DOCTOR DOCTORIAN FROM ANGEL OF GOD
then the angel said, Financial crisis will come to Asia. I will shake the world.
JAMES 5:1-3
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
REVELATION 18:10,17,19
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
EZEKIEL 7:19
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
REVELATION 13:16-18
16 And he(FALSE POPE) causeth all,(WORLD SOCIALISM) both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:(CHIP IMPLANT)
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.(6-6-6) A NUMBER SYSTEM

Alien Genetic Takeover: The End of Humanity Aaron Dykes Infowars.com October 26, 2011
http://www.infowars.com/alien-genetic-takeover-the-end-of-humanity/
COMMENT FROM ALEX JONES: Yes the headline says alien takeover, because it is alien to cross plant, animal, insect and microscopic species… and this witch’s brew is already having disastrous effects and is the single greatest threat not only to our species but to the planet as a whole. In this powerful video, Alex breaks down how the global takeover might as well be coming from a hostile alien species– as depicted in John Carpenter’s classic 1982 horror film The Thing. In fact, such an invader would be hard pressed to wreak more destruction upon the earth’s biosphere. In the film, and its other versions from 1951 and 2011, an uncovered species takes over its host’s DNA while outwardly imitating it, threatening to infect the entire planet in a short span. In the real world, aggressive genetically-modified species are destroying naturally-occurring species while provably causing harm to those who consume GMO foods– including widespread infertility, organ failure, cancer and mutations, as demonstrated repeatedly in lab animal studies.
In fact, the real dangers of GMOs, human-animal hybrids, vaccines (loaded with super-viruses, dangerous chemical compounds and other special ingredients), fluoride and much more have only begun to unleash their long-term multi-generational harm. The frank reality is that what humanity faces is far worse than Alex could possibly convey in this short presentation.Complex and controversial emerging legal rulings over gene patents and intellectual property are clearly paving the way for the globalists’ Thing mechanism to dominate agriculture, monopolize medicine and profit on mass-death and the unraveling of our planet’s genetic inheritance. Those in power hope to retain a privately-controlled continuity through their arctic seed vaults (a la Noah’s ark), but life is bigger than even they can grasp.Technological solutions will create a two-tier system aiming to enshrine the lives of the elite- with the available enhancements for health and longevity- while allowing further domination and dumbing-down of the masses (the nouveau riche, the middle class and poor alike). A wide-spectrum of ambient soft-kill enviro-additives poison us all, with the future hanging in the balance, at the very time an inner-coterie of science, tech and wealth has declared that the future doesn’t need us.If we don’t stop this Thing now, we may never have a second chance. It is vital we recognize this amorphous danger for what it is– the annihilation of our species and those with which we co-inhabit. We don’t have any more time to waste.

Court: IDF Does Not Have to Compensate for Gaza Attack-The IDF does not have to compensate the family of a Gaza Arab who was killed during an army raid against terrorists, a court ruled Thursday.By David Lev First Publish: 10/27/2011, 11:51 AM
The IDF does not have to compensate the family of a Gaza Arab woman who was killed during an army raid against a terrorist nest in Gaza. The Jerusalem District Court on Thurday threw out a lawsuit by the family of Fatima and Khaled Wahba, a mother and child who were accidentally killed during a raid against terrorists in southern Gaza in 2006.According to the lawsuit, an Israeli missile hit the home where the Wahbas were staying in southern Gaza. The IDF said that the missile had been meant for a vehicle carrying several terrorists. Attorneys for the IDF sought to have the case dismissed as soon as it was filed, considering that the incident occurred during an Israeli action against terrorists, a defensive situation in which the army cannot take responsibility for civilians who do not take cover in battle areas. In the vehicle were several wanted terrorists, one of whom was to carry out an attack against Israel in the coming days, the IDF said. The court ruled that the evidence presented clearly showed that the army's description of the events was accurate, and that the Wahbas were unfortunate wartime civilian casualties whose home was not targeted. As such, the state has no financial responsibility to the plaintiffs. Not only that; the court ruled that due to the actions of the terrorists, the army had had no choice but to attack the terrorists in the manner that it did, and that by doing so it put soldiers at greater risk than other methods of stopping the terrorists would have entailed – thus likely saving the lives of many more Gaza Arabs.
In the 2006 incident, the missile that hit the Wahba's residence did not fall far from where the vehicle carrying the terrorists was traveling, indicating that the terrorists had driven very close to the homes of civilians in Gaza – apparently seeking to use the civilians as human shields against IDF attack. Terrorists often take advantage of civilians, taking cover with them and using them for general protection, because they know that the IDF almost never fires directly on structures where it knows civilians are located. The court obligated the members of the Wahba family who brought the lawsuit to pay NIS 25,000 in court costs.
Report: Israel Tells US No New Freeze in Judea, Samaria-Israel tells the US Ambassador there will be no new freeze in Judea and Samaria to jumpstart talks with the Palestinian Authority.By Chana Ya'ar First Publish: 10/27/2011, 12:36 PM
Israel has reportedly once again told the United States it will not freeze construction in Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria in order to jumpstart talks with the Palestinian Authority.U.S. Ambassador Dan Shapiro allegedly made the request during a meeting Thursday morning with Interior Minister Eli Yishai, according to a report broadcast by IDF Army Radio. However, the conversation apparently took place without the knowledge of the Prime Minister's Office. When asked, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's spokesman Mark Regev told Arutz Sheva that his office had not been notified, and he had not heard anything about this.Shapiro reportedly couched the request in terms of its being a goodwill gesture -- however, it has consistently been framed by the PA as a precondition for any return to the negotiating table.
Yishai told the American ambassador that Israel would not agree to any freeze, noting that no Israeli government had given in to PA demands to freeze settlements in the past, nor is there any reason do so now.Shapiro, for his part, reiterated the U.S. commitment to exercise its veto in the U.N. Security Council against the Palestinian Authority's attempt to circumvent negotiations by applying for United Nations membership and recognition as an independent sovereign nation.
US to Sell F-16 to Egypt in Grapel Deal-Egypt came out a big winner in the deal for Ilan Grapel: the US will sell Cairo the F-16 fighter, while Israel frees 25 prisoners.By Chana Ya'ar First Publish: 10/27/2011, 11:34 AM
Egypt has come out the big winner in negotiations for the release of U.S.-Israeli national Ilan Grapel, held prisoner by Cairo since June 12 after he inadvertently became caught up in the melee of Tahrir Square's Arab Spring uprising.Delicate diplomatic wrangling by Israeli and American negotiators over the past five months managed to reduce the charge of espionage by Egyptian authorities down to incitement -- but demands for the release of Egyptian prisoners in exchange for Grapel's freedom resulted in both Israel and the United States being forced to fold.On Israel's side 25 Egyptian prisoners, including three minors, will be taken to the Taba Crossing by 1:00 p.m. today (Thursday) to be transferred into Egyptian custody in exchange for the third-year Emory College law student. But according to Egyptian military expert General Sameh Sayf al-Yazal, the United States has agreed to a much bigger deal: America will sell its much-acclaimed F-16 stealth fighter to Cairo.Yazal told the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency early Thursday that the U.S. agreed to the price during negotiations for Ilan's release -- a deal that had been rejected by Washington during the Mubarak years in order to maintain the balance of military power in the region.
Israel is being seen as having been the main obstacle to the deal in the past however, having objected to the U.S. selling the F-16 to Egypt because it would equalize Cairo's aerial capabilities with those of the IAF.However, Israel's resistance to the sale has since diminished due to the development of the F-35, which Israel is set to receive within the next five years, and which will once again upgrade the IAF's regional military superiority.Israel will spend more than $200 million per F-35i fighter aircraft, according to Defense Industry Daily. Delivery of the aircraft is not expected, however, until at least 2016.
Arab Group: Let Us Teach History Our Way-A new guidance document from the Arab Pedagogic Council seeks to implement a curriculum about Israel similar to that taught in PA schools.By David Lev First Publish: 10/27/2011, 10:03 AM
While Israel has made numerous – so far unsuccessful – attempts to persuade the Palestinian Authority to temper its anti-Israel school curriculum, which essentially denies Israel's right to exist and considers the entire existence of the state as the occupation, Israeli Arab children are set to learn similar ideas in the schools they attend. A new guidance document from the Arab Pedagogic Council – which is made up of schools in Israeli Arab towns and villages and is supported financially by schools which draw their budgets from the government, seeks to implement a vicious anti-Israel curriculum in schools, telling the story of Palestine from the same perspective that the PA does. The document, titled Purposes of Education and Teacher Guidance for the Palestinian Minority in Israel, was published this week with the backing and approval of Arab political leaders, including Knesset members. In the document's introduction, the authors set the agenda by describing the historical facts which the Council recommends as setting the basis for all history and civics lessons in schools. Like the rest of the nations of the world, the document says, Palestinians progressed in the development of Palestinian cities and towns, and of agriculture. Then came the Nakba, the document continues, using the Arab term for destruction that is used to describe the establishment of Israel, which we are still in the midst of.
Among the tools the Zionists used in setting up a national home for Jewish people were violence and racism, fear-mongering, destruction, uprooting of homes and communities, theft, and ethnic cleansing, the document says. These things caused a destruction for the Palestinian people. But these events also caused a sharpening of the Palestinian identity both in the diaspora and in the homeland. The Council says it released the guidelines to counter what it says was Israel's restrictions on Arab education systems, which are not permitted to present the facts of history. It recommends that history and civics be treated like religion – with all curriculum and materials provided by an expert committee with expertise in the area. The Education Ministry said that the document was not official and and not been approved for use as a guideline.
Jewish Gaza Becomes Launching Pad for Terror Attacks on Israel-A former Jewish town has become a launching pad for Grad rocket attacks on southern Israel.By Chana Ya'ar First Publish: 10/27/2011, 9:57 AM
The ruins of a former Jewish town in northern Gaza on Wednesday night became the launching pad for Grad Katyusha attacks on southern Israel.Military sources said three missiles fired by Gaza terrorists were most likely launched from the ruins of the former secular Jewish village of Dugit. The community, a small seaside fishing, marine rescue and tourism village, was located in the northernmost part of the Jewish area of Gaza. It was closest to the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in a bloc of Jewish settlements that included Elei Sinai and Nisanit. Dugit was technically under the municipal authority of the Hof Aza Regional Council, and not physically part of the Gush Katif bloc, where most of the other Jewish communities were located.
