HANIYEH-THANK NOSE PICKER MOON GOD ALLAH FOR MY FAMILY BEING MARTYRS FOR THE CAUSE OF ISLAM.

COUNTRIES WITH ISRAEL AND THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL AND THE WEST

EZEKIEL 38:10-19
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say,(RUSSIA,ARAB,MUSLIMS) I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan,(SAUDIA ARABIA)(JORDAN) and the merchants of Tarshish,(ENGLAND) with all the young lions thereof,(USA,CANADA,AUSTRALIA,NEW ZEALAND,EU,ENGLAND,ENGLISH SPEAKING shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
PSALMS 83:3-7 (COUNTRIES AGAINST ISRAEL)(EXCEPT JORDAN)
3 They (ARABS,MUSLIMS) have taken crafty counsel against thy people,(ISRAEL) and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they (MUSLIMS) have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:(TREATIES)
6 The tabernacles of Edom,(JORDAN) and the Ishmaelites;(ARABS) of Moab, PALESTINIANS,JORDAN) and the Hagarenes;(EGYPT)
7 Gebal,(HEZZBALLOH,LEBANON) and Ammon,(JORDAN) and Amalek;(SYRIA,ARABS,SINAI) the Philistines (PALESTINIANS) with the inhabitants of Tyre;(LEBANON)
ISRAEL-WEST ENEMIES EZEK 38:4-6,15-19
4 And I (GOD) will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,(GOD FORCES THE RUSSIA-MUSLIMS TO MARCH) and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia,(IRAN,IRAQ) Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer,(GERMANY) and all his bands; the house of Togarmah (TURKEY) of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.(AFRICAN MUSLIMS,SUDAN,TUNESIA ETC)
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts,(RUSSIA-ARAB/MUSLIMS) thou, and many people with thee,(AFRICAN ISLAMIC COUNTRIES) all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
DANIEL 11:44 (CHINA WITH RUSSIA-MUSLIMS)
44 But tidings out of the east(CHINA) and out of the north(RUSSIA, MUSLIMS WHATS LEFT FROM WAVE 1) shall trouble him:(EU DICTATOR IN ISRAEL) therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.( 1/3RD OF EARTHS POPULATION)
EZEKIEL 39:1-6 ISRAELS ENEMIES DESTROYED

2 And I will turn thee back,(RUSSIA-ARAB MUSLIM ISRAEL HATERS) and leave but the sixth part of thee,(5/6TH OR 300 MILLION DEAD RUSSIAN/ARAB/MUSLIMS I BELIEVE) and will cause thee to come up from the north parts,(RUSSIA) and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands,( ARABS) and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog,(NUCLEAR ATOMIC BOMB) and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

And here are the bounderies of the land that Israel will inherit either through war or peace or God in the future. God says its Israels land and only Israels land. They will have every inch God promised them of this land in the future.

14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

DANIEL CHAPTER 9:24-27 EXPLAINED.
24 Seventy weeks (70X7=490 YEARS) are determined upon thy people (ISRAEL) and upon thy holy city,(JERUSALEM) to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.(JESUS ANNOINTED WITH HOLY OIL AS KING OF JERUSALEM FOREVER).
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, (7X7=49 YEARS) and threescore and two weeks:(62X7=434 YEARS) the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.(490-49-434=7 YR PERIOD WERE GOD DEALS WITH ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM (NOT THE CHURCH-THE TRUE CHURCH IS IS IN HEAVEN WITH JESUS FOR THAT LAST 7 YEAR PERIOD.)(DANIEL 9:26-27 IS IN THE FUTURE WHEN GOD DEALS ON EARTH WITH ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM FOR THAT FINAL 7 TEAR PERIOD. WHEN ALL OF ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED BY MESSIAH JESUS.)(AT THE END OF IT)
26 And after threescore and two weeks (69X7=483 YEARS)(ONE 7 YEAR PERIOD UNTIL PROPHECY IS FULFILLED) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince (ROMANS) that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;(2ND TEMPLE AND JERUSALEM) and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.(NOW THE FINAL ISRAEL-JERUSALEM COUNTDOWN FOR MESSIAH JESUS RETURN THE LAST 7 YEARS)
27 And he (HE WHO? HE HERE IS THE REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE LEADER THAT MAKES THE FINAL 7 YR CONTRACT WITH ISRAEL AND MANY MUSLIM COUNTRIES FOR A 7 YR PERIOD, AND THE EU WILL GUARENTEE ISRAELS SECURITY FOR THIS LAST PERIOD) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: (7 YEARS) and in the midst of the week (3 1/2 YEARS IN) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (THIS FALSE MESSIAH OR ROMAN LEADER STOPS THE ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN THE 3RD TEMPLE AT THE MIDPOINT OF THE 7 YR DEAL. A JEW MURDERS HIM WITH A SWORD WOUND AND HE HAS A FALSE RESSURECTION-SATAN INCARNATES IN HIS BODY. AND BRINGS HIM BACK TO LIFE.AND HE THEN SITS IN THE 3RD TEMPLE CALLING HIMSELF GOD AS THE WORLD SAYS HES JESUS REINCARNATED. AND BY THIS FALSE RESURRECTION GOD SENDS THIS STRONG DELUTION ON THE EARTH THAT ALL THE LOST WILL WORSHIP THIS ROMAN LEADER AS GOD AND ACCEPT HIS NAME, NUMBER OR NUMBER OF HIS NAME IN THEIR MICROCHIP IMPLANT. THAT THEY MIGHT BE DOOMED, DAMNED TO THE LAKE OF FIRE FOREVER. WHO WORSHIPS THIS ROMAN LEADER AS GOD.) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.(WARS NON STOP DURING THE LAST 3 1/2 YEARS OF THE 7 YEAR PERIOD.

Heres the scripture 1 week = 7 yrs Genesis 29:27-28 (FROM DAN 9:27)
27 Fulfil her week,(7 YEARS) and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years.
28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week:(7 YEARS) and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:3

PM, defense minister reportedly not consulted in advance-Israel kills 3 sons of Hamas chief Haniyeh in Gaza strike, says they were terrorists-IDF says relatives were ‘en route to carry out terror activity’; 4 grandchildren also killed; Qatar-based terror chief tells Al Jazeera he thanks God ‘for honor of their martyrdom’By Emanuel Fabian,Gianluca Pacchiani-and Agencies 10 April 2024, 8:04 pm

Israel on Wednesday killed three sons of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in a strike in the northern Gaza Strip, saying they were operatives in the terror group. Four of Haniyeh’s grandchildren, three girls and a boy, were also killed in the attack, Hamas said. The three sons — Hazem, Amir and Mohammad — were killed after the car they were driving in was struck in Gaza City’s Shati camp, Hamas said. The deaths were first reported by Al Jazeera and then confirmed by Haniyeh himself and Hamas. The IDF and Shin Bet later confirmed killing the three men, saying they were operatives in the terror group. According to the IDF and Shin Bet, Amir Haniyeh was a squad commander in the Hamas military wing, while Hazem and Mohammad Haniyeh were lower-ranking operatives, also in the military wing. The IDF said that the trio were “en route to carry out terror activity in the area of central Gaza” when they were struck.Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas who is largely based in Qatar, confirmed their deaths in comments to Al Jazeera, telling the news outlet that he “thank[s] God for bestowing upon us the honor of their martyrdom.”In a phone interview broadcast on the TV network, the terror leader vowed that the group will not surrender, and that such actions will not make it change its goals and its demands in hostage release talks.“Their pure blood is for the liberation of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and we will continue to march on our road, and will not hesitate and will not falter,” Haniyeh said. “With their blood, we bring about hope, a future and freedom for our people and our cause.”“Our demands are clear and specific and we will not make concessions on them. The enemy will be delusional if it thinks that targeting my sons, at the climax of the negotiations and before the movement sends its response, will push Hamas to change its position,” he told the TV station, adding that “the blood of my sons is not dearer than the blood of our people.”According to Hebrew media reports, the strike on Haniyeh’s three sons was approved by a colonel in the IDF’s Southern Command and was not discussed in the war cabinet ahead of time, despite the sensitive timing as Israel is still awaiting an official Hamas response to the latest hostage deal offer. An Israeli official told The Times of Israel that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant were not informed in advance of the strike. A source quoted by the Kan public broadcaster warned the strike could jeopardize the ongoing talks. The broadcaster also said the IDF alleged one of Haniyeh’s sons was involved in holding hostages, but did not specify which.A video circulating online purports to show the moment Haniyeh is told of his sons’ deaths while visiting a hospital in Qatar. He calmly praises God and then suggests the tour continue on to the next room. It is not clear whether the video was genuine or staged. The moment Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh is told Israel assаssinаtеd his children and grandchildren pic.twitter.com/gamfNnHV2o— What the media hides. (@narrative_hole) April 10, 2024-Haniyeh, a father of 13, told Al Jazeera that nearly 60 members of his family had been “martyred” in the war, and that he has paid the same price as the rest of the Palestinian people. His eldest son confirmed in a Facebook post that his three brothers were killed. “Thanks to God who honored us by the martyrdom of my brothers, Hazem, Amir and Mohammad and their children,” wrote Abdel-Salam Haniyeh. An Al Jazeera report claimed that the three men were struck by a missile launched from a drone as they were traveling in a car on their way to congratulate relatives and acquaintances on the occasion of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, which began Tuesday evening.Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered condolences in a phone call to Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh after the death of his three sons in Gaza, his office said. Erdogan told Haniyeh, “Israel will definitely be held accountable before the law for the crimes against humanity it committed,” the presidency said in a statement on social media.Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi also sent condolences to Haniyeh, the official state-run news agency IRNA reported. Raisi “expressed deep sorrow” over his sons’ deaths, the report said. Hamas said that Haniyeh also received messages of condolence from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as well as Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.Appointed to head the terror group in 2017, Haniyeh has moved between Turkey and Qatar’s capital Doha, and has emerged as the most prominent negotiator in the latest ongoing round of talks for a truce and hostage release deal. Israel sent a delegation to talks in Cairo this week, while Hamas representatives have also been in the Egyptian capital for negotiations. While some officials have expressed optimism that a deal could be reached after months of stalled talks, so far Hamas appears to be sticking to its demand that the war end before it agrees to release any of the hostages the terror group kidnapped from Israel on October 7 who are still being held in the Strip. Israel has outright rejected such a demand.Thousands of Hamas terrorists poured across the border with Israel in a mass assault on October 7, killing close to 1,200 people and kidnapping 253 to Gaza. During a weeklong truce in late November, 105 of the hostages were released, four were freed earlier and three have been rescued alive by troops, while the bodies of 12 hostages have been recovered. The IDF believes that 129 of those kidnapped remain in the Strip, including at least 34 bodies.During Israel’s ensuing war against Hamas in Gaza, the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says more than 33,000 people have been killed in the fighting, an unverified figure that includes some 13,000 Hamas gunmen Israel says it has killed in battle. The IDF says it killed 1,000 Hamas and other terrorists inside Israel on and immediately after October 7. Since the IDF ground invasion began, 260 IDF soldiers have been killed in the fighting.Last week, Haniyeh said that the terror group was not prepared to budge on any of the conditions it had previously laid out, declaring in a televised speech that “we are committed to our demands: the permanent ceasefire, comprehensive and complete withdrawal of the enemy out of the Gaza Strip, the return of all displaced people to their homes, allowing all aid needed for our people in Gaza, rebuilding the Strip, lifting the blockade and achieving an honorable prisoner exchange deal.”Earlier this month, police in Israel arrested Haniyeh’s sister, an Israeli citizen living in Tel Sheva. Three of the Hamas leader’s sisters live in the southern town and were married to Arab Israelis. Two are now widowed and have fallen foul of Israeli authorities in the past by making illegal trips into Gaza in 2013 via Egypt. They were both given eight-month suspended sentences for the visits in 2015. Later that year, Israel denied Haniyeh’s request that his sisters be permitted to attend his son’s wedding in Gaza.Times of Israel staff contributed to this report.

