EXODUS 38:21 - 40:38
21 This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.
22 And Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.
23 And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.
24 All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
27 And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.
28 And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and filleted them.
29 And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.
30 And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,

EXODUS 39:1-43
1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
4 They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
5 And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
6 And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

18 And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
21 And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
23 And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
24 And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.
27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.
32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

41 The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;
42 And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;

I think most right thinking people are agreed that physical effects aside, the content of the majority of TV programming today (I emphasise the word programming, a process that involves a passive receptor of information) is designed to instil a social worldview and value system that is self-centric and is in fact the opposite of what a healthy and enduring society requires.Individualism at any cost rules the day and it is more and more evident that empathy for one’s fellow citizen and a sense of personal responsibility are rapidly vanishing along with the morality that all healthy civilisations have known to be necessary for survival. Only recently a car I was travelling in was bumped from behind by a driver who was, I would guess, in his mid to late thirties, looked quite respectable and drove a new and expensive car. Rather than stop and offer his details for the damage done he feigned an apology and when our vehicle pulled off to park safely he took his opportunity to flee the scene, no doubt congratulating himself on avoiding a messy process involving insurance agencies etc. People today are only made to feel guilt when caught and exposed for their crimes. They have no higher authority to fear and the current direction of societal attitudes puts paid to that particular view often espoused that it is possible to remain moral and upstanding without religion or a guiding moral principal if you prefer. The crime figures, road rage and general attitude of fellow citizens would tend to indicate otherwise. I believe TV has much blame to shoulder for this.People spend a lot of their spare time in front of the television. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to state that TV is a major source of many people’s opinions and views on pretty much everything. Given the amount of time people spend watching television it makes perfect sense that if you want to shape public opinion the TV is the medium par excellence by which to disseminate your information. It stands to reason then that if you agree that a movement exists, and I think a lot of people of do, whose aim is to re-make the world in man’s image, albeit a skewed and perverse one, then it makes sense for such an organisation to consolidate control of the TV airwaves and turn it into a propaganda video-drome. Some might say that the proof is in the pudding, that TV is so biased toward the crude, libertine, amoral lifestyle and that the portrayal of the Christian religion, the very force that created our society, is so negative, misinformed and hostile that surely such a conspiracy exists. Now to extrapolate this thought is an article unto itself but the facts are there and the conspiracy is out in the open. To give just two examples, we have the admission by the
BBC following a leaking of an internal memo wherein it was admitted that they are anti-Christ in their outlook. After complaints that BBC programming repeatedly errs on the side of sensitivity to Islam & other minorities (religious or otherwise) & bias against Christianity (especially Roman Catholicism), the British Broadcasting Corporation has admitted its guilt. A summit meeting of BBC officials culminated in admissions that the BBC is not impartial or neutral, as BBC political editor Andew Marr put it. The closed-door summit’s conclusions were leaked to the British newspaper The Mail on Sunday.Evidence also exists that governments control news output and content. On January 14,1983 President Reagan of the USA signed into effect directive 77 which gave the CIA and government full power to determine and control the content of news that the American public receives, news which can now be uploaded and or modified in minutes with modern technology. Goebbels would be proud. Think about it. It only takes a decision made by one chief editor to determine the news received by millions and in the US it is said that upwards of 90% of all media formats including newspapers and magazines are controlled by 3 or 4 corporations, a number which is going down as more and more news agencies are bought up and amalgamated. All an agency has do to make sure the news delivered suits a particular agenda is to put a very small number of people into the right positions.

Beta waves are produced when one is thinking and using one’s higher faculties and Delta is associated with sleep and/or deep trance like states. The radiant light and flicker rates of TV cause the brain to drop down to a level of activity somewhere between Alpha and Theta – essentially a sleepy dreamlike state of mind where the higher critical functions are turned off. Even if you’re reading text on a television screen the brain registers low levels of Alpha wave activity. Theta brainwaves engage inner and intuitive subconscious. You will find theta in places where you hold memories, sensations and emotions Any information therefore imbibed from the TV by-passes our logical, critically thinking sieve and goes straight into those sub areas of the mind associated with more emotive response. TV then appeals more to the emotions than the mind and of course how many of us engage in lively informed debate anymore? Very few. The more common reaction to big questions is usually an emotive response followed by a quick change in subject. TV viewing is a somatic experience which means it is of the body, not of the mind. I’m reminded of Huxley’s book, Brave New World where the drug of choice was called soma and enabled people to escape un-palatable intellectual life problems.Psychologist Thomas Mulholland found that after just 30 seconds of watching television the brain begins to produce alpha waves, which indicates torpid (almost comatose) rates of activity. Alpha brain waves are associated with unfocused, overly receptive states of consciousness. A high occurrence of alpha wave activity does not occur normally when the eyes are open. In fact, Mulholland’s research implies that watching television is neurologically analogous to staring at a blank wall. It’s worth noting that the goal of hypnotists is to induce slow brain wave states. Alpha waves are present during the light hypnotic state used by hypnotherapists for suggestion therapy.
The critical side of your brain is the left. As you read this you are making judgements, passing opinions and coming to conclusions which take the form of beta brain wave activity. These are the waves activated when you begin to use that left hand side, the centre of logical human communication and analysis.Researchers have found that once the television set is switched on, that left hand side and all it’s faculties tends to switch off. Instead the image from television go straight to the right brain. The switch from beta to alpha waves shows this. Alpha brain waves are the ones we associate with meditation and sleep. By no means does this mean that we are not taking the information in – we are taking it all in, we are just not able to critically evaluate it as we would with information coming from other sources.Video Games have been shown to lower brain activity to below that of the Delta frequency!
The TV screen flicker rate alone is known to induce mesmerized states in people. This flicker rate is the rate at which the screen image is updated, generally about 50 or 60 times a second. DARPA is a US military funded research programme. One of their endeavours concerned developing TV flicker rates that could be played whenever a mesmerized state was required in a given section of the population.
Endorphins are released by overexposure to light. The radiant light from televisions causes a release of endorphins. Researcher Herbert Krugman showed that while viewers are watching television, the right hemisphere is twice as active as the left, a neurological anomaly. The crossover from left to right releases a surge of the body’s natural opiates: endorphins, which include beta-endorphins and enkephalins. Endorphins are structurally identical to opium and its derivatives (morphine, codeine, heroin, etc.). Activities that release endorphins (also called opioid peptides) are usually habit-forming (we rarely call them addictive). These include cracking knuckles and strenuous exercise. External opiates act on the same receptor sites (opioid receptors) as endorphins, so there is little difference between the two.Even casual television viewers experience such opiate-withdrawal symptoms if they stop watching TV for a prolonged period of time. An article from South Africa’s Eastern Province Herald (October 1975) described two experiments in which people from various socio-economic milieus were asked to stop watching television. In one experiment, several families volunteered to turn off their TV’s for just one month. The poorest family gave in after one week, and the others suffered from depression, saying they felt as though they had lost a friend. In the other experiment, 182 West Germans agreed to kick their television viewing habit for a year, with the added bonus of payment. None could resist the urge longer than six months, and over time all of the participants showed the symptoms of opiate-withdrawal: increased anxiety, frustration, and depression.Herbert Krugman’s research proved that watching television numbs the left brain and leaves the right brain to perform all cognitive duties. This has some harrowing implications for the effects of television on brain development and health. For one, the left hemisphere is the critical region for organizing, analyzing, and judging incoming data. The right brain treats incoming data uncritically, and it does not decode or divide information into its component parts.Researches into the effects of TV have warned that children under two years of age shouldn’t watch any at all due to the negative impact on various areas of a child’s development which include skills of observation, speech, hearing, depth perception, reading ability, inducing attention deficit type behaviour, a lack of motor skills due to immobile viewing habits and so on. TV is a wholly inappropriate and ineffectual teaching tool. Not so long ago in India, the then British Chancellor Gordon Brown, , in a speech mentioned this New Global Order that is being brought into existence. This New Order will be the stuff of nightmare as envisaged by Orwell. In fact I don’t think even Orwell had the vision to picture the dystopian technocratic dictatorship in store for humanity. Huxley was somewhat closer to the mark in his novel, Brave New World.

