BY THE TIMELINE IN OBAMAS OWN BOOKS-OBAMA WENT TO PAKISTAN ON HIS INDONESIAN PASSPORT.ANOTHER ISSUE OUT OF 400 PEOPLE AT COLUMBIA THAT GRADUATED THE YEAR OBAMA OR BARRY SOETORO DID,NO ONE COMES FORWARD TO SAY THEY KNEW HIM.HOW COME AT HAWAII HOSPITAL WERE OBAMA CLAIMS HE WAS BORN,NO NURSES OR ANYBODY CAME FORWARD TO SAY THEY WITNESSED OR TOOK PART IN THE BIRTH.THIS BARRY SOETORO OR AKA BARACK OBAMAS LIFE IS A COMPLETE FRAUD.AND AMERICA IS CONNED TO BELIEVE THE LIE.WHY WOULD SOETORO AKA OBAMA SPEND 2 MILLION DOLLARS TO STOP ALL THESE LAWSUITS IF THERES NO COVERUP.HE WOULD JUST SHOW THE PROOF OF EACH EVENT-PLACE OF BIRTH,CERTIFICATE AND REAL NAME BARRY SOETORO INDONESIAN PASSPORT.
The proof is everywhere from statements and affidavits from Government parliament sources and Obama’s own Grandmother who says she saw him born in a hospital in Mombassa Kenya. The former ambassador to Kenya says Obama was born in Mombassa Kenya, so do others. 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
EZEKIEL 7:19

Survivor tales from southern storms that killed 12 By HOLBROOK MOHR and JAY REEVES, Associated Press Writers - APR 26,10
YAZOO CITY, Miss. – Morgan Hayden and Joe Moton stepped carefully through nails, broken glass and pink tufts of insulation, the remnants of their home leveled by a tornado as severe storms killed at least 10 people in rural Mississippi and two in Alabama. The couple had planned to marry Monday, but with little left besides the clothes on their backs, they weren't sure what to do.It'll work out, though, 27-year-old Hayden said Sunday, a day after the tornado ripped through as she and Moton, 31, huddled in a bathtub. The bathroom was the only room that wasn't destroyed. They were unhurt, and the stories of other survivors show how much higher the toll could have been as authorities tried to get a better handle on the destruction from violent weather that churned through a half-dozen Southern states over the weekend.Dale Thrasher, 60, had been alone in Hillcrest Baptist Church when the tornado ripped away wood and metal until all that was left was rubble, Thrasher and the communion table he had climbed under as he prayed for protection. The whole building caved in, he said. But me and that table were still there.
Sunday was sunny and breezy as Thrasher and about three dozen members of the Yazoo City church stood in a circle and sang Till the Storm Passes By.Thrasher reminded the group that the church has survived tough times before. They rebuilt after their building was destroyed by arson about 10 years ago.The Lord brought us through the fire, and brought us back bigger and better,Thrasher said. The Lord will bring us back bigger and better this time, if we stick together.Hundreds of homes also were damaged in the tornado, which carved a path of devastation from the Louisiana line to east-central Mississippi, and at least three dozen people were hurt. National Weather Service meteorologist Marc McAlister said the tornado had winds of 160 miles an hour and left a path of destruction at least 50 miles long. This tornado was enormous, said Gov. Haley Barbour, who grew up in Yazoo County, a county of about 28,000 people known for blues, catfish and cotton. The twister wreaked utter obliteration among the picturesque hills rising from the flat Mississippi Delta, the governor said.Mississippi's Choctaw County had the most confirmed deaths: five, including a baby and two other children. Sherry Fair rushed to her aunt's home in the county. She said an hour and a half after the tornado passed, a woman lay dying in a ditch along a dirt road beside the body of her husband. She was laying there just crying,a shaken Fair said. She was broke up bad. It hurt me watching, but nobody could get to her. The ambulances couldn't get through because of the trees.
Authorities had not released a list of the dead. All inquiries were referred to Coroner Ricky Shivers, who nearly became a victim himself when the twister flipped his truck four times. He went back out in his hospital gown to help identify bodies and was back in the hospital late Sunday.Tornadoes also were reported in Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama. The storm system tracked northeastward, downing trees in northwest Georgia early Sunday and later damaging two schools and several mobile homes in Darlington, S.C.All that remained of Sullivan's Crossroads Grocery in Choctaw County was a pile of cinderblocks and some jars of pickled eggs and pigs' feet. Owner Ron Sullivan, his wife and four other people were inside when the storm tore the wooden roof off. They came away with cuts and bruises.Sullivan had been on the phone, describing the weather conditions to a meteorologist, when the line went dead and the twister hit, hurling Sullivan into a cinderblock wall.I was levitated and flew 15 feet over there to the back wall,he said. The only reason I wasn't killed was the wall was still there. After I hit it, it collapsed.A steel fuel storage tank, about 10 feet long, was uprooted by the twister and rolled into the store, coming to rest against a freezer. Hiding on the other side of the freezer was Sullivan's wife.
Across the street, the home of the parents of Houston Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt was reduced to rubble by the tornado. Oswalt himself was driving a bucket loader Sunday, trying to knock down a damaged tree on the property. The tornado went on to cut about a 10-mile path through the county, hacking off the tops of pine trees about eight feet above the ground before slamming into three mobile homes. Alphonzo Evans, 38, had been sleeping in one of the homes when he heard the wind come up. He had planned to take cover in a hole outside, but it was too late. He shut the door. By the time I turned around, the wind came up and I went flying,Evans said. In Alabama, authorities attributed two deaths to severe weather. A 50-year-old woman was killed when she slipped and hit her head as she headed to a storm shelter Saturday, and a 32-year-old man was killed when the car he was riding in struck a tree that had blown down across a road. More than 30 other injuries were reported in the state, none serious. Alabama Gov. Bob Riley planned to visit Albertville on Monday in northern Alabama to look at storm damage in the area along with local legislators and Albertville Mayor Lindsey Lyons. South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford planned to tour Darlington County. Teams from the Federal Emergency Management Agency were set to survey the worst damaged counties in Mississippi on Monday with state emergency officials, a first step toward a possible presidential disaster declaration, state emergency management spokesman Greg Flynn said. Associated Press writers Emily Wagster Pettus in Yazoo City, Jack Elliott Jr. in Jackson and Maria Burnham in French Camp contributed to this report.
Mississippi counts costs after deadly tornadoes
Sun Apr 25, 3:42 pm ET
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (AFP) – Rescuers scoured wreckage in Mississippi Sunday for survivors of deadly tornadoes that tore through the southern US state, killing at least 10 people and destroying dozens of homes. The National Guard fanned out across affected areas, using Humvees to reach hard-hit Yazoo County, nestled in hills that rise sharply out of the Mississippi Delta. Others surveyed the damage from Blackhawk helicopters.Officials said three children aged three months, nine and 14 were among the dead in Choctaw County. The toll could well mount as rescuers clear the debris from Saturday's storms, which tore roofs off buildings, reduced homes to splinters, overturned vehicles, downed power lines and toppled trees onto the roads.Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour teared up as he described the damage in his hometown of Yazoo City.It reminds me of (Hurricane) Katrina,he said, describing the tornado as enormous.By God's grace, it did not go into the central part of the city or the most populated areas,Barbour told reporters, although cautioning that some were still trapped inside their homes. There are a number of businesses that have been destroyed, others that have been severely damaged, there are churches that have been obliterated,Barbour said. There are many, many homes that are damaged, some that are destroyed. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has already counted nearly 200 homes damaged by the storm, and Barbour said at least 21 locals who sustained injuries had been ferried to nearby hospitals in helicopters or ambulances.Survivors told dramatic stories of narrow escapes from tornadoes that were up to a mile (1.6 kilometers) wide and packed winds of nearly 165 miles per hour, according to meteorologists.Sandra Grayson, who was sitting on her front porch just outside Yazoo City when she saw a tornado come tearing over a nearby hill, ran and hid inside her bathroom.
I could hear all around me the trees twisting and swaying, she told The Clarion-Ledger newspaper. I asked God to hug us because it was like you could just tell you were looking in the eyes of death. The federal government and the American Red Cross dispatched rescue teams to the disaster zone.Tarps, meals and water were being distributed as officials called for volunteers to help coordinate efforts in Yazoo City to remove fallen trees, splintered homes and other debris.Electricity company Entergy said the tornado caused widespread damage to Entergy facilities, leaving hundreds without power. The storms began early Saturday in neighboring Louisiana, later cutting west to east across Mississippi, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake. The severe weather also dumped hail the size of tennis balls in Mississippi's southern Lowndes County, according to the National Weather Service. The storms stretched through a broad area from Missouri to the Florida Panhandle, causing more than two dozen twisters to develop in Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama. Counting the cost of the disaster would be a big challenge, Mississippi Emergency Management Agency spokesman Jeff Rent said.

Iceland's main airport reopening after ash closure
APR 26,10
LONDON – Iceland's main international airport is reopening after a three-day closure due to ash from an erupting volcano.Keflavik Airport shut Friday after easterly winds began blowing ash from the Eyjafjallajokull (ay-yah-FYAH-lah-yer-kuhl) volcano toward the capital, Reykjavik. The airport reopened Monday.Flights across Europe were suspended for several days after the eruption began April 14. More than 100,000 flights were canceled and airlines are on track to lose more than $2 billion.Iceland was initially largely unaffected because winds blew the ash southeast toward Europe.
Scientists say the volcano is still spewing ash, but the plume is only about 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) high — not high enough to reach jet streams.

Major earthquake hits off Taiwan coast
APR 26,10
TAIPEI, Taiwan – An earthquake struck off the southeast coast of Taiwan on Monday, causing buildings to sway briefly but no casualties or damage. The temblor was felt at the site of a massive landslide in northern Taiwan but did not hamper rescue efforts. The 6.5-magnitude quake hit at 10:59 a.m. (0259 GMT), 195 miles (295 kilometers) off the southern Taiwan city of Taitung at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 kilometers), the U.S. Geological Survey said. The agency's initial report had put the quake's magnitude at 6.9.In Taipei, buildings swayed for up to 20 seconds when the quake hit, but police said there were no reports of casualties or damage anywhere on the island. No tsunami alert was issued. In northern Keelung county, 18 miles (30 kilometers) northeast of Taipei, the tremor caused little new damage at the site of a massive landslide, police said. On Sunday, a hillside collapsed onto a three-lane highway following several days of rain, burying three cars.
Many of the hundreds of workers digging through the rubble felt the temblor but went on searching for the four passengers believed to have been buried in the cars, police said.Earthquakes frequently rattle Taiwan but most are minor and cause little or no damage. However, a 7.6-magnitude earthquake in central Taiwan in 1999 killed more than 2,300 people.
China quake leaves 8,000 monks homeless: state media
Sun Apr 25, 11:50 pm ET
BEIJING (AFP) – The quake in China's remote northwest has left more than 8,000 monks homeless after damaging nearly 90 monasteries, state media said Monday, as the focus of relief work moved onto resettling survivors.Authorities in the province of Qinghai said repairing monasteries would be a priority in reconstruction efforts, the state-run China Daily said, nearly two weeks after the 6.9-magnitude earthquake, which killed over 2,200 people.By the end of this year, we hope to restore the living quarters of the monasteries for more than 8,000 monks now living in makeshift tents,Leshi, head of Yushu's ethnic and religious affairs committee, was quoted as saying.More than 23,000 monks and lamas live in hundreds of monasteries in Yushu, a rugged prefecture that sits at an average altitude of 4,000 metres (over 13,000 feet) on the Tibetan plateau. They played a key role in search and rescue efforts in the region, sifting through rubble for survivors, distributing much-needed food and supplies, and cremating hundreds of bodies to prevent disease.
Many came to help from neighbouring areas but were later urged to go home in what activists said was government unease over their influence in a restive area. Authorities said the move was to avoid hindering relief work.Yushu was hit by violent riots that began in March 2008 in the Tibetan capital Lhasa after four days of peaceful protests by monks and later swept across the Tibetan plateau.According to the report, 84 monks were killed in the quake and at least 100 were among the more than 12,000 injured.Leshi further promised that as well as being fixed, the monasteries would also be upgraded to include running water, electricity and Internet access within two to three years.

