LUKE 16:20-31 (HELL-TORMENT)(PARADISE-COMFORT)
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.(HELL-PARADISE SIDE BY SIDE EACH OTHER)
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
JESUS AFTER HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS SPENT THE NEXT 2 DAYS IN HELL PREACHING TO THE SINNERS THAT DIED TO REPENT AND ACCEPT HIS BLOOD SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS FOR THEIR SINS.FROM ADAM TO THE DEATH OF CHRIST THERE WAS NO ONE THAT COULD TAKE SIN FROM PEOPLE EXCEPT WHEN JESUS DIED.THATS WHY THERE WAS HADES AND PARADISE BEFORE JESUS DEATH.THE SINNERS WENT TO HADES(HELL SIDE)AND THE RIGHTEOUS WENT TO THE PARADISE SIDE.
AFTER JESUS PREACHED IN HADES OR HELL FOR THE 2 DAYS THE REPENTERS PROBABLY WENT TO THE PARADISE SIDE.THEN WHEN JESUS WENT TO HEAVEN THE PEOPLE IN PARADISE WERE RAPTURED WITH HIM AT THE RESURRECTION AND HADES OR HELL WAS LEFT WERE IT WAS WITH THE UNREPENTANT SINNERS IN IT UNTILL JESUS JUDGES THEM IN THE FUTURE AFTER HE RETURNS TO EARTH AFTER THE 7 YR TRIBULATION PERIOD AND HIS 1,000 YEAR REIGN FROM JERUSALEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
MATTHEW 27:50-66
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.
57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple:
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
Faithful gather for Good Friday in Jerusalem By MATTI FRIEDMAN, Associated Press Writer – Fri Apr 10, 1:29 pm ET
JERUSALEM – Thousands of Christian clergymen, worshippers and pilgrims thronged the alleyways of Jerusalem's Old City, chanting hymns and bearing crosses as they marked Good Friday by retracing Jesus' final footsteps.Hundreds attended prayers Friday morning at Jerusalem's Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Christian tradition says Jesus was crucified and resurrected.Brown-robed Roman Catholic friars filed into the ancient church after its wooden doors were unlocked. They were followed by pilgrims, some of whom fell to their knees to kiss a smooth stone believed to mark the spot where Jesus' body was placed after he was crucified.Steps away, inside the church, were the stairs leading to Golgotha, marking the site of the crucifixion. Nearby was the structure marking the site of the cave where Jesus is said to have been entombed.
Afterward, Christians filled the stone alleyways of Jerusalem's Old City in Good Friday processions following Jesus' route to his crucifixion. The processions retrace Christ's final journey down the Via Dolorosa, the Way of Sorrows, where 14 stations commemorate events that befell him as he was led to his death.Crowds pushed through the streets, with some bearing wooden crosses. Some groups chanted hymns in Latin, while local Christians sang in Arabic. One pilgrim, John Herder of Ontario, Canada, said he had traveled to Jerusalem for the occasion. It's a very moving experience, he said.A group of pilgrims from Orange County, California performed an annual re-enactment of the events of Good Friday. A man dressed as Jesus, wearing a loincloth and a crown of thorns, was taken through the streets by two men dressed as Roman legionnaires. They were escorted by curious bystanders snapping photos and a contingent of policemen, some of the hundreds of Israeli security personnel deployed to keep order. The Old City was full of visitors of different faiths Friday. The Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall was packed with people, many of them Jewish Israelis celebrating the festival of Passover. One of the key dates in the Christian calendar, Good Friday marks Christ's crucifixion and death, as recounted in the Bible. It is followed by the celebration of his resurrection on Easter Sunday.
Orthodox Christians follow a different calendar and mark Good Friday on April 17.
Pope presides over Way of the Cross procession By FRANCES D'EMILIO, Associated Press Writer APR 10,09
ROME – Pope Benedict XVI presided over a torch-lit Way of the Cross procession at the Colosseum on Good Friday and said he was praying so that people who suffered losses in Italy's devastating quake can see the light of hope in their dark hour.Tens of thousands of faithful, clutching prayer books and candles in paper lanterns, turned out for the traditional Holy Week appointment at the ancient Roman arena.Let us pray for all those who feel sorrow, above all for those suffering in the quake-stricken area of L'Aquila, Benedict urged, speaking at the end of the procession about the Apennine mountain town near the epicenter.Let us pray that the star of hope appears to them in this dark night,he said.Suffering and hope were the motif of the meditations read aloud as faithful carried the slender, lightweight cross in the shadows cast by the Colosseum's massive stones.Benedict told the faithful they had come to "sing together a hymn of hope. We want to tell ourselves that all is not lost in moments of difficulty.Benedict, who turns 82 next week, wore a crimson-colored, ermine-trimmed cape against the cool night air. Kneeling on a terrace overlooking the Colosseum, he folded his hands in prayer and bowed his head in reflection. The ritual commemorates Jesus' suffering in the hours before his crucifixion and his death on the cross.Jesus' face is reflected in that of every person who is humiliated and offended, sick and suffering, alone, abandoned and despised,Benedict said.
Through his suffering, Jesus has broken the solitude of our tears, he has entered our every grief and our every anxiety, the pope said in remarks at the end of the 90-minute long procession.Among those holding the cross were a young man in a wheelchair and a mother flanked by her family.A candlelit cross atop one of the monument's stone tiers twinkled in the night.Earlier in the day, Benedict sent a message to survivors at a mass funeral for many of those who perished in Monday's earthquake, urging them to continue to hope amid their sorrow. The 6.3 magnitude quake struck near the Apennine mountain town of L'Aquila as people slept, toppling apartment houses, collapsing churches and leaving many other building severely damaged. At least 290 people perished, more than 1,000 were injured and 40,000 were left homeless.Holy Week ceremonies culminate in Easter Sunday Mass in St. Peter's Square. On Saturday night, the pope will celebrate an Easter vigil Mass in St. Peter's Basilica.
Celebrate Jesus Christ’s Glorious Resurrection
I often ask myself where I’d be today had I not met Jesus in 1972. Frankly, I don’t even want to think about it, for my life would be empty now and meaningless.I’ve said to the Lord numerous times, It would have been better to never have been born than to not have met You.He has given my life glorious meaning and fulfillment and satisfied me beyond measure.Truly the richest man without Jesus is poor, and the poorest man with Jesus is rich. The songwriter said it beautifully when he wrote:
You are my everything,
You are my all;
You are my everything
Both great and small.
You gave Your life for me
And made everything new.
Jesus, You are my everything,
And I love you.
I’m sure there have been moments when you, too, have wondered, Where would I be without Jesus? He has done so much for you and so much for me. Truly, great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. Now this same Jesus who has touched your life and given rest to our souls is calling you and me to serve Him and to obey Him.
The World Longs for His Peace
Millions of men, women, and children around the world are starving for this glorious peace that you and I know on a daily basis. This peace that passes all understanding—this peace that you and I have known since our salvation—is what humanity is crying for. And the joy that you and I know daily is what the world is crying for continually.Think about the billions of dollars humanity spends looking for joy and peace, yet this joy and peace comes only through Jesus. And somebody’s got to tell them. That somebody is you and me.For the Lord has called you and me to preach the glorious Gospel of salvation to the nations, and truly our time is running out.In 1974at the age of 21, I began to preach the Gospel, and I have been preaching it ever since and I’ll continue to do so until the day I die.As God in those days gave me men and women to stand by me, 35 years later He is still calling men and women so His purpose might be fulfilled.
What Can You Do as We Celebrate the Resurrection?
Today my heart’s cry has not diminished; in fact, it has gotten greater. The Gospel of Jesus must be preached. Necessity is laid upon you and me, and we must obey the Lord and we must accelerate our efforts before time runs out.Our Lord Jesus declared, As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you (John 20:21).Think about this most glorious privilege…think about those words as God the Father—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has sent His Son to earth. And this same God—the mighty One, the eternal One, the everlasting God of glory—has called you. That is why Paul the apostle wrote that God has called and anointed us so that His purpose might be accomplished. The Gospel must be preached. And so today, as you sow your financial seed for the work of the Gospel, the Gospel will be preached. As you give, it shall be given to you. As you honor the Lord with your substance, your barns will be filled with plenty. And I pray that He who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you ask or think will bless you beyond measure.Thank you for serving Him through this ministry. Thank you for all you are doing for the kingdom of God, for we know that it is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 4:6).Preaching the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the unchanging Word of God,and expecting the mighty and miraculous power of the Holy Spirit,Benny Hinn.
The CARMEL ALERT April 12th 2009 A compilation of news reports from the past week for the information of those committed to praying for Israel and the salvation of the Jewish people David's Comment: DAVID'S COMMENT: PASSOVER LEADS TO ETERNITY
Exodus 12:27 then tell them, It is the Passover sacrifice to the LORD, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.(NIV)
This past Wednesday evening was the 14th of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar - the eve of the Biblical Feast of Passover. For the Jewish people, Passover is the celebration of the miracle of their deliverance from the tyrannical Pharaoh. They have remembered and retold the Passover Exodus story every year since the dramatic event took place nearly 3600 years ago. God sent Moses down to Egypt to deliver His message to Pharaoh,Let Israel, my first born son go free to worship Me.Pharaoh resisted, so the Lord struck Egypt with a series of plagues.Pharaoh continued to refuse to free the Hebrews, a mistake that was to cost Egypt all of her first born sons. Genesis 12:3 surely came to pass for Egypt. The Jews prepared for Passover exactly as God instructed. Every family sacrificed a faultless lamb, roasted its meat, burnt its entrails on the alter, and applied its blood to their door-posts. As the Angel of Death swept ominously through the land, when he saw the blood on the door-posts of the Hebrew's houses, he passed over their dwellings. ( hence the name Passover ) It was a different scenario in the Egyptian households. Their door-posts were not covered by the blood and throughout all of Egypt that night it probably sounded like being right beside a fire station as the sirens wail. As every family, including the Pharaoh's, discovered that their first born sons were dead, a mournful wail must have resounded in all of Egypt.
Soon the Israelites passed through the Red Sea as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob miraculously opened up a dry path across the seabed. They passed from slavery to Pharaoh into freedom to worship and serve their God.As born-again Christians, we have much in common with the Jewish people. Messianic Jews and Messianic Gentiles are now all grafted into the same Olive Tree - Israel (Rom 11:17).We are all fellow citizens in the one house of God. ( Eph2:19). We have all passed from slavery to sin to freedom, to worship and serve the God of Israel. That is good news, but the really good news is that if we resist the many temptations to return to Egypt and continue in this new found freedom, we will dwell forever in the presence of the Creator. What began 4 millenia ago in Egypt has an eternal fulfillment. As further preparation for the original Passover, God instructed the Hebrews to bake unleavened bread for their last meal in Egypt. Ever since that night, the Feast of Passover is followed by the feast of Unleavened Bread. Thus a major part of the Passover preparations is the removal from all leaven from their homes. In the Bible leaven always represents sin. As the Jewish people prepare once again to physically remove all of the leaven from their lives, this Passover season is a perfect time to have a clean out of the leaven in our lives. In the 1st epistle to the Corinthians, Paul draws an analogy between the dynamics of the original Passover and our New Covenant life.1Cor 5:6.Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 1Cor 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. 1Cor 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast; not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
The question is, have we fully passed from Egypt to Israel ? Have we left behind all of the un-Godly ways of our Egypt/Babylonian based cultures to adopt the ways of the Kingdom of God ? A friend of ours, Victor Schlatter wrote in his latest book,Who Told You That You Were Naked ? that unfortunately most Westerners, and not the least, much of the presumed Bible believing, no-nonsense Christianity within the Western world, have become such scrambled eggs of syncretism into a Hellenistic lifestyle, that they are oblivious to the fact that their train long ago whistled past their station, and sadly the next stop is not the one where they want to get off ! In the book of Daniel we see that the sons of Israel are at war with the sos of Greece. May I suggest that as we celebrate Passover or Easter this year , we all focus on cleaning out the leaven of the world and applying the blood of the Lamb to the stain of sin in our lives. Lets ask the Holy Spirit to teach us how to be more Yeshua like every day. If you are not planning to do a Seder, why not take the Lord's supper at home on Saturday evening and before you take the wine and bread, pray as I have suggested above.Josie and I want to wish you all a very blessed Passover week. The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel. Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God. Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray for our son Jordan, and all of his fellow soldiers in the IDF. Shabbat Shalom .... David & Josie.
HAPPY PASSOVER -- AND AN EPICENTER CONFERENCE UPDATE Come with us to Israel and stand with the Jewish people By Joel C. Rosenberg
(Washington, D.C., April 8, 2009) -- I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.(Exodus 20:2)
Lynn and the boys and I are celebrating Passover this year with our Joshua Fund team. As we do, we are rejoicing over how the Lord has delivered the Jewish people through so many trials in recent decades, and how He has miraculously and prophetically resurrected the State of Israel, as He had promised in the Scriptures to do in the last days of human history. We are also praying for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to deliver the children of Israel from rising new threats - this time from Iran and Radical Islam, not the Pharoah of Egypt. Many nations around the world are turning against Israel at present. The Turkish Prime Minister recently called for Israel to be banned from the U.N. A Spanish court is considering trying Israeli military officials on war crimes charges for defending Israel from Hamas rocket attacks. Boycotts of Israeli goods and services are being called for around the world. And now comes this headline in a leading Israeli newspaper: Obama team readying for confrontation with Netanyahu. That said, we are not worried. The Lord who has been so faithful to the Jewish people from time immemorial will show His mighty hand once again. That was the theme of this year's Epicenter Conference, that we serve a great and mighty God, a prayer-hearing and a prayer-answering God, a God who loves Israel and will bless her. In my State of the Epicenter address on Saturday, I spoke from the Book of Esther about another time in history when the leader of Iran/Persia (King Xerxes) called for the annihilation of the Jewish people. It seemed hopeless. But as the Jews who really loved the Lord fasted and prayed and turned their hearts towards Him, the Lord heard their cries and sent a great deliverance through one man (Mordechai) and one woman (Hadassah/Esther) willing to serve Him even unto death. Will He not provide such a great deliverance again, as we turn our hearts towards Him and seek His face and ask Him to forgive us and heal us and draw us close to His heart?
We believe the Iran crisis provides a tremendous opportunity for the Church to stand with Israel and bless Israel and see the God of Israel do a mighty miracle. The Joshua Fund team, therefore, is committed to doing everything we possibly can to educate Christians around the world and mobilize a global movement of people who will bless Israel and her neighbors in the name of Jesus. This November 5-17, we will be a leading a Joshua Fund Prayer & Vision Trip to Israel, concluding with our first-ever Jerusalem Prayer Summit. We would love to have you join us for this extraordinary opportunity to walk the land that Jesus walked, learn the history and the prophetic future of the Holy Land, meet Israeli pastors and Joshua Fund allies, and see how powerfully the God of Israel is moving today. Please pray about it and then, if the Lord gives you the green light, please join us on what will be an unforgettable experience.

