MARK 13:8

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Indonesia's Sumatra has lucky escape from tsunami By Ahmad Pathoni
SEPT 13,2007
BENGKULU, Indonesia (Reuters) - Indonesia's Sumatra island was hit by a series of aftershocks on Thursday after a powerful earthquake toppled hundreds of buildings, killing at least 10 people and burying many others. Authorities said the situation was not as bad as first feared, while a seismologist added that the region was lucky to have escaped a tsunami similar to the one triggered by the more than 9 magnitude quake in 2004 that killed over 280,000 people. The damage is relatively less than feared, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono told reporters on Thursday. However, we still have to do a thorough assessment. People are better at responding to disasters than in previous years.Wednesday's initial 8.4 magnitude quake -- which took place on the eve of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, and was felt in neighboring Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand -- cut communication lines and sparked widespread panic in the hours that followed. That quake and a further 22 tremors ranging in intensity from 4.9 to 7.8 repeatedly set off tsunami warnings in Indian Ocean countries. However there were no reports of major ocean surges hitting coastlines in southeast Asia. There was a tsunami created by the earthquake, it just traveled in a southwest direction away from land," said Mike Turnbull at Central Queensland University.
A separate 6.4 tremor was also reported off Sulawesi island, to the east of Sumatra.
We are grateful for the fact that the situation wasn't as bad as we initially thought it would be, said Muhammad Syamlan, vice governor of Bengkulu province, whose capital Bengkulu was close to the epicenter of the quake.A Reuters photographer in Bengkulu's provincial capital said the situation appeared calm, with shops re-opening and people milling around. The province, one of Indonesia's key coffee-growing regions, has a population of about 1.57 million.
LIVING IN FEAR
The roads in north Bengkulu were lined with tents as residents feared more quakes and did not want to return to their damaged homes. People huddled by fires outdoors to keep warm in the drizzling rain. When the first quake struck, we ran out of our house. Then we returned to the house to sleep but another big quake hit, so we ran out again. Since then we have been afraid, said Erfan Riyanto, a driver.Rustam Pakaya, head of the Indonesian health ministry's crisis centre in Jakarta, said 10 people had been killed and 51 injured across the region. The North Bengkulu area has been identified as the worst hit with half the area destroyed, he said.In Bengkulu, nearly 800 houses collapsed and many more were damaged, but the full extent of the quake was still unknown because of the difficulty of reaching or contacting some areas. The mayor of Padang, the capital of West Sumatra, told Reuters many people were trapped under collapsed buildings.Indonesia suffers frequent quakes, as it lies on an active seismic belt on the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire.(Additional reporting by Harry Suhartono, Adhityani Arga, and Telly Nathalia in Jakarta, John Nedi in Padang, Beawiharta in Bengkulu and Michael Perry in Sydney)

Humberto kills one as Texas border blasted By Bruce Nichols SEPT 13,07
HOUSTON (Reuters) - Hurricane Humberto spared Houston but blasted the Texas-Louisiana border area on Thursday, killing one person, shutting down three refineries and cutting power to 100,000 customers. If Houston got a pass, we got the fast-ball strike, said Greg Fountain, coordinator for Jefferson County emergency management serving the Beaumont-Port Arthur area in southeastern Texas.Humberto grew to hurricane status quicker than forecasters had expected but weakened after a few hours over land and was reclassified again as a tropical storm. The hurricane was blamed for the death of an 80-year-old man in Bridge City, between Beaumont and Port Arthur. He was killed when his patio canopy fell on him at the height of the storm, a Bridge City police spokesman said.At 11 a.m. EDT (1500 GMT) Humberto was 75 miles west-northwest of Lafayette, Louisiana, with sustained winds of about 65 mph (100 km). Rain accumulations of 4 to 8 inches (10 to 20 cm) were expected across much of Louisiana, Mississippi and part of Arkansas, with 12 inches (30 cm) possible in some spots.
Part of Humberto's target zone still was recovering from Hurricane Rita, which hit the Texas-Louisiana border in 2005 three weeks after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans.Power was out to more than 100,000 customers and damage to trees, homes and outbuildings was reported in a wide area from west of Beaumont to west of Lake Charles, Louisiana, officials said. In Orange, Texas, police dispatcher Tina Crowning reported power was out to 99 percent of the city and said water was knee-deep in some spots.Total Petrochemicals USA, Valero Energy Corp. and Motiva Enterprises LLC refineries in Port Arthur were shut down by power outages.Waterways into the Beaumont-Port Arthur and Lake Charles areas remained closed to ship traffic late Thursday morning. Houston's vital ship channel from the Gulf of Mexico was reopened after the danger passed.Houston and Lake Charles, which are major refining centers like Beaumont-Port Arthur, appeared to have escaped the worst. We were fortunate this time, said Dinah Massie Martinez, spokeswoman for Houston Transtar, a multi-agency emergency office. In between Houston and Lake Charles, it was a different story as towns such as Bridge City, Texas, and Vinton, Louisiana, faced downed power lines and roads closed due to high water. But the main artery through the area, Interstate 10, remained open, officials said.
The storm came ashore early Thursday with 85-mph (137-kph) winds in southeastern Texas and still packed a punch as it moved into southwestern Louisiana. We're getting reports that it could be, in certain areas, fairly substantial damage because of loss of power, damage to houses, tree limbs down, Fountain said. The storm blew down a tree at Fountain's house and knocked a portable building off its blocks nearby, he said.Total Petrochemicals USA's 232,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Port Arthur was closed by a power failure early Thursday but operations were expected to resume later in the day.Ship pilots shut down traffic on the Sabine-Neches Waterway serving Beaumont and Port Arthur and on the Calcasieu Ship Channel serving Lake Charles.
It's sloppy, rough, the Lake Charles pilot dispatcher said.
The storm, which brewed up in the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday, made landfall near High Island, about 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Galveston, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said. Humberto was the third hurricane of the 2007 Atlantic hurricane season, and was dwarfed by its ferocious Category 5 predecessors Dean and Felix. They struck Mexico and Central America, respectively, with Felix killing at least 130 people.

