24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

ISRAELS INHERITED LAND IN THE FUTURE

And here are the bounderies of the land that Israel will inherit either through war or peace or God in the future. God says its Israels land and only Israels land. They will have every inch God promised them of this land in the future.
Egypt east of the Nile River, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, The southern part of Turkey and the Western Half of Iraq west of the Euphrates. Gen 13:14-15, Psm 105:9,11, Gen 15:18, Exe 23:31, Num 34:1-12, Josh 1:4.

ALL THIS LAND ISRAEL WILL DEFINATELY OWN IN THE FUTURE, ITS ISRAELS NOT ISHMAELS LAND.

14 And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.
15 And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

19 And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.
20 All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.
21 And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.
22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.
23 As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.
24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion.
25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion.
26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion.
27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion.
28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.
29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD.
30 And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.
31 And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.
32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.
34 At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.
35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

Thirteen Ton Temple Corner Stone to Be Presented to the People of Israel MAY 21,09 By Templemount faithful

The holy cornerstone for the Third Temple will be transported by the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement as they march on Jerusalem Day, 27 Iyar 5769 (May 21, 2009). It will be driven from Ammunition Hill to the Jaffa Gate, along the western walls of the Old City to the downtown streets of Jerusalem. There it will be presented to the people of Israel and to the entire world for the first time since the destruction of the Holy Temple in 70 CE. Since 1967, Jerusalem Day has become one of the most important holidays in Israel. This public holiday commemorates the liberation of the Temple Mount, the biblical city of Jerusalem, the City of David and the biblically significant areas of Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. All of this happened in the Six Day War of 1967. It was then that G‑d returned the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to His People Israel so that they would immediately rebuild His Holy Temple in order to renew biblical worship there.The Jerusalem Day march of the Temple Mount Faithful will begin at Ammunition Hill, located in northern Jerusalem. This was the site of some of the most heroic action during the Six Day War. Intense fighting took place from bunker to bunker. Israeli soldiers sacrificed their lives in battle for the G‑d of Israel, for the Holy City of Jerusalem and for the Temple Mount. Ammunition Hill became the symbol of both Israeli heroism and the fighting together of G‑d and His people Israel in fulfillment of His prophetic Word.

The marchers will be led by a truck carrying the holy cornerstone for the Third Temple. The cornerstone, weighing 13 tons, will be carried on the back of the truck, underneath a chuppah, and decorated with Israeli flags, the Star of David and Temple flags. Silver trumpets reconstructed for future worship in the Third Temple will be blown throughout the march.On the way to the Temple Mount, the marchers will stop in front of the United States Consulate. Here they will present whatever the G‑d of Israel puts onto their hearts as a stance against the growing pressure from US President Barack Obama. They will warn him about his desire to divide the Land of Israel in order to establish a foreign, terror-filled Arab state inside the sovereign Land of Israel. (This land was given by G‑d to the Jewish people alone in an eternal covenant.) The marchers will also warn him concerning his pressure to stop Jewish settlement of the Land and to remove the settlements in Judea and Samaria. They will call out to President Obama: Take your hands off the Land of the G‑d and the people of Israel! They will warn him of the divine judgment from G‑d as prophesied by the Prophet Joel:For behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down in the valley of Jehosophat, and will enter into judgment with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and have divided up my land (Joel 4:2).When the marchers arrive at the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, they will blow the silver trumpets and swear their faithfulness to Jerusalem while dancing with the flags. They will then continue through the Old City and ascend to the Holy Temple Mount. There they will swear their faithfulness and devotion to the G‑dly anointing on the Faithful Movement to build the third Temple of G‑d in our lifetime.

When the marchers arrive at the Jaffa Gate in the Old City, the holy cornerstone will continue to the downtown streets of Jerusalem, where it will be presented to the people of Israel and to the entire world. This great occasion will be one of the most exciting events that Israel has experienced during this special end time age.Everyone is invited to participate in this exciting, historic and G‑dly event. The war ended the Jordanian occupation of historic Jerusalem and led to the reunification of the city.You, who fought to liberate Jerusalem, removed the strangulating hold over the city with your bodies, Netanyahu said, addressing the fallen soldiers. You reunited the city and allowed Jerusalem to flourish once again.Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem benefits Muslims and Christians as well as Jews, Netanyahu said. Only under Israeli sovereignty is continued freedom of worship and free access to Christian, Muslim and Jewish holy sites guaranteed, he stated. Only thus can members of all faiths and all minority groups continue to live in security.

Peres: Jerusalem Our Capital
President Shimon Peres spoke as well, affirming the Jewish connection to Jerusalem while dismissing other claims to the city. Jerusalem was and remains the capital of Israel. Israel has never had another capital city, and Jerusalem has never been the capital city of another people,he told the crowd.Like Netanyahu, Peres reminded his listeners that only under Jewish rule were members of all faiths welcome to pray at their holy sites. Peres offered his sympathy to families who lost loved ones in the battle for Jerusalem. The fallen soldiers saved what is most precious to us throughout the generations, Jerusalem,he said.

(IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem will remain Israel’s eternal capital forever.So stated Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom on Wednesday at a special Knesset session marking Jerusalem Day, adding,This is not a promise; it’s a fact.Participating in the special Knesset session were Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, his predecessor Uri Lupoliansky, and members of the Jerusalem City Council.Knesset Speaker Ruby Rivlin, a former Jerusalem City Council member, opened the session by calling upon the Mayor and the City Council to do all they can to restore to Israeli citizens’ a sense of pride in their capital city. Former Speaker Dalia Itzik (Kadima), still reeling from the revelations that she spent more than NIS 100,000 of public monies to refurbish her home for official business,spoke of poverty in the capital.But Minister Shalom, still considered to be a political rival of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, grabbed the limelight with his unequivocal statement. We disagree among ourselves on many issues, but regarding Jerusalem, the overwhelming majority agrees. There are no two Jerusalems. There is one Jerusalem, and it will never be a topic for discussion.

Livni: No is Not an Answer
Opposition Leader Tzipi Livni, who led negotiations with the Palestinian Authority under the previous government that reportedly included an agreement to divide Jerusalem, also spoke at the special session: I suggest to all of us not to preach and not to divide us into those who love Jerusalem, those who are more obligated to her, and those who are less… The State of Israel must have a vision that is translated into a program; the way to protect Israel, its security, its national interests, and Jerusalem and the holy sites – is by translating the vision into an Israeli initiative. We won’t preserve Jerusalem by saying no to everything.MK Sha’ul Mofaz, a rival of Livni within the Kadima party, took a different stance in his speech: It is an unshakeable commandment for generations to work for Jerusalem’s future and permanent unification. We must say this with a loud voice and with daily actions, in order that, Heaven forfend, not even one weak voice should be sounded in our midst calling to lift a hand against our eternal capital.

When I was a kid growing up in northern California, I used to collect buttons. You know, the kind you pin on your shirt or jacket with cute little phrases on them like: I was crooked, till I went straight (from my orthodontist when the braces finally came off) or my Mom's favorite, which simply said: Go ask your father. Outside the capital this important day goes by virtually unnoticed.When my older sister came back from a summer in Israel, she brought me a button with a picture of the Western Wall and its surroundings on it which said in bold letters, Jerusalem is one! Honestly, when I got that pin I had no idea what it meant. I just put it in the shoe box with the others.This Thursday night and Friday is Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day), but outside the capital this important day goes by virtually unnoticed. Jerusalem Day commemorates the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City (including the Western Wall) during the Six Day War in June 1967. On May 12, 1968, the government proclaimed a new holiday - Jerusalem Day - to be celebrated on the 28th of Iyar, the Hebrew date on which the divided city of Jerusalem became one.

The Chief Rabbinate of Israel declared Jerusalem Day a minor religious holiday to thank God for the six-day victory and for answering the 2,000-year-old prayer of Next Year in Jerusalem. Religious Zionists gather for special holiday prayers on this day, and some hold special festive meals and wear holiday clothing. On March 23, 1998, the Knesset passed the Jerusalem Day Law, formally making the day a national holiday.As wonderful as all that is, Jerusalem Day has become just that - a day for Jerusalem. Jerusalem will have its parades, its festive dancing at the Kotel, its Jerusalem flag with the lion on it flapping in the wind. It's neither Jerusalem nor its residents that I am worried about. Travel outside the capital and you will hardly see any signs of this holiday at all. Sure, many communities across Israel and the Diaspora hold festive prayer services or concerts for Jerusalem Day. Noami Shemer's classic ballad Jerusalem of Gold is sure to be sung countless times across the nation this week. But ask the average non-Jerusalemite Israeli on the street what's special about this Friday and you will likely get a blank stare.Now, I don't begrudge Tel Aviv for pulling out all the stops for its centennial celebrations this year (okay, maybe they overdid it a little); how often does a city hit 100? But let's not forget about Jerusalem. If you're reading this article, then you're already ahead of the game, but what about those who don't? Will the rest of the Israeli press cover Jerusalem Day at all this year, or will they regulate it to their back pages and end of their newscasts, along with the weather reports? Will there be television programs about Jerusalem on Thursday night or will they take a backseat to whatever passes as prime time TV these days (maybe the Israeli version of The Amazing Race, filmed on the other side of the globe)? What can be done? Last year, then Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski asked the transportation minister and the head of the Israel Airports Authority (IAA) to change the code for Israel's international Ben-Gurion Airport from TLV to JLM (Jerusalem Airport). That idea was rejected out of hand, but the former mayor had his reasons.

