ISAIAH 66:15-18
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

ISAIAH 26:21
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.(WW3,1/2 earths population die).

ISAIAH 13:6-13 KJV
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:(FROM FRIGHT)
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous (DANGEROUS) times shall come.

JOEL 2:3,30
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.(1/2-3 BILLION DIE IN WW3)

EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

ZEPHANIAH 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

REVELATION 8:7
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

REVELATION 9:18
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

HALF OF EARTHS POPULATION DIE DURING THE 7 YR TRIBULATION.(THESE VERSES ARE JUDGEMENT SCRIPTURES NOT RAPTURE SCRIPTURES)
LUKE 17:34-37
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.(Christians have new bodies, this is the people against Jerusalem during the 7 yr treaty)(Christians bodies are not being eaten by the birds).

MATTHEW 24:37-51
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Op-Ed: After the Storm: Let the Israelites Go?
Published: 28/08/11, 1:17 AM

How many plagues will it take to get the message? Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe of Our Land of Israel said G-d is warning the Obama administration to stop pressuring Israel, but even Charles Krauthammer sees a connection.Prof. Phyllis Chesler is the author of fifteen books, including Women and Madness (Doubleday, 1972), The Death of Feminism: What's Next in the Struggle for Women's Freedom (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005) and most recently, The New Anti-Semitism. She is the co-founder of the Association for Women in Psychology and the National Women's Health Network.

Sunday night, Manhattan was eerily, spookily silent and deserted. Broadway remained dark, many restaurants shut down, there was absolutely no public transportation. There still isn’t—although our Mayor has estimated that some buses might be back in service by nightfall. Friends and relatives are without power in many of New York state’s suburbs and boroughs. Some have wet, others have flooded basements. In Riverdale, the Bronx, many huge and ancient trees crashed to earth, blocking streets, highways, destroying private homes, leading to fires and smoke when they fell on power lines. The boroughs, Long Island, Westchester county, New Jersey are really suffering. People who refused to be evacuated are now surrounding by rising waters which will continue to rise; now, they are requesting emergency evacuation..

No one knows when the power will be returned to those who have lost power nor when public transportation will be back up and running. The sea water and the rain water broke all sea walls and barriers and are now flooding streets. The pictures are devastating.4.5 million people are now without power on the East coast. Eighteen people have died. It is estimated that rivers and creeks could still dangerously rise in the wake of Tropical Storm.Fire fighters, police officers, electrical workers are out in full force today. Most television programs have been cancelled and are focusing on the aftermath of hurricane Irene. Every screen shows us flooded and tree-damaged boardwalks, streets, and homes in New Jersey, on Long Island, and up the New England coast. Here, closer to home, the downtown promenade at Battery City Park is flooded—but those who live there were, wisely, evacuated yesterday. My neighborhood, my apartment building were passed over in the Biblical sense. The tree right outside my kitchen and living room windows did not fall. There it remains, leafy and green, upright, constant. I was lucky; many others were less lucky. We are told that about ten people died during this natural disaster. The cost in terms of property damage and economic loss is not yet known. No looting has occurred to the best of my knowledge, and the spirit of the people is admirable, hardy, philosophical, uncomplaining. They are predicting a sunny, happy little
week. Finally, to paraphrase a rather wonderful tweet of Charles Krauthammer: First an earthquake, now a hurricane, eight more plagues and we ought to let the Israelites go!

Before the storm:

The shadow of 9/11 still hovers over New York City; it has never really left. From that moment on, everyone—now even those who have just been evacuated—are relieved that all these emergency preparations are in response to an act of Nature, a hurricane, not to an act of terrorism. For a long while now, no matter what happened, once it was clear that terrorism was not involved, the very people who would ordinarily complain piteously would, instead, say, Ah, it’s not so bad.We were all relieved that the power failure, stopped train, calamities of every sort --Inconvenient, economically costly, unpleasant, sometimes even dangerous—are still okay. If it’s not another 9/11 or a new American version of Madrid’s 3/11, or London’s 7/7, or Mumbai’s prolonged and terrible siege, we’re okay, we’re alright, it could always be worse, it could be Al Qaeda or any one of the Islamic jihadic groups that ply their diabolical arts of death all over the world, preying on their own people as well as on infidels. Here I sit in Manhattan, a little excited, a little afraid. A brief and sudden downpour came and left earlier today, mid-morning. The fierce rains have not yet hit us. But I am watching the weather, as it begins to hit North Carolina with offshore winds of 90 mph, wind gusts of 104 mph and 19 foot offshore waves. The Carolinas were supposed to be lucky because the hurricane is expected to hit at low tide, but there are fatalities there. They forecast a high tide hit in New York City but not until later tonight or tomorrow. The Virginia coast is being hard hit right now, at high tide. This minute, Mayor Bloomberg is addressing the city again. He is explaining that hurricanes work by having bands of rain and then no rain before they hit you with full gale force. He is telling New Yorkers to expect heavy winds by 9pm tonight and major winds by 8am Sunday morning. He is warning us about possible flying glass on high floors and of electrical failures.

He said that buildings are being asked to shut down their elevators so that people will not find themselves stuck and unreachable for a long period of time. The man means to protect us but he is scaring me.Everyone I know, myself included, have stocked up on water, candles, flashlights, batteries, a radio, and food. Some benighted souls still believe that they will be able to fly out tonight or tomorrow or even on Monday to Paris, Rome, London, Tel Aviv. I am afraid this is wishful non-thinking.And here is what troubles me. A terrorist could take real advantage of such natural chaos. So could any number of London-style looters, those Clockwork Orange kids run amuck. But what is really on my mind right now is yet another New York Times article about Israel titled Israel Faces Painful Challenges as Ties Shift With Arab Neighbors in Upheaval.I am not even commenting on the piece. I am only interested in the photos.Of course, the large four-column wide photo was taken by Rina Castelnuovo who shows us a blonde Aryan-looking female Israeli soldier checking a sea of more Semitic-looking Palestinian women (all in hijab) at the Kalandia crossing.Peace Rina: I once wrote about the way in which Castelnuovo’s photos are invariably used by this Israel-bashing newspaper and she wrote to me privately, offended, puzzled, hurt.My point is not about whether her photos are excellent or depict reality or not, but rather the use to which they are put.Right under Castelnuovo’s photo of the armed Israeli soldier are two other small photos: One is presumably a photo of the rubble in Gaza caused by an Israeli airstrike; the other shows us a demonstrator chanting anti-Israeli slogans in Cairo on Friday.By the way, the single demonstrator is surrounded by a sea of uncaptioned supporters. Why is the incitement against Israel never the headline in the Paper of Record? Why is it presented in miniature here, and dwarfed by two other photos, one very large, both meant to demonize Israel? Meant to brainwash people into viewing Israel falsely as a colonialist, apartheid, aggressive nation state? Yes, this is what preoccupies me even as the storm is about to hit my beloved New York City.May we all be safe, may no more lives be lost, may God watch over us.