CLOUD, Minn. – Flickering ceiling lights are usually a nuisance, but in city offices in St. Cloud, they will actually be a pathway to the Internet.The lights will transmit data to specially equipped computers on desks below by flickering faster than the eye can see. Ultimately, the technique could ease wireless congestion by opening up new expressways for short-range communications.The first few light fixtures built by LVX System, a local startup, will be installed Wednesday in six municipal buildings in this city of 66,000 in the snowy farm fields of central Minnesota.The LVX system puts clusters of its light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, in a standard-sized light fixture. The LEDs transmit coded messages — as a series of 1s and 0s in computer speak — to special modems attached to computers.
A light on the modem talks back to the fixture overhead, where there is sensor to receive the return signal and transmit the data over the Internet. Those computers on the desks aren't connected to the Internet, except through these light signals, much as Wi-Fi allows people to connect wirelessly.LVX takes its name from the Latin word for light, but the underlying concept is older than Rome; the ancient Greeks signaled each other over long distances using flashes of sunlight off mirrors and polished shields. The Navy uses a Morse-coded version with lamps.The first generation of the LVX system will transmit data at speeds of about 3 megabits per second, roughly as fast as a residential DSL line.Mohsen Kavehrad, a Penn State electrical engineering professor who has been working with optical network technology for about 10 years, said the approach could be a vital complement to the existing wireless system.He said the radio spectrum usually used for short-range transmissions, such as Wi-Fi, is getting increasingly crowded, which can lead to slower connections.Light can be the way out of this mess, said Kavehrad, who is not involved in the LVX project.But there are significant hurdles. The main reason it paid a $10,000 installation fee for LVX is to save money on electricity down the line, thanks to the energy-efficient LEDs. Pederson said one of his LED fixtures uses about 36 watts of power to provide the same illumination that 100 watts provides with a standard fluorescent fixture.Besides installation costs, customers such as St. Cloud will pay LVX a monthly fee that's less than their current lighting expenses. LVX plans to make money because the LED fixtures are more durable and efficient than standard lighting. The more one researches mind control, the more one will come to the conclusion that there is a coordinated script that has been in place for a very long time with the goal to turn the human race into non-thinking automatons. For as long as man has pursued power over the masses, mind control has been orchestrated by those who study human behavior in order to bend large populations to the will of a small elite group. Today, we have entered a perilous phase where mind control has taken on a physical, scientific dimension that threatens to become a permanent state if we do not become aware of the tools at the disposal of the technocratic dictatorship unfolding on a worldwide scale.Modern mind control is both technological and psychological. Tests show that simply by exposing the methods of mind control, the effects can be reduced or eliminated, at least for mind control advertising and propaganda. More difficult to counter are the physical intrusions, which the military-industrial complex continues to develop and improve upon.
1. Education -- This is the most obvious, yet still remains the most insidious. It has always been a would-be dictator's ultimate fantasy to educate naturally impressionable children, thus it has been a central component to Communist and Fascist tyrannies throughout history. No one has been more instrumental in exposing the agenda of modern education than Charlotte Iserbyt -- one can begin research into this area by downloading a free PDF of her book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, which lays bare the role of Globalist foundations in shaping a future intended to produce servile drones lorded over by a fully educated, aware elite class.
2. Advertising and Propaganda -- Edward Bernays has been cited as the inventor of the consumerist culture that was designed primarily to target people's self-image (or lack thereof) in order to turn a want into a need. This was initially envisioned for products such as cigarettes, for example. However, Bernays also noted in his 1928 book, Propaganda, that propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government. This can be seen most clearly in the modern police state and the growing citizen snitch culture, wrapped up in the pseudo-patriotic War on Terror. The increasing consolidation of media has enabled the entire corporate structure to merge with government, which now utilizes the concept of propaganda placement. Media; print, movies, television, and cable news can now work seamlessly to integrate an overall message which seems to have the ring of truth because it comes from so many sources, simultaneously. When one becomes attuned to identifying the main message, one will see this imprinting everywhere. And this is not even to mention subliminal messaging.
3. Predictive Programming -- Many still deny that predictive programming is real. I would invite anyone to examine the range of documentation put together by Alan Watt and come to any other conclusion. Predictive programming has its origins in predominately elitist Hollywood, where the big screen can offer a big vision of where society is headed. Just look back at the books and movies which you thought were far-fetched, or science fiction and take a close look around at society today. For a detailed breakdown of specific examples, Vigilant Citizen is a great resource that will probably make you look at entertainment in a completely different light.
4. Sports, Politics, Religion -- Some might take offense at seeing religion, or even politics, put alongside sports as a method of mind control. The central theme is the same throughout: divide and conquer. The techniques are quite simple: short circuit the natural tendency of people to cooperate for their survival, and teach them to form teams bent on domination and winning. Sports has always had a role as a key distraction that corrals tribal tendencies into a non-important event, which in modern America has reached ridiculous proportions where protests will break out over a sport celebrity leaving their city, but essential human issues such as liberty are giggled away as inconsequential. Political discourse is strictly in a left-right paradigm of easily controlled opposition, while religion is the backdrop of nearly every war throughout history.
5. Food, Water, and Air -- Additives, toxins, and other food poisons literally alter brain chemistry to create docility and apathy. Fluoride in drinking water has been proven to lower IQ; Aspartame and MSG are excitotoxins which excite brain cells until they die; and easy access to the fast food that contains these poisons generally has created a population that lacks focus and motivation for any type of active lifestyle. Most of the modern world is perfectly groomed for passive receptiveness -- and acceptance -- of the dictatorial elite. And if you choose to diligently watch your diet, they are fully prepared to spray the population from the above.
6. Drugs -- This can be any addictive substance, but the mission of mind controllers is to be sure you are addicted to something. One major arm of the modern mind control agenda is psychiatry, which aims to define all people by their disorders, as opposed to their human potential. This was foreshadowed in books such as Brave New World. Today, it has been taken to even further extremes as a medical tyranny has taken hold where nearly everyone has some sort of disorder -- particularly those who question authority. The use of nerve drugs in the military has led to record numbers of suicides. Worst of all, the modern drug state now has over 25% of U.S. children on mind-numbing medication.
7. Military testing -- The military has a long history as the testing ground for mind control. The military mind is perhaps the most malleable, as those who pursue life in the military generally resonate to the structures of hierarchy, control, and the need for unchallenged obedience to a mission. For the increasing number of military personal questioning their indoctrination, a recent story highlighted DARPA's plans for transcranial mind control helmets that will keep them focused.
8. Electromagnetic spectrum -- An electromagnetic soup envelops us all, charged by modern devices of convenience which have been shown to have a direct impact on brain function. In a tacit admission of what is possible, one researcher has been working with a god helmet to induce visions by altering the electromagnetic field of the brain. Our modern soup has us passively bathed by potentially mind-altering waves, while a wide range of possibilities such as cell phone towers is now available to the would-be mind controller for more direct intervention.