The missiles fired Wednesday night by Gaza terrorists exploded in the coastal city of Ashdod and the community of Bnei Aish shortly before midnight. All landed in open areas. No one was physically injured, but a number of people suffered from shock and severe anxiety. The Color Red air raid alert siren sounded in Yavne, Gedera, Ashdod, Rehovot and Nes Tziona -- the first time air raid sirens had activated in the latter two cities.Israeli Air Force fighter pilots retaliated within hours, targeting three terrorist activity sites in central Gaza, and destroying a weapons storage facility in the southern part of the region. Direct hits were confirmed, and all Israeli personnel returned to base unharmed. A petition to Israel's Supreme Court by a Gaza family that attempted to sue the State of Israel over past collateral damage was denied Thursday morning.Deputy Knesset Chairman MK Danny Danon (Likud) warned Thursday morning that the time has come to set the red line for terrorists launching rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza. After the generous Shalit deal, the time has come for us to deal with the Hamas snakes in Gaza,he said in a statement. The Hamas [terrorist organization] no longer has its hostage, and we must now set a red line to prevent the residents of southern Israel from being the next Hamas hostages.
Quartet: Israel, PA Agree to Make Proposals Within 3 Months-Following separate meetings with PA and Israeli officials, Quartet says sides are ready to make proposals to advance talks.By Elad Benari First Publish: 10/27/2011, 8:25 AM
An official on behalf of the Quartet of Middle East peace mediators said on Wednesday that Israel and the Palestinian Authority have agreed to make proposals on issues of territory and security within three months. The announcement came following separate meetings between a Quartet delegation, headed by Middle East envoy Tony Blair, and PA and Israeli officials.A UN official was quoted as having told Reuters on behalf of the Quartet, The parties agreed with the Quartet to come forward with comprehensive proposals on territory and security within three months in the context of our shared commitment to the objective of direct negotiations leading toward an agreement by the end of 2012.The Quartet envoys also called on the parties to resume direct bilateral negotiations without delay or preconditions and said they would meet the parties regularly over the next 90 days. The Quartet – which comprises the United Nations, the European Union, the United States and Russia – is pushing a timetable for talks it presented last month. The timetable calls for comprehensive proposals within three months on issues of territory and security, and substantial progress within six months. A peace agreement would be reached by the end of 2012.
Israel has already accepted the Quartet’s plan, and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s office reiterated on Wednesday that Israel was interested in restarting direct talks without preconditions. The PA, however, is still adamant on presenting preconditions for direct negotiations. Reuters reported that the PA’s negotiator, Saeb Erekat, said after the meeting with the Quartet officials, that the entity is prepared to sit at the negotiating table as soon as the Israeli government freezes all settlement construction and accepts clear terms of reference, specifically the 1967 borders [1949 armistice lines –ed.].
Markets cheer euro deal but questions remain
ReutersBy Luke Baker and Julien Toyer | Reuters – OCT 28,11
BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The euro and stocks rallied on Thursday after European leaders struck a deal to provide debt relief for Greece, but analysts warned the plan would fail to halt the euro zone's two-year-old debt crisis unless crucial details were resolved soon. After a summit in Brussels, governments announced an agreement under which private banks and insurers would accept 50 percent losses on their Greek debt holdings in the latest bid to reduce Athens' massive debt load to sustainable levels.
Reached after more than eight hours of hard-nosed negotiations between bankers, heads of state and the IMF, the deal also foresees a recapitalization of hard-hit European banks and a leveraging of the bloc's rescue fund, the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), to give it firepower of 1.0 trillion euros ($1.4 trillion).European stocks surged to a 12-week high and the euro shot above $1.40 to reach its top level against the dollar in seven weeks following the deal, which had appeared at risk due to deep differences between Berlin and Paris.
But economists noted that key aspects of the deal, including the mechanics of boosting the EFSF and providing Greek debt relief, would take weeks to pin down, meaning the plan could still unravel over the details. There is plenty of room to doubt whether each of the key aspects of the package will deliver within its own space, said Malcolm Barr, an economist at J.P. Morgan. The hope of EU policy makers is that the whole will be perceived as more than the sum of its rather questionable parts.Three months ago, euro zone leaders unveiled another agreement that was meant to draw a line under the debt woes that threaten to tear apart the 12-year old currency bloc. But they realized within weeks that it was inadequate given the depth of Greece's economic problems and the vulnerability of their banks. The new deal aims to address these holes.
ABSOLUTELY SUSTAINABLE
Under it, the private sector agreed to voluntarily accept a nominal 50 percent cut in its bond investments to reduce Greece's debt burden by 100 billion euros, cutting its debts to 120 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) by 2020, from 160 percent now.The euro zone will offer credit enhancements or sweeteners to the private sector totaling 30 billion euros. The aim is to complete negotiations on the package by the end of the year, so Greece has a full, second financial aid program in place before 2012.The value of that package, EU sources said, would be 130 billion euros -- up from 109 billion euros in the July deal. The debt is absolutely sustainable now, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou said in Brussels after the deal was struck. Greece can settle its accounts from the past now, once and for all.A top lawyer for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association said that because banks had agreed to accept the losses, the deal was unlikely to trigger a credit event in which default insurance contracts would be paid out.In a bid to convince markets that they can prevent larger countries like Italy and Spain from being swept up by the crisis, euro zone leaders also agreed to scale up the EFSF, the 440 billion euro bailout fund that they have already used to provide help to Ireland, Portugal and Greece.Around 250 billion euro remaining in the fund will be leveraged 4-5 times, producing a headline figure of around 1.0 trillion euros, which will be deployed in a variety of ways.
The EFSF will be leveraged in two ways, either by offering insurance, or first-loss guarantees, to purchasers of euro zone debt in the primary market, or via a special purpose investment vehicle that will be set up in the coming weeks and which is aimed at attracting investment from China and Brazil. The methods could be combined, giving the EFSF greater flexibility, the euro zone leaders said. But EU finance ministers are not expected to agree on the nitty-gritty elements of how the scaled up EFSF will work until some time in November, with the exact date not fixed. There is also concern about Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's commitment to implementing reforms seen as crucial for restoring confidence in the bloc's third largest economy.Dogged by scandals, Berlusconi has promised to raise the retirement age to 67 by 2026 and attempt other reforms, but the EU is reserving judgment.
SARKOZY TO TALK TO HU
Japan and Canada welcomed the euro zone agreement. China's official Xinhua news agency said the outcome was positive but filled with difficulties.
A spokeswoman for China's foreign ministry confirmed that President Hu Jintao would speak with French President Nicolas Sarkozy by phone later. An EU source told Reuters the conversation would center on Beijing's possible participation in the bailout fund.Beijing has so far been a big buyer of bonds issued by the EFSF, which is triple-A rated by credit agencies. As with the July 21 agreement, the concern is that Thursday's deal will only work if the fine print can be promptly agreed with the private sector, represented by the Institute of International Finance (IIF).
Charles Dallara, the managing director of the IIF, said those he represented were committed to making the deal work.We believe (bank take-up) is likely to be very, very high, Dallara said on Thursday. All parties recognized not only that the future of Greece but also the future of Europe and the future of the world economy was at stake.Josef Ackermann, chairman of the IIF and CEO of Germany's largest bank Deutsche Bank, described it as an acceptable compromise.Alongside the hit to the private sector, euro zone leaders agreed the banking sector needs recapitalizing to the tune of around 106 billion euros.German sources told Reuters that four German lenders -- NordLB, LBBW, Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank -- would be asked to shore up their capital. Three leading French banks ruled out the need for government help in meeting tougher capital requirements. While the headlines look good, the devil is in the details, said Damien Boey, equity strategist at Credit Swisse in Sydney. We don't actually know how they are planning to increase the bail-out fund size from 440 billion euros to a trillion. On top of that, there are some questions as to whether one trillion euros in itself is enough. There were corporate doubters, too. Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell said it planned to curb its investments in the European Union in future due to doubts about the bloc's chances of recovering from the crisis.
Europe's macroeconomic position can only recover and the sovereign debt crisis can only be addressed through underlying economic growth, Simon Henry, chief financial officer, told reporters on a conference call on Thursday. We do not see the European Union creating the conditions for that, in fact quite the opposite, he said.(Additional reporting by Julien Toyer, Jan Strupczewski, Yann Le Guernigou, David Brunnstrom, Robin Emmott, Harry Papachristou and John O'Donnell in Brussels, Annika Breidthardt and Sarah Marsh in Berlin, Daniel Flynn in Athens, Barry Moody in Rome, Tom Bergin in London; Writing by Noah Barkin, Luke Baker and Mike Peacock; Editing by Ruth Pitchford)
Bank's Fisher sees strong chance of another recession
ReutersBy Michael Holden | Reuters – OCT 28,11
LONDON (Reuters) - Bank of England policymaker Paul Fisher said on Thursday Britain could quite easily suffer another recession and that more asset purchases might be needed after the current round is completed.Although Britain's last recession ended in mid-2009, the economy has barely grown over the last 12 months. Unemployment has started to rise again and consumers are cutting spending as soaring prices, higher taxes and slow wage increases hit their pockets.Fisher, the central bank's executive director for markets, said that a new recession could not be ruled out.I think it is a significant chance. Looking at Q4 for example, at best it seems likely to be flat, could easily have negative growth, so the technical outcome of two quarters of negative growth in a row could quite easily come about, he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.Fisher's fellow policymaker Adam Posen, who had been lobbying for more quantitative easing for the past year, also struck a downbeat tone on the economy.
I'm glad the committee has decided to recognise the British economy is cratering and we have a responsibility to do something about it, Posen told the Independent newspaper in an interview, adding that growth was set to remain very weak.I'm saying roughly 0.5 (percent) or below for 2011 and 0.5 (percent) or above for 2012, he said, giving a forecast that is well below the average prediction of 1.0 percent growth for this year and 1.3 percent for next in a Reuters poll.A survey among retailers from the Confederation of British Industry highlighted the weakness in consumption as retail sales in October continued to fall albeit at a slightly slower pace than in the previous months. The central bank has launched a second round of asset purchases worth 75 billion pounds to try to stimulate growth. It has also kept interest rates at a record low of 0.5 percent, where they have stood since March 2009.It takes some time to purchase these large scales of assets, so we think the four months running up to February is a sensible period of time to buy 75 billion, Fisher said. And when we get to that point we can stop and see whether or not we think we need to go further.Fisher said in a separate text interview with Bloomberg that he had voted for 75 billion pounds because he was sure that the bank would have to do at least 75 billion of easing.Bank justifies QE on the basis that inflation has probably already peaked at September's three-year high of 5.2 percent, and that without QE it is likely to undershoot its 2 percent target in the medium term due to weaker global growth.