Israel could not stop nuclear Iran with one strike
ReutersBy Ari Rabinovitch | Reuters – AUG 29,11

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel would not be able to halt Iran's reported quest for atomic weapons with a single strike, a senior Israeli defense official said on Sunday.Israel and the West suspect Iran is trying to use its nuclear program to develop atomic weapons, a charge denied by Tehran which says it wants to generate electricity. Both Israel and the United States have hinted they might consider taking military action as a last resort to stop Iran getting the bomb. The defense official, who in line with Israeli army guidelines declined to be identified, mentioned Iran during a review of the security situation in the Middle East in a briefing to foreign reporters. We're not talking about Iraq or Syria where one strike would derail a program, the official said, referring to Israel's 1981 air strike that destroyed Iraq's atomic reactor and the bombing in 2007 of a Syrian site which the U.N. atomic agency said was very likely a nuclear reactor. With Iran it's a different project. There is no one silver bullet you can hit and that's over, the official said.

Israeli leaders have urged the United States and other Western countries to present Tehran with a credible military threat to back up economic sanctions already in place. The official said the United States stood a better chance of forcing Iran to change its mind over its nuclear program than Israel. With all respect to Israel ... the greatest fear of the (Iranian) regime is the USA. There is no question about it.
Some analysts say the likelihood of an imminent Israeli war with Iran has ebbed, thanks to the perceived success of political pressure on Tehran.Recent Israeli estimates do not show Iran developing nuclear weapons before 2015.Israel is widely believed to have the only nuclear arsenal in the Middle East, and Iran has accused it of hypocrisy over the issue.(Reporting by Ari Rabinovitch; Editing by Andrew Heavens)

REBUILT 3RD TEMPLE (THE EU DICTATORS TEMPLE)

ISAIAH 30:10-15
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.
15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

REVELATION 11:1-2
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

DANIEL 9:27

REBUILT 4TH TEMPLE (THE TRUE MESSIAHS TEMPLE)

ZECHARIAH 6:12-13
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

ISAIAH 60:9-10
9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

ISAIAH 2:1-5
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

MARK 11:9-10,15-17
9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Bringing Texas Longhorns Home - to Israel-Texas Longhorn breed cows may be what Israeli ranchers need to help their herds thrive and resist theft by cattle rustlers
by David Lev Published: 29/08/11, 4:35 PM

One of the biggest problems Israeli farmers in the north and south of the country face are constant thefts by Arabs and Bedouin, who swoop in and steal crops, equipment, livestock, and anything else they can get their hands on. Farmers complain that police are unhelpful, if not downright dismissive – to the extent that farmers now have their own patrols, looking out for bands of thieves who, in one night, can cause hundreds of thousands of shekels worth of financial and physical damage. While patrols are important – as is increased police vigilance – Robin Rosenblatt of the Israel Longhorn Project has another idea that he thinks could help: Crossbreeding Israeli cows (mostly Simmental, and various crossbreeds of Charolais and Herefords) with Texas Longhorns – the tough guys of the feedlot, which are able to stand up to the difficult climate conditions in Israel and the natural predators inherent in the semi-desert conditions prevalent in many parts of Israel, and which can also defend themselves against aggressors – even marauding Arab thieves, says Rosenblatt. The project has its roots in a 1996 seminar Rosenblatt took at Hebrew University. Having studied animal science in both Israel and his native California, Rosenblatt said that the class visited many ranches, but discovered that there was a lot about cow-raising the ranchers didn't know. There were lots of diseases and parasites, and already at that time there was the problem of invasive shrubs and cacti that were quickly spreading,he says, resulting in calf losses as high as 30%, low reproduction rates, and other problems. As a result, more cattle need to feed on pasture, and more pasture is required to compensate for the losses, causing more environmental damage.

Texas Longhorns could provide a major boost to Israeli cattle, says Rosenblatt. Considered among the elite of the cow world, Texas Longhorns with elite genetics can often fetch $40,000 or more at auction, with the record of $170,000 in recent history for a cow. Today, they are used mostly for breeding, and those tough Texas genes, when interbred with Israel's current livestock herds, will produce cows that will be able to thrive in Israel's harsh climate. They give birth more easily, protect their young more effectively, are able to subsist on shrubs, tree leaves, cactus and weeds, are able to go further with less water and lower quality water, and are highly resistant to disease and infections, says Rosenblatt.Texas Longhorns thrive and survive in almost any condition with minimal maintenance, and they interbreed well. With a little experimentation, we will able to determine the ideal balance between Texas Longhorn and other production breeds, like Herefords; we might find, for example, that a cow that is 40% Longhorn and 60% Hereford gives the best results of meat, with the survival characteristics we want to develop in herds,he adds. And Longhorns are the perfect breed to deal with predators of any type – from jackals to Arab thieves, says Rosenblatt. Longhorns are well known for their protection of their young, and their herds. When approached by a predator, for example, Longhorns are known for their banding together to rush – or even gore, with their substantial horns – the predator, who usually gets the message before facing dozens of huge cows barreling down on him. It's certainly an innovative idea – but an expensive one, too. Rosenblatt has several major donors, and ideally would like to open a ranch in Israel, where he would be begin crossbreeding trials (his organization's website is http://longhorn-project.org/). Interestingly says Rosenblatt, bring Texas Longhorns to Israel would basically bringing them home. Texas Longhorn originated east of Israel some 5 to 7,000 year ago and migrated west. Columbus brought them to the America-Mexico deserts,Rosenblatt says. American ranchers carefully improved them for today’s market needs while maintaining their desert characteristics. Texas Longhorn is the ideal breed for semi desert countries – like Israel.

Israel’s Oil and Gas Fields May Be Bonanza for Louisiana-Israel’s new standing in the oil and gas industry presents a bonanza to Louisiana, which exports $306 million in goods to Israel.by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu Published: 29/08/11, 2:48 PM

Israel’s new standing in the oil and gas industry presents a bonanza of business opportunities to Louisiana, which exports $306 million worth of goods to Israel annually.Israel now ranks as Louisiana's 17th leading trade partner in 2010, and Israel is its 17th leading trade partner. Since 1996, the southern state, where oil and gas rigs operate, has exported nearly $4 billion in goods to Israel. The New Orleans U.S. Export Assistance Center, Le Centre International de Lafayette and the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exhibition, is planning to host local businessmen Wednesday in a program of Doing Business in Israel. The recent massive natural gas finds off Israel’s Mediterranean coast, where possible commercial quantities of oil also are being drilled, has turned Israel into a future energy exporter that as attracted energy producers and manufacturers.Economists have said that most Israelis have not woken up to a real economic revolution that will provide thousands of jobs, make Israel a key player in the energy industry, and may make strengthen the shekel.