Ben-Gurion Airport is today the main gateway to the State of Israel, wrote Lupolianski. Precisely because of the refusal of many countries to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, it would be fitting to change the formal initials of the terminal from TLV to JLM, and to add the name Jerusalem to the airport's official name.Don't worry, Ben-Gurion Airport is not going to change its name from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem anytime soon. The idea may not be too practical, but the thinking behind it has merit. What the former mayor was trying to do was raise the consciousness of people in Israel and around the world (even in a minor way) about Jerusalem.
Simply focusing on Jerusalem is one is not enough. We need to emphasize that Jerusalem is number one.The Ministry of Education recently announced that 50% of Israeli students in public schools had never visited Jerusalem at all. Efforts are now being made to organize trips to Jerusalem (which will include visits to important sites like the Kotel, Yad Vashem, Ammunition Hill, the Knesset, etc.) for all Israeli schools. This is certainly a step in the right direction.At every Jewish wedding, just before the groom stomps on the glass, the following verses from Psalms (reminding us in times of gladness that the Temple in Jerusalem has yet to be rebuilt) are said: If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither, let my tongue cleave to my palate if I do not remember you... if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy.(137, 5-7)I believe the key to those verses is in the last phrase - above my highest joy. Jerusalem will never be forgotten, not in our prayers nor in our feelings. But simply focusing on Jerusalem is one is not enough. We need to emphasize that Jerusalem is number one.Ideally, we should do this every day, but at the very least, on Jerusalem Day.

Ancient First Temple Artifacts Uncovered in Jerusalem

Iran, which is classified as Persian and not an Arab country, is part of the Islamic group.Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has opposed agreeing to a new PA state without knowing ahead of time what it would entail.The PA recently has escalated its propaganda campaign that disassociates the holy site from any connection with Judaism and claims it is solely a Muslim site. A group of Arabs demonstrated at Shechem Gate in the Old City Thursday morning, shouting anti-Israeli slogans as Jews began celebrating Jerusalem Reunification Day.Sovereignty over the Temple Mount, based in Jerusalem, has been one of the foundations for a new Arab country that the PA wants following the proposed expulsion of more than half a million Jews from Judea and Samaria, as well as from Jerusalem neighborhoods that were established after the 1967 Six-Day War.The PA's official website as far back as 2005 rejected the Jewish connection with the Western Wall (Kotel), the remains of the wall that surrounded the Holy Temple area. Muslim legend claims that Mohammed tied his horse to the wall before ascending to heaven, even though the city of Jerusalem is not even mentioned in the Koran.

Writer Daniel Pipes several years offered one million dollars to anyone who can find the name Jerusalem explicitly written in the Koran.The Israeli government initially ignored the PA propaganda campaign, but Rabbi Chaim Richman, director of the International Department of the of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem, warned in 2005 that the PA claims have far reaching implications for Israel.Rabbi Richman said that the PA’s denial of the Jewish Temple's existence is part of a campaign to totally eradicate, erase, and destroy all Jewish connection to the Temple Mount, Jerusalem and the land of Israel.The PA incitement against Israel, which violates the American Roadmap plan, also attributes the 1929 Arab pogrom to Jewish efforts to claim ownership of the Western Wall.The Islam Online website Wednesday re-asserted long-standing accusations that archaeological excavations at the Temple Mount are designed to cause a real and immediate danger to the Al Aqsa mosque. The latest charges were attributed to Sheikh Ra'ad Salah, leader of the Islamic Movement’s Galilee branch and who has been arrested several times for incitement against Israel.Sheikh Salah told the website he is certain Israel has a diabolical plan to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque in a way that would appear as is happening as a result of natural causes, such as an earthquake.According to Islam Online,The Israeli government, in coordination with powerful settler groups, began digging an extensive tunnel network throughout the Old City. Israel describes the tunnels as tourist projects that pose no threat to Islamic holy places, [but] Palestinians and some Israeli organizations, including the Israeli Committee against House Demolition, believe that the ultimate goal is to create a subterranean access route to attack Al-Aqsa and other Islamic shrines in the area.

EU Funds Pro-PA Stance on Jerusalem

(IsraelNN.com) The European Union is providing millions of shekels to organizations that promote the Palestinian Authority's claims in Jerusalem, according to NGO Monitor. In a report released Tuesday, the group detailed EU support for groups ostensibly committed to human rights and coexistence that are also overtly pro-PA on political issues.Among the offenders were Ir Amim and B'Tselem, both of which refer to Jews living in historic Jerusalem as settlers, despite the fact that the area in question is historically Jewish. All areas occupied by Jordan between the years 1948 and 1967 are considered rightfully Arab, even those in which Jews lived for centuries prior to the establishment of the state of Israel.B'Tselem and another EU-funded group, the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ), described Israeli enforcement of building laws in Arab neighborhoods of Jerusalem as an attempt to drive Arabs out of the city. ARIJ refers to Jewish sites in historic Jerusalem as illegal settlements,and refers to the IDF as the Israeli Occupation forces.The groups' positions mirror those of the PA, which claims ownership over all land previously occupied by Jordan, including the Old City, the City of David, and the Temple Mount.ARIJ, Ir Amim and other EU-funded groups have also delegitimized Israeli archaeological research in historic Jerusalem. Ir Amim has reported that Israeli excavations are an attempt to create Jewish settlements in Jerusalem, while ARIJ has blamed Israeli excavations for damage to Arab buildings.The positions espoused by B'Tselem, Ir Amim, ARIJ, B'Makom, and other such groups have a serious impact on international policy, NGO Monitor warned. EU-funded studies conducted by such blatantly political groups have been taken as fact, with EU countries making no independent attempt to verify the findings, the group said.

Among the reports taken as fact were an Ir Amim report claiming that the construction of a synagogue near the Kotel (Western Wall) would harm Muslim sites, and a B'Tselem report claiming that Arabs in Jerusalem benefit from under 10 percent of the municipal budget.The EU contributed millions to Ir Amim, B'Tselem and other such groups in 2007, NGO Monitor found. The EU, Norway and Britain together paid most of Ir Amim's four million shekel budget in 2007.NGO Monitor director Professor Gerald Steinberg said the EU funding provided to politically motivated groups such as B'Tselem and Ir Amim is one of the most damaging aspects of European funding directed against Israel.The funding given to such groups is used to mount diplomatic offensives against Israel, he said.Steinberg criticized B'Tselem and other self-proclaimed human rights groups for their political activity, saying,These NGOs should not be abusing their moral claims on human rights and coexistence in order to support efforts to turn back the clock to the dark days of 1948-1967, when no Jews could live or even visit the Old City and the Jewish sacred sites.

JERUSALEM – Christians in the Palestinian territories are being watched, a spokesman for the Palestinian Authority admitted to WND. We have been watching this Christian organization and for the moment there is nothing special in their activity,said Adnan Dmeire, spokesman for the PA's security organizations in West Bank. Dmeire was referring to the Association of the Holy Book, one of the main groups that attends to the needs of Christians in the Palestinian territories. The group has been accused by both the PA and Hamas of carrying out missionary activities. A Bible store the association sponsored in the Gaza Strip – the only Christian bookstore in the territory – was attacked by Islamists several times. The store's owner, Rami Ayyad, was found shot to death in 2007, his body riddled with bullets. Dmeire was responding to a WND inquiry regarding a Hamas accusation earlier this week that the PA was allowing the Christian association to carry out missionary activity in the West Bank.

Christian persecution trend

Christians living in the Palestinian territories have not faired well under PA or Hamas rule.In 2006, a YMCA in the northern West Bank was attacked. Gunmen destroyed the locks on the YMCA's entrance gates, crushed the gates, then entered the building and set it ablaze. Local fire brigades reportedly rushed to the scene and stopped the blaze before it spread to neighboring buildings. The attack occurred just after a PA-linked preacher accused the YMCA of missionary activity. Following the YMCA attack, one Christian leader, an aide to Jerusalem's Latin Patriarch Michel Sabah who asked his name be withheld for fear of Muslim retaliation, called the rampage part of a general trend of Christian persecution in Palestinian areas. It's been happening all over the West Bank and Gaza,said the aide.There have been rampant reports of abuses and persecution in several West Bank towns taken over by the PA. Anti-Christian riots have been reported in Ramallah, Nazareth and surrounding villages as well as in towns in Gaza, where Christians have been targeted in scores of attacks, some deadly. In Bethlehem, local Christians have long complained of anti-Christian violence. The city's Christian population, once 90 percent, declined drastically since the PA took control in December 1995. Christians now make up less than 25 percent of Bethlehem, according to Israeli surveys.

