One of those patients underwent surgery and is in critical but stable condition, according to CP24.St. Michael's Hospital also said it admitted five patients, whose injuries range from serious to critical. Three of those patients underwent "immediate, life-saving surgery."The gunman died from gunshot wounds at the scene. The SIU is working to determine how the man died and whether there was any police wrongdoing."I can tell you there was an exchange of gunfire," Saunders told reporters at the news conference. "I'm glad my officers are safe. I'm glad that it's resolved.
