THE MISSING PLANE MH370 SITUATION AT 12:03AM THU APR 24,2014

By Rolf on Monday, Apr 21st 2014 17:10Z-The Aviation Herald

So, finally then, the time table for the SQ68 scenario

17:21z MH370 disappears
17:26z SQ68 overflies KUL hdg 315 GS 490kt
17:36z UAE343 departs from KUL hdg 307
18:00z SQ68 reaches the flight path of westbound MH370 56 miles south of GIVAL and east of VAMPI
18:00z MH370 reaches VAMPI/GIVAL airspace and hears about SQ68 on the ATC. They also hear that UAE343 is still far away and turn north to catch up with SQ68
18:06z SQ68 overflies GIVAL at FL300 hdg 312 to IGREX GS 490kt
18:15z MH370 has descended to FL295 and has caught up with SQ68

If we assume that MH370 could fly 10 knots faster than SQ68, this translates to 15 mph. If they were able to catch up with SQ68 in 15 minutes, the distance at 18:00z was just 3 or 4 miles ahead of MH370. This conincides with SQ68 position. They crossed GIVAL at 18:06z at 490kt = 563 mph. 6 minutes before, at 18:00z, they were 56 miles south of GIVAL and pretty much straight east of VAMPI at the same time, when MH370 also reached the VAMPI/GIVAL airspace.

Australia transport bureau says beach debris not from MH370-APR 23,14-YahooNews

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Debris picked up on a beach in Western Australia this week is unlikely to have come from the Malaysian Airlines jet that vanished nearly seven weeks ago, Australia's transport bureau said on Thursday. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has assessed the material that washed up on the coast 10 km (six miles) east of the town of Augusta, near the southwestern tip of Australia, the bureau's spokesman said."It's considered highly unlikely to be from MH370," spokesman Tony Simes said.ATSB commissioner Martin Dolan earlier told Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio that the bureau had examined detailed photographs of the debris and was satisfied it was not a lead in the hunt for the plane." We're not seeing anything in this that would lead us to believe that it is from a Boeing aircraft," he told ABC Radio.Authorities have given no details on the material, which was the first discovery of suspected debris in weeks and the first since the detection of what were believed to be signals from the plane's black box flight recorder on April 4.Seabed scans of a 10 km zone off the west coast of Australia have failed to turn up any wreckage, but Malaysia and Australia have vowed to plough on with the search for the plane that went missing on March 8 with 239 people on board. The U.S. navy drone that has been scouring the seabed is due to end its first full mission in the southern Indian Ocean within days.Malaysian acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the search authorities would need to "regroup and restrategize" if nothing was found in the current search zone, but said the search would "always continue"."I can confirm in fact we are increasing the assets that are available for deep-sea search," he told a news conference in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, adding that the government was seeking help from state oil company Petronas, which has expertise in deep-sea exploration.(Reporting by Sonali Paul; Editing by Chris Reese and Richard Pullin)

Search continues for Malaysian flight MH370
Media Release-24 April 2014—am-JACC

Up to 11 military aircraft and 11 ships are planned to assist in today's search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.Today the Australian Maritime Safety Authority has planned a visual search area totaling approximately 49,567 square kilometres. The centre of the search area lies approximately 1584 kilometres north west of Perth.Prior to the commencement of today's air search operations, an assessment of current weather conditions will be made as ex-Tropical Cyclone Jack moves south. The weather forecast for today is for heavy rain and low cloud, with south easterly winds up to 35 knots, sea swells of three to four metres and visibility of one kilometre.Bluefin-21 AUV is currently completing mission 12 in the underwater search area. Bluefin-21 has now completed more than 90 per cent of the focused underwater search area. No contacts of interest have been found to date. The focused underwater search area is defined as a circle of 10km radius around the second Towed Pinger Locator detection which occurred on 8 April. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has advised that after examining detailed photographs of material washed ashore 10 kilometres east of Augusta, it is satisfied it is not a lead in relation to the search for missing flight MH370.Any further information will be made available if, and when, it becomes available.

On Apr 23rd 2014 the JACC reported that "Western Australia Police have attended a report of material washed ashore 10 kilometres east of Augusta and have secured the material." The ATSB is examining the material if there is any relevance to flight MH-370, photos have been taken and sent to Malaysia. On Apr 23rd 2014 the ATSB described the material as a sheet of metal with rivets, the material appears interesting enough to take a closer look. Malaysia's Transportation Minister commented he had not yet seen those photographs. On Apr 23rd 2014 Malaysia's Minister of Transport stated, that a new investigation body is being formed to lead the investigation, the International Investigation Team. Malaysia's Cabinet has approved the formation of that new body: "The main purpose of the International Investigation Team is to evaluate, investigate and determine the actual cause of the incident so similar ncidents could be avoided in the future. I would also like to note that the investigation will not include criminal aspects which are under the purview of the Royal Malaysian Police." The investigation will continue to follow the requirements of the Civil Aviation Regulation 1966, the standards set under ICAO Annex 13 - Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation - and the Chicago Convention. The Minister concluded: "Indeed, it is imperative for the government to form an independent team of investigators which is not only competent and transparent but also highly credible. As I’ve consistently said since the beginning, we have nothing to hide."

According to The Aviation Herald's radar data the aircraft was last regularly seen at 17:22Z (01:22L) at position N6.9 E103.6 about half way between Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) at FL350 over the Gulf of Thailand about 260nm northnortheast of Kuala Lumpur and 90nm northeast of Kota Bharu 40 minutes into the flight, followed by anomalies in the radar data of the aircraft over the next minute (the anomalies may be related to the aircraft but could also be caused by the aircraft leaving the range of the receiver).

Australia says search for Malaysian jet likely to use more powerful sonar to delve deeper
Rod McGuirk-CANBERRA, Australia — The Associated Press- Wednesday, Apr. 23 2014, 5:25 AM EDT

Australia’s prime minister said Wednesday that failure to find any clue in the most likely crash site of the lost Malaysia Airlines jet would not spell the end of the search, as officials planned soon to bring in more powerful sonar equipment that can delve deeper beneath the Indian Ocean. The search co-ordinationcentre said Wednesday a robotic submarine, the U.S. Navy’s Bluefin 21, had scanned more than 80 per cent of the 310-square-kilometre (120-square-mile) seabed search zone off the Australian west coast, creating a three-dimensional sonar map of the ocean floor. Nothing of interest had been found. The 4.5-kilometre (2.8-mile) deep search area is a circle 20 kilometres (12 miles) wide around an area where sonar equipment picked up a signal on April 8 consistent with a plane’s black boxes. But the batteries powering those signals are now dead.Defence Minister David Johnston said Australia was consulting with Malaysia, China and the United States on the next phase of the search for the plane that disappeared March 8, which is likely to be announced next week.Johnston said more powerful towed side-scan commercial sonar equipment would probably be deployed, similar to the remote-controlled subs that found RMS Titanic 3,800 metres (12,500 feet) under the Atlantic Ocean in 1985 and the Australian WWII wreck HMAS Sydney in the Indian Ocean off the Australian coast, north of the current search area, in 2008.“The next phase, I think, is that we step up with potentially a more powerful, more capable side-scan sonar to do deeper water,” Johnston told The Associated Press. While the Bluefin had less than one-fifth of the seabed search area to complete, Johnston estimated that task would take another two weeks.Prime Minister Tony Abbott said the airliner’s probable impact zone was 700 kilometres (430 miles) long and 80 kilometres (50 miles) wide. A new search strategy would be adopted if nothing was found in the current seabed search zone.“If at the end of that period we find nothing, we are not going to abandon the search, we may well rethink the search, but we will not rest until we have done everything we can to solve this mystery,” Abbott told reporters.“We owe it to the families of the 239 people on board, we owe it to the hundreds of millions — indeed billions — of people who travel by air to try to get to the bottom of this. The only way we can get to the bottom of this is to keep searching the probable impact zone until we find something or until we have searched it as thoroughly as human ingenuity allows at this time,” he said. The focus of the next search phase will be decided by continuing analysis of information including flight data and sound detections of the suspected beacons, Johnston said.“A lot of this seabed has not even been hydrographically surveyed before — some of it has — but we’re flying blind,” he said, adding that the seabed in the vicinity of the search was up to 7 kilometres (4 miles) deep. The search centre said an air search involving 10 planes was suspended for a second day because of heavy seas and poor visibility. But 12 ships would join Wednesday’s search of an expanse covering 38,000 square kilometres (14,500 square miles), centred 1,600 kilometres (1,000 miles) northwest of the city of Perth.Radar and satellite data show the jet carrying 239 passengers and crew veered far off course on March 8 for unknown reasons during its flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing. Analysis indicates it would have run out of fuel in the remote section of ocean where the search has been focused. Not one piece of debris has been found since the massive multinational hunt began.

