June 15 – Caylee visits her great-grandfather at an assisted living facility. A video is later produced in an attempt to verify the sighting.Cindy and Caylee allegedly go swimming in the Anthony's pool. Afterwards, Cindy takes the ladder away from the pool and closes the gate.

June 16 – At or about 12:30 p.m., George Anthony allegedly sees Casey and Caylee leave with backpacks on their shoulders.At 2:30 p.m., George Anthony leaves for work.
Between 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Casey allegedly makes numerous calls, lasting anywhere from a few seconds to a minute, to her parents and several friends.

June 17 – Someone fills out a card at the Sawgrass Apartments. The signature on the card reads Zenaida Hernandez-Gonzalez.The Anthony's allegedly notice that the gate to the swimming pool is open and the ladder is next to the pool.Casey allegedly posts a message for a friend named Amy on a social networking Web site. The message reads:Cheer up me lady! I love you and can't wait to finally get you moved in.

June 18 – Casey allegedly borrows a shovel from a neighbor. Later that same day she is seen backing her car up to her parents garage.

June 20 to June 21 – Casey allegedly hangs out at a club in Orlando.

June 24 – Casey's ex-fiancé calls her in the afternoon to tell her he has resigned from the Orlando Police Department. He later tells deputies that he heard Casey reprimand Caylee for climbing on a table. He also claims he heard the young girl's voice in the background. Update - Casey's ex-fiancé now claims he is not certain if he heard Caylee.George Anthony calls the Orange County Sheriff's Office and reports that someone broke into his storage shed and stole 2 gas cans with about $50.00 worth of gas in them.Later that day Casey allegedly shows up alone at her parent's house to pick up some clothes. When her father looks in the trunk of her car he allegedly finds the missing gas cans.

June ? – Casey reportedly gets a tattoo in honor of Caylee that reads Bella Vida. The English translation of the Italian phrase means Beautiful Life.

June 27 – Casey leaves her car, a 1998 white Pontiac with Florida tag G63XV, in the parking lot of an Amscot Financial store at Colonial Drive and Goldenrod RoadAmscot Financial store at Colonial Drive and Goldenrod Road.

June 27 to June 28 – Casey and her Ex-fiancée, Jesse Grund, allegedly go to the beach together.

June 30 – Casey's car is towed from Amscot Financial store. Her purse is found on the front seat and a childs car seat is found on the back seat.

July 3 – Casey's mother, Cindy Anthony, allegedly posts the following message to her MySpace blog:

Current mood: Distraught

She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel? [sic throughout].The message has been deleted.

July 4 – Casey allegedly spends the day partying and hanging out with friends.

July 4 Weekend – A new concrete slab is allegedly poured in the backyard at Casey's parents’ house.

July 7 – Casey allegedly posts a message on her MySpace blog. The message, titled Diary of Days, read:On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken.Trust no one, only yourself.With great power, comes great consequence.What is given can be taken away.Everyone Lies.Everyone Dies.

July 15 – Amy Huizenga tells Cindy Anthony where her daughter is staying. Amy later accuses Casey of stealing checks and $700.Cindy picks up Casey and places three calls to 911, telling authorities that she wants her daughter arrested for stealing money and a car. Casey had allegedly stolen her mother's credit card when she moved out and, using the card, had run up thousands of dollars in bills. Cindy also tells the dispatcher that her granddaughter is missing.During the third 911 call, Cindy tells the dispatcher:There is something wrong. I found my daughter's car today [and] it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car.

July 16 – Investigators discover Casey has been lying about her place of employment and other details regarding her daughter's disappearance. As a result, Casey is arrested and charged with child neglect, making false official statements, and obstructing an investigation.Based on the repetitive lies that the defendant has told, we do not know with whom the child is or even if the child is alive,Corporal Yuri Melich wrote in the arrest affidavit. He added,It should be noted that at no time during any of the above interviews did the defendant show any obvious emotion as to the loss of her child.The car Casey had been driving is picked up from the wrecker company, and police question a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez, who claims she does not know Casey Anthony.While behind bars, Casey calls her family and talks with her mother, Cindy, brother, Lee Anthony, and a friend, identified only as Kristina. Casey uses profanity during the 13-minute conversation and appears to be angry about comments her mother had made to the media regarding Casey's involvement in the case.