BP struggles to cap leak as US oil slick spreads by Allen Johnson – Mon Apr 26, 3:38 am ET
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (AFP) – British oil giant BP used robotic underwater vehicles Monday to try to cap a leaking well and prevent a growing oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico from developing into an environmental disaster.Satellite images showed the slick had spread by 50 percent in a day to cover an area of 600 square miles (1,550 square kilometers), although officials said some 97 percent of the pollution was just a thin veneer on the sea's surface.BP has dispatched skimming vessels to mop up the oil leaking from the debris of the Deepwater Horizon rig, which sank on Thursday, two days after a massive explosion left 11 workers missing and presumed dead. The company said at least four underwater robots, similar to scaled-down submarines, are being employed for a first-of-its-kind attempt to stop the leak by plugging up the leaking well.Doug Suttles, chief operating officer of BP Exploration & Production Suttles told a press conference outside New Orleans Sunday that workers will use a blowout preventer -- a piece of back-up equipment installed near the wellhead, but which has failed to function properly since the rig went down -- to try to plug the leaks. It has not been done before, but we have the world's best experts working to make it happen, said the BP executive, who warned that if the attempt fails, it might take as long as two to three months to staunch the leaking well.
BP said it was trying to activate the giant 450-tonne, 50-foot high machine using remotely operated submersible vehicles. At the same time, it is also preparing to drill relief wells that would permanently shut off the oil flow.Essentially, they're trying to put a cork in a bottle of champagne,Richard Metcalf, a mechanical engineer at the pro-industry Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association told AFP.BP estimated that the leaks, some 5,000 feet (almost one mile) down on the seabed, emanate from two holes in the riser that connects the wellhead to the sunken rig and are were releasing 1,000 barrels, 42,000 gallons, of oil a day.The coast guard, which conducted two overflights on Saturday and Sunday to assess the extent of the pollution, described it as a very serious spill.Five aircraft and 32 spill response vessels -- skimmers, tugs, barges and recovery boats -- were hoping to resume efforts to mop up the slick after weather delays on Saturday. So far, the slick is not threatening the coast of Louisiana more than 40 miles away, where it could endanger ecologically fragile wetlands that are a paradise for rare waterfowl and other wildlife. In the trajectory analysis we don't see any impact to any shoreline within the next three days,Charlie Henry, scientific support coordinator of the US government's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), told journalists.BP said chemical products had also been poured into the slick to help the dispersal process and more were in stock.
And Steve Benz, head of the independent Marine Spill Response Corporation, said that at BP's request he was mounting the largest response effort in his group's 20-year history and BP officials expressed confidence that they will be able to contain the spill offshore.Still, environmentalists were sounding an alarm about the possible threat to Louisiana's fragile wildlife, and experts said the spill has the potential to be the worst seen in the United States since the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil tanker spill, considered one of the worst man-made environmental disasters. That spill poured nearly 11 million gallons of crude into Alaska's Prince William Sound, devastating some 750 miles of its once pristine shores.Meanwhile, there was still no news of the 11 missing Horizon crew members. The US coast guard, which helped evacuate another 115 to safety after Tuesday's spectacular blast, which shot balls of flame leaping into the night sky, aborted its massive air and sea search on Friday. Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the accident, which would be the worst in decades on a US offshore platform if the missing men are not found.
Quick end to gulf oil leak depends on robot subs By CAIN BURDEAU, Associated Press Writer – Sun Apr 25, 9:43 pm ET
NEW ORLEANS – It could take hours or it could take months to stop a 42,000-gallon-a-day oil leak polluting the Gulf of Mexico at the site of a wrecked drilling platform. Whether the environmental threat grows many times bigger depends on whether the oil company can turn the well completely off.Crews are using robot submarines to activate valves at the well head in hopes of cutting off the leak, which threatens the Gulf Coast's fragile ecosystem of shrimp, fish, birds and coral. If the effort fails, they'll have to start drilling again. The submarine work will take 24 to 36 hours, Doug Suttles, chief operating officer for BP Exploration and Production, said Sunday afternoon.I should emphasize this is a highly complex operation being performed at 5,000 feet below the surface and it may not be successful,he said.Oil continued to leak nearly a mile underwater Sunday at the site where the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded on Tuesday. Eleven workers are missing and presumed dead. For the second consecutive day, high waves prevented boats and equipment from going out to clean the spill. Airplanes sprayed chemicals to break up the oil.
The spill initially appeared to be easily manageable after the oil rig sank Thursday about 50 miles off the Louisiana coast, but it has turned into a more serious environmental problem. Officials on Saturday discovered the leak, which is spewing as much as 1,000 barrels — or 42,000 gallons — of oil each day.The oil spill has been growing — officials said the oily sheen on the surface of the gulf covered about 600 square miles Sunday. The environmental damage would be especially serious if it reaches land. The spill was still about 70 miles from the mainland, but only about 30 miles from an important chain of barrier islands known as the Chandeleurs.
The islands, part of a national wildlife refuge, are an important nesting ground for pelicans and other sea birds. They have been under serious threat since Hurricane Katrina washed out much of the sand there.Katrina did kick it pretty good, but they have been growing back, said Greg Thornton, the 52-year-old owner of Horn Island and Due South Charters in Biloxi. He takes fishing parties out to the islands.Looking at wind patterns on his computer, which showed favorable conditions until Thursday, Thornton held out hope that the oil could be contained. We might have some trouble if they don't get the boom around it and stop it from spreading,he said. The spill so far appears to be small relative to some major oil accidents. The Exxon Valdez spilled 11 million gallons in Alaska's Prince William Sound in 1989 — the worst oil spill in U.S. history. It has the potential to be pretty serious, but at 1,000 barrels a day, if it comes to the surface they'll probably be able to contain it and vacuum it up,said James Cowan, an oceanography and coastal sciences professor at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. The company is planning to collect leaking oil on the ocean bottom by lowering a large dome to capture the oil and using pipes and hoses to pump it into a vessel on the surface, said Suttles, the BP executive.
That system has been deployed in shallower water,he said, but it has never been deployed at 5,000 feet of water, so we have to be careful. The robot submarines are attempting to close off the flow of oil by activating a shutoff device at the well head known as a blowout preventer. In case that doesn't work, BP PLC, which leased the Deepwater, moved another deepwater rig, the DD3, toward the explosion site. If necessary, the new rig would drill relief wells into the damaged well underneath the ocean floor. That could take several months. Benton F. Baugh, who holds patents for blowout preventer parts, said the subs should be able to do the job. If they can't get it closed off, something really unusual happened, said Baugh, president of Radoil Inc. in Houston and a National Academy of Engineering member. Kenneth E. Arnold, an offshore production facility expert and another member of the engineering academy, said drilling a relief well is not an easy task. You have to intersect the well,he said.Sometimes you have to drill through the steel, and that's what happened in Australia. It took them three times before they were successful. He was referring to a blowout on the West Atlas rig in the Timor Sea last August. It wasn't until November that mud could be pumped through a relief well to shut off the deepwater spigot. The oil spill has resulted in major environmental damage along the coast of East Timor and Indonesia. Coast Guard officials said weather conditions for the next three days would help keep the Gulf spill away from the coast. Mark Schexnayder, a regional coastal adviser at the Louisiana Sea Grant, said the oil spill had the potential to do long-term damage to the coastal environment. The location of the spill is crisscrossed by marine species, including sperm whales, whale sharks, sea turtles, grouper and porpoises, he said. We're a month away from opening up the inshore shrimp season, crab season is just getting underway,he said.It could close oyster beds.BP said it has activated an extensive oil spill response, including the robot submarines, 700 workers, four planes and 32 vessels to mop up the spill and spray chemicals that will disperse the oil.
The Marine Spill Response Corp., an energy industry cleanup consortium, also brought in equipment. So far, crews have retrieved about 1,143 barrels of oily water. Complicating efforts to stop the leak is the well head's depth at 5,000 feet underwater, said Lars Herbst, the regional director for the U.S. Minerals Management Service, which regulates oil rigs. Leaks have been fixed at similar depths before, but the process is difficult, he said. The explosion appeared to be a blowout, in which natural gas or oil forces its way up a well pipe and smashes the equipment. But precisely what went wrong is under investigation.

26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
MATTHEW 24:21-22,29
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake (ISRAELS SAKE) those days shall be shortened (Daylight hours shortened)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
REVELATION 16:7-9
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Developing nations: Climate change treaty in 2010
Sun Apr 25, 12:01 pm ET
CAPE TOWN, South Africa – Four influential developing nations say the world must work for a strong climate change agreement this year.Summing up strategy talks in South Africa on Sunday, South African Environment Minister Buyelwa Sonjica and her counterparts from Brazil, China and India said they want year-end talks in Mexico to produce a binding international agreement to reduce greenhouse gases and help poor countries cope with climate change. But they add success could still come from a 2011round in South Africa.Hopes for success in Mexico have been fading since acrimonious talks in Copenhagen last year failed to produce a binding agreement. The 1997 Kyoto Protocol, with provisions capping industrial countries' greenhouse gas emissions, expires in 2012.

Dubai World creditor expects debt resolution soon By ADAM SCHRECK, AP Business Writer - APR 26,10
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – One of Dubai World's major creditors said Monday that restructuring talks with the debt-laden conglomerate are moving ahead and should be resolved soon.Rick Pudner, CEO of Emirates NBD, said negotiations with the struggling state-owned company are still ongoing but are progressing very positively.
A lot of progress has been made over the last few weeks. We are hoping for a satisfactory resolution,Pudner told reporters in a conference call. The Dubai-based bank is part of a committee of leading creditors trying to hammer out a resolution with Dubai World. The conglomerate shocked global markets late last year by seeking new terms on $26 billion in debt — a fraction of the more than $80 billion owed by the semiautonomous city-state.Emirates NBD is one of two Emirati banks on the negotiating committee, which also includes international lenders such as HSBC Holdings PLC, Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC and Standard Chartered PLC.It is the only one of the creditors that's majority owned by the Dubai government, which holds a controlling stake through its Investment Corp. of Dubai investment arm. Nearly two-fifths of the company is publicly traded.Pudner said he hoped a resolution would be reached with Dubai World in the not too distant future, though he acknowledged that the exact timeframe remains uncertain.Certainly in the next few weeks,he said, declining to discuss the specific terms Dubai World is offering lenders.
Dubai's government announced last month it would pump up to $9.5 billion into the struggling conglomerate as part of a long-awaited restructuring plan. That proposal still needs approval from dozens of creditors, including Emirates NBD.Separately on Monday, Dubai World's global seaport operator DP World said it still aims to list its shares on the London Stock Exchange. We remain committed to listing our shares ... and are focused on completing the process as soon as possible,Chief Executive Mohammed Sharaf said in a statement that will be read at the company's annual meeting Monday.DP World announced the London share float plan in January in an effort to attract new investors amid poor performance with its hometown Nasdaq Dubai stock listing. It said at the time it might seek the listing as early as the second quarter of this year.Sharaf also said the company is seeing signs of a recovery in sea trade, with first-quarter volume up 6 percent to the equivalent of 6.3 million 20-foot shipping containers, a standard measure of cargo volume. He attributed the gain to increased business in the Indian subcontinent, Australia and parts of Europe. The profitable cargo handler is considered one of Dubai's crown jewels, running the Middle East's largest port in Dubai and 48 other marine terminals around the world.

The Standard & Poor's 500 index is up 1.07, or 0.1 percent, at 1,218.35, while the Nasdaq composite index is up 1.39, or 0.1 percent, at 2,531.54.
Oil price not hampering economic recovery: Kuwait
by Omar Hasan - APR 26,10
KUWAIT CITY (AFP) – Kuwait Oil Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah al-Sabah said on Monday that current oil prices of 75 to 85 dollars a barrel do not hamper the global economic recovery. So far in 2010, we have witnessed a stable level of oil prices at between 75 and 85 dollars a barrel, the minister told the opening session of the 18th Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference. This price will not create hurdles for the world economic recovery, said Sheikh Ahmad.Oil dipped on Monday, coming off 19-month highs as commodity prices were hit by a strengthening dollar and profit-taking.
London's Brent North Sea crude for June fell to 87.13 dollars per barrel, having earlier struck 87.75 dollars -- a level last seen in October 2008.New York's main contract, light sweet crude for June, slid 16 cents to 84.96 dollars. The Kuwaiti minister, whose country is OPEC's fourth largest exporter, said the OPEC cartel will step in to raise output if oil prices soar above 100 dollars a barrel.Sheikh Ahmad said Kuwait will continue to invest in crude capacity increases to reach its target of four million barrels per day by 2020.Our current production capacity is 3.1 million bpd and if compared with our quota of about 2.2 million bpd, it means we have a capacity surplus of around one million bpd, he said. The minister said Kuwait is targeting 3.5 million bpd in 2015 and four million bpd by 2020 and we plan to sustain it until 2030.Kuwait, which discovered non-associated natural gas for the first time in 2006, is still on target to produce one billion cubic feet (28 million cubic meters) per day of non-associated, or free gas in 2016.The emirate currently produces around 140 million cubic feet per day of non-associated gas, but this is way behind its original target for 2011 of 600 million cubic feet per day.As a result, Kuwait in February signed a technical service agreement with Shell to develop its difficult free gas reserves.Sheikh Ahmad said Kuwait encourages other IOCs (international oil companies) to follow the Shell example, adding that the emirate is in talks with a number of oil majors and hopes to make an announcement shortly.
The chief executive officer of Kuwait Petroleum Corp. (KPC) Saad al-Shuwayeb told reporters that Kuwait also produces one billion cubic feet of associated gas alongside its crude oil output. But despite its abundant reserves, the emirate still has a gas shortfall due to rising domestic power consumption and started to import liquefied natural gas by vessel in significant quantities at the beginning of April.
It plans to import an average 500 million cubic feet per day of LNG until the end of October, according to Shuwayeb.Chairman of state-owned Kuwait Oil Co. (KOC) Sami al-Rasheed said the cost of production-raising projects over the next five years was around three billion Kuwaiti dinars (10.4 billion dollars). Rasheed said that Kuwait plans to achieve the production capacity target of four million bpd in 2020 through raising the output of distillates to 450,000 bpd and of heavy oil to up to 300,000 bpd and by boosting production at the main oilfields. He warned that Kuwait was moving from the production of easy oil to difficult oil which requires advanced technology and is more expensive. Rising costs (of projects) is one of the main challenges we are facing,Rasheed said.Kuwait says it sits on around 10 percent of global crude reserves, although a senior minister said last week that Kuwaiti oil reserves were much higher than published.