Australia, Malaysia vow to keep searching to solve plane mystery
ReutersBy Byron Kaye | Reuters – 3 hours ago-APR 23,14-YahooNews

PERTH, Australia (Reuters) - Australia and Malaysia vowed on Wednesday to keep searching for a missing Malaysian plane despite no sign of wreckage after almost seven weeks, and as bad weather again grounded aircraft and an undersea drone neared the end of its first full mission. But Australian authorities said unidentified material washed up on the coast of Western Australia was being investigated for possible links to missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370.Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott had earlier acknowledged that the search strategy could change if seabed scans taken by the U.S. Navy drone failed to turn up a trace of the plane, which vanished on March 8 with 239 people on board."We may well re-think the search but we will not rest until we have done everything we can to solve this mystery," he said."The only way we can get to the bottom of this is to keep searching the probable impact zone until we find something or until we have searched it as thoroughly as human ingenuity allows at this time."The Bluefin-21 drone, a key component in the search after the detection of audio signals or "pings" believed to be from the plane's black box flight recorder, is due to end its first full mission in the southern Indian Ocean within days. The finding of unspecified material on the southern tip of Western Australia was the first report of suspected debris in weeks and the first since the detection of what were believed to be signals on April 4.Australian police have secured the material, found 10 km (six miles) east of the town of Augusta, the Joint Agency Coordination Centre (JACC) overseeing the search said in a statement. No description of the material was provided and Malaysian officials said they had not verified the report. The Australian and Malaysian governments are under growing pressure to show what lengths they are prepared to go to in order to give closure to the grieving families of those on board flight MH370.Malaysian acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the search authorities would need to "regroup and restrategise" if nothing was found in the current search zone, but said the search would "always continue"."I can confirm in fact we are increasing the assets that are available for deep-sea search," he told a news conference in Kuala Lumpur, adding that the government was seeking help from state oil company Petronas, which has expertise in deep-sea exploration.Nearly two months after the jetliner vanished, Hishammuddin announced that Malaysia's cabinet had approved the formation of an independent international investigation team to probe the causes of the baffling incident.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

The experts appointed to the panel would be named next week, and the investigation could begin a week later, Malaysian officials said."It's imperative for the government to form an independent team of investigators which is not only competent, transparent but also highly credible," Hishammuddin said. "As I've said since the beginning, we have nothing to hide."Malaysia's Department of Civil Aviation will take the lead in the investigation to be carried out under United Nations rules, sources have told Reuters. But its relative lack of experience means it is likely to rely on foreign agencies, with some experts predicting a key role for Australia, which is coordinating search efforts.Malaysian police are conducting their own criminal investigation into why the Boeing jet veered thousands of miles off course on a routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. In a sign of the families' growing desperation for answers, a group purporting to be relatives of the missing flight's passengers published a letter to Hishammuddin, urging the government to investigate old media reports that the plane landed in Kandahar, Afghanistan."It is high time that the government should start thinking out of the box by exploring and re-examining all leads, new and old," said the letter, published on Facebook on Wednesday.Authorities suspended the air search for the second day in a row on Wednesday due to heavy rain, low cloud and big seas."Current weather conditions are resulting in heavy seas and poor visibility and are making air search activities ineffective and potentially hazardous," the JACC said, adding 12 ships would continue to help with the operation. The Bluefin-21 was scouring a 10 sq km (4 sq mi) stretch of seabed some 2,000 km (1,200 miles) northwest of the Australian city of Perth. Search officials have said that once its current mission is finished, they will redeploy the submarine to other areas yet to be determined.(Additional reporting Matt Siegel in Sydney, Al-Zaquan Amer Hamzah and Yantoultra Ngui in Kuala Lumpur; Editing by Stuart Grudgings and Ron Popeski)

Hamas, Abbas's PLO announce reconciliation agreement
By Nidal al-Mughrabi and Noah Browning -APR 23,14-YahooNews

GAZA/RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - The Gaza-based Islamist group Hamas and President Mahmoud Abbas's Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) announced a unity pact on Wednesday, deepening a crisis in U.S.-brokered peace talks with Israel. The move, coming after a long line of failed efforts to reconcile after seven years of internal bickering, envisions a unity government within five weeks and national elections six months later."This is the good news we tell our people: the era of division is over," Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said to loud applause at a Palestinian news conference also attended by representatives of the PLO.Israel said after the announcement that Abbas had chosen Hamas over peace, and canceled a session of U.S.-brokered talks with the Palestinians that had been scheduled for Wednesday night in Jerusalem.Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that Abbas "chose Hamas and not peace. Whoever chooses Hamas does not want peace."Israeli Channel 2 TV said Netanyahu would convene an emergency session of his security cabinet on Thursday to discuss his response.Washington said it was disappointed by the deal which State Department spokesman Jen Psaki said "could seriously complicate our efforts - not just our efforts but the efforts of the parties to extend their negotiations."Along with the United States and the European Union, Israel views Hamas as a terrorist organization and says Abbas' efforts to unify with the group show he is not serious about extending the troubled negotiations. The talks, aimed at ending its decades-old conflict with the Palestinians and establishing a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza, are scheduled to end on April 29.Palestinians have long hoped for a healing of the political rift between the PLO and militant Hamas, which won a Palestinian election in 2006 and seized control of the Gaza Strip from forces loyal to Western-backed Abbas in 2007.But reconciliation dreams have been dashed repeatedly in the past. Since 2011, Hamas and Fatah have failed to implement an Egyptian-brokered unity deal because of disputes over power-sharing and the handling of the conflict with Israel.Hamas has battled Israel, which it refuses to recognize, while Abbas's Fatah party has remained in control of the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank and pursued years of fruitless talks with Israel.Abbas said the pact would not interfere with peace efforts."There's no contradiction at all between unity and talks, and we're committed to establishing a just peace based on a two-state solution," he said in a statement following the deal.

