VATICAN LETS MULIMS WORK ON CHURCH

KING JESUS IS COMING FOR US ANY TIME NOW. THE RAPTURE. BE PREPARED TO GO.

WELL DON'T SAY THE BIBLE DID'NT WARN US THIS POPE WILL BE THE DEFECTOR FROM THE FAITH.THE FALSE POPE.LETTING ARAB-MUSLIMS WORK ON A CHURCH. REDICULAS.THE WAY THEY RIOT-BURN CHURCHES.

FALSE POPE FROM THE VATICAN

REVELATION 13:11-13
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;(FALSE VATICAN POPE) and he had two horns like a lamb,(JESUS IS THE LAMB OF GOD) and he spake as a dragon.(HES SATANICALLY INSPIRED,HES A CHRISTIAN DEFECTOR FROM THE FAITH)
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him,(WORLD DICTATOR) and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.(THE WORLD DICTATOR CREATES A FALSE RESURRECTION AND IS CROWNED LEADER OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER).
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

REVELATION 17:1-5,9,15-18
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,(VATICAN IN POLITICS) and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman (FALSE CHURCH) was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour,(VATICAN COLOURS)(ANOTHER REASON WE KNOW THE FALSE POPE COMES FROM THE VATICAN) and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.(THE VATICAN IS BUILT ON 7 HILLS OR MOUNTAINS)
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.(VATICAN-CATHOLICS ALL AROUND THE WORLD OVER 1 BILLION)
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast,(WORLD DICTATOR) these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

A group of Muslims restores the Basilica of Gethsemane

Franciscans have decided to invest in training six young Palestinians to work on the project

Andrea Avveduto jerusalem It took 18 months work and €600,000 to restore the Basilica of Gethsemane back to its original splendour. Restoration work on the precious mosaics has finished and the 5000 pilgrims that visit the Basilica of Agony in Jerusalem every year will once more be able to linger amid the Church’s ancient aisles, their heads tilted backwards, immersed in a nocturnal atmosphere, intensified by the dark blue starry sky depicted on the mosaics which is framed by olive branches.A number of countries contributed to the building of the great Basilica with the 12 domes, designed by the architect Antonio Barluzzi, hence it is also called Church of All Nations. The basilica was finished in 1924 and has not undergone any restoration work since. This coupled with the fact that the signs of “ageing” were really beginning to show on the Basilica’s domes, led the Custody of the Holy Land to begin restoration work on what is one of Christianity’s most important sites. The Basilica is just a few steps away from the holy garden which evokes that nocturnal scene on Holy Thursday when Jesus suffered the moments of agony and abandonment the Lord had in store for him.“The Franciscans could have given the project to foreign experts but they chose to invest in the training of young Palestinians from the local area,” said Carla Benelli who heads the cultural projects carried out by ATS pro Terra Sancta (www.proterrasancta.org). ATS pro Terra Sancta is the Custody’s lay branch and the initiative’s coordinating body. The six young people chosen are from the Mosaic Centre in Jericho. Five of them are Muslims.“Giving the project for the restoration of the basilica by the Garden of Olives to a group of young Muslims (who contributed to the restoration of two synagogues) was a challenging task, but they feel grateful and proud to be participating in this restoration project,” Benelli said. But it is not just time that has left its mark on the Basilica, recent history has too. The splendid mosaic depicting Jesus as mediator between God and humanity that adorns the tympanum, still has the marks of the bullets that hit the façade during the Six Day War of 1967. The project receives the support of the Palestinian Municipality Support Program of the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem, the Municipality of Rovereto and Italian foundation Opera Campana. The Custodian of the Holy Land, Fr. Pizzaballa, has underlined the importance and educational value of this project on many occasions. Thanks to Jerusalem’s schools, more than a thousand children between the ages of 8 and 12 have come to visit the Church  which was opened especially for them during closing hours (12-14). Many did not know about this world heritage site, venerated by more than one billion people. “When children go to school in the morning, they see coaches lining up to let pilgrims off and ask themselves: why there?”So Franciscans thought to encourage school visits  to teach the young inheritors of this legacy a church that belongs to them as well, to both Muslim and Christian children. “They are mostly shocked to see that they live close to such a beautiful place, in the heart of Eastern Jerusalem.” They would never have imagined it. At the end of the tour, one young Muslim girl even asked the friars whether she could come back with her parents.

Israel preemptively rejects new Iranian proposal

Reported plan to limit Islamic Republic’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief is ‘a bad deal,’ official tells AFP

November 7, 2013, 3:31 am 0
In Tehran, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard leaders have been mollified somewhat for now by supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s suggestion that he will give President Hassan Rouhani only a limited time to negotiate an end to the sanctions. Underscoring the support that the hard-liners enjoy in Tehran, tens of thousands marked Monday’s anniversary of the 1979 storming of the US Embassy with chants of “Death to America!” The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Iranian Nobel laureate pans Rouhani’s rights record

Peace prize winner Shirin Ebadi notes that despite reform-minded president, 40 Iranians have been executed in just 10 days

