11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Mumbai commuters wade knee-deep as monsoon rains lash city Tue Jul 4, 12:17 PM ET

MUMBAI (AFP) - Commuters in India's financial hub Mumbai have waded knee-deep through water to reach their offices as torrential monsoon rains disrupted rail and air links and forced schools to close. Municipal workers used shovels to clear clogged drains in the western city of 18 million people which has been pounded by heavy wind and rain since late Saturday.More than 40 domestic flights were cancelled and another 10 had to be diverted to other destinations,a government official said in New Delhi.Mumbai airport director R. J. Treasurywala said the facility had not suffered damage despite the bad weather and was still usable.

Due to rains there are delays, but there is no water-logging on the runway. Flights can land and take off from this airport, he said.Mumbai was swamped by 35.9 centimeters (14 inches) of rain on Tuesday alone, the weather bureau said, forecasting more heavy rainfall until at least the following day.

The rains have showed no signs of stopping, but our staff are working round-the-clock to lessen water-logging along the main water drains, city official Johny Joseph said. The finance industry was also hit by low attendance in banks, clearing institutions and stock exchanges in Mumbai, India's economic hub.The BSE, or Bombay Stock Exchange, clocked its lowest trading volumes this year of 20.56 billion rupees (446 million dollars). It's tough going. I saw knee-deep waters at my home in south-central Mumbai, said architect Neha Sharma, 27. This is the highest (water level) I've seen for years.Marginal power disruption was reported in some suburbs after India's main energy company, Reliance Energy, shut down three power stations as a precautionary measure.

High tide and constant rains were concerns. But now we've deployed 85 large pumps across low-lying areas to help reduce waterlogging, said chief state secretary D.K. Shankaran. We will take the help of NGOs, other emergency services and locals for round-the-clock relief operations, he said. The government said schools and colleges would remain closed Wednesday.

Despite the downpours, police have only reported four deaths from weather-related accidents in Mumbai so far.Two people died from short-circuits on Tuesday while two homeless people died late Monday in a Mumbai suburb after being crushed by a tree knocked down by gusting winds. The deaths brought to at least 229 the number of people to have died across the country as a result of the rains and high winds since the start of the monsoon last month. The rains, which advance across the country from the southern tip, have stirred memories in Mumbai of last July when more than 400 people were killed by flash floods in the city.

Minor quake hits Beijing, no injuries Tue Jul 4, 6:51 AM ET

BEIJING (Reuters) - A minor earthquake shook the Chinese capital on Tuesday but there were no reports of damage or casualties and the state news agency urged residents to ignore rumors of further tremors hitting the city. China's seismological bureau said the epicenter of the quake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, was in Wenan county, Hebei province, 120 km (72 miles) south of Beijing. Office workers and commuters on Beijing's elevated expressways felt shaking but traffic continued to flow smoothly. Xinhua news agency said some office workers had fled their buildings to the street. The air-conditioner outside my window shook rapidly -- I didn't know what was happening, Sun Wenhao told Reuters from his 10th-floor office in downtown Tianjin, 90 km northeast of Wenan.

Government officials in Wenan said they had not received any reports of damage or casualties from the quake, which struck at 11:56 a.m. (0356 GMT).In the capital, radio quoted the government as saying the city did not expect any devastating earthquakes in coming days and asked citizens to stay calm.Xinhua quoted experts as saying the city was well geared to cope with a strong quake and that people should not listen to rumors of predictions of further tremors which have spread by text message and on the Internet.

China is hit by frequent earthquakes, with most hitting remote rural areas, but this month marks the 30th anniversary of a quake that killed at least 270,000 in Tangshan, east of Beijing.

DANIEL 11:44
44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

REVELATION 16:12

N. Korea Test-Fires Several Missiles
By Yonhapnews,{ 2006-07-05 09:48 ]

SEOUL, July 5 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean government confirmed Wednesday that North Korea test-fired several missiles, possibly including one long-range missile called the Taepodong-2, but said it was still trying to confirm details on the missiles.
President Roh Moo-hyun was briefed on the missile launches and he immediately called an emergency meeting of security-related ministers, Roh's aides said. The presidential office Cheong Wa Dae was about to announce its position on the issue.U.S. officials said their spy satellites detected five North Korean missile launches, adding that one missile, presumed to be a long-range Taepodong-2, failed within a minute after blast-off.South Korea's military intelligence said North Korea appeared to have fired more missiles.

North Korea fired a total of 10 missiles this morning, a military intelligence official said on condition of anonymity. The missiles include Scuds, Rodongs and Taepodongs. The United States was holding urgent consultations with other U.N. Security Council members after the launches, which came in defiance of strong warnings by the U.S. and Japan.Washington said it plans to send its top nuclear negotiator to Asia to discuss countermeasures.Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill, the U.S. envoy to six-way talks on Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program, will travel to Asia as early Thursday, State Department spokesman Sean
McCormack said. The nuclear talks also involve South Korea, China, Russia and Japan. We are going to be consulting on diplomatic next steps. We are going to do that in capitals and up at the U.N. as well,he said. North Korea has not officially announced the launches.

We diplomats do not know what the (North Korean) military is doing, Han Song-ryol, deputy chief of the North's mission to the United Nations, was quoted as saying in a telephone interview with the Associated Press.Earlier, Japanese media reported that
North Korea test-fired at least three missiles early Wednesday morning that landed off the western coast of Japan.Pyongyang's move followed weeks of reports that it is preparing to launch a long-range Taepodong-2 that is believed to be capable of reaching the western U.S.The U.S. and Japan had warned that North Korea would face stern measures if it fired a missile in breach of its self-declared moratorium on missile testing in 1999.

Wednesday's missile test comes amid prolonged tensions over the North's nuclear weapons program, and it is likely to further complicate international efforts to resume the related six-party talks, as well as deal a blow to the burgeoning rapprochement between the two Koreas.North Korea declared last year that it succeeded in developing nuclear weapons. In Tokyo, a top Japanese official condemned the North's activity. It is regrettable, and we protest strongly against North Korea for going ahead with a launch despite warnings from relevant countries, including Japan, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe said.

Asteroid has near-collision with Earth: scientists ,AFP
Monday, July 03, 2006 22:19 IST

WASHINGTON: An asteroid hurtling through space came within a hair's breadth -- in astronomical terms, at least -- of crashing into the Earth early Monday, US scientists said.Apollo Asteroid 2004 XP14 was discovered by Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, Massachusetts, a research facility which part of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and which claims the title of the world's principal detector of asteroids said Roger Sudbury, a spokesman for the lab.We were the discoverer said Sudbury of the Apollo Asteroid 2004 XP14, which passed some 268,873 miles (432,000 kilometers) from the Earth at 0425 GMT.The distance between the two bodies was slightly greater than that between the Earth and the moon -- a close shave in the vastness of outer space.

Sudbury said the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Minor Planet Center, which is affiliated with the Lincoln Lab, had classified the body as a potentially hazardous asteroid, because of its proximity to Earth and, if it hit, could have caused significant impact.

Most of them that we discover are in the main asteroid belt, which is between Mars and Jupiter, Sudbury said. Most would just burn up upon reentry into the atmosphere, he said. "Some of them will have trajectories that will at some point come into the Earth's orbit. The question, of course, he continued, is, where the Earth as the asteroid goes by?

Sudbury said The Minor Planet Center has established criteria in terms of size and other factors to alert scientists and lay observers whether an asteroid could actually penetrate the Earth's atmosphere and do significant damage. In the case of Monday's asteroid, he said, scientists were able to reassure the public that there was never any great risk, but that it would stray off course and crash into the Earth. The spokesman said that near-Earth asteroids were once believed to be a rarity, but recent scientific and technological advances have allowed researchers to track asteroids that previously escaped detection. In a few years we've detected more than have ever been discovered in history, Sudbury said.