ISAIAH 28:14-19 (THIS IS THE 7 YR TREATY COVENANT OF DANIEL 9:27)
14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
DANIEL 8:23-25
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king (EU DICTATOR) of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences,(FROM THE OCCULT) shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:(SATANS POWER) and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes;(JESUS) but he shall be broken without hand.
DANIEL 11:36-40
36 And the king shall do according to his will;(EU PRESIDENT) and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces:(HES A MILITARY GINIUS) and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds (CONTROL HEZBOLLAH,AL-QUAIDA MURDERERS ETC) with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many,(HIS ARMY LEADERS) and shall divide the land for gain.
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south(EGYPT) push at him:(EU DICTATOR PROTECTING ISRAELS SECURITY) and the king of the north(RUSSIA) shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

ISAIAH 13:6-13 KJV
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:(FROM FRIGHT)
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
PA: Israel Agrees to Destroy Jewish Towns, Starting in November
by Hillel Fendel SEPT 12,07
(IsraelNN.com) The Palestinian Authority's Maan news agency has published a copy, in Hebrew, of PM Olmert's agreement to expel tens of thousands of Jews and replace them with a Palestinian state. The report states that Israel has agreed to begin destroying Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria immediately following the US-sponsored international summit this coming November. The PA claims that the document's eight points represent the principles of agreement between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, in anticipation of the upcoming Middle East summit.
The document begins by stating that Israel and the PA are to immediately enter a process that will lead to the formation of two states, Israel and Palestine, side by side, and are to reach understandings of the type detailed below. The eight points upon which Olmert and Abbas undertake to agree are the following:
1. Israel will end the occupation of the West Bank within an agreed-upon time period. The retreat and the evacuation of the settlements will occur gradually and in several stages. Each area that is evacuated will be transferred to the Palestinian Authority, which will instill law and order there. The existence of a regime in Gaza that is willing to be part of the peace process will enable Israel to view Gaza and the West Bank as one political entity.
2. An unarmed Palestinian state will be established, whose permanent borders will be based on the pre-1967 borders. The precise border will reflect security, demographic and humanitarian needs. An exchange of territory will be enabled on a 1:1 basis, to preserve settlement blocs in Israeli hands and to guarantee Palestinian contiguity and economic development.
3. There will be two capitals in Jerusalem, that of Israel and that of Palestine, and they will be sovereign over the Jewish and Arab neighborhoods, respectively. The two municipalities will cooperate for the enhancement of the quality of life of all the residents.
4. Special arrangements will be emplaced to preserve free access to all the holy sites of the various religions. A special administration will be established to maintain the two nations' bonds with the holy sites in the Old City of Jerusalem.
5. Palestine will be recognized as the national home of the Palestinian nation, and Israel will be recognized as the national home of the Jewish nation.
6. A fair and agreed solution will be found for the problem of the Palestinian refugees, with consideration and recognition of the suffering that was caused to them, and with the understanding that the implementation of national self-definition will be the main aspect of the solution.
7. The two sides will declare their willingness to end the conflict and to act to increase public support for the agreement as much as possible. The two sides will act with all their force, together and separately, against any manifestation of violence and terrorism that is directed from the area of either state to the other.
8. The two sides see this agreement as a significant manifestation of the principles of the Arab League's peace initiative, and call upon the members of the League to take operative steps to bring about its full implementation. Similarly, the sides call upon the entities represented in the Quartet and international community to guarantee and help, in various ways, to promote and actualize this agreement.
The agreement ends with this paragraph:
A document based on principles of the above type must be reached before the international summit in November, must be presented during the summit, and must be anchored in international decisions after it. Immediately following the summit, parallel with the negotiations for a detailed agreement, Israel will begin withdrawing its forces and evacuating settlements from areas in the West Bank. Completion of the various stages of evacuation will be done parallel to the completion of the negotiations.
Clauses 3 and 4 indicate that Israel has agreed to give up the Temple Mount, Judaism's most sacred spot in the world, and allow an administration to determine when Jews would be allowed to visit or pray there.
Clauses 1 and 2 do not take into account the tremendous amount of Arab-held weaponry already present in Judea and Samaria, nor the anti-Israel violence emanating from Gaza that increased dramatically upon Israel's withdrawal in 2005.
Clause 6 leaves open the possibility that Right of Return refugees would be allowed to live in Israel.
The immediate response of the Yesha Council (the body representing the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria) was this: Only a government that acts so totally wantonly would be able to suggest such an agreement, precisely on the day that dozens of its soldiers are wounded from a rocket fired from area we gave over to the Palestinians. The Yesha Council calls upon all those to whom Israel's security and welfare are of top priority to object to this calamitous process of Olmert. The Knesset Members must thwart this program, which means the division of Jerusalem, as well as Kassam rocket launchers to the outskirts of Kfar Saba and Ben Gurion International Airport.
5800-year-old Syria mass grave suggests massive bloody urban conflict
By ANI - Sunday September 9, 04:16 PM
Washington, Sept 9 (ANI): Archaeologists have found a prehistoric mass grave dating back to 5800 years in Syria, evidence that the region witnessed a bloody urban conflict of mammoth proportions during that time. The researchers unearthed the remains of more than 60 young adults from two sites about 40 feet (12 feet) apart in the ancient city of Tell Brak near the modern-day Iraq border.Augusta McMahon, field director of excavations at the archaeological site said, the bodies were probably the result of a bloody massacre that happened as warring factions battled over the Stone Age settlement. She said, given the density of human bones found so far, the final body count would likely reach around hundred. She said at the time of the conflict, Tell Brak (also known as Brak), was one of the world's oldest known cities, and was expanding rapidly, which made it a tempting prize for enemies abroad as well as for internal factions seeking control. McMahon said the wounds and the way the bodies were buried, suggested the victims died a violent death.
They were mostly from their late teens through to their mid-30s. This is the healthy part of the population-not the people who should be dying, said McMahon. She said the bodies also appeared to have been severely decomposed by the time of burial, suggesting they'd been exposed for some time. She said the skeletons had hands and feet missing, and their skulls were unattached, while limb bones were found gathered in piles.Under normal circumstances, the dead would have been buried with a certain amount of care and fairly rapidly, with grave offerings and so on, McMahon said.
No ornaments or weapons were also found with the bodies. It does look as if, after everyone died, that somebody has gone through the battlefield and extracted things of value, she said. She said the archaeological team also discovered large quantities of broken pottery vessels along with bones from goats, sheep, and up to 200 cattle over the dead, which suggested a huge feast.Such an event may represent a celebration of the victors over the vanquished or mark an act of remembrance. There's definitely a feast, but whether it's a great victory celebration or it's the commemoration of a battle in which a lot of locals died, that's something we're not yet quite sure of, McMahon said. The team is now planning to conduct a carbon and nitrogen isotope analysis of the victims' teeth to get a idea of the diet, which will provide clue as to whether those buried lived locally or not.
Other recent finds at Tell Brak may explain why the city was worth fighting over, McMahon added. The research is scheduled for publication later this year in the archaeology journal Iraq, reports National Geographic. (ANI)