November 6, 2013, 11:17 pm 2-The Times of Israel
NEW YORK (AP) — Iranian Nobel Peace laureate Shirin Ebadi strongly criticized the human rights record of President Hassan Rouhani, citing a dramatic increase in executions since he took office this year and accusing the government of lying about the release of political prisoners. She also pointed to spreading support for a hunger strike by human rights lawyer Abdolfattah Soltani and three others in a Tehran prison to protest inadequate medical care, which was joined Monday by about 80 prisoners at another prison west of the capital.Ebadi, a US-based human rights lawyer who since 2009 has lived outside Iran in self-exile, said in an interview Tuesday with The Associated Press that Rouhani may have the reputation of a moderate reformer, but so far “we get bad signals” from the new government when it comes to human rights. Ebadi won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for her efforts to promote democracy, becoming the first Iranian and first Muslim woman to win the prize. The comments by Ebadi were mostly directed at Rouhani. They also underscore Iran’s internal tensions between Rouhani’s government and hard-liners opposing diplomatic initiatives that include groundbreaking overtures to Washington. After Rouhani and President Barack Obama held an historic phone call during the Iranian leader’s September trip to the United Nations in New York, Iran’s top leader hinted that he disapproved, though he reiterated his crucial support for Rouhani’s general policy of outreach to the West.Ebadi’s criticism further points out the limitations of Iran’s presidency, which has little control of security or judiciary affairs that are under the sway of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the ruling clerics, as well as the powerful Revolutionary Guard.Ebadi pointed to Tehran’s largest anti-US rally in years on Monday — the anniversary of the takeover of the US Embassy in 1979 following the Iranian revolution — where tens of thousands of demonstrators chanted “death to America” and burned an American flag.“How do they want to have a rapprochement with America when they do that?” she asked. “Therefore, I think it’s too early to judge whether the relations between Iran and America will improve or not.”Ebadi also expressed outrage at the retaliation that followed the death of 14 border guards in a clash with government opponents on Oct. 25 near the town of Saravan near the frontier with Pakistan.
The semiofficial Fars news agency reported that 16 “rebels” were hanged hours later in revenge for the attack. But Ebadi said the prosecutor for the province went on television soon after the attack and announced that 16 prisoners arrested previously — who had nothing to do with the attack — had been executed in retaliation. She said the government cracks down on human rights because of “fear, but they use religion or abuse religion in order to justify it.”And those executions weren’t the only ones, she said.
In the last 10 days, 40 people have been executed, including some political prisoners, Ebadi said, and since Rouhani was inaugurated in August, the number of executions has doubled compared with a year ago.
Ebadi said government propaganda claims that dozens of political prisoners have been released.
“This is a big lie,” she said. “Twelve or thirteen people have been released but these are people who had served their time.” Top opposition figures, Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mahdi Karroubi, remain under house arrest.Ebadi said the only political prisoner released early was prominent human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh, winner of the 2012 Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. She is still barred from leaving Iran, Ebadi said.In another rights crackdown, she said, the editor of the reformist newspaper Bahar was jailed last week for publishing an article on Shiite Islam deemed offensive by authorities in the Islamic Republic, a predominantly Shiite nation. He was released on “hefty” bail after two days but the paper remains closed, she said.Ebadi, 66, left Iran just before the disputed 2009 election which gave Rouhani’s predecessor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a second term. She said she will return when she can carry out human rights activities and her colleagues are released from prison.Ebadi expressed hope that nuclear negotiations between Iran and six world powers, which are set to resume Thursday, will lead to the end of US-led sanctions and a settlement of the stalemate with the West over Tehran’s nuclear program.“But I have doubts,” she quickly added, “and I think it’s too early to be optimistic.”Instead of economic sanctions that impoverish Iranians, Ebadi urged the United States and Europe to block satellite access for Iranian “propaganda” broadcasts in 16 non-Persian languages, including English, Arabic and Spanish.

Rob Ford protestors say resignation is the only option

A day after Rob Ford’s stunning admission that he smoked crack cocaine — “probably in one of my drunken stupors” — more than a hundred protestors gathered in Nathan Phillips Square to make it clear they’ll accept nothing less than the mayor’s resignation.A larger protest was already being planned by SaveToronto.ca, a self-described non-partisan group of people united by the belief that Ford needs to resign. But Tuesday’s admission and Ford’s subsequent reiteration that he won’t be stepping down was too much to ignore, said event spokesperson Nikki Thomas, so they organized an additional, more informal rally.
People couldn’t “just sit and stew” for a week, she said. One of the protestors, Liz Reynolds, listened to Ford’s admission and heard his emotional apology. But it seemed, she said, to be all about Ford.“Mayor Ford has claimed so many times to love the city of Toronto,” she said, “But I feel now he’s dragging the city through the mud and if he truly did love the city and want the best for the city then he would step down.”
Her thought was echoed in numerous chalk drawings written on the concrete in front of City Hall.“Our CITY is more important than our MAYOR!” wrote one person in green chalk.“MAYOR FORD: IF YOU LOVE TORONTO, SET IT FREE,” wrote another in yellow.“He truly seems not to care and seems to think that he can just continue to do whatever he wants,” said Chioni McAlister, who cheered alongside the rest holding a homemade sign listing notable Ford moments and labelled “the many faces of Rob Ford.”The seemingly unwavering support of Ford Nation — recent polls show him up five per cent since police announced last week they’d obtained the crack video — is what concerns McAlister the most. The petition had more than 1,300 signatures as of Wednesday morning.“I’m shocked and appalled and kind of surprised that he’s gotten away with so much,” she said. “We’re leading such a bad example, in every way, for children, for politicians, for their cities.”For an hour over lunchtime, protestors used bells, posters, and chalk to make their voices heard, although Ford was holed up in his office, ducking reporters. The original rally is still expected to go ahead, with a Facebook page for the rally showing more than 600 people planning to attend. It’s scheduled for Nov. 13, to coincide with a city council meeting.“Clearly the world is watching and the one person who needs to pay attention to what’s happening is (Ford) and he isn’t so we’re going to give him no choice and show up,” Thomas said.In the meantime, other residents have taken to the Internet to voice their concerns about the mayor. Brett Belchetz started a petition on Change.org earlier this week, calling on Ford to step down. His petition, “City of Toronto, Government of Ontario: Mayor Rob Ford must resign from office,” gained steady support in the four days it was up, with almost 1,000 people signing. But after the mayor’s admission support snowballed. The petition had more than 2,400 signatures by Wednesday afternoon. Despite the support, online petitions don’t have any legal authority and Belchetz himself said he thinks it’s “highly unlikely” Ford will resign. That’s why he’s addressed his call for the mayor’s resignation to city councillors and the provincial government. Seeing thousands of people who are concerned and frustrated about the mayor’s behaviour could help councillors and MPPs make the difficult decisions it will take to remove Ford from office, Belchetz said.