Putin is right and he will be the Leader of it.The march against Christians and Jews or who ever the leader of Eussia is when the 1ST WAVE of WW3 starts.

EZEKIEL 38:1-12
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog,(LEADER OF) the land of Magog,(RUSSIA) the chief prince of Meshech(MOSCOW) and Tubal,(TUBOLSK) and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:(RUSSIA)
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia,(IRAN,IRAQ) Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer,(GERMANY) and all his bands; the house of Togarmah(TURKEY,SUDAN,AFRICA) of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.(MUSLIM COUNTRIES)
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

MORE MUSLIM COUNTRIES ARE WITH RUSSIA (EGYPT THE LEADER OF THE MUSLIM HORDE)

ISAIAH 17:1,12-14
1 The burden of Damascus.(SYRIA) Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

PSALMS 83:3-8
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6 The tabernacles of Edom,(JORDAN) and the Ishmaelites;(PALESTINIANS) of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines(ARABS) with the inhabitants of Tyre;(LEBABON)
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

So there is all the Muslim and more that March to Israel, Lead by Egypt, but overall Leader is Russia who gives the Commands.

Russia's Putin warns about potential clash of civilizations
18:35 | 03/ 07/ 2006

MOSCOW, July 3 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin warned Monday that people had to understand the potential consequences of a clash of civilizations that he said was being imposed on the world. With fighting in Iraq continuing and violence in the Middle East rising, many political scientists and commentators in Russia have suggested that a conflict between the Muslim and Christian worlds is a possibility. But addressing a world summit of religious leaders, Putin warned, A conflict of civilizations is being virtually imposed on the world and it is necessary to understand what consequences this confrontation could lead to. He said attempts to split the Christian and Muslim communities represented a new threat to the world.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Fla.-Made Microchip To Be Used In Volunteers With Memory Loss
POSTED: 9:19 am EDT July 3, 2006

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Four hospitals in Puerto Rico will begin implanting a Florida made microchip the size of a rice grain in patients who suffer from illnesses that cause memory loss, like Alzheimer's disease, a newspaper reported Sunday. The hospitals will start using the microchip, made by the Delray Beach, Fla.-based Verichip Corp., in August, according to El Nuevo Dia. It is inserted in the forearm, costs $200 and is voluntary. It is a way to offer an additional service because the chip it going to be used on a population that has memory problems ... or great health problems," said Nelson Martinez, coordinator of operations for Hostos Medical Services.

VeriChip is the only company with U.S. federal approval to implant such chips in people. The company has implanted more than 2,500 people worldwide with chips that give hospitals access to their identification, which is used to retrieve medical information from an Internet database. In February, a Cincinnati surveillance equipment company became the first U.S. business to allow employees who voluntarily got chip implants to use them to enter secure rooms. Some employees in the Mexico attorney general's office have also been implanted with chips for this use.

WHO lab confirms 40th Indonesian avian flu death

Jul 3, 2006 (CIDRAP News) – A 5-year-old boy who died Jun 16 in East Java province has become Indonesia's 40th death from H5N1 avian influenza, according to test results from a World Health Organization (WHO)-accredited lab, as reported today by Reuters. Indonesia now trails Vietnam for most deaths in the world from H5N1 by only two, according to WHO statistics. Vietnam, however, has had no human cases of H5N1 since last November, while Indonesia's 52 cases have all come in 2005 and 2006.
The boy was admitted to a hospital in Tulungagung, East Java, Jun 8 and died 8 days later, Nyoman Kandun, director-general of disease control for Indonesia's Ministry of Health, told Reuters today. The presence of H5N1 was confirmed by a WHO laboratory in Hong Kong, according to Kandun.

Reuters quoted an unnamed official at the Ministry of Health's avian flu center as saying, There was a dead chicken near his house. The official said the chicken's cage was about 50 feet (15 meters) from the boy's house. In other avian flu news, China reported a new H5N1 outbreak in poultry in its northwestern Ningxia region, according to a Jul 1 Associated Press story that cited Xinhua News Agency. The outbreak was identified near Zhongwei city, the story cited China's Agriculture Ministry as saying. The ministry did not specify how many or what species of poultry were affected. Ministry experts arrived in the area to control the outbreak, and local officials were disinfecting vehicles and people traveling in and out of the area, according to Xinhua, said the story. China has reported more than 30 outbreaks of avian flu in birds since October 2005.

And in Nigeria, an H5N1 outbreak has affected 20 poultry farms in the eastern state of Taraba, making it the 15th of Nigeria's 36 states to be affected, according to a local official as cited in a Jul 1 Agence France-Presse (AFP) story. The presence of the H5N1 strain of avian flu was confirmed by a National Institute of Veterinary Research lab at Vom after last week's outbreak, according to AFP. Taraba abuts northern Cameroon. So far, 20 farms have been infected and chickens killed, said Yusuf Sanda, spokesperson for the state governor, in the AFP story. The case has been taken over by the federal ministry of agriculture for containment and culling. The state government has set up a committee to look into the ways and means to assist the farmers. Veterinary experts have been sent to these areas to ascertain the damage and the extent of the spread. Avian flu has been detected in several northern Nigerian states and in Nigeria's capital city, Abuja, according to the AFP story. More than 450,000 chickens have already been culled to stop the spread of the disease.

At least 34 killed in Spain subway mishap
Staff and agencies,03 July, 2006
By CIARAN GILES, Associated Press Writer 10 minutes ago

VALENCIA, Spain - A subway train accelerated, shuddered and flipped off the tracks Monday in the Mediterranean port of Valencia, killing at least 34 passengers and injuring 47 in one of Spain‘s worst rail accidents, officials and witnesses said. Rescue workers hustled bloodied, sooty survivors from the tunnel. Anguished relatives cried out in grief and drew each other close as they waited outside the local morgue. The accident brought back memories of the 2004 terrorist attack on Madrid commuter trains that killed 191 people.

Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero cut short a visit to India. Pope Benedict XVI , who was to arrive in Valencia on Saturday for the Roman Catholic Church‘s World Meeting of the Families, prayed for the victims and has followed with pain ... the dramatic reports, the Vatican said. Jorge Alvarez, secretary-general of the Independent Railway Union, said it was too early to blame human error for Monday‘s tragedy.

He said his union repeatedly warned of safety problems on Valencia‘s 18-year-old subway system, particularly the No. 1 line. Vicente Rambla of the regional Interior Ministry said that Monday was one of the saddest days for Valencia, a city of 800,000 on the country‘s east coast, some 220 miles from Madrid. Some of the dead were still inside the carriage hours later, Rambla said. A woman who emerged unhurt from the subway told reporters she had been waiting for a train to arrive when she heard a very loud noise and saw sparks fly deep inside the tunnel, state news agency Efe reported. About 150 people were evacuated from the station, authorities said. Nunez said he was able to break open a door to leave the train.

Police cordoned off the area and a mobile medical unit was set up at the scene. Zapatero was to attend a Tuesday morning mass in Valencia. More than 60 million people used Valencia‘s subway system in 2005, some 165,000 people a day, according to its Web site. The subway has four lines and 116 stations. In June 2003, 19 people were killed and 48 injured in a head-on crash in central Spain. The crash, in which a passenger train collided with a freight train, occurred outside the station in Chinchilla. On March 11, 2004, Islamic radicals bombed several commuter trains around Madrid, killing 191 people and injuring more than 1,500.

