warning. Authorities urged people on affected coastlines to move to
higher ground.The U.S Geological Survey said the quake hit Indonesia's
Flores region with a depth of 10 kilometers at 5:58 a.m. Indonesia time.
Its epicentre was 68 kilometres north-northwest of the city of Ende in
East Nusa Tenggara province.The initial quake was followed by several
aftershocks. There were no immediate reports of casualties.Indonesia's
Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency issued a tsunami warning
for part of East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi and
Southeast Sulawesi provinces, and urged residents to stay away from
beaches and riverbanks.The agency located the shallow undersea quake
near Flores island.Residents along affected coastlines were advised to
move to higher ground as officials are closely monitoring coastal tide

early Saturday, killing at least 20 people, collapsing buildings and
homes as well as causing panic in a region prone to deadly quakes.
Authorities said six people were injured, and two others were missing
after a landslide triggered by the quake.Authorities issued a tsunami
warning and urged coastal residents to move to higher ground, but later
lifted the warning when Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and
Geophysics Agency said monitoring showed no significant sea-level
changes that would pose a threat to coastal communities.The US

said. He said that landslides in Ende regency triggered by the
earthquake also cut off the Trans-Flores highway, a roughly
700-kilometer (435-mile) paved mountain road spanning Flores Island,
from Labuan Bajo to Larantuka.Footage on local television showed
patients at several hospitals being evacuated from buildings as a
precaution following the quake. Hospital staff moved equipment outdoors,
including beds, IV stands and oxygen cylinders, and set up temporary
treatment areas to adapt to emergency conditions.The National Disaster
Management Agency deployed a helicopter to assist with logistics and
support emergency response operations, including possible evacuations if

western Colombia, collapsing hospitals, schools and other buildings and
leaving people trapped under the rubble.The worst-hit cities include
Pereira, Cali, Quibdó, Manizales and Armenia, all of which remain under
“red alert,” the nation’s highest-level disaster threat level, according
to Colombia’s nonprofit Association of Capital Cities, which provided
the death toll.Seven airports have suspended operations, and hospitals,
roads, transportation, aqueducts, energy and telecommunications have

inaugurated president, Abelardo De La Espriella, said in a national

ceremonial clothing belonging to an 18th-century count buried there,

against multiple fires Friday as a new wave of record-breaking heat
baked a swath of the continent, their task further complicated by

human-caused climate change, and are hitting countries more used to
long cold seasons and ill-equipped for this sort of heat, with limited
air conditioning.With France experiencing its driest year ever, a new
fire raced through woodlands overnight in the Landes region on the
southwest coast. The blaze forced more than 500 people to evacuate their
homes in the town of Luglon as hundreds of firefighters deployed to the
area, the regional administration said Friday.It’s one of several fires
scorching forests around France this week, including in normally cooler
and wetter regions in the north and Brittany. A historic fire devoured
forests near Bordeaux last month and pushed a quarter of a million
people from their homes.France also has shut down six nuclear reactors

of jellyfish washed up outside one power plant on the English Channel
coast, utility company EDF said. Large numbers of jellyfish are

wildfire erupted Friday near Summerland, a community of about 12,000 in
British Columbia’s Okanagan region. By Wednesday, it had grown to about
184 square kilometers (71 square miles) after destroying homes and
killing an 80-year-old woman.“There’s an important set of lessons for us
to take about how quickly this moved and that this may be our new
normal for fire speed,” Premier David Eby said. He said the blaze
outpaced wildfire modeling and left some residents with little time to

industry analysts are raising concerns the move could have negative
repercussions for Canada's digital sovereignty amid the country's
ongoing trade war with the U.S.Wide-reaching implications-Broadly
speaking, digital sovereignty refers to the power of a country, or
individual, to retain control over its own digital assets.In September,
AI Minister Evan Solomon said that Canada needs to create a sovereign
digital economy that is "free from coercion."Artificial Intelligence
Minister Evan Solomon says the Protecting Privacy and Consumer Data Act
will help keep Canadians safe in the digital age. 'I think it's a
common-sense approach to what Canadians and what average folks want from
their digital media,' Solomon said on Monday about the new bill. 'They