After ISIS attack in Moscow, FBI chief warns similar plans may be brewing in US-Christopher Wray set to tell Congress that never in his career have threats to public safety and national security been so significant-By Andrew Goudsward Today, 3:13 pm-APR 11,24

WASHINGTON, DC (Reuters) — The FBI is concerned about the possibility of an organized attack in the United States similar to the one that killed scores of people at a Russian concert hall last month, the bureau’s director is set to tell a House of Representatives panel on Thursday.“Looking back over my career in law enforcement, I’d be hard-pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated all at once,” Christopher Wray is planning to tell lawmakers during a budget hearing. “But that is the case as I sit here today.”The March 22 attack on a concert hall in suburban Moscow killed at least 144 people, the deadliest in Russia in 20 years. A branch of the Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility, but Russian President Vladimir Putin, without citing evidence, has sought to blame Ukraine.US officials have been worried about the possibility of an attack carried out by an individual or small group inspired by the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. But the FBI is growing concerned about a more coordinated attack following the concert massacre in Russia, Wray will say during testimony.Of increasing concern “is the potential for a coordinated attack here in the homeland, akin to the ISIS-K attack we saw at the Russia Concert Hall a couple weeks ago,” he will say.Wray also plans to press lawmakers to renew a US surveillance program set to expire this month, calling it an indispensable tool against US adversaries. A modest overhaul of that program was blocked in the House on Wednesday amid concerns from members of both parties that it did not go far enough in curbing the government’s surveillance powers.“It’s critical in securing our nation, and we’re in crunch time,” Wray plans to tell lawmakers.

IDF launches ‘targeted operation’ in central Gaza’s Nuseirat after heavy bombardment-Military: Strikes on dozens of targets based on intelligence of ‘terror infrastructure’ in area largely passed over by soldiers until now; troops also find several rocket launchers By Emanuel Fabian Today, 2:32 pm-APR 11

The IDF said Thursday it launched a “targeted operation” against Hamas in the central Gaza Strip overnight, pushing into an area on the outskirts of the Nuseirat refugee camp largely left untouched by troops until now.Heavy airstrikes and artillery shelling pounded parts of the camp before troops moved into the area, which sits adjacent to the lone corridor where Israeli soldiers remain in Gaza.Palestinians said a strike on a residential building killed at least five people, and other apartment towers were also struck. The Israel Defense Forces said the air force and artillery troops carried out strikes against dozens of Hamas targets, including tunnel infrastructure.  The navy also carried out artillery strikes near the coast to support ground troops, the IDF said. The operation followed intelligence indicating “the presence of terror infrastructure and many terrorists in the area,” the army said.Soldiers engaged with armed fighters during the night, including a gunman who emerged from a tunnel and was hit with an airstrike, according to the IDF. Troops also located several rocket launchers in the area.Hamas-linked media reported heavy fighting in the area was continuing Thursday. There were also reports of airstrikes in other parts of the Strip, particularly the south, with the Palestinian Maan News Agency reporting that 122 people were killed in Gaza over the previous 24 hours.Israel has not previously operated on the ground in Nuseirat, though last month Hamas’s third-in-command, Marwan Issa, was killed in an airstrike in the area. The operation occurred as Israel has appeared to dial back the use of ground troops and shift from a wide-scale offensive to pinpoint operations. This was in line with US demands for changes to the way fighting is taking place amid international concern over the deaths of civilians in the Strip and claims of near-famine conditions.Just one brigade — comprising several thousand troops — remains in the Strip, where it is holding an east-west corridor that essentially splits the enclave into two.At the height of the IDF’s offensive against Hamas, it had multiple divisions — with roughly 30,000-40,000 troops — in the Strip.Israeli officials have said that 18 of Hamas’s 24 original battalions in the Gaza Strip have been dismantled, meaning they do not function as an organized military unit, although smaller cells still exist.Four Hamas battalions remain virtually untouched in southern Gaza’s Rafah, and another two are in the central part of the Strip, according to Israeli assessments.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said he approved the military’s plans for an operation in Rafah, although he has not given the green light to carry them out.The planned Rafah offensive has caused intense consternation in the international community, including in the US and Egypt, due to the southern Gaza City now hosting more than a million Palestinians displaced from elsewhere in the Strip. Israel has said it is making plans to evacuate and protect civilians from Rafah as part of its offensive plans. The war erupted when thousands of Hamas terrorists poured across the border with Israel in a mass assault on October 7 during which they killed almost 1.200 people and abducted 253.Israel responded with a military offensive to destroy Hamas and free the hostages, half of whom remain in captivity in Gaza. The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says more than 33,000 people have been killed in the fighting, an unverified figure that includes some 13,000 Hamas gunmen Israel says it has killed in battle. The IDF says it killed 1,000 Hamas and other terrorists inside Israel on and immediately after October 7.

'Anyone who hits us, we hit them' Netanyahu hints at retaliation if Iran attacks, as CENTCOM chief lands in Israel-Premier tells F-15 pilots military is ‘ready to fulfill our responsibilities to Israel’s security, in defense and attack’; Kurilla to meet Gallant, senior IDF officials-By ToI Staff and Agencies Today, 3:24 pm-APR 11,24

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday appeared to reiterate his warning to Iran that Israel would retaliate if attacked, as the head of US Central Command (CENTCOM) Gen. Michael Kurilla arrived in Israel reportedly to discuss what US intelligence officials have described as an “imminent” threat from Tehran.“We are in challenging times. We are in the midst of a war in Gaza that is continuing with full force. In addition, we are continuing with ceaseless efforts to return our hostages, but we are also preparing for challenges from other fronts,” Netanyahu told pilots as he visited an F-15 base.Iran has repeatedly vowed to retaliate for an alleged Israeli strike last week on a consular building in its Damascus embassy complex, which killed two generals among several Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officers. That incident came amid spiraling violence on Israel’s northern border due to near-daily attacks by the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group since October 8.“We set a simple principle: Anyone who hits us, we hit them,” Netanyahu said in apparent reference to Iranian threats to carry out strikes against Israel. “We are ready to fulfill our responsibilities to Israel’s security, in defense and attack.”“I, and the whole of Israel, trust you,” he said to the F-15 pilots, wishing them “much success.”Israel’s F-15 fleet is the Air Force’s primary weapon for long-range strikes. Also Thursday, CENTCOM chief Kurilla was expected to meet with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and senior IDF officials. The Axios website, which first reported on Kurilla’s expected visit Wednesday, said that US and Israeli officials across various agencies have been in contact over the last few days as the countries prepare for a possible Iranian response to the April 1 strike.A senior Israeli official told Axios that Israel has asked the US to help limit the Iranian response by sending public and private warnings to Iran and also by using its military presence in the area as a diplomatic lever.Meanwhile, Army Radio reported Thursday that the Israeli Air Force has recently practiced carrying out long-range strikes during exercises in Cypriot airspace and in coordination with the local military. The exercise was intended to practice for a strike on Iran, the report said, without citing sources. It marked a return by the IAF to preparing for a confrontation with Iran after being tied up with operations amid the ongoing war with in the Gaza Strip, sparked by Hamas’s October 7 massacre, and the resulting skirmishes on the northern border.A senior IDF official was quoted as saying that the military “knows how and is ready to act in any arena while maintaining independent abilities to act on our own. We don’t rely on anyone.”The reports came as US President Joe Biden reiterated America’s commitment to Israeli security in the face of threats from Iran.Speaking at a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio in the White House’s Rose Garden, Biden told reporters Wednesday that “we also addressed the Iranian threat, as they threaten to launch a significant attack on Israel.”“As I told Prime Minister Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel’s security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad,” said Biden. “Let me say it again, ironclad. We’re going to do all we can to protect Israel’s security.”The Bloomberg news agency reported Wednesday the US believes a major Iranian attack on Israel is imminent and could involve high-precision missiles and drones targeting military and government sites in Israel.Earlier Wednesday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei told a crowd in Tehran that “the evil regime made a mistake and must be punished, and it shall be,” referring to the attack in Damascus. One of those killed was Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a senior commander in the Quds Force for Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps’ foreign arm, who led its operations in Syria and was said to be a member of a top decision-making panel in Hezbollah. A Hezbollah member was also killed.Following Khamenei’s speech, Gallant and Foreign Minister Israel Katz both threatened that if Iran launched an attack from its own soil then Israel would strike back inside Iran. However, unnamed US intelligence sources told CNN in a Monday report that Iran is unlikely to attack Israel directly out of fear of American and Israeli reprisal, and will instead urge its various proxies in the region to launch attacks on its behalf in the coming days.Iran-backed terror groups have entered the fray across the region amid the ongoing war between Israel and the Hamas, including rocket fire from Lebanon by Hezbollah and months of Yemen-based Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.War erupted in Gaza on October 7 when Hamas led a devastating cross-border attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people, amid numerous atrocities. Israel responded with a military campaign to destroy Hamas and free the 253 hostages who were abducted during the attack and taken to Gaza, some half of whom remain in captivity.Meanwhile, CENTCOM said Thursday that its forces had successfully engaged three unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen over the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea.There were no injuries or damage reported by US, coalition, or commercial ships, the statement added.US forces also destroyed eight UAVs in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, the statement said.