The Leviathan gas field west of Haifa has been described as the largest natural gas discovery in the world in recent years.Among officials attending the Louisiana conference is a senior representative of Noble Energy, which has a high stake in Israel’s newly discovered gas fields.Recent upwardly revised estimates of natural gas reserves in the Tamar field, in which Noble has a one-third stake, may indicate even larger quantizes than previously estimated at the Leviathan field, which is three times larger than Tamar. The two fields contain at least 25 trillion cubic feet of gas, enough to supply Israel for decades and still leave plenty for export.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Ashton talks of stalled peace process with Israeli leaders AFP – AUG 29,11

Catherine Ashton, the European Union's chief diplomat, on Sunday met Israeli leaders to discuss the stalled Mideast peace process, as Palestinians plan to seek UN membership next month. The contribution of Europe to the peace process is very important as we approach the (UN) General Assembly, said Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak before talks with Ashton. But he said we believe that it is very unfortunate and unproductive that the Palestinians are approaching the UN General Assembly.Ashton, welcomed Sunday evening by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres, merely indicated that she was coming to the region to continue discussions with the Palestinians and Israelis on the Middle East peace process. In a brief statement she said it is her desire that peace negotiations restart.Ashton arrived in the region on Saturday for a three-day visit aimed at pushing Israel and the Palestinians to resume direct negotiations, which have been on hold since last September in an intractable dispute over Jewish settlement building.Earlier on Sunday, Ashton laid the foundation stone of a new office building of the Palestinian Authority in Jenin in the northern West Bank in the presence of Palestinian prime minister Salam Fayyad. There she praised Fayyad for his incredible work to build institutions of a state.

On Saturday, she met Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas who has sought the support of EU members towards Palestinians' plan to seek UN membership next month. Israel strongly opposes the plan. The unilateral demand of the Palestinians is a violation of commitments by the Palestinians in their agreements with Israel, Netanyahu warned in talks Sunday with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr-Store.The Palestinian leadership sees progress in the European Union's position on its plan, a senior PLO official told AFP on Sunday. There is progress in the European stance and a willingness to coordinate with the Palestinian leadership over the type of resolution we are looking for, said PLO secretary general Yasser Abed Rabbo.During talks with Abbas on Saturday evening, Ashton said the EU position would depend on the wording of the Palestinian proposal to be presented to UN chief Ban Ki-moon on September 20, Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat told AFP.Europe is currently divided over the Palestinian bid for UN membership, with Germany and Italy publicly opposed to the move, while Spain has said it will vote in favour; Britain and France are keeping their cards close to their chests.Palestinians expect more than 150 countries of the 192 UN member countries to endorse Palestinian membership. This, however, is still not enough to ratify an application for UN membership, which must be approved by the UN Security Council where Washington has pledged to use its veto against the initiative. But the General Assembly could raise the Palestinians' standing at the UN from its current observer status to that of a non-member state, Palestinian foreign minister Riyad al-Malki and other officials have said.

Calls to raise Israel-Egypt treaty troop limits
AP By AMY TEIBEL - Associated Press | AP – AUG 29,11

JERUSALEM (AP) — A deadly attack on Israel from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula has sparked calls to raise the number of Egyptian troops allowed in the area under the historic peace treaty with Israel, to counter a surge in Islamist militant activity. But some in Israel, afraid the recent revolt in Egypt might lead to the collapse of the pact, are wary of altering it in any way.Israel says Palestinian militants crossed from Gaza into Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, made their way along the Israel-Egypt border, crossed back into Israel, attacked Israeli vehicles and killed eight people on Aug. 18.The assault underscored the increasingly lawless situation in Sinai, where weak policing and difficult terrain may be letting it turn into the latest focus of Islamic militant activity in the region. A new attack alert led to the deployment of additional Israeli troops along the border, the military said Monday.Israel's insistence that the peninsula be significantly demilitarized was a key aspect of the 1979 accord between Israel and Egypt. The stipulation, essential for reassuring Israel back then, reflected skepticism that Egypt would remain eternally friendly.

Today, however, this provision makes it difficult for Israel itself to demand the Egyptians do a better job of policing the vast desert triangle that separates Asia from Africa.Israel is sitting on a time bomb, said counterterrorism expert Boaz Ganor. The fact that the peace border between Israel and Sinai ... is no longer a peace frontier requires Israel to regroup. In the aftermath of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's fall earlier this year, Israel permitted Egypt to send in more troops than the 750 allowed under the treaty. Egyptian security officials said about 10,000 troops are already present in the 23,000 square mile (60,000 square kilometer) territory, and about 4,000 are posted along the Israeli border. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to brief reporters.
Calls are mounting for permitting far greater numbers — if not totally freeing Egypt from any need to get Israel's permission, which the Egyptian public had always considered an affront to its national pride and sovereignty. The matter generated discussion in the region over the weekend. In an interview with Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV, Arab League chief Nabil Elaraby, a former Egyptian foreign minister, said the treaty with Israel was not sacrosanct, and provisions could be revisited — including the limitations on troops. On Sunday, a senior Israeli official said Israel should consider revising the provisions of the peace treaty to allow Cairo to deploy more troops. Many Israelis are leery, though, fearful that the Muslim Brotherhood that inspired Gaza's Islamic militant Hamas rulers could gain influence in Egypt after an election later this year, and that the peace treaty with Egypt would ultimately fall apart.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seemed cool to the idea in comments attributed to him Sunday.I am against the idea of changing the peace treaty,a government official quoted Netanyahu as telling members of his ruling Likud Party. The prime minister also said if changes are proposed, he would bring them before a Cabinet body for approval.

The 1979 peace accord — the first between Israel and an Arab nation — is one of the few achievements of decades of Mideast peace efforts. As part of that deal, Israel returned the Sinai, captured from Egypt in the 1967 Mideast war. That was a major strategic gain for Egypt, not only undoing a humiliating territorial loss but also restoring to Egypt total command over the Suez Canal, allowing it to reopen for global shipping. In 1967, Egypt menacingly beefed up troops in the Sinai and used its control of the tip of the peninsula to close the Straits of Tiran, cutting off shipping to Israel from the south — and leading Israel to attack. In 1973, Egypt attacked, and the Sinai was the scene of bloody tank battles.Such scenarios seem a world away from the reality that has prevailed since the peace treaty. Israel has kept few troops along that border. There was almost no military on the other side, the peninsula is sparsely populated, and the frontier was quiet for decades. The bloody Aug. 18 attack shattered any sense of calm. The brazen attack on Israel and the deaths of several Egyptian police during the firefight strained relations between Israel and Egypt, prompting officials to examine security measures already being beefed up.Israel is speeding up construction of a fence along the 150-mile (230-kilometer) frontier, and Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Sunday it would be completed within a year or so. Additional visual and electronic intelligence-gathering devices have been put in place. The military has deployed hundreds more troops along the border, including elite forces, defense officials said.Critics say the cross-border attack should have come as no surprise. In recent years, tens of thousands of illegal African migrants have shown how easy it is to sneak into the country over the porous frontier with Egypt. Further evidence comes from the thriving weapons and goods-smuggling trade Palestinian militants have set up with Sinai Bedouin to dodge the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

The mountainous desert now harbors an array of militant groups, including Palestinian extremists and al-Qaida-inspired jihadists, Egyptian and Israeli security officials say.In recent years radical factions, some of them Palestinian, attacked popular Sinai beach resorts, killing more than 120 people between 2004 and 2006. In 2007 and 2008, Palestinian militants attacked Israel twice from Sinai. In 2009, Egyptian authorities said they had uncovered a conspiracy by Lebanon's Hezbollah guerrilla group to attack Sinai tourist sites.Since Mubarak's fall, and despite the infusion of more troops, militants have repeatedly attacked Egyptian police facilities and a natural gas pipeline that supplies Israel and Jordan. Islamic radicals who fled Egyptian prisons during the chaos surrounding the revolution sought asylum in Sinai, hooking up with radical groups that already had built strongholds there. All this places Israel in a very sensitive position regarding the Sinai, said Ely Karmon, senior research scholar at the Institute for Counter-Terrorism at the Interdisciplinary Center near Tel Aviv.On the one hand, Israel has to operate resolutely against terror groups and rocket fire. It also has to ... cooperate with Egypt to prevent Sinai from becoming a center of global terror, and terror against Israel,Karmon said.I hope the introduction of forces into Sinai won't become a security threat to Israel in the future. That is the risk Israel is taking.