ARAB APPROVAL

Egypt's foreign minister Nabil Fahmy welcomed the deal, saying in a statement he hoped it would "support the Palestinian position in the peace talks". Qatari Foreign Minister Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah congratulated the Hamas prime minister. The approval of the two influential Arab states, which have been at loggerheads over the role of the Hamas-linked Muslim Brotherhood, implied the agreement had backing from the region as a whole. It could give Abbas a measure of sovereignty in Gaza and help Hamas, hemmed in by an Israeli-Egyptian blockade, become less isolated. But Gaza analyst Talal Okal said previous unity agreements signed with great fanfare had amounted to nothing, and the future of this deal may depend on whether the sides agree to extend U.S.-brokered peace talks."Will it materialize or not? Let's wait for April 29th. What will happen if negotiations are extended?" Okal said.Minutes after the announcement, Israel launched an air strike on northern Gaza, wounding 12 people, including several small children, local medical officials said. The Israeli military said it had carried out a "counter-terrorism operation in the northern Gaza Strip," and that it had not identified a hit, suggesting it may have missed its target.U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry revived the peace talks in July after a nearly three-year hiatus. The negotiations stalled this month when Israel refused to carry out the last of four waves of prisoner releases unless it received assurances the Palestinian leadership would continue the talks beyond the end of April. After Israel failed to free the prisoners, Abbas responded by signing 15 international treaties, including the Geneva Conventions on the conduct of war and occupations. Israel condemned the move as a unilateral step toward statehood.Talks were last held on Tuesday, with no reported progress.(Additional reporting by Jeffrey Heller in Jerusalem and Ali Sawafta in Ramallah; Writing by Noah Browning; Editing by Sonya Hepinstall)

04/23/2014 - Ratzinger could be at Francis’ side for the proclamation of two Pope saints
Benedict XVI with Francis-The vice president of Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi: “I can just imagine their excitement, but until Sunday, all it is, is a hope.” Speaking about Wojtyla, Ratzinger says: “I couldn’t imitate him”-Domenico Agasso jr

Rome-Sunday 27 April, St. Peter’s Square: this is the date and place for an event “never seen before in the whole of history: the [simultaneous] presence of two living Pope and two Pope saints” in the Vatican. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI could be present together with Pope Francis at the ceremony for the canonization of Popes John Paul II and John XXIII. This is according to Mgr. Liberio Andreatta, vice president of Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi (ORP), the pilgrimage office of the Vicariate of Rome. “I can just imagine the excitement of Pope Francis and the Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI” he highlighted, prudently adding, however, that: “until Sunday, mine remains just a hope.”In an interview published in the book “Accanto a Giovanni Paolo II” (At John Paul II’s side) the Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI says: “When I think of John Paul II, I am full of gratitude. I could not have imitated him and I was not meant to but I have tried to continue his legacy and mission as best I could.”“I am certain that his goodness still accompanies me today and that his blessing protects me,” Benedict XVI said, admitting that he considered “John Paul II to be a saint” “ever since the years [he] worked with him.”Ratzinger said he became increasingly convinced of this, adding that in order to understand Wojtyla’s sainthood, we naturally have to bear on mind his intense relationship with God, the fact he was immersed in his communion with the Lord.” “This is where his joy came from,” he assured “in the midst of all the great hardships he had to endure and the courage with which he performed his duty at what was a very difficult time.” “John Paul II didn’t ask for applause and never looked around, concerned about how his decisions would be taken. He acted out of faith and on the basis of his convictions and was ready to take a few blows.”He was tireless in his efforts, not just during big trips that were jam packed with meetings from start to finish, but also in his daily life, from the morning mass to late into the night.”“When he came on his first visit to Germany in 1980, I saw a concrete example of this,” the then archbishop of Munich said during the interview. “I decided that during his stay in Munich, he needed to take a longer break at midday. During this interval, he called me to his room. I found him reciting the Breviary and said to him: ‘Holy Father, you should rest.’ To which he replied to me: ‘I can do that in Heaven’.” “Only someone who urgently wanted to fulfil his mission could have responded that way,” the Pope Emeritus commented. Ratzinger’s words aimed to “pay tribute to [Wojtyla’s] extraordinary kindness and understanding,” revealing that John Paul II “often had good enough reasons to criticize me or remove me from my position as Prefect and yet he supported me, showing me unbelievable loyalty and kindness.”During the interview, Joseph Ratzinger did not hesitate to refer to his predecessor John Paul II as a “friend”, a Pope he himself elevated to the glory of the altars on 1 May 2011.

04/23/2014 - THE VATICAN INSIDER -Pope’s telephone call re-opens debate over communion for remarried divorcees-Pope Francis during an Audience in St. Peter's Square-The news from Argentina spread fast but should be handled with great care because one wrong title could have been disastrous for media around the world-Andrés Beltramo Álvarez

vatican city-“There are priests who are more papist than the Pope.” A set phrase like any other. Only this time, the lips that uttered it were those of Francis himself, during a conversation with fellow Argentinean, Jakelina Lisbona. A woman who married a divorced man. Bergoglio advised her to take Communion regardless of her personal situation. This little detail ended up as a news story that made it half way around the world.“Pope assures there’s no harm in a divorced person taking Communion”. This is the title that has been causing a buzz in the media in the last few hours. But it is a misinterpretation because the person the Pope spoke with was not divorced as was originally believed.“It’s not me who’s divorced,” one of the female protagonists in this story said in an interview with Buenos Aires radio station La Red Am910. Lisbona said it was her husband, Julio Zabeta, who had divorced, but she never married in the Church. The two have been united in civil matrimony for the past nineteen years and have two daughters.“We used to go to mass, not every day. Here at home, we pray every evening, turning to God always; when someone is in a difficult situation God is the first one they turn to. I wrote the letter spontaneously. I wrote to him because he’s Argentinean, he listens to people and I believe in miracles,” she said. The woman also said she tried taking Communion again last year but not only did the local priest apparently say he could not give her Communion, he even said she could not access the sacrament of Confession either. “[They told me that] when I went home, I resumed a life of sin,” she added. The woman finally decided to write to Pope Francis to explain her situation to him. The letter was sent last September.“The phone rang and my husband answered. It was Fr. Bergoglio calling. The father asked to speak to me and my husband asked: ‘who’s calling?’, to which the voice replied ‘Fr. Bergoglio’. I asked him if it was really him, the Pope, and he said it was and that he was calling in response to my letter dated September,” he explained.Lisbona did not want to give too many details during the radio interview but she revealed the piece of advice Francis apparently gave her and that was that there was no problem in her approaching the sacrament of Communion. “This received too much public attention. He told me to go and take Communion in a different parish, but now I won’t be able to go anywhere.”She also revealed an interesting fact: the priest who apparently refused to administer Communion to her, no longer exercises his ministry. He asked to be dispensed from his obligations as priest so he could get married.According to the woman, Pope Francis also said he is “dealing with the issue” of remarried divorcees; a clear reference to the next two assemblies on the pastoral challenges of the family which the Synod of Bishops is due to hold in 2014 and 2015. “He said my letter was useful in helping him address this issue,” she added.“Then he told me there are some priests who are more papist that the Pope. He was completely normal with me on the phone and I tried to speak to him with the utmost respect. Now I am overwhelmed by the enormous effect this story has had and I feel moved by the fact that I spoke to Francis. I told him I would write to him again when I take Communion again,” she said. The Holy See did not wish to comment on whether Bergoglio really did make the call to Jakelina Lisbona or not. But it has not denied the news either. As far as the Vatican newsroom is concerned, the Pope’s communication was private and so there is no comment to be made.