With Knesset in wartime recess, attendance becomes a political weapon-Despite mutual recriminations over attendance, MK Evgeny Sova says ‘in practice there isn’t that much of a recess,’ noting daily committee meetings over legislative break-By Sam Sokol-10 April 2024, 7:25 pm

Amid mass protests and fierce political opposition, the Knesset went on recess on Sunday, ostensibly giving lawmakers six weeks of time off in the middle of both a two-front shooting war and a burgeoning coalition crisis. But while the legislature is technically no longer in session, many committees are still holding hearings. Now the identity of those present or absent from the building has become a tool for point-scoring between members of the coalition and opposition.Speaking at the end of the winter session last Thursday, several lawmakers critical of the decision to halt legislative activity amid the war told The Times of Israel that they intended to remain present over the break.“We’re not going on vacation,” declared MK Pnina Tamano-Shata, chair of the Committee on the Status of Women and Gender Equality. “I already have hearings next week.”While Yisrael Beytenu MK Evgeny Sova said it was unfortunate that the parliament’s House Committee voted to approve the break, “in practice, there isn’t that much of a recess because next week we have at least three days or parliamentary work in the Knesset.”The main issue with the recess is that there are no plenum deliberations or votes, and thus no passing of legislation, but otherwise “I’m coming in as normal and continuing to work,” Sova pledged.Plenum discussions and voting can still be held during the recess on urgent matters in specially called sessions.Arguing that it was “neither reasonable nor logical” for lawmakers to take time off while 134 Israelis are held hostage in Gaza and Hezbollah rockets fall on the north, hawkish opposition politician Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu party lobbied hard to allow the lawmakers to continue their normal legislative and oversight activities during the recess, which runs from April 7 to May 19.Many members of the public agreed, with tens of thousands gathering in front of the Knesset last week to demand that as long as Israel’s hostages and soldiers do not receive a recess, neither should lawmakers.Asked how it plans on operating during the recess, a Yisrael Beytenu spokesman stated that his party had not given up on holding plenum sessions, stating that it was currently gathering MKs’ signatures in order to force “an urgent discussion in the Knesset plenum on the issue of Israel’s security policy in the face of Iranian threats.”Such rhetoric has drawn scorn from some members of the coalition, with MK Simcha Rothman, head of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, dismissing talk of working through the break as disingenuous.“There are those who put up signs that they don’t have a break, and there are those who really don’t have a break,” Rothman tweeted, arguing that members of his hard-right Religious Zionism party were among the “most active” in the Knesset.Rothman was referencing a series of tweets by Yesh Atid MKs in which they posted photos of signs on their office doors declaring that they would work through the break.“During a war, when fighters have no rest, we will also be here,” wrote MK Ron Katz in a tweet typical of the party’s messaging. Also critical of Yesh Atid’s stance was Likud MK Keti Shitrit — one of the lowest-ranking MKs in terms of attendance — who shot a video of herself knocking on Yesh Atid lawmakers’ doors, presumably to show that they were not present.According to the resolution passed by the Knesset House Committee last month, Knesset committees will be allowed to meet four times each during the recess, while the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will have no limitations placed on its activities.Over the past four days, lawmakers have attended multiple hearings held by several different committees, including a preliminary discussion to prepare for the first reading of a bill to ban the UN agency UNRWA from operating on Israeli territory.Yesh Atid, whose chairman Yair Lapid left on a trip to Washington over the weekend, bragged about its MKs’ attendance in an English-language Twitter thread on Thursday.“Knesset Recess? Maybe for the coalition. But not for Yesh Atid,” it stated, noting that several of its lawmakers had attended sessions of the Knesset Committee on the Status of Women and the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee as well as engaging in other work-related activities.    ???????? Knesset Recess? Maybe for the coalition. But not for Yesh Atid.MKs @Meravbenari @simondav14 @YSegalovitz @Vladim irBeliak @Yasminsfridman @MattiSarfatti and @MosheTurpaz took part in a hearing of the Knesset Committee on the Status of Women. pic.twitter.com/S9qX8PZxxU— Yesh Atid English ???? (@YeshAtidEnglish) April 10, 2024-However, regardless of political orientation, Knesset attendance has plummeted since the beginning of the recess, with only 21 lawmakers physically present in the building on Wednesday afternoon — seven of them from the opposition and 14 from the coalition — giving each side ammunition to attack the other.

Rocket fired at Kiryat Shmona as UN peacekeepers on Lebanon border fear escalation-IDF says it intercepted missile heading for northern border town; Lebanese man accused of funneling Iranian cash to Hamas found dead; UNIFIL urges diplomatic solution-By Emanuel Fabian and Agencies 10 April 2024, 4:48 pm

The Israel Defense Forces said Wednesday it had intercepted a rocket fired from Lebanon at the northern border city of Kiryat Shmona, as United Nations peacekeepers stationed along border warned that the ongoing violence between Israel and terror group Hezbollah could dangerously escalate. The incoming missile was shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system, the IDF said.Sirens sounded in Kiryat Shmona and nearby communities, though there were no reports of damage or injuries. The head of the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon expressed worries that hostilities on the border with Israel will continue to spiral out of control, calling for a diplomatic solution to the conflict.“The danger of escalation is real,” Aroldo Lazaro said in a statement posted by UNIFIL. “There is no military solution to the current confrontation and violence; a political and diplomatic solution is the only way forward.”The statement did not mention Hezbollah’s violations of UN Resolution 1701, which requires that the group’s armed wing not be allowed to operate in southern Lebanon.Israel has threatened to go to war to force the Iran-backed terror group away from the border if it does not retreat in line with that resolution and continues to threaten northern communities, from where some 70,000 people were evacuated to avoid the fighting.Since October 8, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a daily basis with rockets, drones, anti-tank missiles, and other means, with the group saying it is doing so to support Gaza amid the war there. Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy in Lebanon and Palestinian terror groups Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are backed by Iran. The IDF has regularly responded with strikes in Lebanon. The war in Gaza erupted with Hamas’s October 7 massacre, which saw some 3,000 terrorists burst across the border into southern Israel by land, air, and sea, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages.Vowing to destroy Hamas, Israel launched a wide-scale military campaign in Gaza to destroy Hamas and free the hostages, of whom 129 remain in captivity, some no longer alive. As the clashes in the north continued, a Lebanese man under US sanctions for allegedly funneling money from Iran to Hamas was killed just outside Beirut, a security source told AFP.The body of Mohammad Sarur was found Tuesday in a villa in the mountain town of Beit Mery, the source said, requesting anonymity as they were not authorized to speak to the media. He had been struck by more than five bullets and was found in possession of an undisclosed sum of money that the killers did not touch, the source added. #BRE AKING:  Mohammad Sarur, who was sanctioned by the U.S. government in 2019 for transferring tens of millions of dollars from #IRGCterrorists to #Hamas' Izz-Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, was found dead in Beit Mery today. He also liaised with #Hezbollah. It appears Nili continues… pic.twitter.com/eKzhYivE75 — Jason Brodsky (@JasonMBrodsky) April 10, 2024-Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported late Tuesday that the body of a 57-year-old Lebanese man, identified by initials that correspond to Sarur’s, had been found in an area near Beit Mery. The security source confirmed to AFP that Sarur worked for financial institutions belonging to Hezbollah. In August 2019, the US Treasury announced sanctions against several people including Sarur, accusing them of funneling “tens of millions of dollars” from the foreign operations arm of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards through Hezbollah in Lebanon “to Hamas for terrorist attacks originating from the Gaza Strip.”The Treasury said Sarur “served as a middleman” between the Guards’ Quds Force and Hamas “and worked with Hezbollah operatives to ensure funds were provided” to Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz-a-Din al-Qassam Brigades.“As of 2014, Sarur was identified as in charge of all money transfers” between the Quds Force and the Qassam Brigades, the Treasury added. Some 3,100 rockets, missiles, and drones have been launched from Lebanon at northern Israel since the beginning of the war in Gaza. Another 35 have been fired from Syria, according to the IDF.Around 4,700 Hezbollah positions have been hit by the IDF, according to the military. So far, the skirmishes on the border have resulted in eight civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of 10 IDF soldiers and reservists. There have also been several attacks from Syria, without any injuries.Hezbollah has named 273 members who have been killed by Israel during the ongoing skirmishes, mostly in Lebanon but some also in Syria. In Lebanon, another 53 operatives from other terror groups, a Lebanese soldier, and at least 60 civilians, three of whom were journalists, have been killed. Tensions in the region have been high since an alleged Israeli strike in Damascus last week killed seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members, among them a senior Quds Force commander, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi. Iran has vowed revenge. The Iran-backed Hezbollah has said it supports Iran’s right to “punish” Israel, and in televised remarks on Friday, its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, said a response was coming.