Polish finance minister says Europe at risk of collapse Today AUG 29,11 @ 10:30 By Andrew Rettman

Polish finance minister Jacek Rostowski has said the EU could collapse if leading countries such as Germany mishandle the financial crisis.Rostowski: We have to be sure, that going into this house [the eurozone] it will be earthquake-proof (consilium.europa.eu)Speaking in Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza on Monday (29 August), the minister said: European elites, including German elites, must decide if they want the euro to survive - even at a high price - or not. If not, we should prepare for a controlled dismantling of the currency zone.He added: We have a simple choice: Solidarity or the collapse of Europe.Rostowski criticised the German elite after German President Christian Wulff last week said the European Central Bank (ECB) should not buy struggling Italian and Spanish bonds. The Polish minister said the ECB programme is an essential stop-gap measure until the EU crisis-fund, the EFSF, is given new powers to buy sovereign debt.He indicated that eurozone countries will have to pour more cash into the €440 billion EFSF to make it fit for purpose. We cannot allow markets to have a shadow of a doubt that the EFSF is not big enough to stabilise all the euro countries which need help, he said. With Italy's debt alone standing at almost €1.9 trillion, the EFSF should be very big he noted. The Polish minister said the long-term solution to the crisis is deeper integration. The fundamental problem of the eurozone is not an economic but a political one, he explained. The choice is: much deeper macroeconomic integration in the eurozone or its collapse. There is no third way.He attacked Finland for its egoism in seeking collateral for a new loan to crisis-struck Greece. He also diagnosed two forms of dangerous populism at work in EU politics - a southern populism based on financial irresponsibility and a northern one based on lack of solidarity with southern countries.Rostowski said Poland will not join the euro until it is sure the currency is earthquake proof.

But he added that wealthy northern countries as well as non-eurozone EU members will suffer if the euro falls. It's hard to imagine anything that would hit the Dutch, German or Finnish economy harder than the collapse of the banking system in any eurozone country,he said. The collapse of the eurozone would [also] be catastrophic for Poland.

IMF issues warning about European banks
Today AUG 29,11 @ 09:26 By Honor Mahony

The head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde on Sunday (28 August) called into question the health of European banks amid a stark warning about a global economic slowdown.Speaking to international bankers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Lagarde said the weakest EU lenders may need forced capital injections to stop the eurozone crisis spreading to other countries.Without urgent recapitalisation, we could easily see the further spread of economic weakness to core countries, or even a debilitating liquidity crisis, she said, according to Bloomberg. The most efficient solution would be mandatory substantial recapitalisation - seeking private resources first, but using public funds if necessary, she added, suggesting that the eurozone’s €440 billion rescue fund could be used for capital injections into the banks. Her comments - unusually strong for such a senior policymaker - risk further spooking investors, who already have concerns about the exposure of European banks to sovereign debt.Doubts about the health of European lenders have persisted despite high-profile stress tests, with the latest round of results on 90 banks published in mid July.Lagarde’s blunt assessment received immediate support from Angela Knight, the chief executive of the British Bankers’ Association.

I think she is right: some European banks should hold more capital as action is urgently required to stabilise the situation inside the eurozone. The IMF chief also issued a stark warning about a new global economic slowdown.Developments this summer have indicated we are in a dangerous new phase, she said. There remains a path to recovery, but we do not have the luxury of time.Speaking at the same conference, Jean-Claude Trichet, outgoing head of the European Central Bank, defended the 17-nation eurozone, noting that the US was also a regionally diverse economy under a single currency. He did admitted that decision-making in the single currency area could be improved, however. As a group, as an entity, we are challenged paradoxically not because our fundamentals are very bad. Our fundamentals are not very bad. The problem is that we are challenged in our governance.

STORMS HURRICANES-TORNADOES

LUKE 21:25-26
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;(MASS CONFUSION) the sea and the waves roaring;(FIERCE WINDS)
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

THE FIRST JUDGEMENT OF THE EARTH STARTED WITH WATER-IT ONLY MAKES SENSE THE LAST GENERATION WILL BE HAVING FLOODING
GENESIS 7:6-12
6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
GOD PROMISED BY A RAINBOW-THE EARTH WOULD NEVER BE DESTROYED TOTALLY WITH A FLOOD AGAIN.BUT FLOODIING IS A SIGN OF JUDGEMENT.

Tropical storm forms near Bermuda
Reuters By Tom Brown | Reuters – AUG 29,11

MIAMI (Reuters) - Tropical Storm Jose formed near Bermuda on Sunday, becoming the 10th named storm of the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season, U.S. forecasters said.At 2 p.m. EDT, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said Jose was 60 miles west of Bermuda and churning northward over the central Atlantic Ocean. It posed no threat to the U.S. coast or to energy interests in the Gulf of Mexico. The storm was packing top sustained winds of 40 mph and little change in strength was expected over the next 24 hours, the hurricane center said.It said stiff winds were buffeting Bermuda, where Jose was expected to dump up to 3 inches of rain. But the storm was forecast to lose strength on Monday before dissipating as it takes a projected north-northeast track further out to sea.Jose formed near the British territory on Sunday morning as Hurricane Irene, the first hurricane of the 2011 Atlantic season, hit New York after swirling up the U.S. East Coast from North Carolina, where it made landfall on Saturday.Irene has since been downgraded to a tropical storm.Weather watchers were also keeping an eye on Sunday on a cluster of showers and thunderstorms associated with a tropical wave south of Cape Verde off West Africa. In an updated forecast on Sunday afternoon, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center said the system had a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone within 48 hours. If the system becomes a tropical storm it will be named Katia.(Reporting by Tom Brown; Editing by Xavier Briand)

NYC's subway back on track for commute after Irene
AP By KAREN MATTHEWS, Associated Press – AUG 29,11

NEW YORK – New York City subways resumed service Monday after Tropical Storm Irene forced an unprecedented closure of the nation's largest mass transit system. Trains and buses in and around the metropolitan area faced their first major test as millions of commuters ventured to work for the first time since the storm hit.The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced that limited service had resumed at 5:40 a.m. across the area. Metro-North Railroad, which serves the city's northern suburbs, remained closed because of flooding and other storm-related damage. New Jersey Transit trains were also suspended.MTA spokesman Charles Seaton said subways were running smoothly, if a little more slowly than usual at first. He said commuters should expect a bit more crowding but otherwise service was normal.Riders who had expected a difficult time getting to work said they were relieved. The subway is running very well. I can't believe it, they did a great job, said Dominic Cecala, who took an E train from the city's west side to lower Manhattan. If they hadn't stopped the trains on Saturday, it would have been a mess.New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the MTA announced late Sunday that the subways would reopen in time for the next day's early morning rush hour. They cautioned that service might be less frequent than normal and customers should expect more crowded trains. The MTA's decision Saturday to halt all subways, buses and commuter trains in preparation for the storm — the first time a natural disaster ever closed the system down — had threatened to disrupt the start of the work week in the nation's most populous metropolitan area.