Television, Computer, and flicker rate-- It's bad enough that what is programmed on your TV (accessed via remote control) is engineered; it is all made easier by literally lulling you to sleep, making it a psycho-social weapon. Flicker rate tests show that alpha brain waves are altered, producing a type of hypnosis -- which doesn't portend well for the latest revelation that lights can transmit coded Internet data by flickering faster than the eye can see. The computer's flicker rate is less, but through video games, social networks, and a basic structure which overloads the brain with information, the rapid pace of modern communication induces an ADHD state. A study of video games revealed that extended play can result in lower blood flow to the brain, sapping emotional control. Furthermore, role-playing games of lifelike war and police state scenarios serve to desensitize a connection to reality. 10. Nanobots -- From science fiction horror, directly to the modern brain; the nanobots are on the way. Direct brain modification already has been packaged as neuroengineering. A Wired article from early 2009 highlighted that direct brain manipulation via fiber optics is a bit messy, but once installed it could make someone happy with the press of a button.Nanobots take the process to an automated level, rewiring the brain molecule by molecule. Worse, these mini droids can self-replicate, forcing one to wonder how this genie would ever get back in the bottle once unleashed. Expected date of arrival? I think most right thinking people are agreed that physical effects aside, the content of the majority of TV programming today (I emphasise the word programming, a process that involves a passive receptor of information) is designed to instil a social worldview and value system that is self-centric and is in fact the opposite of what a healthy and enduring society requires.Individualism at any cost rules the day and it is more and more evident that empathy for one’s fellow citizen and a sense of personal responsibility are rapidly vanishing along with the morality that all healthy civilisations have known to be necessary for survival. Only recently a car I was travelling in was bumped from behind by a driver who was, I would guess, in his mid to late thirties, looked quite respectable and drove a new and expensive car. Rather than stop and offer his details for the damage done he feigned an apology and when our vehicle pulled off to park safely he took his opportunity to flee the scene, no doubt congratulating himself on avoiding a messy process involving insurance agencies etc. People today are only made to feel guilt when caught and exposed for their crimes. They have no higher authority to fear and the current direction of societal attitudes puts paid to that particular view often espoused that it is possible to remain moral and upstanding without religion or a guiding moral principal if you prefer. The crime figures, road rage and general attitude of fellow citizens would tend to indicate otherwise. I believe TV has much blame to shoulder for this.People spend a lot of their spare time in front of the television. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to state that TV is a major source of many people’s opinions and views on pretty much everything. Given the amount of time people spend watching television it makes perfect sense that if you want to shape public opinion the TV is the medium par excellence by which to disseminate your information. BBC following a leaking of an internal memo wherein it was admitted that they are anti-Christ in their outlook. After complaints that BBC programming repeatedly errs on the side of sensitivity to Islam & other minorities (religious or otherwise) & bias against Christianity (especially Roman Catholicism), the British Broadcasting Corporation has admitted its guilt. A summit meeting of BBC officials culminated in admissions that the BBC is not impartial or neutral, as BBC political editor Andew Marr put it. The closed-door summit’s conclusions were leaked to the British newspaper The Mail on Sunday.Evidence also exists that governments control news output and content. On January 14,1983 President Reagan of the USA signed into effect directive 77 which gave the CIA and government full power to determine and control the content of news that the American public receives, news which can now be uploaded and or modified in minutes with modern technology. Goebbels would be proud. Think about it. It only takes a decision made by one chief editor to determine the news received by millions and in the US it is said that upwards of 90% of all media formats including newspapers and magazines are controlled by 3 or 4 corporations, a number which is going down as more and more news agencies are bought up and amalgamated. All an agency has do to make sure the news delivered suits a particular agenda is to put a very small number of people into the right positions.

Alpha brain waves are associated with unfocused, overly receptive states of consciousness. A high occurrence of alpha wave activity does not occur normally when the eyes are open. In fact, Mulholland’s research implies that watching television is neurologically analogous to staring at a blank wall. It’s worth noting that the goal of hypnotists is to induce slow brain wave states. Alpha waves are present during the light hypnotic state used by hypnotherapists for suggestion therapy.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Flickering ceiling lights are usually a nuisance, but in city offices in St. Cloud, they will actually be a pathway to the Internet.The lights will transmit data to specially equipped computers on desks below by flickering faster than the eye can see. Ultimately, the technique could ease wireless congestion by opening up new expressways for short-range communications.The first few light fixtures built by LVX System, a local startup, will be installed Wednesday in six municipal buildings in this city of 66,000 in the snowy farm fields of central Minnesota.The LVX system puts clusters of its light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, in a standard-sized light fixture. The LEDs transmit coded messages — as a series of 1s and 0s in computer speak — to special modems attached to computers.
A light on the modem talks back to the fixture overhead, where there is sensor to receive the return signal and transmit the data over the Internet. Those computers on the desks aren't connected to the Internet, except through these light signals, much as Wi-Fi allows people to connect wirelessly.LVX takes its name from the Latin word for light, but the underlying concept is older than Rome; the ancient Greeks signaled each other over long distances using flashes of sunlight off mirrors and polished shields. The Navy uses a Morse-coded version with lamps.The first generation of the LVX system will transmit data at speeds of about 3 megabits per second, roughly as fast as a residential DSL line.Mohsen Kavehrad, a Penn State electrical engineering professor who has been working with optical network technology for about 10 years, said the approach could be a vital complement to the existing wireless system.He said the radio spectrum usually used for short-range transmissions, such as Wi-Fi, is getting increasingly crowded, which can lead to slower connections.Light can be the way out of this mess, said Kavehrad, who is not involved in the LVX project.But there are significant hurdles. For one, smart phones and computers already work on Wi-Fi networks that are much faster than the LVX system.Technology analyst Craig Mathias of the Farpoint Group said the problems with wireless congestion will ease as Wi-Fi evolves, leaving LVX's light system to niche applications such as indoor advertising displays and energy management.
LVX Chief Executive Officer John Pederson said a second-generation system that will roll out in about a year will permit speeds on par with commercial Wi-Fi networks. It will also permit lights that can be programmed to change intensity and color.For the city, the data networking capability is secondary. The main reason it paid a $10,000 installation fee for LVX is to save money on electricity down the line, thanks to the energy-efficient LEDs. Pederson said one of his LED fixtures uses about 36 watts of power to provide the same illumination that 100 watts provides with a standard fluorescent fixture.Besides installation costs, customers such as St. Cloud will pay LVX a monthly fee that's less than their current lighting expenses. LVX plans to make money because the LED fixtures are more durable and efficient than standard lighting. At least initially, the data transmission system is essentially a bonus for customers.Pederson said the next generation of the system should get even more efficient as fixtures become smart so the lights would dim when bright sunlight is coming through a window or when a conference room or hallway is empty.Because the lights can also change color, Pederson said they could be combined with personal locators or tiny video cameras to help guide people through large buildings. The lights could show a trail of green lights to an emergency exit, for instance.While Kavehrad and Mathias credited LVX for being the first company in the United States to bring the technology to market, Kavehrad said it trails researchers and consumer electronics companies in Japan and Korea in developing products for visible-light networks. Pederson's previous company, 911 EP, built high-powered LED roof lights for squad cars and other emergency vehicles. He said he sold the company in 2002. He said the visible-light network grew out his interest in LEDs that goes to the mid-1990s.The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, which pays for 24-hour lighting and replacing fluorescent bulbs on high ceilings, is considering an LVX system, said Jeffrey W. Hamiel, executive director of the Metropolitan Airports Commission.The system might include mounting cameras on the light fixtures to bolster the airport security system, but the real attraction is the savings on electricity and maintenance.Anything we can do to save costs is worth consideration, he said.Michael Williams, the city administrator in St. Cloud, said the city had been considering LVX for some time.It's pretty wild stuff, he said. They have been talking about it with us for couple of years, and frankly it took a while for it to sink in.