Despite rifts, Kerry remains upbeat on peace talks

Netanyahu says PA not living up to commitments; Palestinians say secret negotiating session Tuesday broke down over settlements

November 6, 2013, 11:21 am-The Times of Israel

AP — US Secretary of State John Kerry waded again into the nitty-gritty of faltering Israeli-Palestinian peace talks on Wednesday, saying he was optimistic that tensions and difficulties could be overcome, even as Israel’s leader bashed the Palestinians for the poor state of negotiations.“I am very confident of our ability to work through them,” Kerry told reporters as he opened a meeting in a Jerusalem hotel with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “That is why I am here.”“This can be achieved with good faith and a serious effort on both sides,” he said, urging both Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who he set to see later in the day, to make “real compromises and hard decisions.”After being launched in July with great fanfare, the negotiations quickly ran into trouble with no visible signs of progress and both sides reverting to a familiar pattern of finger pointing. The goal of reaching a peace deal within nine months appears in jeopardy. And, underscoring the challenge ahead, a secret negotiating session held on Tuesday broke down in an acrimonious dispute over Israeli settlement construction, according to a Palestinian official.
Standing alongside Kerry, Netanyahu complained about the Palestinians, saying the peace talks were in trouble because of their behavior.“I am concerned about their progress because I see the Palestinians continuing with incitement, continuing to create artificial crises, continuing to avoid (and) run away (from) strong decisions that are needed to make a genuine peace,” he told Kerry. “I hope your visit will help steer them back to a place where we can achieve the historical peace that we seek.”The talks are set to end in April and the current deadlock has raised speculation that the US may need to step up its involvement and present its own blueprint for peace early next year, or perhaps lower expectations and pursue a limited, interim agreement. Kerry and his aides have refused to discuss such an option, insisting instead that the goal of the talks remains a comprehensive peace pact.Kerry said he would continue to plug away despite the problems.“We need the space to negotiate privately, secretly, quietly and we will continue to do that,” he said. “We have six months ahead of us on the timetable we have set for ourselves and I am confident we have the ability to make progress.”After seeing Netanyahu, Kerry will travel to the West Bank town of Bethlehem for talks with Abbas. He will then return to Jerusalem for a meeting with President Shimon Peres and meet with Netanyahu again over dinner. On Thursday, Kerry plans to travel to Jordan, where he expects to see Abbas for a second time on his current mission. After months of cajoling, Kerry persuaded Israel and the Palestinians to reopen peace talks in late July after a nearly five-year break. The parties have largely honored Kerry’s request to keep the content of the negotiations secret. But officials on both sides have acknowledged that no progress has been made, though they say that the talks have addressed all key issues at the core of the dispute. These include defining the borders of a future Palestine, and addressing Israeli security demands. The Palestinians want to establish an independent state in the West Bank, east Jerusalem and Gaza Strip, territories captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war. They say they’re willing to adjust those borders to allow Israel to keep some West Bank settlements as part of a “land swap.”Netanyahu opposes a withdrawal to Israel’s pre-1967 lines, saying such borders would be indefensible. He has also demanded that the Palestinians recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland, a condition they reject on the grounds that it would harm the rights of Israel’s Arab minority and Palestinian refugees who claim lost properties inside what is now Israel. Netanyahu also rejects shared control of east Jerusalem, home to key religious sites and the Palestinians’ hoped-for capital. For years, the Palestinians refused to sit down with Netanyahu while he continued to expand Jewish settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. The Palestinians say continued expansion of the settlements, now home to more than 500,000 Israelis, is a sign of bad faith.Under heavy US pressure, the Palestinians reluctantly agreed to drop their demand for a settlement freeze in return for Israeli pledges to release about 100 long-serving Palestinian prisoners, and vague assurances that any settlement construction would be restrained. The US-brokered formula has been put to the test in recent days. Israel released a second batch of prisoners, all of whom had been convicted of murdering Israelis, setting off a painful debate over the merits of such a move. Joyful Palestinian celebrations welcoming the prisoners home as heroes added to the Israeli public’s anger.Netanyahu responded to the prisoner release by announcing plans to build thousands of homes in settlements, angering the Palestinians.
Immediately after arriving in Israel on Tuesday night, Kerry visited the Tel Aviv memorial for slain prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, who reached a landmark peace agreement with the Palestinians before he was assassinated by a Jewish ultra-nationalist in 1995.A very small but vocal group of protesters against the prisoner release heckled Kerry as he laid a wreath at the memorial chanting, “Don’t free terrorists.”
Around the same time, the secret negotiating session was breaking down, according to the Palestinian official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the pledge not to discuss the negotiations in public.
The official said the outrage over the settlement plans boiled over at a secret negotiating session with the Israelis in Jerusalem. The official said the meeting, held at Kerry’s request, “exploded” over the settlement issue, and that the talks were abruptly halted. Abbas is expected to raise the matter with Kerry at their meeting in Bethlehem.Israeli officials had no immediate comment.