GENESIS 6:11-13
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.(WORLD TERRORISM,MURDERS)(HAMAS IN HEBREW IS VIOLENCE)
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence (TERRORISM)(HAMAS) through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

LUKE 21:11
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences;(BIOLOGICAL/CHEMICAL/NUCLEAR) and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.(1/2-3 BILLION DIE IN WW3)

Leviticus 26:15-17 (KJV)
15-and if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16-I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17-And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

Job 22:4-22 (KJV)
4-Will he reprove you for fear of you? will he enter with you into judgment?
5-Is not your wickedness great? and your iniquities without end?
6-For you have taken a pledge from your brother for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
7-You have not given water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
8-But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honorable man dwelt in it.
9-You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
10-Therefore snares are round about you, and sudden fear troubles you;
11-Or darkness, that you can not see; and abundance of waters cover you.
12-Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!
13-And you say, How does God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?
14-Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he sees not; and he walks in the circle of heaven.
15-Have you marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?
16-Who were cut down before their time, whose foundation was swept away with a flood:
17-Who said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do to us?
18-Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
19-The righteous see it, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.
20-Surely our substance is not cut down, but the remnant of them the fire consumes.
21-Acquaint now yourself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto you.
22-Receive, I pray you, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in your heart.

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they(False World Church and Dictator) have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Senior commander in Hezbollah’s elite force killed in IDF strike-Ali Ahmed Hassin, a Radwan field commander, had been tasked with attacks on Ramim Ridge area in northern Israel amid war; explosive-laden drone hits near Rosh Hanikra-By Emanuel Fabian
Today, 12:24 pm

The Israel Defense Forces early Monday eliminated a senior field commander in Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force in southern Lebanon, the military and the terror group said.Ali Ahmed Hassin, according to the IDF, held a rank equivalent to a brigade commander, and was charged with attacks on northern Israel’s Ramim Ridge, an area that has come under repeated rocket, missile, and explosive-laden drone fire amid the war against the Hamas terror group in the south.“As part of his role, he was responsible for the planning and execution of terror attacks in the Ramim Ridge area against the Israeli home front,” the IDF said.Hassin was struck in the southern Lebanon town of as-Sultaniyah. According to the IDF, another two Hezbollah operatives under his command were killed in the strike.Hezbollah announced Hassin’s death, saying he was killed “on the road to Jerusalem,” its term for operatives slain in Israeli strikes. The terror group did not refer to him as a commander. The Radwan force is believed by Israeli officials to be tasked with potentially infiltrating into the country.Hassin was the fifth Hezbollah officer with a rank equivalent to a brigade commander to be killed by Israel amid the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, according to the IDF. The military has said that more than 30 Hezbollah commanders have been killed in its strikes in the past six months.Meanwhile, on Monday afternoon, an explosive-laden drone launched by Hezbollah struck an area near Rosh Hanikra. The IDF said the strike caused a small fire in an open area, and that there were no reports of injuries.Hezbollah took responsibility for the attack, claiming to have targeted an Israeli naval base in the area.Drone infiltration sirens had sounded in several communities in the Western Galilee amid the incident.Throughout Sunday, Hezbollah continued its attacks on northern Israel, with the IDF saying it targeted sites belonging to the terror group in response. On Sunday morning, a barrage of rockets was fired from Lebanon at the Golan Heights and Manara area, and in the evening, a rocket fired at the northern city of Safed was successfully intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, the IDF said. There were other attacks on army bases and communities in northern Israel throughout the day.The IDF said Sunday evening that its fighter jets carried out strikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon’s Kafr Kila, as well as a rocket launcher in the town of Yaroun.Earlier Sunday, the IDF said fighter jets carried out strikes on a military compound belonging to the Radwan force in southern Lebanon’s Khiam. The compound included seven buildings used by the terror group, according to the IDF.The IDF said it also struck a Hezbollah command center in Toura.Since October 8, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis, with the group saying it is doing so to support Gaza amid the war there. Some 3,100 rockets, missiles, and drones have been launched from Lebanon at northern Israel since the beginning of the war. Another 35 have been fired from Syria, according to the IDF.Some 4,700 Hezbollah positions have been hit by the IDF amid the war, according to the military. In Lebanon, another 53 operatives from other terror groups, a Lebanese soldier, and at least 60 civilians, three of whom were journalists, have been killed.Tensions in the region have been high since an alleged Israeli strike in Damascus on Monday killed seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members, among them a senior Quds Force commander, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi. Iran has vowed revenge. The Iran-backed Hezbollah has said it supports Iran’s right to “punish” Israel, and in televised remarks on Friday, its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, said a response was coming.

Iranian FM heads to Syria, accuses Israel of trying to start a regional war-Top diplomat met Houthi leader in Oman beforehand; Islamic Republic’s army on ‘high alert’ to avenge 7 Revolutionary Guard officers killed in alleged Israeli strike in Damascus-By Reuters and ToI Staff Today, 11:51 am-

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrapped up a visit to Oman and was heading to Syria’s capital Damascus a week after Iran’s consulate there was targeted in a suspected Israeli attack, Iranian state media reported on Monday.Tehran has vowed to avenge seven of its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders who were killed in the attack, with a senior adviser to Iran’s supreme leader saying on Sunday that Israeli embassies were no longer safe. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Sunday that Israel “completed preparations for a response against any scenario that would develop against Iran.”Amir-Abdollahian started a regional tour on Sunday in Muscat, where the foreign minister met Omani officials and a representative of Yemen’s Houthis Mohamed Abdel-Salam, who said the Iranian-backed terrorist group would continue to target Israel-bound ships until a ceasefire is reached in Gaza.“The attack on Iran’s embassy building in Damascus is a new step in Israel’s warmongering and its attempt to expand war regionally,” Amir-Abdollahian said while in Oman.Israel typically does not discuss attacks by its forces on Syria. Asked about the strike last week, an Israeli military spokesperson said: “We do not comment on reports in the foreign media.”Iran was reported on Friday to have put its military on “high alert” and decided in favor of a direct strike on Israel to avenge the seven killed Revolutionary Guard officers. The Islamic Republic’s military chief promised on Saturday to inflict “maximum damage” on the Jewish state in retaliation for the alleged Israeli strike. The attack leveled a building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus, killing seven IRGC members including two generals, and at least one member of the Hezbollah terror group. Iran claims the bombed building was a consular annex. The IRGC is a US-designated terror group. Both Iran and its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah have vowed revenge. One of those killed in the Damascus attack was Mohammad Reza Zahedi, reportedly responsible for the IRGC’s operations in Syria and Lebanon, for Iranian militias there, and for ties with Hezbollah, and thus the most senior commander of Iranian forces in the two countries.Possible scenarios for which the IDF is understood to be preparing include missile and drone attacks by Iran-backed groups in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen — all of which have been carried out amid the ongoing Gaza war — and ballistic missile attacks directly from Iran, a situation that Israel has not yet faced. Israeli officials believe the country’s air defense systems will be able to handle the threat. On Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces canceled all leave for active combat soldiers, though the IDF Home Front Command has issued no special instructions to the public.A day earlier, the IDF said it was bolstering air defenses and calling up reservists, following an assessment.Iran has reportedly also put its military forces on “full high alert” ahead of any expected strike.

Israel, Hamas downplay report of progress in truce talks amid optimism from Egypt-Egyptian report says ‘significant progress on several contentious points of agreement,’ claims deal could be finalized this week; Hamas delegation leaves Cairo for consultations-By ToI Staff and Agencies Today, 9:52 am-APR 8,24