Majority of British forces to be put at disposal of EU army
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/
Britain is willing to provide all our Armed Forces to fight under the EU flag in future wars, a minister has revealed. Europe Minister Caroline Flint said that every operational unit of the British Army, the Royal Navy and RAF will be on offer as part of an EU force catalogue. This would help form a 60,000-strong, joint EU military reaction force to police the world's trouble-spots.Questioned by MPs this week, about Britain's commitment to the controversial plans, she said: We are prepared to provide all our forces that are suitable for operations within the EU level of action. This suggested that the entire Army, Navy and RAF will be put at the EU's disposal - with the likely exception of Trident submarines carrying Britain's nuclear deterrent missiles.
The Ministry of Defence insists that our forces would remain under UK control.
And Miss Flint immediately stressed that Britain was willing, but not committed, to offering all the forces - and would judge each EU-led operation on a case-bycase basis. They are national forces and will always remain so,she said. However, Tory MP James Clappison, a member of the European Scrutiny Committee, cautioned that her remarks may have exposed the Government's real attitude.Under Labour, Britain has an ever-deeper commitment to EU common defence, and many in the EU want a common army, he said.
Mission creep is in the DNA of the European Union.
Opposition critics believe that the Government's rhetoric on European defence is shifting slowly, signalling growing enthusiasm for an EU Army. In October, Defence Secretary John Hutton gave strong backing to French plans for stronger EU military structures, and dismissed opponents of the divisive scheme as pathetic.
France has championed the Euro-Army agenda for years.
President Nicolas Sarkozy is pushing for a European military headquarters in Brussels, and more EU Rapid Reaction Forces, each made up of 1,500 troops from member states. And earlier this week, a European parliament report said that British and French military bases around the world, including those in the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar and Cyprus, should be put under joint EU control for future operations. The MoD has played down the significance of the 60,000-strong intervention force. It is not a standing EU force of any kind and any commitment to an EU-led operation is voluntary,a spokesman said.Commitment decisions are for national governments to make on a case by case basis. As you know, we have just one set of military forces and they don't belong to either Nato or the EU - they belong to us - and we choose the most appropriate organisation to do the job.But opponents of the EU reaction force fear that it will become a major stepping stone towards a huge standing EU army, controlled from Brussels, which would undermine Nato and freeze the U.S. out of Europe's security affairs.EU forces have so far carried out only limited missions - including peacekeeping in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Congo. But its supporters hope that the new reaction force would also gradually allow the EU to eclipse Nato, or U.S.-led coalitions of the willing, in responding to international crises.
Caroline Flint, who oversees Britain's role in Brussels, faced embarrassment during the committee's hearings when she admitted that she had never read the Lisbon Treaty, the controversial document which is set to usher in radical reform of the EU.
Conservative defence spokesman Mark Francois described her remarks as an incredible admission, after she told MPs that she had read some of it but not all of it.

