Israeli police were on high alert in and around the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount Saturday night ahead of the marking of Tisha B’Av — the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av, when the Jewish people remember the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem — after a video of a Jewish woman insulting the Prophet Muhammad went viral over the weekend.A large number of Jewish worshipers are expected in the Old City for morning prayers to mark the day. Police fear clashes could break out following tensions surrounding a video filmed Thursday in which a Jewish woman who had just returned from a visit to the Temple Mount is seen calling the Muslim prophet a “pig.”The clip went viral among Palestinians on social media and the furious responses led to some minor clashes with Israeli police officers following Friday prayers on the Temple Mount.Muslim worshipers can be seen in a separate video chanting “with spirit, with blood, we’ll redeem you, messenger of God!”The incident Thursday began when a Jewish group visiting the Temple Mount were escorted out of the site and into the alleys of the Old City. They were then heckled by the Murabitun — self-proclaimed guardians of the holy site, who are funded by the Islamic Movement.A woman from the Jewish group decided to respond, looking into the camera of a person assumed to be a member of the organization, and saying in Hebrew: “Muhammad is a pig.”The statement enraged the Muslim women in the organization, who then shouted insults and threats of violence at the Jewish woman. Border Police officers escorting the Jewish group had to physically place themselves between the two groups to prevent violence.The clip of the incident was then uploaded to Facebook where it spread quickly.Jewish visitors are allowed on the Temple Mount but are forbidden to pray there.On Friday, police arrested the Jewish woman who made the offensive statement, who, according to Channel 2, lives in a settlement in the West Bank. She was released shortly before the start of the Jewish Sabbath and forbidden to go to the Temple Mount for an undisclosed period of time.Police fear the whole episode could lead to renewed clashes in the Old City on Sunday. More than 2,000 police officers and Border Police forces will be deployed in and around the area in an effort to maintain order.