Hamas releases cartoon about captured Israeli By BEN HUBBARD, Associated Press Writer – Sun Apr 25, 3:40 pm ET
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip – Hamas released an animated film Sunday bearing a grisly message for Israel: If it doesn't meet the Islamic militant group's demands, an Israeli soldier it has held for nearly four years could return home in a coffin. The short but sophisticated cartoon — which depicts Sgt. Gilad Schalit's aging father wandering empty streets with a picture of his son and ends with the words There is still hope — is the latest product of Hamas' growing media machine.TV and radio stations controlled by the group continuously broadcast Hamas-produced songs and music videos threatening the Jewish state and rallying the group's militant Islamic base. But the latest cartoon — which was widely broadcast on Israeli TV — was remarkable for the personal and callous nature of the appeal on an issue that has profound emotional resonance for many Israelis: The fate of Schalit, who was captured by Gaza militants in June 2006.The website of Hamas' armed wing, which posted the video, said it was intended to pressure Israelis to accept demands for a prisoner swap and warns the Israeli government it could regret not making a deal quickly.Schalit's father, who has become a recognizable face in Israel, is the main character of the three-minute, 20-second short, in Hebrew with English and Arabic subtitles. Noam Schalit is normally clean-shaven, but he appears in the film's later scenes with a cane and scraggly gray beard, suggesting he has grown old while awaiting his son's release.
The elder Schalit passes billboards on which Israeli leaders vow to free his son or get information on his fate. He reads a newspaper ad offering $50 million for information on his son's whereabouts, then tosses it in the trash. The soundtrack includes clips of his son's voice taken from a Hamas video released last October to prove the soldier was still alive. That video came amid talks aimed at trading Schalit for about 1,000 Palestinians prisoners. Negotiations have since stalled.
Toward the end of the film, screen text in Hebrew and Arabic informs viewers that the Israeli government's efforts to clinch a prisoner swap deal succeeded. Noam Schalit sits near Israel's Erez border crossing with Gaza, where a black van unloads a coffin draped in an Israeli flag. The father screams, then wakes up, finding himself sitting at a bus stop. A screen text reads: There is still hope.Noam Schalit called the film psychological warfare and urged Hamas to reach a deal with Israel in order to ease an Israeli-Egyptian blockade that has made life hard for the 1.5 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.Hamas leaders would do better if instead of producing films and performances, they would worry about the real interests of the Palestinian prisoners and the ordinary citizens of Gaza who have been held hostage by their leaders for a long time,he said in a statement.Hamas has placed considerable emphasis on expanding its media machine since seizing control of Gaza in 2007, ousting forces loyal to its Western-backed rival, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Last year, the group released its first feature film, an action-packed homage to a top militant.Hamas also has produced cartoons before, including a jihad-loving mouse for a children's show. Last year, a short cartoon showed Schalit strapped to a chair, pleading with a Palestinian boy to set him free. The boy refused, saying he had relatives in Israeli prisons.Nashat al-Aqtash, media professor at Birzeit University in the West Bank, said Hamas has invested in media production as an easy way to spread its ideology — a tactic also used by other militant groups.Cheaper technology has made it easier to produce animated films, which can be widely distributed on the Internet while keeping their creators' identities secret, al-Aqtash said.
Hamas declined to say who made Sunday's film.Israelis criticized the film for exploiting the Schalit family's pain. The family's plight has struck a chord with Jewish Israelis, most of whom perform mandatory military service and feel the same could have happened to anyone's son. Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said the film demonstrated Hamas' terrorist and cruel character.Others noted that the video was released just two days after Israel permitted the daughter of Hamas' top security official in Gaza to pass though Israel on her way to seek urgent medical treatment in Jordan. The daughter of Hamas Interior Minister Fathi Hamad left Gaza on Friday for an Israeli hospital, where she was airlifted to Jordan, Israeli and Jordanian officials said Sunday. Jordanian officials declined to discuss Elham Fathi Hamad's treatment but said Jordan's King Abdullah II personally appealed to Israel so the woman, who is in her 20s, could make the rare medical trip through Israel.
Hamad once headed the armed wing of Hamas that released the Schalit video. He now oversees all of Hamas' security forces.Nir Hefez, media adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said the video's timing attests, more than anything, to the character of this terrorist organization. On the Net: http://qassam.ps/video-29-Cartoon_Film_for_Gilad_Shalit.html Associated Press Writers Tia Goldenberg in Jerusalem, Rizek Abdel Jawad in Gaza City and Jamal Halaby in Amman contributed to this report.
Netanyahu's Office Presents: The True Face of Hamas
by Hillel Fendel APR 26,10
The Prime Minister’s Office continues to try to present the true face of Hamas to a world that is increasingly inclined to tolerate the terrorist organization. The latest PMO announcement came in the wake of a Hamas video mocking Gilad Shalit and Israel’s attempts to have him released. The video shows an aged Noam Shalit, father of the captive soldier, walking through the streets, passing old billboards of Israeli prime ministers or acting prime ministers – Olmert, Livni, and Netanyahu – and promising to act on behalf of Shalit’s release. Finally, the film shows how Israeli governmental efforts pay off: To his father’s shock, Gilad is released in a coffin. The video was released two days after Israel provided emergency treatment to the little daughter of a Hamas government minister – a man who was involved in the talks for Shalit’s release. Hamas insisted on the release of 1,000 Palestinian terrorists from Israeli prisons, including many murderers. After the girl was treated in an Ashkelon hospital, Israel provided an air escort for a Jordanian plane transporting her to Jordan for further treatment. Hamas later publicly thanked Jordan, but did not acknowledge Israel’s help in any way. The Prime Minister released a statement pointing out what can be learned about Hamas from this series of events. The Hamas leadership's cynical manipulation of the Shalit family's sensitivities just two days after Israel allowed a little girl to be flown for lifesaving surgery outside the Gaza Strip, the statement reads, attests, more than anything else, to the character of this terrorist organization.
The statement continues:
“This is another deplorable action by Hamas designed to assist its leadership in avoiding a decision regarding the mediation offer [on Shalit]. For months, the leaders of Hamas have avoided responding to the proposal for a humanitarian deal, tabled by the German mediator under Egyptian auspices. This proposal which was formulated with the participation of both sides, would bring about the immediate return of Gilad Shalit, safe and sound, to his family and his people.Noam Shalit responded to the video by saying, It is sad that they continue to use psychological warfare against the Shalit family and the Israeli public, instead of approving the offer made by Israel four months ago.(IsraelNationalNews.com)
PA Factions say No to Peace Talks
by Maayana Miskin APR 26,10
Eight Palestinian Authority factions meeting in Syria have rejected peace talks with Israel based on the two-state solution, according to Kuwaiti media. Among the factions were Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The groups called on the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), the umbrella group that created the PA, to immediately stop talks with Israel. The PA has agreed to indirect talks with Israel, via United States mediators. The eight factions slammed US negotiators, and accused special U.S. Mideast envoy George Mitchell of seeking to buy time for Israel to implement its own plans. While the PA is currently run by Fatah, which supports negotiations, Hamas swept the PA parliamentary elections in 2006 and continues to enjoy significant support in Judea and Samaria as well as Gaza. Fatah won only 45 out of 132 seats in the 2006 elections.
Islamic Jihad has a policy of boycotting elections in the Palestinian Authority.
Hamas has called to postpone new PA elections due to the Hamas-Fatah split, which has left Hamas in charge of Gaza and Fatah in control of Judea and Samaria. However, Fatah officials have announced that elections will be held in the course of 2010 with or without Hamas approval. (IsraelNationalNews.com)
Obama Hosts Muslim Entrepreneurs
by Maayana Miskin APR 26,10
U.S. President Barack Obama began a two-day summit Monday bringing together entrepreneurs from dozens of countries, most of them primarily Muslim. The summit is seen as a continuation of Obama's Cairo address, in which he said he would strive for closer ties with the Muslim world. The meeting aims to develop economic ties with, and boost development in, the Muslim world. A top Obama aide said the conference was part of establishing a more multifaceted set of relationships. In a similar move, the Obama administration is set to have the U.S. Global Technology and Innovation Fund award contracts to Muslims, in an effort to increase investment in the Muslim world.Obama's focus on economic and social issues is intended to enhance, not replace, America's involvement in political and defense issues in the Middle East, aides said. The president remains committed to a variety of goals in the Middle East, they explained, among them Israeli-Arab negotiations. Some of Obama's Middle East policies have proven controversial, particularly his efforts to talk to Iran and his condemnation of Israeli construction in Jerusalem. The latter policy sparked a rally in New York yesterday against Obama's Israel policy. (IsraelNationalNews.com)
Iran's opposition leader assails ruling clerics By ALI AKBAR DAREINI, Associated Press Writer - APR 26,10
TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's opposition leader has said that a corrupt power structure is running the country in the name of Islam — his harshest words to date against the hard-line clerical leadership.Mir Hossein Mousavi, who has often spoken up against the government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has also lately stepped up his criticism of Iran's ruling clerics. In remarks carried late Sunday on his website Kaleme.com, Mousavi said the country's rulers arrest and beat people in the name of Islam, prevent activities of political parties in the name of Islam, and shut down media in the name of Islam. The clerical leaders have called pro-opposition protesters enemies of God, or mohareb in Farsi — a crime punishable by death under Iranian law — and have increasingly used the concept as a weapon against opponents.
Iran's judiciary has put more than 100 people on a mass trial on similar charges since August. About a dozen people have been sentenced to death, and more than 80 others have received prison terms ranging from six months to 15 years. You call anybody who speaks against you a ... mohareb or overthrower. This is not beneficial to you or the country. This is not compatible with Islam, Mousavi was quoted as saying.Islam doesn't allow beating, libel, keeping people in prison and imposing restrictions. The opposition argues that Ahmadinejad won the June 2009 election through massive vote fraud and that Mousavi was the rightful winner. More than 80 demonstrators have been killed and hundreds of activists and pro-reform figures arrested in the crackdown on massive opposition street rallies protesting Ahmadinejad's disputed election win.The government, which puts the number of confirmed deaths in the post-election turmoil at 30, accuses opposition leaders of being stooges of the West and of seeking to topple the ruling system through street protests.Mousavi argues that some in the clerical establishment — which came to power in the 1979 Islamic Revolution that toppled the pro-U.S. Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi — have increasingly become corrupt and strayed from the Revolution's original ideals. The power structure developed by some on the basis of interests and corruption has gradually stopped working in the interest of the people, Mousavi also said.
Mousavi also said his Green Movement will keep raising public awareness as its main strategy in the face of the authorities' bloody crackdown. He stressed that recent shutdowns of newspapers and blocking of opposition websites would not help the ruling system silence the opposition.UPDATES with details; CORRECTS lede to delete partial quote; AMENDS long headline; ADDS byline.
Iran to launch new satellites before March 2011
APR 26,10
TEHRAN (AFP) – Telecommunication Minister Reza Taghipour said on Monday that Iran will launch new satellites capable of transmitting data and images by March next year, official media said. The satellites, which will be sent into space this (Iranian) year (which runs to March 2011), have telecommunication and filming capability,Taghipour said on a visit to Moscow, the state television website said.
These are Iranian-made and are currently undergoing tests... and, once approved, they will be sent into space. He said the launch would take place once the launcher, the ground station and the guidance system are ready. In February, Iran revealed details of three new satellite prototypes -- the Toloo (Dawn), Navid (Good News) and Mesbah-2 (Lantern), the last said to be a telecommunications satellite. In February last year, Iran launched its first home-built satellite, the Omid (Hope), to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.
IDF Foils Gaza Bomb Attempt
by Maayana Miskin APR 26,10
IDF soldiers found three mines Sunday that had been planted next to the Gaza security barrier. The mines were located during a routine security check and were destroyed in a controlled explosion; no injuries were reported.IDF spokesmen said the alert soldiers who found the charges had foiled a planned attack. The incident is the third in under three weeks in which IDF soldiers have foiled attempts to plant bombs near the Gaza barrier. Last week, soldiers shot and killed a terrorist as he attempted to plant bombs in northern Gaza.Terrorists plant bombs along the barrier primarily in an effort to target soldiers manning the structure, which runs between Gaza and the western Negev. In early 2008, terrorists detonated a string of explosives to take down the barrier in southern Gaza, allowing hundreds of thousands of Hamas-run Gaza residents to flood into Egypt.Recently, residents of Gaza have begun a series of protests demanding an end to the no-go zone around the Gaza barrier - an area on either side of the barrier which only soldiers may enter. They have been joined by several foreign left-wing protestors, who say the small strip of land in the no-go zone should be used for agriculture. The IDF remains firm in its stance that the zone is critical for allowing soldiers to spot terrorists and prevent them from reaching the barrier itself. Soldiers fired warning shots at a group of protesters on Saturday when they entered the no-go zone and refused to leave. Sources in Gaza later claimed that multiple protestors had been wounded. EU's Ashton to push Iran sanctions on China trip
Mon Apr 26, 6:54 am ET
LUXEMBOURG (AFP) – EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton will make her first trip to China this week, hoping to persuade Beijing not to block new UN sanctions over Iran's nuclear programme, a diplomat said Monday.Ashton will arrive in the Chinese capital Thursday from Tokyo, as she makes her first tour of the Asian giants since assuming her new office in December.During visits to Beijing and then Shanghai, she will hold talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and Foreign Minister Yan Jiechi among others.Iran is at the top of the agenda, the European diplomat said, as Western nations' attempts to put more pressure on Tehran to give up its nuclear programme struggle to translate into fresh UN sanctions. The United States, Europe and others fear Tehran is seeking the technology to build nuclear weapons, while the authorities in Iran insist that their nuclear programme is purely for civil energy use.China, a veto-wielding permanent UN Security Council member, is seen as key to the process by Europe.Ashton, who built up relations with Beijing during her brief spell as EU trade commissioner, hopes the Chinese can be persuaded not to veto a move to further sanctions, even if they are not prepared to support it.The Chinese haven't supported the idea of fresh sanctions but they have allowed the process to move forward, the diplomat said.Probably the best we can hope for is an abstention,he said. What we want to hear from the Chinese is that they are on the same page as the EU.US Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday he expected a sanctions regime coming out by the end of this month, the beginning of next month.
Ashton will visit China as part of an EU delegation with European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso. The EU and China are important global players and it is essential that we work together in addressing common challenges, Barroso said in a statement. The EU delegation will also participate in the Shanghai World Expo 2010.