Obama's New World Order By Stephen Lendman 4-10-9
This article addresses Washington's financial coup d'etat in the context of discussing Michael Hudson's important, very lengthy and detailed April 5 Global Research.ca one titled: The Financial War Against Iceland - Being defeated by debt is as deadly as outright military warfare. It reviews its key information in advance of Hudson's April 14 scheduled appearance on The Global Research News Hour to discuss.
What's true for Iceland holds everywhere, including the developed world, the idea being to enrich finance capitalism through state-sponsored debt bondage and neo-feudal impoverishment. The global economic crisis was no accident. It was long ago hatched, and has been brewing for years, gestating, percolating, then bubbling into the 2000 tech crash, a mere prelude for today's greater one spreading everywhere like a cancer but hitting the developing world and most indebted nations hardest.
Hudson: Iceland is under attack - not militarily but financially.
Like many others, It owes more than it can pay and is bankrupt. It was planned that way, and the idea is to strip-mine the nation and its people of their resources, enterprises, assets, land, homes, jobs and futures through perpetual debt bondage. Bankers get enriched. Nations and people, however, are discarded like trash, with the IMF as enforcer, to be reinvigorated with an additional (G 20-pledged) $750 billion, quadrupling its resources to $1 trillion if fulfilled.Wall Street and Western European bankers planned it and now ordered the government to sell off the nation's public domain, its natural resources and public enterprises to pay (its) financial gambling debts. Also, raise permanent taxes at the worst possible time, then suck the maximum wealth from the country leaving behind an empty hulk and impoverished, desparate population. It's called dystopia Merriam-Webster defines as: an imaginary place where people lead dehumanized and often fearful lives, the opposite of utopia under conditions of deprivation, poverty, disease, violence, oppression, and terror, much like in Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.Permanent debt bondage is as deadly as outright military defeat. Loss of livelihoods and assets leave people vulnerable to sickness, despair, and early deaths, much like what happened to post-Soviet Russia under Washington-imposed shock therapy:
-- 80% of farmers went bankrupt;
-- around 70,000 state factories closed;
-- unemployment became epidemic;
-- a permanent underclass was created;
-- poverty rose from two million in 1989 to 74 million by the mid-1990s, and in half the cases it was desperate;
-- alcoholism and drug abuse soared;
-- so did HIV/AIDS 20-fold;
-- suicides also and violent crime four-fold; and
-- the population declined by 700,000 a year; by 2007 it was 10% lower than in 1989 because of sharply reduced life expectancies.
Iceland, the developing world, and the West take note. This cancer is heading everywhere, courtesy of banker-imposed diktats, mainly from America and the UK. They insist Iceland impoverish its citizens by paying debts in ways (they'd) never follow even though the government has no way to do it.No matter. They are quite willing to take payment in the form of foreclosure on the nation's natural resources, land and housing, and a mortgage on the next few centuries of its future - perpetual debt bondage no different than the spoils of war under permanent occupation. However, in this case, debtors are convinced to pay voluntarily to put creditor interests above the economy's prosperity (and) national interest.Their indebtedness comes at a huge cost - chronic currency depreciation (and) domestic price inflation for many decades to come.Contrast this to how developed countries, like America, handle debt - by inflating (not deflating) their way out to pay it off with cheap (reduced purchasing power) money because inflation erodes its value. It's simple - by printing money and running budget deficits the way Washington did after Nixon closed the gold window in August 1971, ended the 1944 Bretton Woods Agreement, and no longer let dollars be backed by gold or converted into it in international markets. A new monetary system creates money like confetti, and lets us spend and live beyond our means, then have developing and indebted nations pay the price. In recent years, dollar weakness and price inflation wiped out much of the US international debt. The Iceland model turns this inflationary solution inside out....in violation of traditional credit practice. Instead of currency inflation, Iceland inflate(d) its way into debt, not out of it, (by) indexing (it) to the rate of inflation, thus guaranteeing a unique windfall for banks at the expense of wage earners and industrial profits. The result: destruction of its traditional way of life.Iceland must repudiate this debt bomb to escape. It's indexed to inflation and will never lose value. It's caught in a destructive whirlpool creating economic shrinkage, falling assets and wages in the face of perpetually burgeoning debt, the same global model needing to be exposed and renounced now. Otherwise, economies will be hollowed out, capital formation will plunge, people will be impoverished, and many won't survive.
Hudson's Background
His expertise comes from having been an insider to imperial-style plundering....for forty years - as an economist for Chase Manhattan Bank, Arthur Andersen, and the UN Institute for Training and Development (UNITAR). He's also taught economics since 1969, heads a Harvard-based economic and financial history group, is a Research Professor at the University of Missouri, and organized the first sovereign-debt fund in 1990 at Scudder, Stevens and Clark. All these jobs (except his current professorship) involved analyzing the limited ability of debtor countries to pay - how much could be extracted from them through foreign-currency loans and how much public infrastructure (could) be sold off (through) voluntary virtual foreclosure (under) creditor-dictated rules. He advises countries not to borrow in foreign currencies, instead monetize their own credit for domestic spending and investment.Iceland broke the cardinal rule of international finance: Never borrow in a foreign currency for credit that can freely be created at home. Governments can inflate their way out of domestic debt, not the foreign kind.Post-Soviet economies did it the wrong way, now suffer, and recent riots highlight their problems. Instead of helping them industrialize and become more efficient,Western bankers loaded them with debt and exploited them - not for manufacturing and infrastructure development, as loans against existing real estate and infrastructure, to suck as much wealth out quickly. It produced bubble economies built on debt-financed real estate and stock market inflation, illusory wealth bubbles (that) always burst. The only sustainable financing of imports is through enough exports for a favorable balance of trade.
De-industrialization destroys economies by shrinking them, the result of plunging property valuations, rental income, and exchange rates. Foreign currency mortgage costs exceed property values producing defaults and losses for lenders. It's hitting Sweden, Austria and leading creditor states like America and the UK. Real estate, stock market and employment are declining in a straight line unprecedented even in the Great Depression. It's turned neoliberalism into a nightmare.Just as individuals can't live off a credit card forever, neither can nations. As any classical economist knows, societies that only manufacture debt are unsustainable. Eventually they collapse into bankruptcy just like a business or household. The old saying applies. Things that can't go on forever, won't.No matter. Predator banks want to prolong the game as long as possible, grab all the wealth they can, force debtor nations to sell state enterprises at distress prices, then get new business by lending to investors who buy them on the cheap. Will it work? Only if targeted countries go along. In the case of Iceland, its very future is at stake.
Sound v. Imprudent Banking
For centuries, banks created credit responsibly - loaning money for sound investments to debtors able to repay with interest. No one imagined a world like today's with massive defaults occurring globally. In America, one-third of home mortgages are in Negative Equity;that is,the mortgage exceeds the (property's) market price pledged as collateral.US national debt tripled in one year, from $5 - $15 trillion, and according to some economists like John Williams, it's much higher under GAAP accounting - including unfunded liabilities around $65.5 trillion, an amount exceeding world GDP through FY 2008, meaning America is bankrupt. Williams also puts unemployment at 19.8% by reengineering it to include discouraged and involuntary part-time workers and excluding fictitious birth-death rate ratio inclusions.Blunt Truths about the Dismantling of Industrial Capitalism. Instead of extending credit to construct and grow them, financial oligarchs turned indebted nations into casinos (through) debt-leveraged gambles, redistributing wealth upward and creating debt peonage for most citizens. Even in America, nearly half the population has no net worth, and the gulf between richest and the rest is unprecedented. This is the unfair system that the world's top creditors would export to Iceland - if they can convince its voters (and leaders) to accept neoliberal debt pyramiding as a way to get rich. It's not working throughout post-Soviet states that see it as the road to hell, if public riots are a gauge.Better alternatives (are) the only defense as it's impossible for astronomically indebted economies to work their way out of debt. Trying will collapse the currency's exchange rate, divert huge amounts of revenue and property to creditors, and produce a new kind of post-capitalist (unjust, unsustainable) non-production/consumpton economy too gruesome to imagine or tolerate.
Iceland's financial crisis is the result of lawless predation, an international (austerity demanding) Ponzi scheme under rigged market rules imposing public and private asset stripping to pay debt. A simple scheme transfers wealth.Economies and populations are trapped on a debt treadmill from which there is no escape. (Lenders) pile on credit and let debts grow (through) the magic of compound interest, knowing that loans cannot be repaid - except by asset sell-offs.They're strip-mined through unending debt service so the parasite keeps feeding on its food source. The idea is to get it all, leaving empty hulks behind, then on to the new victims. It's euphemistically dubbed post-industrial wealth creation, the kind that's collapsing economies globally and destroying people. Obama is commander-in-chief of the process.
America as Lead Predator
It's a viciously ugly scheme that's trapped other countries into a nightmarish system in which (they're practically forced) to recycle their excess balance-of-payment dollar inflows back to the US,mainly as loans to the Treasury. When foreign central banks receive dollars for their exports (or asset sales), their choices are limited. Congress won't let them buy important domestic companies or resources, or get paid with US gold reserves. The alternative is buy Treasuries and mortgage-backed securities like Fannie and Freddie debt.Icelanders and other nations must remember that America is the world's largest debtor, and as Adam Smith explained in The Wealth of Nations - no nation ever repaid its debt, and he never envisioned one large as America's. We grow it by issuing paper for real assets and services. Until other countries demand more than confetti, this Madoff-Ponzi scheme will persist - for tiny states like Iceland (population 319,000 as of January 2009) until nothing is left to hand over.Today's road to riches isn't through capital investment. It's by foreclos(ing) at pennies on the dollar and mak(ing) capital gains by flipping property onto (central bank-inflated) world financial markets. In a word, socializing risks, privatizing profits, preying on the weak, and getting a free lunch at public expense.
It's a zero-sum game. One side's gain is another's loss, and when it matches America against Iceland, it's easy exerting pressure, but no certainty it'll prevail. As a sovereign state, Iceland can choose. More on that below.Throughout the process, financialized wealth is extractive, not productive....because loans, stocks and bonds are claims on wealth, not the kind produced by making things. This is Iceland's dilemma. Homeowners are paying tribute, not in taxes to (an occupier), in interest to (debt pyramid, international creditor) sponsors of over-financialization,aiming to strip-mine the country of everything, the way it's worked in many developing states. Yet many Icelanders are heading into this future voluntarily with little understanding of the trap, propelling them toward debt peonage destitution under the guise of an IMF rescuer - like a spider to a fly.It shouldn't happen and won't if countries refuse to be trapped and extricate themselves in time. Iceland is at a crossroads, still able to avoid what ruined Russia, other post-Soviet states, South Africa, and many other nations misjudging America and the IMF are saviors, not world class predators.
Back to the Future - A New Age of Neo-feudal Debt Bondage
Conventional banking works by extending credit in the form of interest-bearing loans and seizing collateral only in cases of default. Central banks were created to finance governments and commercial ones to expand trade, related infrastructure, mining and shipping, and develop other forms of business and industry.More recently, financial managers persuaded many countries to sell off public enterprises, like their water or energy supplies, mainly to pay debts or cut taxes for the rich. It's turned debtor nations into tollbooth economies in which basic services become a vehicle to extract greater and greater portions of national income and wealth for the benefit of the few. It's the opposite of how classical economists define free markets. Today, financial interests control them to extract labor and capital investment-produced surpluses - for themselves under the guise of economic democracy. The result pushed much of the Third World into poverty since the 1960s,and now the same cancer is heading everywhere.
Financial Warfare As Deadly As by Armies
Today's financial strategy is multilateral (with) the IMF (and World Bank) act(ing) as enforcer(s) for global creditors to appropriate the income of real estate, national infrastructure and industry by masquerading as a helping hand and seducing borrowers to believe it.Here's how neo-feudal banking works. It doesn't create credit for manufacturing. Retained earnings and equity do it. It create(s) credit primarily against (existing) collateral, and by so doing, extract(s) money from the economy (and) undercuts industrial growth for short-term speculative gains. This hegemony took thousands of years to achieve, and it wasn't easy inducing nations into poverty through debt pyramiding as good economic strategy. It's like prescribing gorging as a way to lose weight or a junk food diet to stay healthy.Iceland made it worse by protecting the claims of creditors against debtors, including most wage-earners. As post-bubble home prices plunged, creditors held their own and even strengthen(ed) their hand by increasing their take, thus making a bad situation worse. Its people own a shrinking equity in their homes vis-a-vis bankers having the lion's share. Its law shifts homeowners to Negative Equity, and it works by keeping people in the dark.
But it's much the same in the US to hide the root cause of today's crisis - Wall Street/Washington's engineered housing and debt bubble fraud amounting to financial piracy of the greatest magnitude. In America, Iceland, and elsewhere it's turned ownership societies into loanship debt trap ones. Until recently, it was unthinkable to let economies be crippled by interest payments. Now it's de rigueur through clever manipulation to convince people and nations to go along with their own demise. For Iceland, its debt burden threatens its national identity and loss of its future the way Adam Smith explained - through bankruptcy when it's too great to repay. Today, creditors and bondholders care about foreign economies only to the extent that they can charge (enough) interest (to) absorb their entire economic surplus.Getting it all is today's credo, and nothing too outlandish is irresponsible. Get in trouble. Socialism comes to the rescue, for bankers, not people or easy targets like Iceland.
Its ethic is mutual aid and prosperity for all....a highly socialized attitude (yet how tragic that it's) lead the nation to (buy into) the snake oil (of) debt peonage. Economic growth never keeps pace with accruing debts that get recycled into greater ones, but end games are the same. Debts that can't be paid, won't be,while bankers too big to fail get bailed out at the expense of public interests and sound economics. Yet Hudson explains: Creditor mismanagement is the most important problem that any country should strive to avert. Most important is to foster a free and open market of ideas, to extract the best and discard the others. But that's not how Western societies work, especially banker-run ones. A free market for them is free of ideas laying bare their snake oil. Most societies throughout history provide(d) credit.... without oligarchy.Today it's the opposite. Predatory finance erased centuries of reform and did it at warp speed. As a result, our freedom is threatened and very close to being lost. What's needed is a return to basics, and a call for transparent statistics, socially progressive ideas of a just society free of economic privilege, free of prices in excess of socially necessary costs of production and of rentier income and wealth without effort, earned in their sleep, not through their labor. It means wealth should be based on what one creates - not land and natural resources, or monopoly privileges to extract income via control of roads, the right to create money and other natural monopolies.Reform depends on purging this privilege. The way to do it is to treat banking like transportation and broadcasting, as a public utility, not something privatized for rentiers (to) tax society for what rightfully belongs to everyone. In the hands of predators, progressive reforms are impossible as financial giants preserve their special privileges by law, minimizing taxes on themselves by shifting the burden onto labor and industry.Financialization:
-- raise(s) the cost of living (and) doing business;
-- frees bankers' major customers - mortgage borrowers - from taxation to leave (maximum) surplus (for) interest;
-- collects public sector revenue by capitalizing it into interest charges and inflating housing, other real estate, and other business prices;
-- shift(s) taxes onto labor and industry, thereby raising prices and undermining the competitive power of financialized economies.
This is predation, the very opposite of classical free market policy. Keynes concluded his General Theory by calling for euthanasia of the rentier. His followers advocate banking as a public utility to steer debt creation to fund growth in the means of production, not economic overhead by inflating property bubbles.None of that's in sight. Maybe someday after the inevitable demise of the current system that will eventually crumble under its own weight.
Lessons for Iceland and Other Nations
Iceland is under financial attack from outside as well as within - by foreigners supported by a domestic banking class. To succeed (they need) to convince the population that all debt is productive, and that the economy benefits to the extent that its net worth rises (that is, make its asset values appear greater than its debt). The fact is that prices don't fall, and if they do, debts should (remain), even (at the expense of) negative equity.Icelanders are being manipulated to believe they have no alternative but to pay debts that a few insiders (accumulated, ones) that accrue interest when (they're) unpaid. In fact, demanded debt amounts exceed what the country can pay, but the strategy is to conceal this as long as possible to proceed with the foreclosure and voluntary pre-bankruptcy sell-off of national assets to pay predators.
What's true for Iceland, holds everywhere Wall Street and the IMF target, and here's the scheme:
-- shrink economies;
-- shift wealth and property upwards to a financial oligarchy; and
-- price labor and industry out of world markets as a result of the heavy financial charges built into (the) pricing system.Iceland is a model test case for economic justice. Hopefully it will confront reality sooner than later and not get trapped into perpetual debt bondage by succumbing to global creditor pressure or seduction. What benefits them harms people, and everyone needs to know it. Bankers aim (for) a return to normalcy, defined as new exponential (debt volume) growth producing more destructive bubbles like the last ones.Iceland must reject Wall Street's medicine or perish, and the same holds elsewhere, including in America. Bankers, not nations or people, should take the pain. Hudson asks: "How can Iceland (or Hungary, Latvia, Ukraine, or many other nations) pay its debts without bankrupting itself, (in Iceland's case) abandoning its social democracy and polarizing its (people) between a tiny creditor oligarchy and everyone else? They're threatened by a new ruling class that will control (their) destiny for the next century or beyond. It's their choice to reject it and stay free.Their foreign currency loans should be denominated in domestic currency at written-down (and de-indexed) interest rates, or repudiated outright. The guiding principle should be to annul debts taken out under (destructive and extractive) terms benefitting creditors at the expense of their prey. They aim to dominate societies - above all....to maximize the power of debt over labor. The worse the economy does, the stronger they get. It's a vicious cycle recipe for economic suicide (from perpetual) debt peonage.Iceland can be a test case model against it. It comes down to whether it will back its people or, like America, surrender to financial predators. It's much the same globally, the result of the greatest ever economic crisis opportunity for plunder. The perpetrators love it. It's high time they got their comeuppance.
Imagine tiny Iceland taking the lead and fighting back against what another former high-level Wall Street and government insider warns - Catherine Austin Fitts, Assistant Secretary of Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner under GHW Bush and Dillon Read & Co. Managing Director and board member. In her latest quarterly review, she predicts that Obama will do more to help bankers achieve centralized control and one world government than any (previous) US politician. In less than three months in office, he's shown bankers they can count on him - to the tune of trillions of dollars, further open-ended checkbook amounts on request, and global diplomatic pressure on targeted nations to surrender. It's for public rage, tiny Iceland, and other over-indebted nations to demand no more.Hopefully enough of them have backbone to do it.