Christian leaders and residents in Bethlehem told WND they face an atmosphere of regular hostility. They said Palestinian armed groups stir tension by holding militant demonstrations and marches in the streets. They spoke of instances in which Christian shopkeepers' stores were ransacked and Christian homes attacked. One of the most urgent problems involves the unilateral confiscation of Christian property by local Islamists.It is a regular phenomenon in Bethlehem, Samir Qumsiyeh, a Bethlehem Christian leader and owner of the Beit Sahour-based private Al-Mahd (Nativity) TV station, told WND.They go to a poor Christian person with a forged power of attorney document, then they say we have papers proving you're living on our land. If you confront them, many times the Christian is beaten. You can't do anything about it. The Christian loses, and he runs away.In the Gaza Strip, Christians fare worse under Hamas rule. The Islamist group took over the territory in 2007. About 3,000 Christians live in the Gaza Strip, which has a population of over 1 million. In December, Christian leaders in Gaza told WND they held only small, quiet Christmas celebrations after local leaders received warnings from Muslim groups against any public display of Christianity during the holiday season. Hamas claimed the Christian celebrations were muted to protest what it said was an Israeli siege of the coastal Gaza Strip.Since Hamas' rise to power, Christian in Gaza repeatedly have been targeted. Jihadia Salafiya, an Islamist outreach group with a so-called military wing, is suspected of many of the Islamist attacks, such as a May 2007 shooting against a United Nations school in Gaza after it allowed boys and girls to participate in the same sporting event. One person was killed in the attack. In the case of Ayyad, the bible store owner, WND quoted witnesses stating he was publicly tortured a few blocks from his store before he was shot to death. The witnesses said they saw three armed men, two of whom were wearing masks, beat Ayyad repeatedly with clubs and the butts of their guns while they accused him of attempting to spread Christianity in Gaza. The witnesses said that after sustaining the beating, Ayyad was shot by all three men.

Christians warned: Accept Islamic law

Sheik Abu Saqer, leader of Jihadia Salafiya, told WND in an exclusive interview after Hamas first seized Gaza that Christians could continue living safely in the Gaza Strip only if they accepted Islamic law, including a ban on alcohol and on women roaming publicly without proper head coverings. [Now that Hamas is in power,] the situation has changed 180 degrees in Gaza,said Abu Saqer, speaking from Gaza. Jihadia Salafiya and other Islamic movements will ensure Christian schools and institutions show publicly what they are teaching to be sure they are not carrying out missionary activity. No more alcohol on the streets. All women, including non-Muslims, need to understand they must be covered at all times while in public,he said. Also the activities of Internet cafes, pool halls and bars must be stopped, said Abu Saqer. If it goes on, we'll attack these things very harshly.Abu Saqer accused the leadership of the Gaza Christian community of proselytizing and trying to convert Muslims with funding from American evangelicals.This missionary activity is endangering the entire Christian community in Gaza,he said. Abu Saqer claimed there was no need for the thousands of Christians in Gaza to maintain a large number of institutions in the territory.He said Hamas must work to impose an Islamic rule or it will lose the authority it has and the will of the people.

When I heard President Obama's speech yesterday in which he practically accused the former administration of war crimes, I had to go out into my yard and walk off my anger. The new president assessed all previous efforts to prevent terrorism against U.S. targets either a waste of time or a criminal enterprise that should cause all Americans to hang their heads in shame. One wonders if our new president has yet realized who it was he was referring to. Although he no doubt intended to attack the previous administration, imagine how it must sound to the family of some U.S. soldier killed or maimed in the past seven years. Was all their suffering for nothing? What about those members of the armed forces who executed lawful orders that the president now speaks of with such derision? Brigitte Gabriel combats politically correct notions about the religion of peace in They Must be Stopped: Why We Must Defeat Radical Islam and How we Can Do It.I know some have argued that brutal methods like waterboarding were necessary to keep us safe. I could not disagree more, the president told the nation in his address from the National Archives.

Mr. Obama continued, As commander in chief, I see the intelligence, I bear responsibility for keeping this country safe, and I reject the assertion that these are the most effective means of interrogation. What's more, they undermine the rule of law. They alienate us in the world. They serve as a recruitment tool for terrorists and increase the will of our enemies to fight us, while decreasing the will of others to work with America. They risk the lives of our troops by making it less likely that others will surrender to them in battle, and more likely that Americans will be mistreated if they are captured. In short, they did not advance our war and counterterrorism efforts – they undermined them, and that is why I ended them once and for all.What, do you think are the odds that American treatment of detainees has any bearing on how al-Qaida treats its American captives? Before there was Gitmo, there was Danny Pearl. The guy who cut Danny Pearl's head off and sent back the videotape was Khalid Sheik Mohammed. And very importantly, he was one of the planners and facilitators of the 9/11 attacks. Sheik Mohammed was one of only three detainees subjected to waterboarding. But first he was involved in of all the above. I would think the order of events is important if we were arguing a cause and effect timeline. Rather than keep us safer, the prison at Guantanamo has weakened American national security,Obama said.It is a rallying cry for our enemies, he argued. Obama would have us conjure up the mental image of the 9/11 terrorists shouting,Remember Gitmo! But I am once again forced to recall the chronology – first there was 9/11 and then there was Gitmo. President Obama accused the Bush administration of maintaining Gitmo to operate outside the law (which is, by definition, a crime) in order to prosecute the war on terror, (which is, by definition, a war crime) as if the terrorists detained at Gitmo were innocent bystanders.

President Obama never fails to blame America for losing its moral compass or losing its way or substituting fear for judgment – the profoundly candid stuff that earned him such accolades by the left-leaning drive-by media. It's easy to be candid when you're blaming everything on the previous administration or our military. Obama isn't shy about admitting to mistakes, just so long as they aren't his. Obama closed by saying,And I do know with certainty that we can defeat al-Qaida. He even told us the reason why – it makes you wonder why nobody thought of it before: Because the terrorists can only succeed if they swell their ranks and alienate America from our allies, and they will never be able to do that if we stay true to who we are; if we forge tough and durable approaches to fighting terrorism that are anchored in our timeless ideals.According to the president, the way to defeat al-Qaida is not by defeating them in the traditional sense. We just have to be so fair and so nice at the same time that the enemy will be so awestruck by our adherence to our timeless ideals they'll pack up their stuff and go home. I have news for the president and his far-left administration – you have no idea of the beliefs and nature of the Muslim terrorists that are determined to destroy us. Our ideals and principles are the very thing they hate most about us. They will interpret this latest speech as weakness. More than anything else, this will encourage them to press in for the kill against a leadership that can be easily deceived and manipulated. At just the time we need the most aggressive and effective intelligence on these terrorists, this administration has all but neutralized them by calling all their courageous and dedicated service worthy of possible prosecution.May God save the United States of America from this kind of leadership that borders on criminal ignorance of the motivating factors of our most deadly enemy.

The 20th century could well be called the century of Holocaust. I think it had something to do with the powerful assertion of godless self-sufficiency that characterized its most deadly and infamous ideologies. The communists, the fascists, the Nazis all have this in common: that they fancy themselves creators of new worlds of human possibility, willing servants of a fantasy in which the future, wrought by human hands, will advance beyond God's limited vision of human nature to birth before the universe the superman, the everlasting Reich, the workers' paradise, the endlessly perfected revolution of hope, change and unimpeded progress. Obtusely brushing aside the intrinsic contradiction between unlimited being and the objective possibilities of existence, these fantasies of human pridefulness have ended, all of them, in murderous nightmares. They expanded the possibilities of humanity all right, but only to the extent of adding hitherto unimagined horrors. As they are part of a people who, on account of their very existence as a people, experienced the full brunt of this murderous pride, it has always seemed incongruous to me that so many Jewish poets (using that word in its broadest sense to include all manner of creative artists) and intellectuals seem at ease with the utopian delusions of the left. According to the biblical account, the will to assimilate our own destruction is one of the principles of our nature, one of the reasons we are as we are. Just as Eve reached for the deadly fruit, so we are inclined to surrender to the siren song of future godhood that distracts us from the voice and presence of God within. Because, in a sense beyond our rational understanding, we are already what we seek to become; the urge to realize our freedom in action makes it harder for us to accept our freedom in fact. Though time and again we experience, or inflict upon others, the mortal consequences of our vain ambition, we will not let go of it.

In this sense, sincere Christian belief admonishes the pride of every non-Jewish people, for whom it represents the truth that they are not the people chosen by God to be the earthly forbears of the Son of Man. But just as it challenges their pride, so it challenges the humility of the Jews. In their different ways both Jews and non-Jews are forced to confront the responsibility it implies. But inasmuch as it is easier to accept a recognized boundary than to constitute and accept it, the Jewish responsibility may be an obligation harder to understand or to forgive. Why did God choose them to epitomize the sacrifice He makes of Himself for the sake of our existence? Why would it be for them to bear the wounds He takes upon Himself so that all may be made whole? WND's Aaron Klein gets to the heart of Israel's decline in his new book,The Late Great State of Israel: How Enemies Within and Without Threaten the Jewish Nation's Survival.In its true consequence for the heart, I imagine that the experience of the Holocaust would mean sensitivity so attuned to human suffering and injustice that every such infliction upon anyone, anywhere would resonate within and break your heart anew. My Christian understanding sees this as the experience of Christ upon the cross, and therefore as a possibility made manifest first and especially in Jewish flesh and blood. But if Christ's crucifixion represents a Jewish experience, so too does his agony in the Garden, his moment of longing for a fate other than sacrifice, in which acceptance of that fate coexists in the instant with the will to push it aside, and by that rejection make for himself another fate devoid of suffering and death.