Long Island Rail Road was dealing with storm-related service disruptions. Five of LIRR's 11 lines were suspended and the others were experiencing delays of up to an hour.PATH trains in and out of the city from New Jersey were operating on a normal schedule. Greg Kurilli, an electrician who works in lower Manhattan, arrived at the World Trade Center PATH station from Jersey City on time.I hope I won't be working anywhere near the water,he said.Ferries to and from Staten Island were running well. Joe Dinguis, a 56-year old career counselor, expected problems getting from his home in Staten Island to his job in Brooklyn. But as he disembarked from the ferry in lower Manhattan, he said his trip had gone smoothly so far.Everything's fine today, including the Staten Island Railway, he said.At New York's Penn Station, commuters hoping to take New Jersey transit were surprised to learn it was still shut down.I got here and it was closed. I've got to call my boss, said Rosa Carrasquillo of Perth Amboy, N.J. I was shocked, I don't know what happened. I really need to get to work today. The center of Irene passed over Central Park at midmorning Sunday packing 65 mph winds, but damage to New York City was less than feared. An evacuation order for low-lying city neighborhoods was lifted Sunday afternoon. By Sunday night, limited bus service started up.With a daily ridership of more than 5 million, New York City's subway system is by far the nation's largest. Many New Yorkers do not have cars and would be hard-pressed to get around without the subway. The MTA's Seaton said the agency had done simulated runs throughout the subway system all night in order to be ready for Monday's commute.Suspending service allowed the MTA to secure equipment, thus expediting the return to service,Cuomo said in a statement.Online: http://www.mta.info Associated Press writers Karen Zraick and Verena Dobnik contributed to this report.

Irene spares big cities, but Vt. sees huge floods
AP By DAVE GRAM, Associated Press – AUG 29,11

MONTPELIER, Vt. – The storm that had been Hurricane Irene crossed into Canada overnight but wasn't yet through with the U.S., where flood waters threatened Vermont towns and big city commuters had to make do with slowly reawakening transit systems. The storm left millions without power across much of the Eastern Seaboard, killed at least two dozen and forced airlines to cancel about 9,000 flights. It never became the big-city nightmare forecasters and public officials had warned about, but it caused the worst flooding in a century in Vermont. Many of the worst effects arose from rains that fell inland, not the highly anticipated storm surge along the coasts. Residents of Pennsylvania and New Jersey nervously watched waters rise as hours' worth of rain funneled into rivers and creeks. Normally narrow ribbons of water turned into raging torrents in Vermont and upstate New York late Sunday, tumbling with tree limbs, cars and parts of bridges. This is not over, President Barack Obama said from the Rose Garden.Hundreds of Vermonters were told to leave their homes after Irene dumped several inches of rain on the landlocked state. Gov. Peter Shumlin called it the worst flooding in a century, and the state was declared a federal disaster area.We prepared for the worst and we got the worst in central and southern Vermont, Shumlin said Monday. We have extraordinary infrastructure damage, including communities that were cut off, hundreds of roads closures and the loss of at least three historic covered bridges.Video posted on Facebook showed a 141-year-old covered bridge in Rockingham, Vt., swept away by the roiling, muddy Williams River. In another video, an empty car somersaulted down a river in Bennington. It's pretty fierce. I've never seen anything like it, said Michelle Guevin, who spoke from a Brattleboro restaurant after leaving her home in nearby Newfane. She said the fast-moving Rock River was washing out the road to her house.

Officials at one point thought they might have to flood the state capital, Montpelier, to relieve pressure on a dam. But by Monday morning that threat had abated.Nearly 5 million homes and businesses lost power at some point during the storm. Lights started to come back on for many on Sunday, though it was expected to take days for electricity to be fully restored.Only about 50,000 power customers in New York City went dark, but people there had something else to worry about: getting to work Monday. The metropolitan area's transit system, shut down because of weather for the first time in its history, was taking many hours to get back on line. Limited bus service began Sunday and New York subway service was partially restored at 6 a.m. Monday.Commuter rail service to Long Island and New Jersey was being partially restored, but the Metro-North Railroad to Westchester County and Connecticut was suspended because of flooding and mudslides.Riders were warned to expect long lines and long waits, but early commuters reported empty subways and smooth rides.Mentor Vargas, 54, said he made his 40-minute trip on the J train without incident. It seems people aren't going to work today,he said on his way to work at a repair company in Queens.Likewise, Philadelphia's transit system was mostly restarted Monday, though some train lines weren't running because of downed trees and wire damage.Airports in New York and around the Northeast reopened to a backlog of hundreds of thousands of passengers whose flights were canceled over the weekend. Some of New York's yellow cabs were up to their wheel wells in water, and water rushed over a marina near the New York Mercantile Exchange, where gold and oil are traded. But the New York flooding was not extensive from Irene, whose eye passed over Coney Island and Central Park. The New York Stock Exchange was opening for business on Monday, and the Sept. 11 memorial at the World Trade Center site didn't lose a single tree.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg defended his decision to order 370,000 residents to evacuate their homes in low-lying areas, saying it was impossible to know just how powerful the storm would be.We were just unwilling to risk the life of a single New Yorker, he said.Irene had at one time been a major hurricane, with winds higher than 110 mph as it headed toward the U.S. It was a tropical storm with 65 mph winds by the time it hit New York. It lost the characteristics of a tropical storm and had slowed to 50 mph by the time it reached Canada.Chris Fogarty, director of the Canadian Hurricane Centre, warned of flooding and wind damage in eastern Canada and said the heaviest rainfall was expected in Quebec, where about 250,000 homes were without power. At least 25 people died in the U.S., most of them when trees crashed through roofs or onto cars. One Vermont woman was swept away and feared drowned in the Deerfield River.Officials worked to repair hundreds of damaged roads, and power companies picked through uprooted trees and reconnected lines. One private estimate put damage along the coast at $7 billion, far from any record for a natural disaster.

