prophecy, saying He would only come back and rule in Jerusalem when Israel’s leaders ask Him to reign as King over them.”For Bickle, this is what explains Nazi Germany’s murder of more than six million Jews. In a 2011 sermon, Bickle cited a passage from Jeremiah 16:16 to elucidate the attempted extermination of European Jewry.“The Lord says, ‘I’m going to give all 20 million of them the chance to respond to the fishermen. Brokered by Jewish Agency head Natan Sharansky and then-cabinet secretary Avichai Mandelblit, and announced by the cabinet at the end of January, it is set to expand the mixed-gender prayer section at Robinson’s Arch and thus formalize access to the Western Wall for women’s prayer groups.Although approved by the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, which is responsible for archaeological concerns, the plan has drawn fire from ultra-Orthodox Jewish groups. While the Jordanian-run Waqf governs the top of the Temple Mount, known as the al-Aqsa compound to Muslims and home to the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa Mosque, Israel maintains control over access as well as religious services at the Western Wall, as part of a status quo agreement in place since 1967. Israel does not allow Jews to pray atop the mount.But Ideiss claimed the Western Wall was a part of the Temple Mount compound and “a holy Islamic site expropriated by Israel in 1967.” According to Muslim tradition, the Western Wall is where the prophet Mohammad tied the winged animal Buraq, which he rode on the night he ascended to heaven. In October 2015, the Palestinian Authority attempted to have the United Nations recognize the Western Wall as a Muslim holy site.

The IDF closed off the Palestinian village of Nahalin on Tuesday evening as it searched for a terror suspect who stabbed an Israeli man outside a nearby West Bank settlement, an army official said.The victim, later named as Tomer Ditur, 28, was moderately injured Tuesday afternoon when he was attacked outside Neve Daniel, south of Jerusalem, while out jogging. His condition was later upgraded to lightly wounded.Nahalin is located just west of the Etzion settlement bloc, and, according to reports, the assailant fled in that direction after the attack.“Currently, the entrances and exits of Nahalin are closed, with the exception of humanitarian cases,” an IDF spokesperson said.Ditur, from the nearby settlement of Rosh Tzurim in the Etzion Bloc, arrived at the gate of Neve Daniel with stab wounds, according to the IDF. The stabber reportedly fled the scene.Magen David Adom paramedics said they treated a man with stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, a spokesman for the ambulance service said.Ditur had been out jogging when he was stabbed, a paramedic who treated him told Army Radio.Moti Ben Shoshan, a Magen David Adom medic, said the wounded man was fully conscious when they arrived on the scene.“We gave him medical treatment, including stopping the bleeding and bandaging his wound. The Palestinian terror group Hamas called Sunday on activists to carry out suicide bombing attacks against Israelis, specifically on buses, in a manner reminiscent of the devastating attacks of the 2000-2005 Second Intifada.In a music video posted online, Hamas, the de-facto ruler of the Gaza Strip, praised terrorists who target civilians in front of a burning green-and-white Egged bus, Israel’s main public transportation provider.“To die as a martyr for Al-Aqsa [Mosque] gives the explosive device more and more force,” the song posted by the official Hamas channel Al-Aqsa TV said.“The intifada is not an intifada if the bus roof doesn’t fly off.”The song praised terrorists who perpetrate attacks, claiming they served to “humble” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.The six-minute clip also follows a Hamas activist preparing for a suicide attack inside Israel. A menorah outside the Chabad house at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was vandalized for the third time in 10 months.A surveillance video released by the University of Illinois Police Department shows the vandalism took place early Sunday morning outside the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, the Daily Illini student newspaper reported.The video showed a man and a woman breaking an arm off the 9-foot menorah. The woman has been arrested, according to a Facebook post Monday night by Illini Chabad director Rabbi Dovid Tiechtel.“Thank you all for the tremendous outpouring of love and concern. It’s heartwarming to see the strength of our entire community,” Tiechtel wrote in the post. “We must not allow these things to happen on campus or anywhere. No matter in what state of mind you are, your actions count and matter.”The menorah was repaired and rededicated in December following the previous two incidents of vandalism.In August, a 20-year-old resident of Champaign, Illinois, where the university is located, was arrested for snapping the menorah off at its base. Max Kristy was not a student at the university and told the local newspaper, the News-Gazette, that he was drunk at the time of the incident and planned to take the menorah as a gift to a Jewish friend. He was not charged with a hate crime.The menorah was similarly vandalized in April.

Washington – North Korea has expanded a uranium enrichment facility and restarted a plutonium reactor that could start recovering material for nuclear weapons in weeks or months, the US intelligence chief said Tuesday in delivering the annual assessment by intelligence agencies of the top dangers facing the country.He also said Islamic militants and those inspired by the Islamic State group will continue to pose a threat to Americans at home and abroad; al-Qaeda remains an enemy; and the US will continue to see cyber threats from China, Russia and North Korea.Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said that Pyongyang announced in 2013 its intention to refurbish and restart nuclear facilities, to include the uranium enrichment facility at Yongbyon and its plutonium production reactor, which was shut down in 2007.