Zelikow: Expect change in Middle East diplomacy
Former Rice counselor speaks at Miller Center
By Bob Gibson / bgibson@dailyprogress.com | 978-7243
September 11, 2007
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is preparing to engage in a new round of Middle Eastern diplomacy that will be more daring than policies based on a failed roadmap for Israeli-Palestinian peace, her former counselor for the past two years, Philip D. Zelikow, said Monday in Charlottesville.Zelikow, a University of Virginia history professor and former director of UVa’s Miller Center of Public Affairs, said Middle East peace talks based on frameworks talking about freedom and democracy and talking about terrorism have been tried for a generation. You can see how well that’s worked, Zelikow told a Miller Center audience. It’s been problematic. It’s had its ups and downs and right now it might be in a little bit of a trough.Zelikow said the framework that Rice will advance is more visionary than incremental and should be given a chance to succeed. He likened her role to a tightrope act.Secretary Rice is clearly going to be attempting something very ambitious, Zelikow said. The conventional wisdom in Washington is that she will fail, but he offered the advice that he said a friend learned as a child at the circus.
When someone was on the high wire, you didn’t stand up and boo, he said.Rather than continuing an incremental approach toward a roadmap for a two-state solution, the United States needs to do more in active international leadership, Zelikow said following an address on various challenges of globalization.Waiting for Palestinians to get their house in order would be like waiting for Godot. He ain’t coming, the former director of the 9/11 Commission said in reference to the Samuel Beckett play in which characters wait for a man, Godot, who never arrives. We need to do more, Zelikow said. We need to have a vision” that includes developing an end-state of common interests. The challenges of globalization, which is notably unpopular around the world, require leading nations to adopt a better framework for handling disputes than a superpower wielding its hegemony or engaging in a balance of power, he argued.
The leading nations of the world need to join in pursuing common interests while respecting local choices, Zelikow said of the essence of that framework. To defeat barbarism and preserve world civilization - an “ever more powerful global cosmopolitan web that separate civilizations have woven together in globalization - people must have respect for the identities of others, he said.Embracing limited government, cooperative prosperity, mutual security and stewardship of the planet also are keys to preserving civilization, Zelikow said.World opinion holds globalization in contempt as a threat, he cautioned.People fear they are being swept along by forces that are beyond their control, beyond their country’s control and even beyond their understanding, he said. Only 18 percent of Americans in a recent poll had a positive view of globalization, which 48 percent viewed negatively and 34 percent were undecided about.Yet barbarism exists in the world and feeds on simplistic answers that appeal usually to blood, soil or God.