As there are some Christians who linger in the moment of crucifixion, so I imagine there are Jews who live in the moment of doubt about God's will, when we are apt to be transfixed by our own vision of peace, happiness and hope. However that may be, there are certainly similarities between the temptations of that moment, and the seductive allure of utopian ideologies that brush aside God's intention for human life in pursuit of a godlike perfection of human will and freedom. America appears to be in the midst of such temptation now, as it stands preoccupied with a man whose words promise hope and a better world, but whose deeds echo the stolid disregard for innocent life that characterized the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. The incongruity of this moment appears especially in this: that he could not have achieved his goal without the support of rich and influential people from the very community indelibly scarred by the 20th century's inhuman ambitions. Lamentably, I believe that their reward for this support will be policies that usher in the destruction of Israel and greatly encourage and strengthen the deadly aims of those in the Islamic world whose lust for its destruction has led them to ingest and act upon some of the foulest ordure left by the Nazis' dysentery of hatred for the Jewish people.For me the clear forewarning of this probable outcome has been and remains Obama's unswerving commitment to the instrumental destruction of nascent human life in and outside of the womb. People often speak of the way in which the Nazis and other purveyors of racist ideology play on aesthetic prejudice and sensibility to turn people against the intended victims of racist atrocity – dehumanizing them in order to prepare the perpetration of slaughter. Racism especially relies upon the denigration of biological origins to achieve this effect, as the Nazis did in their emphasis on the racial contamination supposedly represented by even one iota of Jewish or other inferior blood.

What then of the ideology that denies the human nature of all the antecedents of humanity, treating the flourishing seed of human existence as nothing more than slime.How can anything so unlike what we have become have anything to do with what we are? it asks suggestively. I see in this the very ploy used to blind a Christian civilization to the truth of its spiritual origins amongst the seemingly alien Jews. I see in this the hateful sophistry used to blind supposedly freedom-loving Americans to the crime involved in depriving alien-seeming blacks of the rights the principles of liberty ascribe to all humanity. How can we hope that such things will never again happen if we encourage to its final, anti-humanitarian extreme the mentality that judges by appearances what cannot be understood apart from the transcendent reality that constitutes their meaning? If we fail to respect the inner being of the cells of nascent life, what of the inner meaning of the perishable flesh and bone, the moistened organization of dust that, to all appearances, we never cease to be? Tragically, there are too many in the Jewish community as in others (including, of course, the black American community, whose elites are still celebrating Obama's false claim of triumph in their name) who will not see the connection between the mentality of godless, prideful utopianism and the perpetration of atrocities like abortion in the name of human freedom, progress and perfection. Human beings can offer no boundless hope, except we break the vessels of frail humanity. That seems like justice only to those who are not among the shards. Ironic then that Jews and black Americans, two peoples made one by their familiarity with brokenness, should be the instruments though which a man is lifted up whose whole purpose seems to be to bring on for America the destruction associated with this godless, false utopian pride.

Russia Dumps Dollar as Reserve Currency - Adopts Euro

The euro-based share of reserve assets of Russia’s Central Bank increased to the level of 47.5 percent as of January 1, 2009 and exceeded the investments in dollar assets, which made up 41.5 percent, The Vedomosti newspaper wrote.The dollar has thus lost the status of the basic reserve currency for the Russian Central Bank, the annual report, which the bank provided to the State Duma, said…The change of the structure of the currency portfolio of the Bank of Russia has not affected the official peg of the dual currency basket, which includes $0.55 and 0.45 EUR.Anyone see a trend?

THE 19th century was dominated by the British Empire, the 20th century by the United States. We may now be entering the Asian century, dominated by a rising China and its currency. While the dollar’s status as the major reserve currency will not vanish overnight, we can no longer take it for granted. Sooner than we think, the dollar may be challenged by other currencies, most likely the Chinese renminbi. This would have serious costs for America, as our ability to finance our budget and trade deficits cheaply would disappear.

Op-Ed Contributor: China’s Heart of Gold (May 14, 2009)Traditionally, empires that hold the global reserve currency are also net foreign creditors and net lenders. The British Empire declined — and the pound lost its status as the main global reserve currency — when Britain became a net debtor and a net borrower in World War II. Today, the United States is in a similar position. It is running huge budget and trade deficits, and is relying on the kindness of restless foreign creditors who are starting to feel uneasy about accumulating even more dollar assets. The resulting downfall of the dollar may be only a matter of time. But what could replace it? The British pound, the Japanese yen and the Swiss franc remain minor reserve currencies, as those countries are not major powers. Gold is still a barbaric relic whose value rises only when inflation is high. The euro is hobbled by concerns about the long-term viability of the European Monetary Union. That leaves the renminbi. China is a creditor country with large current account surpluses, a small budget deficit, much lower public debt as a share of G.D.P. than the United States, and solid growth. And it is already taking steps toward challenging the supremacy of the dollar. Beijing has called for a new international reserve currency in the form of the International Monetary Fund’s special drawing rights (a basket of dollars, euros, pounds and yen). China will soon want to see its own currency included in the basket, as well as the renminbi used as a means of payment in bilateral trade.

At the moment, though, the renminbi is far from ready to achieve reserve currency status. China would first have to ease restrictions on money entering and leaving the country, make its currency fully convertible for such transactions, continue its domestic financial reforms and make its bond markets more liquid. It would take a long time for the renminbi to become a reserve currency, but it could happen. China has already flexed its muscle by setting up currency swaps with several countries (including Argentina, Belarus and Indonesia) and by letting institutions in Hong Kong issue bonds denominated in renminbi, a first step toward creating a deep domestic and international market for its currency.If China and other countries were to diversify their reserve holdings away from the dollar — and they eventually will — the United States would suffer. We have reaped significant financial benefits from having the dollar as the reserve currency. In particular, the strong market for the dollar allows Americans to borrow at better rates. We have thus been able to finance larger deficits for longer and at lower interest rates, as foreign demand has kept Treasury yields low. We have been able to issue debt in our own currency rather than a foreign one, thus shifting the losses of a fall in the value of the dollar to our creditors. Having commodities priced in dollars has also meant that a fall in the dollar’s value doesn’t lead to a rise in the price of imports.

Now, imagine a world in which China could borrow and lend internationally in its own currency. The renminbi, rather than the dollar, could eventually become a means of payment in trade and a unit of account in pricing imports and exports, as well as a store of value for wealth by international investors. Americans would pay the price. We would have to shell out more for imported goods, and interest rates on both private and public debt would rise. The higher private cost of borrowing could lead to weaker consumption and investment, and slower growth. This decline of the dollar might take more than a decade, but it could happen even sooner if we do not get our financial house in order. The United States must rein in spending and borrowing, and pursue growth that is not based on asset and credit bubbles. For the last two decades America has been spending more than its income, increasing its foreign liabilities and amassing debts that have become unsustainable. A system where the dollar was the major global currency allowed us to prolong reckless borrowing. Now that the dollar’s position is no longer so secure, we need to shift our priorities. This will entail investing in our crumbling infrastructure, alternative and renewable resources and productive human capital — rather than in unnecessary housing and toxic financial innovation. This will be the only way to slow down the decline of the dollar, and sustain our influence in global affairs.Nouriel Roubini is a professor of economics at the New York University Stern School of Business and the chairman of an economic consulting firm.

China, which is pushing to end the dominance of the dollar as a worldwide reserve, has agreed a Rmb70bn ($10.24bn, £7.18bn, €7.76bn) currency swap with Argentina that will allow it to receive renminbi instead of dollars for its exports to the Latin American country.Xinhua, the official Chinese news agency, said the deal was signed on Sunday by Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People’s Bank of China, and Martín Redrado, Argentine central bank president, in Medellín, Colombia, where they are attending a meeting of the Inter-American Development Bank.Beijing has signed Rmb650bn ($95bn, €72bn, £67bn) of deals since December with Malaysia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Belarus, Indonesia and, now, Argentina in an attempt to unblock trade financing that has been severely curtailed by the crisis.Gordon Brown, UK prime minister, told a summit in Chile at the weekend that this week’s Group of 20 meeting in London, which both China and Argentina will attend, needed to ensure vast trade credits were unlocked to help get the world economy back on its feet. The World Bank estimates as much as $300bn (€227bn, £210bn) could be needed.China has suggested replacing the dollar with an enhanced version of the International Monetary Fund’s unit of account, the special drawing right or SDR. I’ve written numerous essays on the facts that the dollar is losing its status as world reserve currency, the bubble in treasury bonds may be ending, and the U.S. may very well lose its AAA sovereign credit status.Bloomberg writer Mark Gilbert addresses all three facts today:The odds on the dollar, Treasury bonds and the U.S. government’s AAA grade all heading for the dumpster are shortening.While currency forecasting is a mug’s game and bond yields can’t quite decide whether to dive toward deflation or surge in anticipation of inflation, every time I think about that credit rating, I hear what Agent Smith in the Matrix movies called the sound of inevitability.Several policy missteps suggest that investors should stop trusting — and lending to — the U.S. government. These include the state’s pressure on Bank of America Corp. to buy Merrill Lynch & Co.; the priority given to Chrysler LLC’s unions over the automaker’s secured creditors; and the freedom that some banks will regain to supersize executive bonuses by giving back part of the government money bolstering their balance sheets…All currencies are being debased dramatically by their central banks at extraordinary speeds and so in relative terms it appears there is no currency problem, Lee Quaintance and Paul Brodsky of QB Asset Management said in a research note earlier this month.In reality, however, paper money is highly vulnerable to a public catalyst that serves to acknowledge it is all merely vapor money.Why pick on the dollar, though? Well, not necessarily because the U.S. economy is in worse shape than those of the euro area, the U.K. or Japan. The biggest problem is that external investors — particularly China — have more skin in the dollar game than in euros, yen or pounds, which makes the U.S. currency the most likely candidate to meet the cleaver in a crisis of confidence about post-crunch government finances…