The former wife of spy-for-Israel Jonathan Pollard said Saturday there was “no official word” that Pollard will soon go free, even as a flurry of reports indicated that the US government may not intervene to prevent his release when he becomes eligible for parole on November 21.The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that the Obama administration is preparing to release Pollard, who was convicted in 1987 of spying for Israel, in hopes of alleviating tensions over the Iranian nuclear deal.Administration officials responded that there was “zero linkage” between Pollard’s status and any foreign policy considerations.” But the US Justice Department appeared to affirm talk of a November release when it said Friday that Pollard should serve “his full sentence for the serious crimes he committed, which in this case is a 30-year sentence as mandated by statute.”In a Channel 2 interview, his former wife Anne Pollard stressed, “There is no official word that Jonathan is being released on any date… There is no news, no official response on that whatsoever.”His eligibility for parole on November 21, 2015 has been public knowledge for years, she noted, and the question was, and remains, whether there would be intervention to prevent him going free on or around that date.Pleading for his release, and for the Israeli government to allocate “a large budget” to help him, Anne Pollard said her former husband had done everything the prison authorities asked of him, had a history of “good behavior,” and is “very, very ill.”She was “100 percent” certain he would want to be on a plane to Israel “within hours” if released, she said. Emma Sky was at a loss for words when asked by a member of the British Iraq Inquiry in January 2011 what training she should have undergone before leaving for Iraq eight years earlier.“I was trying to think what one-week course you could go on that would equip you to occupy somebody else’s country,” she said. “This was a crazy question, but I thought that my ten years in Israel/Palestine had given me such enormous experiences that helped me develop my instincts on how to approach things in Iraq.”Responding to a British government request for volunteers to rebuild the country following the fall of Saddam Hussein in June 2003, the petite British Council employee soon found herself responsible for the entire province of Kirkuk, where Kurds and Arabs were struggling for dominance over the oil-rich territory.In her new book The Unraveling: High Hopes and Missed Opportunities in Iraq (Public Affairs, 2015), Sky describes a decade of trials and tribulations in occupied Iraq, first as Governorate Coordinator for the northern province of Kirkuk under the Coalition Provisional Authority (2003-2004), and then, three years later, as political adviser to General Ray Odierno who commanded the US forces in the country (2007-2010).Sky’s book, described by a New York Times book review last week as an “important and disturbing memoir,” is a tribute to the American forces alongside whom she served in Iraq. These debates about should you refuse to do military service or should you go and join a unit to be a moderating influence happened when I was at a very young and impressionable age,” she remembered.Israeli soldiers of the IDF 'Nahal Haredi' unit seen during a shooting exercise at the Peles Military Sky had just started as an undergraduate at Oxford, focusing first on classics and then on Middle Eastern studies, when the first Intifada erupted in December 1987. So after a decade, when the Second Intifada broke out, that’s when I despaired and left,” she said.When the First Gulf War broke out in August 1990, Sky was an impassioned pacifist itching to take action. She signed up as a human shield, determined to protect the Iraqi population from Coalition air strikes. She never ended up leaving for that war, however.The assassination of Yitzhak Rabin was a watershed moment for Sky. Believing wholeheartedly that one must do everything in one’s power to support the cause of peace, she attended the Tel Aviv rally on November 4, 1995, where Rabin was gunned down by right-wing extremist Yigal Amir.“I had though it inevitable that there would be two states for two peoples. But when Rabin was assassinated I could see how one violent individual could destroy the hopes of a generation,” she said. “If you don’t stand up against those individuals, then they’ll win.”If you want to bring about change, you have to compromise’Sky may have stayed home for the First Gulf War, but her spirit of volunteerism materialized 12 years later, in the aftermath of the 2003 American invasion of Iraq which toppled the dictatorial regime of Saddam Hussein.“I thought: I’ve gained all these skills and experience working in Israel/Palestine for a decade, I’m against the war, but let me go and be a moderating influence, let me go and use my skills to help Iraq,” she said.‘It’s much easier to be on the sidelines, to be a referee, than it is to actually work within one side to try and bring about a result,’ Sky said“It’s much easier to be on the sidelines, to be a referee, than it is to actually work with one side to try and bring about a result,” she continued. “I think as I got older, I realized if you want to bring about change you have to compromise. To change others, you’ve got to be willing to change yourself.”Sky learned that far from simply being “good guys” or “bad guys,” as American soldiers often categorized them, Iraqis could be molded into friends or enemies depending on how they’re treated.“People can change their opinions,” she said. “From my time in Israel/Palestine I know there isn’t one Israeli opinion or one Palestinian opinion. There are many different shades of opinions, and those opinions change.”Another lesson gleaned from the Israeli-Palestinian context was that “it’s all about the politics.”-“I had spent a decade trying to find technical solutions to problems, and watched everything fall apart because the politics weren’t right. I had the same sense in Iraq: if we don’t get the politics right, there’s no amount of nation-building or capacity development you can do that will be sustainable.”-Iraqis miss their Jewish neighbors-During her time in Iraq, Sky was surprised by the level of Iraqi sentimentality for the country’s bygone Jewish population. At the start of the twentieth century, Jews were estimated to comprise 40 percent of Baghdad’s population, she noted.“The memory of Jews in Iraq is everywhere,” Sky said, remarking that Youtube clips of traditional Iraqi music commonly circulated in the county were often preformed by Jews living in Israel. “Iraqis see that their music heritage and some of their culture has been kept alive by Iraqi Jews.”Once, during a visit with Masoud Barazani, President of the autonomous Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq, Sky was told of an emotional meeting between the Kurdish leader and a congressman’s chief of staff of Kurdish-Jewish descent.