The Israeli Air Force will conduct a joint drill with a bevy of some 1,000 pilots from three other nations in the Negev Desert later this month. The two-week exercise will take place at the Uvda air base, near the southern resort city of Eilat, and will include air crews from the United States, Italy and Greece, the IAF announced Tuesday. The drill, which has been dubbed “Blue Flag,” will be modeled after the US Air Force’s annual Red Flag desert exercise. More than 100 aircraft will be on hand to participate in simulated dogfights and surface-to-air exercises. It will be the largest international drill ever held in Israel, requiring the IAF to conduct extensive preparations.“A moment before the start signal, Israeli squadrons are embarking on a preparatory workshop during which they’ll take off, maneuver and drill for four full days so as to ready themselves, as much as possible, for the impending international exercise,” the IAF said in a statement on its website.
Israeli pilots have also been practicing their in-flight English.“Blue Flag is a highly advanced drill and we have to conduct it in English – something that we aren’t accustomed to,” said Second Lieutenant Omri, who is in charge of one squadron’s preparatory workshop. The IAF has been drilling extensively in recent years for the possibility that it will be called upon to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.Last month, as talks over Iran’s nuclear program kicked off in Geneva, the IAF conducted several large exercises over the northern border and the Mediterranean Sea, with fighter aircraft practicing a simulated strike on a distant target. Those flights included midair refueling, coordinated strikes to an exceptionally long distance, and dogfights. They were carried out over the territorial waters of Greece, which will be among the countries participating in Blue Flag this month.

Two futures

This year’s General Assembly in Jerusalem tackles the fateful issues of Israel-Diaspora relations and North American Jewry

November 5, 2013, 12:01 pm 0-The Times of Israel

The General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America is the place where thousands come to discuss, to debate and to hear impactful words from world Jewish leaders in plenary sessions. But as we all know, sometimes your Jewish world can change from a discussion with a friend in the hallway or over a cup of coffee with a colleague.Every GA is important. But this year’s GA brings with it an extra measure of urgency. This GA is really about two futures: the future of Israel and its relationship with the Diaspora; and the challenges facing North American Jewry. The recently released Pew Research Center’s “Portrait of Jewish Americans” survey underscored those challenges. At this GA, this critical time for our people, we will explore both Israel’s future and how we will approach many of our own perceived and factual deficits revealed by the study. We are therefore choosing this time and space, this GA in Jerusalem, to challenge our community to come up big with major initiatives. We suggest that in the interest of a new Jewish Head Start that we make Jewish early childhood free and available to every Jewish child. We urge the expansion of the Jewish summer camp experience. For years we’ve studied camp, campers and the camp experience. We don’t need any more studies. We need more camps, so we can increase the percentage of Jewish children attending camp from 10 to 30 percent.
Let’s get to work on Birthright. Get the list, and ask the more than 350,000 alums what they want to do Jewishly now. Let’s use technology to re-connect with them where they are. We need to follow up.
Create Jewish development zones – Here we’d target five centers of Jewish populations with many Jews, but too few Jewish connections. It’s up to us to provide an adrenaline shot of Jewish investment, Jewish Head Start, one new Jewish camp, and Jewish programs for young single adults and Birthright alumni. As we’ve said, if nothing else, the Pew study clearly demonstrates that our people stand at an urgent crossroads. But meeting at that crossroads is also the road of tremendous opportunity. Yet it’s only an opportunity if our leadership seizes upon it with renewed vigor and focus. In a few more weeks, Americans will celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving. Just as then, we Jews will celebrate during these three GA days by giving thanks for each other, for our common causes and even for our differences. For we are Jews, and we are family. Sometimes family members disagree. We might disagree over an issue pertaining to politics, social welfare or even Israel. But we all agree that those differences fall far short of the common love we have for Israel.
The importance of year’s GA is not only that that it’s in Israel; it’s that it’s about Israel. We learn from one another at this central gathering of our communal system. The GA is for us, but it also says something so important about us. Thought provoking programing will combine with inspiring experiences that we will take back to our communities, and that will fuel our neshamot, our souls, until we meet again. So why? Why is this year’s GA going to be different from all other years? And what about GA 2013 in Jerusalem, the faith capital of the world? We’ll be back this year in a spirit of thanks and partnership between North American Jewry and Israel. So it’s no wonder that the grand plenaries and interactive breakouts we’ll experience this year explore with purpose the core issues facing Israel and world Jewry. Our sessions have been carefully planned to address Israel’s place in the world today, the internal societal challenges Israel faces, the changing culture of Jewish philanthropy we now experience, and the present and future status of Israel’s relationship with the global community.A remarkable constellation of Israeli and North American Jewish leaders will tell us how they are changing the world and blazing new trails in politics, philanthropy, business, religion and culture. We’ll hear from leaders of the land, starting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who for his entire career has made the GA a priority in Israel’s relationship with the North American Diaspora. And we’re excited to say that one plenary will feature a question and answer session with President Shimon Peres with questions submitted by audience members and via Facebook. Also at the GA: Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Minister for Jerusalem and Diaspora Affairs Naftali Bennett, opposition leader Shelly Yacimovich, and the Knesset’s youngest member, Stav Shaffir. We’ll also hear from business leaders and innovators such as El Al CEO and former IAF Commander in Chief Eliezer Shkedi and Daniel Birnbaum, CEO of SodaStream International. This year’s GA will also feature Israeli voices we don’t usually hear as we celebrate Israeli innovation and thought leadership, like Emma Butin, an entrepreneur, blogger and product strategist; and Paz Cohen, who is helping use cutting-edge technology to amplify social issues. No Jewish communal group but the Jewish Federations of North America can bring together such a dynamic and wide-ranging group of names and figures. The provocative topics impacting Israel and its relationship with world Jewry include an open discussion of developments in the Haredi world and the challenge of speaking effectively for Israel today, a challenge entirely different from the one faced by Israel advocates in 1967.We’ll listen and we’ll talk about Israel at its heart. We’ll discuss Israel’s challenges with the Arab Spring and the influence of Iran, the world’s number one sponsor of terror. And we’ll also take a look at what is happening inside of Israel. Yes, Jewish pluralism and religious freedom among Jews is at a critical juncture in this still very young state. We’re breaking new ground this year with programs such as FEDTalks, which will bring Israel to life in entirely new ways. Our aim is to help Federation and other Jewish professionals have the tools they need to better communicate about their work in the broader Jewish community. In Jerusalem, we will walk through the capital of our people as we have done throughout history. We connect here in this holiest of cities with Jews who escaped the Holocaust’s tyranny, with Jews from the former Soviet Union who yearned for religious freedom, with Jews who wanted to take part in the day to day of what is truly God’s country. We are all brothers and sisters. This will be for all of us a very different GA, a groundbreaking one of sorts where a dynamic forum will focus sharply on Israel and the Israel-Diaspora dynamic. This is an opportunity for unprecedented dialogue between Israelis and North American Jews. No issue will go untouched, be it religious debate and discussion, the way Israel as a civil society moves forward, Issues of poverty and, yes, a wealth gap in Israel. These might be Israeli issues, but they are important to all Jews. This GA should be considered a Global Jewish Marketplace of ideas and participatory dialogue to further those ideas.Social networking? Israel is the nation that made it possible for the world to text, Facebook, blog, tweet and follow us online. So, of course, the GA, much of it live streamed, will be the center of “likes” for the entire Jewish world during these three days. At this wired GA, an unprecedented number of bloggers will keep the world uplinked to Jerusalem. We’ll learn together how technology and the social network will touch on new sectors like crowdsourcing philanthropy, Tweeting and Web streaming. There’s even a GA smartphone App.May you have the time of your life. We have a great deal to do. Let these three days of GA in Jerusalem be the platform for our future in Israel, in America and all over the world. And may the next Jewish communal study show that Jerusalem was where we came together as a unified people moving forward.Let’s begin here.—Gerrald (Jerry) Silverman and Michael Siegal are, respectively, president and CEO and chair of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federations of North America. The JFNA General Assembly takes place Nov. 10-12.