When the government parks its tanks on capitalism’s lawns, that spells trouble for those who invest, add value and create jobs,says Tim Price, director of investments at PFP Wealth Management in London.Trillion-dollar bailouts do not only leave massive public-sector deficits in their wake, they also leave the presence of the heavy hand of government all over industry and markets, so the outlook for government bonds is less promising than the economic textbooks on deflation would have us believe.For the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, the Congressional Budget Office forecasts a record deficit of $1.75 trillion, almost four times the previous year’s $454.8 billion shortfall and about 13 percent of gross domestic product. Bear in mind that the target demanded of European nations wanting to join the euro was a deficit no greater than 3 percent of GDP.David Walker, a former U.S. comptroller general, wrote in the Financial Times on May 12 that the U.S.’s top credit rating looks incompatible with an accumulated negative net worth of more than $11 trillion and additional off-balance-sheet obligations of $45 trillion.One could even argue that our government does not deserve a triple A credit rating based on our current financial condition, structural fiscal imbalances and political stalemate,he wrote…Dropping the U.S. from the top rating grade, though, wouldn’t mean the nation is about to default on its debt obligations; there’s a subtle distinction between ability to pay and propensity to fail to pay. There’s also a compelling argument that no government should be enjoying the benefits of a top credit grade in the current financial climate.Using the definitions outlined by Standard & Poor’s, a one- step cut into the AA rated category would nudge the U.S.’s creditworthiness into a very strong capacity to fulfill its commitments, just weaker than the extremely strong capabilities demanded of AAA rated borrowers. Steep declines in the economies of three of the U.S.'s biggest trading partners -- Mexico, Japan and Germany -- underscored the severity of the global recession and put pressure on major industrialized nations to revive moribund global trade talks.On Wednesday, Mexico became the latest country to report a plunge in output. The country's gross domestic product fell at an annualized rate of 21.5% in the first quarter, the worst performance since the 1995 peso crisis led to an International Monetary Fund and U.S. Treasury financial rescue. This time, Mexico has insulated itself somewhat by arranging a $47 billion IMF credit line in advance.Mexico's decline followed by a day Japan's report that its economy contracted in the first quarter at a 15.2% clip, its worst performance since 1955. Last week, Germany said its first quarter decline in GDP, an annualized 14.4%, was the worst since 1970.

All three countries depend on exports to the U.S. But they have nose-dived as U.S. consumers cut back purchases of autos, electronics and other goods mass produced abroad. For the first three months of 2009, U.S. merchandise imports declined about 30% to $352.5 billion compared with the same period a year earlier. Mexico's ties to the U.S. are particularly strong because of the North American Free Trade Agreement, and Mexican auto production in the first quarter fell 41% from the year before.Most forecasters and governments see signs that the current quarter will be better than the first, and the rise in global stock markets suggests investors believe the worst is past. EU states enter bidding contest for new energy body

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS – Sweden is set to inherit the thorny problem of where to place a number of newly-born European agencies when it takes over the EU presidency on 1 July.Earlier this week, three EU states - Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia - indicated their interest in hosting the new energy body, proof that the dossier is gaining in political influence. All three bidders expect the contest to be quite tough.It is mainly a matter of prestige, says Piotr Kaczynski from the Brussels-based Centre for European policy studies. He points out that a host does not have a privileged influence over how an agency functions. His colleague and energy regulation expert, Christian Egenhofer, also predicts fierce competition as European agencies generally tend to expand, create other business opportunities as well as exposure for a country.The idea to set up the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) was given the green light in April 2009 - together with rules to further liberalise the union's gas and electricity market.The year and a half long process saw heated debate over whether to break energy giants into production and supply wings as well as wrangling - although less visible - over the ACER's future powers. Several EU capitals were quick to make sure that the agency - foreseen to receive up to seven million euro from EU coffers each year and employ some 40 to 50 people - would not curtail the powers of national regulators. In the end, the agency secured legally binding powers over disputes involving cross-border pipelines and networks, should national operators fail to agree on a solution.

As the energy market further integrates and member states become more confident working under its umbrella, the agency is likely to expand its competencies and cover more topics, Mr Egenhofer predicts.Greece and Cyprus briefly flirted with the idea of hosting the agency, but the contest has finally narrowed down to three capitals - Bucharest, Bratislava and Ljubljana.It is difficult to pin down major differences in the official pamphlets as all candidates underline their belief in a single European energy market, their expertise in the sector, their ideal geographical position or the high quality of life in their cities.Romania is presenting itself as an important actor of the regional energy market in South-Eastern Europe involved in developing key European energy projects.Slovenia also stresses that it stands at the cross-roads of the EU energy market due to the country's connection to southern Europe. Slovakia, for its part, has highlighted that its capital is well connected to other European cities such as Vienna, Prague, Warsaw or Maribor.Both Bratislava and Ljubljana also underline their Schengen - the EU's borderless zone - and eurozone membership.

Trade-offs?

The agency's future seat will be first discussed on 12 June when EU ministers in charge of energy meet in Luxembourg. The Czech EU presidency aims to see whether any of the three bidders is capable of securing convincing support among their colleagues.However, the issue is likely to fall on the shoulders of the upcoming Swedish EU presidency, with diplomats suggesting Sweden could aim for a package deal involving the ACER as well as the EU's satellite navigation programme, Galileo, and the EU office to coordinate asylum issues.Such an approach could allow candidates to barter their way to success as the process is traditionally accompanied by fierce national lobbying and trade-offs.While Romania has never applied for an agency seat, Slovenia is now also bidding for the Galileo project. In the past, Ljubljana failed to get Frontex, the agency responsible for security of the union's external borders, as well as the European Institute for Gender Equality.Similarly, Slovakia is trying its luck for the third time, after losing the gender equality institute to Vilnius and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology to Budapest.

Growing influence

According to Mr Kaczynski, energy is now one of the EU's top five priorities and more EU governments are likely to stand in line to get an energy portfolio in the next European Commission.In principle, there is massive understanding that we are interdependent and energy is the topic that must be dealt with jointly, he says, describing the energy portfolio as crucial.Of the three bidders for the ACER's seat, Bratislava is also interested in having a Slovak be the energy commissioner.

Bilderberg boys are a bunch of grumpy old men but remain fiercely dedicated to usurping sovereignty in the United States and throughout the world. Patriots can celebrate their setbacks but never let up: Bilderberg still threatens the sovereignty of all nations while fighting for world government.Major goals remain exploiting the global recession and an imaginary swine flu pandemic to establish global departments of treasury and health under the United Nations. But at the May 14-17 meeting in Vouliagmeni, Greece, near Athens, Bilderberg took a keen interest in persuading the United States to surrender sovereignty to the International Criminal Court, or ICC.

Bilderberg is also setting up a summit in Israel June 8-11 so the world’s leading regulatory experts can address the current economic situation in one forum, said Zohar Goshen, chairman of a subgroup of the International Association of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Mary Shapiro, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, will represent this country.Bilderberg found President Obama a Willing Wilkie at its June, 2008 meeting in Chantilly, Va. near Washington. They were reassured when he chose their boy, Harold Koh, a strong advocate of the U.S. accepting the ICC, as the State Department’s top lawyer.In the Penn State Law Review, Koh wrote sneeringly of nationalists who oppose surrendering sovereignty to international institutions, including the ICC. He praised the transnationalist faction on the Supreme Court and the wisdom of the jurists for their rejection of the nationalist faction.Generally speaking, the transnationalists tend to emphasize the interdependence between the United States and the rest of the world, while the nationalists tend instead to focus more on preserving American autonomy, Koh wrote. The transnationalists believe in and promote the blending of international and domestic law, while nationalists continue to maintain a rigid separation of domestic from foreign law.The transnationalists view domestic courts as having a critical role to play in domesticating international law into U.S. law, while nationalists argue instead that only the political branches can internalize international law, Koh wrote.Transnationalists believe that U.S. courts could and should use their interpretive powers to promote the development of a global legal system, while the nationalists tend to claim that U.S. courts should limit their attention to the development of a national system.