Israeli and Palestinian officials on Monday downplayed reports that a truce and hostage release deal between Israel and Hamas could be reached as early as this week.Citing a senior Egyptian official involved in the talks, the Egyptian outlet Al-Qahera reported early Monday that talks in Cairo have made “significant progress on several contentious points of agreement.”Egypt, Qatar and key Israeli ally the United States have mediated previous rounds of negotiations, but a deal has remained elusive. The state-linked Al-Qahera reported that Qatari and Hamas delegations had left Cairo and were expected to return “within two days to finalize the terms of the agreement.”US and Israeli delegations were due to leave the Egyptian capital “in the next few hours” and consultations were expected to continue over the next 48 hours, the outlet added. The report, which was not comfirmed by any of the parties in the talks, came after Israeli officials had indicated cautious optimism on the chances for a deal in comments carried by Hebrew-language media, with Jerusalem giving its delegation wider leeway to make concessions toward an agreement.“This time is different, we are the closest we’ve been in months to a deal,” Channel 12 news quoted a source close to the talks saying. On Monday, however, Israeli and Hamas officials downplayed the progress cited in the Egyptian report.“We still don’t see a deal on the horizon,” an Israeli official told  the Ynet news site. “The distance [between the sides] is still great and there has been nothing dramatic so far,” he added, noting that the Israeli delegation had not yet left Cairo. The official’s comments came shortly after an unidentified senior Hamas official in Gaza also denied progress in the talks, telling the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen news network that “so far there is no progress” and blaming Israel’s “obstinance.”Israel’s delegation was led by David Barnea, head of the Mossad, and Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar. The Hamas delegation, invited by Egypt, was led by Khalil Al-Hayya, the terror group’s deputy chief in Gaza. The two delegations reportedly arrived in Cairo on Sunday following the arrival on Saturday of CIA Director William Burns at the head of the US delegation. The Haaretz daily reported that the US had presented the parties with a new draft proposal Sunday night. The other two mediator countries, Egypt and Qatar, were respectively represented by Abbas Kamel, head of Egypt’s Intelligence Directorate, and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.A senior Egyptian official told the Qatari-backed, London-based New Arab news site on Sunday that “the agreement is approaching intensely,” with a humanitarian truce likely over the Eid al-Fitr holiday, April 9-12, which marks the end of Islam’s holy month of Ramadan. The official intimated a deal could be announced from Cairo.A diplomatic source told the Kan public broadcaster that “all sides are exhibiting greater flexibility than before,” and that “the American pressure is crucial to arrive at an agreement.”US President Joe Biden on Thursday held what was said to be a tense call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in which the president urged the premier to “empower his negotiators to conclude a deal without delay to bring the hostages home.” Netanyahu was reported by Kan to have complied with Biden’s request.Hamas and other terror groups are still holding 129 of the 253 hostages seized on October 7, during a shock onslaught on southern Israel that killed nearly 1,200 people. Israel launched a military campaign aimed at destroying the Hamas regime in Gaza and releasing the hostages. Hamas has also been holding, for nearly a decade, two Israeli civilians and the remains of two soldiers. The prime minister said in opening remarks to the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday that Israel would not agree to a ceasefire without the release of hostages, adding that despite growing international pressure, Israel would not give in to “extreme” demands from Hamas.Hamas, in a statement after meeting with Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas on Sunday, said it had “affirmed its adherence” to its previous demands that any hostage release be conditioned on a full ceasefire and withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, along with the return of displaced Palestinians to their homes and an increase in humanitarian aid.Ministers and other Israeli officials familiar with the details of the talks told Channel 12 on Saturday that the main sticking point in the talks was the question of the return of displaced Palestinians to the northern Gaza Strip.A senior Israeli official told Channel 12 news: “We are in critical days the likes of which we have not since the first deal” in November, when 105 hostages held by Hamas were exchanged for 240 Palestinian security prisoners in Israel during a weeklong truce.Netanyahu is “desperate for a [ceasefire and hostage] deal,” a senior source in the government told Sky News on Sunday, adding that “everything you see happening today is linked to hostage negotiations.”The fighting has effected a humanitarian crisis in the enclave, half of whose population has been displaced over the past six months. The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry says more than 33,000 people in the Strip have been killed in the fighting, a figure that cannot be independently verified and includes some 13,000 Hamas terrorists Israel says it has killed in battle. (NewsNation) — As millions prepare to witness Monday’s highly anticipated total solar eclipse, scientists are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to study a mysterious and little-understood part of the sun.Dr. Joe Pesce, an astrophysicist with the National Science Foundation, joined NewsNation’s “Morning in America” on Sunday to discuss the scientific significance of the celestial event.“The outer atmosphere, the most extended part of the atmosphere of the Sun is called the corona, which means crown in Latin because it looks like a crown,” Pesce explained. “It shows up when the vast portion of the light of the sun is blocked out because it’s very faint.”Solar eclipse: I’m not in the path of totality — do I still need to wear eclipse glasses? The corona, which can reach millions of degrees in temperature, is a perplexing aspect of the sun that has long intrigued scientists. Pesce said the high temperature of the corona, which contradicts the typical cooling trend as one moves away from the solar surface, is likely due to magnetic fields depositing energy into the low-density gas and plasma.“It’s a rare thing to study because historically, we’ve only seen it during solar eclipses,” Pesce said. “Nowadays, modern astronomers have instruments that can block that out. But it’s an important component of the sun.”To further their understanding of the corona, NASA is planning to launch three sounding rockets during the eclipse, providing additional data and insights.Pesce said that the eclipse itself poses no threat to power grids or GPS systems, contrary to some public concerns. He explained that while solar activity, such as coronal mass ejections, can affect infrastructure, the eclipse itself does not have any disruptive effects.Eclipse weather forecast: clear skies in the Northeast, clouds in Texas“This is an accessible astronomical activity that millions of people can participate in. And I think that’s fantastic,” Pesce said. “And if it encourages someone to go into STEM or to learn more about science and technology, then that’s … terrific.”Monday’s total solar eclipse will land along Mexico’s Pacific coast and cross into Texas and 14 other U.S. states before exiting over Canada. The moon will s Shroud the sun for up to 4 minutes and 28 seconds, a spectacle normally unfolding in remote corners of the globe but this time passing over major cities like Dallas, Indianapolis and Cleveland. An estimated 44 million people live within the path of totality, with another couple hundred million within 200 miles, guaranteeing the continent’s biggest eclipse crowd ever.NewsNation’s Sean Noone contributed to this report.

Hundreds expected to tie the knot during solar eclipse-Stephanie Haines-Updated: Apr 5, 2024 / 07:11 AM CDT

(NewsNation) — An untold number of couples are heading to the solar eclipse’s path of totality Monday so they can tie the knot in a once-in-a-lifetime moment.Russellville, Arkansas, and Tiffin, Ohio, have seen hundreds of registrations, indicating that many couples may marry during the eclipse, drawing even more spectators. In Tiffin, the chamber of commerce reports 150 couples have registered to elope during the event, with participants arriving from all over the county. The ceremony is free, but couples must show their marriage license, as an officiant will conduct the ceremony during the time of the eclipse’s darkness.“We’re hoping that it sparks them to continue to come back to celebrate here, whether it’s an anniversary, showing their future children, or just having those fond memories of a community they may not have come to otherwise,” said Marisa Stephens, Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce’s director of marketing.Eclipse travel scramble: Hotels, Airbnbs in path of totality full-Micah Simoneaux and Kathryn Jordan are planning their wedding in Texas, arranging everything from the venue to catering. They told NewsNation their priority is timing, as they want to complete their vows and ceremony before darkness falls during the eclipse, so no moment is missed.“It’s just going to be a great unique experience,” Simoneaux said in an interview aired Friday on “Morning in America.”“It’s something that we’re always going to be able to reflect on,” Jordan said. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime event for most people, and you’re my once-in-a-lifetime person.”The New York Times reports during the 2017 solar eclipse, nearly 1,000 weddings were listed on wedding website The Knot for that day.

Huge crowds await total solar eclipse in North America, but clouds may spoil view-The best weather is expected at the tail end of the eclipse in Vermont and Maine; It will be another 21 years before the US sees another total solar eclipse on this scale-By Marcia Dunn Today, 8:51 am-APR 8,24

MESQUITE, Texas (AP) — Millions of spectators along a narrow corridor stretching from Mexico to the US to Canada eagerly awaited Monday’s celestial sensation — a total eclipse of the sun — even as forecasters called for clouds. The best weather was expected at the tail end of the eclipse in Vermont and Maine, as well as New Brunswick and Newfoundland. It promised to be North America’s biggest eclipse crowd ever, thanks to the densely populated path and the lure of more than four minutes of midday darkness in Texas and other choice spots. Almost everyone in North America was guaranteed at least a partial eclipse, weather permitting.“Cloud cover is one of the trickier things to forecast,” National Weather Service meteorologist Alexa Maines explained at Cleveland’s Great Lakes Science Center on Sunday. “At the very least, it won’t snow.”The cliff-hanging uncertainty added to the drama. Rain or shine, “it’s just about sharing the experience with other people,” said Chris Lomas from Gotham, England, who was staying at a sold-out trailer resort outside Dallas, the biggest city in totality’s path. For Monday’s full eclipse, the moon was due to slip right in front of the sun, entirely blocking it. The resulting twilight, with only the sun’s outer atmosphere or corona visible, would be long enough for birds and other animals to fall silent, and for planets, stars and maybe even a comet to pop out.The out-of-sync darkness lasts up to 4 minutes, 28 seconds. That’s almost twice as long as it was during the US coast-to-coast eclipse seven years ago because the moon is closer to Earth. It will be another 21 years before the US sees another total solar eclipse on this scale.Extending five hours from the first bite out of the sun to the last, Monday’s eclipse begins in the Pacific and makes landfall at Mazatlan, Mexico, before moving into Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and 12 other U.S. states in the Midwest, Middle Atlantic and New England, and then Canada. Last stop: Newfoundland, with the eclipse ending in the North Atlantic. It will take just 1 hour, 40 minutes for the moon’s shadow to race more than 6,500 kilometers  (4,000 miles) across the continent.Eye protection is needed with proper eclipse glasses and filters to look at the sun, except when it ducks completely out of sight during an eclipse. The path of totality — approximately 185 kilometers (115 miles) wide — encompasses several major cities this time, including Dallas, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Buffalo, New York and Montreal. An estimated 44 million people live within the track, with a couple hundred million more within 320 kilometers (200 miles). Add in all the eclipse chasers, amateur astronomers, scientists and just plain curious, and it’s no wonder the hotels and flights are sold out and the roads jammed.Experts from NASA and scores of universities are posted along the route, poised to launch research rockets and weather balloons, and conduct experiments. The International Space Station’s seven astronauts also will be on the lookout, 435 kilometers (270 miles) up.

Cities in North America, Europe hold rallies marking hostages’ six months ‘in hell’Former captives, relatives and politicians, including Lapid and Bennett, attend protests calling for deal; congressman heckled in New York after urging more aid for Gazans-By ToI Staff Today, 6:23 am-APR 8,24

Former hostages, relatives of captives still held in Gaza and political rivals of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu joined rallies in several major Western cities Sunday to mark six months since the devastating October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel. In Washington, former hostage Aviva Seigal, whose husband Keith remains kidnapped, as well as the families of captives Romi Gonen, Or Levy, Sagui Dekel Chen and Omer Neutra rallied alongside Opposition Leader Yair Lapid and supporters in front of the Lincoln Memorial, calling for a deal to free the 129 people abducted from Israel six months earlier.“The need to put together a deal that’s agreed upon by all sides is urgent more than ever,” said Nuetra’s mother Orna Neutra. Some 2,000 people attended the rally in Washington, including US Representative Jamie Raskin, who said freeing the captives should be the priority in Gaza, US news outlet The Hill reported.“We say to all the governments of the world that the freedom, the security and the peace of the hostages and all civilians is the paramount ethical imperative and consideration at this moment,” he said.“It takes precedence over all other political and ideological agendas.”Marching today in Washington DC with families of the hostages. It’s been six months and 133 hostages are still being held in Gaza. Jerry Nadler, who also addressed the rally, was booed and heckled as he called for increased humanitarian aid for Palestinians in Gaza.“We must do more, because we are better than Hamas. We must do more to bring food and assistance to those who are suffering,” he said, as participants shouted “Shame” or “Bring them home,” The New York Times reported.Near the rally, a group of activists staged an installation in which several people were locked in cages or chained to poles, wearing clothes smeared with red paint and holding signs in Hebrew and English begging to be rescued.Midtown Manhattan, New York City, it has been six months since Hamas abducted several innocent individuals. An Egyptian outlet reported early Monday that the sides had left Cairo but were set to convene in two days to finalize an agreement.Speaking to Israel’s Kan public broadcaster from the sidelines of the rally in Washington, Lapid urged the government to grab the opportunity, even if the concessions it gives up are not popular.“The government needs to be pressured into taking the deal. It’s going to be a painful deal. It’s not going to be liked, but it needs to be done so we can bring them home.”