ISRAEL STRIKES ARMS SHIPMENT TO LEBANON, SPOTS NUCLEAR FACILITIES IN SYRIA, AND DAMASCUS VOWS TO RETALIATE By Joel C. Rosenberg
(WASHINGTON, D.C., September 12, 2007) -- The New York Times is reporting this morning that Israeli warplanes attacked a Syrian target last week, most likely Iranian arms being shipped through Syria to Hezbollah forces in Lebanon. But the paper is also reporting something far more disturbing: Israel has recently carried out reconnaissance flights over Syria, taking pictures of possible nuclear installations that Israeli officials believed might have been supplied with material from North Korea. The Israelis think North Korea is selling to Iran and Syria what little they have left, the official said. Syria, meanwhile, is vowing to retaliate against Israel, accelerating the possibility of a horrific new war in the region, one that U.S. and Israeli officials have been concerned about for months.
Significantly, a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman called Israel's strike in Syria a very dangerous provocation little short of wantonly violating the sovereignty of Syria and seriously harassing the regional peace and security....The Democratic People's Republic of Korea strongly denounces the above-said intrusion and extends full support and solidarity to the Syrian people in their just cause to defend the national security and the regional peace. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz notes that the only countries that have expressed solidarity with Syria are Iran and North Korea, while Russia issued a condemnation of sorts.
JOSHUA FUND UPDATE:
* In our first year (August 2006 to August 2007), The Joshua Fund helped ship more than $1.5 million worth of humanitarian relief to Israel in the name of Jesus. We worked through such strategic allies as The Joseph Project, Bridges For Peace, the Jerusalem Institute for Justice, and many others. This aid included food, clothing, pots and pans, furniture, medical supplies, construction supplies, wheelchairs, toys for children, and more. During one project in Kiryat Shmona, a town of some 25,000 along the northern border with Lebanon that was hit with 1,000 missiles during last summer's war, we were able to bless about 3,500 needy Israelis -- including 700 elderly Jews. We were also able to help finance the distribution of more than 5,000 new school bags filled with study supplies to underprivileged elementary school students in Jerusalem, and a Passover 2007 project which distributed 620 food packages to needy families in the holy city.
* This past year, The Joshua Fund also sent nearly $200,000 worth of humanitarian aid to poor and needy Palestinian and Lebanese families. In Lebanon, for example, TJF partnered with established evangelical Christian ministries to provide relief packages for some 6,000 Arab families devastated by the war. The packages included non-perishable food items such as beans, rice, pasta, canned meat, processed cheese, oil, and powdered milk. In addition, each package contains basic supplies such as soap, candles, matches, and aspirin, and a JESUS film DVD in Arabic. TJF provided funds to the Palestinian Bible Society to feed needy children in Gaza after the Society's Bible bookstore was bombed by local radicals. TJF recently did a food distribution project with 110 needy families from the South Lebanon Army who have asked for political asylum in Israel. We helped a Palestinian radio station broadcasting Christian Bible teaching triple its range, enabling its broadcasts to be heard in English and Arabic all of the West Bank, Gaza and Jerusalem. We have also provided funds to care for the families of three Turkish Christian workers murdered by jihadists earlier this year.
* Currently, we are partnering with The Joseph Project to rent, outfit, staff, stock, and run a 24,000 square foot warehouse facility north of Tel Aviv. The Joseph Project, an initiative of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, has distributed more than $70 million worth of aid to poor and needy Israelis since it opened in 2000. It works through some 250 government run aid centers, 30 aid centers run by Messianic believers, as well as Israeli hospitals, the military, and various social services organizations. The problem is that the group's current 16,000 square foot warehouse facility is completely maxed out with goods that we and other organizations are helping them pre-position before the next war. By acquiring this new, larger facility, we will be able to help The Joseph Project stockpile more supplies, as well as continue distributing humanitarian relief supplies to the poor and needy throughout the holy land. Nearly one-in-four Israelis currently live below the poverty level (only $800 a month or less for a family of four). A new report just released found that some 35% of all Israeli children live in poverty. Renting and operating this new warehouse will cost $1.8 million over the next three years. This month, The Joshua Fund needs to raise $500,000 to secure this facility and get it up and running quickly, before hostilities break out. In light of the latest troubling developments in the region, we would be deeply grateful for your prayers and financial help. Thanks so much and God bless you!
EZEKIEL 38:1-3
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog,(RULER) the land of Magog,(RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW)and Tubal,(TOBOLSK) and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW) and Tubal.
EZEKIEL 39:1-8
1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog,(LEADER OF RUSSIA) and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech (MOSCOW) and Tubal: (TUBOLSK)
2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts,(RUSSIA) and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,( ARABS) and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog,(NUCLEAR BOMB) and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
JOEL 2:3,20,30-31
3 A fire(NUCLEAR BOMB) devoureth before them;(RUSSIA-ARABS) and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army,(RUSSIA,MUSLIMS) and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.(SIBERIAN DESERT)
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.(NUCLEAR BOMB)
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Russia-US talks on missile shield made no progress: Moscow SEPT 13,07
MOSCOW (AFP) - Negotiations in Paris earlier this week between the United States and Russia on a controversial planned US missile shield in central Europe failed to make headway, Russian's foreign ministry said Thursday. I could not say that there has been great progress, said Deputy Minister Sergei Kislyak, who led the Russian delegation at the talks, agency Ria Novosti reported.Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday he was optimistic that a deal could be reached with the United States to resolve the dispute. The US presented new proposals during Monday's Paris meeting in order to counter stiff opposition by Moscow. The two parties will meet again on October 3 in Moscow, US Assistant Secretary of State for international security and nonproliferation John Rood said in Paris on Monday. The United States wants to set up a tracking radar base in the Czech Republic and interceptor missiles in Poland as part of a shield that it maintains could help thwart potential attacks from Iran or North Korea.Moscow says the US defence plan poses a threat to its security, and has accused Washington of wanting to create a new Berlin Wall.
L'Shanah Tova (Happy New Year) Stan,
Rosh HaShanah SEPT 13,07
This is a Hebrew term meaning the head of the year applied to the Jewish New Year observance. Rosh HaShanah is celebrated on the first and second days of the month of Tishrei (September-October), and marks the beginning of the Ten Days of Penitence.
Rosh HaShanah, traditionally regarded as the first day of Creation, is also called Yom ha-Zikaron (The Day of Remembrance), and Yom ha-Din (Day of Judgment), in which God remembers all His creatures and passes judgment on all human beings, thus determining their lot for the year to come. Rosh HaShanah is also named Yom Teruach (The Day of the Blowing of the Ram's Horn) as a symbol of God's summons to the people for self-judgment and self-improvement. During the entire month of Elul it is customary to sound the Shofar in the synagogue as a solemn announcement of the approach of Rosh HaShanah. The days of Rosh HaShanah are devoted to prayer, solemn festivities and rest from work. At mealtime it is customary to eat sweets, such as apples and honey, as a symbol of the hope for a sweet and good year to come.
NUMBERS 29
Feast of Trumpets - September 13
1 On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets.
2 As an aroma pleasing to the LORD , prepare a burnt offering of one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
3 With the bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
4 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
5 Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
6 These are in addition to the monthly and daily burnt offerings with their grain offerings and drink offerings as specified. They are offerings made to the LORD by fire - a pleasing aroma.
Day of Atonement ~ September 22
7 On the tenth day of this seventh month hold a sacred assembly. You must deny yourselves and do no work.
8 Present as an aroma pleasing to the LORD a burnt offering of one young bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
9 With the bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
10 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
11 Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the sin offering for atonement and the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.
The Kaparot (covering/sin offering) ritual held on the eve of Yom Kippur in Jerusalem's ultra-orthodox neighborhood of Mea She'arim. Because the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in 70AD, and the sacrifices no longer take place, some orthodox Jews hold a tradition of saying prayers and slaughtering a chicken. The Kaparot ritual involves taking a chicken (a rooster for a man and a hen for a woman) or money in your right hand and revolving it over your head while reciting a prayer. The prayer finishes with the following declaration:
This is my exchange, this is my substitute, this is my atonement. This chicken will go to its death (or, if using money, this money will go to charity) while I will enter and proceed to a good long life, and peace. The chicken is then slaughtered and it (or its cash value) is given to the poor. Unlike Orthodox Jews, as Believers in Yeshua we rejoice on Yom Kippur knowing that Messiah Yeshua has taken away our sins.
Yom Kippur in the time of Yeshua (JESUS)
When the first and second Temples were standing in Jerusalem, the High Priest (Kohen Gadol) would remove his ordinary priestly robes and take a ritual bath, then he would put on special white clothes. After offering the ordinary morning sacrifice, he would offer a young bullock to atone for his own sins, as he could not intercede for the people of Israel until his own sins were atoned for. He would then carry incense into the Holy of Holies, and then return to the altar to get blood from the sacrifice, which he would sprinkle on the lid of the Ark of the Covenant (Mercy Seat) and seven times on the ground in front of the ark. After this he would sacrifice a goat for the sins of the people, and sprinkle its blood on the ark and in front of it, as he had done with the blood of the bullock. This made atonement for the Holy of Holies. Next, he provided atonement for the tabernacle by sprinkling the blood of both animals on the horns of the altar once, and seven times on the ground around it. This is where it begins to get exciting. . .
The Azazel (Scapegoat) - After this, the high priest would go out into the Temple court and lay his hands over the head of the scapegoat, confessing over it the sins of the people of Israel. Then the goat would be taken outside the city and released into the wilderness. This symbolized the removal (carrying away) of the sins from the people of Israel. According to the Talmud, a scarlet cord was tied around the neck of the scapegoat. This cord was reported to have turned white as the goat was led away from the city. The Babylonian Talmud records that for the last forty years before the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. - that would have been just about the time Yeshua was offered up as the final sacrifice - the scarlet cord around the neck of the scapegoat failed to turn white. In Yeshua, all our sins are carried away as far as east is from west (Psalm 103:12). Yeshua is not only our High Priest, but He is also the final sacrifice who has taken away our sins.
Because of that, Your Name is Written in the Book of Life.
Imagine, if in all the synagogues around the world, the rabbis were discussing the links between the scarlet cord, the scapegoat, and Yeshua. And imagine if in all the synagogues during the fall holidays they were actually reading about how Yeshua fulfilled the Jewish festivals revealed in our Messianic Prophecy Bible.