EASING INFLATION
Like Governor Mervyn King and other Bank policymakers before, Fisher said inflation should fall back significantly early next year when one-off factors like an increase in value-added tax fall out of the equation. We were previously forecasting inflation to fall back on the central projection somewhere between 1.5 and 2 percent, looking 2 or 3 years ahead, Fisher said. It is likely that without building in the effect from restarting the asset purchase program, we would have had a significantly lower inflation forecast. While noting the uncertainties for the outlook, Fisher saw the biggest danger in inflation falling too far. The big risk for us is that a significantly weak economy would push us back into deflation and that's the really tricky problem to get out of once you get there, he said. With the government's hands tied by its pledge to erase a budget deficit of some 10 percent over the next 5 years, the onus to boost growth has been on Bank.I think that the overall combination of a tight fiscal policy and loose monetary policy is the right one for the country at the moment, Fisher said.Bank policymaker said Britain was viewed as a safe haven by investors. If people did not have confidence in the UK, you would not see gilt yields as low, Fisher said. I take some comfort from the stability of sterling.Fisher also said that Britain's banks were in a better position than a year or two ago to weather the risks stemming from the euro debt crisis. They've got big improvements in their capital base, big improvements in their liquidity; they've been deleveraging their balance sheets, he said.(Reporting by Michael Holden; editing by Stephen Nisbet)
Rainbow of religious leaders join pope for peace
APBy NICOLE WINFIELD - Associated Press | AP – OCT 28,11
ASSISI, Italy (AP) — Buddhist monks, Muslim imams, Yoruba leaders and a handful of agnostics traveled with Pope Benedict XVI to the Umbrian hilltown of Assisi on Thursday to make a communal call for peace and insist that religion must not be used as a pretext for war.The event was designed to commemorate the 25th anniversary of a daylong prayer for peace called by Pope John Paul II in 1986 amid Cold War conflicts in dozens of countries. Some 300 delegates representing a rainbow of faiths answered Benedict's invitation, though the event lacked the star power of 1986 when the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Native American chiefs and others came together to pray.Traditional Catholics condemned the meeting as they did in 1986, saying it was blasphemy for the pope to invite leaders of false religions to pray to their Gods for peace. The Society of St. Pius X, a breakaway traditionalist group which Benedict has been working to bring back into Rome's fold, said it would be celebrating 1,000 Masses to atone for the damage done by the event and urged the pope to use the occasion to urge others to convert to Catholicism.
The pope did no such thing. But Benedict too objected to the 1986 event and didn't go, disapproving of members of different faiths praying in the presence of one another. His 25th anniversary edition stripped away all communal public prayer in an attempt to remove any whiff of syncretism, or the combining of different beliefs and practices. The Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, one of the first speakers in the opening session of the peace meeting, said the delegates weren't gathered there to come to a minimum common ground of belief.Rather, he said, the meeting would show the world that through their distinctiveness, different faiths provide the wisdom to draw upon in the struggle against the foolishness of a world still obsessed with fear and suspicion, still in love with the idea of a security based on active hostility, and still capable of tolerating or ignoring massive loss of life among the poorest through war and disease. And there was a lot of distinctiveness on hand: Standing on the altar of St. Mary of the Angels basilica, Wande Abimbola of Nigeria, representing Africa's traditional Yoruba religion, sang and shook a percussion instrument as he told the delegates that peace can only come with greater respect for indigenous religions. We must always remember that our own religion, along with the religions practiced by other people, are valid and precious in the eyes of the Almighty, who created all of us with such plural and different ways of life and belief systems, he said.A group of four Buddhists from mainland China took their places in the basilica, significant given the recent Sino-Vatican tensions over the appointments of Catholic bishops in the country. They came from Henan's Shaolin temple, famous for its kung fu-fighting monks. And in another novelty, Benedict invited four people who profess no faith whatsoever — part of his outreach to the world of agnostics and atheists who nevertheless are searching for truth.
Other invitees included Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I and representatives from Greek, Russian, Serbian and Belarusian Orthodox churches as well as Lutheran, Methodist and Baptist leaders. Several rabbis were joined by some 60 Muslims, a half-dozen Hindus and Shinto believers, three Taoists, three Jains and a Zoroastrian.
They all traveled together on a special papal train that left early Thursday from the Vatican's train station. The delegates are to eat a spare lunch together, have time for silent, private prayer before coming together in the afternoon to make a joint call for peace. They'll return together via train Thursday night and have a special audience with Benedict Friday.

GREECE LOSES SOVEREIGNTY OVER BAILOUT

Eurozone chiefs reach deal with bank bosses on Greek haircut Today OCT 27,11 @ 05:27 By Leigh Phillips
BRUSSELS - Eurozone leaders have reached a deal with the world’s major banks under which they will accept a haircut of 50 percent on their holdings of Greek sovereign debt. The world's banks eventually agreed to accept a haircut of 50 percent on their Greek holdings (Photo: andres rueda)Early Thursday (27 October) morning, EU Presidents Herman van Rompuy and Jose Manuel Barroso announced that an agreement had finally been hammered out with the Institute for International Finance, the association representing the sector, after hours of stonewalling by the banks, who had refused to accept a write-down of Greek bonds exceeding 40 percent. It was agreed tonight there will be a nominal discount of 50 percent of notional Greek debt, a weary Van Rompuy told reporters just after 4am in the European capital.Earlier in the night, the managing director of the IIF, Charles Dallara, who led negotiations with EU premiers and presidents over the issue, had put out a statement saying bluntly: There is no agreement on any element of a deal.European leaders had been pushing for the banks to accept losses of 60 percent. The International Monetary Fund for its part is understood to have favoured a haircut of 75 percent, arguing that a more substantial write-down was the only way to ensure that Greece’s debt can be held at a sustainable level.Without such a reduction in its debt pile, the Washington-based lender feared that Athens will not indefinitely have to be attached to a drip-feed of bail-outs to keep its economy alive.German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, IMF boss Christine Lagarde and EU Council President Herman van Rompuy met privately with Dallara through the night in a desperate attempt to convince the banking chief to break his stonewalling.
And ultimately, according to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the EU leaders prevailed in pushing up the contribution of the banks. We actually at our level only made one offer. The representatives of the banks took it back to other banks, she told reporters. This was our last offer. In the end we got their approval.Asked whether the EU leaders ever threatened the banks with an imposed haircut, which would have entailed a hard Greek default, she replied: “Since an offer was made, we never hit that point, but clear a voluntary contribution was preferred so we didn't need to think about the other option.Van Rompuy also announced that eurozone leaders had agreed a plan to leverage the area’s rescue fund, the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), to build a firewall of some €1 trillion, although technical details of the plan will not be decided for perhaps another month. The EFSF will now insure against first losses on the issuance of fresh sovereign debt at a level of somewhere between 20 and 30 percent while at the same time establish a number of special purpose investment vehicles, or Spivs, which hopes to attract investment from sovereign wealth funds in China and other emerging economies, and will also involve additional participation of the International Monetary Fund. Both aspects of the reinforcement of the EFSF will multiply up to five-fold the firepower of the EFSF,he said, depending on market conditions, the set-up and investors’ responsiveness in view of economic policies.
Germany makes Greece pay with sovereignty for new bail-out Today OCT 26,11 @ 05:51 By Valentina Pop
BRUSSELS - Greek sovereignty was further undermined by eurozone leaders on Thursday (27 October), as Germany demanded a durable supervision on the ground of its economic policy-making under the terms of a second €130 billion bail-out.The new rescue package, which comes with a 50 percent debt cut by private lenders and is to run until 2020, will include a monitoring capacity on the ground instead of current visits every three months by the troika of European Commission, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and European Central Bank lenders, the summit communique said. The aim of the mission will be to advise and offer assistance in order to ensure the timely and full implementation of the reforms.German Chancellor Angela Merkel pushed for the permanent presence instead of the current set-up, which sees the troika coming and going every three months, she told journalists after the meeting. As an afterthought, the leaders in their joint statement also referred to the EU commission-led task force of 25 experts who shuttle back and forth between Brussels and Athens and whose declared mission is also to help the government with reforms and tax collection. We fully support the task force on technical assistance set up by the commission, the summit declaration said.On Wednesday, the head of the task force briefed journalists in Athens and defended the legitimacy of his unit, which had been formally asked for by the Greek Prime Minister Papandreou earlier this summer after EU commission chief Barroso and EU leaders convinced him to do so.
Papandreou also freely asked for the permanent troika, according to the summit conclusions.Speaking to media on Thursday morning, Papandreou was thankful for the second bail-out and said that a default last year would have been worse than the 50-percent debt restructuring planned for January. We were guinea pigs for these bail-outs. We had to implement tough fiscal policies, we claimed European solutions, he said. But there was no bad blood towards Merkel, at least in public statements.
What the chancellor said fully complies with our position, we will be responsible in the implementation of this agreement. This will make a different country: more viable, more transparent,he said. The country that has been lending us money wishes that we succeed and we request their support. I would like them to be with us when there are issues and have discussions about it then, not three months later. But ultimately, he stressed, nobody would be responsible for rebuilding the country other than the Greek people, parliament and government.
Barroso to make sure Berlusconi keeps promises
Today OCT 27,11 @ 06:19 By Andrew Rettman
BRUSSELS - Eurozone leaders have in a public paper and in private talks tasked the European Commission with keeping Italy to a laundry list of promises on economic reform.Berlusconi: It is unclear what sanctions if any the commission has to keep him to his word (Photo: ec.europa.eu)The euro summit declaration, published in the small hours of Thursday (27 October), devoted four paragraphs to recording what Italian leader Silvo Berlusconi earlier told peers he would do to stop Rome going bust. The euro declaration added: We invite the commission to provide a detailed assessment of the measures and to monitor their implementation, and the Italian authorities to provide in a timely way all the information necessary for such an assessment.Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso in the post-summit press briefing read out Italy's main pledges - such as balancing the budget by 2013 - and noted that Berlusconi is also bound by personal remarks made behind closed doors. The spirit of the meeting was clear - we had good exchanges about this with the prime minister of Italy and there was a very clear insistence of all the participants on the need to have concrete implementations of the agreed objectives, Barroso said. The commission in a troika with the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank (ECB) already monitors economic policy in euro-countries with bail-outs - Greece, Ireland and Portugal. But its solo role on Italy is comparable only to monitoring of Bulgaria and Romania on anti-corruption reforms.Commission spokesman Olivier Bailly on Thursday underlined the novel nature of the arrangement, saying: This is a first for monitoring a country not in a [EU-IMF] programme. This is enormous.Italy and its €1.8 trillion debt is at the centre of market worries over eurozone stability.Fear of an Italian default forced leaders on Thursday to boost the capacity of the EU's rescue fund, the EFSF, to €1 trillion. It also prompted French President Nicolas Sarkozy to schedule a call with China's Wen Jibao to ask him for help and saw the ECB promise it will keep buying Italian bonds for now.It remains unclear how the commission will actually hold Berlusconi to his word, however.