EZEKIEL 38:1-12
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog,(RULER) the land of Magog,(RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW)and Tubal,(TOBOLSK) and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog,(LEADER OF RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW) and Tubal:TOBOLSK)
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,(GOD FORCES THE RUSSIA-MUSLIMS TO MARCH) and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia,(IRAN,IRAQ) Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer,(GERMANY) and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (TURKEY) of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.(AFRICAN MUSLIMS,SUDAN,TUNESIA ETC)
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.(RUSSIA-EGYPT AND MUSLIMS)
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages;(ISRAEL) I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil,(OIL IS IN SPOIL) and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

EZEKIEL 39:1-8,11-21
1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog,(LEADER OF RUSSIA) and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech (MOSCOW) and Tubal: (TUBOLSK)
2 And I will turn thee back,(RUSSIA-ARAB MUSLIM ISRAEL HATERS) and leave but the sixth part of thee,(5/6TH OR 300 MILLION DEAD RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIMS I BELIEVE) and will cause thee to come up from the north parts,(RUSSIA) and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,( ARABS) and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog,(NUCLEAR ATOMIC BOMB) and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog (RUSSIA/ARAB/MUSLIMS) a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers (EAST OF THE DEAD SEA IN JORDAN VALLEY) on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog (RUSSIAN) and all his multitude:(ARAB/MUSLIM HORDE) and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.(BURIEL SITE OF THE 300 MILLION,RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIMS)
12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.(OF ISRAEL)
13 Yea, all the people of the land (OF ISRAEL) shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I (GOD-JESUS) shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment,(NUCLEAR ATOMIC BOMB EXPERTS) passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it,(WON'T TOUCH IT) till the buriers have buried it (PROPERLY) in the valley of Hamongog.(RUSSIA/ARAB/MUSLIMS NEW BURIEL SITE)(EAST OF THE DEAD SEA IN THE JORDAN VALLEY)
16 And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.(OF THE ISRAEL-GOD HATERS)
17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl,(500 MILLION MIGRATING BIRDS THREW ISRAEL EVERY SPRING,FALL) and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.(OF THE RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIM ARMIES)
18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And ye (MIGRATING BIRDS IN ISRAEL) shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.(RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIM ISRAEL HATERS)
20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
21 And I (GOD-JESUS) will set my glory among the heathen,(WORLD NATIONS) and all the heathen (WORLD NATIONS) shall see my judgment that I have executed,(AGAINST ISRAELS ENEMIES) and my (GODS) hand that I have laid upon them.(ISRAELS HATER ENEMIES)

4  I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
5  Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred,(AGAINST ISRAEL) and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
6  Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
11  Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
12  And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

Russia says it will respond if Ukraine interests attacked
By Pavel Polityuk and Alastair Macdonald - APR 23,14-YahooNews

KIEV (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the United States of being behind the political upheaval in Ukraine and said Moscow would respond if its interests came under attack.
Lavrov's comments came a day after U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was in the Ukrainian capital with promises of support for the pro-Western government, and a warning to Russia not to interfere in Ukraine. The crisis in Ukraine, now in its fourth month, has dragged Russia's relations with the West to their lowest since the Cold War. In the east, pro-Russian armed separatists have seized about a dozen public buildings and are defying Kiev's authority.A further escalation could lead to damaging economic sanctions, and raises the risk of a disruption to the Russian gas supplies on which Europe depends.NATO says Russia has built up a force of about 40,000 troop in its border with Ukraine. Moscow says some are stationed there permanently, while others have been deployed as a precaution to protect Russia from the instability in Ukraine. In Moscow, Lavrov said Moscow would respond if its interests, or the interests of Russian citizens, were attacked."Russian citizens being attacked is an attack against the Russian Federation," he said according to excerpts of an interview with the Russia Today news channel."There is no reason not to believe that the Americans are running the show," RT quoted him as saying.Washington said that suggestion was "ludicrous", while NATO's deputy secretary general, Alexander Vershbow, said Russia must de-escalate the situation and avoid "inflammatory rhetoric and misrepresentations of the situation inside Ukraine".Russia justified its intervention in Crimea earlier this year by saying it had to defend Russians living there. In eastern Ukraine some people hold Russian passports.Ukraine called on Moscow to pull troops back from the border, saying it feared pro-Russian separatists could use their proximity to provoke a Russian invasion.

ARMED GROUPS

Lavrov's ministry, in a separate statement, accused the United States and the interim government in Kiev of a "distorted interpretation" of an international accord, signed in Geneva last week, under which illegal armed groups in Ukraine are to disarm and give up buildings they have occupied.Russia said that applies not only to the pro-Russian separatists in the east, but also to groups in Kiev whose protests helped bring Ukraine's new government to power.Earlier, Ukraine's government relaunched a security operation to crack down on the pro-Russian armed groups after an Easter pause and said it had the backing of the United States. But it was unclear what steps Kiev could take to restore its authority in the mainly Russian-speaking east, without wrecking the Geneva deal."The security forces are working on the liquidation of illegal armed groups," in the east of Ukraine, First Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Yarema told reporters."The corresponding activities will be carried out in the near future, and you will see the results."The Interior Ministry said it had flushed armed separatists out of a town which they had controlled in eastern Ukraine in an "anti-terrorism" operation. It said the operation took place on the outskirts of the town of Sviatogorsk and that no one was injured. There had been no previous reports of gunmen in the town, which lies just outside the stronghold of pro-Russian militants in Slaviansk.Ukraine's SBU state security service warned that it would attack militants who held out. It said the Geneva accord required all illegal militias to lay down their arms:"If not, the law enforcement agencies will use all their forces, means and capabilities to put an end to criminal activities and restore law and order and communal security."Kiev's decision to resume its security operation in the east was prompted in part by the discovery of two bodies in a river in eastern Ukraine. One body was that of Volodymyr Rybak, a member of the same party as Ukraine's acting president.

AID PACKAGE

The Ukrainian government, which took power after Moscow-backed President Viktor Yanukovich fled the capital in a row over whether to strengthen ties with Europe, appeared emboldened by Biden's visit on Tuesday. He brought a package of aid and urged Russia to curb the separatist militias in the east."We have obtained the support of the United States, that they will not leave us alone with an aggressor. We hope that in the event of Russian aggression, this help will be more substantive," Yarema said. The United States and NATO have made clear they will not intervene militarily in Ukraine. But the Pentagon said it was sending about 600 soldiers to Poland and the three Baltic states for infantry exercises, to reassure NATO allies. Russian gas giant Gazprom has said it will turn off supplies to Ukraine next month unless Kiev pays its outstanding debts. That would have a knock-on effect on deliveries to Europe, because much of the gas shipped westwards has to pass through Ukrainian territory. The European Commission said it would meet Slovakian and Ukrainian ministers on Thursday to discuss the possibility of pumping gas back to Kiev. Another meeting between the Commission, Ukraine and Russia is due on Monday on Moscow.