Israeli authorities demolish house belonging to Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem

Patriarch Fouad Twal stands among the ruins of the home belonging to the Latin Patriarchate

Surrounded by rubble, Fouad Twal protested against “an injustice we cannot keep quiet about”

Giorgio Bernardelli “It is an act of vandalism that infringes international law,” said the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Fouad Twal, as he stood amongst the ruins of a Palestinian home, a week after it was demolished by the Israeli authority.Patriarch Twal, auxiliary bishops and numerous Christians living in the Holy Land took part in this afternoon’s angry protests, held just a few metres away from the check-point that separates Jerusalem from Bethlehem. The outcry was accompanied by a powerful letter of protest  addressed to the Israeli interior minister. The incident took place at dawn on 28 October, when bulldozers rolled up to raze the building to the ground. The house was located 150 metres from the check-point, at the foot of Tantur hill, near the Jewish neighbourhood of Gilo. The family that lived in the house which belonged to the Latin Patriarchate, said: “They turned up at 5 in the morning. They forced us to go out of our house. They took our cell phones away and forbid us from letting anyone know. We stood there and watched as the bulldozers demolished the house.”This is the latest in a string of demolitions of Palestinian homes, ordered in recent days by the East Jerusalem municipality. The official reason given is to do with town planning regulations: Israeli authorities are knocking the houses down because they claim “these were built without legal permits.” The  houses are therefore demolished to make space for the expansion of great Jewish neighbourhoods in eastern Jerusalem, such as Gilo and Har Homa. But this particular case is a paradox: it was built prior to 1967 when the Six Day War led to Israel taking control of the area, which was situated within Jerusalem’s boundaries. So this house was only illegal insofar as there were no urban plans that took into account the buildings that existed in the area.“Despite knowing that the house belonged to us, no one  warned us about this  act of madness. This is an injustice we cannot keep quiet about,” Fouad Twal said during today’s protest.

HOARDING OF GOLD AND SILVER

DOCTOR DOCTORIAN FROM ANGEL OF GOD
then the angel said, Financial crisis will come to Asia. I will shake the world.

JAMES 5:1-3
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

REVELATION 18:10,17,19
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

EZEKIEL 7:19
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed:(CONFISCATED) their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Economic recovery slow and painful, EU's Rehn says