The more one researches mind control, the more one will come to the conclusion that there is a coordinated script that has been in place for a very long time with the goal to turn the human race into non-thinking automatons. For as long as man has pursued power over the masses, mind control has been orchestrated by those who study human behavior in order to bend large populations to the will of a small elite group. Today, we have entered a perilous phase where mind control has taken on a physical, scientific dimension that threatens to become a permanent state if we do not become aware of the tools at the disposal of the technocratic dictatorship unfolding on a worldwide scale.Modern mind control is both technological and psychological. Tests show that simply by exposing the methods of mind control, the effects can be reduced or eliminated, at least for mind control advertising and propaganda. More difficult to counter are the physical intrusions, which the military-industrial complex continues to develop and improve upon.
1. Education -- This is the most obvious, yet still remains the most insidious. It has always been a would-be dictator's ultimate fantasy to educate naturally impressionable children, thus it has been a central component to Communist and Fascist tyrannies throughout history. No one has been more instrumental in exposing the agenda of modern education than Charlotte Iserbyt -- one can begin research into this area by downloading a free PDF of her book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, which lays bare the role of Globalist foundations in shaping a future intended to produce servile drones lorded over by a fully educated, aware elite class.
2. Advertising and Propaganda -- Edward Bernays has been cited as the inventor of the consumerist culture that was designed primarily to target people's self-image (or lack thereof) in order to turn a want into a need. This was initially envisioned for products such as cigarettes, for example. However, Bernays also noted in his 1928 book, Propaganda, that propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government. This can be seen most clearly in the modern police state and the growing citizen snitch culture, wrapped up in the pseudo-patriotic War on Terror. The increasing consolidation of media has enabled the entire corporate structure to merge with government, which now utilizes the concept of propaganda placement. Media; print, movies, television, and cable news can now work seamlessly to integrate an overall message which seems to have the ring of truth because it comes from so many sources, simultaneously. When one becomes attuned to identifying the main message, one will see this imprinting everywhere. And this is not even to mention subliminal messaging.
3. Predictive Programming -- Many still deny that predictive programming is real. I would invite anyone to examine the range of documentation put together by Alan Watt and come to any other conclusion. Predictive programming has its origins in predominately elitist Hollywood, where the big screen can offer a big vision of where society is headed. Just look back at the books and movies which you thought were far-fetched, or science fiction and take a close look around at society today. For a detailed breakdown of specific examples, Vigilant Citizen is a great resource that will probably make you look at entertainment in a completely different light.
4. Sports, Politics, Religion -- Some might take offense at seeing religion, or even politics, put alongside sports as a method of mind control. The central theme is the same throughout: divide and conquer. The techniques are quite simple: short circuit the natural tendency of people to cooperate for their survival, and teach them to form teams bent on domination and winning. Sports has always had a role as a key distraction that corrals tribal tendencies into a non-important event, which in modern America has reached ridiculous proportions where protests will break out over a sport celebrity leaving their city, but essential human issues such as liberty are giggled away as inconsequential. Political discourse is strictly in a left-right paradigm of easily controlled opposition, while religion is the backdrop of nearly every war throughout history.
5. Food, Water, and Air -- Additives, toxins, and other food poisons literally alter brain chemistry to create docility and apathy. Fluoride in drinking water has been proven to lower IQ; Aspartame and MSG are excitotoxins which excite brain cells until they die; and easy access to the fast food that contains these poisons generally has created a population that lacks focus and motivation for any type of active lifestyle. Most of the modern world is perfectly groomed for passive receptiveness -- and acceptance -- of the dictatorial elite. And if you choose to diligently watch your diet, they are fully prepared to spray the population from the above.
6. Drugs -- This can be any addictive substance, but the mission of mind controllers is to be sure you are addicted to something. One major arm of the modern mind control agenda is psychiatry, which aims to define all people by their disorders, as opposed to their human potential. This was foreshadowed in books such as Brave New World. Today, it has been taken to even further extremes as a medical tyranny has taken hold where nearly everyone has some sort of disorder -- particularly those who question authority. The use of nerve drugs in the military has led to record numbers of suicides. Worst of all, the modern drug state now has over 25% of U.S. children on mind-numbing medication.
7. Military testing -- The military has a long history as the testing ground for mind control. The military mind is perhaps the most malleable, as those who pursue life in the military generally resonate to the structures of hierarchy, control, and the need for unchallenged obedience to a mission. For the increasing number of military personal questioning their indoctrination, a recent story highlighted DARPA's plans for transcranial mind control helmets that will keep them focused.
8. Electromagnetic spectrum -- An electromagnetic soup envelops us all, charged by modern devices of convenience which have been shown to have a direct impact on brain function. In a tacit admission of what is possible, one researcher has been working with a god helmet to induce visions by altering the electromagnetic field of the brain. Our modern soup has us passively bathed by potentially mind-altering waves, while a wide range of possibilities such as cell phone towers is now available to the would-be mind controller for more direct intervention.
9. Television, Computer, and flicker rate-- It's bad enough that what is programmed on your TV (accessed via remote control) is engineered; it is all made easier by literally lulling you to sleep, making it a psycho-social weapon. Flicker rate tests show that alpha brain waves are altered, producing a type of hypnosis -- which doesn't portend well for the latest revelation that lights can transmit coded Internet data by flickering faster than the eye can see. The computer's flicker rate is less, but through video games, social networks, and a basic structure which overloads the brain with information, the rapid pace of modern communication induces an ADHD state. A study of video games revealed that extended play can result in lower blood flow to the brain, sapping emotional control. Furthermore, role-playing games of lifelike war and police state scenarios serve to desensitize a connection to reality. One look at the WikiLeaks video Collateral Murder should be familiar to anyone who has seen a game like Call of Duty.
10. Nanobots -- From science fiction horror, directly to the modern brain; the nanobots are on the way. Direct brain modification already has been packaged as neuroengineering. A Wired article from early 2009 highlighted that direct brain manipulation via fiber optics is a bit messy, but once installed it could make someone happy with the press of a button.Nanobots take the process to an automated level, rewiring the brain molecule by molecule. Worse, these mini droids can self-replicate, forcing one to wonder how this genie would ever get back in the bottle once unleashed. Expected date of arrival? Early 2020s.A concerted effort is underway to manage and predict human behavior so that the social scientists and the dictatorial elite can control the masses and protect themselves from the fallout of a fully awake free humanity. Only by waking up to their attempts to put us to sleep do we stand a chance of preserving our free will.