Five Supreme Court justices have said, to Koh’s delight, that U.S. courts should take into consideration the rulings of foreign courts in deciding domestic cases. They are: John Paul Stevens, Anthony Kennedy, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer.In a Bilderberg warm up, the Washington-based American Society of International Law called on the U.S to embrace the ICC. These luminaries
included former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, former Rep. Mickey Edwards and a roster of educated fools.Carl Bildt, Sweden’s minister for foreign affairs, made a pitch for two other major Bilderberg goals: creating a global Department of Treasury and Department of Health, with all nations surrendering sovereignty over these issues to the UN. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is to become the Treasury Department and the World Health Organization the World Health Department. But Bildt seized on an old Bilderberg issue, global warming, to make the case for WHO. Bilderberg propaganda over a swine flu pandemic has fallen victim to facts: On average, 300,000 Americans develop flu each year and 30,000 die. Only a few have died or even been seriously afflicted by swine flu.The world economic meltdown is a once-in-a-generation crisis while global warming is a once-in-a-millennium challenge, Bildt told Bilderberg. Sources inside Bilderberg said Bildt’s speech mirrored an address he gave to the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington. Bildt called for world (UN) solutions to virtually all problems. He cited the European Union as model of integration, saying, the EU is emerging as a global actor. He advocates expanding NAFTA throughout the Western Hemisphere to create an American Union.The International Monetary Fund sent a report to Bilderberg advocating its rise to the role of World Treasury Department.Further actions by policymakers, particularly in the financial sector, are needed to restore market trust and confidence, said Marek Belka, director of the IMF’s European department and former prime minister of Poland.U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner enthusiastically endorsed the plan for a World Treasury Department, although he received no assurance that he would become its leader. Practically no one has been reporting on the 2009 meeting of the Bilderberg group in a fancy seaside resort near Athens. The Greek newspaper To Vima, however, published a list of the 150-odd participants at the conference. The Guardian has published some articles by Charlie Skelton, who was incessantly being harrassed by Greek police and even arrested for trying to do his job as a journalist. Nothing new here, since from the very beginning, the Bilderberg conferences have been shrouded in secrecy.Russian-born Daniel Estulin, the man who knows most about the Bilderbergers and who has published extensively about their wheelings and dealings, has declared that this year’s attendants discussed how to manage the world economic crisis they allegedly engineered themselves. Basically, details are unknown, although one may deduct some facts from the publication, by Wikileaks, of the reports of earlier Bilderberg conferences. I have no reason to disagree with Estulin, but I would like to suggest some points to take into consideration.The list of participants is a good starting point. Led by four representatives of European royalty, the list contains mostly the names of politicians, high civil servants, bankers and CEOs. Politicians are dependent on public favor, which today is largely manufactured by venal media. And as we all know, if there is anything politicians, especially modern ones, are lacking, it is a spinal column. The bankers are just that: bankers, managing other people’s money. The CEOs are lavishly-paid employees of corporations, taking decisions about other people’s investments. Mind you, none of these bankers and CEOs have adventurous minds. They are not entrepreneurs who have set up their own business, risked their own savings and turned te venture into a success, like, for instance, Richard Branson. These bankers and CEOs are mere bureaucrats. So are the high civil servants from various nations and the European Union. Needless to say, the high civil servants are bureaucrats, by nature. As for the occasional soldier (David Petraeus), or glorified thug (Richard Holbrooke), these are also people who must carry out orders. If their biographies show anything, it is precisely that they are very good at this.

In case you would be looking for innovative ideas, for ideas on how to cope with the ongoing crisis, who would you ask: a succesful businessman like Richard Branson or some incompetent CEO who was foolish enough to take his bank to the edge of the abyss by buying obscure financial products from failed US companies such as Lehman Brothers?
Thus, the overwhelming majority of those attending the recent Bilderberg conference are dependent people, men and women who made their careers by suppressing their own initiative and taking orders, always alert to any opportunity for advancement. In other words, most 2009 Bilderbergers, like most of their many predecessors, are people of limited imagination, with a limited capability of independent thought. For if they had any independent or original ideas in the past, these would certainly have interfered with their careers or they would by now be suffering from awful cancers and other nasty diseases. Apparently, however, all are in good health. Besides, a round table conference in a big room with well over a hundred participants, no matter how open and freely they may express themselves, is hardly conducive to the transmission of creative thoughts. As anybody knows who has been present at large meetings with more than a dozen people, many participants will be fighting against boredom, yawning, looking at the ceiling, doodling on a sheet of paper. On similar occasions, I have witnessed people dozing off, even snoring. Usually during conferences, the real business is done in the corridors, over coffee, or while strolling through the garden. Even then, shop talk is often squeezed between longer and more interesting discussions on second homes, vacations, the kids, the looks and legs of the secretaries, or the finer points of tax evasion. I am talking about scholarly conferences (just read David Lodge’s novels to get an idea). Why should it be different at a Bilderberg conference?

There was a significantly strong presence this year of Greeks, Turks and Spaniards. The Greek participation is expmained by the fact that the Bilderberg meeting took place in their country. Moreover, Greece is one of the countries where violent street demonsrations earlier this year have shaken the government and where the effects of the current crisis are being felt most acutely. But the Turks? They are the neighbors of the Greeks, but we may suspect there was a lot of talk of how to get them to join the European Union after all, overriding both official (French) and widespread popular opposition all over Europe. The Spanish presence, led by their Greek-born Queen, was also interesting. Coincidentally, Spain has been affected very badly by the economic crisis, with staggering unemployement rates, a collapse of the real estate market, and structural, widespread discontent among the young. For years now, young Spanish men and women have been unable to find jobs. Over the past years, Spain has had the highest unemployment rate among the young. It must have been interesting and disconcerting for the Bilderbergers, to hear about the Greek and Spanish experience of the effects of the crisis.The conference participants may have been doing a lot of talking, but we can be pretty sure imaginative or new ideas, fresh approaches, exciting concepts, daring proposals were at the very best few and far between. And even that is probaby a kind assessment. Of course, something new, fresh, exciting or daring may have been discussed, but then it will not have sprung from the minds of any of the participants, but rather picked up from one of their underlings at home.Some Bilderbergers (such as Roger Altman or Neelie Croes, the Dutch Eurocommissioner) are known to have been associated with white collar crime, others are just plain criminals, such as Holbrooke, who in the 1990s played a major role in the massacre of 6.000 Serb civilians. Nato scretary general Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is another criminal, who by officially supporting the US conquest and occupation of Iraq, is in part guilty of the murder of close to 1.5 million Iraqu civilians. No doubt quite a few others could be added to this list. With such criminals in their midst, the moral authority of the Bilderberg conference goers is quite limited, to say the least.

Essentially the majority of the Bilderberg group meeting at Vouliagmeni last week may be defined as mediocrities. Apparatchiks as they used to used to be called in the Soviet Union, well-paid salarymen as they say in Japan. Mind you, the real movers and shakers in the world were not present. Most, such as Obama, Medvedev, Soros, the Pope were doing their moving and shaking at home or elsewhere. Moreover, the Bilderberg conference was attended exclusively by men and women from Europe and the US. Okay, a few from Turkey as well, if you would consider it a European nation, which many people, including French President Sarkozy do not. There was no one from Russia, China, India, Japan or Brazil, to name just a few essential powers. This was not the G-20 conference at London. That was much more representative of real power in the world today.Of course, the Bilderbergers may BELIEVE they are powerful and influential. In fact, they are riding a huge monster that is growing stronger every day. A monster they may believe they can control, but all they can see is the back of the fearsome creature they are sitting on. If they would be standing were the rest of us are standing, namely on the ground, they would be able to see the full size of the monster. Its name is CRISIS, spelled in capitals, because it is an economic, a social, a cultural and a political crisis.Now, apart from the current crisis and its effects, what may have been the topics on the Bilderberg agenda? I suspect one of the main points of discussion has been the imminent threats to national security, public safety and governmental stability posed by the crisis. That is why US National Security adviser James Jones was there along with an NSA-boss (Alexander), former British spy chief Dearlove and US black leader Vernon Jordan (for Heaven’s sake let’s make sure the Blacks are on our side,must have been one of the main reasons for inviting him). There was also the Dutch minister of justice (Hirsch Ballin) and one Hans Vissers, whose professional identity may be that of a Dutch police chief. Another topic must have been the military disaster in Afghanistan, which explains the presence of both Holbrooke and Petraeus. Their accounts must have been depressing indeed. At any rate, the prevailing mood at the meeting has most likely been one of despair and puzzlement.

Clearly, the Bilderbergers are not superior minds, have no moral authority and are for the most part just willing executioners,taking their orders from higher up and for the rest, groping in the dark, like most people. Why then are they suspected of wielding a lot of influence? Part of the answer lies in the fact that the Bilderbergers obviously will not help to destroy the myth of their might. The more their meetings are kept secret, the tighter the security that surrounds them, the stronger the myth will be. Let us, for the sake of argument, assume that indeed the Bilderberg meetings set the political and economic agenda for the US and Europe. That would mean that those who ultimately wield the real power—presidents, prime ministers, cabinets, parliaments—are relying on a disparate group of mediocrities. This may indeed be the real situation, but it would only emphasize their own mediocrity and lack of ideas and imagination. Of course, this may actually be true, but in that case, a revolution making an end to the rule by halfwits and nincompoops may be a lot nearer than we think. Come to think of it, perhaps that is why there was such a notable presence of national security and intelligence officials at the Vouliagmeni meeting! At least, the Bilderbergers are intelligent enough to appreciate the seriousness and the looming threat of the current crisis. There is still hope!