“The chief of staff said to Barazani: ‘you may not remember me, but we’ve met before. I was the little boy who you helped escape from Iraq,'” she said. The American staffer as well as Barazani’s translator were in tears, Sky wrote in her book, and Barazani himself “struggled to maintain his composure.” During his meeting with Sky, Barazani proudly noted that former Israeli defense minister Yitzhak Mordechai hailed from the next village over.‘The memory of Jews in Iraq is everywhere,’ Sky said-Those days, sadly, are long gone. Today, with the Islamic State gaining control over vast tracts of land in northern and western Iraq, it is doubtful whether Iraq even exists as a state today. VATICAN CITY-He is still popular, but not super-popular as he was a year ago. This is the picture that emerges from a poll conducted in the US between 8 and 12 July by consulting company Gallup.The results were published on Wednesday 22 July, just two months before Francis is due to arrive in the US, where he will be visiting New York, Washington and Philadelphia after his stop-over in Cuba. 59% of Americans have a favourable opinion of Pope Francis while 16% have an unfavourable opinion of him and 25% has no opinion of him or has never heard of him. It is interesting to compare these results to those of previous polls about Francis conducted by Gallup.A month after his election in April 2013, Pope Francis had a 58% favourability rating in the US against 10% who had an unfavourable opinion of him. 31% did not have an opinion about him or had never heard of him.Francis’ popularity shot up in February 2014, when, according to Gallup, 76% of Americans had a favourable opinion of the Pope, 9% did not and 16% had no opinion of him or had never heard of him. A look at the results of this latest survey shows that Pope Francis' favourability rating in the US has returned to where it was when he was elected Pope. Meanwhile, the percentage of those who view him unfavourably has increased from the 9%-10% he received in the first two surveys, to 16% in this latest survey.Going through the various groups of people interviewed, in detail, what emerges is that the biggest drop in favourability is among Catholics (the Pope’s rating has fallen from 89% to 71%, an 18% drop) and among Americans who consider themselves political Conservatives (a drop from 72% to 45%, a 27% drop). Francis’ favourability rating among those who consider themselves political Liberals has dropped by 14% (82% favourable last year down to 68% this year). A very slight drop was seen among those who define themselves as moderates.The results of the Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews with a random sample of 1,009 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 US states and the District of Columbia. The margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. As is the case with all surveys of this kind, one must be cautious when drawing conclusions. What can be said, however, is that it is likely the peak levels of popularity seen in February 2014 and the lowest levels seen in July this year reflect the way in which the Pope’s image has been presented: the revolutionary who apparently changed everything in the Church, sticking to the agenda with regard to female ordination, married priests and the approval same-sex unions; the “Marxist” Pope who is an enemy of the capitalist economy.As was the case with his predecessors Benedict XVI and John Paul II, the percentages look to change after Francis’ visit to the US, when a far higher number of people will have the chance to see what he is doing and hear him speak. Karcher.“He is spending this time keeping in touch with friends, the people he cares about,” Mgr. Karcher added. “He is making the most his free time, devoting it to this as well as to reading documents and upcoming projects.”Mgr. Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelisation, has updated Vatican Insider on the progress of the preparations underway. “We do not know how many pilgrims will be coming to Rome,” says the man in charge of co-ordinating the Extraordinary Holy Year. “No operational meetings with Italian authorities are scheduled for August but priorities have already been set.” The problems on the table are amplified in a city like Rome where there is a constant flow of visitors. This means there will be “daily problems linked to mobility, healthcare which the Region is responsible for and security which the government’s domain”. The Vatican has alerted the Italian side not only about the main events organised for the Jubilee which will attract huge crowds, but also about the “daily management of a widespread and continuous pilgrimage that will go on for the entire period of the Holy Door opening.”Co-operation between the Holy See, the government and the regional and municipal administrations is “constant” and is taking place in a “very positive” climate. Despite the current difficulties Rome’s city council (Comune di Roma) is facing, contact with its authorities has been regular, without “any gaps or delays”.In terms of the contact the Vatican has had with national Episcopates, the archbishop emphasises : “we have sent an invitation letter to all bishops from around the world, along with information on all questions relating to the Jubilee: how to bring it to life in their own dioceses, which is the most important thing of all and how to organise a pilgrimage to Rome.”In order to prevent economic speculation on the event, the “various entities that oversee the activities of business owners will need to keep an effective check on prices and tariffs”. From hoteliers to retailers. Pilgrims are “a unique category of people who require protection”.There are other logistical issues which organisers will need to work out, such as tourism bus connections between car parks on the outskirts with St. Peter’s Square and Jubilee venues. “These issues have not yet been dealt with,” Mgr. Fisichella remarked. “The main aim here is to ensure that anyone arriving in Rome is able to reach the Holy Door after a short pilgrimage on foot.” So “we are trying to ensure that the conditions are such as to allow pilgrims to be worthy of this name,” through welcome points and structures that “are being developed”.Pope Francis will introduce one charity initiative each month for the entire duration of the Jubilee: twelve initiatives that will aim to serve the neediest sections of the population. APOSTOLIC LETTER ISSUED MOTU PROPRIO OF THE SUPREME PONTIFF FRANCIS ON THE JURISDICTION OF JUDICIAL AUTHORITIES OF VATICAN CITY STATE IN CRIMINAL MATTERS