UNDER PRESSURE

The crisis in Ukraine began when Yanukovich, under pressure from Moscow, pulled out of a planned cooperation agreement with the EU. Pro-Western protesters took to the streets and Yanukovich fled after bloody clashes. As a caretaker leadership of pro-Western protest leaders took over the government in Kiev, the Kremlin sent its forces into Ukraine's Crimea Peninsula, and shortly after annexed the region. Moscow said it acted to protect local people who were being persecuted by Kiev's new rulers, while the West called it an illegal land grab.Mediators from the Organisation of Security and Cooperation in Europe, tasked with helping the sides implement the accord, were in eastern Ukraine trying to encourage illegal groups to disarm. There was no sign yet they were backing down.In areas under the separatists' control, there was growing evidence of arbitrary rule by self-appointed local officials, backed up by heavily armed militias, and of violence being meted out against opponents.A video released on a local news site, gorlovka.ua, purported to show Rybak, the councilor whose body was found in a river, being confronted by an angry crowd outside the town hall in Horlivka, where he was a councilor.Rybak can be seen being manhandled by several men, among them a masked man in camouflage, while other people hurl abuse. After several minutes, Rybak appears able to walk away. The Interior Ministry said he was seen being bundled into a car by masked men in camouflage later that day. His body, and that of a second man, was found on Saturday in a river near Slaviansk.Ukraine's SBU security service issued a statement accusing a rogue SBU officer and an officer in Russia's GRU military intelligence of involvement in Rybak's murder. In nearby Slaviansk, pro-Russian militia were holding three journalists, including a U.S. citizen, Simon Ostrovsky, from the online news site Vice News. The United States said the detentions amounted to kidnappings which violated the Geneva agreement.(Additional reporting by Natalia Zinets and Richard Balmforth in Kiev and Nigel Stephenson and Ludmila Danilova in Moscow; Writing by Christian Lowe; Editing by Anna Willard and Giles Elgood)

UN seeks probe of alleged chlorine gas in Syria
By EDITH M. LEDERER - APR 23,14-YahooNews

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The U.N. Security Council called for an investigation Wednesday into reports of alleged chlorine gas use in some Syrian towns, causing deaths and injuries.Nigeria's U.N. Ambassador U. Joy Ogwu, the current council president, said the allegations were raised during a closed-door council meeting following a briefing Wednesday by Sigrid Kaag, who heads the mission charged with destroying Syria's chemical weapons."Council members expressed grave concern about alleged reports of the use of chlorine gas in some towns which left some people dead and injured and called for an investigation of these incidents," Ogwu said.Ogwu said council members called for an investigation but did not discuss who should carry it out.Syria's U.N. Ambassador Bashar Ja'afari said his government categorically denied the use of chlorine gas.Ja'afari further disputed chlorine gas could be categorized as a chemical weapon saying, "it is a mundane substance used for bleaching clothes in the laundry or disinfecting swimming pools."He said the allegations were aimed at overshadowing "the successful preparations for the presidential elections in Syria" which are scheduled for June 3. While President Bashar Assad has not announced that he will run, he is widely expected to be a candidate. In two letters to the president of the Security Council, dated April 11 and April 16, the opposition Syrian National Coalition's special representative to the U.N. accused the Syrian regime of using chemical agents in two separate attacks in recent days.Najib Ghadbian said Syrian forces used barrel bombs "loaded with chemical and toxic gases" on the opposition-held town of Kafr Zita on April 11, with a majority of the 200 victims civilians. In his other letter, Ghadbian said "regime forces were reported to have deployed chemical weapons in Harasta, a suburb of Damascus" on March 27.According to diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity because the council meeting was closed, U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power said the United States is trying to verify reports of a helicopter dropping chlorine.Britain's U.N. Ambassador Mark Lyall Grant said Britain is "deeply disturbed by the increasing reports of new use of chemical weapons by the regime."Australia's U.N. Ambassador Gary Quinlan said if the use of chlorine gas is determined to be "part of the military strategy" then additional work will be needed to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons.___Associated Press Writer Cara Anna contributed to this report from the United Nations.

Exclusive: Russia, China block Central African Republic blacklist at U.N.
By Louis Charbonneau and Michelle Nichols - APR 23,14-YahooNews

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Russia and China have blocked a proposal by the United States and France to impose U.N. sanctions on Central African Republic's former President Francois Bozize and two other people linked to the conflict there, diplomats told Reuters on Wednesday. The proposal to sanction Bozize, in particular, was due to his "engaging in or providing support for acts that undermine the peace, stability or security of CAR," according to an eight-page letter to the U.N. Security Council's sanctions committee on Central African Republic, which was obtained by Reuters. The sanctioning of Bozize, who was ousted by predominantly Muslim Seleka rebels in March 2013, and two other individuals was to have taken effect on Tuesday, but first Russia and then China raised last-minute objections, diplomats said.It was the first attempt to blacklist anyone linked to the conflict since a U.N. sanctions regime was set up in December."The Russians and Chinese have a placed a hold on the proposed designations," a diplomat on the 15-member Security Council told Reuters on condition of anonymity. "We don't know whether it's dead or if their concerns can be dealt with."If agreement is not reached to lift a hold, it can leave proposed sanctions in limbo indefinitely. The Security Council sanctions committees work on the basis of unanimity.France had originally wanted to sanction more individuals, but settled on three names for a joint U.S.-French proposal that Washington's rigorous vetting process could accept, envoys said.Russia's U.N. mission spokesman declined to comment.A spokesman for Beijing's mission in New York said in an email: "We would reaffirm that it is China's principled stance to be opposed to resorting to sanctions. Sanctions are not conducive to the proper settlement of problems."A Western diplomat, however, said he was optimistic that Russia and China would ultimately be persuaded to back the designations as they have in the cases of Iran and North Korea.Russia told the sanctions committee in a written explanation of its objections that "the listing of Bozize may lead to negative consequences, which would hardly contribute to the main goal of reaching settlement in the Central African Republic - inter-religious reconciliation.""It remains to be answered why France and the United States, while proposing to list Francois Bozize, who was unconstitutionally removed from power, overlooked Michel Djotodia, the former transitional president and Seleka leader, who masterminded the forcible takeover of power in March 2013," said the letter, which was read to Reuters by a third diplomat.Diplomats said China simply needed more time to consider the proposal.

ENVOYS SEE NO RETALIATION FOR UKRAINE

Inter-communal violence has gripped Central African Republic since late 2012 when a battle for power degenerated into fighting between Muslims and Christians that has since forced about 1 million people from their homes.Almost 200,000 people have fled the impoverished landlocked country since December with a further 160,000 expected to leave this year. The United Nations has warned that the situation could spiral into genocide.Virtually all Muslims have fled the capital of Bangui since the Seleka, who seized power in March 2013, were forced to step aside in January. The U.N. has since reported a "cleansing" of Muslims from the country's west. The diplomats interviewed for this article said they did not think Russia was blocking the proposal in retaliation for U.S. and European support for the Kiev government in Ukraine or for the Western sanctions imposed on Russians linked to Moscow's annexation last month of the Ukrainian region of Crimea."We're disappointed, but hopefully we can convince them to withdraw their holds," a Security Council diplomat said. The move by Russia and China comes as the European Union has found it increasingly difficult to justify its own blacklistings in European courts. Iran has successfully mounted legal challenges in several cases there. The French-U.S. proposal calls for global travel bans and asset freezes on two other individuals in addition to Bozize - an "anti-balaka" Christian militia leader and one of the original Seleka leaders. It accuses all three men of encouraging or helping organize atrocities. That proposal says Bozize has been financing and supporting militiamen attempting to destabilize the situation in CAR and bring him back to power. It says he encouraged a December 5 attack on Bangui by anti-balaka forces that led to increasing violence that has claimed over 700 lives."Forces loyal to Bozize have become involved in reprisal attacks against CAR's Muslim population," the proposal says. "Bozize called on his militia to pursue the atrocities against the current regime and the Islamists."The Security Council earlier this month authorized a 12,000-strong U.N. peacekeeping mission to be deployed in September, a sign of its recognition that 6,000 peacekeepers from the African peacekeeping force (MISCA) and France's 2,000-strong Sangaris force had failed to stamp their authority on the country.(Editing by G Crosse and Jan Paschal)