ISAIAH 28:14-19 (THIS IS THE 7 YR TREATY COVENANT OF DANIEL 9:27)
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
DANIEL 8:23-25
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king (EU DICTATOR) of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences,(FROM THE OCCULT) shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:(SATANS POWER) and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes;(JESUS) but he shall be broken without hand.
DANIEL 11:36-40
36 And the king shall do according to his will;(EU PRESIDENT) and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers,(THIS EU DICTATOR IS A EUROPEAN JEW) nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces:(HES A MILITARY GINIUS) and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds (CONTROL HEZBOLLAH,AL-QUAIDA MURDERERS ETC) with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many,(HIS ARMY LEADERS) and shall divide the land for gain.
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south(EGYPT) push at him:(EU DICTATOR PROTECTING ISRAELS SECURITY) and the king of the north(RUSSIA) shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

ISAIAH 13:6-13 KJV
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:(FROM FRIGHT)
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
APNewsBreak: East Jerusalem construction frozen By AMY TEIBEL, Associated Press Writer - APR 26,10
JERUSALEM – The Israeli government has imposed a de facto freeze on new Jewish construction in Jerusalem's disputed eastern sector, municipal officials said Monday. The decision was made despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's public insistence that building would not be stopped in the face of U.S. pressure. It remained unclear if the slowdown constituted a formal moratorium or how long it would last, but the move reflected Netanyahu's need to mend a serious rift with the U.S. over Israeli construction on lands the Palestinians claim for a future state as Washington tries to bring the Palestinians back to the negotiating table. An Israeli government official claimed a weekslong delay in reviewing plans for new construction was nothing more than a bureaucratic issue. Nonetheless, signs of the freeze drew angry criticism from hard-line lawmakers, including a member of Netanyahu's own party who warned the government could collapse over the matter.
Construction in east Jerusalem has been a major sticking point since Israel infuriated Washington last month by announcing a major new east Jerusalem housing development during a visit by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.Jerusalem Councilman Meir Margalit of the dovish Meretz Party said top Jerusalem officials intimately involved with construction projects told him that Netanyahu's office ordered a freeze after Washington expressed anger over the building plans. The government ordered the Interior Ministry immediately after the Biden incident to not even talk about new construction for Jewish homes in east Jerusalem,Margalit said. It's not just that building has stopped: The committees that deal with this are not even meeting anymore. He declined to identify the officials who informed him of the order because they had not approved the disclosure of their names. A Jerusalem municipal spokesman did not immediately return a call seeking interviews with the officials.
Another councilman, Meir Turujamen, who sits on the Interior Ministry committee that approves building plans, said his panel has not met since the Biden visit, after previously meeting once weekly.I wrote a letter about three weeks or a month ago asking (Interior Minister Eli) Yishai why the committee isn't convening, he said. To this day I haven't received an answer.Turujamen added that the last time his committee met was on March 9, when it made the provocative decision to approve the 1,600-apartment Ramat Shlomo project that riled the Americans. He said he received no official word of a de facto freeze order, but based on the situation, those are the facts. We used to meet once a week, and now for several months we haven't met. It's clear there's an order. After word of the Ramat Shlomo project got out, the Palestinians called off indirect U.S.-mediated peace talks. Under American pressure, Palestinian leaders will seek backing this week from the Arab League to renew participation in those talks.Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said he has not heard anything official about an Israeli construction freeze in east Jerusalem. What counts for us is what we'll be seeing on the ground, he said.We hope the Israeli government will halt settlement activity so we can give proximity talks the chance they deserve.Attempts to advance construction haven't halted altogether. A lower-level municipal planning committee last week gave preliminary approval to a synagogue and kindergarten in a Jewish neighborhood in east Jerusalem, he said. But that decision still needs Interior Ministry approval. An engineer who oversees residential construction in a Jewish neighborhood in east Jerusalem said requests for proposals to build hundreds of apartments already approved haven't gone out.I think it's related to the political situation,he said, adding that he knew of no official order to block construction. The engineer spoke on condition of anonymity because he did not want to jeopardize his business ties with the city.Netanyahu has said he was taken by surprise by the approval of the Ramat Shlomo project while Biden was here, and aides announced that he would make sure he would be kept in the loop in the future before any decisions were taken on controversial construction.
But he also has repeatedly stated he would not freeze construction. Asked about Margalit's claim that a freeze order was in effect, government spokesman Mark Regev replied: Following the Biden visit and the mishap, the prime minister asked that a mechanism be put in place to prevent a recurrence of this kind of debacle. He would not elaborate, and stopped short of saying Netanyahu had ordered a freeze. Interior Ministry spokeswoman Efrat Orbach said this mechanism explained why planning committee meetings were being delayed, because now multiple ministries had to be involved in the coordination. There is no freeze, there is bureaucracy, Orbach said.
Israel captured east Jerusalem, the site of sacred shrines holy to Jews, Muslims and Christians, in the 1967 Middle East war and immediately annexed it. Some 180,000 Israelis now live in Jewish neighborhoods built there in the past four decades, and about 2,000 more live in the heart of traditionally Arab neighborhoods. The Palestinians, the U.S. and the rest of the international community do not recognize the annexation. The hawkish Netanyahu, however, has said repeatedly that east Jerusalem will remain under Israeli sovereignty in any peace deal, a position the Palestinians reject. Most of the partners in his hardline coalition have publicly opposed sharing Jerusalem with the Palestinians or freezing construction in east Jerusalem. Netanyahu huddled with members of his Likud Party on Monday and denied any freeze was in place, said Danny Danon, a lawmaker who attended the meeting. If we see there is a freeze, we will not sit quietly and the prime minister knows that, he said. This coalition will not allow the prime minister to freeze building in Jerusalem. Also Monday, Israeli troops killed a wanted Palestinian militant in a raid on a West Bank house. The body of the man, identified by relatives as Hamas activist Ali Sweiti, was carried out of the badly damaged building. The Israeli army said Sweiti was wanted in five shooting attacks, one of which killed a paramilitary policeman in 2004. The army said he was killed after he refused calls to surrender and opened fire at soldiers.Associated Press writer Ian Deitch contributed to this report.

Germany, France press Greece over austerity measures
ANDREW WILLIS Today APR 26,10 @ 09:28 CET
EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Germany and France have indicated that Greece must provide more details on the austerity measures to be taken in the coming years before eurozone states give their final approval on financial support. The separate warnings from Berlin and Paris on Sunday (25 April) came despite pressure for a quick response to Greece's request for aid. On Friday, Athens was forced to call in a recently brokered €40-45 billion EU-IMF loan after fresh EU data showed the country's 2009 deficit figure to be higher than previously estimated, evoking a harsh response from financial markets. German finance minister Wolfgang Schauble said Greece must restructure its economy radically as an unavoidable and absolute prerequisite to aid approval. The fact that neither the EU nor the German Government has taken a decision means that the response can be positive as well as negative, Mr Schauble told the mass-selling Bild newspaper. This depends entirely on whether Greece continues in the coming years with the strict savings course it has launched.
The European Commission has also indicated it supports Berlin's stance that Greece must come up with a detailed programme for cutting the budget next year, arguing it is a necessary measure to convince markets of the Greek government's resolve to improve public finances. For her part, French finance minister Christine Lagarde said the EU would halt loan payments if there were any suspicion that Athens was not living up to its commitments. We will need stricter control mechanisms to make sure we don't fall into a bottomless pit,she said. Earlier this month eurozone finance ministers agreed to provide up to €30 billion in bilateral loans to Greece this year, to be charged at an interest rate of close to five percent, with a further €10 billion-15 billion to come from the IMF. Germany is expected to be the biggest contributor, providing about €8.4 billion, followed by France on €6.3 billion. Figures for 2011 and 2012, as part of a three-year lending scheme, have yet to be agreed.
Germany
On Saturday, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy insisted eurozone nations were taking the necessary steps to be able to deliver swift assistance to their debt-laden partner Greece. IMF managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn also promised the fund would move expeditiously, while US treasury secretary Timothy Geithner encouraged the lenders to move quickly to put in place a package of strong reforms and substantial concrete financial support.Greece' request for aid must now receive a positive assessment from the European Central Bank and the European Commission, before then being approved by euro area countries. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has previously said that any support must only come as a last resort, once market financing had dried up. Ms Merkel is facing crucial regional elections on 9 May in the populous state of North Rhine-Westphalia, with polls suggesting bilateral support for Greece is unpopular with a majority of the country's voters. The head of Ms Merkel's Christian Democrat group in the European Parliament, Werner Langen, said that an aid package was not a lasting solution to Greece' problems. Greece should perhaps leave the eurozone and become competitive again with the help of tough structural reforms,he told Spiegel magazine. Currently trailing in the polls, Germany's Liberal party has also been quick to attack the imminent support for Greece, criticising Mr Schauble for offering the honey pot too soon. With any aid for Athens first needing parliamentary approval in Germany, as in several other euro area states, the country's political party chiefs are meeting on Monday to explore the possibility of an accelerated loan bill.