Forest fires heat up around the province
Jul, 03 2006 - 5:30 AM

VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - Hot and dry conditions around the province are causing some concern for BC's fire service. And with conditions not expected to change in the near future, we can expect more forest fires. So far, there have been 650 forest fires in BC this season, 30 of which are from Saturday alone. Radha Fisher with the BC Fire Service says this season has been busier than the last. We've had a beautiful weekend, and that has increased the activity that we've seen. We're expecting to see another, at least a week of dry, warm conditions which will compound that even further.Fisher says dry conditions were a contributing factor in the Tumbler Ridge fire, which is anywhere from one to four thousand hectares in size. That fire was caused by a lightning strike.

Rash of small earthquakes reported
Associated Press

There's been a rash of small earthquakes in the Andreanof Islands Sunday. But the Alaska Earthquake Information Center says there have been NO reports of damage from any of them.

The latest was a magnitude 5.0 earthquake recorded about 10:30 Sunday morning. It was centered about 73 miles southeast of Amchitka. Two others -- with magnitudes 5.2 and 5.3 -- were both centered 81 miles southeast of Amchitka. They rumbled within about 20 minutes of each other around ten o'clock this morning.

WTO in 'crisis' after talks fail, Lamy says
03.07.2006 - 09:58 CET | By Helena Spongenberg

With another failed world trade meeting pushing the WTO into a crisis, the head of the organisation, Pascal Lamy, is set to step up negotiating efforts.More than 60 ministers of the 149 WTO members took part in the so-called Doha development round meeting in Geneva over the weekend (30 June-2 July), where they tried to reach an agreement on tariff reductions on the imports of agricultural and industrial goods.I will not beat about the bush, Mr Lamy said after the meeting in a statement. We are now in a crisis. He stated that the 149 WTO members now seemed to be faced with the real propsect of a Doha development round not taking place.

This is serious, not only for the agriculture and industrial tariffs, but also obviously for the round as a whole if we want to conclude it by the end of this year,he said.Mr Lamy also explained that in the next few weeks he would bilaterally establish intensive diplomatic contacts in search of an agreement. The gaps are not unbridgeable and there is no panic, the Frenchman said.EU trade commissioner Peter Mandelson, who deals with WTO negotiations on behalf of the European Union agreed on the problematic outlook. If we don't turn things around in the next two weeks, we will not make a breakthrough this summer and then we will be facing defeat, he said according to the BBC.

The almost five year old Doha round of WTO talks, which started in the capital of Qatar in 2001, has already missed several deadlines and was meant to end in 2004.A ministerial meeting in December last year failed to reach an agreement but set a
deadline for a deal in April which was then postponed to this weekend in Geneva.US trade representative Susan Schwab said the impasse does not mean that the Doha is dead.

The Indian minister of industry, Kamal Nath, who is one of most outspoken critics of the richer countries and who returned to India without waiting for the final outcome of the meeting said, according to La Vanguardia, that there was no necessity to hide that the meeting of Geneva has been a failure.

Australian prime minister John Howard today blamed the EU for the near collapse of the trade talks, saying it was European intransigence on agricultural protection that was putting the negotiations at risk. The Doha round aims to boost the global economy and help pull millions of people across the world out of poverty by liberalising trade in agriculture, industry and services. To save the deal, according to Mr Lamy, the US must reduce the subsidies Washington pays to its farmers, while the EU must lower the duties on agriculture imports and the G-20 group of developing countries, led by Brazil and India, must open up access to its industrial markets.

5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

PSALMS 137:4-6

Global prayers for Gilad
Jews, and Christians in more than 50 nations petition the Almighty
By Stan Goodenough,July 03, 2006

Ignoring fundamental differences that have kept them apart for 2000 years, Jews and Christians in more than 50 different nations have been joining in prayer to the God of Israel for the safekeeping and speedy release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.Since his abduction by Palestinian Arabs on June 25, congregations in synagogues and churches and students in colleges and seminaries at all four points of the compass have held special prayers on behalf of the 19-year-old and his family.

And in what is surely a sign of the extra-ordinary days in which we live, The Jerusalem Post – a secular Israeli daily – has been printing the prayers of hundreds of these People of the Book.

This ongoing phenomenon of worldwide intercession ignited spontaneously among people of many tribes and nations and tongues who worship the one true God, and whose hearts have been wrenched at the photographs of the slight, sweetly-smiling and bespectacled young man standing in uniform next to an Israeli tank.

Whether been made to “HaShem,” “Adonai,” “Jesus,” or “Yeshua,” more than 1000 prayers have been posted on the Post website by concerned individuals in Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Curacao, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, England, Finland, France, Gabon, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, Scotland, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey, the Ukraine, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela and the Virgin Islands.

Petitioners, many of them parents who said they could hardly imagine what Shalit’s family must be going through, expressed their hopes for a safe reunification, for courage for both the captured soldier and his family, for wisdom and strength for the Israeli government, and for the exacting of just and swift retribution on the abductors. On Monday morning, the terrorists holding Shalit issued an ultimatum, saying that unless Israel met their demand for the release of hundreds of Arab prisoners by 6:00 am Tuesday, the Jewish state would have to pay the full future consequences.Prayers for Shalit's freedom are expected to intensify in the coming
hours.

PRAYER FOR GILAD AND ALL ISRAELIS.

I Pray Father, The GOD of Israel that you protect and save your Israeli Soldier Gilad Shalit. And I pray your protection for all the Israelis in Israel and the World from hatred and death. I also pray for the rebuilding of the 3RD TEMPLE and for the PEACE OF JERUSALEM. And I pray this Father in KING JESUS Name AMEN and AMEM. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Moderate quake shakes southeast Turkey Sun Jul 2, 4:53 PM ET

ANKARA, Turkey - A moderate earthquake shook the southeastern Turkish province of Bingol on Sunday, a seismology center said. There were no reports of any damage or injuries. The quake, with a preliminary magnitude of 4.9, was centered near the town
Karliova, 560 miles southeast of the capital, Ankara, the Istanbul-based Kandilli Observatory said. It struck at 10:39 p.m.Earthquakes are frequent in Turkey which lies on active fault lines.

Two devastating earthquakes in 1999 killed some 18,000 people. In 2003, an earthquake measuring 6.4 collapsed a school dormitory in Bingol province, killing 83 children. The collapse was blamed on poor construction. A magnitude-6.4 quake killed 177 people in Bingol in 1995.

LUKE 21:11,25-26
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Storms kill 11 in southwest China 1 hour, 12 minutes ago

BEIJING (Reuters) - Storms in southwest China's Yunnan province have killed 11 people, adding to a trail of havoc from heavy rains lashing parts of the country, state media reported on Monday. In Zhaotong in Yunnan, thousands of villagers have been hit by heavy rains, hail storms, flash floods and landslides since June 20, and troops were called in to rescue and search for survivors, the Xinhua news agency reported. As well as the 11 dead, nine residents were seriously injured and six were still missing on Sunday, Xinhua said.

The deaths in Yunnan are the latest from a string of local but devastating storms and flash floods across south and southwest China that have killed about 200 people since late May.A week ago, flash floods killed 18 with another 18 missing in the central province of Hunan.Storms in the southwestern province of Sichuan last week unleashed floods and mudslides which killed 14, the China Daily reported on Monday.Chinese meteorological authorities have warned people to expect more heavy storms in coming days, the daily said.

President Bush Declares Six NW Ohio Counties Disaster Areas

COLUMBUS (AP) -- President Bush declared a major disaster Sunday in six storm-ravaged counties in northern Ohio, making federal aid available to residents recovering from flooding, tornadoes and straight-line winds. Ohio Governor Bob Taft sought the declaration last week after visiting some of the hardest-hit spots, which he declared were in a state of emergency.I toured some of the areas recently and saw firsthand the severity and the magnitude of the damage, Taft said in a news release issued by his office.