Gold remains subdued as its appeal as a safe-haven eases ,Gold falls as investors' risk appetite returns and stock rally. 7:07PM BST 10 Apr 2009
REUTERS Gold traded little changed in Asia and headed for a third weekly loss as a rally in equities cut the precious metal’s appeal as an alternative asset. Asian stocks climbed after fewer Americans sought unemployment insurance and US.-based Wells Fargo & Co reported a record quarterly profit, lifting optimism a recession in the world’s biggest economy is abating. Bullion for immediate delivery fell yesterday for a fifth time in six days.Summit uncertainty to push gold price higher Demand for gold as a haven eased as a rally in global equities made investors optimistic that the worst of the economic slump may be over, said Hisaaki Tasaka, an analyst at Tokyo-based commodity broker ACE Koeki Co. Gold for June delivery GCM9 eased $2.60 to settle at $883.30 an ounce on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Wells Fargo, the No. 2 US home lender, yesterday said first-quarter net income surged by half because of strong revenue from Wachovia Corp., which it acquired last year.
First-time U.S. jobless claims fell by 20,000 to 654,000 in the week ended April 4, from a revised 674,000 a week earlier, the Labor Department said. Holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust, the biggest exchange- traded fund backed by bullion, rose to a record 1,127.68 metric tons yesterday, up from 1,127.37 tons a day earlier, according to figures on its web site. Meanwhile, reports suggest there are tentative signs of a new gold rush in the US. According to the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA there has been a 20pc in membership in the last year, driven by the deepening recession and the high price of gold.