Brussels and Madrid clash over domestic violence bill
VALENTINA POP Today APR 26,10 @ 09:17 CET
EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS – In a rare display of public disagreement with the EU presidency country, the European Commission on Friday (23 April) refused to back a legislative proposal providing EU-wide protection for victims of domestic violence.
Spain, currently chairing the EU, has been pushing for the creation of a European protection order allowing women subject to violence by their husbands or partners to enjoy the same legal protection anywhere in the 27 member states. But different legal traditions in dealing with gender violence have prompted several member states to raise doubts about the current proposal. While a woman in Spain can be granted protection if her partner has no criminal record or has only threatened her with acts of violence, the law is much more restrictive in Austria, for instance, where such orders are issued only in criminal investigations or for already convicted felons.Madrid has argued that these discrepancies are all the more reason to have an EU-wide tool which is recognised in all member states. There are 8,000 Romanian women in Spain who have protection orders. They should be able to go back to their own country and enjoy the same level of protection. The same should also work for the 800 or so Germans. People move freely around Europe and should enjoy the same level of protection,Spanish justice minister Francisco Caamano said during a press briefing following the meeting with his 26 EU counterparts. Mr Caamano and EU justice commissioner Vivian Reding had diverging views over the outcome of the meeting. While the Spanish politician said there was a large majority of member states in favour of Madrid's proposal, the commissioner bluntly contradicted him. There is no council agreement. A majority of member states have problems with the current proposal, she said.
The commission will not back the draft bill in its current form, said Ms Reding, noting that the proposal touches on both criminal and civil law, making it too complicated. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, she said, warning against victimising individuals for a second time by creating legal uncertainty instead of helping them. She threatened to take the Council of Ministers to the European Court of Justice if the proposal goes ahead.Inter-institutional turf war may also explain why the two sides could not agree. Under the EU's new legal framework, the Lisbon Treaty, member states can bypass the commission in its right to table legislative proposals only in respect to criminal law. But by expanding the provisions of the protection order to civil matters, where only the executive can come up with draft legislation, the Spanish presidency stepped on the commission's toes.Ms Reding promised to set up a working group based on the preparatory work done by the Spaniards and in January 2011 table a broad package on all victims' rights, not solely gender-related.The Spanish presidency, after advertising this initiative as one of its flagship projects, will still try to reach a political agreement in June, which would then have to be ratified by the EU legislature.Victims can't wait another two to three years until we sort out the procedures,Mr Caamano said at the press conference.
Fidesz secures supermajority in Hungarian elections
LEIGH PHILLIPS Today APR 26,10 @ 12:34 CET
Hungary's right-wing opposition party, Fidesz, has won a two-thirds majority in the country's general election after a second round of voting on Sunday (25 April).Led by former prime minister Victor Orban, the party has secured 263 out of 386 seats, according to the national election committee. The outgoing Socialists, whose leadership tendered its resignation en masse on Sunday as soon as the official results were released, won 59 seats, but managed to remain in second place and to not be eclipsed by the far-right Jobbik party. The extreme nationalist Jobbik, or Movement for a Better Hungary, got 47 seats, while the brand new green party, Politics Can Be Different, or LMP, won 16.We saw a revolution in the polling stations,Mr Orban said after his victory, which has yielded a strong mandate that will allow his government to pass changes to the constitution.Hungarians today brought down a regime and founded a new one, he said. They founded the regime of national co-operation instead of the reign of oligarchs.Frustrated with high levels of corruption and bitter about the government's handling of the financial crisis, which saw Budapest agree to austerity measures in return for an IMF bail-out, voters turned to Mr Orban, who has promised to create a million new jobs over the next 10 years, to reduce taxation and to streamline the country's bureaucracy. In opposition, he criticised the IMF-related cutbacks and said he wants to renegotiate the bail-out deal, even petitioning alongside trade union leaders. But in recent months he has tacked to the right, saying he will enact structural reforms, and has been more often seen on platforms with businessmen.
In a move that may worry Hungary's EU neighbours, Mr Orban has also promised to award citizenship to people of Hungarian descent in other countries, opening his victory speech by speaking to: Hungarians within and beyond the borders. Many Hungarians believe their country was unfairly carved up by the post-WWI Treaty of Trianon, in which Hungary lost some 72 percent of its territory. He also underscored his support for the EU in the victory address: Hungary has strengthened its commitment to democracy, its position in Europe and in the European Union,he said.
Humanitarian group blasts draft EU-India trade deal
APR 26,10
BRUSSELS (Reuters) – Humanitarian group Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) on Monday criticised draft provisions of a free-trade deal between the European Union and India, saying it would boost prices of drugs for India's poor. The EU and India are in talks on a free trade agreement that they hope could be completed in October.MSF said prices of medicines in India would go up because the bilateral deal would tighten the protection of intellectual property rights of drug-makers and require the manufacturers of generic drugs to make their own drug tests instead of relying on data from the original pharmaceutical firms. The reason that we are concerned is that we saw on Friday the latest version of this agreement. And it still contains these provisions, said Michelle Childs, director of policy and advocacy for the MSF Campaign for Access to Essential Medicines. They continually repeat that they are not seeking to have an effect on access to medicines but their actions do not match their words, she said of the European Commission, the European Union's executive arm, which conducts the negotiations.
She also said civil society organisations should be involved in the talks, now conducted behind closed doors. But EU Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht said the EU had agreed to make changes to the deal and that developing countries had the right to access essential medicines. The European Commission is going to take care that there are no hindrances for access to essential medicines for people from a developing country, he said.Trade between India and the EU stands at 78 billion euros ($105 billion). Brussels says the agreement could open up export opportunities worth $9 billion for India.Negotiations for a free trade agreement began in 2007 but need to close differences on issues such as market access and the EU's moves to link commerce to India's performance on child labour and the environment.(Reporting by Sangeeta Shastry)
ZECHARIAH 14:12-13

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
Ukraine leader says Chernobyl reactor a threat By ANNA MELNICHUK, Associated Press Writer - APR 26,10
KIEV, Ukraine – Ukraine's president warned Monday on the anniversary of the world's worst atomic accident that the Chernobyl nuclear reactor remains a serious threat to Europe. The 1986 reactor explosion sent a cloud of radiation over much of Europe and severe health problems persist a quarter-century later. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych says some 2 million people suffer illnesses caused by the radiation. The exploded reactor is encased in a deteriorating shell and internationally funded work to replace the shell is far behind schedule.Yanukovych said during commemoration ceremonies Monday that the reactor is a threat not only for Ukraine, but for Europe, Russia and Belarus. The radiation left swaths of Ukraine and Belarus uninhabitable.
Yanukovych laid flowers at a monument to explosion victims in Chernobyl, visited a plant on reprocessing a spent nuclear fuel.Yanukovych pledged to give better care for Chernobyl victims and those who still suffer from the related diseases, calling that an issue of conscience and honor.Prime Minister Mykola Azarov promised better medical treatment, higher pensions, accommodation.
In Kiev, an Orthodox priest prayed near a monument to Chernobyl victims in front of hundreds who gathered to pay tribute to those who died. Some of them complained about inadequate compensation and treatment for those who fell ill after taking part in the cleanup. We lost our town, we lost everything. Every time, the authorities promise to rise our pensions, but they always lie, said Serhiy Krasylnikov, a former plant worker who currently heads a Kiev district union of Chernobyl victims.A commemoration march was planned for Monday evening in Belarus. In previous years, opposition groups had used unsanctioned commemoration gatherings as a venue for protesting against the authoritarian government. This year, officials have sanctioned the march.
Canada scores at G20 on bank tax issue By Louise Egan – Fri Apr 23, 8:42 pm ET
OTTAWA (Reuters) – Canada is feeling pretty smug these days. First it beat the United States in Olympic hockey and now it has won the fight over a global bank tax.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner jokingly sounded like a sore loser on Friday after a meeting of G20 finance chiefs in Washington in which Canada's fierce opposition to a proposed levy on banks was reflected in the final communique. All things are swinging Canada's way, Geithner quipped, interrupting a reporter who was asking if opinion was shifting in favor of Canada's position on the issue. They won the medal in the Olympics, the hockey medal. That is a good sign for Canada. You should finish your sentence,he said, smiling.Hockey-crazed Canadians are still basking in the glow of their victory over the United States in February, when they took the gold medal and relegated their giant neighbor to second place.Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty took on his European and U.S. counterparts by slamming their proposal to tax banks to ensure that financial firms, not taxpayers, pay for future financial crises.Canadian banks did not need bailouts during the crisis and so should not be punished with a new tax, he argues.
Prior to the G20 meeting, Flaherty stood alone in resisting the proposal. But he said he persuaded some of his colleagues to support him.The final statement made no endorsement of a bank tax, saying instead that any measures should take into account countries' different needs.Geithner said the United States would go ahead and impose a levy on its banks even without global coordination. The U.S. is going to move, he said.I suspect you'll find other countries moving to adopt similar measures.(Editing by John O'Callaghan)
Bank of Canada sounds alarm on growing deficits By Louise Egan – Sun Apr 25, 12:05 am ET
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney warned on Saturday of the need to tackle growing fiscal deficits around the world, saying some people underestimate the scale of action needed to bring public finances under control.
Carney, speaking to reporters following G20 and IMF meetings in Washington, said the Greek debt crisis had served as a stark reminder to policy makers of the dangers inherent in their massive, globally coordinated stimulus plans, widely credited with preventing a depression. The Canadian economy could take a hit if other countries were forced to make bigger-than-expected fiscal adjustments or implement exit strategies sooner than anticipated, he said. That would have a knock-on effect on demand in our country,he said. What we're seeing with Greece, and we've been seeing it in the last few weeks, are the indications the limits of fiscal stimulus depend importantly on the initial conditions countries had when they embarked on programs, he said. Both Carney and Finance Minister Jim Flaherty called on governments to present credible exit strategies to the world.
There are substantial fiscal consolidations that are required in a very, very large number of countries,Carney said.I mean, we've seen warlike spending in peacetime and its going to take concerted effort over a number of years to bring budgets back to a sustainable level. He said anyone feeling complacent about averting an even greater economic crisis hasn't appreciated the scale of what was done to achieve that. And particularly on the fiscal side (that person) hasn't thought through or appreciated the scale of what will be required to adjust fiscal back to normal.Flaherty, who also briefed reporters on Saturday, said a number of western European countries were running substantial deficits and needed to address those problems. But the finance minister acknowledged that elections in Britain and Germany this year made it politically difficult for governments to make unpopular budget cuts.Carney said there was an increasingly shared realization in the G20 developing and developed countries of the need to close budget gaps.(Editing by Jeffrey Hodgson)

GENESIS 6:4-5
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
DEUTERONOMY 2:10-11,20-21

12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
JOSHUA 15:8,13-14
8 And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
13 And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
JOSHUA 17:15-17
15 And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.
16 And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.
17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:
JOSHUA 18:16
16 And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,
2 SAMUEL 21:15-22
15 Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint.
16 And Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David.
17 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel.
18 And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.
19 And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.
20 And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
21 And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him.
22 These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
1 CHRONICLES 20:4-8
4 And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.
5 And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver's beam.
6 And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.
7 But when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea David's brother slew him.
8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.

5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

Aliens may exist but contact would hurt: Hawking
Mon Apr 26, 1:16 am ET
LONDON (AFP) – Aliens may exist but mankind should avoid contact with them as the consequences could be devastating, British scientist Stephen Hawking has warned. If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans, said the astrophysicist in a new television series, according to British media reports. The programmes depict an imagined universe featuring alien life forms in huge spaceships on the hunt for resources after draining their own planet dry.Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach, warned Hawking. The doomsday scenario is suggested in the series Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking on the Discovery Channel, which began airing in the United States on Sunday. On the probability of alien life existing, he says: To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational.
The real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like.Glowing squid-like creatures, herds of herbivores that can hang onto a cliff face and bright yellow predators that kill their prey with stinging tails are among the creatures that stalk the scientist's fantastical cosmos.Mankind has already made a number of attempts to contact extraterrestrial civilisations. In 2008, American space agency NASA beamed the Beatles song Across the Universe into deep space to send a message of peace to any alien that happens to be in the region of Polaris -- also known as the North Star -- in 2439.But the history of humanity's efforts to contact aliens stretches back some years. The US probes Pioneer 10 and 11 were launched in 1972 and 1973 bearing plaques of a naked man and woman and symbols seeking to convey the positions of the Earth and the Sun.Voyager 1 and 2, launched in 1977, each carry a gold-plated copper phonogram disk with recordings of sounds and images on Earth.

DICK MORRIS-This truly creates a global economic system. From now on, don’t look to Washington for the rule making, look to Brussels.
EPHESIANS 6:10-13
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,(DEMONIC ANGELS IN HIGH PLACES) against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.(SPIRTIUAL DEMONIC PERSONS)
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
LUKE 4:5-7(BECAUSE SATAN OFFERS WORLD POWER, WORLD ORDERERS HAVE ACCEPTED SATANS GIFT)
5 And the devil, taking him (JESUS) up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
DANIEL 7:23-25
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
DANIEL 12:4,1
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
REVELATION 13:1-3,7,8,12,16-18
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
16 And he causeth all,(WORLD SOCIALISM) both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
REVELATION 17:3,7,9-10,12,18
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent.James Paul Warburg appearing before the Senate on 7th February 1950
Like a famous WWII Belgian General,Paul Henry Spock said in 1957:We need no commission, we have already too many. What we need is a man who is great enough to be able to keep all the people in subjection to himself and to lift us out of the economic bog into which we threaten to sink. Send us such a man. Be he a god or a devil, we will accept him.And today, sadly, the world is indeed ready for such a man.