Like most of you I realize you can’t agree with every TV or radio talk show host on every issue. However, we see the push and necessity to support our own and lift the banner of conservative common sense high, especially with this radical regime in the White House.As a national radio talk show host www.therothshow.com , I realize all too much the sound bite theatre, ratings pressure and competition, even jealousy among radio and TV hosts. I am a growing host and have done national radio and TV for years…I understand ego. At the very least hosts want to keep their jobs, grow big and make lots of money during their careers. With all that in mind I find it growingly unforgivable that who I would expect to be leaders in my field, media and entertainment, continue to marginalize, minimize and insult those daring to question Barack Obama’s eligibility.Not all the big hosts have thrown the questioning crowd under the bus including Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Lou Dobbs. I have heard them on various occasions question Obama’s eligibility. Rush even has called Obama an imposter. Yet it is still far from enough pressure and depth.The self proclaimed leaders on cutting issues Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly, the Holy Grail of no spin and media courage, apparently can’t find any courage when it comes to honestly taking on and exploring this growing issue of concern by the masses regarding Obama’s eligibility. They have insulted and demeaned birthers.
This is not just a birther opinion crises, this is a legal and constitutional crises supported and protected by the media! This is also a huge crime against America in my opinion. Should this not be a mainstream issue on ALL news shows until it is resolved? Bill O’Reilly has said on his show that he has seen the Long form Birth Certificate. That is a lie. It has been locked away and only the Certification of Live Birth has been displayed by Obama’s staff and shown to others. That is the document Hawaii offers to foreign born individuals. Some have said that if Obama had not been born in Hawaii Hillary Clinton would have found out as much as she wanted the Presidency that bad. Even if her and Bill wanted to find it and expose it she couldn’t have. She may think she is God but she ain’t. Obama has paid big bucks to lock it away well before he was elected so no one could have seen it.Beck has implied that Birthers are discrediting themselves so why should Obama show the birth certificate? How is digging for the truth to protect our country and constitution discrediting ourselves? Other conservative crusaders credited with boldness and honesty on most accounts have also minimized and insulted birthers and the eligibility issue such as Ann Coulter and Andrew Breitbart, who I interviewed at CPAC this year. Did the Owners of Fox and the money people behind Fox Beck and O’Reilly? Something has to be up since everyone of the conservative headliners has mostly gone the other way on this critical issue. They have done the opposite of displaying honesty, integrity, intelligence and courage on this growing national emergency of an issue.Recently at CPAC in DC I interviewed Dr. Jerri Corsi, who has done an in depth investigation into Obama and his eligibility. As I shared in my last article, he said the real story, regardless of where the long form birth certificate is, is that Obama lied. It is a proven fact that Obama was not born in Hawaii. Corsi has checked all records, media and hospitals in existence there and it is a fact that Obama was not born there. His new book called Where is the Birth Certificate comes out on the shelves in May but can be pre ordered now.
Dr. Corsi’s book will put much needed heat and momentum to the fire. Will the big boys and mainstream media wake up then? I’m curious how the no spin zone and other spin machines of conservative news will go when the truth of it all finally is exposed and it will be. There will be so much spin that Fox and their hosts will look like messy tornadoes twirling down the halls. America, congress and lawyers will have to pick up a very large constitutional mess. It is coming.As you consider the facts and your position, remember Governor Neil Abercrombie waltzing back and forth, I found it and have seen it….then I misspoke and haven’t seen it while we also have had Tim Adams, a Hawaii Elections Clerk in 2008 weigh in. 7. Though there have been over a dozen law suits against Obama on eligibility grounds and hero, Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin has been Court marshaled and convicted on three counts of disobeying orders. He plead guilty on four counts related to disobeying orders. He and his attorney were hoping and expecting discovery to force Obama to show his birth certificate. Lakin was not allowed discovery and exculpatory evidence. That is a crime in itself when most likely Lt. Col. Lakin is correct. Obama is NOT his commander and Chief. Oh who cares……it is just a brave, decorated Lt. Col and medical Doctor who has faithfully served his country for many years. Let him rot in prison as the real crimes take place at the White House and in our media.I will not let this go. Invent some more slander and names. I’m getting bored with those used so far.

Amidst the controversy of his wild interview on the Alex Jones Show yesterday, actor Charlie Sheen wasted little time in confronting President Barack Obama on his failure to answer Sheen’s twenty questions concerning 9/11, calling Obama, a coward in a cheap suit.In September 2009, Sheen produced a special video message in which he addressed Obama, along with a list of questions pertaining to contradictions in the official story of 9/11. Sheen’s argument was centered around the fact that six of the ten 9/11 commissioners have publicly stated that the government agreed not to tell the truth about 9/11 and that the Pentagon was engaged in deliberate deception about their response to the attack.It’s still topical, it’s a timeless message, it’s still right there in the fold, said Sheen of his 20 Minutes With the President campaign.The actor then unloaded on Obama for failing to acknowledge or respond to Sheen’s questions.I would say to B.O. – how much faith can I possibly have in you to run this entire country when 20 questions from a high school drop out sitcom actor appears to be too much to handle for you and your staff, said Sheen, adding that Obama had failed to respond in nearly two years since the actor produced his video message.You sir are obviously a coward in a cheap suit….quit hiding, it’s embarrassing, added Sheen.I think somebody is running at him with a tape recording of what I just spoke saying they’re on to us men – he’s back, we thought he was dead, joked Sheen.

Nothing may get by Greta, but it seems the Wisconsin world slides avalanche-like over Shepard Smith at Fox News.Shepard Smith’s conversation today with commentator Juan Williams would likely surprise loyal viewers of both Fox News and MSNBC wrote Mediaite’s savvy Matt Schneider, who concludes Smith’s Pretending (that) Wisconsin is about a fiscal crisis is malarkey.Fox News’ attempts at keeping Fair and Balanced at the forefront, sometimes sees it doing pretzel twists to live up to its slogan, at the same time sending some of its most loyal viewers to the rant corner just to shake Shep out of their heads. Shep’s repeated assertion that there is no longer a budget crisis in Wisconsin and that the battle in the state is all about politics and union-busting was most shocking because that’s the exact argument many of MSNBC’s commentators have made, and continue to be suggesting.(Matt Schneider, Feb. 23, 2011).Shep suggested that the Democratic party could be in big trouble if their biggest donors, the unions, lose their power and summed it up as bust the unions—it’s over. Furthermore, Shep brought up the facts that the Koch brothers, among others, were organizing to try to bust labor—it’s what big big business wants to do.Given that the Koch brothers contributed to the campaign of Wisconsin Governor Walker, Shep said people should not be surprised that now they want unions busted. Despite Shep claiming, I’m not taking a side on this, I’m telling you what’s going on, Williams warned Shep that just by telling the facts, you’re angering a lot of people.
Oddly, it seems Shep’s unexpected disclosure of facts does give some credence to at least the Koch brothers component of Ed Schultz’s argument that the union showdown is part of a right wing master plan. However, given that Shep adamantly declared to pretend this is about a fiscal crisis in the state of Wisconsin is malarkey, it seems like Fox News’ participation in such a master plan isn’t what Schultz might have suspected.Shep’s musings about big business organizing to try to bust labor—”it’s what big business wants to do—could be relegated to the conspiracy theory pile. If Shep were more like Greta, he would have noticed by now that big business—much of it like Government Motors, nationalized by President Obama—long ago hit the Endangered Species list.Meanwhile, Canada Free Press thinks that Shep Smith, dubbed as Shemp Smith: Dummy by talk show radio giant Mark Levin would make the perfect candidate to lead Levin’s recently struck Kumbaya Band.