The Italian premier on the eve of the summit shot off a press release saying nobody in the EU can appoint themselves as supervisors or give lessons to Rome. His eccentric style was also on show on Sunday when he demanded live on TV that Italy's man on the ECB board make way for a French candidate in a reshuffle. I don't know if the TV is the best way to send out such a message, but okay. Please don't ask me any more about Italian politics,Sarkozy told media on Thursday.Even if Italy's septuagenerian playboy means what he says, his coalition partners, the nationalist Northern League, signed up to hiking the retirement age under extreme protest. Volatility in Rome was again on show on Wednesday when MPs threw punches at each other in parliament over pensions reform.Leading Italian daily La Repubblica the same day wrote that Berlusconi will step down in December or January, adding another layer of uncertainty. But the government denied the report.
Banks stonewall EU leaders on haircut
Today OCT 27,11 @ 02:34 By Leigh Phillips
BRUSSELS - Negotiations between EU leaders and representatives of the global banking industry over the scale of losses the financial institutions are willing to take on their holdings of Greek sovereign debt have all but broken down.As the EU awaits market openings with trepidation with still no deal on a resolution to the eurozone crisis in sight, in the end it is not Franco-German divisions, the stability of the government in Italy or the commitment of Greece to implement austerity, but the refusal of the world’s banks to accept deeper write-downs on their exposure to Hellenic debt that could be the straw that breaks the European camel’s back. The managing director of the Washington-based Institute for International Finance (IIF), the association representing the sector, Charles Dallara, who is leading negotiations with EU premiers and presidents over the issue, late on Wednesday (26 October) put out a statement saying no agreement has been reached. There has been no agreement on any Greek deal or a specific haircut,Dallara said, stealing a public relations march on European leaders who have remained largely silent as talks progress. We remain open to a dialogue in search of a voluntary agreement. There is no agreement on any element of a deal.It is understood that the IIF bluntly told leaders they would accept nothing higher than a 40 percent write-down. France and Germany are pushing for a haircut of 50 percent.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) for its part has said that a cut of 70-75 percent may be needed if Greece’s debt is to be held at a sustainable level so that Athens will not indefinitely have to be attached to a drip-feed of bail-outs to keep its economy alive.EU leaders had promised that a comprehensive solution would be delivered last Sunday, only to be forced to admit that such a plan could not be agreed until Wednesday of this week due to differences between core European powers.
As of the early hours of Thursday morning, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, IMF boss Christine Lagarde and EU Council President Herman van Rompuy had locked themselves in a room in the European Council building in Brussels with Dallara in a desperate attempt to convince the banking chief to give ground. The two other big planks of a comprehensive solution to the eurozone debt crisis - a bank recapitalisation of around €110 billion and the modalities and scale of a boost to the eurozone’s rescue fund - have been agreed at the summit, however.Eurozone leaders backed a plan to boost the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) to some €1 trillion, although technical details of the plan will not be decided for perhaps another month. The EFSF will now insure against first losses on the issuance of fresh sovereign debt at a level of somewhere between 20 and 30 percent. It will at the same time establish a number of special purpose investment vehicles, or Spivs, which will hope to attract investment from sovereign wealth funds in China and other emerging economies, and will also involve additional participation of the International Monetary Fund.
EU officials do not rule out third summit this weekend 26.10.11 @ 15:38 By Leigh Phillips
With negotiations ahead of Wednesday evening's (23 October) EU and eurozone summits in chaos, EU officials have confirmed that yet another EU emergency summit may be called this weekend.A senior figure close to the discussions told EUobserver: Nothing has been decided yet. The idea has been put out there to put the frighteners on some of the actors to encourage a deal today.Separately, an official in the cabinet of EU Council President Herman Van Rompuy, when asked if another summit will be called, said only there is no news ... there is a summit today. We'll see.The bare bones of an agreement may be delivered at the end of the Wednesday or weekend summit, with the technical details to be decided at a lower level in the following days. There was technical work to be done upstream and there will be technical work to be done downstream,Olivier Bailly, a spokesman for the European Commission told reporters on Wednesday.Convergence has been reached on the scale of a second bail-out of Europe’s banks - somewhere in the range of €110 billion. But agreement is still far off on two other key elements of a comprehensive solution - the size of a haircut on bank holdings of Greek public debt and how to boost the firepower of the eurozone's rescue fund, the EFSF.
For their part, diplomats are becoming increasingly exasperated. One gloomy figure told this website: I'm tired of it all. I just want to get out of here. They have to realise we're talking about the destruction of Europe here.Another downcast individual said: Whether it'll be enough is perhaps a bit on the hopeful side. There's not much optimism in the air with so many obstacles.Describing the situation as chaotic, he added there is a network of parallel discussions and negotiations going on in capitals, here in Brussels, at all different kinds of levels. It's such a complex thing.
Banks playing hardball
Fury at the position of the Institute for International Finance, the trade association of the world’s banks, is bubbling over, with one EU official noting that the banks have already been bailed out to the tune of €4.6 trillion. The IIF is thought to be refusing to budge from a maximum of a 40 percent haircut while the EU is pushing for between 50 and 60 percent. There is frustration at all levels, the contact said of the IIF. They’re playing hardball. So much of the grand bargain in the offing depends on the willingness of European and international banks to accept a substantial but voluntary haircut on their holdings of public debt. The imposition of a write-down would be viewed as a default, with unforeseen consequences on world markets. The International Monetary Fund for its part, which has consistently taken a harder line on the banks than the EU and the European Central Bank throughout the crisis, is not ruling out the need for a haircut as high as 75 percent, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. If you were a bank and you saw Europe on the edge, what would you do? You hold all the cards, said one diplomat regarding the discussions with the banking association.
Two-shirter expected
EUobserver spoke to a range of EU officials to gauge their hopes for the evening. All paint a grim picture of the ad hoc organisation behind the scenes, saying they are unclear who is responsible for circulating information. It's difficult. Anyone who says it's gonna be a cake-walk is lying through their teeth, said the most optimistic of the characters interviewed. But when the crisis is big, big things happen.Even this individual said that he was prepared for the meeting to go through the night and into Thursday morning: I've brought a clean shirt and have two bananas at the office so I can last.
EU task force in Athens denies harming Greek sovereignty 26.10.11 @ 20:30 By Valentina Pop
Brussels - The EU task force advising the Greek government on reforms demanded by international lenders defended its legitimacy on Wednesday (26 October), saying it is not eroding the country's sovereignty, just hours after Germany demanded permanent foreign supervision of Athens.Headed by a German EU official, Horst Reichenbach, the 25-strong task force was launched on 20 July, just one day ahead of an EU summit paving the way for a second Greek bail-out under strict reform demands notably from Germany, the largest contributor to the eurozone lifelines.Speaking to media in Athens on Wednesday, Reichenbach set out areas his team is focusing on: health care and public administration reforms, tax collection and increased spending of EU structural funds.Amid reports of shortages of medicine, hospital equipment and blood, the German official said his team was ready to help the Greek health ministry in reducing the expenditure for pharmaceuticals because Greece has much higher expenditure for pharma than other member states.Reichenbach insisted that his work was not to rubberstamp or criticise plans by the Greek ministers, but to facilitate expertise and help from the EU commission and member states. For instance, experts from France and Germany could help Greek magistrates in changing the system so as to accelerate court cases, he said.Clearly, concerns about sovereignty should be taken seriously,he said in response to a question. The justification of the task force lies in the fact that the Prime Minister of Greece has asked for such support from the European Commission,he explained. If it had been the commission who took the initiative and imposed it on Greece I would feel much less convinced this is the way to go ahead,he added.
The task force was however a plan floated by EU commission chief Barroso and supported by the 23-24 June European council consultations with Prime Minister Papandreou, according to a statement by the EU commission itself.Earlier on Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel spelled out her vision for the future in Greece: even more foreign supervision. It's not enough that the troika [EU-IMF-ECB] comes and goes every three months. It would be desirable to have a permanent supervision in Greece, she told the Bundestag before flying to Brussels where she intended to bring this up.A spokesman for the Greek mission in Brussels refused to comment on the Merkel statements and only said that the EU task force was asked for by his Prime Minister.
Merkel wants permanent supervision of Greece, warns of war 26.10.11 @ 15:31 By Valentina Pop
Brussels - Peace should not be taken for granted if the euro fails, German chancellor Merkel told MPs Wednesday (26 October) ahead of the eurozone summit where an increase of the bail-out fund firepower may lead to Germany's own state assets being taken as collateral. In a dark blue jacket reflecting the mood in and about the eurozone, Merkel abandoned her usual cautious rhetoric warned outright of a war.
Nobody should take for granted another 50 years of peace and prosperity in Europe. They are not for granted. That's why I say: If the euro fails, Europe fails, Merkel said, followed by a long applause from all political groups. We have a historical obligation: To protect by all means Europe's unification process begun by our forefathers after centuries of hatred and blood spill. None of us can foresee what the consequences would be if we were to fail.It cannot be that sometime in the future they say the political generation responsible for Europe in the second decade of the 21 century has failed in the face of history, the chancellor continued. She was asking for the parliament's political green light on a negotiation mandate for the EU summit, beginning later today in Brussels. The summit is seeking to increase the firepower of the €440 billion-strong European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) to stop the sovereign debt crisis spreading to countries like Italy and ultimately, France. The Bundestag approved the measure by a large majority, with 503 members in favour, 89 opposing and four abstaining.
German risks
While stressing that Germany's contribution to the EFSF loan guarantees would continue to be capped at €211 billion, she said she could not exclude there may be risks for Germany linked to the EFSF increase of firepower. Her own party colleagues had demanded that she clearly excludes German state assets, such as the central bank's gold reserves, to be put as collateral for the EFSF lending power.Nobody can clearly estimate if there will be such risks. What I can say is that we cannot exclude it,she said, insisting that the current situation is pushing European leaders into uncharted territories. Not to take these risks would be irresponsible. There is no better and more sensible alternative. Europe and the world are looking at Germany, the chancellor said.Looking ahead to the summit, the chancellor repeated her long-standing stance that there is no silver bullet, no simple solutions. We will still deal with these topics for years from now.She repeated her insistence that the EU treaty had to be changed, in the medium term, to be more strict on countries breaching the euro deficit rules.Where does it say that any treaty change has to take 10 years or that there should be no more changes after the Lisbon Treaty, she asked.EU leaders last Sunday agreed to have an evaluation presented to them in December by council chief Herman Van Rompuy about the possibility for a limited treaty change.