Kissinger in 2008: There will be Bipartisan Push for New World Order, Whoever Is Elected President Jurriaan Maessen Infowars.com April 24, 2010
In Jason Bermas’ film Invisible Empire: A New World Order Defined, the concept of one world government has been definitively elaborated upon, its long-term objectives explained in detail. One of the chief proponents of the destruction of national sovereignty appearing in the documentary, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, has been heard on countless occasions quite openly calling for the emergence of the New World Order. Of course a child knows that in order to bring about a new structure, one has to first tear down the old one.At the 2008 Montreal Conference of the Americas, sponsored by UNESCO and other transnational leviathans, Kissinger not only reaffirmed the mantra held sacred by the global elite, namely that national sovereignty is a thing of the past and all efforts should now be concentrated on ceding it on the altar of globalism. Moreover, he admitted to the fact that there is a like-minded cabal pushing the destruction of nation-states worldwide. It is unnecessary to mention, that the same objective was cherished by every tyrant over the last thousand year or longer. Kissinger’s speech (speech accessible through link provided) The Americas and the World sums up quite clearly the prime goal that all transnational bodies of power are working towards. We were taught about international affairs in terms of national states. That was the international system that emerged in Europe at the end of the 30-years war when it was decided that a concept of sovereignty should be the dominating element of international politics.
Sovereignty, Kissinger went on to explain, meant that each state was free to do within its borders substantially what it decide to do… and that international affairs was the relation of states with each other along clearly defined national borders. He proceeded to exclaim that this system has come to an end- not in the last place by the interventions, I must add, of Kissinger himself. That system is now changing fundamentally. In Europe the national state which brought about the greatness of the various European countries, is in the process of being abandoned. And European countries freely are ceding their… much of their sovereignty, and will do more, to the European Union. Now this is one of the creative acts of the current period..Here he arrives at the current struggle between the globalists and the ones valuing national sovereignty. The European Union has not yet been able to generate the commitment in the political world and psychological world that the European state could create. So in a way policy-making in Europe is caught between a path which is being rejected and a future which is not yet reached.I will tell you, he concluded in his speech, that however our elections ends (…), a number of us in both parties have concluded that when it’s over, we are going to make an effort to bring about a bipartisan outcome, or direction of foreign policy. We may disagree on practical things, but we want to get the debate back to a consensus about our purposes and the debate about tactics- which is the way democracies function. (…). When the smoke clears, the issues that I described will still be there. (…) I think those who have seen this now for a few decades will make an effort to come together to give it a direction which unifies our people and hopefully as many of the rest of the world as we can convince to come with us.
No mistake here. The issues Kissinger talks about, are those concerning national sovereignty as an outdated system, replacing it with an international system without borders. A one world government. Let me repeat his last comment:… however our elections ends (…), a number of us in both parties have concluded that when it’s over, we are going to make an effort to bring about a bipartisan outcome, or direction of foreign policy. So, Kissinger admits that, regardless of the outcome of the presidential elections of 08, those who in both parties have seen that the destruction of sovereignty is both inevitable and desirable, will make an effort to come together to move further in the direction of a brave new world without borders. Ron Paul therefore was absolutely spot on when he stated at the November 2008 debate in Florida:It’s not so much a secretive conspiracy. It’s a contest between ideologies, whether we believe in our institutions here, our national sovereignty, our constitution- or are we going to further move in the direction of international government, more UN. You know, this country goes to war under UN resolutions. I don’t like big government in Washington, so I don’t like this trend toward international government.(….) It’s not so much as a sinister conspiracy, it’s just: knowledge is out there. If we look for it, you’ll realize that our national sovereignty is under threat.

The McVeigh Tapes: A Fairy Tale Designed to Demonize the Patriot Movement
Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com April 25, 2010
On the fifteenth anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, MSNBC ran a documentary supposedly detailing Timothy McVeigh’s death row confession. The documentary — actually a fairy tale of easily debunked government propaganda hosted by the progressive Rachel Maddow — employs alleged tape recordings of McVeigh coupled with cheesy computer simulations intended to dredge up the government version of events and thus rekindle hysteria manufactured in the 1990s concerning the threat posed by militias and patriot groups. The McVeigh Tapes aired on April 19, 2010. Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12.The documentary omits a large amount of evidence that seriously undermines the government version repeated and amplified by the corporate media, including:McVeigh said he was attacking the government in response to Waco, and yet no BATF or FBI agents were killed or injured and badge carrying federal agents were mysteriously absent from the Alfred E. Murrah building on the morning of the attack. Why were all BATF personnel away from their desks on a regular weekday morning? Did someone tip them off in advance? asks Steven Yates.U.S. Judge Wayne Alley had an office in the Murrah Building. He was tipped off by the Justice Department that there would be a terrorist attack on a federal building. Judge Alley’s statement about this was published in the Portland Oregonian. The Oklahoma City Fire Department was also allegedly warned by the FBI the weekend before the attack. If we are to believe MSNBC’s crude propaganda, McVeigh acted alone on the morning of the attack. And yet more than 70 witnesses claimed to have seen Timothy McVeigh on the day of the explosion with others conveniently excluded from the MSNBC presentation.
Jane Graham, a ninth floor survivor of the bombing, said she saw two men who were caught on camera walking away from the building with walkie-talkies after the bombing. She said that she had noticed these men in the building prior to the bombing wearing General Services Administration maintenance uniforms and she did not recognize the men as GSA employees. Ms. Graham was ignored when she contacted the FBI about what she saw.Alex Jones interviewed Jane Graham on April 20, 2010. Part 2.
Other witnesses saw a bomb squad at the scene prior to the bombing. The day was fine, everything was normal when I arrived for work at about 7:45 a.m. There was some talk about the bomb squad among the employees at our office. We wondered what it was doing in our parking lot. Around nine I heard and felt a huge explosion. Then someone said it had to be a bomb, and we all knew. I remembered the bomb squad in our parking lot and knew what had happened,a woman identified as Norma told a reporter.Norma subsequently quit her job and went into hiding and refused to speak again to any reporters or investigators. So have a number of other people who saw the heavily armed and equipped bomb squad in the area up to three hours before the blast, notes Team Infinity. And rightfully so. A significant number of people related to the OK City bombing have mysteriously died, including Oklahoma City police officers Terrance Yeakey, Gordon Martin and Ken Griffin, a number of Oklahoma City firefighters, Dr. H. Don Chumley, GSA employee Mike Loudenslager and others.
Evidence of more than one person in the Ryder truck, evidence Maddow and MSNBC ignored. The MSNBC documentary makes it look like cobbling together a fertilizer bomb is relatively easy. But according to Department of the Army and Air Force Technical Manual No. 9-1910, entitled Military Explosives, an ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil) bomb requires a greater than 99% purity of ammonium nitrate before it can be mixed with diesel fuel to create an explosive substance. The 7,000 pounds of explosive the MSNBC documentary claims McVeigh used to build his bomb with a reluctant Terry Nichols would not have been enough to cause the damage. The ANFO mixture also requires low humidity, and yet McVeigh and Nichols allegedly cooked up their bomb on the banks of Geary Lake in Kansas. When I first saw the picture of the truck bomb’s asymmetrical damage to the Federal building in Oklahoma, my immediate reaction was that the pattern of damage would have been technically impossible without supplementary demolition charges at some of the reinforced concrete bases inside the building, a standard demolition technique, explained retired Air Force Brigadier General Benton K. Partin, former commander of the Air Force Armament Technology Laboratory, and a 25-year expert in the design and development of bombs. [R]einforced concrete targets in large buildings are hard targets to blast. I know of no way possible to reproduce the apparent building damage through simply a truck bomb effort,Partin said. General Partin’s request to have the bomb site preserved in order to examine the possibility of a second explosion was ignored by the government.
Joe Harp, a man with military explosives experience, stated in an affidavit there was a strong sulfur smell in the air that was very reminiscent of the gas-enhanced Daisy cutter bombs I am familiar with from my tours of duty in Vietnam… It was not an ANFO smell. In May 1995, former Senior Special Agent in Charge of the FBI in Los Angeles, Ted Gunderson, produced an evaluation of the bombing that revealed two distinct seismograph events. Dr. Raymond Brown, a senior geophysicist, analyzed the seismograph data and concluded there was a bomb inside the building. Geophysicist Charles Mankin, Director of the University of Oklahoma’s Geological Survey, also said two explosions occurred, the second coming approximately eight seconds after the first. The U.S. Geological Survey decided not released this data.An affidavit signed by Tiffany Bible, a paramedic for the Emergency Medical Services Authority, indicates she overheard an ATF agent and members of law enforcement discussing the removal of a fifty pound bomb from a gas line inside the building.A Department of Defense Atlantic Command Memo issued 36 hours after the event reported that a second bomb was disarmed [and] a third bomb was evacuated. This was confirmed by a U.S. Forces Command Daily Log that stated at least two additional bombs were located [in the] vicinity [of the] explosion site. Evidently intended for the rescuers. Oklahoma Highway Patrol radio logs also reported secondary bombs at the site.
News reports indicating multiple bombs.Maddow explains how McVeigh was tracked down by a VIN number found on the axle of the Ryder truck he rented. No rear axle on any vehicle manufactured in America is imprinted with a VIN, even after recent legislation forcing manufacturers to place multiple VINS on the engine, firewall, and frame to discourage chop shops, notes Team Infinity. When queried, a spokesman for Ryder told reporters than it does not imprint additional VINS on its trucks. The only conceivable number available on a rear axle is a part number, but a part number couldn’t lead to the identification of a specific vehicle. The FBI was unable to provide any forensic evidence linking McVeigh to the Ryder truck or the explosives. An FBI fingerprint expert conceded today that no fingerprints of Oklahoma bombing defendant Timothy J. McVeigh were found on a rental receipt for the Ryder truck used in the blast, inside the Ryder dealership, inside lockers the government believes were used to store explosives used in the bomb, or on the Ryder truck key found in an Oklahoma City alley after the bombing, the Washington Post reported on May 16, 1997.In 2005, the AFP reported that a raid on the one-time home of Terry Nichols turned up evidence implicating federal agents in the bombing. A source has told AFP that bomb components discovered at the former home of the OKC bombing accomplice have been linked to a federal informant who investigators believe lied during the trial of Timothy McVeigh,Pat Shannan wrote for the American Free Press on April 10, 2005. Nichols pointed to a an FBI informant named Roger Moore. Those familiar with the details of the case say Nichols has evidently come to conclude — as have many independent investigators — that he (Nichols) and McVeigh were being manipulated prior to the bombing by federal authorities in what was intended to be a sting the feds would use as proof of their skill in tackling domestic terrorist threats from radical right wing extremists,Shannan writes.
In 2007, Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue put the final nail in the coffin that is the OK City Bombing conspiracy. The attorney who was able to obtain a declaration from Terry Nichols fingering an FBI agent as directing Timothy McVeigh says that the documents attached to the affidavit indicate that the Oklahoma City bombing was an inside job, write Paul Joseph Watson and Alex Jones. In January 1996, Trentadue received an anonymous phone call telling him that his brother Kenneth had been murdered by the FBI in a case of mistaken identity because his brother had fit the profile of a member of a group called the Midwest Bank Robbery Gang that had been robbing banks to fund an attack on the federal government. This led Trentadue to file a lawsuit in Utah ordering the FBI to release all documents relating to a failed sting operation they were running at a white supremacist paramilitary training camp in Elohim City, eastern Oklahoma, and its connection to the bombing on April 19 1995.During the process of his lawsuit, Trentadue was able to receive documents with names blacked out that show the FBI’s OKC bombing informants were conducting armed robberies with Timothy McVeigh in order to fund the construction of the fertilizer bomb used in the attack on the federal building,Watson and Jones explain. One of the foreign informants was actually the explosives instructor who taught him how to make the bomb, said Trentadue, confirming that Nichols told him the criminal activities were part of a process of creating a ledger or a storyboard to which the government’s version of events could later be pinned to.
I think they put together this harebrained idea at Elohim City to lure in all these militia groups under the pretense of teaching them how to rob banks in armored cars and attack the federal government and I think they planned to catch them in the act, said Trentadue. As it turns out, the Southern Poverty Law Center (the SPLC’s propaganda minister Mark Potok figures prominently in the MSNBC propaganda piece) was engaged in an undercover role where they monitored subjects for the FBI believed to be linked to executed bomber Timothy McVeigh, the white supremacist compound at Elohim City and the mysterious German national Andreas Carl Strassmeir, the McCurtain Daily Gazette reported on December 14, 2003.Strassmeir, a German intelligence operative, was implicated in the bombing by the former Pentagon intelligence officer Bill McCoy (who died mysteriously after making this information public). In 1996, Strassmeir was named as a US federal informant with material knowledge of the bombing, according to a report published in The Telegraph. All of this evidence is ignored by MSNBC and Rachel Maddow. MSNBC’s The McVeigh Tapes is nothing but cynical propaganda designed to demonize the patriot and militia movements and feed into the current round of hysteria over the right-wing Tea Party movement and link it to violence and racist paranoia invented by the government and telegraphed the Mockingbird corporate media.
Finally, it should be noted that McVeigh and Nichols were not connected to the militia movement of the 1990s, although this is a common assertion made by the government and the corporate media. There is not a single piece of concrete evidence to connect either Timothy McVeigh or Terry Nichols to any militia or right-wing group, notes the Team Infinity researchers. Why has the news media refused to acknowledge this fact and continued to spread the patently false assertion that McVeigh was a member of a militia group? By definition, a terrorist must take credit for his violence, or else there is no compelling reason to commit a crime. The specific purpose of terrorism is to gain a political end through the credible threat to commit future acts of violence. No one has claimed credit for the Oklahoma City bombing. Militia and right-wing groups, the alleged masterminds and presumed beneficiaries, have been particularly vehement in denouncing the explosion and in many cases have cooperated directly with Federal agencies to absolve themselves of any involvement. The only statement of alleged political motive comes from the very government which was attacked. The OK City bombing was a false flag attack perpetuated by the government to gain a political end and that end was to demonize political opposition. It is an effort that continues today and will expand as the political opposition gains popular support.

