Bill Cosby rape accuser says comedian demanded she style hair like Queen Noor while smearing oatmeal on her face in alleged 1980 assault-BY Nancy Dillon-NEW YORK DAILY NEWS-Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 4:46 PM
An accuser known only as Patricia came forward Tuesday to speak out about her allegation that Bill Cosby raped her in 1980.A Bill Cosby accuser has stepped from the shadows and reportedly claims the comedian raped her in 1980 after creepily demanding she style her hair to look like Queen Noor of Jordan while smearing oatmeal on her face. “He was obsessed with her,” the new accuser told BuzzFeed News, referring to the beautiful American who wed King Hussein in 1978.A former aspiring actress identified only as Patricia, the new accuser said Cosby made his curious coiffing request when he invited her to a taping of a TV show hosted by Dinah Shore.Cosby went out of his way to send a particular photo of Queen Noor with her golden hair in a teased bun so Patricia could replicate the style at a salon, Patricia told BuzzFeed. She willingly drank something he gave her as they engaged in some bizarre acting improvisation exercises that involved her pretending to be a queen while she had oatmeal on her face, she reportedly said.Patricia was one of 13 women identified as Jane Doe witnesses in Andrea Constand’s 2005 lawsuit against Cosby, according to BuzzFeed.Constand, a Temple University Employee, said in her blockbuster civil claim that Cosby drugged and molested her in 2004. Patricia reportedly was ready to testify under oath about her own experience before the Constand case settled out of court. She decided to tell her story publicly to encourage the other Jane Does to do the same, she said.“You’re not alone,” Patricia reportedly said. “You don’t have to keep this a secret anymore.”Now 58 and living in Northern California, Patricia told BuzzFeed she first met Cosby while working at the University of Massachusetts as a conference planner after graduating in 1978 with a degree in voice.Cosby had a doctorate from the university and asked her out following an event when she was 22 and he was a 40-something married man with kids, she said.Patricia recalled feeling flattered when he offered to mentor her and how she naively ignored her internal “alarm bells” when he invited her over for dinner one night and led her to an intimate table for two in front of his fireplace. She also says that Bill Cosby smeared oatmeal on her face to see if she could stay regal during bizarre improv session. “He told me to convince him that I could remain regal and queen-like no matter what I looked like,” she said. She later felt strange from the drink, blacked out, and woke up naked in Cosby’s guest bedroom with the robe-clad comedian claiming he had to remove her dress because she threw up, she told BuzzFeed.Patricia said she believed Cosby’s account of what happened and felt ashamed about her behavior, according to the news website. She said Cosby continued to pursue her and even arranged for her to take acting lessons and join gym to lose weight. She later joined Cosby at the Basketball Hall of Fame enshrinement of Wilt Chamberlain and accepted the invitation to the Dinah Shore taping, she claimed. She blacked out again and woke up the next morning naked with her hair and makeup ruined, the website reported.“I was very sick and knew that someone had penetrated me,” she told BuzzFeed.Patricia said Cosby turned furious when she confronted him and threw her out of his suite. She kept quiet for years because she felt partially responsible for what happened and thought no one would believe her, she said.More than 30 women have gone public in recent months with accusations that Cosby secretly assaulted them during his storied career in scary scenarios ranging from drugging and fondling to rape.He has not addressed the claims publicly, but his lawyer and wife have issued statements questioning some of the women’s reliability and motives.Attempts to reach lawyer Martin Singer were not immediately successful Tuesday.Patricia said she was victimized by Cosby because she trusted the wrong person and allowed her ambition to lead her into positions of vulnerability.“But what Cosby did was without my consent and a violation,” she told BuzzFeed.firstname.lastname@example.org
Cosby accuser asks for entire deposition to be made public-Reuters-july 9,15-yahoonews
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A Canadian woman at the center of sexual assault allegations against comedian Bill Cosby accused him on Wednesday of violating a confidentiality agreement in their 2005 lawsuit, and asked a court to make public his entire testimony.Andrea Constand, a former Temple University employee, filed court papers in Pennsylvania district court, also accusing Cosby and his advisers of manipulating the media through interviews and statements about the slew of sex assault allegations against him.The lawsuit was filed two days after a Pennsylvania judge unsealed testimony in Constand's 2005 civil lawsuit against Cosby, in which the actor said he had obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving the sedatives to young women in order to have sex with them. The case was settled in 2006 for an undisclosed sum and both Cosby and Constand signed confidentiality agreements. In the past year some 40 other women have come forward accusing the star of TV comedy series "The Cosby Show" of drugging and sexually assaulting them in incidents dating back decades.Constand said in Wednesday's court filing that Cosby was questioned about other sexual allegations at the time and that the women involved had a right to hear what he said about them then and "a right to determine what if anything can be used as evidence in their respective cases."Constand, a former basketball player from Toronto, asked the court to have Cosby's "entire deposition and settlement agreement released to the public."She said that while she has remained silent, "Cosby himself has given a rather incoherent interview and used members of his family and others as surrogates to speak for him."Cosby has never been criminally charged, and most of the allegations exceed the statute of limitations. His attorneys have consistently denied the accusations. They could not immediately be reached for comment on Wednesday.A spokeswoman for the Creative Artists Agency said on Wednesday the firm had parted ways with Cosby months ago, but she declined to say why.Cosby has said little directly about the accusations, but he told the audience at one of his shows in Florida last year that he would not reply to "innuendos."(Reporting by Jill Serjeant; Additional reporting by Curtis Skinner in San Francisco; Editing by Eric Walsh)