24 February 2010: Remember when people who talked about a North American Union were publicly marginalized by both conservative and liberal talk show hosts? Media personalities openly stereotyped people as fools and kooks for merely asking reasonable and sensible questions. They called people conspiracy theorists and nuts even after deals were already made behind our backs – even before the ink on the treaties or contracts dried.Americans were and are called un-patriotic for asking questions and wanting the simple truth from our government about the backroom deals creating a North American Union (NAU). The NAU, of course, is just one component of the global agenda or New World Order that will consolidate power on a global scale. It’s implementation, which has been underway for the better part of the last century, will ultimately destroy American sovereignty. This agenda has never been so clear as it is now.Elected officials change, but the agenda to destroy American sovereignty or the U.S. as a nation has not. For the global agenda to work, there must be a shadow power structure that is advancing the globalist ideology, regardless of the visible power brokers and politicians. Mention such a power structure of the global elite and be prepared to be marginalized, criticized, or called paranoid. Yet, it’s clear that it exists. The world is witnessing this agenda at work at this moment as countries across the globe begin to burn. The unrest is just getting started, folks, yet too few understand what is taking place and what is being planned.
These shadow powers, or the individuals behind these orchestrated revolts are indeed no longer secret. The Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderberg Group are all guilty of illegally setting the worlds agenda without the consent of the people. These groups are composed of the world’s richest and most influential people in business and politics. They meet together to set policy in foreign affairs, and decide who will be the next face of power. By their own admission, they set such agendas.The citizens of America are supposed to be protected from such people and groups by law. That law, titled the Logan Act, prohibits United States citizens, without the authority of their office, from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments. Unfortunately for Americans, the Logan Act is trumped by the money and power of the unelected. To add salt to the deep American wound created by the real power brokers, the big six media companies and their talking heads have gone so far to celebrate the lack of media coverage or the media blackouts of these events. A simple example is the eligibility issue of Barack Hussein Obama.For the last two decades, the media no longer even tries to cover up their complicity. In an address to a meeting of the Trilateral Commission in 1991, founder David Rockefeller gloated and thanked the media for such complicity:We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.[emphasis mine].In an unprecedented move, Barack Hussein Obama became the first-ever U.S. president to chair the United Nations Security Council. Never in the history of the United Nations has a U.S. President taken the chairmanship of the powerful UN council. By design, Obama has been putting the needs of the United Nations, and therefore the global agenda, ahead of the needs of the citizens of America. Through this and other globalist plans, the sovereignty of America has been experiencing seditious attacks from within.

The goal is to implement the use of biometric chips to keep track of the denizens of North America. In the four page declaration released by the White House earlier this month, the Obama administration has partnered with Canada to create the technical standards for the collection, transmission, and matching of biometrics that enable the sharing of information on travelers in real time. Legitimate travelers, that is.Again, this is about control, not security. And this is about the creation of a North American Union at the expense of national sovereignty for a global society.History teaches us that with great power comes great corruption. It seems that we are in a time of great corruption now. When George Orwell (pen name of Eric Blair) first published his famous novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four, it was the year 1949, and it told a dark story of what he envisioned life may be like in the future-in the year 1984. His book, as well as his name, have become synonymous with privacy concerns involving technology and also an all-powerful, oppressive ruling elite that strictly governs the activities of the population with an iron fist.Orwell’s book is where we get the term Big Brother from, such as when people say Big Brother is watching you. When people say this, they’re referring to the omniscient surveillance system described in the novel that continuously watched and listened to people-even in their own homes. When we call something Orwellian to describe the invasiveness of certain technology or government policies, we are also referring to George Orwell’s nightmarish vision he described in his novel. There are several other terms that Orwell himself coined in Nineteen Eighty-Four, such as doublethink, thoughtcrime, and memory hole, which have also become part of our vernacular.
Even if you have not read the book or seen the film, you are still undoubtedly familiar with the issues that make up the storyline, such as the high-tech surveillance system watching and listening to everyone in order to keep them in line with the government (called the Party in the novel). You are probably also familiar with the concept of a small elite ruling class (what Orwell calls the Inner Party) living in luxury and wielding unimaginable power over lower level citizens. In the novel, people have lost their freedom, their critical thinking skills, and even the ability to love due to the cultural depths society has sunk to as a result of Big Brother’s control. The reason Nineteen Eighty-Four remains so popular, and the reason society has adopted vocabulary from the book, is because it serves as more than merely a fictional novel for the reader’s entertainment. The novel served (and continues to serve) as a stark warning of what the future may hold if we don’t resist invasive technology and oppressive government policies, or if the population at large becomes so lost in a world of pop culture, sports entertainment, or our own selfish desires, that we simply don’t care. My new non-fiction book, Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True, looks at technology that now exists or is under development and will exist in the near future, that threatens to make our world just as horrific or even worse than the world George Orwell described. I have assembled information from mainstream news sources, industry experts, and even patent numbers of the most invasive and sinister Orwellian devices anyone could dream of. We will also look at actual government programs and policies that seem as if they came right out of Orwell’s dark imagination, such as the government secretly paying mainstream media reporters to act as gate-keepers and propagandists for the establishment, and the FBI illegally spying on and smearing peaceful political activists who were seen as problematic.I am certainly not anti-technology. If you have ever left your cell phone at home when you’ve left the house for the day, you’ve realized how much we depend on technology for what have become common and necessary activities. If you’ve ever been at home when the electricity unexpectedly goes out, you have also realized how much we take for granted in our modern world.
Unfortunately, with tremendous advances in technology often come unforeseen consequences. Nobody could have envisioned young teenage girls taking nude photos of themselves with their cell phone cameras and sending them to their boyfriends, and then having the boyfriends forward them to others, eventually ending up on the cell phone of someone over the age of eighteen, resulting in what is essentially child pornography in their possession. The music and film industries certainly didn’t anticipate millions of Internet users downloading music and movies for free, sometimes before the products are even officially released. And when Albert Einstein was searching for the laws of physics to learn how our Universe functioned, he could have never imagined that his work would be used to design weapons capable of destroying the entire earth. It seems that the dark minds of men in power always strive to build sinister devices designed to enable them to hold onto their power, no matter how disastrous the consequences.In my book I will show you some of the sinister inventions currently in operation, as well as the ones on the drawing boards, and the ones mad scientists are hoping to one day create. Facial recognition video cameras that can pick you out of a crowd of tens of thousands of people in a split second, machines that can read your mind, high-tech killer-robots, psychotronic weapons that can literally put voices in people’s heads, and more. Like a Pandora’s Box, once much of this technology is created, there will be little hope of stopping it or even regulating it.If one reads old Popular Mechanics magazines from the 1950′s, one can realize how wrong, and even silly, the techno-utopian dreamers were in the past. Many were led to believe that by the twenty-first century we would all be living lives of luxury like the Jetsons, with large blocks of free time to enjoy ourselves as we had most manual labor and menial tasks taken care of by robots and computers. Yet more than a decade into the twenty-first century, we still need to spend time cooking and cleaning, and commuting to work and raising the kids, and fixing up the house and countless other tasks and obligations that are required of us in our daily lives. Our cars must still continuously be maintained, the oil needs to be changed, the engine serviced, the tires rotated and replaced, and the average vehicle now costs as much as a house did for people just two generations ago. The grass still needs to be cut, the bushes need to be trimmed, and things around the house continue to break and need to be fixed or replaced. People are working longer hours, having less time with their families, having to retire later in life, and are having less savings than past generations. Where is this techno-utopia that so many had promised would come in the near future?
Instead of living lives of luxury and leisure, now many people can’t escape their job even after they leave the office. Where once we left work and were outside of the reach of our boss, now he or she can call us on our cell phone at anytime, day or night, and expects a promptly returned phone call or e-mail.People are being turned into numbers and statistics, and mathematical formulas are used by employers to determine whether an employee is being efficient enough. It’s difficult to get a person on the phone when calling a company’s customer service department, and social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace have turned everyone into their own favorite celebrity and supplement actual friendships and interactions. People don’t need to get together for a dinner party to catch up on each other’s lives anymore; we just monitor their newsfeed on Facebook from the comfort of our own home while sitting in our favorite chair getting fatter from lack of exercise and a poor diet. Where we once discussed politics and religion with our friends and neighbors, such topics have become taboo and are replaced with the enticing entertainment of celebrity news as most people feel that it is more important to know about who our favorite celebrities are dating than it is to know what bills are being introduced and voted on in the halls of Congress or our own city council. It’s interesting that while people seem to be getting dumber, computers are getting smarter.We are becoming a nation of morons who can’t think for themselves, and are being dehumanized into nothing more than a mentally enslaved workforce who are constantly being monitored, databased, and kept in line by the fear of the omniscient Big Brother technology that has gotten so advanced and so cheap, that the watchful eyes of surveillance cameras are mass produced, almost as if they were disposable.
At a presentation at the 2010 DICE Summit (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain), an annual meeting of videogame executives, Jesse Schell, the former Creative Director of the Disney Imagineering Virtual Reality Studio, gave a speech on the future of gaming and talked about how in the future, Before too long we’re going to get to the point where every soda can, [and] every cereal box is going to be able to have a CPU, a screen, and a camera on board it, and a Wi-Fi connecter so that it can be connected to the Internet.He concluded his speech by saying that our children and grandchildren will be able to know exactly what books we’ve read, what foods we ate, and practically everything we’ve done in our entire lives. He gave this speech not to warn people about these Orwellian technologies, but he was extremely excited about them, and looked forward to them.You have no idea what books your grandparents read, or where they went on a daily basis, but these sensors that we’re going to have on us and all around us everywhere are going to be tracking and watching what we’re doing forever, Schell said. He concludes by saying that because we will all be constantly watched and our actions and interests databased forever, that we’ll possibly be better people and be nicer and make better decisions because of the fear of judgment from others. Is this the kind of world you want to live in? 23 February 2011: The difference with Muslim cleric Abdul Alim Musa is he is not from the Middle East, but rather an African-American named Clarence Reams with a long criminal past. Known by his criminal nom de guerre, Big Hank, instead of what he calls his slave name, Musa was an international drug dealer and well-known criminal personality in Oakland, California who converted to Islam while in the U.S. prison system. One source for this article has described Musa’s adoption of militant Islam as payback for the U.S. government putting him behind bars, an old adage the enemy of my enemy is my friend.He operates a Muslim group called Sabiqun that seeks to establish an Islamic world order and is an honored guest speaking at mosques in California and anti-Israel events at colleges like UC Irvine and UCLA.Musa has gone on record publicly stating that Jews are the enemy of humanity and he openly supports both Hamas and Hezbollah, the Iranian terrorist proxies. Musa is a perfect example how the militant Islamists take people from the lower classes in our society and elevate them in stature to promote an internal revolution against the established state. Besides lecturing at other mosques in the US besides his own, Musa lectures at universities and colleges where he is a frequent guest of the Muslims Students Associations that operate at the behest of the Saudis.While in Oakland during the 1960s, Musa associated with H. Rap Brown, who later also adopted a radical version of Islam and became known as Imam Jamil al-Amin. Al-Amin was imprisoned after murdering an American black police officer during a traffic stop in Atlanta.
Big Hank was later arrested for setting up a drug dealing heroin and currency smuggling operation in Colombia, and was also charged with assaulting a federal agent. Later, he fled to Algeria, where he hooked up with several self-exiled Black Panther leaders such as the late Eldridge Cleaver. He eventually returned to the United States and turned himself in. While in prison, Big Hank converted to Islam and adopted his Arabic Islamic name. He became a radical and supported Khomeini’s 1979 Iranian Islamic revolution, believing, or at least wanting to believe that Khomeini’s oppressive regime would lead to global Islamic dominance as Iran is striving for today. Once Khomeini’s regime was installed in power, Musa declared his unwavering support for the new Iranian dictator and his program of anti-Americanism. In California he has spoken on campuses such as at UC Irvine, currently considered one of the most anti-Semitic campuses in the country by assorted civil rights organizations.