Permanent supervision for Greece
On the three euro-countries currently propped by EU-IMF loans, Merkel said Ireland was on the right path, Portugal showed it could implement the promised reforms, while Greece was still at the beginning of a long road. For the first time, as opposition MPs noted later on in the debate, Merkel had words of praise for the ordinary Greek citizens feeling the brunt of the austerity measures demanded by international lenders. People in Greece have to stomach a lot of sacrifices. They deserve our respect and also a sustainable growth perspective in the eurozone.According to the latest report of the so-called troika, consisting of experts sent from the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund, Greece will need even higher debt restructuring and losses for private lenders compared to what EU leaders had agreed upon on 21 July.
But debt restructuring alone does not solve the problem. Painful structural reforms have to be made, otherwise even after debt restructuring we're back to where we are today,Merkel warned.
That's why, she said, Greece would have to be assisted for quite some time. It's not enough that the troika comes and goes every three months. It would be desirable to have a permanent supervision in Greece, she said, adding that this issue would be brought up at the summit. In return for what seems to be an unprecedented sovereignty loss in an old EU member state, Merkel promised German investments and mentioned a meeting of local representatives from Germany and Greece in the coming weeks. We want Greece to be back on its feet again as soon as possible and will do everything we can to this end, she concluded. Her junior coalition party, the Liberal Free Democrats (FDP), had less sympathy for Greece, however. Rainer Bruederle, leader of the FDP group, said that the troika had given Athens a D and that nobody expects Greece to turn into an A student over night, as it was now just like eastern-European transition countries 20 years ago.Sticking to the teacher-pupil metaphor, Bruederle urged Greeks to do their homework and said the country could not be funded endlessly like a bottomless pit.The leftist opposition was outraged, with Die Linke leader Gregor Gysi pointing out that austerity has forced 27,000 small and medium enterprises to go bankrupt in Greece and that teachers earn as little as €1,000 a month. What more do you want from them? Do you want them to starve to death? he said.
Promo Video For DHS-Backed Spy Street Lights Pulled From You Tube-Company gets nervous after creepy Intellistreets concept exposed by Drudge Report Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com Wednesday, October 26, 2011
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qw10eKxaSDY&feature=player_embedded
The company behind a Department of Homeland Security-funded project to install street lights that double as sophisticated surveillance devices pulled its promo video for Intellistreets from You Tube hours after our article drawing attention to the issue was linked on the popular Drudge Report website.
You Tube
Having initially disabled comments on the You Tube clip, Illuminating Concepts yanked the video entirely this afternoon, presumably nervous about the negative publicity that could be generated from concerns about new high-tech street lights being used for Homeland Security purposes – their words, not ours. However, having gone to the trouble of putting together a promotional video for their product, and having already started installing the system in the city of Farmington Hills, Michigan with the aid of federal funding, the fact that the company attempted to prevent people learning about the Homeland Security applications for the street lights speaks volumes. If Intellistreets is such a cutting edge concept that presents an array of wonderful benefits, as the promo video claims, then why remove it from You Tube? It’s almost like a kid getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar.Now that the company has tried to hide the video, it will only generate more suspicion about the true purpose behind Intellistreets and the level of involvement on behalf of Homeland Security. As we documented earlier today, Intellistreets is even more frightening a concept than the DHS-funded surveillance cameras that have blanketed America. Not only does this system have video surveillance capabilities, it also includes audio sensors and speaker systems that will be used by authorities to promote civic awareness, presumably in the same vein as Homeland Security’s telescreens in Wal-Mart stores that feature a message from Janet Napolitano encouraging Americans to spy on each other and report suspicious activity.Using street lights as Minority Report-style broadcasting platforms for advertising and government propaganda also dovetails with the Obama administration’s agenda to have complete control over communications by means of the Emergency Alert System and the program to have all new cell phones display mandatory emergency messages from the federal government by next year. You can still watch a duplicate of the video for Intellistreets below (until that too is pulled). The video is also still available on the company’s website.

Do you want them to starve to death? he said.

The chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, which oversees the TSA, has asserted that the release of a classified report on TSA security failures will renew calls for the replacement of the agency with private airport security personnel. The failure rate (for body scanning equipment) is classified but it would absolutely knock your socks off, Florida Republican, Rep. John L. Mica told reporters during a briefing Monday.Mica also asserted that recorded instances of pat downs failing to detect contraband are off the charts. This information is also currently still classified, but is due to be released within weeks as part of an upcoming committee report on the TSA’s first decade.Mica suggested that the TSA’s performance report would read sort of like the record of the Marx Brothers. The TSA has withheld results of its official security tests, despite repeated requests to release the information under the Freedom of Information Act.The Department of Homeland Security has classified the results of the most recent random, covert red team tests, where undercover agents try to see what they can get past airport security. The reason they have done so, according to MIca, is because the results have been so shockingly and consistently bad for the past nine years.
Mica further slammed the TSA Monday, ripping into the agency’s latest experimental security chat down procedure. The chairman referred to the pilot program of behaviour detection being tested at Boston Logan airport as an idiotic mess.Describing the program as a poor man’s version of Israeli interrogation security techniques, Mica noted that that the pilot is merely an extension of an already existing program that the Government Accountability Office concluded had little scientific credibility and had cost a quarter billion in hiring additional TSA officers. This is no joke, Mica told reporters at the briefing, adding that he had personally visited Logan airport and witnessed first hand the failures of the program.I put my ear up and listened to some idiotic questions, Mica said of the chat down procedure, also noting that TSA officers expressed a lack of understanding of the program they had supposedly been trained to engage in.I talked to them about their training, which was minimal,Mica said, adding It’s almost idiotic… It’s still not a risk-based system. It’s not a thinking system. The program is set to be beta tested in Detroit next, before being rolled out nationwide.Mica repeatedly argued that the TSA’s role at airports could be undertaken in a more efficient and less costly manner by private companies, albeit ultimately still under the supervision of the federal government.Back in March, the Congressman charged that the TSA intentionally fixed data to ensure that federal workers were employed to screen airport passengers, rather than private contractors.TSA cooked the books to try to eliminate the federal-private screening program, said Mica at the time. The Congressman was referring to revelations from federal auditors that cost differentials between federal employees and private contractors were overstated by the TSA.Though the agency contends it was an error, The TSA made it appear that it was more cost effective for airports to use federal government workers for security by increasing the costs for private-contractor screeners relative to federal screeners, government auditors wrote.
The 2001 Aviation Transportation Security Act, which created the TSA, contained an option written in by Congress allowing airports to choose between using TSA workers and private screeners. It is known as the Security Partnership Program (SPP).
Currently, sixteen airports throughout the country use private contractors under the SPP, however, the TSA has since actively prevented other airports from joining the program, as more and more express an interest in dropping the federal workforce in wake of an epidemic of TSA scandals and failures.Mica, who helped create the TSA after 9/11, has repeatedly stated that he believes the agency is now completely out of control and believes it should be radically reformed.

Beck: EAS Test Allows Feds to Seize Control of Communications-For the first time, broadcasters will have no choice on whether to partake in the nationwide alert Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com Tuesday, October 25, 2011
Radio host Glenn Beck has spoken of his fear that the upcoming Emergency Alert System test being conducted by Homeland Security and FEMA on November 9 gives the government the pretext to seize control of communications in America, because for the first time broadcasters will have no choice on whether to partake.Beck explained that in every previous instance where the EAS system was tested, broadcasters were in control of whether or not to flip the switch, although they did face losing their broadcast license if they failed to partake. However, for the very first time, the federal government will have complete control over the broadcast frequency and will be able to override all radio and television stations.Next month’s test also marks the first time that the alert has been conducted nationwide. The nationwide test may last up to three and a half minutes. The public will hear a message indicating that This is a test. The audio message will be the same for radio, television and cable, states a FEMA press release.Beck warned that the first of its kind test gave the government the pretext to take over all civilian communication outlets under the guise of a national emergency. If the state wants to take control…they can just take it and there is nothing I can do about it, Beck stated, adding that the process seizes control of the broadcast frequency.
Beck questioned the timing of the test, asking why it was being conducted in the middle of a work day at 2pm and not at midnight on a Saturday. Why are we testing this thing at 2pm on a Wednesday when we don’t even know if this damn thing will work – who does that? asked Beck, drawing attention to the fact that FEMA has indicated it isn’t even sure whether television broadcasts will display a message or not during the test.Who takes the nation’s communications and shuts it down in the middle of a work day on a Wednesday when the whole world is in revolution? That doesn’t help calm things, Mr. President, said Beck. The fact that the government has also chosen a date which is the reverse of 9/11 (the 9th of November being 11/9), is also unlikely to reduce anxiety surrounding the test.
Report: Anarchists Collecting Intelligence for Terrorists-Yehuda Hendler of the Esh Kodesh community says anarchists are gathering intelligence for terrorists in Yesha. By Gavriel Queenann First Publish: 10/25/2011, 11:12 PM
Foreign and Israeli anarchists are helping terrorists to gather intelligence, Yehudah Hendler of Esh Kodesh said in an interview with Arutz Sheva. The anarchists, he said, help Arabs from Palestinian Authority enclaves to force their way into Jewish towns, ostensibly to harvest olives – an activity that has served as cover for terrorism on past occasions, he said. The murderers of five members of the Fogel family used the olive harvest as an excuse to gather information on the victims’ town and to plan their attack, Hendel noted.Experience shows that they come together with the terrorists to gather intelligence before the attack. Today we know that the two killers of the Fogel family arrived during the olive harvest to gather information on penetration into the community, Hendler said. Now these people are bringing terrorists to more towns in order to help them carry out attacks, Hendel declared. Their claims that they came to harvest olives are lies, they harvested from old and sick trees and barely had a single bucket of olives after three hours.
Last Friday, hundreds of Palestinians came to our region to harvest in our communities - accompanied by the anarchists, Hendler explained. This was done without necessary military coordination, and any uncoordinated incursion could be prove to be life-threatening.Hendler said he hoped the IDF would take the necessary steps to avoid walkabouts by Anarchists and potential terrorists in Jewish communities. We went down to where they were and asked them to leave, and they did leave. But we hope that the army will be more decisive in the future. We feel that the army does not react strongly enough to these provocations and need to actively block entry to our community.Several anarchist groups, such as ISM and its affiliates, have allied themselves with the Palestinian cause. Many endorse armed struggle [terrorism -ed.] against Israel, while at once claiming to be rights activists or opposed to violence.Their activities frequently include entering closed military zones, harrassing Jewish residents and soliders in Judea and Samaria, setting fire to Jewish orchards and vinyards, interfering with counter-terrorism operations, knowingly distributing food and money to known terrorists, and vandalizing IDF materials and vehicles.