ROSH HASHANA DAY 2 SCRIPTURES
BEFORE WE GET TO ROSH HASHANA DAY 2 SCRIPTURES, HERES THE SCRIPTURES OF THE 7 YR TREATY I BELIEVE WILL BE SIGNED ON THIS DAY IN THE FUTURE AS WELL AS THE RETURN TO EARTH LITERALLY OF JESUS AND THE RAPTURED CHRISTIANS 7 YEARS LATER. AS WELL AS THE JUDGEMENT OF THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD AS TO HOW THEY TREATED THE ISRAELIS A MONTH OR SO LATER IN THE FUTURE.
THE 7 YR TREATY SCRIPTURES ON THIS DAY IN THE FUTURE.
Heres the scripture 1 week = 7 yrs
Genesis 29:27-29
27 Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.
28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.
29 And Laban gave to Rachel his daughter Bilhah his handmaid to be her maid.
DANIEL 9:27 (THIS IS THE TREATY)
27 And he( THE ROMAN,EU PRESIDENT) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:(1X7=7 YEARS) and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,(3 1/2 yrs in TEMPLE SACRIFICES STOPPED) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
THE 2ND OCCURENCE ON ROSH HASHANA IN THE FUTURE IS THE LITERAL,VISUAL, BODILY RETURN TO EARTH OF JESUS AND THE RAPTURED CHRISTIANS 7 YEARS LATER EXACTLY TO JUDGE THE NATIONS AND TO RULE FOR 1000 YEARS , THEN FOREVER FROM JERUSALEM WHICH THEN BECOMES THE WORLD CAPITAL NOT JUST THE ISRAELIS CAPITAL.
AT THE END OF THE 7 YEAR TRIBULATION, THE TRUE MESSIAH JESUS RETURNS TO EARTH BODILY TO RULE AND REIGN FROM DAVIDS THRONE FOREVER AND WE COME BACK WITH HIM ON WHITE HORSES.
ACTS 1:10-11
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
JOEL 3:2
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
ZECHARIAH 14:4
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
REVELATION 19:11-16
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
JUDE 14-16
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
AND 45 DAYS LATER IN THE FUTURE AFTER THIS DATE AFTER THE FUTURE 7 YEAR TREATY AND BODILY RETURN TO EARTH OF THE TRUE MESSIAH. THE JUDGENMENT OF THE NATIONS.
DANIEL 12:8-13
8 And I (DANIEL) heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, (at the 3 1/2 yr mark of the 7 yr treaty) and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
MATTHEW 25:31-46
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
ROSH HASHANA DAY 2 SCRIPTURES 6PM DAY 2 STARTS
ROSH HASHANA DAY 2 SCRIPTURES TORAH
Genesis 22:1-24 - King James Bible
1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
20 And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;
21 Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,
22 And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel.
23 And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.
24 And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah.
NUMBERS 29:1-6 - King James Bible
1 And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
2 And ye shall offer a burnt offering for a sweet savor unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year without blemish:
3 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram,
4 And one tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
5 And one kid of the goats for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you:
6 Beside the burnt offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according unto their manner, for a sweet savor, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
DAY 2 ROSH HASHANA PROPHETS SCRIPTURES
Jeremiah 31:1-19 - King James Bible
1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
7 For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
ROSH HASHANA DAY 2 NEW TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES
1 THESSOLONIANS 4:13-18 King James Bible
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
REVELATION CHAPTERS 8:1-13, 9:1-21 - King James Bible
1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
20 And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;