In our times, the common good is increasingly threatened by transnational organized crime, the improper use of the markets and of the economy, as well as by terrorism.It is therefore necessary for the international community to adopt adequate legal instruments to prevent and counter criminal activities, by promoting international judicial cooperation on criminal matters.In ratifying numerous international conventions in these areas, and acting also on behalf of Vatican City State, the Holy See has constantly maintained that such agreements are effective means to prevent criminal activities that threaten human dignity, the common good and peace.With a view to renewing the Apostolic See’s commitment to cooperate to these ends, by means of this Apostolic Letter issued Motu Proprio, I establish that:

1. The competent Judicial Authorities of Vatican City State shall also exercise penal jurisdiction over: a) crimes committed against the security, the fundamental interests or the patrimony of the Holy See;b) crimes referred to: - in Vatican City State Law No. VIII, of 11 July 2013, containing Supplementary Norms on Criminal Law Matters; - in Vatican City State Law No. IX, of 11 July 2013, containing Amendments to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code;when such crimes are committed by the persons referred to in paragraph 3 below, in the exercise of their functions; c) any other crime whose prosecution is required by an international agreement ratified by the Holy See, if the perpetrator is physically present in the territory of Vatican City State and has not been extradited.

2. The crimes referred to in paragraph 1 are to be judged pursuant to the criminal law in force in Vatican City State at the time of their commission, without prejudice to the general principles of the legal system on the temporal application of criminal laws.

3. For the purposes of Vatican criminal law, the following persons are deemed “public officials”:a) members, officials and personnel of the various organs of the Roman Curia and of the Institutions connected to it. b) papal legates and diplomatic personnel of the Holy See. c) those persons who serve as representatives, managers or directors, as well as persons who even de facto manage or exercise control over the entities directly dependent on the Holy See and listed in the registry of canonical juridical persons kept by the Governorate of Vatican City State;d) any other person holding an administrative or judicial mandate in the Holy See, permanent or temporary, paid or unpaid, irrespective of that person’s seniority.

4. The jurisdiction referred to in paragraph 1 comprises also the administrative liability of juridical persons arising from crimes, as regulated by Vatican City State laws.

5. When the same matters are prosecuted in other States, the provisions in force in Vatican City State on concurrent jurisdiction shall apply.

6. The content of article 23 of Law No. CXIX of 21 November 1987, which approves the Judicial Order of Vatican City State remains in force.

The current context of communications, characterized by the presence and development of digital media, by the factors of convergence and interaction, demands both a rethinking of the Holy See’s information system, and a commitment to reorganize it, while appreciating what has been developed historically within the framework of communications of the Apostolic See, certainly moves towards a unified integration and management.For these reasons I believe that all of the realities which, in various ways up to the present have dealt with communications, should be incorporated into a new Dicastery of the Roman Curia, which will bear the title Secretariat for Communications. In this way, the Holy See communications system will respond ever better to the needs of the mission of the Church.Therefore, after having examined the reports and studies submitted, having recently received the study on its feasibility, and having heard the unanimous opinion of the Council of Cardinals, I institute the Secretariat for Communications and establish it as follows.

Art. 1-The Dicastery, according to what was presented by the Vatican Media Commission, instituted on 30 April 2015, will combine the following Bodies within the set time limit: the Pontifical Council for Social Communications; the Holy See Press Office; the Vatican Internet Service; Vatican Radio; the Vatican Television Centre; L’Osservatore Romano; the Vatican Printing Press; the Photo Service; and the Vatican Publishing House.

Art. 2-Such Bodies, from the date of publication of the present Motu Proprio, shall continue their respective activities, observing however, the indications provided by the Secretariat for Communications.

Art. 3-The new Dicastery, in accord with the Secretariat of State, will assume responsibility for the Holy See’s institutional website: www.vatican.va, and the Twitter service of the Supreme Pontiff: @pontifex.

Art. 4-The Secretariat for Communications will begin its proper functions on 29 June 2015, having as its provisional headquarters Palazzo Pio, Piazza Pia, 3, 00120 Vatican City State.