05.11.13 @ 15:56
BRUSSELS - The EU economy will remain flat in 2013, EU economic affairs commissioner Olli Rehn said on Tuesday (5 November), as he downgraded the bloc's growth forecasts for 2014 and 2015.Although the EU economy grew by 0.3 percent in the second quarter of 2013, offsetting an identical decline between January and March, the commission is not expecting any further growth in the remaining six months of the year.Meanwhile, the eurozone's GDP is to contract by 0.4 percent in 2013 and remain static across the EU before increasing by 1.1 percent and 1.7 in 2014 and 2015, according to the commission's autumn economic forecast. However, Rehn said all 28 of the EU's member states would achieve economic growth by 2015.
He said the European economy had "reached a turning point" although he cautioned that "it is too early to declare victory: unemployment remains at unacceptably high levels."Rehn said there were increasing signs that confidence among businesses and consumers was increasing, pointing out that the EU's economic sentiment indicator had hit its highest level for two years.Latvia and Lithuania enjoyed the highest growth rates in 2012 and 2013, a trend which is expected to continue in 2014 and 2015.At the other end of the economic spectrum, Greece is expected to end six straight years of recession - which has wiped out over a quarter of its output - in 2014 by reaching a 0.6 percent growth rate.Cyprus and Slovenia are set to be the only countries in recession in 2014.The commission also blames weaker-than-expected growth among emerging market economies such as China, India and Brazil, together with uncertainty over the US "fiscal cliff," for the sluggish pace of recovery. The emerging market slowdown would have a drag on overall world trade and have a knock-on effect on Europe, said Rehn.Dealing with the February 2014 fiscal cliff, which would see the US government default on its debt payments unless a deal on tax and spending programmes can be agreed by Democrats and Republicans, would require "very decisive action" by US lawmakers, he added. The EU's double-dip recession has prompted a sharp rise in government debt levels to almost 90 percent across the bloc and 96 percent in the eurozone. But debt levels in the EU's crisis countries are now stabilising.Greece's debt mountain is expected to peak at 176 percent in 2013 before falling by 0.3 percent in 2014 and a further 5 percent in 2015.Government austerity measures are also having a slow but noticeable effect. The average budget deficit in the EU will fall to around 3.5 percent of GDP in 2013 before reducing to 3 percent - the maximum allowed under EU rules - in 2014.But there was little to cheer for Europe's jobless. Unemployment levels are likely to remain virtually unchanged, although they are forecast to fall from 12.2 percent to 11.8 percent across the eurozone by 2015.For his part, ING chief economist Carsten Brzeski, told this website that the commission forecasts "reflect the sad truth about the European recovery. It is a very slow, fragile and anaemic recovery."He added that "higher fiscal deficits in many problem countries, including France, and higher current account surpluses in core countries offer many test cases for the commission to prove that the new fiscal and surveillance rules really bite."

FIRST ANGEL TO DR DOCTORIAN
The first angel said: I have a message for all of Asia. When he said that, in a split few seconds, I could see all of China, India, the Asian countries like Vietnam, Laos - I've never been to those countries. I saw the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. And then the angel showed me all of Papua New Guinea, Irian Jaya and down to Australia and New Zealand.I am the angel of Asia, he said. And in his hand I saw a tremendous trumpet that he is going to blow all over Asia. Whatever the angel said, it's going to happen with the trumpet of the Lord all over Asia. Millions are going to hear the mighty voice of the Lord. Then the angel said, There shall be disaster, starvation - many will die from hunger. Strong winds will be looked like has never happened before. A great part shall be shaken and destroyed. Earthquakes will take place all over Asia and the sea will cover the earth.I saw this on June 20. Today is August 16. A few weeks ago I heard the news of villages completely wiped out and washed into the sea in Papua New Guinea. Thousand of lives in great jeopardy. That happened a few weeks ago, and the angel told me it is going to happen all over Asia. The earth will fall into the sea, I heard the angel say, part of Australia will be shaken. Australia will be divided, and a great part will go under the ocean. This was frightening - I wondered whether I was hearing right. But the angel said,Millions will die in China and in India. Nation will be against nation, brother against brother. Asians will fight each other. Nuclear weapons shall be used, killing millions. Twice I heard the words,  Catastrophic! Catastrophic! then the angel said, Financial crisis will come to Asia. I will shake the world.I was trembling while the angel was speaking. Then he looked at me and smiled and
said, There shall be the greatest spiritual awakening - bondage will be broken. Barriers will be removed. And all over Asia - China - India - people will turn to Christ. In Australia there shall be tremendous revival. I heard the angel of Asia say, It is the last harvest. Then as if the Lord were speaking, he said, I shall prepare My church for the return of Christ. I was happy with such good news after the message of judgment. All the time the five angels were in my room I could feel their presence - it was tremendous.

SECOND ANGEL TO DR DOCTORIAN
Then I saw that the second angel had a sickle in his hand, such as is used in harvesting. The second angel said, Harvest time has come in Israel and the countries all the way to Iran. I saw those countries in a few split seconds. All of Turkey and those [inaudible;] countries that have refused me and refused my message of love shall hate each other and kill one another. I saw the angel raise the sickle and come down on all the Middle East countries.I saw Iran, Persia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, all of Georgia - Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, all of Asia Minor - full of blood. I saw blood all over these countries. And I saw fire; Nuclear weapons used in many of those countries. Smoke rising from everywhere. Sudden destruction - men destroying one another.I heard these words, Israel, Oh Israel, the great judgment has come. The angel said, The chosen, the church, the remnant, shall be purified. The Spirit of God shall prepare the children of God. I saw fires rising
to heaven. The angel said, This is the final judgment. My church shall be purified, protected and ready for the final day. Men will die from thirst. Water shall be scarce all over the Middle East. Rivers shall dry up, and men will fight for water in those countries. The angel showed me that the United Nations shall be broken in pieces because of the crisis in the Middle East. There shall be no more United Nations. The angel with the sickle shall reap the harvest.

THIRD ANGEL TO DR DOCTORIAN
Then one of the angels with wings showed me Europe from one end to the other - from the north all the way down to Spain and Portugal. In his hand he had a scale of measurement. I saw him fly over Europe, and I heard the words, I am grieved. I am grieved. Unrighteousness, uncleanness, ungodliness - all over Europe. The sin has risen to heaven. The Holy Spirit is grieved. I saw the rivers of Europe flooding and covering millions of houses. Millions drown. After seeing this, I read the news a few weeks ago. Czechoslovakia had the worst flooding ever. I also heard that the big river in China is in tremendous danger of thousands of houses being destroyed in flooding. I didn't know all this news until after I had seen the vision and heard what the angels told me.Suddenly I heard earthquakes all over Europe.  Countries that have had no earthquakes shall be shaken, said the angel. And suddenly, in my spirit, I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris crumbling falling down. A great part of Germany destroyed. The great city of London - destruction everywhere. I saw floods all over Scandinavia. I looked to the south and saw Spain and Portugal passing through hunger and great destruction. Many will die from hunger all over Spain and Portugal. I was disturbed by all this news, and I said, Lord, what about your children? The angel said, I shall prepare them. They shall be looking for the appearing of the Lord. Many will cry to me in those days and I will save them. I shall perform mighty miracles for them and show them My power. So in the midst of great destruction, there will be the grace of God in those countries. I was happy that God has His protection over His children.