Quake triggers tsunami in Indonesia By ROBIN McDOWELL, Associated Press Writer SEPT 13,07
JAKARTA, Indonesia - A massive earthquake struck Indonesia on Wednesday, triggering a tsunami in the town of Padang and warnings for much of the Indian Ocean region, authorities said. The quake caused tall buildings to sway in at least four countries. A wave of up to 9 feet was reported to have hit Padang about 20 minutes after the quake, said Suhardjono, an official with Indonesia's meteorological agency, who goes by only one name.Communication has been difficult since then, he said. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center also reported that a small tsunami hit Padang.Residents in Bengkulu — the Sumatran town closest to the epicenter, where at least one building was demolished — said the quake triggered panic and that people ran inland.Everyone is running out of their houses in every direction, according to Wati Said, who spoke by cell phone standing outside her house. We think our neighborhood is high enough. God willing, if the water comes, it will not touch us here.Communication is cut, we can't call out, she added. I don't know how you contacted us. Everyone is afraid.
The temblor could also be felt in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, 375 miles away, where office workers streamed down the stairwells of tall, swaying buildings. Some people in high-rises in neighboring Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand also felt the quake. The U.S. Geological Survey said the underwater quake had a preliminary magnitude of 7.9 and hit at about 6:10 p.m. (7:10 a.m. EDT). It was centered 80 miles southwest of Sumatra island at a depth of 18.6 miles.Earthquakes of this size have the potential to generate a widespread destructive tsunami that can affect coastlines across the entire Indian Ocean Basin, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said, warning that waves could hit Indonesia and Australia within an hour, and Sri Lanka and India within three hours. It lifted the alert for Indonesia about two hours later.
In India, officials said nothing was felt in the remote Andaman and Nicobar islands, some of which are just 150 miles north of Sumatra. The Indian government issued a tsunami alert for the islands, and officials were telling local authorities to take precautions on the far-flung islands, said Dharam Pal, the regional relief commissioner.Indonesia, the world's largest archipelago, is prone to seismic upheaval due to its location on the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, an arc of volcanos and fault lines encircling the Pacific Basin. In December 2004, a massive earthquake struck off Sumatra island and triggered a tsunami that killed more than 230,000 people in a dozen countries, including 160,000 people in Indonesia's westernmost province of Aceh.
Rosh HaShana 5768 SEPT 12 6 PM
One of the most remarkable aspects of the holiday of Rosh HaShana is its universality. On this day the future of Israel and of the entire world will be determined. Although it is invariably referred to as the Jewish New Year, this description is inaccurate and misleading in the same way that referring to the Holy Temple in Jerusalem as the Jewish Temple totally misses the mark. Both are expressions of G-d’s love and concern for the entire world. On Rosh HaShana, all of creation passes before G-d in judgment. Every individual as well as every nation; kings and commoners, princes and paupers. For all are the descendants of Adam, the first man, and Rosh HaShana is his birthday – the anniversary of his creation. This judgment is the world’s birthday party. Were you expecting balloons and party games? As opposed to the secular notion of a birthday bash characterized by wild abandonment, a celebration of me – this birthday celebration reflects the most central concept in the entire Torah – personal responsibility and integrity. The challenge of choice that awaits us every moment of our lives. The acceptance of personal responsibility, the Torah teaches, is the true measure of a man – and G-d practices what He preaches. On the very day that he brought humanity into the world, on the very day that He breathed life into man, He reviews each one of man’s children, to determine exactly how that breath is being used. For Isaiah the prophet tells us that there is only one reason that G-d brought forth all of creation: Everyone that is called by My name, and whom I created for My glory, I formed him, yea I made him (Is. 43:7). And now, on Rosh HaShana, G-d seeks to determine whether we as individuals and nations are aiding that process, and adding to His glory, or holding back His goal.
A lot of people want to be king. The lesson of Rosh HaShana, simply put, is that there is no room for two kings in this world. To be a loyal subject requires total commitment: And you shall love the L-rd your G-d with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might (Deut. 6). Each of us must make a determination and tell the truth:
Have we been true subjects of the King? Or have we been worshipping ourselves?
G-d looks for the good in all of us. He seeks to bestow His benevolence on man. But ultimately, life is about the choices we continue to make at every moment. It’s all up to us, as the sages of Israel teach: Everything is in the hands of Heaven, except for the fear of Heaven. G-d tells us that He would really appreciate it if we would make the right choices: See, I have placed before you today the life and the good, and the death and the evil, that which I command you today, to love the L-rd, your G-d, to walk in His ways, to observe His commandments... I call upon heaven and earth to bear witness against you, I have placed life and death before you, blessing and curse, and you shall choose life, so that you will live... (Deut. 30). Ultimately, all G-d can do is hope for the best. It really is up to us. On Rosh HaShana, He seeks to validate the world, to assure Himself that it really was worthwhile to create man after all – whom I created for My glory. We live in a bold new world, one that requires us to make bold choices. The first choice is to choose life. It is not the Holy One, blessed be He, who will write us into the book of life, or, Heaven forbid, the opposite – it is we ourselves who make the choice, through our actions, and write our own names into the book of our choice.
On Rosh HaShana, we are presented with the opportunity to transcend our personal confines, and become united as subjects of the King, as man’s descendants should be thus collectively validating the purpose of creation. The Holy Temple, too, is an aspect of the wholeness and collective healing of mankind. It is designed to reflect the light of the Divine Presence into a world of deception. The images we perceive, chase after, and obsess about throughout the frail days of our lives are only optical illusions. Real vision only comes about when our eyes our enlightened by the resting of the Divine Presence in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. On the eve of Rosh HaShana, we extend heartfelt blessings for a New Year of peace, health, prosperity and joy. May G-d look upon us and say: Yes. This is what I had in mind.May our lives validate the chance He took on us, and with our integrity and responsibility, may we inscribe ourselves in the Book of Life.