By means of the Motu Proprio “The Apostolic See” of 30 December 2010 on the prevention and countering of illegal activities in the area of monetary and financial dealings, my predecessor Benedict XVI established the Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA) and approved its first statutes.Subsequently, with a view to strengthening further the measures already taken to prevent and counter potential illicit activities in the monetary and financial sectors, as well as countering the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, by means of the Motu Proprio “The promotion” of 8 August 2013, I accorded new functions to the Financial Intelligence Authority.Bearing in mind also the advice of the Commission for Reference on the Institute for the Works of Religion, which I established by means of the Chirograph dated 24 June 2013, I have deemed it appropriate to reform the internal structure of the Authority so that it may fulfill even more adequately its institutional functions and therefore, with this Apostolic Letter, I approve the Statutes of the Financial Intelligence Authority hereby attached, which replace the previous ones.I dispose that everything established in this Apostolic Letter issued Motu Proprio has full and permanent value, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, although it may merit special mention, and I decree that it be promulgated by its publication in L’Osservatore Romano, entering into force on 21 November 2013.Given in Rome, at Saint Peter’s, on 15 November of the year 2013, the first of the Pontificate.Franciscus PP.

Statutes-of the Financial Intelligence Authority-Chapter I-Nature and Functions

Article 1 – Nature and legal seat-1. The Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA) is an institution connected to the Holy See in accordance with Articles 186 ff. of the Apostolic Constitution Pastor bonus.2. The Authority is endowed with canonical public legal personality and has its legal seat in the Vatican City State.

Article 2 – Functions-The Authority shall perform, in full autonomy and independence, the following functions: a) prudential supervision and regulation of those entities that carry out professionally a financial activity; b) supervision and regulation for the prevention and countering of money laundering and financing of terrorism;c) financial intelligence.

Chapter II-Organs, Structure and Personnel

Article 3 – Organs and structure-1. The organs of the Authority are: a) the President; b) the Board of Directors; c) the Director.

2. The Authority has two department:   a) the Office of Supervision and Regulation; b) the Office of Financial Intelligence.

3. The Authority shall adopt the necessary measures and procedures to ensure the operational distinction between the supervisory and regulatory function and the financial intelligence function.

Article 4 – The Board of Directors and the President- 1. The Board of Directors is composed of four members and a President, appointed by the Supreme Pontiff for a five-year period among persons of proven reputation, free from any conflict of interest and having recognized professional competence in the legal, economic and financial fields as well as in the subject-matters that fall within the scope of activity of the Authority. 2. The Board of Directors shall: a) formulate the Authority’s general policies and fundamental strategies; b) adopt the Authority’s internal regulation; c) grant the Director the power to sign on behalf of the Authority, according to the modalities set forth in the Authority’s internal regulation;d) adopt regulations and guidelines where required by law; e) adopt the schedule of off-site and on-site inspections of the supervised subjects prepared by the Director; f) apply administrative sanctions in the cases foreseen by the law in force; g) propose to the President of the Governorate the application of administrative sanctions in the cases foreseen by law; h) approve every year, by 31 March, the Authority’s budget and, by 31 October, its final balance, both prepared by the Director; i) approve every year, by 31 March a public report, prepared by the Director, containing non confidential data, information and statistics on the activity carried out by Authority in the exercise of its functions;   j) approve every year, by 31 March, a confidential report, prepared by the Director, for the use of the Secretariat of State, on the activity carried out by the Authority in the exercise of its functions;    k) formulate, through its President, proposals on the appointment of the Director, the Deputy-director and the personnel;   l) request studies and opinions and entrust specific activities to its members, to the Director and to external experts.

3. The President:- a) shall chair the Board of Directors; b) is the Authority’s legal representative; c) has the power to sign on behalf of the Authority.

Article 5 – Meetings of the Board of Directors

1. The Board of Directors is convened by the President ordinarily every three months as well as whenever necessary, including upon request from one of the members of the Board of Director or from the Director.

2. The meetings shall be chaired by the President. If he is absent, the meetings shall be chaired by the member designated to do so by the President.

3. The President shall convoke the meetings, decide on the agenda and conduct the proceedings.

4. The invitation, containing the agenda, shall be sent to the members of the board ordinarily at least five days before the meeting. In urgent cases, the invitation shall be sent at least one day before the meeting using fax, email, or other immediate means of communication that can be documented.