Twenty homes on Long Island Sound in Connecticut were destroyed by churning surf. The torrential rain chased hundreds of people in upstate New York from their homes and closed 137 miles of the state's main highway.Authorities in and around Easton, Pa., kept a close eye on the rising Delaware River. The National Weather Service forecast the river to crest there at more than 27 feet, about 5 feet above flood stage. In the South, authorities still were not sure how much damage had been done but expressed relief that it wasn't worse.Thank God it weakened a little bit, said Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, who toured a hard-hit Richmond neighborhood where large, old-growth trees uprooted and crushed houses and automobiles. In Norfolk, Va., where storm surges got within inches of breaking a record, most of the water had receded by Sunday. There was isolated flooding and downed trees, but nowhere near the damage officials predicted. We can't believe a hurricane came through here, city spokeswoman Lori Crouch said.In North Carolina, where six people were killed, the infrastructure losses included the only road to the seven villages on Hatteras Island.Overall, the destruction is not as severe as I was worried it might be, but there is still lots and lots of destruction and people's lives are turned upside down,Gov. Beverly Perdue said in Kill Devil Hills. In an early estimate, consulting firm Kinetic Analysis Corp. figured total losses from the storm at $7 billion, with insured losses of $2 billion to $3 billion. The storm will take a bite out of Labor Day tourist business from the Outer Banks to the Jersey Shore to Cape Cod.Irene was the first hurricane to make landfall in the continental United States since 2008, and came almost six years to the day after Katrina ravaged New Orleans on Aug. 29, 2005.Contributing to this report were Associated Press writers Samantha Gross, Beth Fouhy, Samantha Bomkamp, Verena Dobnik, Jonathan Fahey, Tom Hays, Colleen Long and Larry Neumeister in New York; Brock Vergakis in Virginia Beach, Va.; Marc Levy in Chester, Pa. and Jeff McMillan in Philadelphia; and Seth Borenstein and Christopher S. Typhoon floods homes in Taiwan, heads for China
AP By DEBBY WU, Associated Press – AUG 29,11

TAIPEI, Taiwan – A typhoon that flooded homes, roads and farmland in Taiwan with more than 20 inches (half a meter) of rain left the island Monday and headed to southeastern China.Typhoon Nanmadol stayed over Taiwan for only a few hours and was weaker than when it pummeled the Philippines, where at least 16 people died and another eight were missing. One death in Taiwan was attributed to the storm — a motorcyclist hit by debris — and disruption to everyday life was extensive. Some 30,000 households in southern and eastern Taiwan lost power, 8,000 people were evacuated and scores of roads and bridges were closed due to the heavy rain. Offices and schools were closed in the southeast as well as in the capital, Taipei, which escaped the brunt of the storm. In a southwestern county, civil defense crews used small boats to rescue people from communities inundated by flash flooding. Dozens of homes were flooded. CTI cable news station footage showed the aftermath of landslides in Pingtung township and several homes partially submerged by water.

Pingtung is just to the south of the mountainous regions where more than 500 people died two years ago in mudslides spawned by torrential rains associated with Typhoon Morakot, the most devastating storm to hit the island in half a century.A slow government response to that catastrophe prompted a fusillade of criticism aimed at President Ma Ying-jeou, who is up for re-election this January. After Morakot, Ma said he was reorienting the major mission of the island's armed forces toward disaster relief and away from defending against a possible Chinese invasion — the two sides split amid civil war in 1949.The change was evident over the weekend, as the military dispatched troops and rescue equipment to vulnerable areas, unlike during Morakot. The typhoon, slow-moving with an enormous cloud band, drenched the northern Philippines for days before pummeling it with fierce winds. Landslides, flooding and collapsed walls caused many of the casualties, officials there said.

3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW) and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,(GOD FORCES THE RUSSIA-MUSLIMS TO MARCH) and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

Analysis: Qaddafi Exits, Al Qaeda Enters-Libya has followed Egypt’s lead, replacing a corrupt despot with a council influenced by Al Qaeda – instead of the Muslim Brotherhoodby Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu Published: 29/08/11, 5:24 PM

Libya so far follows Egypt’s lead, replacing a dictatorial and corrupt despot with a council that is no less corrupt and against freedom and which is influenced by Al Qaeda – instead of the Muslim Brotherhood.A senior rebel in Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) is none other than Abdel Hakim Belhadj, who once fought with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Also known as Abu Abdullah al-Sadeq, optimists are hoping he has reformed from being a jihad terrorist. Reuters quoted Noman Benotman, a former commander of an anti-Qaddafi group that included Belhadj, as saying, He has more of a political mindset than a religious mindset. He always managed to keep a distance between bin Laden and our struggle.Contrary to Bentoman’s views, Pepe Escobar wrote for Asian Times Online , He’s already made sure in Libya that himself and his militia will only settle for sharia law.Pepe is the author of Globalistan: How the Globalized World is Dissolving into Liquid War and other books. His links with Al Qaeda are deep. He was the de facto leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), which trained in Afghanistan in two camps, one of them being for Al Qaeda terrorists, according to Pepe. The LIFG was merged with the AIQM Al Qaeda group in 2007, when the Libyan group called for jihad against Western infidels as well as against Qaddafi. The CIA is believed to have captured Belhadj in 2003 and released him to Libya in 2004, when he was imprisoned by Qaddafi until he was freed last March.Pepe reported reported that Belhadj’s men were the key force that conquered Qaddafi’s compound in Tripoli. The rebel victory over Qaddafi has left huge amounts of weapons and ammunition in the hands of both the NTC and allied jihadists.Western media are being fed portrayals of the rebel leadership as a coherent and responsible political and military force holding sway from Benghazi in the east up to the Tunisian border in the west, according to DEBKAfile. It added, This depiction is false. Our military sources report that the bulk of rebel military strength in central and western Libya is not under NTC command, nor does it obey orders from rebel headquarters in Benghazi.

Pepe asserted that all of the top rebel commanders are from the LIFG, and it doesn't require a crystal ball to picture the consequences of LIFG/AQIM - having conquered military power and being among the war winners - not remotely interested in relinquishing control just to please NATO's whims. There are enough Qaddafi loyalists to keep on fighting for weeks, or months, leaving the possibility of a weakened NTC and a hesitant NATO targeted by Belhadj’s organization. The result could give Al Qaeda a strong political influence in the next Libyan government, just as the Muslim Brotherhood – which spawned Hamas – has a strong voice in the Egyptian provisional military regime that replaced Hosni Mubarak.

Last throes of Libya war focus on Sirte
Reuters By Maria Golovnina and Mohammed Abbas | Reuters – AUG 29,11

TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Libyan rebel forces were converging on Muammar Gaddafi's hometown of Sirte on Monday, hoping to deliver the coup de grace of their revolution but uncertain if the fallen strongman was holed up there. The fugitive Gaddafi's exact whereabouts where still not known and it was possible he was still in hiding in Tripoli, five days after it fell to rebel forces and his 42-year-old reign collapsed.NATO war planes struck at Sirte, on the Mediterranean coast, for a third day on Sunday, a spokesman for the multi-national alliance said in Brussels. We're paying close attention to what's happening in Sirte because we know that there are remnants of the regime that are there, the spokesman said.On the ground, rebel forces also closed in and said they would seize Sirte by force if negotiations for its surrender failed.Gaddafi was born near Sirte, 450 km (300 miles) east of Tripoli, in 1942 and after he seized power in 1969 he built it up from a sleepy fishing village into an important city and power center of 100,000 people. He still retains support and sympathy there, so whether or not he has chosen to retreat to the city to make a last stand, its capture will still be strategically and symbolically important to the rebels as they consolidate their victory. One rebel commander said his forces were within 100 km (60 miles) of Sirte from the east and others were advancing from the west.On the coastal highway east of Tripoli, tank transporters were carrying Soviet-designed T-55 tanks in the direction of Sirte. Rebels said the tanks were seized from an abandoned military base in Zlitan.