10-Therefore snares are round about you, and sudden fear troubles you;
11-Or darkness, that you can not see; and abundance of waters cover you.

REVELATION 16:3-7
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.(enviromentalists won't like this result)
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

What are Israelis saying about the total solar eclipse? Many Christians see the rare total solar eclipse in North America as a divine warning, and a “sign of the times.”By Israel Today Staff | Apr 7, 2024 at 10:00 am |

Tomorrow, Monday, April 8, people living in parts of North America will have a rare opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse. Many Christians view this as a prophetic event, which for us always begs the question: What are Israelis and the Jewish people at large saying about it? After all, they are the ‘People of the Book’ from which those prophecies come.A survey of the Hebrew press reveals that Israelis are widely aware of, and even excited by the upcoming eclipse, but aren’t seeing anything in it beyond scientific curiosity. Even religious and ultra-Orthodox Jewish media outlets are devoid of any talk of prophecy or “signs in the skies” in relation to this particular eclipse. That’s not to say Judaism attaches no spiritual importance to eclipses or other celestial events. It most certainly does. The medieval French rabbi known by the acronym Rashi, one of Judaism’s most revered sages, wrote that eclipses are always a bad omen. Which means a total eclipse is most certainly not a ‘good’ sign. Most other rabbis agree that a solar eclipse is a heavenly call to repentance. In the Talmud, the Jewish sages teach that a total solar eclipse is “comparable to a king who prepared a feast for his servants and placed a lantern before them to illuminate the hall. He became angry at them and said to his servant: Take the lantern from before them and seat them in darkness.”But for many religious Israeli Jews, for a major celestial event to have prophetic significance, at least in relation to Israel, it should actually be visible from Israel. Some Christians who have written to Israel Today argue that the eclipse is visible in North America because the prophetic significance is as a warning to the world’s only true superpower regarding its recent hostile stance toward Israel. The Biden Administration initially backed Israel unreservedly in its war against Gaza and other regional enemies. But, like most other nations around the world, America quickly became critical, and of late has been issuing little but condemnations of Israel over the prolonged battle against Hamas. For Israelis, this simply makes no sense. Hamas announced its goal of destroying Israel, and then went on a mass killing spree on Oct. 7 to show that it was serious. And Hamas, like Hezbollah, is backed by an Iranian regime with the same agenda. In other words, this is a clear existential threat. So Israelis are more than a little frustrated that their supposed “best friend” in the world is being so critical of their fighting tooth-and-nail against this threat. Maybe God is signaling His displeasure, too?

The Biden administration’s war against the government of Israel-Before Oct. 7, rioters demanded the overthrow of Netanyahu’s coalition due to its “anti-democratic” policies and “corruption.” The new rallying cry is to free the hostages.Tents set up by Israeli protesters outside of the Knesset in Jerusalem, demanding action by the government to bring home the hostages still being held captive by Hamas in Gaza, April 1, 2024.(April 1, 2024 / JNS)

The war rages in the Gaza Strip, northern Israel, Lebanon, Eilat and on the streets of Israel’s cities as Iran’s Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi and Yemeni proxies maintain and escalate their operations against the Jewish state. Unmoved by this state of affairs, Israel’s far left is reinstating the anti-government riots that occurred regularly through the first three-quarters of 2023.The newest round of leftist political violence began officially on Saturday night in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in the first of what has been billed as four days of protests. As was the case in the anti-government protests before Hamas’s invasion of and one-day holocaust in southern Israel on Oct. 7, in the current round, demonstrations are followed by riots in which a few dozen participate. As before, riots feature bonfires along major traffic arteries, assaults on police and ultra-Orthodox Jews, threats to murder Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and storming police barricades protecting the premier’s home. They also involve massive exaggerations of the number of protesters. On Sunday night in Jerusalem, for instance, organizers proclaimed the participation of 100,000 protesters. But aerial photographs of the event indicate that at most, a tenth of that number showed up.Before Oct. 7, rioters demanded the overthrow of the government due to its “anti-democratic” policies or its “corruption.” The new rallying cry is to free the hostages. On Saturday night, relatives of 10 of the 134 hostages declared, “To return our loved ones, we have decided to work in the service of Hamas. We are demanding that the Israeli government accept the organization’s demands immediately. If not—we will burn the country down.”Obviously, if the families get their way, Hamas will demand that Israel cease to exist in exchange for the hostages. Given that their demand causes harm to their loved ones, why are the organizers putting them up to this? To be sure, there are a number of reasons this is happening. But perhaps the main one was revealed on March 17 by riot leader Ami Dror in a WhatsApp group chat with his colleagues. The communication, which Dror authenticated in an interview with Channel 14, was first reported on X by a poster who operates under the handle, Arbelu the Tuna Hunter. In that communication, Dror told his colleagues that the White House was asking them to reinstate the riots.Based on what he referred to as a conversation with his contacts in the White House, Dror set out in granular detail the White House’s four-part plan to overthrow the government. The components involved actions on the ground in Gaza; the use of the U.N. Security Council; extortion of government ministers; and mass protests.Dror called his report: “An important update from the American administration.”He explained that his update followed an earlier text he sent out on March 6 on the same topic. “The American plan, as I published it on March 6 remains unchanged. The day after my publication, the Biden administration announced the establishment of an American port [in Gaza] that will seize from Israel the ability to rule the Strip—the port will be used initially to provide food, but the central purpose of the port is to rebuild Gaza.”The purpose of the U.S. campaign for humanitarian aid, he explained, was twofold: undermining the control of the Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza and blackmailing government ministers. In his words, “Government ministers are receiving messages from ‘American friends’ that they will be accused of war crimes. Under our radar, the U.S. and the E.U. have framed the hunger in northern Gaza as a war crime. This is an excuse for seizing control over the territory from Israel (parachuting food continuously, including by the German military, and building a port), but the words “potential indictment” for all members of the government of destruction is the clincher. How does it work? There are many members of the government that don’t want to lose their physical or economic freedom. The immediate targets are [billionaire Economy Minister Nir] Barkat (by freezing assets and turning the millionaire into a wanted man) [and] the Haredi parties … they and their communities worldwide have many properties. … Ministers in the government will become potential fugitives if they don’t enable the formation of a government without Kahanists. … Don’t be surprised if [Shas party leader Aryeh] Deri and [Agudat Israel head Minister Yitzhak] Goldknopf bring down the government soon. The Hareidi draft is just an excuse—their Hareidi cronies in America don’t want to get in trouble with Uncle Sam.”As for the United Nations, 10 days before the administration abstained from the vote for a Chinese- and Russian-sponsored resolution for an immediate ceasefire not conditioned on the release of the hostages, Dror wrote, “The United States intends to pass a resolution in the UN Security Council that calls for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza. The draft resolution was already published and it is being used as a means to pressure the government to prevent it from undermining a hostage deal [on Hamas’s terms]. If Netanyahu agrees to the deal [which will effectively involve strategic defeat in war], [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben Gvir will have to leave the government, (if he doesn’t he will lose most of his supporters). In this case, the government ‘will survive’ and be dependent on [Benny] Gantz and [Gideon] Saar and it will be easy to expand the government to include [Yair] Lapid and [Avigdor] Lieberman, [and so transform it into a government controlled by the political left]. This is the administration’s preferred option. If Netanyahu rejects the hostage deal in the next ten days—the Security Council will approve the U.S. draft, (or even worse—a different draft that the U.S. will not veto) [requiring] Israel to accept a ceasefire. (And practically speaking, ending the war will bring about the government’s overthrow.)”Dror moved to the role of domestic political actors in achieving the White House’s plan. Initially, he wrote, the administration believed that Benny Gantz, National Resilience Party leader and Netanyahu’s chief political rival, would bring the government down for it. But he has lost their confidence.“Gantz,” he wrote, “was summoned to the United States for a reprimand. He was humiliated. The Americans said hair-raising things to him. At the start of the war, the Americans demanded that he join the government. He was their man. The man that would ensure that Netanyahu and Ben Gvir didn’t set the world on fire. He came in and blocked the war in Lebanon, and promised that he was going in for six weeks and then he and the protest groups would take the government apart. After six weeks, he and Deri promised that by January 1 they would deliver the goods and in practice, the final deadline the Americans gave him was Ramadan. When he didn’t deliver for the U.S., the administration understood that they can’t trust Gantz. Maybe he’ll be a comfortable prime minister in the future. But the Americans seized full control over management of the war [against Netanyahu].”‘We are sick of the threats from extremists’Now that Gantz is out of the game, Dror said that the administration is moving the center of gravity to Dror and his fellow riot chiefs.“And the most important thing? Us, and President Biden’s request from us: The American method of dealing with misbehaving states, includes the destruction (economic and legal) that is centered on the leadership on the one hand, and driving a wedge between “the nation,” and “the leadership.” In our case … for this to work—the nation of Israel must show (in the streets!) that it is fighting the leadership. … The American administration needs to see the nation in Israel fighting the government of Israel.”The new slogan of the protests, he said, must be the hostages. “The most urgent task is the return of the hostages, and the way to return the hostages is by replacing the government=setting a date for elections now.”Last week, in a Zoom meeting with progressive American Jews, reported by Channel 14, Dror heralded a loss of Israeli sovereignty to the White House. He said that he prefers to be an American colony than to have the Israeli right in power. So far, the new protests have done more to turn the public against Dror and his comrades than against the government. Moments after the demonstration began in Tel Aviv, statements went out from hostages’ families that the relatives calling for protesters to “burn down the country” do not represent them. The media, which had tried to present the families of 10 out of 134 hostages as “the hostages’ families,” were forced to acknowledge that they represented a tiny fraction of the families.Bereaved parents of soldiers also began to speak out in short order, to great effect. One of the prominent statements came from Hagai Luver, whose son Yonatan Luver was killed in battle in Gaza in late December.
Luver wrote, “No one is going to burn down my country. We are sick of the threats from extremists. Yes, even when the extremists have relatives in Gaza. You will not burn the country. This will not happen. And if fighting you is required, I will fight you. Millions of people are looking at you in disbelief … and only because of your suffering, they are silent. But I will not be silent. My son was killed in Gaza. He went to defend and rescue your children, and was killed. He left everything. He left a pregnant wife and a 9-month baby boy, and was killed. He will never come back. No agreement will bring him back. And so I have a right to tell you this: You may not tear apart the country.”Dror’s boasts of close ties to the White House may or may not be empty. But what is clear enough is that the people of Israel—while deeply sympathetic to the fate of the hostages—will not be taken for a ride and will not allow the State of Israel to be driven into political chaos. The riot leaders and the administration may well believe that the enemy is the Israeli government. But the Israeli public isn’t buying it. On Oct. 7, the people’s eyes were opened, and they will not be closing any time soon. Israel is waging war and will continue to wage the war against its actual enemies—Hamas, Hezbollah and their puppet master Iran—until victory.jns-Israel is at war - Support JNS