Goldman Sachs hires law firm to shut blogger's site ,Goldman Sachs is attempting to shut down a dissident blogger who is extremely critical of the investment bank, its board members and its practices. By James Quinn, Wall Street Correspondent Last Updated: 6:29PM BST 10 Apr 2009

The bank has instructed Wall Street law firm Chadbourne & Parke to pursue blogger Mike Morgan, warning him in a recent cease-and-desist letter that he may face legal action if he does not close down his website. Florida-based Mr Morgan began a blog entitled Facts about Goldman Sachs – the web address for which is goldmansachs666.com – just a few weeks ago. In that time Mr Morgan, a registered investment adviser, has added a number of posts to the site, including one entitled Does Goldman Sachs run the world?. However, many of the posts relate to other Wall Street firms and issues. According to Chadbourne & Parke's letter, dated April 8, the bank is rattled because the site violates several of Goldman Sachs intellectual property rights and also implies a relationship with the bank itself.
Unsurprisingly for a man who has conjoined the bank's name with the Number of the Beast – although he jokingly points out that 666 was also the S&P500's bear-market bottom – Mr Morgan is unlikely to go down without a fight. He claims he has followed all legal requirements to own and operate the website – and that the header of the site clearly states that the content has not been approved by the bank. On a special section of his blog entitled Goldman Sachs vs Mike Morgan he predicts that the fight will probably end up in court. It's just another example of how a bully like Goldman Sachs tries to throw their weight around,he writes. Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Mr Morgan explained how he went through a similar battle with US homebuilder Lennar a few years ago after he set up a website to collect information on what he alleged was shoddy workmanship in its homes. The pair eventually settled out of court. Since I went through this with Lennar, I've had advice from some of the best intellectual property lawyers, and I know exactly what I can and can't do. We're not going to back down from this,he promises. Mr Morgan adds that if Goldman manages to shut down his site, he has a number of other domain names registered. Speculation is mounting that Goldman Sachs is set to raise several billion dollars via a share sale, possibly next week, in order to pay down a $10bn (£6.8bn) US government loan, as revealed in The Sunday Telegraph last week.

Congress resurrecting hate crimes plan?
http://www.wnd.com/
Christian organizations are warning constituents of a potential stealth attack on their faith in Congress with the launch of another hate crimes law, similar to a previous measure adopted with only minutes' notice. The earlier plan died when President George W. Bush threatened a veto, describing the idea as unneeded and probably unconstitutional. But now Barack Obama's White House website affirms his dedication to strengthening federal hate crimes legislation and expanding hate crimes protection. While this new bill has not yet been given a new name or bill number, it is more dangerous to our constitutional rights than the other hate crimes bills that are also still pending. All hate crimes legislation is a direct threat to our religious liberties. We must let Congress know we are watching! said a statement today from Gary Cass at the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission. Cass said the plan offers one of the gravest threats to religious liberty and freedom of speech.Even while national attention is focused in on the economy and Obama’s radical economic and foreign policy, the far left is at work undermining our First Amendment rights at home with hate crime legislation,he warned. In other countries where these types of laws have been implemented, pastors and Christians have been jailed and fined for their faithful adherence to the Scriptures.Cass said the expectation is that U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., will reintroduce the previous bill.
This new hate crime bill is making its way to the Judiciary committee as soon as this Friday!he said. Now we are on the verge of passing federal hate crime laws that will be used to silence believers like in Canada, Europe and Australia. No more will your pastor be able to declare the truth about Islam or homosexuality because it will be considered a hate crime. Some are fighting back, including Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas.A large part of this is that many people do not understand the Christian heart, he said. They just don't like people who disagree with them. The true Christian heart can disagree with people, and still love them deeply,he said. But the law, Gohmert said, would allow prosecutors to go after a minister … who says sexual relations outside of the marriage of a man and a woman are wrong. The congressman says if there is a crime, and the suspect says he was inspired by a minister, the preacher suddenly also would be a defendant in the crime. Tony Perkins of FRC Action also was busy alerting his constituents. He emphasized that the scenario explained by Gohmert not only is possible but probable. How would it happen? A federal hate crimes law prohibiting bodily injury could be construed by many law enforcement officials and judges to include words that inflict emotional or psychological distress, he said. That means an offended homosexual could accuse a religious broadcaster … a pastor … Sunday School teacher … or other individual of causing emotional injury simply by expressing the biblical view that homosexual behavior is morally wrong and unhealthy.
That's all it could take to trigger a wave of federal prosecutions and begin an era of censorship like America has never seen!he warned.Remember, all violent criminals should be prosecuted but we already have laws for that,he said. WND reported, during Obama's inauguration, his agenda was posted on the WhiteHouse website where he listed federal hate crimes laws as his second priority. Many states already have hate crimes legislation. A couple running a photography studio in New Mexico faced thousands of dollars in fines for their decision not to provide photography services to a pair of lesbians because of the Christian beliefs of the studio owners. In Pennsylvania, a 75-year-old grandmother was threatened with prison for advocating a biblical perspective of homosexuality.Internationally, Christians in several nations have been penalized for stating a biblically based condemnation of homosexuality.Former White House insider Chuck Colson, in his Breakpoint commentary, has called such proposals Thought Crimes plans. It's about outlawing peaceful speech – speech that asserts that homosexual behavior is morally wrong,he said.Critics have said hate crimes laws actually criminalize thought because they demand enhanced penalties because of the perception of the victim by the perpetrator. A mugger, for example, who attacks a victim while screaming an epithet denoting a race or sexual preference could get a much more significant penalty than a mugger who attacks a victim but doesn't say anything.Matt Barber, chief of cultural affairs at Liberty Counsel, has spoken out repeatedly in opposition to the idea. The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees equal protection under the law,he said.Hate crimes legislation is … [a] violation of the Fourteenth Amendment in that it elevates one class of citizen based upon their chosen sexual behaviors above other people.Coral Ridge Ministries, launched by the late D. James Kennedy, has published a book on the issue by John Aman, who says such laws put into doubt the future of religious liberty and freedom of speech for Christians.