SKIRMISHES

Jamal Tunally, a rebel military commander in Misrata, told Reuters: The front line is 30 km from Sirte. We think the Sirte situation will be resolved peacefully, God willing. Now we just need to find Gaddafi. I think he is still hiding underneath Bab al-Aziziyah like a rat, said Tunally, referring to Gaddafi's compound in Tripoli which rebels overran on Tuesday. In the east, rebel fighters pushed 7 km (4 miles) past the village of Bin Jawad and secured the Nawfaliyah junction, a rebel spokesman said. We're going slowly, spokesman Mohammad Zawawi told Reuters. We want to give more time for negotiations, to give a chance for those people trying to persuade the people inside Sirte to surrender and open their city.In Tripoli, the rebel leadership sought to establish control after days of confusion and sporadic skirmishing with the remnants of Gaddafi's forces. Several explosions and intermittent gunfire were heard overnight Sunday. The stench of rotting bodies and burning garbage still hung over the city and food, water and other supplies were running short, indications that despite the euphoria of victory, plenty of challenges lay ahead.Gaddafi, 69, is on the run and the fear among his foes is that he intends to lead an insurgency against them. NTC officials rejected any idea of talks with him, saying he was a criminal who must be brought to justice. We did not negotiate when we were weak, and we won't negotiate now that we have liberated all of Libya,NTC information minister Mahmoud Shammam told a news conference.

The Associated Press earlier quoted Gaddafi's spokesman, Moussa Ibrahim, as saying Gaddafi was still in Libya and wanted to discuss forming a transitional government with the NTC.NTC officials say Gaddafi, his son Saif al-Islam and his spy chief should be tried in Libya, although they are wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. The NTC and its Western backers are acutely aware of the need to prevent Libya collapsing into the kind of chaos that plagued Iraq for years after the U.S.-led invasion of 2003.The de facto government, whose leaders plan to move to Tripoli from Benghazi this week, is trying to impose security, restore basic services and revive the energy--based economy. But in the aftermath of victory, many corpses have been found, some of slain Gaddafi soldiers, others the victims of killings in cold blood.A Libyan official said 75 bodies had been found at the Abu Salim hospital, which was caught up in heavy fighting, and another 35 corpses were found at the Yurmuk hospital. The possibility that rebel fighters executed captured Gaddafi soldiers would pose an image problem for the NTC.Rebel military spokesman Colonel Ahmed Bani said there was concern for the fate of 40,000 prisoners who he said had been detained by Gaddafi's forces and who were still unaccounted for. It was possible some were being held in underground bunkers in Tripoli that rebels had been unable to locate.

GOOD OMENS

In good omens for economic recovery, officials said a vital gas export pipeline to Europe had been repaired and Libya's biggest refinery had survived the war intact.
In the west, Tunisian authorities reopened the main border crossing into Libya, restoring a supply route for Tripoli, after Gaddafi forces were driven out on Friday.
That should help relieve a looming humanitarian crisis in the city, where food, drinking water and medicines are scarce.Trucks loaded with food and other goods were already moving across the Ras Jdir crossing toward Tripoli, about two hours' drive away.Tripoli residents queued for bread or scoured grocery shops for food. Many took a stoical view of their plight. This is a tax we pay for our freedom, said Sanusi Idhan, a layer waiting to buy food. The NTC issued messages urging electricity workers to get back to work and efforts to pay the salaries of public sector workers were underway.(Additional reporting by Samia Nakhoul in Tripoli, Robert Birsel, Alex Dziadosz and Emma Farge in Benghazi; Writing by Angus MacSwan)

Syrian forces storm northern town, fight defectors: residents Reuters By Khaled Yacoub Oweis | Reuters – AUG 29,11

AMMAN (Reuters) - Syrian forces stormed a town on the main road leading to Turkey Sunday after troops loyal to President Bashar al-Assad fought a night-time battle in Damascus with army defectors who had refused to shoot at a pro-democracy protest.
Six months into a popular uprising, Assad is under pressure from street protests and from Arab foreign ministers who told Syria Sunday to work to end bloodshed before it is too late. The Arab League decided to send its secretary-general to Damascus to push for reforms, while the president of neighboring Turkey said he had lost confidence in Syria].Residents of Khan Sheikhoun, on the main road 245 km (155 miles) north of Damascus, said two people had been killed in an army assault on their town. Two local activists, Tareq al-Nisr and Musaab Taha, were wounded, another activist said.It was an assassination attempt. The security police and shabbiha (militiamen) are beginning to use targeted assassinations and arresting people in larger numbers, said the activist, who gave his name as Abu Wael.In Damascus, dozens of soldiers defected and fled into al-Ghouta, an area of farmland, after pro-Assad forces fired at a large crowd of demonstrators near the suburb of Harasta to prevent them from marching on the center, residents said. The army has been firing heavy machineguns throughout the night at al-Ghouta and they were being met with response from smaller rifles,a resident of Harasta told Reuters by phone.A statement published on the Internet by the Free Officers, a group that says it represents defectors, said large defections occurred in Harasta and security forces and shabbiha loyal to Assad were chasing the defectors. It was the first reported defection around the capital, where Assad's core forces are based.

OFFICIAL DENIAL

Syrian authorities have repeatedly denied any army defections have been taking place. They have expelled independent media since the uprising against Assad, from Syria's minority Alawite sect, erupted in March.Activists have been reporting increasing defections among the rank-and-file army, mostly drawn from Syria's Sunni majority but dominated by an Alawite officer core effectively under the command of Assad's brother Maher. In the town of Hirak in the southern Hauran Plain, a crowd shouted, Oppressor, your reign will finish. Prepare yourself for execution, according to footage distributed by residents. In the eastern town of Albu Kamal on the border with Iraq's Sunni heartland, which has been besieged by tanks for weeks after large protests, an activist said security police snipers killed two protesters when they fired at a crowd who tried to demonstrate at the main square after nightly Ramadan prayers.A crowd streamed out from the grand mosque when they were met by bullets fired by security police snipers. Three protesters were also wounded,he said.

The United Nations says 2,200 people have been killed since Assad sent in tanks and troops to crush months of street demonstrations calling for an end to his family's 41-year rule.Syrian authorities have blamed armed terrorist groups for the bloodshed across Syria and say 500 police and army have been killed.