Built at a cost of $8 billion (equal to over $39 billion in inflation-adjusted dollars), TAPS moves oil 800 miles from Prudhoe Bay on Alaska’s North Slope to Valdez, a southern port in Alaska.(i) Thirty-three years after start-up in 1977, the pipeline, originally designed to move 2.1 million barrels per day, has a current flow of only 0.68 million barrels per day[ii], less than a third of its capacity due to the production decline at oil fields in Prudhoe Bay and other North Slope areas. There are far more domestic oil resources that could flow through the pipeline, but the federal government continues to deny Americans access to these energy resources.

Like most of you I realize you can’t agree with every TV or radio talk show host on every issue. However, we see the push and necessity to support our own and lift the banner of conservative common sense high, especially with this radical regime in the White House.As a national radio talk show host www.therothshow.com , I realize all too much the sound bite theatre, ratings pressure and competition, even jealousy among radio and TV hosts. I am a growing host and have done national radio and TV for years…I understand ego. At the very least hosts want to keep their jobs, grow big and make lots of money during their careers. With all that in mind I find it growingly unforgivable that who I would expect to be leaders in my field, media and entertainment, continue to marginalize, minimize and insult those daring to question Barack Obama’s eligibility.Not all the big hosts have thrown the questioning crowd under the bus including Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Lou Dobbs. I have heard them on various occasions question Obama’s eligibility. Rush even has called Obama an imposter. Yet it is still far from enough pressure and depth.The self proclaimed leaders on cutting issues Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly, the Holy Grail of no spin and media courage, apparently can’t find any courage when it comes to honestly taking on and exploring this growing issue of concern by the masses regarding Obama’s eligibility. They have insulted and demeaned birthers.
This is not just a birther opinion crises, this is a legal and constitutional crises supported and protected by the media! This is also a huge crime against America in my opinion. Should this not be a mainstream issue on ALL news shows until it is resolved? Bill O’Reilly has said on his show that he has seen the Long form Birth Certificate. That is a lie. It has been locked away and only the Certification of Live Birth has been displayed by Obama’s staff and shown to others. That is the document Hawaii offers to foreign born individuals. Some have said that if Obama had not been born in Hawaii Hillary Clinton would have found out as much as she wanted the Presidency that bad. Even if her and Bill wanted to find it and expose it she couldn’t have. She may think she is God but she ain’t. Obama has paid big bucks to lock it away well before he was elected so no one could have seen it.Beck has implied that Birthers are discrediting themselves so why should Obama show the birth certificate? How is digging for the truth to protect our country and constitution discrediting ourselves? Other conservative crusaders credited with boldness and honesty on most accounts have also minimized and insulted birthers and the eligibility issue such as Ann Coulter and Andrew Breitbart, who I interviewed at CPAC this year. Did the Owners of Fox and the money people behind Fox Beck and O’Reilly? Something has to be up since everyone of the conservative headliners has mostly gone the other way on this critical issue. They have done the opposite of displaying honesty, integrity, intelligence and courage on this growing national emergency of an issue.Recently at CPAC in DC I interviewed Dr. Jerri Corsi, who has done an in depth investigation into Obama and his eligibility. As I shared in my last article, he said the real story, regardless of where the long form birth certificate is, is that Obama lied. It is a proven fact that Obama was not born in Hawaii. Corsi has checked all records, media and hospitals in existence there and it is a fact that Obama was not born there. His new book called Where is the Birth Certificate comes out on the shelves in May but can be pre ordered now.
Dr. Corsi’s book will put much needed heat and momentum to the fire. Will the big boys and mainstream media wake up then? I’m curious how the no spin zone and other spin machines of conservative news will go when the truth of it all finally is exposed and it will be. There will be so much spin that Fox and their hosts will look like messy tornadoes twirling down the halls. America, congress and lawyers will have to pick up a very large constitutional mess. It is coming.As you consider the facts and your position, remember Governor Neil Abercrombie waltzing back and forth, I found it and have seen it….then I misspoke and haven’t seen it while we also have had Tim Adams, a Hawaii Elections Clerk in 2008 weigh in. 7. Though there have been over a dozen law suits against Obama on eligibility grounds and hero, Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin has been Court marshaled and convicted on three counts of disobeying orders. He plead guilty on four counts related to disobeying orders. He and his attorney were hoping and expecting discovery to force Obama to show his birth certificate. Lakin was not allowed discovery and exculpatory evidence. That is a crime in itself when most likely Lt. Col. Lakin is correct. Obama is NOT his commander and Chief. Oh who cares……it is just a brave, decorated Lt. Col and medical Doctor who has faithfully served his country for many years. Let him rot in prison as the real crimes take place at the White House and in our media.I will not let this go. Invent some more slander and names. I’m getting bored with those used so far.