53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.
REVELATION 18:3,5,7
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
JEREMIAH 50:3,24
3 For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD. (RUSSIA A SNEAK ATTACK ON AMERICA)
REVELATION 18:10
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
Electricity Grid in U.S. Penetrated By Spies
http://online.wsj.com/
Cyberspies have penetrated the U.S. electrical grid and left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, according to current and former national-security officials. The spies came from China, Russia and other countries, these officials said, and were believed to be on a mission to navigate the U.S. electrical system and its controls. The intruders haven't sought to damage the power grid or other key infrastructure, but officials warned they could try during a crisis or war.
The Chinese have attempted to map our infrastructure, such as the electrical grid, said a senior intelligence official. So have the Russians. The espionage appeared pervasive across the U.S. and doesn't target a particular company or region, said a former Department of Homeland Security official. There are intrusions, and they are growing, the former official said, referring to electrical systems. There were a lot last year. Many of the intrusions were detected not by the companies in charge of the infrastructure but by U.S. intelligence agencies, officials said. Intelligence officials worry about cyber attackers taking control of electrical facilities, a nuclear power plant or financial networks via the Internet.Authorities investigating the intrusions have found software tools left behind that could be used to destroy infrastructure components, the senior intelligence official said. He added, If we go to war with them, they will try to turn them on.Officials said water, sewage and other infrastructure systems also were at risk.Over the past several years, we have seen cyberattacks against critical infrastructures abroad, and many of our own infrastructures are as vulnerable as their foreign counterparts, Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair recently told lawmakers.A number of nations, including Russia and China, can disrupt elements of the U.S. information infrastructure.
Officials cautioned that the motivation of the cyberspies wasn't well understood, and they don't see an immediate danger. China, for example, has little incentive to disrupt the U.S. economy because it relies on American consumers and holds U.S. government debt. But protecting the electrical grid and other infrastructure is a key part of the Obama administration's cybersecurity review, which is to be completed next week. Under the Bush administration, Congress approved $17 billion in secret funds to protect government networks, according to people familiar with the budget. The Obama administration is weighing whether to expand the program to address vulnerabilities in private computer networks, which would cost billions of dollars more. A senior Pentagon official said Tuesday the Pentagon has spent $100 million in the past six months repairing cyber damage.Overseas examples show the potential havoc. In 2000, a disgruntled employee rigged a computerized control system at a water-treatment plant in Australia, releasing more than 200,000 gallons of sewage into parks, rivers and the grounds of a Hyatt hotel.Last year, a senior Central Intelligence Agency official, Tom Donohue, told a meeting of utility company representatives in New Orleans that a cyberattack had taken out power equipment in multiple regions outside the U.S. The outage was followed with extortion demands, he said. The U.S. electrical grid comprises three separate electric networks, covering the East, the West and Texas. Each includes many thousands of miles of transmission lines, power plants and substations. The flow of power is controlled by local utilities or regional transmission organizations. The growing reliance of utilities on Internet-based communication has increased the vulnerability of control systems to spies and hackers, according to government reports.
The sophistication of the U.S. intrusions -- which extend beyond electric to other key infrastructure systems -- suggests that China and Russia are mainly responsible, according to intelligence officials and cybersecurity specialists. While terrorist groups could develop the ability to penetrate U.S. infrastructure, they don't appear to have yet mounted attacks, these officials say.It is nearly impossible to know whether or not an attack is government-sponsored because of the difficulty in tracking true identities in cyberspace. U.S. officials said investigators have followed electronic trails of stolen data to China and Russia.Russian and Chinese officials have denied any wrongdoing. These are pure speculations, said Yevgeniy Khorishko, a spokesman at the Russian Embassy.Russia has nothing to do with the cyberattacks on the U.S. infrastructure, or on any infrastructure in any other country in the world.A spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Washington, Wang Baodong, said the Chinese government resolutely oppose[s] any crime, including hacking, that destroys the Internet or computer network and has laws barring the practice. China was ready to cooperate with other countries to counter such attacks, he said, and added that some people overseas with Cold War mentality are indulged in fabricating the sheer lies of the so-called cyberspies in China.Utilities are reluctant to speak about the dangers. Much of what we've done, we can't talk about, said Ray Dotter, a spokesman at PJM Interconnection LLC, which coordinates the movement of wholesale electricity in 13 states and the District of Columbia. He said the organization has beefed up its security, in conformance with federal standards. In January 2008, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved new protection measures that required improvements in the security of computer servers and better plans for handling attacks.Last week, Senate Democrats introduced a proposal that would require all critical infrastructure companies to meet new cybersecurity standards and grant the president emergency powers over control of the grid systems and other infrastructure.
Specialists at the U.S. Cyber Consequences Unit, a nonprofit research institute, said attack programs search for openings in a network, much as a thief tests locks on doors. Once inside, these programs and their human controllers can acquire the same access and powers as a systems administrator. The North American Electric Reliability Corporation on Tuesday warned its members that not all of them appear to be adhering to cybersecuirty requirements. Read the letter. The White House review of cybersecurity programs is studying ways to shield the electrical grid from such attacks, said James Lewis, who directed a study for the Center for Strategic and International Studies and has met with White House reviewers. The reliability of the grid is ultimately the responsibility of the North American Electric Reliability Corp., an independent standards-setting organization overseen by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The NERC set standards last year requiring companies to designate critical cyber assets. Companies, for example, must check the backgrounds of employees and install firewalls to separate administrative networks from those that control electricity flow. The group will begin auditing compliance in July.

IDF planning largest-ever drill to prepare Israel for war
http://www.haaretz.com/
The Home Front Command is preparing to hold the largest exercise ever in Israeli history, scheduled to take place in about two months, in hopes of priming the populace and raising awareness of the possibility of war breaking out. Should there be a war, Israel would have insufficient emergency and rescue response units, according to a senior Home Front Command officer. Speaking with Haaretz, Col. Hilik Sofer, who is in charge of the Department for Population at the Home Front Command, said that in wartime there will be insufficient Magen David Adom, rescue and chemical and biological warfare units. Even if we call up the reserves of the Home Front Command, we will have to rely on the population itself. We need to train for a reality in which during war missiles can fall on any part of the country without warning,he said. The Home Front Command is hoping to convince the population that in a future war the entire country can become a front without warning. The aim of the nationwide drill, Sofer said, is to transform the population from a passive to an active one. We want the citizens to understand that war can happen tomorrow morning. The exercise is scheduled to last an entire week and test a series of scenarios that include missile strikes with conventional and non-conventional warheads, fired by Hezbollah, Syria or Hamas.Sofer emphasized that in time of war the citizens will be required to mostly rely on themselves. In emergency situations, the policy of the Israel Defense Forces and the Defense Ministry is not to carry out mass evacuations of civilians, even in areas that are close to the border with territory controlled by Hezbollah and Hamas.
Officers in the Home Front Command insist that they are not trying to scare anyone beyond a healthy sense of fear, according to Sofer. In an effort to blunt the severity of the message, the command has prepared an information campaign that is based on questions of children. For the ultra-Orthodox who do not watch television, CDs with information will be distributed, and instructions will also come in Yiddish. The entire population will participate in the exercise, not only the schools - everyone, Sofer said.We will all need to practice for the short warning that we will have to seek shelter from the moment missiles begin falling. Each area will be given a listing with the warning time available to it, and magnets will be printed with the information that can be put it on fridge doors. Knowing that Tel Aviv residents have two minutes to prepare for impact will, the command hopes, encourage people to prepare a family emergency pack with a flashlight, bottled water, a radio and batteries.

Reported tornado kills 2, injures 30 in Tenn. By JUANITA COUSINS, Associated Press Writer APR 10,09
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A reported tornado killed two people and injured 30 Friday in central Tennessee as a line of storms that killed three people a day earlier in western Arkansas crept into the South, emergency officials said.Tennessee Emergency Management Agency spokesman Donnie Smith confirmed the deaths Friday in Murfreesboro, about 30 miles southeast of Nashville.Dispatchers at the Rutherford County Emergency Management Agency said the area has been heavily impacted after several eyewitness reports of a tornado on the ground at about midday.Elsewhere, a tornado touched down in southwestern Kentucky, injuring two people and destroying a mobile home. Large hail began falling in several North Carolina counties.Friday afternoon, search teams fanned out across Murfreesboro, a city of about 100,500, looking for anyone trapped in homes. Clyde Atkinson, spokesman for the Murfreesboro Police Department, said he believes there were three to five touchdowns mostly in the northern and western parts of the city.
A grocery store evacuated customers into a cooler until the storm passed.Roofs were ripped away from at least a dozen homes, and some trees were blown down. A bulldozer was clearing tree limbs and other debris from streets.Several homes were emblazoned with a spray-painted c, indicating emergency crews had checked them.
Thousands of utility customers lost power.
On Thursday night, a black funnel cloud descended on the western Arkansas hamlet of Mena, killing at least three, injuring 30 and destroying or damaging 600 homes. This one popped out of nowhere, said Polk County, Ark., Sheriff Mike Oglesby. As daylight broke Friday in Mena, pink insulation hung like cherry blossoms from the sheared branches of century-old maples. The roof of a two-story home sat atop the rubble that once was the floors beneath it, a set of women's clothes still hanging from a suspended closet rack.Oglesby said search-and-rescue teams had combed through the city's downtown and a neighborhood just west that sustained the brunt of the storm without finding any other victims. The sheriff said he had no reports of anyone else missing in the city of 5,700 in the Ouachita Mountains. An initial survey of the damage suggests the tornado packed winds of at least 136 mph, weather service forecaster John Robinson said Friday.