Putin names surprise nominee for PM By MIKE ECKEL, Associated Press Writer
SEPT 12,07
MOSCOW - President Vladimir Putin dismissed his long-serving prime minister Wednesday and nominated little-known Cabinet official Victor Zubkov to replace him in a surprise move that could put Zubkov in the running to replace Putin next year.
The nomination of Zubkov, who currently oversees the government's fight against money-laundering, appeared to have caught much of the Russian political elite off-guard.Putin had been expected to announce in December whom he would back to run for president next year — and Russia's two first deputy prime ministers — former Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov and gas giant Gazprom board chairman Dmitry Medvedev — were widely considered to be the leading contenders. After dismissing Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov — triggering the government's automatic dissolution — Putin explained the shakeup was required to prepare the country for forthcoming elections. Legislative elections are to be held Dec. 2, and presidential elections are expected three months later.
State Duma speaker Boris Gryzlov backed the 65-year-old Zubkov's nomination, saying his life path and professional activities in various fields undoubtedly allow him to lead the Cabinet of the Russian Federation. He said the lower house of parliament, the State Duma, could vote on the nomination as early as Friday.Zubkov's position in the Cabinet was relatively obscure; the Financial Monitoring Service he headed is an arm of the Finance Ministry that investigated money-laundering.Zubkov also served under Putin when the two worked in the city administration of St. Petersburg in the early 1990s. Putin has regularly tapped former colleagues from St. Petersburg to head top posts in the government.Putin is wildly popular among Russians, having brought stability and relative prosperity after the often chaotic presidency of his predecessor, Boris Yeltsin. As a result, whoever is nominated for the presidency by Putin is expected to win easily.

Oil extends rise above $78 a barrel By PABLO GORONDI, Associated Press Writer SEPT 12,07
Oil prices extended their rise above $78 a barrel Wednesday after finishing at a record close the previous session as a production increase from OPEC failed to calm market concerns about the availability of supplies for winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Light, sweet crude for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 19 cents $78.42 in electronic trading by afternoon in Europe. It had risen 74 cents Tuesday to settle at $78.23 a barrel — 2 cents higher than the previous record close on July 31.That came after an announced increase in output by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries did not reassure markets about the ability of producers to meet strong demand in the final quarter of the year, analysts said.October Brent crude gained 10 cents at US$76.39 a barrel on the ICE futures in London.
The supply and demand balance, though, was slightly muddied when the Paris-based International Energy Agency lowered its world oil demand growth forecast for this year on Wednesday to 1.7 percent from 1.8 percent a month ago, and for next year to 2.4 percent from 2.5 percent. The energy watchdog cited a mix of downward economic revisions, high energy prices and mild weather for cutting its growth outlook for this year by 100,000 barrels a day to 85.9 million barrels a day, and for next year by 70,000 barrels a day to 88 million barrels a day.The IEA also said it is as yet unlikely that oil demand in the U.S. and key emerging economies will fall dramatically following the subprime crisis that has roiled global financial markets in recent weeks. The short-term weaker demand picture also saw the agency cut its implied need for oil from OPEC in the coming two quarters by 300,000 barrels a day, to 32.8 million barrels a day and 32.1 million barrels a day, respectively.
OPEC, which produces about 40 percent of the world's oil, announced its decision to boost output by 500,000 barrels a day starting Nov. 1 at a meeting Tuesday. The cartel's new output target is 27.2 million barrels a day. That effectively acknowledges the estimated 900,000 barrels OPEC already was pumping over its former target of 25.8 million barrels a day.Investors had already priced in OPEC's increase, and many were looking for a larger production boost, analysts said.Half a million barrels a day is not nothing; the question on the market's mind is: Is it enough? said Tobin Gorey, a commodities strategist with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Sydney. There's a view that final quarter demand will be quite strong, Gorey said. In the end it's going to come down to how cold the Northern winter is.
Traders were also eyeing the release later Wednesday of U.S. government data on petroleum inventories. Analysts surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires, on average, expect the U.S. Energy Department's Energy Information Administration to say crude oil inventories fell 2.7 million barrels in the week ended Sept. 7.Gasoline inventories likely fell 500,000 barrels last week, while refinery utilization fell 0.1 percentage points to 92 percent of capacity, the survey showed. Inventories of distillates, which include heating oil and diesel fuel, rose 1.4 million barrels, the analysts predicted.Heating oil futures rose 0.05 cent to $2.1832 a gallon on the Nymex, while gasoline prices dropped 1.09 cents to $1.9702 a gallon. Natural gas futures gained 15.3 cents to $6.087 per 1,000 cubic feet.Associated Press Writer Gillian Wong in Singapore contributed to this report.