This federal assistance will help Ohio families and businesses as they recover from the disaster and return to their daily lives. The counties eligible for federal aid are Cuyahoga, Erie, Huron, Lucas, Sandusky and Stark.Residents and business owners can begin applying for aid Monday by calling the Federal Emergency Management Agency at (800) 621-3362 or visiting the agency's Web site, http://www.fema.gov.

The storms, which began June 21 and continued into June 23, killed two people, produced several tornadoes and knocked out power to thousands. Rescue diver Al Anderson Jr. drowned while trying to help two teens whose Jeep got caught in rising floodwaters near the village of Wellington, about 40 miles southwest of Cleveland. As the storm passed southwest of Canton, 16-year-old Jordan Stephens was killed when a tree crashed into his tent, authorities said. The water in Norwalk, about halfway between Toledo and Cleveland in Huron County, nearly covered cars and playground equipment in some low-lying areas. Bill Ommert, director of the county's emergency management agency, estimated the damage at about $2 million to homes and businesses and another $5 million to farmers' crops.Posted by AEB

ROMANS 1:25-28
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie,
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.(Aids,VDS ETC).
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

100,000 Signatures Against Homosexual Parade in Jerusalem
By Hillel Fendel(Arutz-7 News)

Over 100,000 people have signed a petition against the large gay-pride parade scheduled in Jerusalem next month. The petition is being organized by Jerusalem City Council member Mina Fenton (NRP). The petition states that the "holding of such a parade in Jerusalem, of all places, is a great blow at the ages-old Jewish character of the city and its holy values, for the Jewish and non-Jewish public in Israel and around the world. To hold it in Jerusalem is a provocation and a declared mockery of all that is precious and sacred in the Holy city of Jerusalem in the eyes of the entire world.I have received positive feedback from all over the world, Fenton said, as well as within Israel... We are sure that these first 100,000 signatures will clarify to the Supreme Court the majority opinion, as well as the dangers and degradation involved in holding the parade. I call upon every citizen in Israel and abroad to help out in gathering signatures and to do whatever is necessary to reach the ultimate goal, which is the cancellation of the parade.

Rabbi Yehuda Levin, of the New York-based Jews for Morality organization (JewsforMorality.org.), is now in Israel - for the sixth time of late - solely to fight against the parade. He says that he has been hearing talk of a compromise, which worries him greatly. If they think that we will be silent if the parade is moved from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv," he told IsraelNationalRadio's Tamar Yonah, they
do not understand our entire struggle. The Holy Land in its entirety must not be defiled; the basis for our continued presence in this land is that it remain pure.Rabbi Levin also said that the newly appointed mufti of Jerusalem, as well as other leading Moslem clerics, has shown great support for his cause.

The international gay event is scheduled to be a week-long affair, featuring visits all over Israel, including planting a tree in Pride Forest and a meeting with like-minded individuals in Kibbutz Tuval in the Galilee; Tzfat; the ancient synagogue at Katzrin; night-life in Tel Aviv; and more. In Jerusalem, the participants will be welcomed in a ceremony with members of the Jerusalem Open House, the hosts of World Pride. The internet site states the group will tour the Old City, including King David's Tomb, the room of the Last Supper, the Western Wall, the Jewish Quarter, and more.

The organization has also scheduled a tour of the Knesset, which several MKs have asked to cancel. The event is billed on the World Pride internet site as Bringing Order to the Knesset: National and International Summit Meeting for Youth. The promotional literature states, Youth on the map! After this day, it will be impossible to ignore us.

Everyone will understand and remember for a long, long time that the proud [Hebrew gaieh] youth has what to be proud of... Ages 15-25 - boys, girls, lesbian, homo, trans, bi,those who are hesitating, and friends - come to take part in this exciting youth day, a joint production of the Open House and the Israeli Gay Youth Organization, which will be held in the Knesset... Two-way transportation from all over the country... We will meet lots of pals from all over Israel and the world, and we'll sit together to work out important subject that are very relevant to our daily lives as students, soldiers... youth with ideals and values. After lunch, we will meet with elected representatives of all stripes, and we will present them with our I Believe' about the life of gaieh youth in Israel.

And at the end of the day: 'Good Jerusalem Children'the greatest youth party in Israel. MK Otniel Shneller (Kadima), as well as several MKs from the National Union/National Religious Party, have asked Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik to cancel the event. Shneller said he supports "teaching towards democracy and liberalism, but a visit like this will turn the legislature into Sodom and Gomorra.

MK Eli Gabbai (NRP) told Arutz-7, "Our original plan was to try to legislate a law that would allow a municipality to ban a parade for various reasons. But then we realized that the Supreme Court might disallow such a law because of civil rights considerations. So we are now turning once again to the municipality and the police, because all three religions agree that this parade should not be held in Jerusalem, and it could easily become a danger to the public welfare, in this special city that is recognized as such by the whole world.

Yes this will continue Islam will rise ,Christianity will fall because the Bible says beheading will be a common occurance. During the 7 yr tribulation if you get saved and do not accept the Murderous system of the World Politician you will be beheaded for your Faith and Testimony in Christ.

REVELATION 20:4
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

In Europe, Islam rises, Christianity falls
Muslims may soon become majority,July 2, 2006

PARIS -- Al Fath Mosque is in a scruffy immigrant neighborhood not far from the neon-lit kitsch of the Pigalle district. On Friday afternoons, the mosque is jammed, and the overflow of worshippers spills into the streets.Tourists who stumble on the scene reflexively reach for their cameras, struck by this unusual public manifestation of religiosity in a country where Christian belief has become passi.

In France and in almost every other European country, Christianity appears to be in a free fall. Although up to 88% of the French identify themselves as Catholic, only about 5% go to church on most Sundays; 60% say they never or practically never go.

But Islam is a thriving force. The 12 million to 15 million Muslims who live in Europe make up less than 5% of the total population, but the vitality of their faith has led some experts to predict that Islam will become the continent's dominant faith.Princeton University historian Bernard Lewis, the dean of American Middle East scholars, flatly predicts that Europe will be Muslim by the end of this century.

George Weigel, a leading American theologian, frets about a Europe in which the muezzin summons the faithful to prayer from the central loggia of St. Peter's in Rome, while Notre Dame has been transformed into Hagia Sophia on the Seine -- a great Christian church will become an Islamic museum.Lewis and Weigel represent a trend among American thinkers who say they fear Europe's doom if it does not re-Christianize, and soon.

Most European experts believe those fears are exaggerated.France, with Europe's largest Muslim population, surely will be a test case.

A church in crisis

Little argument exists about the severity of the crisis facing the Catholic Church in France. In contrast with the vigorous (and masculine) face that French Muslims present to the world, a typical Sunday mass almost anywhere in France will feature an elderly priest preaching to a dwindling congregation of mostly elderly women.Mass is boring, said Odon Vallet, a religion professor at the Sorbonne. The ceremony isn't very beautiful; the music is bad; the sermon is uninteresting. Mass is for people who have nothing else to do on a Sunday -- no sports, no hobbies, no shopping, no entertainment.Islam is France's fastest-growing religion.

But this is mainly a result of immigration patterns, not conversions. Most of the 4.5 million Muslims who make up about 7% of the French population are immigrants or the descendants of immigrants from former French colonies in north Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.

Global Islam is eager for converts. But in Europe, the situation is nuanced. According to Olivier Roy, a leading French scholar on Islam, Muslims in Europe would be happy for Christians to convert, while Christians merely want Muslims to become more secular. While President George W. Bush proudly declares America "a nation of prayer,French President Jacques Chirac praises the virtues of French secularism. France developed a distinctly French notion of church-state separation more than a century ago in an attempt to curb the influence of the Catholic Church. Known as laicite, it allows all faiths equal status and ensures that all are equally divorced from the functions of the state.Bruno Bourg-Broc, a deputy in the National Assembly and self-described committed Catholic, laments the erosion of the faith in France.