Tornadoes kill 10, destroys homes in southern US
Sat Apr 24, 10:39 pm ET
WASHINGTON (AFP) – Tornadoes tore through the southern US state of Mississippi, killing at least 10 people, injuring nearly two dozen and destroying homes, officials said.Victims of Saturday's severe spring storms and tornadoes included two children -- one as young as three months and the other 14 -- a husband and his wife in Choctaw County, Mississippi Emergency Management Agency spokesman Jeff Rent told AFP.The toll was expected to mount as rescuers cleared the debris after the storms tore roofs off buildings, reduced homes to rubble, overturned vehicles, downed power lines and toppled trees.Rescuers struggled to get to hard-hit Yazoo County, nestled in hills rising sharply out of the Mississippi Delta. In some cases, they resorted to all-terrain vehicles to reach victims.
Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour declared a state of emergency in 17 counties devastated by the storms and twisters, and called on the National Guard to help local officials in their emergency response.American Red Cross workers have also been dispatched to areas affected by the severe weather. The effects of these storms have left many Mississippians with destroyed businesses and without homes,Barbour said in a statement.Downed trees and power lines damaged 30 homes and closed two roads in Warren County alone.
Strong tornadoes meanwhile developed in neighboring states.
Four victims were flown by helicopter from hard-hit Yazoo City to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, while the American Medical Response service transported 17 others by ambulance to area hospitals, said AMR spokesman Jim Pollard.
Emergency response teams set up two shelters to house storm victims in Vicksburg and Yazoo City. The tornado that blasted through Yazoo City was nearly a mile (1.6 kilometers) wide with winds of about 150 miles (241 km) per hour, according to meteorologists. It reminds me of (Hurricane) Katrina, a teary-eyed Barbour told local reporters of the damage in his native Yazoo City.AMR operations in other parts of the state were dispatching ambulances to affected areas, while the emergency management agency in Rankin County sent a bus converted to a multi-patient ambulance.
The patients had a range of injuries from minor to severe. In any tornado, any part of the body is vulnerable or susceptible to a wide variety of injuries,Pollard said, noting that other walking wounded patients were treated on site.
Barbour was in Yazoo City when the tornado struck.
He was going through some of the damaged areas and talking to some of the people who suffered the damage, said his spokesman Dan Turner, noting that some building were completely leveled; they are no longer there. We're still looking at the possibility of more damage,he warned. We're still in the early stages. The storms cut through a large swath of the country, with areas in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana were placed under tornado watches and warnings as severe thunderstorms swept over the region. The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center is forecasting the development of a few strong, long-track tornadoes over parts of the mid-south, central Gulf Coast states and Tennessee Valley this afternoon and evening,it said in an outlook statement. This is a particularly dangerous situation.
Sandstorm, snow close air link to China quake zone
Sun Apr 25, 3:18 am ET
BEIJING (Reuters) – A choking sandstorm and heavy snow have severed a vital air link to the remote quake-hit Chinese county of Yushu, severely affecting relief efforts, state media said on Sunday. An earthquake earlier this month in Yushu, high on the Tibetan plateau in western Qinghai province, killed more than 2,000 people and left thousands of others homeless in freezing temperatures.Yushu's airport, only opened last year, has been an important part of the rescue mission following the quake, enabling aid workers and supplies to bypass the 800 km (500 mile) road trip from provincial capital Xining, and helping in evacuations of the injured. But heavy snow has closed that airport, and a sandstorm sweeping across northwest China has closed Xining airport, state news agency Xinhua said. All the six daily flights from Xining to Yushu were delayed,it quoted a Xining airport spokesman as saying. It is unknown when flights will resume. The dust has penetrated the terminal, covering chairs with yellow grit and stranding hundreds of rescuers, the report added.Large swathes of China are often hit by dust or sand storms at this time of year.
The government has spent millions of dollars on projects to rein in the spread of deserts, planting trees and trying to protect what plant cover remains in marginal areas. But the battle is being fought against a backdrop of rising average temperatures and increasing pressure on water resources after three decades of booming growth.(Reporting by Ben Blanchard; Editing by Jerry Norton)

80 Afghan schoolgirls sick in week; poison feared By RAHIM FAIEZ, Associated Press Writer - APR 25,10
KABUL – More than 80 schoolgirls have fallen ill in three cases of mass sickness over the past week in northern Afghanistan, raising fears that militants who oppose education for girls are using poison to scare them away from school, authorities said Sunday. The latest case occurred Sunday when 13 girls became sick at school, Kunduz provincial spokesman Mahbobullah Sayedi said. Another 47 complained of dizziness and nausea on Saturday, and 23 got sick last Wednesday. All complained of a strange smell in class before they fell ill.None of the illnesses have been serious, and medical officials were still investigating the exact cause. The Health Ministry in Kunduz said blood samples were inconclusive and were being sent to Kabul for further testing.Sayedi blamed the sickness on enemies who oppose education for girls. Presidential spokesman Waheed Omar said any attempt to keep girls out of school is a terrorist act.The Taliban and other conservative extremist groups in Afghanistan who oppose female education have been known to target schoolgirls. Girls were not allowed to attend school when the Taliban controlled most of Afghanistan until they were ousted in the 2001 U.S.-led invasion.
Last year, dozens of schoolgirls were hospitalized in Kapisa province, just northeast of Kabul, after many collapsed with headaches and nausea. A strange odor filled the schoolyard before the students fell ill. The Taliban was blamed, but research into similar mass sickenings elsewhere has suggested that some might be the result of group hysteria.Meanwhile, the Taliban said they shot down a helicopter early Sunday in western Farah province. Spokesman Qari Yousef Ahmadi claimed the attack in a call to The Associated Press but did not provide further details.NATO said a helicopter belonging to a civilian contractor was forced to make an emergency landing in Farah, but said the landing was due to reported mechanical problems. There were no initial reports of injuries, NATO said. Also Sunday, a suicide bomber attacked private security guards while they were at a bazaar in southeastern Afghanistan, killing four Afghans and wounding 12, the government said. Two of the dead and five of the wounded worked for the U.S. Protection and Investigations security firm, an Interior Ministry statement said. The other victims were civilians.
The Houston-based company could not immediately be reached for comment. The suicide attacker, who was on foot, targeted the guards at a bazaar in Sahjoy district of Zabul province, the ministry said.Elsewhere in Afghanistan, witnesses said hundreds of people blocked a main road in Logar province, west of Kabul, and burned several trucks to protest what they said were civilian deaths in NATO operations. They gathered hours after NATO said coalition troops killed several insurgents and captured a Taliban sub-commander.The people are very angry, they are saying these people killed are innocent civilians, provincial spokesman Din Mohammad Darwesh told The Associated Press.Civilian deaths caused by U.S. and other international forces are highly sensitive in Afghanistan. Public outrage over such deaths prompted the top commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal last year to tighten the rules on the use of airstrikes and other weaponry if civilians are at risk.Last week, hundreds of residents in Logar protested another NATO operation, saying they were not convinced the victims were actually Taliban fighters.Logar is a strategic province because it controls southern land routes into Kabul, allowing weapons, explosives and fighters to move into the capital.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Iran fires short-range missiles in Gulf war games
Sun Apr 25, 4:54 am ET
TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's state television says the country has fired a series of missiles as part of an ongoing large-scale military maneuvers in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz. The TV report Sunday said five ground-to-sea and sea-to-sea missiles were simultaneously fired. It did not elaborate on the specifications of the missiles or say whether they are new. However, the semiofficial Fars news agency said on Saturday that four types of short-range missiles would be launched Sunday in the war games, including Nasr 1, a short-range cruise capable of destroying targets up to 3,000 tons in size.Iran's Revolutionary Guard began Thursday the war games, an annual show of military strength that often leads to heightened tension in the region.
Iran Guards fire five missiles: media
APR 25,10
TEHRAN (AFP) – Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards fired five missiles on Sunday as part of ongoing war games in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, state media reported.
The shore-to-sea and sea-to-sea missiles struck at a single target simultaneously, state television reported.Fars news agency named two of those tested as the Noor (Light) and Nasr (Victory) missiles. It said a third, having a range of over 300 kilometres was also fired, but did not name it.The Guards have been conducting a military drill since Thursday in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow strategically located waterway through which 40 percent of world's seaborne oil supplies pass.Iran's missile programme has raised concerns in the West which is already at loggerheads with Tehran over its controversial nuclear project. The Islamic republic boasts of having missiles that can hit targets in arch-foe Israel.
Debt crisis in Greece top issue at finance meeting By HARRY DUNPHY and MARTIN CRUTSINGER, Associated Press Writers - APR 25,10
WASHINGTON – The deepening Greek debt crisis remains uppermost in the minds of financial leaders as they wrap up a weekend conference pledging to address the risks facing the global economic recovery. One danger arises from governments with budgets deeply in the red, such as Greece. Another, perhaps more worrisome, is still-rising unemployment in many advanced countries.Finance ministers and central bankers agreed that recovery from the deepest recession since the end of World War II will take more effort. The worst is definitely behind us, but we are not out of the woods yet, Egyptian Finance Minister Youssef Boutros-Ghali, the chairman of the International Monetary Fund steering committee, told reporters.Greece's finance minister, George Papaconstantinou, continued intense talks with top officials of the IMF and the European Union on a multibillion dollar rescue package to meet his country's massive debt obligations. Parallel negotiations were under way in Athens. Papaconstantinou planned a Sunday session with Dominique Strauss-Khan, the head of the IMF.The weekend talks end Sunday with discussions of a steering committee for the World Bank, the IMF's sister lending organization, the biggest provider of development loans.
Security remained tight around the adjacent IMF-World Bank headquarters buildings three blocks from the White House. But protests were low-key, unlike past years when demonstrators clashed with police.U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner urged the Greek government, European officials and the IMF to move quickly to put in place a package of strong reforms and substantial concrete financial support.Geithner took part in a meeting at IMF headquarters which included Papaconstantinou, Strauss-Kahn and Olli Rehn, the European Commission's top economic official.Greece is hoping to obtain loans of about $40 billion from the group of 16 European countries which, like Greece, use the euro as a common currency, and an additional $13.4 billion from the IMF. Crippled by soaring borrowing costs, Greece on Friday made a formal request for the aid. Prime Minister George Papandreou declared in a televised address that his country's economy was a sinking ship.Canadian Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said Saturday that while he didn't have a view on the proper size of a rescue program for Greece, finance officials from some other nations, including some in Europe, have expressed concerns that the current level may not be sufficient.European and IMF officials, however, have made clear that their support will carry a high price: putting Greece's fiscal house in order. Greece has already agreed to begin an austerity program that cuts civil servants' pay, freezes pensions and raises taxes. But the country faces years of painful cutbacks and doubts about its long-term finances. The austerity program has already generated massive street protests in Greece and labor strikes.Associated Press writers Ana Azpurua and Christine Simmons contributed to this report.
SINS OF PEOPLE
2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1 TIMOTHY 1:9
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
DECIEVERS WAXING WORSE AND WORSE.
2 TIMOTHY 3:13
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
MORE SIN SIGNS
EPHESIANS 5:5-8
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Goldman e-mails show how crash turned into cash By DANIEL WAGNER and DAN STRUMPF, AP Business Writers - Sun Apr 25, 4:57 am ET
NEW YORK – As the U.S. housing turned downward in January 2007, a Goldman Sachs trader wrote in e-mails to a woman he apparently was courting that investments he had sold were like Frankenstein turning against his own inventor.I'm trading a product which a month ago was worth $100 and today is only worth $93,wrote Fabrice Tourre, who was charged along with the bank in a civil complaint filed this month by the Securities and Exchange Commission. That doesn't seem like a lot but when you take into account ... (the investments) are worth billions, well it adds up to a lot of money.Tourre was talking about investment products like the one at the heart of a federal complaint against his firm. For Tourre, the investments were like an invention gone awry: He had started arranging them when the market was on the upswing. But he continued selling them after the market turned — now with Goldman betting against them, in one case allegedly misleading investors about a deal's origin.Goldman Sachs Group Inc. released that e-mail and 25 other internal documents Saturday in response to a Senate panel's release of messages in which Goldman executives boast about money they were making as the market imploded later in 2007.
When credit rating agencies downgraded many billions of dollars of mortgage-backed investments in October 2007, Goldman executive Donald Mullen was unabashedly pleased.
Sounds like we will make serious money,Mullen wrote to Michael Swenson, another executive, in one of the e-mails released by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
Goldman has argued vehemently that it did not profit from the mortgage meltdown.
Swenson and Tourre, along with Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein, will face a public grilling on Capitol Hill Tuesday from the subcommittee. Also this week, the full Senate will take up a proposed overhaul of financial regulation intended to toughen oversight of Wall Street and make the financial system more transparent. Republican leaders oppose the measures. And Goldman has been in the glare of a particularly unforgiving spotlight since the SEC filed civil fraud charges this month over the investments Tourre was selling and discussing in his e-mail.The SEC alleges Goldman misled two investors — IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, a German bank, and ACA Management LLC, a U.S. bond insurance company — who bought complex mortgage-related products crafted in part by Paulson & Co., a New York hedge fund led by billionaire John Paulson. Paulson was betting the market would collapse. The SEC says Goldman didn't tell the investors that Paulson was involved in choosing the investments or that he was betting they would fail.Goldman has denied wrongdoing and says it will fight the charges. It has said it lost money on the particular deal of Tourre's that the SEC charges address.
The SEC complaint contains excerpts from the same Tourre e-mail chains that Goldman released in full Saturday. The firm's move puts on full display the personal life of the trader, who had boasted that the market would implode, leaving only him standing. And it does so days before he makes his public debut.Obviously, the content of the e-mails is highly embarrassing, but we've found no evidence of wrongdoing,Goldman spokesman Samuel Robinson said.Goldman's relative strength during the financial crisis and the prominence of many former Goldman executives have made the firm a lightning-rod for public anger over Wall Street's greed and recklessness. Even before the SEC charges were filed, the long-secretive bank was fighting accusations that its bets helped trigger and fuel the financial crisis.Goldman also has become a useful symbol for Democrats in the escalating debate over the financial overhaul. In fact, Republicans charge that Democrats in the Senate and on the SEC are using the public's anger toward Goldman to build support for their plan. The subcommittee will brief reporters about the Goldman hearing on Monday, the same day the Senate will have its first test vote on the Obama administration's financial package. The panel is expected to release documents that will be covered Monday evening online and in Tuesday's papers next to reports on the overhaul vote.
The SEC's inspector general confirmed Friday that he will look into the timing of the charges and possible leaks by the commission. The internal e-mails among Goldman executives were released by subcommittee chair Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich. In a statement, Levin called banks like Goldman self-interested promoters of risky and complicated financial schemes that helped trigger the crisis. In a statement Saturday, Goldman spokesman Lucas Van Praag said the bank lost $1.2 billion in the residential mortgage market during 2007 and 2008. As a firm, we obviously could not have been significantly net short since we lost money in a declining housing market, Van Praag said in a statement. Van Praag is among the executives who wrote the e-mails the Senate committee released. He said the panel cherry-picked four threads out of 20 million pages Goldman provided. Of course we didn't dodge the mortgage mess,CEO Lloyd Blankfein wrote in a message dated Nov. 18, 2007.We lost money, then made more than we lost because of shorts.Short positions are bets that the market will go down. When the market went bust, people with short positions cleaned up.
Earlier in 2007, Goldman Chief Financial Officer David Viniar showed in one of the e-mail threads that the firm made more than $50 million in one day on bets the housing market would founder. Viniar, also scheduled to testify Tuesday, summed up the contrast between Goldman's gains and the situation of investors who had not bet against the market: Tells you what might be happening to people who don't have the big short.Wagner reported from Washington.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
ZEPHANIAH 1:18

MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
REVELATION 8:7

REVELATION 9:18

LUKE 17:34-37
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.(Christians have new bodies, this is the people against Jerusalem during the 7 yr treaty)(Christians bodies are not being eaten by the birds).
MATTHEW 24:37-51
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
SKorean minister: Torpedo likely sank warship By HYUNG-JIN KIM, Associated Press Writer - APR 25,10
SEOUL, South Korea – An explosion from a torpedo likely sank a South Korean warship that went down near the tense border with North Korea last month, the South's defense minister said Sunday amid growing speculation Pyongyang may be behind the blast.Defense Minister Kim Tae-young said the most likely cause of the disaster was a torpedo exploding near the ship, with the force of the underwater blast ripping the vessel apart. Investigators who examined salvaged wreckage separately announced Sunday that a close-range, external explosion likely sank it.Basically, I think the bubble jet effect caused by a heavy torpedo is the most likely cause for the blast, Kim told reporters.Kim, however, did not speculate on who may have fired it and said an investigation was ongoing and it's still too early to determine the cause.
Seoul has not directly blamed North Korea for the blast, and Pyongyang has denied its involvement, but suspicion remains given the country's history of provocation and attacks on the South. Local media have increasingly been speculating the disaster was due to a North Korean attack. The Cheonan was on a routine patrol on March 26 when the unexplained explosion split it in two in one of South Korea's worst naval disasters. Forty bodies have been recovered so far, but six crew members are still unaccounted for and are presumed dead. The site of the sinking is near where the rival Koreas fought three times since 1999, most recently a November clash that left one North Korean soldier dead and three others wounded. The two Koreas are still technically at war because their 1950-53 Korean War ended in a truce, not a peace treaty.Kim told lawmakers shortly after the blast that a North Korean torpedo or mine was among the suspected culprits. He said earlier this month that a torpedo attack was more likely. Also Sunday, investigators said a preliminary investigation of the front part of the 1,200-ton ship — retrieved the day before — pointed to an external explosion. In conclusion, after the initial visual inspection of the severed surface and the inside and outside of the hull, we assume the case is underwater explosion, chief investigator Yoon Duk-yong told reporters. And looking at the form of the deformation, it is highly likely that a non-contact explosion was the case rather than a contact explosion.
But he said it's still too early to determine what caused the explosion.
Earlier Sunday, Prime Minister Chung Un-chan said South Korea will take stern action against whoever was behind the explosion as the country started a five-day funeral for the 46 dead and missing sailors. Makeshift alters were set up in Seoul and other major cities to allow citizens to pay their respect to the sailors. We will remember all of you in the name of the Republic of Korea to let you keep alive in our hearts, said Chung, clad in a black suit and tie. The 46 sailors will be promoted by one rank and awarded posthumous medals, he said.In Pyongyang, the North marked the 78th anniversary of the foundation of the country's military Sunday with a vow to mercilessly punish any hostile moves by the imperialist enemies,a term it uses when referring to the U.S.Pyongyang routinely accuses the U.S. of plotting to invade the North, despite the repeated denials by Washington. If the imperialist enemies intrude into the North's territory, its army will beat them back at a stroke by mercilessly showering bombs and shells on them, the North's main Rodong Sinmun newspaper said in an editorial carried by the official Korean Central News Agency. It didn't mention the ship sinking.

Signs of progress as Obama envoy wraps up mission By MOHAMMED DARAGHMEH, Associated Press Writer - APR 25,10
RAMALLAH, West Bank – President Barack Obama's Middle East envoy wrapped up his latest diplomatic mission Sunday without getting the Palestinians to agree to indirect peace talks with Israel, but there were signs the impasse could be broken soon.George Mitchell said he would return to the region next week, signaling he is making progress.Palestinian officials said President Mahmoud Abbas plans to consult with Arab countries at the end of the week and could soon be heading to the White House for talks with Obama.Abbas needs to decide whether to engage with Israel, with Mitchell as a go-between, even though Israel has rejected his demands to freeze new construction for Jews in east Jerusalem, the Palestinians' hoped-for capital.A senior Palestinian official said Abbas was inclined to agree to the talks, in large part because of personal appeals in recent days from Obama, Mitchell and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was discussing internal Palestinian deliberations. The Palestinians have low expectations of the U.S.-brokered talks, but also want to avoid offending Obama and do not want to be cast in the role of nay-sayers.At the start of Israel's weekly Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Israel's talks with Mitchell as very positive and voiced hope that the Palestinians would return immediately to the negotiating table.Mitchell has been shuttling between the two sides for more than a year, hoping to relaunch negotiations that collapsed in late 2008.
The Palestinians have said they will only resume direct negotiations if Israel agrees to freeze all settlement construction in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. Israel has refused, agreeing only to a temporary slowdown in the West Bank, but not in Jerusalem. As a way out of the impasse, Mitchell proposed shuttling between the two sides. Indirect talks were to begin last month, but were derailed after Israel announced a major east Jerusalem construction project during a visit by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. Some 180,000 Israelis live in Jewish neighborhoods that ring east Jerusalem, which Israel captured and annexed in the 1967 Mideast war. The international community, including the U.S., does not recognize the annexation.
Some of the most contentious Israeli activity in east Jerusalem is taking place in the heart of Palestinian neighborhoods. On Sunday morning, about three dozen ultranationalist Jews carrying Israeli flags marched through one of those neighborhoods to dramatize their claim to the eastern sector of the contested holy city.Palestinian protesters burned tires and garbage and threw rocks and two firebombs at Israeli police, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets. Police said three people were arrested. There were no serious injuries.Mitchell, meanwhile, left the region after meeting separately Friday with Abbas and Netanyahu, and once more with the Israeli leader on Sunday. The U.S. State Department said Mitchell would return next week.Abbas is to consult with Arab League representatives Saturday on whether to agree to the indirect talks. In previous consultations, the Arab League had given Abbas the green light. Arab approval would give Abbas extra backing to sell the talks to a skeptical public.
The U.S. has since been trying to coax Abbas back to the table.Last week, Obama wrote to Abbas, promising to work hard to achieve a comprehensive Mideast peace deal and asking the Palestinian leader to agree to indirect talks, according to an Abbas aide who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the content of the letter with the media. Obama also wrote that he looks forward to seeing Abbas soon, the aide said. He said an Obama-Abbas meeting could take place in the second half of May, but that no formal invitation was issued and no date set.
Another Abbas adviser, Saeb Erekat, said the Palestinians had requested a White House meeting in the past, and that Mitchell told them that Obama agreed to such a meeting. Erekat also said no date has been set. Word of an expected meeting came a day after Abbas publicly expressed his frustration with what the Palestinians perceive as the Obama administration's failure to extract concessions from Israel. In a speech to leaders of his Fatah movement, Abbas noted that Obama has defined a Palestinian state alongside Israel as a vital U.S. interest. Since you, Mr. President and you, the members of the American administration, believe in this, it is your duty to call for the steps in order to reach the solution and impose the solution — impose it,Abbas said.
Rocket found in waters off Israel's southern coast
APR 25,10
JERUSALEM – Remains of a rocket have been discovered in the waters off Israel's southern border, just days after one struck neighboring Jordan, across the Red Sea.
Israeli media had reported Thursday that two rockets hit Jordan's Red Sea port city of Aqaba and Israel's nearby port of Eilat.Jordan confirmed that a Grad rocket struck an Aqaba warehouse, but the Israeli military said at the time that it found no evidence of anything landing in Israel. On Sunday, the military said two civilians reported finding a suspected rocket off Eilat's coast over the weekend. The Israeli navy later recovered the remains of a 122 mm Grad. The military says it isn't clear where the rocket was launched or if it was related to the one that struck Jordan.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV

18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

LEVITICUS 21:1 - 24:23
1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
3 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7 They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
12 Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
15 Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
20 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23 Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
24 And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
LEVITICUS 22:1-33
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.
3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.
4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
5 Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;
6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.
7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.
8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.
9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.
10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
11 But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.
12 If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
13 But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.
14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.
15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;
16 Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
17 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;
19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.
20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.
23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
24 Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.
25 Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28 And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.
29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.
30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.
31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,
33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
LEVITICUS 23:1-44
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.
18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.
19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.
21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.
23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
33 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
LEVITICUS 24:1-23
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
3 Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
4 He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.
5 And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.
6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.
7 And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
9 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.
10 And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
11 And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)
12 And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.
13 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
14 Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
15 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.
16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.
17 And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.
18 And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.
19 And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
21 And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.
22 Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.
23 And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

EZEKIEL 44:15-31
15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
16 They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
17 And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
18 They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
19 And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.
20 Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.
21 Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.
22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before.
23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
25 And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves.
26 And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days.
27 And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the Lord GOD.
28 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.
29 They shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs.
30 And the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
31 The priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast.

10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19 Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
20 Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

10 And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
19 And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
20 Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
PROPHETS PORTION

MATTHEW 5:38-42
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
GALATIONS 3:26-29
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