FOURTH ANGEL TO DR DOCTORIAN
Now we go to Africa. I saw the fourth angel with wings fly over Africa, and I could see from Capetown in the south all the way to the north of  Cairo - I saw all the countries there, more than fifty of them. The angel of Africa had a sword in his hand - a tremendous, sharp sword. Suddenly I heard him say, Innocent blood has been shed. Divisions amongst the people generations far from the Lord - they have killed one
another, thousands of people. I have seen my faithful children in Africa, and I shall reward all the faithful in the continent of Africa. I shall bless them abundantly. I shall control the weather - scorching and burning of the sun in some parts. Great rivers shall dry up, and millions will die from starvation. In other parts, flooding. Foundations shall be shaken. My sword shall judge the unrighteous and the bloodthirsty. So many earthquakes shall happen that rivers shall flow different directions in the continent, flooding many villages. I saw great pieces falling from the sky over different parts of Africa .There shall be trembling of the earth like has not been seen since the creation. None shall escape the sword of the Lord. I saw the River Nile drying up. It is the god of Egypt. Fishes dead and stinking all over Egypt. A great part of the middle of Africa will be covered with water - millions dying. Lord, I said, It is all bad news. All destruction. Any good news? The Lord said, The final day has come. Judgment day is here. My love has been refused now, and the end has come. I was shaking and trembling. I thought I cannot bear it.

FIFTH ANGEL TO DR DOCTORIAN
Then I saw the last angel flying over North and South America - all the way from the North Pole down to Argentina. From the east of the U.S.A. to California. I saw in his hand a bowl. The angel said he would pour out over these countries the judgments that were in the bowl. Then I heard the angel say, No justice anymore. No righteousness. No holiness. Idolatry. Materialism. Drunkenness. Bondage of sin. Shedding of innocent blood - millions of babies being killed before they are born. Families are broken. An adulterous generation. Sodom and Gomorrah is here. The days of Noah are here. False preachers. False prophets. Refusing of my love. Many of them have the imitation of religion, but denying the real power. When I heard all that, I begged the angel, Can you not wait for a little while? Don't pour it. Give a chance for repentance. The angel said, Many times God has spared and has spoken, but they have not listened. His patience has come to an end. Beware, the time has come. They have loved money and pleasure more than they have loved Me. As the angel began to pour from the bowl in his hand, I saw tremendous icebergs melting. When that happened I saw floods all over Canada and North America - all the rivers flood; destruction everywhere. I heard the world market collapsing with mighty earthquakes, and New York skyscrapers were tumbling - millions dying.I saw ships in the ocean sinking. I heard explosions all over the north country. I saw the angel pouring over Mexico and two oceans joining together- the Atlantic and the Pacific. A great part of north Brazil covered with water, the Amazon River turning into a great sea. Forests destroyed and flooded. Major cities in Brazil destroyed; earthquakes in many places. As the angel poured, great destruction took place in Chile and Argentina as never before. The whole world was shaking. Then I heard the angel say, This will happen in a very short time.I said, Can't you postpone? Don't pour these things out all over the globe. And suddenly I saw the five angels standing around the globe lifting up their hands and their wings towards heaven and saying, All glory to the Lord of heaven and earth. Now the time has come and He will glorify His Son. The earth shall be burned and destroyed. All things shall pass away. The new Heaven and New Earth shall come. God shall destroy the works of the devil forever. I shall show My power - how I will protect My children in the midst of all this destruction.

Be ready for that day, for the Lord has come.My room was full of light from the brightness of the angels. Then suddenly they ascended up to heaven. As I looked up I saw the angels go in five directions. I know they already have started their duties. For more than an hour I could not move. I was wide-awake, trembling from time to time. I said, Lord, shall I leave Patmos now? He said, No, I brought you here for a
purpose. I said,The message from the angels all over the world is not good news. It is judgment, punishment, destruction, devastation. What will people say about me? I've always been a preacher of love, peace and good news. The angel said, It is our message. You are the instrument, the channel. What a privilege that God has chosen you to give this message to the nations. I said, Lord, Thy will be done.To God be the glory.