We are a fundamentally Christian society, he said. The landscape is formed of churches. It's part of our culture, our literature and painting. Whether people want it in the constitution or not, we were formed in this way and should not be ashamed of it.The doctrine of Islam is to conquer and convert, and we must keep this in mind. I don't think there is a real risk here, but if it happens, it will be our own fault.

Hope for the future

Last year, when Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected pope and took the name Benedict, the patron saint of Europe, it was seen as a sign that he would refocus the church's energies on rebuilding the faith in Europe. The Vatican was heartened when a million young people turned out last August for World Youth Day in Cologne, Germany, and heard the new pope urge them to rediscover Europe's Christian roots. Some experts also are encouraged on Christianity's behalf if only because things can't get much worse. If you are the type of person who buys stocks and bonds, I'd buy Christianity, said Vallet of Sorbonne. The price now is very low, so I think it has to go up.Other analysts believe Europe's future is neither Christianity nor Islam, but secularism. A pragmatic reading of the numbers suggests that not only will Christianity never regain its dominant cultural role but also that churchgoers will be forced to recast themselves as minorities or subcultures.Who truly thinks that Benedict XVI is the future of Europe? said Roy, the Islamic scholar.

THE SONIC BOOM

What is a Sonic Boom?

Sonic boom is an impulsive noise similar to thunder. It is caused by an object moving faster than sound, about 750 miles per hour at sea level. An aircraft traveling through the atmosphere continuously produces air-pressure waves similar to the water waves caused by a ship's bow. When the aircraft exceeds the speed of sound, these pressure waves combine and form shock waves which travel forward from the generation or release point. As an aircraft flies at supersonic speeds it is continually generating shock waves, dropping sonic boom along its flight path, similar to someone dropping objects from a moving vehicle. From the perspective of the aircraft, the boom appears to be swept backwards as it travels awayfrom the aircraft. If the plane makes a sharp turn or pulls up, the boom will hit the ground in front of the aircraft.

The sound heard on the ground as a "sonic boom" is the sudden onset and release of pressure after the buildup by the shock wave or peak overpressure. The change in pressure caused by sonic boom is only a few pounds per square foot, about the same pressure change we experience on an elevator as it descends two or three floors, in a much shorter time period. It is the magnitude of this peak overpressure that describes a sonic boom. There are two types of booms: N-waves and U-waves. The N-wave is generated from steady flight conditions, and its pressure wave is shaped like the letter N. N-waves have a front shock to a positive peak overpressure which is followed by a linear decrease in the pressure until the rear shock returns to ambient pressure. The U-wave, or focused boom, is generated from maneuvering flights, and its pressure wave is shaped like the letter U. U-waves have positive shocks at the front and rear of the boom in which the peak overpressures are increased compared to the N-wave.

For today's supersonic aircraft in normal operating conditions, the peak over pressure varies from less than one pound to about 10 pounds per square foot for a N-wave boom. Peak overpressures for U-waves are amplified two to five times the N-wave, but this amplified overpressure impacts only a very small area when compared to the area exposed to the rest of the sonic boom. The strongest sonic boom ever recorded was 144 pounds per square foot and it did not cause injury to the researchers who were exposed to it. The boom was produced by a F-4 flying just above the speed of sound at an altitude of 100 feet. In recent tests, the maximum boom measured during more realistic flight conditions was 21 pounds per square foot.

There is a probability that some damage shattered glass, for example, will result from a sonic boom. Buildings in good repair should suffer no damage by pressures
of less than 16 pounds per square foot. And, typically, community exposure to sonic boom is below two pounds per square foot. Ground motion resulting from sonic boom is rare and is well below structural damage thresholds accepted by the U.S. Bureau of
Mines and other agencies.

Characteristics:

The energy range of sonic boom is concentrated in the 0.1 - 100 hertz frequency range that is considerably below that of subsonic aircraft, gunfire and most industrial noise. Duration of sonic boom is brief; less than a second, 100 milliseconds (.100 seconds) for most fighter sized aircraft and 500 milliseconds for the space shuttle or Concorde jetliner.

The intensity and width of a sonic boom path depends on the physical characteristics of the aircraft and how it is operated. In general, the greater an aircraft's altitude, the lower the overpressure on the ground. Greater altitude also increases the boom's lateral spread, exposing a wider area to the boom.

Overpressures in the sonic boom impact area, however, will not be uniform. Boom intensity is greatest directly under the flight path, progressively weakening with greater horizontal distance away from the aircraft flight track. Ground width of the boom exposure area is approximately one mile for each 1,000 feet of altitude; that is, an aircraft flying supersonic at 30,000 feet will create a lateral boom
spread of about 30 miles.

For steady supersonic flight, the boom is described as a carpet boom since it moves with the aircraft as it maintains supersonic speed and altitude. Some maneuvers, diving, acceleration or turning, can cause focusing of the boom. Other maneuvers, such as deceleration and climbing, can reduce the strength of the shock. In some instances weather conditions can distort sonic booms.

Sonic Boom Refraction:

Depending on the aircraft's altitude, sonic booms reach the ground two to 60 seconds after flyover. However, not all booms are heard at ground level. The speed of sound at any altitude is a function of air temperature. A decrease or increase in temperature results in a corresponding decrease or increase in sound speed. Under standard atmospheric conditions, air temperature decreases with increased altitude. For example, when sea-level temperature is 58 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature at 30,000 feet drops to minus 49 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature gradient helps bend the sound waves upward. Therefore, for a boom to reach the ground, the aircraft speed relative to the ground must be greater than the speed of sound at the ground.

For example, the speed of sound at 30,000 feet is about 670 miles per hour, but an aircraft must travel at least 750 miles per hour (Mach 1.12, where Mach 1 equals the speed of sound) for a boom to be heard on the ground.

F-4 Breaks sound barrier

The Air Force has conducted faster-than-sound test flights since 1947, and today most Air Force fighter aircraft are capable of supersonic speed. Consequently, supersonic training flights that simulate actual combat conditions are necessary to ensure the success and survival of aircrews during wartime. However, Air Force procedures require that, whenever possible, flights be over open water, above 10,000 feet and no closer than 15 miles from shore. Supersonic operations over land must be conducted above 30,000 feet or, when below 30,000 feet, in specially designated areas approved by Headquarters United States Air Force, Washington, D.C., and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Public Interest Responsibilities:

The Air Force continues to expand its knowledge of sonic boom. Continuing research specifically addresses modeling the generation of a sonic boom and its impact on the environment people, domestic animals, wildlife, and historical, unconventional and
conventional structures.

This research provides the Air Force with tools to mitigate sonic boom disturbances through flight operations planning and land use compatibility planning.

EGYPT WANTS A SETTLEMENT

1-Death Wish. 2-Arab league want US to change position. 3-Egypt struggles to defuse crisis.

JUDE 4-16
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.

Death Wish
by Moshe Feiglin

What do the Labor party, the Israeli and international media, the Oslo Accords, the destruction of Israeli outposts, the Separation Fence and the Gay Parade all have in common? The answer? Simple. They are all products of the Leftist worldview. And what is the essence of that worldview? According to general consensus, Leftist ideology is forward-looking, progressive and striving for liberation: liberation from class enslavement by the rich and powerful, from enslavement to the concept of nationality and to those who lead in its name straight to the killing fields; liberation from the controlling clutches of religion and tradition, from the
yoke of hypocritical conservative morality, even from outdated family frameworks. In short, the Left sees and presents itself as a liberation movement that seeks to allow life to burst forth in Technicolor.