Satellites show North Korea nuclear test unlikely: think tank
APR 23,14-YahooNews

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea is unlikely to be ready to stage a nuclear test timed to coincide with U.S. President Barack Obama's visit to Asia, a respected think tank said on Wednesday based on its assessment of satellite imagery.Comments by South Korea's foreign ministry that the North could be moving towards what would be its fourth nuclear test prompted the U.S. State Department to urge Pyongyang to "refrain from actions that threaten regional peace".North Korea continually works on improving testing at its Punggye-ri site. Satellite imagery analyzed by 38North, which is part of Johns Hopkins University, said that while there had been a pickup in activity, there were few signs of an imminent test."Recent operations at Punggye-ri have not reached the high level of intensity - in terms of vehicle, personnel and equipment movement - that occurred in the weeks prior to past detonations," it said."Moreover, other possible indicators present before the North Korean nuclear tests in 2009 and 2013, such as communications vans and a satellite dish intended to transmit pre-test data, have not been spotted."Work at the site is seasonal and often picks up in the Korean spring. Some earlier satellite images had suggested the North was digging multiple tunnels, which could possibly indicate that it was planning more than one nuclear detonation.38North acknowledges that the commercial satellite imagery it uses may present an incomplete picture of the highly secretive state. The comments by the South Koreans have been repeated frequently in the past and there was little new in their assessment this week that the North could be ready to launch a new test at short notice. North Korea has been heavily sanctioned for its nuclear and long-range rocket programs but has pressed ahead with both. Military experts say the North would lose any conventional war with South Korea and the United States and is seeking to develop nuclear weapons as a deterrent. It has also used the nuclear program to attempt to wring concessions and aid from the United States. Washington has said that it would be open to talks if North Korea abandons its nuclear program.North Korea describes its nuclear weapons as a "treasured sword" that it will never abandon.(Reporting by David Chance; Editing by Paul Tait)

THE MISSING PLANE MH370 SITUATION AT 12:03AM WED APR 23,2014

WELL FINALLY OFFICIALS ARE GONNA LOOK ON LAND.THEY DON'T THINK THE PLANE IS HIDDEN.BUT CRASHED ON LAND.WELL I THINK THEY WERE KIDNAPPED ON INDONESIA - NOT CRASHED LIKE THESE OFFICIALS OF THE INVESTIGATION BELIEVE.BUT AT LEAST THERE FINALLY GONNA LOOK ON LAND.

THE MISSING PLANE MH370 SITUATION AT 11:03AM WED APR 23,2014
WELL IS IT NOT INTERESTING JUST AS WE GOT THIS STORY ABOUT OFFICIALS LOOKING ON LAND TODAY.WE SUDDENLY HAVE AN ITEM OF INTEREST SHOWING UP AT AUSTRALIAS COAST.THIS ITEM IS PLEXIGLASS AND METAL WITH LOTS OF RIVOTS.AND ITS BEEN AT LEAST 3 HOURS SINCE I HEARD THIS REPORT ON TV.AND JUST LIKE MAGIC.WE ARE NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM MALAYSIA OR AUSTRALIA.

AND ALSO THE MALAYSIAN INVESTIGATERS REFUSE TO GIVE THE FAMILIES A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION REPORT.BY 30 DAYS.THE FACTS ARE SUPPOSE TO BE WRITTEN OUT AND GIVEN TO THE FAMILIES AND MEDIA.SO WE KNOW THE FACTS.THESE ARE JUST SUPPOSE TO BE THE TRUE FACTS.SO WHAT ON EARTH IS MALAYSIA COVERING UP THAT WHAT FACTS-NOT THEORIES THEY DO NOT WANT THE FAMILIES RO READ.WELL I CAN GUESS WHAT FACTS THEY DON'T WANT REVEALED.THE FACTS THAT WILL PROOVE THE PLANE LANDED IN INDONESIA AND MALAYSIA IS COVERING UP THE TRUE FACTS.

AND ALSO MALAYSIA SAYS THEIR SETTING UP AN INTERNATIONAL TEAM TO LOOK INTO THE DISAPPEARENCE OF MH370-TO KEEP IT TRANSPARENT.IF THEY WANT TRANSPERENCY.GET THE FACTS TO THE FAMILIES AT LEAST.SO THEY CAN FIGURE OUT THE COVERUP BY MALAYSIA AND IRAN AND WHOEVER IS INVOLVED IN THE KIDNAPPING OF THE FREESCALE WORKERS AND CITIZENS FROM AROUND THE WORLD ON THE PLANE.

NOW I JUST HEARD IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS TILL THE DEBRIS IS DETERMINED FROM MH370 OR NOT.THE DISTRACTION JUST CONTINUES.

Suspension of air search today due to weather conditions-Media Release-23 April 2014-jacc
Planned air search activities have been suspended for today due to poor weather conditions in the search area.Three aircraft had already departed for today's search area prior to the suspension taking effect. They have been recalled.Current weather conditions are resulting in heavy seas and poor visibility and are making air search activities ineffective and potentially hazardous. The 12 ships involved in today's search will continue with their planned activities.

Search continues for Malaysian flight MH370-Media Release-23 April 2014—am-jacc
Up to 10 military aircraft and 12 ships will assist in today's search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.Today the Australian Maritime Safety Authority has planned a visual search area totaling approximately 37,948 square kilometres. The centre of the search area lies approximately 1584 kilometres north west of Perth.Bluefin-21 AUV is currently completing mission ten in the underwater search area. Bluefin-21 has now completed more than 80 per cent of the focused underwater search area. No contacts of interest have been found to date. The focused underwater search area is defined as a circle of 10km radius around the second Towed Pinger Locator detection which occurred on 8 April. The weather forecast for today is for isolated showers increasing to heavy rain, widespread low cloud, with south easterly winds, sea swells up to 2.5 metres and visibility of one kilometere. Prevailing weather conditions may affect today's air search.

Will the agony ever end for MH370 families? Now search teams think they may be looking in the wrong place for debris amid fresh rumour it may have LANDED.-Sources with the search team say the aircraft may have landed somewhere, rather than crashed into the Indian Ocean as previously believed-If no debris is found in the next few days the team may shift search focus-Fits with alleged sightings of MH370 at the time of disappearance-By Richard Shears-Published: 05:43 GMT, 22 April 2014 | Updated: 17:10 GMT, 22 April 2014-MAILONLINE

The fruitless search for the missing Malaysian Airlines jet might have to start all over again from scratch if no clues to its fate are found in coming days, it was claimed today. The international team searching the Indian Ocean for the Boeing 777 are now considering the seemingly impossible scenario of the aircraft having 'landed' somewhere, instead of crashing in the southern Indian Ocean.'We may have to regroup soon to look into this possibility if no positive results come back in the next few days,' sources within the International Investigation Team were quoted as telling the New Straits Times today.Looking in the wrong place? Sources from the investigation team have told the New Straits Times that if they do not find debris in the ocean soon they may have to search elsewhere.Looking in the wrong place? Sources from the investigation team have told the New Straits Times that if they do not find debris in the ocean soon they may have to search elsewhere. While the sources have not suggested which country the aircraft might have landed - or crashed - in, the possibility that an entirely new search in a different area is in line with suggestions by the Mail weeks ago that alleged sightings of a low-flying aircraft could have located it in a different place than the ocean.'The thought of it landing somewhere else is not impossible, as we have not found a single debris that could be linked to MH370,' sources were quoted as telling the paper.Sabotage probe after ANOTHER Malaysian Airlines flight is forced to make emergency landing after landing gear malfunctions.'However, the possibility of a specific country hiding the plane when more than 20 nations are searching for it, seems absurd,' said the sources. But they admitted that it was difficult to determine if the plane had really ended in the Indian Ocean, despite calculations seeming to point to that direction. The Mail reported early in the search that fishermen and villagers living in north east Malaysia had filed official statements with police claiming to have seen - or heard - a low-flying aircraft at the time when MH370 lost all contact with ground control.