German parliament to vote on euro measures ahead of summit 25.10.11 @ 09:29 By Valentina Pop
Brussels - The German parliament will on Wednesday (26 October) vote on the government's negotiating mandate for the eurozone bail-out fund, just hours before Chancellor Angela Merkel is to attend yet another EU crisis summit in the European capital. It is the first time the Bundestag will vote on the content of a euro-rescue package before the deal is actually sealed among EU leaders. The new powers follow a key ruling by the German constitutional court last month. The need for a negotiating mandate approved by the Bundestag was one of the reasons Merkel insisted for another first in EU history: a two-part summit on Sunday and Wednesday.Initially, the vote was supposed to be held just in the 41-member budget committee, but Merkel's own Christian Democrats in the House demanded a full debate and vote early Wednesday.
The vote will come just ahead of Merkel's departure to Brussels to attend a meeting with all other 26 EU leaders starting at 5pm, followed by a eurozone-only summit likely to end in the early hours of Thursday morning. The Bundestag is seen as unlikely to block the set of measures - an estimated EU-wide bank recapitalisation of €100 billion, a haircut for Greek bondholders of between 50 and 60 percent and a possible expansion of the firepower of the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) to some €1 trillion - but has irked countries such as Luxembourg, whose premier, Jean-Claude Juncker, criticised Germany for slowing down the decision-making process. But to other observers, the improved scrutiny by German MPs is a welcome democratic oversight in a process that has sacrificed transparency and accountability for the sake of the markets.I can't see this in a negative light because the responsibility of democratically elected MPs to have their say is a very important democratic right that has been underlined several times by the constitutional court in Karlsruhe,German Green MEP Reinhard Buetikofer told this website.German MPs increased powers over the government's EU negotiations will be a change, but not for the worse, he says, because it will force Merkel to be more transparent.Of course if you have a dictator he can take a decision in a second, but democracy takes time. If there was no scrutiny by national parliaments, these issues would have no democratic oversight whatsoever, and that would be extremely deplorable,he said. The Green MEP, who also sits as an observer in the Bundestag's EU affairs committee, said he was confident the vote would pass on Wednesday, although nobody should take any parliament for granted.
Berlusconi: Other EU states in no position to give lessons 25.10.11 @ 09:27 By Leigh Phillips
Other European states are in no position to give lessons to Italy, the country’s prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has said, lashing out at mounting pressure on Rome to bring an end to internal political divisions and push through radical adjustment measures.Italy is under mounting pressure from the rest of Europe to push through austerity and structural adjustment despite fierce domestic opposition (Photo: Alessandro Marotta)Nobody in the union can appoint themselves administrators and speak in the name of elected governments and the peoples of Europe, the Italian leader said in his communique on Monday (24 October). No one is in a position to be giving lessons to their partners. The missive followed a humiliating EU summit in Brussels on Sunday for Berlusconi where the Italian leader was browbeaten behind closed doors for his government’s inability to make good on promises of austerity and an overhaul of the country’s economy.Later, EU presidents, Jose Manuel Barroso of the commission and Herman van Rompuy, of the EU Council, publicly demanded that member states return to Brussels by Wednesday with clear commitments on how they will put their fiscal house in order. While Italy was not mentioned by name, Rome was the intended target of the pointed remarks.A knowing glance and smirk between French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel at a joint press conference on Sunday evening when asked by a reporter if they had faith that Italy would deliver was perhaps the most humbling for Berlusconi.
Newspapers across the country were quick to highlight the shame heaped on Italy by the belittling body language, which told the world much more than any public statement what the EU’s two major powers really think of the state of the country’s governance. The angry letter from Berlusconi’s office went on to say how Italy had already done and is trying to complete what is in both the national and European interest as well as in line with its sense of justice and social fairness. The missive pointed out that the need for a second round of bank bail-outs is particularly a concern for France and Germany. Italian banks for their part are in a safer position than Paris-based financial institutions, which are heavily exposed to Greek debt. The statement was released ahead of an emergency cabinet meeting that despite two hours of discussions ultimately produced little that could assuage Franco-German worries despite Italy's big promises on reform.Cabinet disagreements notably over changes to retirement age remained unresolved, according to domestic sources. The governing party’s key coalition partner, the Northern League, has repeatedly said it will not support a hike in the retirement age from 65 to 67, a warned re-issued on Monday by the party’s parliamentary leader.Following the inconclusive cabinet meeting, Berlusconi continued talks with Northern League ministers and finance minister Giulio Tremonti. In August, the European Central Bank stepped in with massive purchases of Italian and Spanish government bonds in an effort to bring down the cost of borrowing for the two countries. While the programme was initially successful, Italian 10-year bond yield are now close to six percent - within spitting distance of the levels hit in the summer.
New Commander Appointed for Judea and Samaria Division-Brigadier General Hagai Mordechai replaces the controversial Nitzan Alon as head of the IDF's Judea and Samaria Division.By Elad Benari First Publish: 10/26/2011, 3:08 AM
Brigadier General Hagai Mordechai was appointed on Tuesday commander of the IDF Judea and Samaria Division in a special ceremony. The ceremony was held at the division headquarters in Beit El, and conducted by GOC Central Command, Major General Avi Mizrahi. Brig.-Gen Mordechai is replacing Brigadier General Nitzan Alon who held the position for over two years.Brig.-Gen. Hagai Mordechai said during the ceremony, We must look at our reality with our eyes wide-open and understand that the people of Israel need a strong defensive force. A force that will defend with moral values, working according to the tradition of the Jewish people and the tradition and ethical code of the IDF, the spirit of the IDF. An Israeli defense force, leaning on its love of its people, its country and mankind. A force that operates out of commitment to defend its nation. A determined, moral and professional defense force.Alon’s tenure as commander of the Judea and Samaria division was a controversial one, due to his comments against Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria. Most recently, in an interview he gave to The New York Times, Alon expressed concern over increasing violence by radical Israeli settlers, colloquially called price tag operations, which he called Jewish terrorism. He also called on U.S. Congress not to freeze aid to the Palestinian Authority in response to the unilateral PA statehood bid, saying such a step would lead to instability and insecurity - for Israel, although commenting on political issues is not the mandate of IDF personnel.
Previously, Alon distributed a letter to commanders in his division in which he asked them to investigate soldiers who are residents of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. The reason for the request, according to Alon, was a concern that these soldiers may leak information regarding future evacuation of outpost communities. His comments and actions resulted in heavy condemnations by Yesha’s leaders and protests by residents outside his home. IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz condemned the attacks against Alon in an appearance at the Or Etzion yeshiva in July.During Tuesday’s ceremony, Maj.-Gen. Avi Mizrahi praised Alon, calling him a true commander and leader. His professionalism, humility, level-headedness and sharp thinking led the division during a challenging and complex time, and he steered it safely and without hesitation towards achieving its goals with a clear understanding of its main priorities.Mizrahi rejected the criticism directed at Alon, calling it unjustified and condemning it.I find it appropriate to take this opportunity, as you leave this position, to denounce them, including those which were made by senior public officials, who chose to believe rumors, publicly making statements that are far from the truth, Mizrahi told Alon. You are true to your principles and to the policy that was determined for Judea and Samaria,he added. You led the relations with the Israeli communities with sensitivity, yet you demonstrated determination and took no shortcuts.Alon’s leaving of his position was praised by some nationalists on Tuesday, including longtime land of Israel activist Baruch Marzel.Marzel said Alon is the most left-wing commander the IDF has ever had, adding, The political persecution that Brigadier-General Alon created is what pushed people to support price tag.

Protest Movement Attempts to Show It Remains a Potent Force-Attempting to revive the protest movement Dafne Lif caustically attacked the prime minister and politicians at a press conference.By Aryeh ben Hayim First Publish: 10/25/2011, 8:57 PM
Social activist Dafni Leef began warming up the engines in advance of the social protest rallies scheduled to take place at 9 PM following the Sabbath. The main rally will take place in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square with parallel protests taking place in other major cities from Kiryat Shmona in the north to Eilat in the south. The protest movement has been in recess for the holidays and also as a result of public preoccupation with the Shalit deal and the feeling that the government has met the demands half way.In a Tel Aviv press conference this morning Leef attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu repeatedly and personally I will never look you straight in the eye Mr. Prime Minister. You are living at my expense; you are using me and my people as a springboard. The time has arrived for you to admit your mistake and understand that your time is running out.Leef was equally scathing about the politicians For two months they tried to talk with a public representatives – excuse me the politicians who sit at the Knesset in Jerusalem it feels like coming into a high school… Every time I feel that they're trying to blur or water down this protest. I don't understand why I should be in a fight for survival against the public's representatives.
I don't understand how they politicians sleep at night. How do you Mr. Netanyahu get up in the morning with a smile on your face.Leef advised the prime minister to see what is going on in the United States the heart of the systems that you so admire. The system isn't working. It's time that you conceded your mistake… For my future will not be determined by the concept of a single person who only gives speeches and doesn't listen. Many leaders in the social protest movement have accused Leef's gang of four - herself, Yigal Rambam, Regev Kontes and Stav Shafiof - of being out of touch with the zeitgeist of mainstream Israelis facing economic difficulties, going to far as say their scorched-earthstance has led them to make silly demands of the government.
Sarkozy: No Such thing as a Jewish State-French President Nicolas Sarkozy says that a Jewish state has no meaning because a state is neither Jewish nor Catholic.
By Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu First Publish: 10/25/2011, 11:37 AM
French President Nicolas Sarkozy says that a Jewish state has no meaning because a state is neither Jewish nor Catholic. He made the same remark several times this week in interviews on two Jewish radio stations and with a French news agency following the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, whose parents are French citizens.
Sarkozy earlier this month said on another occasion that Israel cannot be defined as Jewish no more than this table is Catholic. He was raised as a Roman Catholic but his grandfather was Jewish. His remarks reflect an international view that denies that the United Nations recognition of Israel as a country in 1947 actually is the re-establishment of the ancient state that existed for approximately 1,000 years from the time of King Saul until the fall of the Holy Temples.Asked about a Jewish state, Sarkozy replied, A Jewish state – I don’t know what that means. Speaking of a state of the Jewish people is already more interesting.A Jewish state has no meaning because a state is neither Jewish nor Catholic.Nevertheless, the French president favors a two-state solution in which Israel will be bordered by the Palestinian Authority, which PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has stated will be cleansed of Jews and thereby be a country only for Arab Muslims and a small and dwindling Christian population.
If there is a Palestinian state, it is likely that Palestinians will be mainly living there and if there is an Israeli state Jews around the world know that whatever happens they will have a homeland, according to Sarkozy’s line of thinking.
Two states for two peoples would mean that nobody is losing face. As far as I know there are millions of people who are not Jewish in Israel today,he added.Sarkozy also expressed views shared by many people who support Jews when they are down-trodden. Frankly, I prefer to be on the side of those who are victims of anti-Semitic abuse than with those who profess these kind of behaviors,he said.