But something strange happens in real life. Throughout history, whenever the Left achieved absolute control, you will find nothing but death. Even more to the point, no ideology has brought such tremendous death and suffering in its wake as the various Leftist ideologies. Fascism does not even come close to the edge of the deep dark chasm that the Left has dug for humanity. Even the Nazis (may their names be blotted out) did not claim the staggering number of victims that the Left brought on the human race; from Stalin's Communist party to the Khmer Rouge of Pol Pot, from Fidel Castro's reign of terror to the billion-slave work-camp of Mao Tse-tung in China. "O.K.," you may ask, but what do all those madmen have to do with our homegrown Israeli Leftists? Yossi Beilin is not interested in creating gulags in Dimona, and Chaim Ramon is not a supporter of organized mass murder.

True. It is reasonable to assume that the vast majority of our own Leftists really believe that they are a liberation movement. Stalin also believed it. But the real test is in the outcome. What have been the results of the Leftist activities and forces listed at the beginning of this article? Where have Labor and the extreme left Meretz party led us? What has been the consequence of the Israeli and international media pushing the Oslo process – its impact on our buses, in our shopping centers and public places? Who makes money when settlements are demolished?

What is the significance of the Separation Fence ("Auschwitz Borders" in the words of Abba Eban)? How can we promote morality and life if encouraging the dissolution of the family unit?

The Left is not a movement of life, love and liberty. It is an ideology based on a death wish. Whatever the Left touches, wherever it reaches, death is not far behind. Either directly, if the Left has absolute control, or indirectly – when it wraps its message in meaningless slogans and presents itself as a liberation movement. The Left's death wish is expressed by its desire to return the world to a state of chaos. Order, borders and proper separation all create life. Chaos is death. G-d separated between light and dark, between one ocean and the next, between heaven and earth. A short overview of the story of Creation shows us how the entire process of creating life is a process of one separation after another. A microscopic peek at the fertilization process of a zygote once again shows how life from its very inception is a series of divisions. The cell divides time and again. G-d differentiates between the cells, and life is created. Human life is built on separation: between nations, communities, classes and more. Separation creates life.

But what does the Left desire?

The Left desires to revert to chaos. To eliminate borders – political, national, of class and of family. To jumble everything together and to return it to chaos. To death. Keeping things in order requires effort. It is difficult to guard life. It
is much more enticing to allow everything to fuse together and to surrender to the ritual of slavery and death, while deluding ourselves that this is authentic living and that this is what happiness is all about. Israeli society is learning this traumatic lesson after a decade of Oslo. Every time that a Leftist comes up with a new, hollow idea, we would be wise to remember what draws us to it and where it will lead us.To learn more about Moshe Feiglin and Manhigut Yehudit (Jewish Leadership) and to read our plan for Israel's future, visit http://www.jewishisrael.org/ .

Thank God for John Bolton sticking up for Israel.

Arab League calls on U.S. to “revise its position”
7/1/2006 7:00:00 PM GMT

The Arab League is urging Washington "revise its position" after its ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, accused Syria of being responsible for the crisis over the Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit. The United States, as a large power and a permanent member of the Security Council , must revise its position and assume its responsibilities with regard to international law, the deputy secretary general of the Arab League, Ahmed Ben Helli, was quoted as saying. He also warned the U.S. against stirring up these questions because it is the Palestinians who are subjected to the aggression. Yesterday, the Palestinians demanded the UN Security Council pressure the Jewish State to immediately end current aggression, but the United States defended its number one ally in the Middle East, accusing Syria and Iran of having role as state sponsors of terror in the crisis over the Israeli soldier.

U.S. ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton claimed that Syria was behind Sunday raid in Which Gilad Shalit was kidnapped, since it houses the offices of Islamic group Hamas. We would not be where we are right now if it were not for Syria's support and harboring of fighters, Bolton said. He moreover urged the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to turn in Hamas' exiled supreme Khaled Mashaal. Syrian ambassador Milad Attieh dismissed Bolton’s accusations as baseless and unacceptable.
The American delegate to the United Nations who is defending Israel in its aggression against the Palestinian people, has no right to level such accusations, SANA news agency quoted him as saying. Meanwhile, Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi slammed Israel for recently sending its jets over the Syrian coast violating the Syrian airspace and sovereignty.

The U.S. unwavering support to Israel made it evades the international punishment and persists in its hostile aggressions on the occupied Arab territories, Araqhchi was quoted by the Central Unity for News as saying during a speech at the UN Security Council emergency meeting.Araqhchi moreover criticized Washington for previously using its veto power in blocking any resolution that pressures the Israelis and protects Palestinians’ rights.Pretexts that Israel has claimed to overrun the Palestinian lands are baseless and untrue as well they don't justify crimes against the Palestinians. He said, condemning the destruction of infrastructure in Gaza and the detention of Palestinian cabinet members.

Notice the Arabs went Immediately to the UN as soon as Israel defended its Soldier and country, The Arabs cry foul, but still no one country goes to the UN to stick up for the Israelis while Missles are being fired left right and center at Israeli Citizens, outrages I say, but GOD will have the last say in this, we will see who wins in the end, when GOD demolished 5/6TH of the Muslim Armies in the future, then we will see who will be laughing and complaining about Israel.

PSALMS 2:1-6
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

Egypt struggles to defuse crisis
From correspondents in Cairo,July 03, 2006

EGYPT is trying to defuse a rapidly escalating crisis over the capture of an Israeli soldier by Palestinian militants but has so far little to show for its efforts despite the involvement of President Hosni Mubarak.President Hosni Mubarak is in overall command and the head of the intelligence service, Omar Suleiman, is at the controls, said a senior foreign diplomat who asked not to be named. Mr Mubarak himself has said he is "personally undertaking all possible efforts, working until late at night, to prevent a veritable catastrophe for the whole region.

Mr Mubarak called Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas Sunday to discuss Egyptian moves to resolve the standoff by diplomatic means, the Egyptian news agency MENA reported. But a spokesman for Abbas, Nabil Abu Rudeina, warned Sunday that the
mediation efforts to free Israeli corporal Gilad Shalit had yielded no results and were near an impasse.Three armed Palestinian groups, including the armed wing of the governing party Hamas, captured Shalit in a raid on the Israel-Gaza border June 25 and have demanded the release of 1000 Palestinian, Arab and Muslim prisoners held by Israel. But they have not explicitly said they would free Shalit in exchange.

An official with Abbas's Fatah movement said Egypt had proposed that Shalit be released in exchange for an Israeli commitment, guaranteed by Egypt, to free Palestinian women and children held by Israel by the end of the year. But Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday again ruled out any prisoner exchange. These are not easy days for the state of Israel but we have no intention of capitulating to blackmail, he said. "Everyone knows that capitulating to terrorism today means inviting the next act of terrorism. The key player on the ground for Egypt is Mr Suleiman, a 70-year-old general and intelligence chief who is often given charge of some of the country's most sensitive diplomatic assignments. It was Mr Suleiman who arranged truces among Palestinian factions, including Hamas, in the spring of 2005 as well as the transition to an Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in September last year.

Suleiman is at the heart of everything, that's for sure, said Emad Gad, a Middle East specialist at the Al-Ahram strategic studies centre in Cairo. As one of only two Arab states - the other being Jordan - to have signed a peace treaty with Israel, Egypt has long seen itself as a protective older brother for the Palestinians, ready with advice or to act as an arbiter. But a diplomat with long experience in the Middle East noted that "Egypt is navigating by sight and we cannot underestimate the adverse influence of Syria, home to Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, and of Iran.He said Egypt, a major beneficiary of US aid, wants to appear in the eyes of the United States as the only reasonable partner in the region.