July 17 – Casey appears in court, during which time the judge denies bond, saying she showed a woeful disregard for the welfare of her child.The Sheriff’s Office searches the car Casey had been driving and bagged several items as evidence, including dirt, samples of hair deemed to be the same color and length as Caylee’s, and a carpet sample that investigators have called questionable.

July 21 – Casey's attorney sends a letter to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, which states that they are willing to cooperate fully with law enforcement.The Never Lose Hope Foundation donates office space for volunteers to coordinate search efforts. In addition, a local business owner offers a combined reward of $125,000 for information that leads to finding Caylee. The offer is set to expire in 90 days.

August 11 – A second motion to lower Casey's bond is denied.Casey's brother, Lee Anthony, cancels a scheduled visit with her.

August 12 – George Anthony tells the media he is certain that Caylee was kidnapped..

August 13 – A psychic tells the media that she is going to help find Caylee.

August 14 – Casey accepts a visit from her parents.

Casey's attorney files a subpoena to obtain information about the cadaver dogs that were used during the searches.

August 15 – A detective with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office tells Fox News that all future video's of Casey's jail visits will be withheld due to a criminal investigative exemption.

August 17 – Leonard Padilla, a bail bondsman from Sacramento, California, arrives in Orlando after making arraignments to pay Casey Anthony's $500,000 bail. Padilla tells the media he has been following the case closely and is convinced that Caylee will not be found as long as Casey Anthony is behind bars.

Bondsman Arrives In Florida To Bail Out Casey Anthony

August 18 – Padilla works on meeting the bond requirements for Casey's release.

August 19 – Padilla is told he incorrectly filled out the bond paperwork. He fixes the errors and resubmits the forms.

August 20 – Casey's bond is posted.

August 21 – Casey is released from the Orange County jail at approximately 10:30 a.m.

August 29 – Casey Anthony is back in jail after being arrested on three new charges: uttering a forged instrument, fraudulent use of personal information and petty theft.

August 30 – Bail agent revokes Casey Anthony's bond: Yesterday, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla told the media that Casey Anthony's bond would not be revoked. Since that time, Padilla either changed his mind AGAIN or his nephew, Tony Padilla, made the decision without him.

September 15 – Casey Anthony is back in jail again. Anthony was taken into custody this afternoon when she turned herself in for forging a check, fraudulent use of identification, and petty theft.

September 16 – Despite her most recent charges, Casey Anthony is released from custody once again, this time on $1,250 bond.

Oct. 01 – Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, enters a not guilty plea on behalf of his client in response to her check fraud charges. According to the court docket, Anthony is scheduled for an arraignment on those charges later this month.Meanwhile, the Orange County Sheriff's Office officially changes Anthony's status from person of interest to suspect in the disappearance of her missing two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

Oct. 08 – According to sources close to the investigation, the Florida State Attorney's Office is planning on presenting its case against Casey Anthony to a grand jury on October 14. If that happens, it will then be up to the grand jury to determine if there is enough evidence to charge Anthony in the murder of her missing 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.Meanwhile, investigators release check fraud documents and footage from surveillance cameras, which show Casey Anthony using stolen checks at several Orlando area stores, where she purchased groceries, clothing and lingerie. The footage also shows Anthony cashing a check at a Bank of America.