New World Order Trying to Kill America’s Gun Culture: EPA Shutting Down Gun Range in Large Midwestern Town Jeffrey Grupp Infowars May 21, 2009

I live in a Midwestern state. Near me is a huge shooting range, which is going to be put out of business by the EPA. Just before the completion of this article, the owner, call him W, of this particular range has unfortunately demanded that I not use his name or specify which range I am discussing in this article. I think this is a mistake on his part, but I have to honor it. This issue of shutting down this range is so large, so interconnected to all the issues that the infowars.com/prisonplanet.com audience is concerned with, that I will go at length into all the issues in detail in this article. At first, you might think, ah, shutting down this range is just more of the same tricks by the New World Order.And that’s true, of course. But there is something much bigger, deeper to this that I think most people are missing: the New World Order is trying to kill gun culture, and this is more important than their trying to destroy the Second Amendment. So, before we get into this story of this particular gun range, let’s first discuss why this story is so important: indeed, a core issue. Amid all our discussion in the Patriot alternative media about the New World Order’s covert plans to remove the Second Amendment in America, we are perhaps not putting enough energy into what is conceivably an even deeper issue: the New World Order wants to destroy the ultra-powerful spirit of the American gun culture. Destroying the Second Amendment is actually not the most important issue in the New World Order attack against our inalienable right to self-protection. It is the second most important. Here’s why…

Creating so-called laws (i.e., supposed divine right orders) to ban guns in America will not remove our guns or self-protection abilities. Too many of us are stocked up, loaded up, and know how to make crossbows or 12 gauge shotguns from raw parts. So, if King Obama and the moneybags behind him attempt to ban our guns, it will essentially do nothing but make us more determined to protect ourselves, since we will have the means. So, we can expect that the New World Order knows this, of course, and they are thus going deeper into the issue, to more of the heart of the matter, to really, successfully disarm us. How do you do that? You don’t just destroy the Second Amendment, you destroy the popularity of the Second Amendment, you destroy the spirit of the Second Amendment. If Grandpa is not thinking about the Second Amendment in his sleep, so to speak (that’s the spirit I just referred to), then he will not be preoccupied with it, and if he’s not, he won’t teach his grandson how to, for example, make a shotgun from plywood and pile. That removes our self-protection faster than removing the laws will. That removes our means for self-protection. This is where the New World Order is really focusing their attack in their attack against our inalienable right to self-protection. But, unfortunately, most patriots in America think the fight is in Congress, with HR 1022, for example, and not in the deep psychological warfare going on against gun culture. This psych warfare is mostly invisible: we are not looking for it, we don’t expect it, and thus we don’t see it, even though it’s written on the wall.The spirit of gun culture will live on even if King Obama tries to obliterate the Second Amendment, as stated. So, what is really needed, from the New World Order’s perspective, is the destruction of gun culture. You know, this is so critical, it almost makes me think that all these redundant bills on Congress are just a distraction for the gun culture, getting us all riles up over them, while they are not even the issue (since they won’t destroy gun culture, as stated). It’s almost as if all these bills in Congress are meant to grab our attention, while the real war— the multi-fronted war on gun culture — goes on right under our noses, but where we are too distracted to see it! If we are so riled up about HR 1022, then who is paying attention to the EPA’s attack on shooting ranges? Answer: nobody! And HR 1022 sits there not fully implemented, while the EPA goes around utterly destroying shooting ranges (and the heart of American gun culture). Again, victory for the New World Order, simply because we are not using our huge brains we have been given! So, let’s talk about why American gun culture is so, so important. Already there is an overwhelmingly unanimous agreement by the denizens of gun culture that Obama is attempting to take-over and destroy Constitutionalism. Literally, every single time I am in any gun shop or range, even if it’s just a tiny tackle shop that only sells a few wimpy .22 Marlin rifles, I instantly find myself in a discussion with the owner of the shop, or, for example, with the guy sitting there having a cigarette talking to the owner and obviously a regular customer, and it’s like magic, we get into this same intellectual discussion about the current takeover of America. And wherever I go in gun culture, the people I meet are somewhat informed, too. I mean, if I go to church or the university, and start talking about Obama, I have to search far and wide for just one single person who even have just one tiny teeny complaint against the system or against King Obama, or who will have even just one small morsel of information, a single, real factual datum, about what is going on politically in the world (they are too busy debating global warming, gay marriage, sports, their self-help groups, or who knows what). But in gun culture, everyone is informed, at least, let’s say, 20 percent, so to speak (and that’s light years ahead of the aforementioned church and university people!). I think we can see why the EPA is not attacking churches and universities. This issue, I think, could not be clearer folks!

Even little informed members of gun culture, who, for example, vaccinate their children and still think 9/11 was done by cave people, will readily agree about, and know several key scary details about, the current financial takeover of We the People. This is the number one subject at shooting ranges and gun shops nationwide these days, from what I can tell; and it’s a very energetic, often cerebral discussion. Discussing AR-15s, the Constitution, ammo shortages, movies, Thomas Jefferson, and AK-47s seems to take a backseat to this topic day-in, day-out at all the ranges and shops I have been to in several states. Again, even those at the shooting ranges and gun shops who are relatively uninformed, and, for example, who voted for John McCain, believing that was different than voting for King Obama, enthusiastically take part in this unanimous agreement and worry that there is something really amiss like never before, that there is a banking takeover and a Sovietization of America being attempted by Obama and Big Money right now. So, gun culture is, I think, some sort of a revolutionary movement in the making, even if all its members don’t really know it or see it that way yet. There is, quite simply, no more intellectual, passionate, activist group in the United States (excluding much much smaller groups, like We Are Change). (Yes intellectual! I am a former college teacher for the past decade, and the level of intellectual discussion in the shooting ranges and gun shops dwarfs that of the academic institutions, since discussion in academic institutions usually just is over some specialized topic over-and-over [such as experiments on the last GMO soy bean], if even that brainy, but usually academic just take part in more of the same talk as the rest of culture does: about TV, fake churches, environmentalism, consumerism, the weather, worshiping Obama, etc.) So, think about all this: If you were the New World Order, would you just go after our guns, or would you also go after this ultra-powerful gun culture? Of course you’d go after both. But also ask yourself this: Which would you go after more fervently? The answer quickly pops in your head again: of course you’d go after the culture itself more-so than the guns. And this is precisely what is going on, and I fear that in all our discussion of King Obama’s decrees to remove our self-protection, we are missing perhaps a bigger issue: gun culture itself is under all-out attack! Now, let’s consider a crystal clear example: the range near my house which is being shut down right now by the EPA. Every Tuesday through Sunday, for a decade, people have congregated to a large gun range near my house. Again, when writing this article, the owner of this range prohibited me from disclosing which range this is, over his fear of the $1000 per day fines that the EPA is looming over their heads. (I would just like to say, for the record, that I think the owner is making a mistake in doing this.) This particular large range is a family business, run by an old patriot, call him W, and his son, call him P. The mom is typically there too; she’s a dispatcher for the Police Department. Oh, and their dog is also often there, too. This is the heart of the gun culture. But let’s discuss why these details are important (hint: real community is the enemy of the New World Order).

The range has a nice lobby in it where members and non-members alike talk and have a good time daily, in-between shooting sessions. Almost always, conversation at the range is vivid and lively, for hours on end, with many people involved, discussing the Constitution, the Bible, the Founders, socialism versus capitalism, the Federalist Papers, Obama’s banking takeover, talk radio, and, when I am there, infowars.com. But the discussion is, perhaps surprisingly, almost always intellectual discussion—surprisingly because this sort of intellection is vanishingly rare anywhere in America. As stated above, even in my ten years as a college philosophy teacher I did not encounter the other professors involved in such frequent high-level intellectualism—not even close! One is immediately struck when they enter this range how different this atmosphere is from really anywhere else in the United States (the same is true throughout gun culture from coast to coast, and amid Canada’s small gun culture). If you try to start up this sort of intellectual conversation with almost anyone, in any other part of culture outside of gun culture (such as at the average job, or in the churches or universities), it not only almost never reaches the level of intellection that the gun culture conversations do, but furthermore, it is usually a complete joke, quickly gravitating to merely repeating (parroting) what Larry King has recently said on TV, or whatever the Big Government propaganda was that Shawn Hannity happened to belch out on Faux News the night before. Unless you are entrenched in gun culture, you have no idea that this is what it is like, and you probably think it’s just a bunch of toothless grunting in-breeders, because you saw something like that in the movie Deliverance or some other Hollywood propaganda production. But for true gun culture, it’s really an intellectual community more than anything else, in many ways. This is the case everywhere in gun culture! And this is why it’s dangerous to the New World Order.Go to a gun shop, and everybody instantly has this invisible bond: we are all bound by the same values: Constitution, guns, pride, family (and very often, but not quite always, religion, too). And these invisible strings we have with one another are powerful; we can all feel them between each other. It’s like we all instantly know what the other is thinking about, we are all long lost friends, and we all want to talk about it. If you are not in gun culture, you don’t know what I am talking about. If you are, you do. Where else in America is there continually such a congregation of concerned, Constitutionalist Americans who are passionate, involved, intellectual, and, frankly, not zombified and prozaced-out in front of their televisions? I simply cannot think of any other place; nothing is even close. In fact, almost every other place, or any other group, in the United States, is, without exaggeration, zombified in the aforementioned way, and thus, gun culture really sticks out as being a pocket of patriotism and intellectualism.