For Egypt, where public opinion is deeply hostile to Israel, the crisis could have domestic reverberations in the event of a major Israeli ground offensive in Gaza or a massive influx into Egypt of Gaza Palestinians.Egyptian authorities have beefed up security along the border with Gaza, sending 2500 police officers to support 750 soldiers deployed there.

Montserrat volcano now at level 4 alert ,Thursday June 29 2006

Scientists at the Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) have reported that there is an ongoing swarm of volcanic earthquakes at shallow depths,“the likes of which have not been seen at the MVO for years. Monday, the governor’s office released a press
statement stating that Montserrat’s authorities have increased the volcanic alert to level 4.According to the statement, “This comes in the wake of increased seismic activity this past weekend, which is still ongoing. This reported seismic activity increases the possibility of serious eruptive activity that could affect some inhabited areas. This reported ongoing swarm of volcanic earthquakes could possibly lead to a dome collapse or explosive events. It is because of this exact reason that the volcanic alert level on Montserrat has been increased.

Due to this recent increase in the volcanic alert level, St. George’s Hill, located in the day time entry zone, is closed until further notice. After a meeting at the governor’s office on Monday, the emergency policy group decided to close St. George’s Hill; this means that there should be no entry to this area at all until further notice. The office went on to advise, Anyone entering points south of the Belham Valley, other than Iles Bay Hill, should, for their own safety and as a precaution, register at the Salem Police Station before crossing the Belham Valley. Residents of Iles Bay Hill were further reminded that they should not attempt to cross the Belham Valley during heavy rain or increased volcanic activity.

For those residents of Salem, a highly populated village living close to the boundaries of the exclusion zone, there is no change in risk levels. The level of risk associated with this area is currently categorised as low on the chief medical officer’s scale. Director of the MVO, Dr. Sue Loughlin, said as usual it was hard to predict exactly what would be the outcome of this current increase in volcanic activity. As a result, the MVO is monitoring this increased activity closely.
Residents of Montserrat are paying keen attention to the Soufriére Hills Mountain to find out what will come of this ongoing swarm of shallow volcano tectonic earthquakes.

Israel should free Hamas ministers -EU president
01 Jul 2006 09:30:29 GMT

More BERLIN, July 1 (Reuters) - Israel should release dozens of detained Palestinian officials and the Palestinians should free immediately an Israeli soldier, the new Finnish EU president was quoted as saying on Saturday.I am very concerned about developments in the Middle East. The only way to resolve the conflict is to return to the negotiating table," Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen said in an interview with Germany's Die Welt newspaper.

On Saturday Vanhanen took over from Austria as the head of the rotating presidency of the 25-member European Union.I call on the Palestinians to immediately release the Israeli soldier they took hostage. At the same time, Israel must halt its military operations, free the Palestinian ministers and members of parliament and stop destroying civilian infrastructure in the Palestinian territories,he said.

Finland gives 2nd suspension warning in 2 days

Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen said on Friday that the European Union could suspend entry talks with Turkey during his country's presidency of the bloc if Ankara fails to meet the Union's accession requirements. There's always the possibility to stop the negotiations, Vanhanen told reporters in Helsinki, a day before Finland takes over the six-month rotating presidency of the 25-nation bloc from Austria.Vanhanen's warning was the second in two days following a similar one from Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja on ThursdayI believe Turkey realizes that. Otherwise it will become a difficult question during Finland's presidency,
Vanhanen said reiterating that Ankara has to fulfill all its commitments, referring to the need for Turkey to open its airports and harbors to Greek Cypriot vessels by the end of the year and implement reforms on fundamental freedoms in Turkey.

Turkey put reservations on the implementation of the Ankara Protocol which extends the Customs Union to the 10 new members of the EU, including Greek Cyprus. It refuses to allow Greek Cypriot ships and planes to use its ports and airports until the crippling international isolation of the Turkish Cypriots is ended. The EU gave Turkey the green light to open membership talks in October but Ankara has accused the Union of obstructing its bid to join by linking the speed of its membership negotiations with demands that it recognize EU-member Greek Cyprus.Cyprus has been divided into a Greek Cypriot-controlled south and a Turkish Cypriot-controlled
north since 1974, when Turkey intervened on the island to stop an Athens-backed coup by supporters of union with Greece (enosis).

A blueprint for peace and reunification on Cyprus was approved by Turkish Cypriots but rejected by Greek Cypriots in separate referendums in April 2004.

Finnish agenda for term presidency

As well as the European Union's membership talks with Turkey, Finland also intends to concentrate on the Union's prospects and efforts to improve energy cooperation with Russia during its six-month presidency of the bloc.Vanhanen said on Friday that he hopes his country's leadership will breathe fresh air into the EU, currently in the doldrums. He vowed to offer the EU more transparency to help it reconnect with its citizens, especially after France and the Netherlands voted last year to reject the bloc's constitution.Finnish officials said they intend to push more open access to EU minister's meetings and public access to documents. We believe we have a lot to give to the presidency, he told reporters. The Union is useful and necessary for its citizens. It must have a clear mandate, a clear legitimacy.

Vanhanen said Finland also seeks to prioritize more research and development issues as a way to boost job growth and that he'll work towards better coordination on innovations, notably on patent protection measures. The Russian energy issue will also top its agenda as the 25-nation bloc is heavily dependent on Russian energy imports and several members experienced shortages last winter during a gas pipeline dispute between Ukraine and Russia. This will be Finland's second turn as EU president since it joined in 1995. Its 1999 chairmanship saw the Union declare Turkey an official candidate and open talks with Romania and Bulgaria.Greek Cyprus: Turkey will decide whether road to EU remains open

The newly appointed Greek Cypriot foreign minister stressed on Friday that it's entirely up to Turkey to decide whether the road towards the EU remains open. Turkey has to help itself. Ankara can't expect Greek Cyprus or any other European country to help and at the same time jeopardize its own course towards the EU,Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister George Lillikas added.Touching on the EU Committee of Permanent Representatives' (COREPER) decision on Wednesday to open the chapter on the Customs Union in Croatia's accession talks but not for Turkey, Lillikas described the EU move as a practical assurance. That decision was expected. The EU has warned Turkey to meet its European obligations, he said, expressing the Greek Cypriot administration's wish for Turkey to continue its course towards Europe.

Rasmussen: Candidates should consider EU absorption capacity

Danish Premier Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated on Friday that EU candidate states should take the bloc's absorption capacity into consideration. Delivering a speech at an EU Parliament speakers' meeting in Copenhagen, at which Turkey is represented by Bulent Arinc, Rasmussen expressed his opposition to proposals to draw the final borders of the 25-nation bloc, suggesting the implementation of new criteria and standards for incoming member states by also taking into account the Union's absorption capacity.Rasmussen also ruled out further EU enlargement before there's approval of the proposed EU constitution, which was rejected by French and Dutch voters in separate referendums last year.I find it unrealistic to begin new rounds of accession talks before the EU constitution is approved, said the Danish premier, underlining that the views presented in the constitution will also be a determining factor in further enlargement.Rasmussen, however, did express his support for the enlargement process, saying, We have to keep the promises made to candidate states. Suggesting further debates on the process, the Danish premier said, We aren't afraid of discussing the enlargement issue and holding discussions doesn't mean that we'll suspend the process.

The Bible says the Whole world would be suffering destruction in the last days. Just look at these headlines its World devestation today.

SCOFFERS MOCKING CHRISTS LITERAL 2ND COMING TO EARTH BODILY.