BLOOD LIBELS: From matzah to rats to ‘Nosfenyahou’Posted March 27, 2024-The “La Presse” cartoon, based on a 1920s antisemitic film, depicts Netanyahu as a vampire, suggesting simply he is a Jewish bloodsucker and, more broadly, that the Jewish state — and Jews worldwide — must be vigorously opposed by right-thinking people who don’t want Jewish vampires to kill them.Oct. 7 was one battle in a larger jihad to annihilate Israel. Propaganda in the form of blood libels is a central component of the war.”By Caroline Glick

According to Canada’s La Presse, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a vampire, and he is poised to suck the life out of the Palestinians in Rafah, Hamas’ final outpost in southern Gaza. The newspaper that was once a paper of record in Canada ran a cartoon on March 20 (a piece of which is pictured at right) portraying Netanyahu as a vampire, with a huge hooked nose, pointy ears and claws for fingers, dressed in Dracula’s overcoat while standing on the deck of a pirate ship. The caption, written in blood-dripping red letters, read: “Nosfenyahou: En Route Vers Rafah.” Nosferatu, the Romanian word for vampire, was the title of a proto-Nazi German silent horror film from 1922 chock-full of antisemitic poison. The film, which became something of a cult flick, featured a vampire with a long Jewish nose. He arrived at an idyllic German town with a box full of plague-carrying rats that he released on the innocent villagers as he plotted to suck his realtor’s blood.La Presse’s cartoon didn’t leave any room for imagination. It wasn’t making a political or military argument against Israel’s planned ground operation in Rafah. Its goal wasn’t to persuade anyone of anything. The Netanyahu-the-vampire cartoon asserted simply that Netanyahu is a Jewish bloodsucker and, more broadly, the Jewish state — and Jews worldwide — must be vigorously opposed by all right-thinking people who don’t want Jewish vampires to kill them.As the paper no doubt anticipated, the cartoon provoked an outcry from Canadian Jews and some politicians. And after a few hours, the newspaper took it off its website and apologized. Anyone who thinks that means that the good guys won misses the point of the move. The Jewish outcry and pile-on by politicians and media coverage proved the point. Jews are evil and control everything, even what a private paper can publish. Like “Nosferatu” in its day, the cartoon will become a piece of folklore, additional proof that the Jews are the enemy of humanity. In other words, the cartoon was a blood libel. We’re seeing lots of it these days. And so, it is worth recalling what a blood libel is.In its original form, of course, the libel was specifically about blood. About 1,000 years ago, Christians in England began accusing Jews of performing ritual murders of Christian children to use their blood to bake Passover matzahs. The accusation was inherently insane. Jewish law prohibits murder. It prohibits cannibalism. It prohibits child sacrifice. It prohibits eating food with blood. But none of that mattered.Like the cartoon in La Presse, the blood libel didn’t seek to persuade anyone. It presumed that its target audiences already hated Jews or had a latent tendency to hate Jews, which the blood libel aimed to unleash. The purpose of the blood libel was to scapegoat the Jews and to incite target audiences from London to Damascus to act on that hatred. Over the millennium, hundreds of thousands of Jews were massacred in Europe and the Islamic world in response to blood libels.Since the original blood libel, other ones have appeared. Whether Jews are accused of spreading plague, poisoning wells, controlling the banking system, the media, corrupting young people or spearheading a world Communist revolution, the common denominators in all of the accusations are the same.Blood libels appeal to emotion, not reason. They do not seek to persuade anyone; rather, they are geared towards unleashing latest antisemitism. They legitimize and incite violence against Jews, who — once slandered as the enemies of the good — have no moral right to live. The nature and purpose of blood libels make them impossible to combat. Jews cannot disprove blood libels because they aren’t based on fact but on feelings or intentions attributed to Jews by people who hate them. Can Netanyahu prove that he isn’t a vampire? Of course not. If he bothered to try, it would be seen as proof that he’s covering something up. Can Jews prove that they aren’t evil? No, again. Because people predisposed to believe that Jews are evil see everything good that Israel does as an effort to cover up its foundational, immutable malevolence. “Pink-washing” is a case in point. The discourse on Israel’s war in Gaza is suffused in blood libels.Consider the accusation that Gazans are starving. USAID administrator Samantha Power issued a statement on Tuesday claiming that “famine is imminent in northern Gaza.”Power pointed a finger directly at Israel, blaming it for the “imminent” famine. “The US will continue to do everything we can to get food to people in Gaza, but Israel must do more to put an end to this mass — and preventable — suffering.”Almost simultaneously, EU Foreign Minister Josep Borrell accused Israel of deliberately starving the people of Gaza. As he put it, “In Gaza, we are no longer on the brink of famine, we are in a state of famine, affecting thousands of people. This is unacceptable. Starvation is used as a weapon of war. Israel is provoking famine.”These allegations were regurgitated in every language at multiple forums throughout the week. The fact that they are untrue is of no interest.According to data from COGAT — the Israel Defense Forces’ unit responsible for aid deliveries to Gaza before Oct. 7 — an average of 70 food trucks entered Gaza daily. In March, an average of 126 food trucks entered Gaza daily. That’s an 80% increase. But facts are for losers. And anyway, if no one dies of starvation in Gaza, that means that the good-hearted people of the world foiled Israel’s evil plans. Whatever happens, Israel’s ascribed criminality retroactively justifies Hamas’ invasion and slaughter of Israelis on Oct. 7, and supports the now-open US position that Israel must lose the war. It also justifies assaults against Jews throughout the Western world. Then there is the claim that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, or at a minimum, has deliberately murdered upwards of 30,000 Gazans — 70% of whom are women and children. There are three problems with the number 30,000. First, its source is Hamas, and so there is no way to check it. Second, assuming it’s true — since Israel’s assertion that it has killed more than 13,000 terrorists can be verified and is true — the ratio of terrorists to civilians among the dead in Gaza is 1:1.3, the lowest militant-to-civilian ratio in the history of modern warfare. And third, as was demonstrated earlier this month in a study by Abraham Wyner, a statistics professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Hamas’ data is “not real.”Wyner wrote that the Hamas data “is highly suggestive that a process unconnected or loosely connected to reality was used to report the numbers. Most likely, the Hamas ministry settled on a daily total arbitrarily. We know this because the daily totals increase too consistently to be real. Then they assigned about 70% of the total to be women and children, splitting that amount randomly from day to day. Then they in-filled the number of men as set by the predetermined total. This explains all the data observed.”Despite all of these provable, easily demonstrated facts, Israel stands in judgment for genocide at The Hague, and Jews are chased, harassed and beaten; and Jewish institutions are vandalized and burned in cities across the United States and Europe for their support for “genocide” of Palestinians.Another allegation that is gaining prominence, after being propagated by the UN Human Rights Commission, claims that Israeli prison officials sexually abuse Palestinian female prisoners. There is no evidence, let alone any proof, of such claims. Indeed, there are no allegations that can be checked in any way. All the same, they are making the rounds.IDF Brig. Gen. (ret.) Amir Avivi reported on a meeting that he held Thursday at the US State Department, where he was confronted with the accusation head-on.On his X account, Avivi wrote: “It’s hard to leave me speechless and shocked, but that is precisely what happened in my meeting at the State Department when the representative responsible for the Israeli-Palestinian dossier accused Israel of systematic sexual abuse of Palestinian women entirely on the basis of a concocted UN report that was written to try to find something to balance the atrocities of Oct. 7.”Israelis and Jews around the world were stunned by the swiftness and ferocity of the propaganda campaign Hamas’ supporters in the West launched in the immediate wake of Hamas’ orgy of murder and sadism in southern Israel. Less than 24 hours after the news broke, Hamas supporters at Harvard University kicked off the hate campaign by getting 31 student groups to sign a statement blaming Israel for Hamas’ atrocities. As details of the crimes began to flow, Hamas’ supporters in the West responded with violent denials of all of them. No rape. No immolation of children. No torture. No nothing. It was all Israel’s fault, they said. Israel killed and raped its own people. And now the Jews are raping Palestinian women. How do we know? Because they are Jews.On the face of things, the rapidity and shamelessness of the projection of blame and culpability onto Israel was shocking. Normal people could be forgiven for assuming that in the face of crimes of this enormity, Hamas’ supporters would lay low. But that assumption misses the point.Oct. 7 was one battle in a larger jihad to annihilate Israel. Propaganda in the form of blood libels is a central component of the war. The libels against Jews and the Jewish state today play the same role as they played in the Middle Ages, just on a national scale. If Jews deserved to be killed because Jews are evil, then the Jewish state deserves to be annihilated because it is the evil Jewish state. Everything that happens to Israel is proof of its evil. Every crime committed against Israel is a crime Israel committed. And if Israel doesn’t commit crimes attributed to it, then that’s because good people like Power and Borrell stood in its way.The depressing thing, of course, is that Hamas’ strategy is working. The latent Jew-hatred in the West was widespread enough to support their crimes. The propagation of the blood libels by the United Nations, the European Union and the State Department is a disturbing indicator of just how bad things really are.The question is what can Israel — and Jews more broadly — do in the midst of this avalanche of blood libel? The answer is twofold.•First, Israel must stop trying to prove a negative. No one cares if we are really blood-thirsty vampires. Persuasion doesn’t work with people moved by emotion, particularly hatred. Instead, Israel and Jews worldwide need to concentrate on rallying the people who viscerally understand what is going on and aren’t taken in by antisemitic cartoons and Hamas propaganda, even if it is spoken by Samantha Power. •As for the haters, countering them means going on the offensive. On the battlefield in Gaza, it means destroying Hamas completely so that everyone understands that attacking the Jews is a bad idea. And on the battlefields of the United Nations, the European Union, the State Department, Harvard, Berkeley, New York City and London, the answer is to expose the haters with as much vigor and ferocity as they demonize the Jews.