This type of unification, pride, and bonding among people is the ultimate enemy of the New World Order. It is exactly what can bring them down. And, in fact, if the members of gun culture (which is tens of millions, and which most may not even know they form such a big nationwide group) were just a little more informed on a few things about the New World Order, they would bring down the New World Order with ease by morning, restoring 1776. This is why it’s an info war. And if this economic downturn and Sovietization keeps up at its current pace, many in the massive gun culture will perhaps start seeing just a little more clearly than they do now, and they will wake up a little bit more, just enough, and they will know just that little bit more they need to know to awaken them properly to what is at stake and to the danger they are in. We are close to that point now; perhaps halfway there, so to speak.So, let’s get to the heart of the issues by getting back to the aforementioned range that is being shut down near me here in the Midwest… Following what we have written above, this sort of place is the enemy of the Orwellian world government that is now forming, as stated. And, as we discussed, this New World Order, we can expect, will attack it with all its fury. And guess what? That’s precisely what’s happening to this range. This particular shooting range is going to be shut down by the EPA. Under what reason, you ask? Environmental code violations. The more technical name for this is communitarianism — a word all of you better get acclimated to real fast! (Hint, look up Niki Rapaana on the internet, and that will give you a good start.) In a nutshell, communitarianism is a philosophy that, unbeknownst to basically all of us (no kidding!), is being written into our city codes and laws. It is all about what is good for the group, and it is all about castigating the individual. This is why if you want to build an underground house or cabin in the woods so that you don’t have to pay for heat and air-conditioning, and because you want to have a hideaway or cabin that is inexpensive, hidden, and, well, quite quiet and cozy, you can’t do it, because you have to get permission from the city government and their certified experts to do this (it’s city government, but the whole operation comes from the New World Order, of course). And they will say, oh, no, for your safety, you can’t do that, thanks.Also, communitarian philosophy is why you have to pay for construction inspections, or even have them in the first place if you are building a house or building. As if we need that, and as if building were just falling down routinely before these city communists took over to help us learn how to build properly. Communitarianism is why your school is now all tied to environmentalism and why your children have to learn about gay marriage before they learn about Thomas Jefferson — because communitarianism is all about what is good for community, and oh, of course, the things that are good for community are not guns, religion, empirical science books, and smashing our televisions. No no! We are quietly told, in so many different ways, that what is good for the community is, for example, environmental protection, neighborhood watch, meth watch, spying on your neighbors to make sure they are not growing pot in their backyard garden, and so on. That’s why we have these neighborhood community meetings; not to discuss the Constitution (a person bringing that up at one of those meetings would sure get some head-turns), but to discuss the community (communitarian) priorities (i.e., New World Order philosophies). We go to these meetings just passively allowing the debate to be set before we get involved, rather than beforehand controlling what will be debated in the first place. I don’t have time to discuss it here, but this communitarian agenda has been in the planning since before many of you reading this were born. It’s all secret, and it’s all, um, for your safety, of course. Sadly, it’s all too distant from what most Americans can accept about reality, and so they will just not believe something like this is real; they have been conditioned to think at an ESPN-level of reality, unfortunately.

So, back to the gun range… Communitarianism is also, ultimately, why the range is going to be put out of business. In a New World Order community (i.e., a local communitarian setup), we have to watch out for what is good for the disarmed, uneducated, TV-watching herd—Constitutionalists don’t fit into the New World Order’s communitarian city-planning. They are not for that type of a community. So, what is good for this zombic herd, according to the gods of communitarianism? Well, what is good for the herd is a safe clean world (how many times have you heard something like that on TV?), and the shooting range near me of course must conform to this, so the story goes.So, what the EPA has done is told the range that they have to go out of business all summer (a prime business time), for at least five months, in order to put in a brand new, ultra-expensive ceiling ventilation system in (the range, of course, has taken out a massive loan for this, which they were approved for by less than a hair — actually, it’s still up in the air, no pun intended).

But here’s the issue: How can a shooting range,

• which is already paying mind-boggling taxes monthly
• which is already struggling already just to stay open due to all the government fees
• which is already struggling because fewer people are shooting because everyone is hoarding their ammo, and
• which is already struggling due to a huge loss of business due to the impending economic depression

and so forth—how are they to stay open and survive in such a scenario? Answer: of course they cannot! They know that, we (who are connected to the range) know that, but the EPA, well, they just seem not to know that, somehow; but they don’t really get into that issue too much. So, long story short: The EPA just found a clever way to put this range out of business. This accomplishes many New World Order goals, perhaps the highest goals the New World Order has: to destroy the gun culture, for reasons discussed above. Where else, now, will the gun owners congregate? Answer: nowhere.The EPA won’t attack the factories here in town that are dumping toxic waste into the river that flows through town. No way! They are too busy attack the range (and gun culture), which, if it really were a polluter, affects only a fraction of people compared to the river-polluting factory. The EPA won’t attack the ocean boats and submarines worldwide that use sonar, and which is responsible for killing whales by the beach-full. Nope. Have to focus on those scary guys at the shooting range. The EPA won’t attack the Chinese for all their mind-boggling pollution the produce as they make all the slave-produced goods for Wal Mart. The government won’t create forces to monitor the US-Mexico border. No way! Instead they create forces (environmental harassment forces) to monitor the gun owners (i.e., the Constitutionalists). It does not get any clearer than this folks. The government is huge, out of control, focused on one thing: coming after you, both non-communitarians and those who go along with communitarianism alike! The average TV-watching, hot-dog-eating American probably could never see that this is what is going on—that the EPA is a secret force being used for many freedom-taking operations, such as destroying gun culture. It’s too complex for them to piece together when they have to think about an episode of American Idol coming on soon. They will just believe that, oh, shutting down the Range is for the earth, because they have been conditioned to have that sort of a mantra repeating through their head all day every day due to how many times they’ve heard it on television. They probably also wouldn’t notice, if they could glance away from their telescreens long enough, that the EPA in my town is starkly ignoring all the atrocious (and I mean really atrocious!) factories in town that are polluting the rivers and air: they have HUGE smoke stacks all over town that everyone has to breath all day and night (and one of them is the company that makes Aspartame! Yeah, what’s coming out of that smoke stack is really healthy, I am sure). I am not kidding! Go to the university here on the edge of town, across the river, and all the way over there, on many days, you will smell the exhaust from the factories constantly while you walk through the beautiful campus. Ask any student; they will know what you are talking about. So, is this safe? Oh, of course,the EPA will tell us (by fiat), just like Aspartame is so safe and wonderful. It’s sort of funny, one of these massive polluting factories is literally right across the street from the range! Everyone complains about these factories all the time, a very visible issue. But is the EPA addressing this complaint of the people? Come on, what kind of a question is that? If the exhaust is so bad for us to breathe in the shooting range that is under attack, then why hasn’t it affected W and P (the owner and his son), who have literally been there at the range 50 hours per week breathing in all the air for a decade? Answer: because it’s not harmful! But hey, who is really asking that sort of a technical question, anyway, at the EPA. It’s funny: I don’t remember voting for the members of the EPA, or for what their agendas were to be, or for them to even come into existence in the first place. You know, how much of this big government do we vote in anyway. The answer to that is an easy one.

Few things are as tiresome as listening to people rant about their conspiracy theories. While there are, no doubt, tantalizing speculations to be made about the inside job that demolished the World Trade Center and the nefarious agenda of the global elite, movies about such things do well to involve James Bond and giant explosions. New World Order, an unrelentingly tedious documentary by Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel, follows a group of considerably less glamorous truth-seekers. The most prominent of the filmmakers’ subjects, the radio host Alex Jones, who is based in Austin, Tex., rails against the powers that be — all of them — in a manner that reinforces every cliché of the conspiracy theorist loon: paranoid, megalomaniacal, delusional, sweaty. The documentary’s most action-packed scene finds Mr. Jones throwing a major hissy fit when his hotel fire alarm goes off, thereby proving, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are trying to suppress his revelations. On the (somewhat) mellower side, Luke Rudowski, a 21-year-old New Yorker, spends all his free time distributing fliers and DVDs purporting to uncover the truth about 9/11. Seth Jackson, a relief worker in Louisiana, does his part by heckling Bill Clinton and other dark overlords. A retired police officer, Jack McLamb, meanwhile, has retreated to the safety of a separatist militia group.There’s a movie to be made about the psychology of such men, their personal lives and private obsessions. New World Order merely gawks at them.