Report: Obama Wants Silent Freeze in Judea, Samaria-US suggests Israel freeze construction unofficially to cause PA to restart talks.By Gil Ronen First Publish: 10/25/2011, 12:05 PM
The Obama administration reportedly wants Israel to implement a silent freeze of Jewish homebuilding in eastern Jerusalem and the mountains of Samaria and Judea to coax the Palestinian Authority (PA) into agreeing to negotiate with Israel.According to Israeli daily Maariv, the United States wants the freeze to be undeclared and partial. The idea is that Israel will not build new neighborhoods but will be allowed to build within existing ones. Any transgression of these terms will result in harsh steps against Israel by the U.S.MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) was quick to chop down the idea. After ten months of a loud and unprecedented freeze, it is outrageous to see that the Obama administration still believes that construction in the settlements is indeed an obstacle on the road to negotiations, she said. There is no difference between a silent and loud freeze, she added. The public's clear choice of the right wing will not allow a second freeze of construction in Judea and Samaria, no matter what statement comes out of the Prime Minister's office. The PA has insisted that Israel freeze all construction in Judea and Samaria as a precondition for negotiations. However, when Israel did freeze construction for 10 months, he did not sit down at the negotiating table, yet demanded that the freeze be extended.

Virtual Combat Simulator to Exhibit at Israel Defense Expo-An innovative combat simulator is one of the many military systems to be exhibited next week at the ISDEF expo in Tel Aviv.By Chana Ya'ar First Publish: 10/25/2011, 12:38 AM
An innovative, fully-immersive combat simulator for individual soldiers is one of the many military training systems to be on display next week at the Israel's only major international military and police trade show, the Israel Defense Expo. An annual event, the Israel Defense Exhibition (ISDEF) in Tel Aviv is the place where the world's military manufacturers conduct their business with prospective clients in Israel's defense industry.Being the only major international defense exhibition in Israel, ISDEF attracts top key players, political and government figures, said organizers in a statement. Numerous Israeli military products are always displayed for sale at the event, with many making their debut at the show. International vendors work hard to compete. One of the foreign-made products expected to be on display this year is the ExpeditionDI, the industry's first fully-immersive, soldier-worn combat simulation platform produced by Quantum3D.The virtual simulator, intended to help train troops prior to deployment, is to be exhibited at the Computech International (CTI) booth. Executives are promoting the product as the future of infantry training. The system, which immerses troops in virtual combat, consists of a helmet with goggles, a vest and computer backpack, and a mock M-16 rifle. Each individual system costs tens of thousands of dollars, according to Quantum 3D marketing director Pratish Shah.

Madsen: Gaddafi Flying White Flag When Killed Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com October 24, 2011
Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, investigative journalist Wayne Madsen said his sources in Libya provided information revealing Moammar Gaddafi was set-up in an assassination plot.Early on October 19, Twitter messages from Gaddafi’s hometown of Sirte reported the presence of white flags across the devastated town. Flags were reported at multiple locations in the town, leaving some to believe the rebels were surrendering,The use of white flags to signal surrender is an ancient tradition going back to the Eastern Han dynasty in China and the Roman Empire. Violating the widely accept convention is considered an act of extreme treachery.Under both the Geneva and Hague protocols of international humanitarian law, it is forbidden to kill or injure persons hors de combat (outside of combat) and doing so constitutes a major war crime.Madsen’s sources said Gaddafi was told to surrender to the al-Qaeda rebels besieging Sirte before morning prayers at 5 am, but that it was decided to surrender after the sun was well up in the sky so the white flags would be clearly visible. It also appears likely the arrival of Secretary of State Clinton in Libya may have played into the plot and convinced Gaddafi to surrender.According to official accounts, however, Gaddafi was attempting to flee Sirte and avoid surrender.
He was wounded in a Predator drone attack and subsequently killed by crossfire, either from the rebels or Gaddafi supporters. Video footage released hours after the attack, however, clearly reveals a seriously wounded Gaddafi abused by a crowd of rebels. A choppy cell phone video then shows the body of the deposed leader.A NATO rebel fighter later bragged that he had killed Gaddafi. Both Madsen and Jones said the official cover story does not make sense. If Gaddafi wanted to escape Sirte, why didn’t he do it under the over of darkness? It makes little sense to attempt an escape convoy in broad daylight in rebel territory with U.S. predator drones likely on constant patrol.Madsen’s information reveals that Gaddafi was set-up for a double-cross and execution. Dead men, as they say, tell no tales. Gaddafi’s cooperation with the globalists, his business deals with the war criminal Tony Blair at the behest of JP Morgan, his talk of nationalizing Libya’s oil fields, his close relationship with oil corporations and American politicans like John McCain were all liabilities for the elite and would have been extremely problematic if he had surrendered and faced the ICC at the Hague.A full report on the incident will be forthcoming at Madsen’s website.

With large parts of their banking sector in French, Austrian or Greek hands, eastern European countries are wary that upcoming rules on bank recapitalisation will allow regional subsidiaries to be drained of money, putting their economies at risk.We cannot accept a recapitalisation through money withdrawal, for instance from the Romanian market, in order to withstand the crises within the eurozone, Romanian President Traian Basescu said on Sunday (23 October) after the first part of an EU summit which will continue on Wednesday to set out conditions for a €100 billion cash injection into Europe's most troubled lenders. He also blamed his fellow colleagues' indecision for driving up borrowing costs in eastern Europe due to the worsening situation in Greece.Half of Romania's banking sector is owned by cash-strapped Austrian and Greek banks, such as Erste, Raiffeisen, Alpha Bank and Eurocredit. The country's national bank has called on foreign subsidiaries to raise their capital in Romania if their parent banks face troubles back home due to Greek exposure. On Monday, Austria's Erste - the biggest bank in Romania - said it is set to report a net loss of almost €1 billion this year due to write-downs and charges on its units in Hungary and Romania and the European sovereign debt crisis.
Hungary will now seek to expand regulation of its bank sector, particularly links between investment and retail banking operations, so as to avoid the state having to bail out troubled financial institutions, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Monday. His comments come after a day of mass protests against bank bail-outs and against his government's strong grip on media freedoms.Neighbouring Bulgaria is also set to face troubled times ahead, as 30 percent of its banks are in Greek hands.Experts support the idea that bank recapitalisation should not neglect subsidiaries in eastern Europe. We agree with the Romanian president's message that any recapitalisation has to benefit the group as a whole, Jeromin Zettelmeyer, deputy chief economist with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) told this website. In the event of debt restructuring, Greek banks will require a significant recapitalisation, with the London-based EBRD seeing two scenarios: One where everything goes well and subsidiaries can go on without being cut off from parent banks and one when restructuring is not handled perfectly and national governments in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia will have to intervene to prop the subsidiaries.Zettlemeyer said governments in eastern Europe have contingency plans ready and that the International Monetary Fund would back such an action with financial support. That, however, would increase the countries' foreign debt and widen the budget deficit governments are currently struggling to keep under control.A good deal on Wednesday could turn around gloomy economic forecasts, the economist said, however.Currently, the EBRD has lowered the growth predictions for the region to around one percent, due to the sovereign debt crisis in the eurozone. I absolutely agree that the longer it takes to have an agreement, the bigger the problems,Zettlemeyer said.
MUSLIM NATIONS
EZEKIEL 38:1-12
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog,(RULER) the land of Magog,(RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW)and Tubal,(TOBOLSK) and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW) and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,(GOD FORCES THE RUSSIA-MUSLIMS TO MARCH) and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia,(IRAN,IRAQ) Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer,(GERMANY) and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (TURKEY)of the north quarters, and all his bands:(SUDAN,AFRICA) and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.(RUSSIA-EGYPT AND MUSLIMS)
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
ISAIAH 17:1
1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
PSALMS 83:3-7
3 They (ARABS,MUSLIMS) have taken crafty counsel against thy people,(ISRAEL) and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they (MUSLIMS) have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:(TREATIES)
6 The tabernacles of Edom,(JORDAN) and the Ishmaelites;(ARABS) of Moab, PALESTINIANS,JORDAN) and the Hagarenes;(EGYPT)
7 Gebal,(HEZZBALLOH,LEBANON) and Ammon,(JORDAN) and Amalek;(SYRIA,ARABS,SINAI) the Philistines (PALESTINIANS) with the inhabitants of Tyre;(LEBANON)
DANIEL 11:40-43
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south( EGYPT) push at him:(EU DICTATOR IN ISRAEL) and the king of the north (RUSSIA AND MUSLIM HORDES OF EZEK 38+39) shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.(JORDAN)
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
EZEKIEL 39:1-8
1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog,(LEADER OF RUSSIA) and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech (MOSCOW) and Tubal: (TUBOLSK)
2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts,(RUSSIA) and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,( ARABS) and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog,(NUCLEAR BOMB) and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
JOEL 2:3,20,30-31
3 A fire(NUCLEAR BOMB) devoureth before them;(RUSSIA-ARABS) and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army,(RUSSIA,MUSLIMS) and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.(SIBERIAN DESERT)
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.(NUCLEAR BOMB)
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
EU leaders back US claims on Iran assassination plot
Today OCT 24,11 @ 09:23 By Andrew Rettman
EU countries have in a formal statement given full credence to US claims that Iran plotted to murder a senior Saudi diplomat in Washington. The 27 leaders in a communique published at a summit in Brussels on Sunday (23 October) said the plot was real and strongly implied the Iranian authorities were behind it.The European Council welcomes the reinforcement of EU restrictive measures against Iran due to unacceptable human rights violations and the adoption of restrictive measures against five individuals following the foiled plot to assassinate the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States, the statement said.EU countries one day earlier also put the five suspects on their terrorist register. The bloc's Official Journal said they have been involved in terrorist acts. The weekend's language abandoned the kind of caveats used by EU foreign relations chief Catherine Ashton mid-week. Ashton had spoken of allegations and precautionary measures. Her spokeswoman, Maja Kocjancic, told EUobserver the EU took the US line on good faith: Member states were briefed by the US authorities using different channels, including in their embassies in Washington ... I am not going to interpret the statement by the 27 EU leaders. But there clearly is enough belief to make that statement. For its part, Iran firmly denies involvement.