What the world would look like if all the ice melted

.
(COPYRIGHT © SEPTEMBER 2013 NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY)
If all of the ice in the world melted, sea levels would raise some 216 feet. But what exactly would that look like? And more specifically, what would such a worse-case scenario mean for the Earth’s population?
National Geographic has created a fascinating visual representation of this thought experiment and provided an analysis of how each continent would be affected by such a catastrophic change.First off, this is not a blanket statement about climate change. As National Geographic notes, even scientists tracking the melting of ice around the world say it would take some 5,000 years for all the world’s ice to melt.Still, it’s interesting to look at exactly what would happen if this scenario was taken to its most extreme conclusion. As a result of the drastic rise in sea levels, the average temperature around the Earth would rise from 58 degrees to 80 degrees. In North America, the entire Atlantic seaboard would vanish beneath the waves, including Florida and the Gulf Coast. Much of California would be underwater. Millions of Americans would be permanently dislocated from their homes to say nothing of the potentially insurmountable impact on natural wildlife.
And again, this scenario is only based on current population figures. Who knows what the Earth will look like in 5,000 years and how many people will be living here?
.
(National Geographic)
In South America, Buenos Aires, coastal Uruguay and most of Paraguay would be submerged.
Africa would technically be largely untouched but much of its would become inhabitable because of the increased temperature. In Egypt, Alexandria and Cairo would be “swamped” by flooding waters from the Mediterranean. Many of Europe’s greatest landmarks would be destroyed: London would disappear, Venice, gone. The Netherlands and most of Denmark would also be entirely underwater. In Asia, National Geographic says land currently inhabited by 600 million Chinese would be underwater, as would all of Bangladesh and coastal India. As for Australia, they would gain a new sea in the center of the continent, but lose the coastal strip where more than 80 percent of the population lives. And Antarctica? Virtually unrecognizable. After all, that’s where the vast majority of the Earth’s ice resides today. The Environmental Protection Agency says that overall ice reduction will depend on several factors, including: The rate at which levels of greenhouse gas concentrations in our atmosphere continue to increase, how strongly features of the climate (e.g., temperature, precipitation, and sea level) respond to the expected increase in greenhouse gas concentrations and natural influences on climate (e.g., from volcanic activity and changes in the sun's intensity) and natural processes within the climate system (e.g., changes in ocean circulation patterns)

FORD FINALLY ADMITS CRACK SMOKING

KING JESUS IS COMING FOR US ANY TIME NOW. THE RAPTURE. BE PREPARED TO GO.

Mayor Rob Ford: 'Yes I have smoked crack cocaine'

Toronto mayor makes stunning admission during city hall scrum

CBC News Posted: Nov 05, 2013 12:34 PM ET Last Updated: Nov 05, 2013 1:48 PM ET
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford admitted today he has smoked crack cocaine, saying it was probably "in one of my drunken stupors" about a year ago.Ford made the shocking statement Tuesday at Toronto City Hall in a scrum with reporters.“Yes I have smoked crack cocaine,” Ford said.“But, no — do I? Am I an addict, no? Have I tried it? Um, probably in one of my drunken stupors, probably approximately about a year ago.”
The mayor suggested that he hadn’t been lying when reporters previously asked him about the tape.
“So, I wasn’t lying. You didn’t ask the correct questions,” Ford said.“No I’m not an addict and no, I do not do drugs. I made mistakes in the past and all I can do is apologize, but it is what it is and I can’t change the past.”"Yes, I've made mistakes, all I can do now is apologize and move on," the mayor said. "I can apologize to my family, my friends, my colleagues and the people of this great city."

Ford colleagues react

Ford's admission drew immediate response from colleagues city hall. Many are calling for the mayor to step aside to sort out his personal issues.Coun. Jaye Robinson said that now, Ford does not have even “a shred of credibility,” and she wants to see him take a leave of absence."The real issue is getting the mayor to address his health issues, step aside [and] take a leave of absence, as I’ve been saying for six long months," said Robinson. "And now he’s coming forward and he’s admitting that there is clearly a problem here."
Robinson was previously a member of the mayor’s executive committee, though she was ousted from her position as the chair of the community and recreation development committee after she urged Ford to take a leave of absence.Kristyn Wong-Tam, a left-leaning councillor, said the admission undercuts Ford's image as a politician that represents the middle-class voter."Mayor Ford claims to represent the 'little guy,'' Wong Tam said in a tweet. "The 'little guy' and your Average Joe as far as I know do not smoke crack cocaine. The same day that Ford admitted to using crack cocaine, news broke that councillors have prepared at least two separate motions related to his behaviour. One motion from Coun. John Filion seeks to strip the mayor of his ability to hire or fire the deputy mayor, or any of the standing committee chairs.A second motion from Coun. Denzil Minnan-Wong calls on the mayor to apologize, co-operate with police in their ongoing investigation and to take a temporary leave of absence."I think it’s time for him to take a break," Minnan-Wong said when speaking with reporters on Tuesday afternoon, about an hour after the mayor admitted to having smoked crack cocaine. It was unclear Tuesday how Ford's sudden, apparently impromptu admission of prior drug use will affect his future as Toronto's mayor. There is no legal mechanism to remove him from office for using drugs.Last week, Toronto's police chief said authorities had recovered a video of the mayor with images that corresponded with media reports about him appearing to smoke crack cocaine and making racial slurs.
Ford repeated a call for the tape to be released on Tuesday."I don't even recall there being a tape or a video and I know that. So I want to see the state that I was in. I wasn't lying," he told reporters.Ford's admission comes after months of speculation that began in May of this year when reports surfaced that a video exists that shows the mayor smoking what appears to be crack cocaine.Ford, 44, was elected as the mayor of Toronto three years ago. He still has another year to go in his current term.

Mayor's previous denials

During his time as mayor, Ford has consistently drawn headlines both for his work at city hall and his life outside of it.Earlier this year, the Toronto Star and the U.S. gossip website Gawker each reported that someone had been shopping a video of the mayor using crack cocaine.Ford had denied both the video’s existence and using crack cocaine.Alongside with questions about his drug use, Ford has also faced questions about the people he associates with in his private life.Toronto police undertook an investigation into allegations regarding the video, which involved following the mayor and other individuals. Ground and aerial surveillance was used. The end of that investigation saw police charge Alexander Lisi, also known as Sandro or Alessandro, with extortion.Ford has said that Lisi, who has served as an occasional driver for the mayor, is a friend. The drug controversy is not the only high-profile challenge Ford has faced in office. He faced a conflict-of-interest challenge that saw a judge order him removed from office, but he ended up winning an appeal and hanging onto his job.Ford also faced a defamation lawsuit that was eventually dismissed.