2 PETER 3:3-7
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

MATTHEW 24:37-39
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

GENESIS 6:11-13
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

LUKE 17:25-27
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

LUKE 21:28
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

REVELATION 8:7
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Two more Sask communities on alert as lightning sparks dozens of fires 1 hour, 31 minutes ago

GRANDMOTHER'S BAY, Sask. (CP) - Two more communities in northern Saskatchewan were put on evacuation alert as lightning strikes sparked dozens of new forest fires on Friday. Judy Orthner of the province's public safety department said that about 1,000 residents of Grandmother's Bay and 700 people in nearby Stanley Mission were told to get ready to leave their homes because of the new fires in the region northeast of La Ronge.Orthner said the decision to prepare for evacuation was made by local officials, and that members of her department were getting buses ready and preparing reception areas for evacuees in Saskatoon.

Janette Krayetski of Saskatchewan Environment said the department wasn't sure where the fires were or how close they were to the communities due to the smoke. The details are sketchy. We just know that we have a concern in that area and we need to get in and protect those communities,Krayetski said.English Bay, a recreation spot and campground near the two communities, was also evacuated on Friday.Saskatchewan Environment estimated about 58 new fires were sparked Friday, adding to the 138 that were already burning in the province at the start of the day.

Krayetski said the forest fire danger was high throughout the province. Several highways were closed due to the fires, and anyone planning to drive north of Prince Albert was being advised to call the Transportation Department.Fire and smoke was also making travelling difficult on the west side of the province north of Buffalo Narrows. The news was better Friday for Fond-du-Lac, Black Lake and Stony Rapids, three communities in Saskatchewan's far north that had been evacuated earlier in the week.Krayetski said both communities got rain on Thursday, and officials said Friday that people were being allowed to return.Orthner said if evacuations are ordered in Grandmother's Bay and Stanley Mission, they would be housed at the University of Saskatchewan - the same place from where Fond-du-Lac and Stony Rapids residents were leaving. She said there were other places evacuees could be housed in case the centres became full.

SEA AND THE WAVES ROARING. HURRICANES,TORNADOES,TSUNAMIS,STORMS.

LUKE 21:25-26
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

LUKE 17:28-30
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

More IDF Strikes in Operation Summer Rains
By Hana Levi Julian (Arutz -7 News)

Israel Defense Forces are pounding Gaza with artillery and air strikes in order to pressure the population to force Hamas terrorists to give up their hostage, 19-year-old IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert froze Phase III of Operation Summer Rains on Thursday night at the request of Egyptian officials who were meeting with Hamas terrorists in an effort to persuade them to release their Israeli captive. He did not, however, hold back IDF troops from continuing the operation that was already in play. More than 500 artillery shells have been fired by the IDF in Gaza in the past 24 hours.

An Israel Air Force helicopter fired at an Islamic Jihad terrorist as he attempted to launch a Kassam rocket at Israeli forces. 25-year-old Abdel Rael later succumbed to his wounds, the first to die since the start of the IDF operation.IAF jets scored direct hits on close to a dozen targets in the wee hours before dawn on Friday. In Gaza City alone, the Palestinian Authority Interior Ministry was struck, as was a Fatah office and a Hamas terrorist training camp. PA Interior Minister Said Siyam’s office was targeted because it was a meeting place to plan and direct terror activity, said IDF sources.A missile also hit a Kassam rocket factory operated by the Fatah terrorist group, the Al-Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades.

Also on Friday, IDF troops operating in southern Gaza fired at a terror cell aiming at an army position with an anti-tank rocket launcher. The terrorists managed to escape, but it is believed that two of the attackers were wounded. The strikes will continue, said IDF spokesman, Cpt. Jacob Dallal, until the terrorists free Shalit and end their Kassam rocket attacks against Israel. Dallal said the operation is being carried out in a calibrated, studied fashion.Dallal reiterated that the goal of Operation Summer Rains is simple: to gain the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit. Putting an end to the non-stop barrage of Kassam rocket attacks against Sderot and other western Negev communities is a second goal of the operation as well.We hope that this will work and that [Shalit] will be freed as soon as possible, said Dallal.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

REVELATION 9:18

Frist: Europe missile-defense site needed By LIZ SIDOTI, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 19 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist urged President Bush on Friday to intensify efforts to put interceptor missiles at a site in Europe to protect against potential attacks from Iran. The threat from Iran is only going to grow in the years ahead. We need to take steps now to prepare to deal with that threat,Frist, R-Tenn., said in a letter to the president. The time has come to revive and reinvigorate discussions with allies in Europe that have previously expressed interest in hosting these interceptors at a third site on their territory, said Frist, who is retiring from the Senate and is considering running for president in 2008.The United States has interceptor missiles buried in California and Alaska to counter potential threats from the Pacific, including from North Korea.

The Bush administration has spent more than a year negotiating with several European allies to find a third site for the ground-based interceptor missiles, including discussions last year with Poland. For the budget year that begins Oct. 1, the U.S. Missile Defense Agency requested $61 million to produce 10 more interceptor
missiles and $56 million to prepare for a third site. There has been no final decision on where that site may be, said Rick Lehner, an agency spokesman. In the letter, Frist sought to send a signal to Iran that the United States is committed to countering that country's nuclear ambitions. At the same time, the potential presidential candidate aimed to show that he's strong on national defense, which could be a major issue in the White House race two years from now.Putting interceptor missiles at a site in Europe would significantly enhance the United States' ability to protect against ballistic missiles launched from Iran, Frist said in the letter.

As Iran continues to make progress in deploying its Shahab 3 missiles and developing new, longer range missiles, while simultaneously pursuing nuclear weapons, the ability to shoot down Iranian warheads in flight becomes increasingly critical to our national security,Frist said. His comments came as the United States and European allies continue their efforts to persuade Tehran to roll back its uranium enrichment program that can produce fuel for nuclear power generators or the material for nuclear warheads.Iran insists that its program is peaceful.

EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

ZEPHANIAH 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

EU Opens Up Its Defense Market to

BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP)— The European Union announced the opening of member nations' arms industries to cross-border competition Friday in an effort to increase the transparency of arms deals and broaden business opportunities for defense companies. Twenty-two European Union nations have signed up to a voluntary code on defense purchases that will come into force Saturday, the European armaments agency said.

Only Spain, Hungary and Denmark are not taking part. Denmark decided in the early 1990s not to participate in the EU's defense and security policy and has a general opt-out from some EU defense operations.Defense equipment contracts will be posted on an electronic bulletin board, which will be operated by the European Defense
Agency. Transparent criteria will be set for selecting bidders and awarding contracts, said Nick Witney, chief executive of the armaments agency. He said he hoped the plan would instantly attract bids.EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said the new rules were a remarkable achievement. For the first time ever, European countries have committed to procure defense equipment from each other if the offer is the best available, instead of automatically contracting with a national supplier, Solana said.EU governments have been able to protect their national defense industries because military contracts have been largely excluded from EU legislation that has torn down barriers to trade within the European Union in other sectors. The EU's defense market is worth about $39 billion a year.

EU officials say more than half the annual spending on new military equipment in the European Union currently lies outside EU free market rules. Ministers hope increased competition will drive down prices for new weapons.By allowing companies to compete more in each others' markets, the EU hopes to encourage a restructuring of the continent's fractured industry so it is better placed to take on international rivals. The rules will apply to defense contracts over 1 million euros ($1.3 million), but exemptions will be allowed if continuing operations dictate that nations need especially quick supply.Witney said he regretted Spain's and Hungary's decisions not to participate, but expressed hope both countries will join in the future. The market we're talking about will be a little smaller than it otherwise would have been. But Spain has indicated this is not a decision forever. The Hungarians spoke of their decision being ... for the time being, Witney said.