Its EU embassy in an unusual move on Friday emailed a letter to every single MEP, Belgian parliamentarians and most Brussels-based journalists, saying: A vast wave of political and media propaganda has been launched against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is being threatened by political and economic reprisals, even military reprisals. The US Justice Department itself is being more cautious than the EU. Its communique ends with the line: The charges ... are mere allegations and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.Commentators such as Robert Baer, a former CIA officer turned Time magazine columnist, previously told this website the EU is helping the US to demonise Iran to justify tougher action against its alleged nuclear weapons programme. He pointed out the EU has also imposed sanctions on Iranian army officers over massacres in Syria without giving any evidence. The US says Iran used the five suspects as go-betweens to hire a Mexican drug cartel to kill Saudi Arabia's ambassador on American soil for $1.5 million. If true, it amounts to an act of war against the US and EU's main Arab ally in the Middle East.Baer and other experts have poured scorn on the accusations.[Iranian leaders] Suleimani and Khameini understand how to do political murder ... If they were in on this, they've either lost their minds, or they've lost control, or they're committing suicide. Those are your three choices. There isn't a fourth choice,Baer told the New York Times.I would say it just doesn't feel right ... It's hard to imagine why the Iranians would sign on to that. And the tradecraft seems amateurish and sloppy. It's crazy, Charles Faddis, a former CIA counter-terrorism chief told the New York-based news service ProPublica.
Yemen: Saleh, Protesters Thumb Nose at UN-Clashes continue as neither Yemeni president Abdullah Ali Saleh or those calling for his ouster are impressed by the UN. By Gavriel Queenann First Publish: 10/25/2011, 4:11 AM
Yemeni President Abdullah Ali Saleh thumbed his nose at the United Nations Security Council on Monday and refused to step down. The 15-member Security Council on Friday unanimously called for Saleh to implement a transfer of power agreement brokered by the six-member Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) immediately. The agreement, which Saleh has backed out of several times before, calls for him to step down within 30 days. Saleh, however, has proven nonplussed by the world body or its demands and kept up the crackdown that began even before he returned from Saudi Arabia weeks ago. Before Saleh's return from the kingdom, where he was recovering after a June assassination attempt, it was believed Saleh could be induced not to return. But Saleh has proven a crafty and determined political survivor who has shown no intention of ending his 33-year reign.Clashes in the capital of Sanaa between government troops and armed followers of tribal leader Sadeq Al Ahmar broke out in the capital, hours after the UN Security Council called for Saleh's self-ouster on Friday.AFP reported at least 10 people were killed in clashes Saturday. Witnesses said deafening explosions rocked the Al Hasba district, where the houses of Al Ahmar and his brother are located. On Sunday, at least 13 were killed as clashes continued unabated. At least two were teenage boys killed when a grenade was thrown into a market stall. Also on Sunday, fierce clashes erupted between Saleh loyalists troops and soldiers loyal to dissident General Ali Mohsen Al Ahmar in the Change Square area of the capital, where thousands of protesters have encamped to demand Saleh's departure. Neither side would comment on their causalities.
Sadeq Al Ahmar, who heads the most powerful tribe in Yemen, Hashed, was formerly a close ally of Saleh. Sadeq and Ali Mohsen switched sides and joined with student-led protesters in publicly demanding Saleh go.Clashes between these powerful factions have left hundreds of Yemenis dead and threatened to drag the impoverished country into full-blown civil war.Saleh and those who would see him depart shared one point of commonality in that neither side was moved by the United Nations resolution. We were not waiting for any UN resolution. The resolution sided with the interests of the members of the council, not with the aspirations of the Yemeni people, Waled Al Amrai, an anti-regime activist, told Reuters.Saleh did not respect the resolution and his forces immediately [after the resolution] fired on the people, Al Amrai added. We see this as the UN granting Saleh 30 days to crush the revolution militarily.
Rock Thrown at Bus in Binyamin-Rock hurled at Egged bus as it travels near Binyamin. Miraculously, no one injured.By Elad Benari First Publish: 10/25/2011, 2:40 AM
A rock was hurled on Monday evening at an Egged bus that was traveling in the Binyamin region. The bus was making its way from Jerusalem to Beit El, when the rock was thrown at it near the community of Migron. No one was injured, but an Arutz Sheva reporter who was on the bus said that the rock hit the window near the driver, who escaped injury simply because the bus was heavily protected.Rock attacks on Israeli vehicles have become a common phenomenon in recent weeks. Two weeks ago, rocks were thrown at the Jerusalem Light Rail as it was passing near the Shuafat neighborhood. No one was hurt but the train sustained broken glass. That same evening, rocks were thrown at a bus near the Yafo Gate in the city. As a result, the driver lost control and hit a wall. The driver was lightly wounded but the passengers were unhurt. On Yom Kippur, a woman in labor and her husband were attacked as they rushed to the hospital. Terrorists hurled rocks at their car as they drove near the Har Homa neighborhood on their way to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in Jerusalem.A rock attack also claimed the lives of Asher Palmer and his infant son Yonatan in September. So far, the rock attack phenomenon has been prevalent in Judea, southern Hevron and Gush Etzion. Monday evening's attack was the first in this latest wave of rock attacks that took place in the Binyamin area.
Obama Pulls Terror Training Manuals Referencing Islam-The US has pulled terrorism manuals referencing Islam following complaints from terror-linked advocacy groups.
By Gavriel Queenann First Publish: 10/24/2011, 8:56 PM
Deputy U.S. Attorney General James Cole confirmed on Wednesday the Obama administration was recalling all training materials used by the law enforcement and national security communities, in order to eliminate all references to Islam.I recently directed all components of the Department of Justice to re-evaluate their training efforts in a range of areas, from community outreach to national security, Cole told a panel at the George Washington University law school. The move comes after complaints from Muslim advocacy organizations, including the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which was identified as a Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas front group in the 2004 Holy Land Foundation terror fundraising trial.CAIR founders Omar Ahmad and Nihad Awad were originally officers of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP), described by former FBI analyst and US Treasury Department intelligence official Mathew Lewitt as, intimately tied to the most senior Hamas leadership.
Both Ahmad and Awad participated in a meeting held in Philadelphia on October 3, 1993, that involved senior leaders of Hamas, the Holy Land Foundation (which was designated in 1995 by Executive Order, and later convicted in court, as an organization that had raised millions of dollars for Hamas) , and the IAP.According to electronic surveillance of the meeting subitted as evidence in the Holy Land trial by the FBI, the participants went to great length and spent much effort hiding their association with the Islamic Resistance Movement [Hamas].... Participants at the meeting discussed forming a political organization and public relations body, whose Islamic hue is not very conspicuous. In a Wednesday Los Angeles Times op-ed, Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) president Salam al-Marayati threatened the FBI with a total cutoff of cooperation between American Muslims and law enforcement if the agency failed to revise its law enforcement training material.Maintaining the training materials in their current state will undermine the relationship between law enforcement and the Muslim American community, al-Marayati wrote.Ties between CAIR and MPAC, both of whom have been guests of honor at numerous Federal events and symposiums, and Obama administration dinners, are well documented. Both organizations are members of the American Muslim Political Coordination Council, which seek to coordinate political advocacy efforts.
Al-Qaeda Commander Ordered Sharia Law In Libya-NATO’s bombing campaign has paved the way for an extremist, arcane and brutal system of justice Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com Tuesday, October 25, 2011
National Transitional Council leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil’s announcement that Libya would follow Sharia law was mandated by Abdel Hakim Belhaj, the former Al-Qaeda commander whose LIFG terrorist organization killed U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.Jalil promised to revoke Gaddafi’s ban on polygamy and return Libya to Islamic banking laws during a triumphant speech on Saturday, declaring, Libyan laws in future would have Sharia, the Islamic code, as its basic source.Sharia law is viewed by many as an arcane and inherently brutal system of justice, with harsh punishments for those deemed to have broken its moral code, including torture and execution for sins such as adultery, homosexuality and robbery. The law also stifles free speech as it criminalizes criticism of Islam, the Quran, and the prophet Muhammad.Even as Jalil made the announcement of a return to Sharia, the decree that bodies should be buried immediately under Islamic law was flouted as people lined up to see the dead corpses of Gaddafi and his son Mutassim lying in a meat freezer.
However, the move to implement Sharia law was not a decision made by the NTC, reports Israeli intelligence source DebkaFile, it was ordered by Abdel Hakim Belhaj, the former Al-Qaeda commander whose Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, with the aid of NATO’s bombing campaign, now controls strategic areas of the country. It was generally believed in Tripoli that the strongmen ruling the capital, Abdel Hakim Belhaj, ex-al Qaeda, and Ismail and Ali al-Sallabi, heads of the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood, only granted Abdul-Jalil’s wish for a big liberation rally in Benghazi after he agreed to declare the new Libya a Sharia state. But after the grand celebration is over, DEBKAfile’s sources report, the transitional leader will be little more than a figurehead. Even now, he is confined in Benghazi by the three strongmen, who control most parts of the capital, and have not given him permission to move the seat of the interim government to Tripoli.Abdul-Jalil is only allowed to pop over to receiving visiting foreign dignitaries. The notion that Belhaj and his terrorist fighters are the real source of power in Libya tallies with previous reports that Belhaj dismissed suggestions he hand over power to the NTC, having declared himself Commander of the Tripoli Military Council. As we previously documented, Belhadj is the front man for the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), designated as a terrorist organization by the US State Department. Belhadj was captured by the CIA in Malaysia in 2003 and extradited to Libya where Colonel Gaddafi had him imprisoned. Belhadj is a committed jihadist who fought with the Taliban against U.S. troops in Afghanistan. Libyan rebel leader Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi also admitted that Belhadj’s LIFG fighters were the second-largest cohort of foreign fighters in Iraq.A 2007 West Point report indicated that the Benghazi-Darnah-Tobruk area of Libya is a world capital for Al-Qaeda or mujahideen suicide bomber recruitment. Author Webster Tarpley details this intelligence in his excellent analysis piece, The CIA’s Libya Rebels: The Same Terrorists who Killed US, NATO Troops in Iraq. The West Point report detailed how the LIFG and Al-Qaeda had formed an increasingly co-operative relationship.Since the LIFG seized key areas of the country, black Libyans have been subjected to torture, imprisonment and execution at the hands of Belhadj’s fighters and other Libyan rebel groups.
The Debka report concludes that, A primary objective of the Arab Spring as promoted by the United States and the Western Alliance is the substitution of those dictatorships by fundamental Muslim regimes whose leaders quite frankly usher Sharia law in to the liberated countries. While the establishment media grandstands about freedom and democracy being brought to Libya and other Middle Eastern countries as a result of the Arab Spring, and NATO-backed regime change, in reality the west has deliberately installed radical regimes who if anything will become more brutal than the tyrants they have replaced. This in turn builds tension throughout the region and lays the pretext for additional US and Israeli intervention further down the line.

Merkel: EU rescue fund power to top €1 trillion
Today OCT 24,11 @ 17:01 By EUOBSERVER
German Chancellor Merkel has briefed MPs in the Bundestag she aims to agree changes in the EU's bail-out fund, the EFSF, enabling it to lend up to €1 trillion to help debt-stricken countries like Italy, AP reports. The final decision is due at an EU summit on Wednesday.
Bank drain threat hangs over eastern Europe
24.10.11 @ 18:17 By Valentina Pop