5. For the validity of the meetings, the presence of at least three members shall be required.

6. The decisions of the Board of Directors require the affirmative vote of the majority of its members.

7. Minutes of the proceedings and of the decisions shall be made, signed by the President and the Secretary, and registered in the Book of Minutes.

8. The Secretary is elected by the Board of Directors among its members.

9. The Book of Minutes and excerpts of it, certified by the President and the Secretary, shall provide full evidence of the proceedings and of the decisions taken therein.

Article 6 – The Director

1. The Director shall be appointed by the Secretary of State for a period of five years, upon a proposal from the President, among persons of proven reputation, free from any conflict of interest and having recognized professional competence in the legal, economic and financial fields as well as in the subject-matters that fall within the scope of activity of the Authority.

2. The Director, in line with the general policy and fundamental strategies defined by the Board of Directors, shall: a) direct, organize and control the activity of the Authority;   b) propose to the Board of Directors the appointment of the Deputy-director and the recruitment of the personnel, within the limits of the organizational chart and the budget, and take part in the selection procedure; c) supervise the personnel, promoting its continuous training, updating and professional qualification;   d) adopt instructions and guidelines relating the organization and activity of the personnel; e) propose to the Board of Directors the schedule of off-site and on-site inspections of the supervised subjects; f) within the framework of the schedule approved by the Board of Directors, prepare and conduct the off-site and on-site inspections of the supervised subjects; g) propose to the Board of Directors the application of administrative sanctions in the cases foreseen by law; h) propose to the Board of Directors, by 28 February, the Authority’s budget and, by 30 September, its final balance; i) propose to the Board of Directors, by 28 February, a public report containing non confidential data, information and statistics on the activities carried out by the Authority in the exercise of its functions;   j) propose to the Board of Directors, by 28 February, a confidential report for the use of the Secretariat of State on the activities carried out by the Authority in the exercise of its functions;   k) take part, without right to vote, in the meetings of the Board of Directors; l) take part in the meetings of the Financial Security Committee; m) disseminates reports, documents, data and information to the Promoter of Justice of the Tribunal of the Vatican City Sate in the cases foreseen by the laws in force;   n) form part of the delegations of the Holy See to the financial institutions and international technical bodies competent in the area of the prevention and countering of money laundering and the financing of terrorism; o) propose to the Board of Directors general policies and fundamental strategies regarding the international cooperation; p) sign, if so authorized by the Board of Director, memoranda of understanding with analogous authorities of other States in the cases foreseen by the laws in force.

3. The Director shall be assisted by a Deputy-director appointed by the Secretary of State for a period of five years, upon a proposal from the President, among persons of proven reputation, free from any conflict of interest and having recognized professional competence in the legal, economic and financial fields as well as in the subject-matters that fall within the scope of activity of the Authority.

4. The Deputy-director shall replace the Director in case of absence.

5. The applicable principles and norms contained in the Regulation on lay personnel of management level of the Holy See and the Vatican City of State, of 22 October 2012, as it may be amended and supplemented, shall be observed for the appointment and employment of the Director and Deputy-director.

Article 7 – Personnel

1. The Authority shall have adequate human and material resources, proportional to its institutional functions, within the limits of its organizational chart.

2. The heads of department, the personnel and the external experts shall be chosen among persons of proven reputation, free from any conflict of interest and having a superior level of formation in the legal, economic and financial fields as well as in the subject-matters that fall within the scope of activity of the Authority.

3. The heads of department shall be appointed with a decision of the Secretary of State upon proposal from the President.

4. The applicable principles and norms contianed in the Regulation on lay personnel of management level of the Holy See and the Vatican City of State, of 22 October 2012, as it may be amended and supplemented, shall be observed for the appointment and employment of the personnel.

Chapter III

Access to Information and Cooperation at the National and International Levels

Article 8 - Access to information and cooperation at the domestic and international levels

The Authority shall have access to documents, data and information and it shall cooperate at the domestic and international levels in the cases foreseen by the law.

Article 9 – Protection of documents, data and information

All the documents, data and information held by the Authority shall be: a) used only for the purposes established by law; b) protected with a view to ensuring their security, integrity and confidentiality; c) covered by the office secret.

Article 10 – Final Clause-In those matters not provided for by this Statutes, the provisions of Canon and Vatican Civil Law shall apply.