dozens of experts and academics penned an open letter urging Prime

Canadians' data could be available, not only to foreign governments,

updating language to establish privacy as a "fundamental right" and
replace parts of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic
Documents Act (PIPEDA), which sets out rules for how businesses,
including tech, airlines and banks, collect and use customers' data.The
bill also requires companies to conduct a "privacy impact assessment"
before transferring personal data outside of Canada.At the time,
government officials said the legislation would cover any company that
has a "substantial connection" to Canada.But Polsky said C-36, and the
Liberals' other attempts to update Canada's digital privacy laws, only
"dance around the issues.""They don't really speak to data being
retained in Canada as a matter of national security or as a matter of
data sovereignty," she said.Bill C-36 represents the Liberal
government's third attempt to update privacy regulations, following

sending your LinkedIn profile or a dancing monkey GIF to a phone just by
holding it? And what about turning on a coffee machine by pointing to
it? This is not the future anymore. Wannabe cyborgs with little RFID
chips under their skin are living with us: some fifty-thousand people
have implanted the tiny devices already under their skin to be able to
have simpler access to buildings or (other people’s) phones. Do you want

chips-Before you hit the order button on Dangerous Things website to
order some implants, there are several things to think through as an
RFID implant isn’t a temporary tattoo, which can be removed by taking
ten showers. That’s actually one of the most problematic parts of these
chips: who is going to implant it, how safe it is for your health, and
how do you remove it? Medical Concerns-A recent study sheds light on the
increasing prevalence and potential complications of RFID implants in
humans. It highlights that while these implants are becoming popular for
tasks like contactless payments, opening doors, and storing personal
information, there are significant safety concerns. The study points out
that most implants are currently performed by non-medical
professionals, raising the risk of infections and adverse tissue
reactions. It calls for more involvement from medical professionals,

the need for further research to better understand the long-term

procedure is easy, you don’t have any interference issues with MRI, or
get caught at the airport security gates, metal detectors or airport
scanners due to your chip. In addition, the implants are pretty durable –
you can easily fight supervillains all day long, the RFID chip will
most probably not break.Privacy and surveillance worries-Although RFID
chips are not powerful enough to be tracked – just as dogs cannot be
tracked when they wander off – or to connect to any satellite, some have
fears that such chips give corporations the possibility to have control
over them. What if they could track users in the future? Would you want
a chip in your hand if it could tell for how long it took you to have a
shower or to go to work? Since most chips are offered through big
companies, it’s just a matter of time until this happens.Are the chip
implants hackable? Some biohackers say that it’s very easy to hack an
implant, so you’d rather not hide your life secrets in the implant’s
memory, but so far, we haven’t heard of major RFID chip hacks. On the
other hand, we know of at least one individual who used the chip
embedded into his hand to hack into other people’s phones, so that might
be a bigger concern. However, another idea that already surfaced among
concerned potential users, namely that your hands might be cut off if

after I had seen the vision and heard what the angels told me.Suddenly I
heard earthquakes all over Europe."Countries that have had no
earthquakes shall be shaken," said the angel.And suddenly, in my spirit,
I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris crumbling and falling down. A great
part of Germany destroyed. The great city of London - destruction
everywhere. I saw floods all over Scandinavia. I looked to the south and
saw Spain and Portugal passing through hunger and great
destruction.Many will die from hunger all over Spain and Portugal. I was
disturbed by all this news, and I said:" Lord, what about your
children?"The angel said: "I shall prepare them. They shall be looking
for the appearing of the Lord. Many will cry to me in those days and I
will save them. I shall perform mighty miracles for them and show them

The Moon’s shadow will move from west to east and the moment of maximum
darkness will vary slightly depending on the location. In general terms,
the most eagerly awaited moment will come at around 20:30, although in
some cities it will occur a few minutes earlier and in others a little
later.What is more, not all of Spain will see a total eclipse. The path
of totality will cross parts of the north and east of the peninsula
before reaching the Balearic Islands. Outside that path, the eclipse
will be partial, although in many places the Sun will be almost