Oklahoma official says blaze intentionally set By SEAN MURPHY, Associated Press Writer APR 10,09
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – A wind-whipped blaze that destroyed more than 50 homes in this Oklahoma City suburb was intentionally set, fire officials said Friday. An area near a wrecker service where the fire started Thursday is frequented by teenagers from a nearby high school and investigators were looking into the possibility that they might have set the blaze, Midwest City Fire Marshal Jerry Lojka said.Authorities have not identified any suspects or determined a motive, he said. The fire, one of several statewide driven by strong winds and fueled by dry grass and brush, engulfed homes throughout east Oklahoma County, including in Midwest City and Choctaw. So far, more than 100 houses had burned down in the state and 49 people were injured, the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management said.Fire investigators were still trying to determine what caused the other fires. The battle against wildfires in western and central Oklahoma and across the state line in Texas eased Friday as 60 mph winds diminished, allowing evacuated residents to return to neighborhoods with charred homes, blackened vegetation and ruined cars. At least three people were killed in Texas. The fires began Thursday afternoon along the Interstate 35, the main north-south highway through central Oklahoma. Parts of the highway reopened Friday after being closed for several hours.Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry declared a state of emergency for 31 central and southern Oklahoma communities, which allows state agencies to speed the delivery of needed resources. Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Friday asked FEMA to issue an emergency declaration that would provide federal assets and resources for 199 threatened counties.
Residents evacuated while the fires raged were allowed to return home. For Sammetra Christmon of Midwest City, there was only a blackened, smoking ruin where her home had been. The memories, the photos, this is the house I have worked all my life for, she said Friday as she and her family picked through the smoldering debris. Her 9-year-old daughter was taking it hard. She's devastated, just in tears this morning, Christmon said. This is the only house she's ever known.Water-dropping helicopters couldn't assist the ground effort Thursday because winds gusted to more than 60 mph in some areas.Anytime you have high winds and low humidity, it's just the perfect storm for wildfires, and that's what's happening here, Oklahoma Emergency Management Director Albert Ashwood said.In northern and central Texas, blazes that began Thursday continued to race across thousands of parched acres Friday, overrunning the towns of Sunset and Stoneburg and forcing the temporary evacuations in several others.
Linda Freeman, who was told Thursday to evacuate her mobile home in Sunset, said she went to her son's house about 10 miles away where he turned on the news, and I saw my home burning. On Friday, all that remained were the steel stairs that once led to her front door. The town's fire chief, Alan Campbell, said nine homes had burned to the ground.Montague County Sheriff Paul Cunningham said Friday that a woman died, possibly from a heart attack, after calling for an ambulance in a fire near Bowie on Thursday. WFAA-TV of Dallas-Fort Worth reported two other fire victims: the television station's former reporter, Matt Quinn, and his wife, Cathy. Their son was injured and was in fair condition at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, the station said. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management said a firefighter helping battle a blaze in Lincoln County, northeast of Oklahoma City, was hospitalized with burns and another person was severely injured after losing control of a vehicle on a smoke-covered road in Stephens County in southern Oklahoma.
Other injuries ranged from minor to moderate, officials said.
At the Midwest City Community Center, where about 75 residents flocked after flames threatened their homes, Kanisha Busby waited for her parents to arrive. Their home, where she grew up, was destroyed but nobody was hurt. It's hard, but all that stuff is material things that can be replaced; lives can't be replaced,Busby said. Residents were given sufficient warning to evacuate, and her father also managed to save his dog, she said. Susan Staggs, who lives near Midwest City, said Friday that she and her neighbors who gathered at an evacuation point Thursday night could see the glow of flames, but didn't know if their homes were being engulfed. After dark, you could just see the flames crossing the road, she said. I had two cats in my house and my horse and goats were still there. Her home was spared, it turned out, because a pile of gravel and dirt from her neighbor's driveway project served as a firebreak. But the neighbor's home was lost.Associated Press writers Murray Evans in Oklahoma City; Angela K. Brown in Fort Worth, Texas; Betsy Blaney in Lubbock, Texas; Schuyler Dixon in Sunset, Texas, and Linda Stewart Ball in Dallas contributed to this report.