The US campaign to oust Netanyahu-The US secretary of state is pushing a plan for the Palestinian Authority to take over Gaza.By Caroline Glick | Jan 19, 2024 at 9:00 am |

Is Israel on the cusp of political upheaval? In recent days, evidence has grown that two key actors—the Biden administration and Israel’s security establishment—are both pushing the country in that direction to advance their longstanding common goal of ousting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the religious-right bloc from power. The Biden administration showed its hand on Tuesday when US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken gave Israel an ultimatum to support Palestinian statehood or risk demonization by the administration.Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Blinken restated the administration’s demand that Netanyahu present a plan for the day after the war against Hamas in Gaza and the administration’s goal of using the war to establish a Palestinian state. Blinken insisted that the only side that refuses to accept the administration’s goal is the Israeli public—and its leader, Netanyahu.Insisting that “Arab leaders, Palestinian leaders” have prepared their people for Palestinian statehood, Blinken said: “I think the challenge now, the question now, is is Israeli society prepared to engage on these questions? Is it prepared to have that mindset?”Israelis, of course, have engaged in the question of Palestinian statehood. After the atrocities that the Palestinians carried out against their people and state on Oct. 7—and as the full mobilization of Palestinian society in Gaza and Judea and Samaria on behalf of Hamas’s war of genocide against Israel has been revealed—Israeli support for Palestinian statehood dried up. As Direct Polls revealed last month, 81% of Israelis, including Arab Israelis, say there is no prospect for peace with the Palestinians, including 70% of left-wing voters. Some 88% of Israelis do not trust the Palestinian leadership.Blinken, however, doesn’t seem to care what Israelis think. He wants them to obey, and he views Netanyahu as the obstacle to Israeli obeisance to the administration’s program. As a result, he wants the prime minister ousted from power, as NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell reported on Wednesday. She wrote that during his visit to Israel last week, Blinken offered Netanyahu a deal. In exchange for Israeli support for Palestinian statehood, Saudi Arabia would normalize its ties with Israel.Netanyahu said no.Netanyahu’s position, the administration believes, means he has to go.“Three senior US officials say the Biden administration is looking past Netanyahu to try to achieve its goals in the region. Several senior US officials told NBC News that Netanyahu ‘will not be there forever,’” Mitchell wrote.“The Biden administration is trying to lay the groundwork with other Israeli and civil society leaders in anticipation of an eventual post-Netanyahu government. In an attempt to work around Netanyahu [during his visit to Israel], Blinken also met individually with members of his war Cabinet and other Israeli leaders, including opposition leader … Yair Lapid.”A ‘civil society’ action group-Significantly, Blinken tried to compel Netanyahu to agree to a plan that would see the US-supported, Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority that nominally controls the Palestinian autonomous areas in Judea and Samaria take over Gaza. The PA’s US-financed forces train for war against Israel and participate in terrorist attacks. The PA pays salaries to jailed terrorists, including the Hamas murderers and rapists who carried out the Oct. 7 atrocities. The PA schools, universities and media indoctrinate Palestinian children and society as a whole to seek the annihilation of Israel and the Jewish people through a genocidal jihad. The PA’s official position since Oct. 7 is to seek the establishment of a unity government between Fatah and Hamas in Judea and Samaria, as well as Gaza. In other words, empowering the genocidal PA means maintaining Hamas’s grip on power. Neither PA leader Mahmoud Abbas nor any PA or Fatah official has yet condemned the atrocities of Oct. 7.Blinken insists that Israel cannot win a military victory in Gaza. As Mitchell put it, “Blinken told Netanyahu that ultimately there is no military solution to Hamas … and that the Israeli leader needs to recognize that or history will repeat itself and violence will continue.”War, in other words, is futile.Although the public and Netanyahu reject this view, Blinken does have partners in Israeli “civil society” for his position. And those partners—led by retired generals—began a massive, multimillion-dollar campaign for new elections just before Blinken arrived in Israel.Last month, the Hakol Hayehudi news agency reported that immediately after Oct. 7, the Mitvim think tank put together a “civil society” action group led by retired general Nimrod Sheffer to build a plan for the establishment of a Palestinian state after the war.Sheffer, a retired head of the Israel Defense Forces’ Planning Division and a fighter pilot, was one of the most prominent retired generals pushing for Netanyahu’s ouster during the 10-month-long left-wing insurrection that preceded the Oct. 7 Palestinian invasion of southern Israel. Among other things, Sheffer was a leader of the campaign to convince active reserve Israeli Air Force pilots to refuse to serve in reserves as long as the government advanced its legislative effort to limit the powers of the Supreme Court.Hakol Hayehudi published the minutes of Sheffer’s group’s weekly meetings. From week to week, as the depth of the public’s rejection of Palestinian statehood became clear, the group realized that they wouldn’t be able to sell their plan to the Israeli people. So, they changed gears. They wouldn’t bother trying to convince the public of anything other than that the “settlers” and the “extremist right” are responsible for the war. Instead, they would have the United States run their campaign.“The Americans are the ones that need to lead, craft and manage the process,” they wrote. “The US needs to implement policy steps that Israel won’t be able to veto.”To safeguard their plans for Palestinian statehood, the Mitvim group argued that Israel must not destroy Hamas’s “civil infrastructure,” which it foresees the PA taking over.Last month, opposition leader Yair Lapid participated in a Mitvim conference on “the day after.” The next day, Lapid parroted Mitvim’s plan in an interview with Israel Radio. While Lapid is a big fish, the IDF General Staff and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant are even bigger fish. For more than a month, the General Staff has insisted that the government must begin discussions about “the day after the war.” On Jan. 4, Gallant presented his plan for “the day after” and insisted that the government discuss it.To date, Netanyahu has refused.Gallant’s plan bears notable similarity both to Mitvim’s plans and the Biden administration’s positions. It calls for the PA employees in Gaza, who operate the “civil” infrastructure of the Hamas regime, to be retained in their positions. The fact that these 17,000 PA employees overwhelmingly support Hamas, that many Oct. 7 terrorists were PA employees and that Fatah forces in Gaza, ostensibly subordinate to the PA, filmed themselves participating in the slaughters of Oct. 7 clearly made no impression on him. Gallant insisted that a US-led international force, including Arab governments, should have overall control over governance. Gaza residents who left their homes should be allowed—even forced—to return. Gallant’s plan calls for the IDF to have the right to operate freely in Gaza. But his plan does not foresee any permanent IDF presence—and through it, control—over Gaza.Reportedly due to massive pressure from Blinken and against the expressed recommendations of commanders on the ground, on Friday the General Staff stunned the public by announcing that it was removing a division from Gaza. In the days immediately following the troop withdrawal, the city of Netivot was attacked by rockets twice from areas IDF forces had abandoned in central and northern Gaza.On Monday, Gallant gave a news conference where he restated his demand that the cabinet and government discuss his “day after.” Gallant insisted that without a plan for the day after, the army wouldn’t know what to fight for.“The end of the military campaign has to be anchored in a diplomatic action. The diplomatic plan must be the roadmap for military action. The absence of a diplomatic decision is liable to undermine military operations.”Notably, when Gallant laid out the government’s war goals on Monday evening, he failed to mention the goal of eradicating Hamas’s political capabilities. He also scaled back the goal of defeating Hamas militarily from “eradicating” to “dismantling.”According to Channel 13, the day before Gallant’s press conference, Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi essentially said that from his perspective, the war was basically over, and it was up to the government to develop a diplomatic plan for the day after.According to Channel 13’s report of Halevi’s remarks, he insisted that all of the army’s hard-fought achievements were about to be erased “because there is no strategy for the day after.”Halevi said: “It’s possible that we’ll have to go back and act in areas where we already finished fighting.”“We are worried that the Hamas will reorganize in northern Gaza. We need to determine the way we want to finish the war. The current achievements in the war are being eroded. We need a civil [governance] plan,” he continued.Like Netanyahu and the public, Halevi and Gallant must know that the only way to secure Israel’s war aims is to complete the IDF’s conquest of all of Gaza. Even then, the only way to ensure that Gaza does not pose a continued threat to Israel is for the IDF to remain in charge of Gaza for the foreseeable future and for the population of Gaza to be permitted to leave the area for third countries. The administration totally opposes all of these actions. This then brings us to the reason Netanyahu has to date refused to set a plan for the day after the war. Given Israel’s requirements for victory, the moment Netanyahu allows the government to discuss them—much less adopt them—Israel will find itself in an open breach with the Biden administration. So long as Sen. Charles Schumer, the Democratic Senate Majority Leader from New York, blocks the Senate from voting to approve the $14.3 billion military aid package Biden pledged to Israel in October, Israel cannot risk such a breach. Given the depleted state of Israel’s current inventory of ammunition for its ground and air forces, without the supplemental aid, the IDF will be hard-pressed to fight the war to victory.By demanding that Netanyahu adopt the softened version of the US position, the General Staff and Gallant, along with the anti-Netanyahu national security establishment as a whole, are presenting Israel’s leader with an impossible choice. Netanyahu can adopt a policy for victory but endanger US rearmament, thus increasing the danger that the United States will abandon Israel at the United Nations. Or he can accept a version of the US position and commit Israel to strategic defeat. If he does the former, he will face a protest campaign led by the media and the security brass accusing him of destroying Israel-US relations and enabling them to plunge Israel into a new round of political instability. And if he does the latter, his coalition partners are likely to leave the government and overthrow it, and give the United States and the left their wish for new elections in the midst of war.