Oct. 08 – According to a source close to the investigation, prosecutors now have enough forensic evidence to ask a grand jury to indict Anthony for her daughter's murder. That evidence allegedly proves that Caylee's body was in the trunk of the car Casey Anthony was driving and at one point in the backyard of the Anthony family home.ID has learned that Casey Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, voluntarily provided investigators with DNA samples, which are currently being compared to hairs found in the trunk of the car. Anthony's brother, Lee Anthony, initially refused to provide investigators with a sample; however he later submitted to that request when investigators served him with a search warrant.Investigators are convinced that Caylee was murdered on or about June 17. Cell phone records show that from June 16 to June 18, Anthony mostly went about her normal routine - traveling to and from her parents and boyfriend's house - however, pings have also placed her near Blanchard Park and the Econ Trail, an isolated area south of Lake Underhill. Both those areas were searched by David Lohr and Texas EquuSearch; however given the high waters and thick underbrush it is possible that evidence could have gone overlooked.

ct. 15 – Casey Anthony, mother of missing two-year-old, Caylee Anthony, made her initial court appearance before Judge John Jordan today, on charges that she murdered her daughter.Anthony said nothing during the hearing, which lasted less than 2 minutes. Jordan read the charges against her and then ordered her held without bond.Also today, Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, made another appearance on NBC's Today show. She has this to say during the segment: I know my daughter. I know my daughter's relationship with Caylee and I know that there's nothing in this world that could make me think Casey did anything to Caylee. There's never been any child neglect, child abuse or anything. This young lady loves her child more than I love Casey. I'll tell you that right now. And my love for Casey is stronger every day. My love for my granddaughter is stronger every day and I know Caylee is alive. There's a lot of people out there who have seen Caylee.

Oct. 27 – Casey Anthony was arraigned on charges of first degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators. Anthony had already entered a written not guilty plea, so she was not required to be present during the proceeding. Judge Stan Strickland set Jan. 5 as the opening day for Anthony's trial. If convicted, Anthony could face life in prison or the death penalty.

Dec. 11 – Human child remains found by the Anthony house.Sources close to the investigation say that remnants of duct tape were found on both the skull and the trash bag. Those items are compared to tape and bags that had previously been collected from the car Casey Anthony was driving at the time of her daughter's disappearance.Investigators hold a media briefing on the discovery of the remains. Police confirm that the skull does appear to be that of a small child; however they caution that further tests are needed to confirm the age and gender.Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff's Office seek a warrant to search the home of Casey Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony.Authorities obtain the warrant and the Anthony family home is taped off with crime scene tape.

In October 2008, Dr. Maurice Godwin used his Predator computerized system to identify specific areas of interest in the search for Caylee Anthony. Dec. 15 – Jose Baez, lead attorney for Casey Anthony, assembles a seasoned team of defense attorneys and forensic experts for his client's impending first-degree murder trial.

Dec. 16 – Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland hears a series of emergency motions that were filed by Jose Baez. Upon reading the ruling and hearing arguments from both sides, Strickland continues the autopsy request. In regard to a defense request to oversee the crime scene, Strickland says it is not a requirement by law.I can't assist you in interfering with a murder investigation,Strickland said.They're entitled to continue until they get what it is they need to get.In response to a request for the crime scene photos, Ann Marie Delahunty, attorney for the Sheriff's Department, said that the department would not release photographs of the skull of this little girl to then be broadcast all over the news before the body has even been identified, before the parents have been notified.Delahunty said that the sheriff's department would only release select photographs to the defense.We are not in a position to release every photograph that's been taken out there,she said. That would be completely inappropriate at this time.The court agrees.

Dec. 18 – During a press conference, a sheriff's office spokesperson says that the utility worker who discovered child skeletal remains had also contacted authorities on Aug. 11, 12 and 13, to provide tips in the case. Click here for more details.

Dec. 19 – Authorities hold another press conference, during which Dr. Jan Garavaglia announces her findings. With regret, I am here to inform you that the skeletal remains found on December 11 are those of the missing toddler Caylee Anthony,Garavaglia said.Jose Baez, holds a small press conference, during which he expresses anger towards the Orange County Sheriff's Office - specifically, for the way his client was notified that remains had been positively identified as Caylee.