ASSAULT ON CLERIC

The latest demonstrations in Damascus were triggered in part by an attack Saturday by Assad's forces on a popular cleric, Osama al-Rifai. He was treated with several stitches to his head after they stormed al-Rifai mosque complex in the Kfar Sousa district of the capital, home to the secret police headquarters, to prevent a protest from coming out of the mosque.Protesters have been buoyed by increasing international condemnation of Assad's crackdown. President Abdullah Gul of Turkey, a former ally, said the situation had reached a point where changes would be too little too late, Turkish state-run news agency Anatolian reported.Gul told Anatolian in an interview:We are really very sad. Incidents are said to be finished and then another 17 people are dead. How many will it be today? Clearly we have reached a point where anything would be too little too late. We have lost our confidence. In Cairo, the Arab League said in a statement after an extraordinary meeting that it was concerned over the dangerous developments on the Syrian arena that had caused thousands of casualties and stresses the importance of ending bloodshed and to resort to reason before it is too late.It was the first official Arab League meeting on Syria since the start of the uprising, inspired by revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt that sparked unrest across the Middle East and North Africa. The foreign ministers said Syria's stability was crucial for the Arab world and the whole region.

Assad's closest ally, Shi'ite Iran, with which he has been strengthening ties to the disquiet of Syria's Sunni majority, has said Damascus must listen to the legitimate demands of its people.Iran warned NATO Sunday against any temptation to intervene in Syria, saying that rather than the defeating a regime it would be bogged down in a quagmire similar to Iraq or Afghanistan.(Additional reporting by Sami Aboudi in Cairo, Suleiman al-Khalidi and Mariam Karouny; Editing by Rosalind Russell)

EARTH WORSHIP

DEUTERONOMY 17:3-4
3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

2 KINGS 23:5
5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

EARTH DESTROYED WITH THE EARTH(BECAUSE OF SIN AND GODLESS PEOPLE)

GENESIS 6:11-13
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.(WORLD TERRORISM,MURDERS)(HAMAS IN HEBREW IS VIOLENCE)
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence (TERRORISM)(HAMAS) through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

HOSEA 4:1-3
1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Al Gore Plays The Race Card, But He’s The Real Racist-Soaring food prices caused by ethanol production – funded by Gore – are killing poor black people Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com Monday, August 29, 2011

Al Gore is now so desperate to win the conversation, or in other words silence the dissent’ surrounding global warming that he is now equating those who question ManBearPig with racists who supported spraying black people with water cannons.Of course, the delicious irony is the fact that the promotion of man-made global warming and the development of biofuels is killing predominantly black people in third world countries as a result of soaring food prices.I remember, again going back to my early years in the South, when the Civil Rights revolution was unfolding, there were two things that really made an impression on me,Gore told Climate Reality Project collaborator Alex Bogusky. My generation watched Bull Connor turning the hose on civil rights demonstrators and we went, Whoa! How gross and evil is that? My generation asked old people, Explain to me again why it is okay to discriminate against people because their skin color is different? And when they couldn’t really answer that question with integrity, the change really started.Gore then went on to talk about how to win the conversation on global warming, by comparing skeptics with racists, adding It is important to get that out there, absolutely.Gore wants to make man-made climate change skepticism a thought crime on a par with uttering racist obscenities, once again revealing the hardcore authoritarian tendencies that cloud the entire global warming movement.Since the skeptics are clearly winning the conversation, with polls showing a decreasing belief in climate change alarmism, merely insinuating skeptics are akin to holocaust deniers by labeling them climate deniers is no longer sufficient for the likes of Gore.In reality, if you want to point the finger at anyone for encouraging racism, it’s overwhelmingly the global warming alarmists themselves.

Climate change alarmism and implementation of global warming policies is a crime of the highest nature, because it is already having a genocidal impact in countries like Haiti, where the doubling of food prices is resulting in a substantial increase in starvation, poverty and death. As a National Geographic Report confirmed,With food prices rising, Haiti’s poorest can’t afford even a daily plate of rice, and some must take desperate measures to fill their bellies,by eating mud, partly as a consequence of increasing global demand for biofuels. In April 2008, World Bank President Robert Zoellick admitted that biofuels were a significant contributor to soaring food prices that have led to poor people dying from starvation as a result of biofuels dominating land that would normally be used to harvest food.Even man-made global warming advocate George Monbiot admits that promotion of biofuels is causing starvation in the poor world, particularly in Swaziland, where the decision to allocate several thousand hectares of farmland to ethanol production despite the country being in the grip of a famine was labeled a crime against humanity by Jean Ziegler, the UN’s special rapporteur. Not only are biofuels starving millions of people, they are also leading to environmental destruction, by accelerating the growth of dangerous chemicals and pesticides.Gore was an enthusiastic supporter of biofuel projects even as it became clear they were exacerbating the starvation of millions of predominantly black people in the third world, and yet he has the temerity to label critics of such practices as racist. Part of Gore’s $638 million Generation Investment Management funding was ploughed into the production of biofuels, before Gore himself was forced to admit he was wrong to push biofuels years later, after they had helped kill millions of poor black people.

But it’s not just biofuels, a product of global warming alarmism, that are unleashing a genocide against black people in poorer countries, it’s the whole anti-development mantra embraced by climate change activists that is being enforced by supranational organizations like the World Bank and the IMF in the name of reducing carbon dioxide, the evil life-giving gas that plants breathe and humans exhale.Indeed, poorer countries rejected the 2009 Copenhagen climate agreement precisely because it discriminated against third world nations. In the leaked Copenhagen text that emerged during the conference, leaders of third world countries were horrified to discover that developed nations would take on less of a burden than anticipated and that more would be demanded of poorer countries despite the fact that any further cuts in CO2 emissions would further cripple their flimsy economies and poverty-stricken people. In addition, the leaked paper revealed that funds from climate financing, originally allocated to go to the UN and then be doled out piecemeal to third world nations, would instead be paid directly into the coffers of the World Bank and IMF, organizations that have made a habit out of looting poorer countries with crippling loans that cannot be paid back, forcing such countries to hand over their entire infrastructure to globalist loan sharks. In addition, the Obama administration, firmly supported by Al Gore, last year ordered the World Bank to keep developing countries underdeveloped by blocking them from building coal-fired power plants, ensuring that poorer countries remain in poverty as a result of energy demands not being met.By preventing poor nations from becoming self-sufficient in blocking them from producing their own energy, the Obama administration is ensuring that millions more will die from starvation and lack of access to hospitals and medical treatment.

Not only does strangling the energy supply to poorer countries prevent adequate food distribution and lead to more starvation, but hospitals and health clinics in the third world are barely even able to operate as a result of the World Bank and other global bodies ordering them to be dependent on renewable energy supplies that are totally insufficient.A prime example appeared in the documentary The Great Global Warming Swindle, which highlighted how a Kenyan health clinic could not operate a medical refrigerator as well as the lights at the same time because the facility was restricted to just two solar panels. There’s somebody keen to kill the African dream. And the African dream is to develop, said author and economist James Shikwati. I don’t see how a solar panel is going to power a steel industry … We are being told, Don’t touch your resources. Don’t touch your oil. Don’t touch your coal. That is suicide. The program labels the idea of restricting the world’s poorest people to alternative energy sources as the most morally repugnant aspect of the global warming campaign.Holding back poor countries and preventing them from developing their infrastructure in the name of reducing CO2 emissions is worsening poverty exponentially. This is the ultimate form of racism – economic terrorism against poor black people – and it’s fully embraced by Al Gore as part of his global warming creed.Listen to Al Gore’s comments below.