THE 45 DAY RULE

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has now been missing for 46 days - an important milestone as it allowed U.S. lawyers to pursue Boeing in U.S. courts.A 45-day rule, enforced by the National Transportation Safety Board, means that families can now file suits in U.S. courts against Boeing, an American manufacturer.'We don't feel we have a whole lot of other choices because we're certainly not getting any answers without (legal action),' Sarah Bajc told CNN. Ms Bajc, whose partner Philip Wood was on the flight, said she hoped that pressure in the courts might lead to the Malaysian government releasing important data. One key problem however could bt the lack of any plane.'If we don't have the "black box" with all the critical information on it, or we don't have any part of the wreckage, it would be very hard to maintain a claim against Boeing in any court in the United States,' Daniel Rose, an aviation attorney from Kreindler & Kreindler, told CNN.Their descriptions of a 'very loud engine' and headlights like those switched on by an aircraft about to land at night suggested that the aircraft was flying to the west, across jungle, very fast, at a low altitude. The sources told the government-controlled paper that it was difficult to determine if the plane had really ended in the Indian Ocean, although calculations pointed to that direction. The Malaysian-led investigation team, along with experts from Inmarsat and the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch, had to rely on an Inmarsat communications satellite, which did not provide any definite details, including the aircraft's direction, altitude and speed. One of the sources told the New Straits Times: 'A communications satellite is meant for communication...the name is self explanatory.'The reason investigators were forced to adopt a new algorithm to calculate the last known location of MH370 was because there was no global positioning system following the aircraft as the transponder went off 45 minutes into the flight.'The source added that the international team was looking at adding more ships and aircraft to the existing search area in the Indian Ocean - as well as widening the area because there were fears that searchers had been 'looking for the plane in the wrong place'.'We can't focus on one place too long as the ocean is very big, although the search team has been following the leads received and analysed.'It is by luck if we find the wreckage using the Bluefin-21 (the US-owned underwater search vehicle).' There is no physical evidence and we are totally depending on scientific calculations since day one, including the pings.'With the search now into its 45th day, Malaysian authorities are hoping more countries will come forward to share their crucial satellite and radar data.Suggesting that national security of various countries was involved, the source added: 'We have mainly been provided with selective data.'The source said that because the information potentially involved the national security of the country from which it was requested, only partial raw data had been provided, making it difficult for Malaysian authorities to get the full picture.'The data involved would be official information, so the (foreign) country cannot simply give it to us on paper or in soft copy - they will select only the ones that can be revealed.'The Malaysians had asked the US government to view data collected by its secret base, Pine Gap, in the Australian outback. But the request had been denied, sources said, after the US had said that no contact had been made with MH370.'We can't be forcing them to show us the data, as they had already said there was nothing,' one source said.

Submarine drone search for Malaysian plane to continue
By Byron Kaye 4 hours ago-APR 22,14-YahooNews

PERTH, Australia (Reuters) - A U.S. submarine drone will keep scouring the Indian Ocean floor for traces of a missing Malaysian jetliner after it finishes its current targeted search, Australian authorities told Reuters as a tropical cyclone suspended the air search.Authorities are under growing pressure to decide their next course of action as the Bluefin-21 drone nears the end of its first sweep of remote seabed which authorities believe is the most likely resting place of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 which vanished on March 8 with 239 people on board. The Bluefin-21 is expected to finish its targeted search of a 10 square kms (6.2 square mile) stretch of ocean floor, where a signal suspected to be from the plane's black box was detected, come Wednesday. No wreckage has yet been found."Bluefin-21 has now completed more than 80 percent of the focused underwater search area and further missions are planned," the Perth based Joint Agency Coordination Centre told Reuters in an email."The search will continue. We are currently consulting very closely with our international partners on the best way to effect this for the future."As the Bluefin embarked on its 10th trip to depths of more than 4.5 kms (2.8 miles), some 2,000 kms (1,200 miles) northwest of the Australian city of Perth, a tropical cyclone heading south over the Indian Ocean suspended the air search."It has been determined that the current weather conditions are resulting in heavy seas and poor visibility, and would make any air search activities ineffective and potentially hazardous," the JACC said. The ships involved in the day's search about 1,600 kms (990 miles) northwest of the Australian city of Perth would continue with their planned activities, the center added. The search coordinator, retired Australian Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, said on April 14 that the air and surface component of the operation would end about a week ago.But daily sorties have continued unabated in what is shaping to be the most expensive search in aviation history, involving some two dozen nations."There will be no change to our mission of one nine-hour flight per day," U.S. 7th Fleet public affairs officer Commander William J. Marks told Reuters on Tuesday.Meanwhile, a statement attributed to the families of passengers on board the missing flight accused the Malaysian government of giving information about the investigation to the media before them and demanded "regular pre-payments" of compensation before the investigation was complete. Many family members have been critical of the Malaysian government's handling of the so far fruitless search."We  don't expect that they find all of the plane, or all of the bodies, or even that they know everything about how this surreal situation happened, but we do expect at least a tiny bit of concrete evidence," said the statement, published on the families' Facebook page on Tuesday.Until conclusive proof confirms the plane's fate, the Malaysian government has "an obligation to make regular pre-payments to the families in need and they have an obligation to exert themselves beyond repeated attempts to force a closure of the issue".(Editing by Michael Perry)

VOICE OF RUSSIA-MAR 31,14
According to one of the latest, unlike what Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak backed by his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott is claiming, the plane did not crash into the southern Indian Ocean but was captured.MH370 could have been kidnapped to get to the technical brain-trust on board - 20 Freescale Semiconductor employees travelling to China. Freescale attracted attention because it is a Texas-based technology firm that develops components for hi-tech weapons systems and aircraft navigation among other things.Interestingly, that leading innovative company has been oddly unwilling to provide information on the missing people. Only the nationalities of the employees were made public: 12 of them were from Malaysia and eight from China. However, Freescale has persistently declined to release their identities. "Out of respect for the families' privacy during this difficult time, we will not be releasing the names of the employees who were on board the flight at this time," Freescale spokeswoman Jacey Zuniga said.Nevertheless, Mitch Haws, Freescale's vice president, described them as "people with a lot of experience and technical background," adding that "they were very important." According to Reuters, the vanished employees were engineers or specialists involved in projects to streamline and cut costs at key manufacturing facilities in China and Malaysia.