JAMES 5:1-3
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
REVELATION 18:10,17,19
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
EZEKIEL 7:19
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
Stocks flat after Tuesday's big gains By MADLEN READ, AP Business Writer
SEPT 12,07
NEW YORK - Stocks tottered in search of a direction Wednesday as investors had little news to help them extend the previous session's sharp gains. Many investors were adjusting their positions while they waited to see what the Federal Reserve will do next Tuesday, when the central bank meets to discuss interest rates. A lowering of the federal funds rate by a quarter percentage point is widely expected.
Trading has been marked by sharp volatility in recent weeks as investors search for a sense of the economy's strength amid an ongoing housing slump and credit market problems. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 7.80, or 0.06 percent, to 13,300.59 after rising 180 points on Tuesday.Broader stock indexes were mixed. The Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 0.44, or 0.03 percent, to 1,471.05, while the Nasdaq composite index rose 2.83, or 0.11 percent, to 2,600.30.Bond prices rose as investors stockpiled secure government issues. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note, which moves opposite its price, dipped to 4.34 percent from 4.37 percent late Tuesday. On Tuesday, the market rallied as investors grew more optimistic about a rate cut. But overseas equity markets didn't follow suit on Wednesday.
In Asia, Japan's Nikkei stock average closed down 0.50 percent amid political uncertainty after Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced Wednesday he will resign, ending a troubled year-old government that has suffered damaging scandals. In Europe, Britain's FTSE 100 slipped 0.36 percent, Germany's DAX index fell 0.26 percent, and France's CAC-40 lost 0.01 percent.Meanwhile, the U.S. dollar continued its slide against the euro, hitting a record low early before clawing back some ground. The dollar was also weaker against the yen, but higher versus the pound. Gold prices rose.Commodity prices in several markets hovered at record highs on Wednesday ahead of the weekly U.S. inventory report. Oil prices fell 3 cents to $78.20 a barrel, after closing at a record $78.23 Tuesday. Wheat prices finished just shy of $9 a bushel on Tuesday — an all-time peak — up from about $5 a bushel in May.In corporate news, Texas Instruments Inc., world's largest maker of chips used in cellular phones, fell 62 cents to $35.11 after offering a third-quarter outlook late Tuesday that fell below Street expectations.

ISAIAH 26:21
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.(WW3,1/2 earths population die).

ZEPHANIAH 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Israel believes N. Korea selling nuke material to Syria Wed Sep 12, 5:11 AM ET
WASHINGTON (AFP) - Israel recently carried out reconnaissance flights over Syria, taking pictures of possible nuclear installations that Israeli officials believed might have been supplied with material from North Korea, The New York Times reported Thursday. A US administration official said Israeli officials believed that North Korea might be unloading some of its nuclear material on Syria, the Times reported.
The Israelis think North Korea is selling to Iran and Syria what little they have left, the unidentified official was quoted as saying.A US defense official confirmed Tuesday that Israel carried out an air strike well inside Syria last week, apparently to send Damascus a message not to rearm Hezbollah in Lebanon. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not know the target of the strike, which was conducted Thursday, but said the US military believed it was to send a message to the Syrians. The Israelis are trying to tell the Syrians: Don't support a resurgence of Hezbollah in Lebanon.Israel fought a devastating 34-day war in July and August 2006 against Hezbollah, whose missile firepower and use of sophisticated weaponry surprised the Israelis.
Blair calls for expanding Palestinian forces By Adel Abu Nimeh
SEPT 12,07
JERICHO, West Bank (Reuters) - Middle East envoy Tony Blair, seeking to bolster Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking efforts, said on Wednesday it was critical to expand the capabilities of Palestinian security forces. Israel is reluctant to set a strict timetable for any peace moves after a U.S.-sponsored conference without more guarantees that Palestinian forces can prevent attacks on Israel if the Jewish state eases or ends its occupation of the West Bank. The debate over deadlines comes amid signs of progress this week in talks between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over the outlines of an agreement that would be presented at the conference, to be held near Washington as early as November 15, or later that month.Israeli officials said Olmert would be open to rough timelines as long as the Israeli steps are tied to reciprocal moves by the Palestinians on matters like disarming militants, as called for under the long-stalled U.S. roadmap peace plan. After touring a Palestinian police training facility in the West Bank city of Jericho, Blair told reporters: We've got to try to build the capability of the Palestinian forces.
This training facility is a really important part of that so we've got to give it every support, the former British prime minister said after watching recruits quell a mock riot. The public comments were Blair's first since arriving in the region last week on his second visit as special envoy for the Quartet of Middle East mediators -- the United States, the European Union, Russia and the United Nations. The United States has stepped up efforts to bolster Abbas's forces since Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip in June.
TIMELINES
Palestinian officials see timelines as a way of pressuring Israel to take difficult steps that would help them sell any agreement to the Palestinian public.Israeli officials caution that setting dates that risk not being met only raise frustration on both sides. These are negotiations and, in the end, you compromise, said an official close to Olmert.Olmert and Abbas agreed on Monday to appoint negotiating teams to try to narrow differences over final-status issues like borders, the future of Jerusalem and Palestinian refugees. There has been progress. Both sides know they need success and they need a document, said another senior Israeli official familiar with the deliberations. But the official added that the conference was one step in a very long process.A major sticking point, the official said, was over Abbas's call for deadlines for implementing any agreements. They want a tight and strict schedule for implementation, the Israeli official said. Naturally we can't commit to a tight and strict schedule. An Israeli Foreign Ministry official said Israel wanted any timetables to be performance-based.A timeline that ignores performance is not effective and when you don't meet a specific target date it can only create more problems and frustration, the official said. We believe that artificial timelines have been just that. We're very much supportive of the sort of timelines in the roadmap, which means its a performance-based process.(Additional reporting by Adam Entous in Jerusalem and Wafa Amr in Ramallah)

21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.(WW3,1/2 earths population die).

GENESIS 21:1-33 - King James Bible
1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.
5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.
9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
13 And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.
14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
15 And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.
18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
20 And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.
22 And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:
23 Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned. 24 And Abraham said, I will swear.
25 And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.
26 And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing; neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.
27 And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.
28 And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
29 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
30 And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.
31 Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they sware both of them. 32 Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.
33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.
34 And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' land many days.

6 Beside the burnt offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according unto their manner, for a sweet savor, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
ROSH HASHANA DAY 1 PROPHETS
1 SAMUEL 1:1-2:10 - King James Bible
1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
2 And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
3 And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
4 And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.
6 And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.
7 And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
8 Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?
9 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.
10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.
20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.
21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
22 But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.
23 And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
24 And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.
25 And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.
26 And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.
27 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:
28 Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.
1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
4 The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
5 They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.
9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

MATTHEW 24:1-51 - King James Bible
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
MARK CHAPTER 13:1-37 - King James Bible
1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
LUKE CHAPTER 21:1-38 - King James Bible
1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