French free sailboat from pirates, 1 hostage dies By PIERRE-YVES ROGER, Associated Press Writer APR 10,09
PARIS – Navy commandos stormed a French sailboat held by pirates off the Somali coast Friday in an assault triggered by threats the passengers would be executed. But one hostage was killed in the operation, demonstrating the risks of a military operation against sea bandits.Four hostages, including a small child, were freed, French Defense Minister Herve Morin said. Two pirates also were killed and three others were taken prisoner. They are to be brought to France for criminal proceedings, joining 12 pirates already jailed and awaiting trial here.It was the third time the French have freed hostages from the hands of pirates but the first time a hostage had been killed.
In a break with French government policy, authorities proposed paying a ransom during 48 hours of fruitless talks, but the pirates, armed with Kalashnikov rifles, rejected the offer, Morin said, without divulging a sum.The French also offered the pirates a French naval officer to hold in exchange for a mother and child but that too was rejected, the minister said.A grim-faced Morin, speaking at a news conference, said, Negotiations were leading nowhere, and the boat was approaching the coast. He said French President Nicolas Sarkozy gave the order to attack. It came at 3:30 p.m. Paris time (1330 GMT), 20 nautical miles off the coast of Somalia. The four remaining hostages, including the child, were being taken by French authorities to Djibouti. The dead hostage was identified as Florent Lemacon, the owner of the boat, the Tanit, and father of the family, the defense minister said.Lemacon was killed in an exchange of fire as he tried to duck down the hatch, the minister said.President Nicolas Sarkozy ordered the assault when all negotiations failed and the boat drifted toward the Somali coast — a red line France refused to go beyond, the defense minister said.
The president's instructions were particularly clear: No French taken to land, he said. After two days of talks, the pirates were very clearly hardening their position and evoked more and more insistently the execution of the hostages and the destruction by explosives of the boat and their unbending will to go to the coast, Morin said. The assault — lasting three minutes — came as piracy cases continued to play out in the region. Pirates threatened to kill an American cargo ship captain held hostage by four Somali pirates after he jumped in the water Friday in a desperate attempt to escape. The French rescue operation did not appear to be in any proximity to that standoff. The U.S. Navy was positioning a huge amphibious ship closer to the scene of the standoff. In Paris, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Jean-Louis Georgelin dismissed the notion that there was any coordination between the French and Americans on the two incidents. Both countries are part of anti-piracy task forces and patrol the risky waters around the Gulf of Aden and other parts of the Somali coast. In another case, a Norwegian tanker was released Friday some two weeks after it was seized off the Somali coast. All 27 of its crew were unhurt, the ship's owner said. The Norwegian shipowner Salhus Shipping AS refused to say whether ransom had been paid. There were 164 acts of piracy in the area in 2008, 43 involving hostage-takings, according to the French Defense Ministry. There have been 65 attacks so far this year, and 15 vessels are currently held by pirates with 243 hostages in the hands of pirates, the ministry said.France was at the forefront of multinational efforts to protect the Gulf of Aden, a strategic shipping zone, and the north of the Indian Ocean, operating since December 2008.
France's policy is to refuse to allow French citizens to be taken ashore as hostages, the president's office said. Pirates had seized the Tanit last Saturday. French officials had been in contact with the pirates since Wednesday. When negotiations stalled Thursday, the French immobilized the Tanit by shooting down its sails — thus opening a new phase of talks the defense minister said. By Friday, threats were more precise, with the pirates refusing proposals and the Tanit moving toward the coast. An operation to free the hostages was decided, the president's office said. The pirates fired with Kalashnikovs as eight commandos boarded the boat backed by firepower from 70 commandos on three French frigates. Two pirates were killed immediately and a third fell in the water, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Jean-Louis Georgelin said. The passengers in the Tanit had repeatedly been warned to avoid the dangerous waters around Somalia and the Gulf of Aden. The boat, a Norwegian-made 14.5-meter (47.57-foot) sailboat with a single mast, was heading for the coast of Kenya when it was attacked. The owners, Florent and Chloe Lemacon, had left the French port of Vanves in Brittany in July 2009 on an adventure with their three-year-old son, according to their blog. Two friends had joined them along the way.
US hostage fails in escape bid from Somali pirates By KATHARINE HOURELD and ANNE GEARAN, Associated Press Writers APR 10,09
NAIROBI, Kenya – An American skipper held hostage by pirates tried to swim to freedom Friday but was recaptured seconds later when the bandits opened fire within view of a U.S. destroyer.Four Somali pirates, who are demanding a ransom, were ready to kill Capt. Richard Phillips if they are attacked, according to a Somali in contact with the captors. The high seas drama turned more complex and potentially deadly in its third day as both pirates and American forces rushed reinforcements to the scene several hundred miles off the coast of Somalia. The crisis stemmed from a thwarted attempt to take over the U.S.-flagged Maersk Alabama freighter and is testing the new Obama administration. The pirates summoned reinforcements, calling in four commandeered ships with hostages from a variety of nations including the Philippines, Russia and Germany, according to the Somali in touch with the pirates. The U.S. was also bolstering its force by dispatching other warships to the scene several hundred miles off the Somali coast, which already was under watch by the destroyer USS Bainbridge — named after William Bainbridge, an American naval officer who fought pirates off the Barbary Coast in the early 19th century.Piracy along the anarchic and impoverished Somali coast, the longest in Africa, has risen in recent years. Somali pirates hold about a dozen ships with more than 200 crew members, according to the International Maritime Bureau, a piracy watchdog group based in Malaysia. The bureau lists 66 attacks since January, not including the Alabama.Underscoring the high stakes involved, France's navy freed a sailboat seized off Somalia last week by other pirates, but one of the hostages was killed, along with two of the bandits. Three pirates were captured. French officials said there was no connection between their operation and the U.S. standoff.Phillips, of Underhill, Vt., was seized Wednesday after he thwarted the pirates' bid to hijack the Alabama, which was carrying food aid for hungry people in Somalia, Rwanda and Uganda.
Around midnight Friday local time, Phillips jumped off the covered lifeboat where he was being held and began swimming, said Defense Department officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk about sensitive, unfolding operations. One of the pirates then fired an automatic weapon, the officials said, although it was not clear if shots were fired at Phillips or into the air, and he returned to the lifeboat. He was in the water only a matter of seconds — not enough time for sailors aboard the Bainbridge to do much to help him, the defense officials said. Because both the lifeboat and the Bainbridge are moving, no swimmers or divers could have been standing by in the water, the officials said. The Bainbridge stays a minimum of 200 yards away — too far to send its own lifeboat to pick up the captain in just a few seconds, and it has no helicopter on board, they said. Its sailors were able to see Phillips moving around and talking after his return to the lifeboat, and the Defense Department officials believed he was unharmed.Tom Coggio, Phillips' brother-in-law, said word of the escape attempt and his captivity has stressed his family. Now this is just really taking a toll on all of us, Coggio said in Richmond, Vt.In a statement from the Maersk Line Ltd. shipping company, Phillips' wife, Andrea, thanked our neighbors, our community, and the nation for the outpouring of support. ... My husband is a strong man and we will remain strong for him. We ask that you do the same. The Somali in contact with the pirates holding Phillips said they are trying to link up with colleagues who are holding Russian, German, Filipino and other hostages in ships near the coast. Their goal is to get Phillips to Somalia, where they could hide him in the lawless country and make a rescue difficult, the Somali said. That would give the pirates a stronger negotiating position to discuss a ransom. The Somali, who helped negotiate a ransom last year to pirates who seized a Ukrainian ship carrying tanks, spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals. He said he has talked with a pirate leader in Somalia who helped coordinate the failed effort to seize the Alabama.
He said the pirate leader had been in direct contact with the lifeboat via a satellite phone but lost contact after Phillips' captors threw the phone — and a two-way radio dropped to them by the U.S. Navy — into the ocean, fearing the Americans were somehow sending messages to the captain via the devices. They acted after Phillips' failed escape attempt. Negotiations had been taking place between the pirates and the captain of the Bainbridge, who is getting direction from FBI hostage negotiators, the U.S. officials said. The captors had been communicating with other pirate vessels by satellite phone, they said. Mohamed Samaw, a resident of the pirate stronghold in Eyl, Somalia, who claims to have a "share" in a British-owned ship hijacked Monday, said four foreign vessels held by pirates were headed toward the lifeboat. A total of 54 hostages — from China, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, the Philippines, Tuvalu, Indonesia and Taiwan — are on two of the boats. The pirates have summoned assistance — skiffs and mother ships are heading towards the area from the coast, said a Nairobi-based diplomat, who spoke on condition on anonymity because he is not authorized to talk to the media. Samaw said two ships left Eyl on Wednesday. A third sailed from Haradhere, another pirate base in Somalia, and the fourth was a Taiwanese fishing vessel seized Monday that was already only 30 miles from the lifeboat. He said the ships include the German cargo ship Hansa Stavanger, seized earlier this month. The ship's crew of 24 is made up of five Germans, three Russians, two Ukrainians, two Filipinos and 12 from Tuvalu. Another man identified as a pirate by three residents of Haradhere also said the captured German ship had been sent.
They had asked us for reinforcement, and we have already sent a good number of well-equipped colleagues, who were holding a German cargo ship, said the man, who asked that only his first name, Badow, be used to protect him from reprisals. We are not intending to harm the captain, so that we hope our colleagues would not be harmed as long as they hold him, Badow said. All we need, first, is a safe route to escape with the captain, and then (negotiate) ransom later. The U.S. sent additional warships, including the guided-missile frigate USS Halyburton and the USS Boxer, flagship for a multination anti-piracy task force. The Boxer resembles a small aircraft carrier and has a crew of more than 1,000, a mobile hospital, missile launchers and about two dozen helicopters and attack planes. The show of force will strengthen surveillance of the area and may dissuade pirates from seizing another ship, but there are not enough for a blockade in the danger zone that sprawls across 1.1 million square miles, said a senior U.S. defense official who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss operational matters. The head of Somalia's near-powerless transitional government, Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, appealed to leaders in piracy hubs to work for Phillips' release. The government wants to see this piracy problem come to an end in a peaceful manner, he said in a statement.President Barack Obama, who is getting regular updates on the standoff, declined to answer questions about it Friday for a third day. Phillips, 53, thwarted the takeover of the 17,000-ton Alabama by telling his crew of about 20 to lock themselves in a room, the crew told stateside relatives. The crew later overpowered some of the pirates but Phillips surrendered himself to the bandits to safeguard his men, and the Somalis fled with him to the lifeboat, the relatives said. Capt. James Staples, a classmate of Phillips at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, said he was not surprised by the escape attempt. That just shows me that Richie's still ... strong, he's thinking, he's alert, Staples said. He's going to take every opportunity he can to, to make the situation a lot better for himself and probably get home as quick as he can.Associated Press writers who contributed to this report include Mohamed Olad Hassan and Mohamed Sheikh Nor in Mogadishu, Somalia; Malkhadir M. JESUS IS GOD
MICAH 5:2
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
JOHN 1:1,14
1 In the beginning was the Word,(JESUS)and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word(JESUS)was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
ROMANS 9:5
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
1 TIMOTHY 3:16
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
HEBREWS 1:8
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
1 JOHN 5:20
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
MATTHEW 2:1-2
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
PROVERBS 30:4
4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
VIRGIN BIRTH
ISAIAH 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
JEREMIAH 31:22
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.(A WOMAN WILL CARRY A MAN)(THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL INFILL THE WOMAN AND MAKE A VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS).
MATTHEW 1:23
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
LUKE 1:34-35
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? (HAVE NOT HAD INTERCOURSE WITH A MAN)
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.(VIRGIN BIRTH)
JESUS SACRIFICIAL ATONEMENT
LEVITICUS 17:11
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
REVELATION 13:8
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
PSALMS 22:16
16 For dogs(GENTILES,ROMANS)have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
ISAIAH 53:4-6
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
RESURRECTION
PSALMS 16:10
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
JOB 19:25-26

6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
ZECHARIAH 14:4-6
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
JESUS ONLY WAY TO SALVATION (NO OTTTTTTTHER PERIOD)

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

DEATH OF JESUS ON GOOD FRIDAY.
THE FACE OF JESUS
ISAIAH 52:14
14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
ISAIAH 53:1-5
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
THE LAST WEEK OF JESUS EARTHLY LIFE.
LUKE 19:28-47
28 And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
LUKE 20:1-47
1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,
2 And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
3 And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:
4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?
5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? 6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. 7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. 8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.
13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.
15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.
17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?
18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:
22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
24 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.
25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.
27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,
28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.
30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.
31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
32 Last of all the woman died also.
33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.
40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?
42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?
45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
47 Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
LUKE 21:1-38
1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives. 38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
LUKE 22:1-71 King James Bible
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.
64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
65 And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.
66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.
69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
LUKE 23:1-56
1 And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.
2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.
4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
5 And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.
6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.
7 And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
9 Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.
10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.
12 And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.
13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,
14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.
16 I will therefore chastise him, and release him.
17 (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)
18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:
19 (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)
20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.
21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.
22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.
23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,
37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.
49 And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.
50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.
52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.
53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.
55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.
56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
ROMANS 5:18
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

MATTHEW 2:1-2
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

PROVERBS 30:4

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,
46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

EXODUS 12:21-51
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.
25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?
27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.
39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
42 It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
NUMBERS 28:16-25
16 And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD.
17 And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.
18 In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein:
19 But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish:
20 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;
21 A several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
22 And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.
23 Ye shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.
24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.
PASSOVER PROPHECIES OF JESUS (THE JEWSH JESUS LAMB OF GOD).
ZECHARIAH 9:9 MESSIAH COMES MEEKLY TO JERUSALEM
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
PSALMS 118:25-26
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
ISAIAH 35:4-5
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
MALACHI 3:1
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
ISAIAH 56:7
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
MARK 13:2
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
PSALMS 41:9
9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
ZECHARIAH 11:12-13
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
PSALMS 118:27
27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
EXODUS 33:12-34:26
12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
3 And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
9 And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
11 Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
19 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
23 Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
26 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

20 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;
15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