MAR 8,14 USA TODAY
Freescale Semiconductor is a technology company focused on what he calls " solutions in processing", and works with a variety of markets such as automotive and consumer electronics, to address issues of technology using microprocessors and sensors.Malaysia sent nine ( 2 MILITARY PLANES AT LEAST) planes and 15 ships to search waters between Malaysia and Vietnam. The Philippines dispatched three Navy ships and a surveillance plane. China sent two ships. (AND THE SAME MORNING SAT MAR 8,14 IN CANADA AND SUN MAR 9,14 IN MALAYSIA CHINA HAD 2 BOMBERS IN THE DISPUTED AREAS WITH JAPAN AROUND 11AM.AND THE MH370 WAS IN THE AIR TILL 6:30AM AT LEAST).I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE WITH 11 PLANES AND CHINAS 2 BOMBERS IN THE AIR LOOKING FOR THE PLANE THEY NEVER SPOTTED IT.AND AT LEAST 2 OF THE PLANES WERE IN THE STRAIT OF MAALACA LOOKING AND NEVER FOUND IT.WELL IF IT WAS IN INDONESIA LANDED AND THE 2ND PLANE SENT TO THE INDIAN OCEAN.THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I CAN BELIEVE WHY 9 MALAYSIAN PLANES -15 SHIPS AND 2 CHINESE WAR PLANES COULD NOT FIND THE PLANE RIGHT OFF.AND THERE WERE OTHER COUNTRIES THAT SENT PLANES OUT ALSO.I THINK THAILAND AND VIET NAM.BUT NOTHING FROM INDONESIA.THIS TELLS ME THE PLANE WAS LANDED IN INDONESIA AND THEY DID'NT WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SEARCH.THEY JUST WANTED TO BE HUSH HUSH ABOUT THE KIDNAPPED PLANE LANDING IN INDONESIA.(MY COMMENTS)

Tesla delivers first China cars, plans expansion-By JOE McDONALD 44 minutes ago-APR 22,14-YahooNews

BEIJING (AP) — Tesla Motors Inc. delivered its first eight electric sedans to customers in China on Tuesday and CEO Elon Musk said the company will build a nationwide network of charging stations and service centers as fast as it can.Tesla probably will invest several hundred million dollars in charging infrastructure in China, Musk told reporters. He said it will open several hundred service centers."My instructions to the team are to spend money as fast as they can spend it without wasting it," he said. The Palo Alto, California, company previously announced a $121,000 sticker price for its Model S in China. It said import taxes and shipping account for the difference with its U.S. price tag of $81,000.Customers received the first Model S sedans at a brief ceremony at Tesla's office in a Beijing industrial park, also the site of its first Chinese charging station."I'm incredibly appreciative of customers like you for taking a chance on a new product from a new company," Musk told them. "Without customers like you, we would have no chance."Chinese leaders want to develop an electric car industry and called in 2009 for annual sales of 500,000 electric cars by 2015 but have scaled back those plans. Industry growth has been slow partly due to rules that limit market access unless foreign manufacturers share technology with Chinese partners that might become rivals.Tesla hopes to partner with China's state-owned power monopolies, State Grid and Southern Grid, to operate charging stations, but no "serious discussions" have begun, Musk said. He said the car can be charged from a wall socket but the charging stations speed up the process. The stations will have solar panels, but Musk said that was meant to show vehicles can run without power generated from coal rather than to make them independent of utility companies. He said charging stations will be built both in cities and between them to facilitate long-distance travel.Musk said previously Tesla might sell 5,000 cars this year in China but emphasized Tuesday that was "just a guess.""I do think that's probably a good number. Maybe it will be higher," he said. "I don't honestly know. Thus far the response has been very positive."Musk also previously said Tesla might try to manufacture cars in China in as little as three to four years. He said that might take longer but the company still hopes to produce vehicles where they are sold.Foreign manufacturers that want to produce electric cars in China are subject to import taxes unless they give ownership of key technology to a Chinese partner. Producers such as General Motors Co. and Nissan Motor Co. have chosen instead to import electric and hybrid vehicles and pay duties that boost their price and limit sales. Some Chinese customers expressed frustration after Tesla delayed deliveries by several months. Musk said the company wanted to avoid a repeat of trouble it had in Europe when it rolled out vehicles too quickly. He said deliveries were postponed while the company made sure all customers had access to charging facilities."We intentionally held back on the debut to the Chinese market until we were confident of that," he said. Referring to customers, he said, "I met with them earlier today and personally apologized."Musk said Tesla still is deciding where in the United States to build what it says could be the biggest factory to produce lithium-ion batteries. The company is looking at four states — Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas — and is likely to break ground in more than one before making a final decision, Musk said. He said the company wants to make sure construction stays on schedule and keeps up with demand from Tesla's California auto assembly line."We are going to proceed with at least two locations in parallel, just in case one of them encounters some issues after breaking ground," Musk said. He said Panasonic was likely to be Tesla's partner in battery production.Tesla has no plans for additional modifications to strengthen the Model S undercarriage to protect against road debris after announcing in March it would add a titanium shield, said a company spokesman, Simon Sproule. Tesla announced the modification after two cars were destroyed in the United States in fires blamed on road debris that punctured an aluminum shield and their batteries.

Cyclone curtails aerial search for MH370-APR 22,14-YahooNews

Perth (Australia) (AFP) - The aerial search for missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 was suspended Tuesday due to a tropical cyclone, but not before several aircraft had departed on the mission, Australian officials said.Up to 10 military aircraft had been scheduled to fly over the Indian Ocean in hopes of spotting clues as to the fate of the Boeing 777, which vanished on March 8 carrying 239 people."Planned air search activities have been suspended for today due to poor weather conditions in the search area as a result of Tropical Cyclone Jack," Australia's Joint Agency Coordination Centre said, adding that 10 ships in the search zone would continue their work."It has been determined that the current weather conditions are resulting in heavy seas and poor visibility, and would make any air search activities ineffective and potentially hazardous."JACC later advised that prior to the decision to suspend search activities, four military aircraft had left the Pearce air base north of Perth, bound for the 49,491 square kilometre (19,108 square mile) visual search zone in the remote Indian Ocean.A fifth plane helping coordinate the search also left from the Learmonth base on Australia's western coast."These aircraft will continue with their missions, however, individual aircraft captains will assess the conditions once on station and use their discretion as to whether they continue their planned search activities or return to base."Australia is leading the hunt for MH370, which disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing and is believed to have crashed into the Indian Ocean after veering sharply from its route for no apparent reason. No debris has yet been found from the plane and authorities say their best lead has been signals picked up by a black box locator earlier this month, which have since fallen silent.Australia's Ocean Shield ship has deployed an underwater autonomous vehicle (UAV) to scour the seabed at a depth of some 4,500 metres (15,000 feet) in the vicinity of these signals, hoping to find wreckage of the missing plane. But Prime Minister Tony Abbott suggested last week that the submersible Bluefin-21 would only be deployed for about a week, and the sonar scanning device has already covered two-thirds of the search zone without result."Bluefin-21 AUV has completed the ninth mission. No contacts of interest have been found," JACC said late Tuesday."Bluefin-21 is currently undertaking mission ten in the underwater search area."Australia's Bureau of Meteorology said severe Tropical Cyclone Jack was about 700 kilometres west-southwest of the Cocos Islands and moving south-southeast early Tuesday. While it posed no threat to the Cocos Islands or Western Australia, the likelihood of the system remaining a tropical cyclone in the region was high on Tuesday.