Nothing may get by Greta, but it seems the Wisconsin world slides avalanche-like over Shepard Smith at Fox News.Shepard Smith’s conversation today with commentator Juan Williams would likely surprise loyal viewers of both Fox News and MSNBC wrote Mediaite’s savvy Matt Schneider, who concludes Smith’s Pretending (that) Wisconsin is about a fiscal crisis is malarkey.Fox News’ attempts at keeping Fair and Balanced at the forefront, sometimes sees it doing pretzel twists to live up to its slogan, at the same time sending some of its most loyal viewers to the rant corner just to shake Shep out of their heads. Shep’s repeated assertion that there is no longer a budget crisis in Wisconsin and that the battle in the state is all about politics and union-busting was most shocking because that’s the exact argument many of MSNBC’s commentators have made, and continue to be suggesting.(Matt Schneider, Feb. 23, 2011).Shep suggested that the Democratic party could be in big trouble if their biggest donors, the unions, lose their power and summed it up as bust the unions—it’s over. Furthermore, Shep brought up the facts that the Koch brothers, among others, were organizing to try to bust labor—it’s what big big business wants to do.Given that the Koch brothers contributed to the campaign of Wisconsin Governor Walker, Shep said people should not be surprised that now they want unions busted. Despite Shep claiming, I’m not taking a side on this, I’m telling you what’s going on, Williams warned Shep that just by telling the facts, you’re angering a lot of people.
Oddly, it seems Shep’s unexpected disclosure of facts does give some credence to at least the Koch brothers component of Ed Schultz’s argument that the union showdown is part of a right wing master plan. However, given that Shep adamantly declared to pretend this is about a fiscal crisis in the state of Wisconsin is malarkey, it seems like Fox News’ participation in such a master plan isn’t what Schultz might have suspected.Shep’s musings about big business organizing to try to bust labor—”it’s what big business wants to do—could be relegated to the conspiracy theory pile. If Shep were more like Greta, he would have noticed by now that big business—much of it like Government Motors, nationalized by President Obama—long ago hit the Endangered Species list.Meanwhile, Canada Free Press thinks that Shep Smith, dubbed as Shemp Smith: Dummy by talk show radio giant Mark Levin would make the perfect candidate to lead Levin’s recently struck Kumbaya Band.

24 February 2010: Remember when people who talked about a North American Union were publicly marginalized by both conservative and liberal talk show hosts? Media personalities openly stereotyped people as fools and kooks for merely asking reasonable and sensible questions. They called people conspiracy theorists and nuts even after deals were already made behind our backs – even before the ink on the treaties or contracts dried.Americans were and are called un-patriotic for asking questions and wanting the simple truth from our government about the backroom deals creating a North American Union (NAU). The NAU, of course, is just one component of the global agenda or New World Order that will consolidate power on a global scale. It’s implementation, which has been underway for the better part of the last century, will ultimately destroy American sovereignty. This agenda has never been so clear as it is now.Elected officials change, but the agenda to destroy American sovereignty or the U.S. as a nation has not. For the global agenda to work, there must be a shadow power structure that is advancing the globalist ideology, regardless of the visible power brokers and politicians. Mention such a power structure of the global elite and be prepared to be marginalized, criticized, or called paranoid. Yet, it’s clear that it exists. The world is witnessing this agenda at work at this moment as countries across the globe begin to burn. The unrest is just getting started, folks, yet too few understand what is taking place and what is being planned.
These shadow powers, or the individuals behind these orchestrated revolts are indeed no longer secret. The Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderberg Group are all guilty of illegally setting the worlds agenda without the consent of the people. These groups are composed of the world’s richest and most influential people in business and politics. They meet together to set policy in foreign affairs, and decide who will be the next face of power. By their own admission, they set such agendas.The citizens of America are supposed to be protected from such people and groups by law. That law, titled the Logan Act, prohibits United States citizens, without the authority of their office, from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments. Unfortunately for Americans, the Logan Act is trumped by the money and power of the unelected. To add salt to the deep American wound created by the real power brokers, the big six media companies and their talking heads have gone so far to celebrate the lack of media coverage or the media blackouts of these events. A simple example is the eligibility issue of Barack Hussein Obama.For the last two decades, the media no longer even tries to cover up their complicity. In an address to a meeting of the Trilateral Commission in 1991, founder David Rockefeller gloated and thanked the media for such complicity:We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.[emphasis mine].In an unprecedented move, Barack Hussein Obama became the first-ever U.S. president to chair the United Nations Security Council. Never in the history of the United Nations has a U.S. President taken the chairmanship of the powerful UN council. By design, Obama has been putting the needs of the United Nations, and therefore the global agenda, ahead of the needs of the citizens of America. Through this and other globalist plans, the sovereignty of America has been experiencing seditious attacks from within.

The goal is to implement the use of biometric chips to keep track of the denizens of North America. In the four page declaration released by the White House earlier this month, the Obama administration has partnered with Canada to create the technical standards for the collection, transmission, and matching of biometrics that enable the sharing of information on travelers in real time. Legitimate travelers, that is.Again, this is about control, not security. And this is about the creation of a North American Union at the expense of national sovereignty for a global society.History teaches us that with great power comes great corruption. It seems that we are in a time of great corruption now. If we Americans and Canadians do not regain control of our governments now, we won’t recognize our nations in just a few short years.However it is packaged, the global agenda is an act of treason. When George Orwell (pen name of Eric Blair) first published his famous novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four, it was the year 1949, and it told a dark story of what he envisioned life may be like in the future-in the year 1984. His book, as well as his name, have become synonymous with privacy concerns involving technology and also an all-powerful, oppressive ruling elite that strictly governs the activities of the population with an iron fist.Orwell’s book is where we get the term Big Brother from, such as when people say Big Brother is watching you. When people say this, they’re referring to the omniscient surveillance system described in the novel that continuously watched and listened to people-even in their own homes. When we call something Orwellian to describe the invasiveness of certain technology or government policies, we are also referring to George Orwell’s nightmarish vision he described in his novel. There are several other terms that Orwell himself coined in Nineteen Eighty-Four, such as doublethink, thoughtcrime, and memory hole, which have also become part of our vernacular.
Even if you have not read the book or seen the film, you are still undoubtedly familiar with the issues that make up the storyline, such as the high-tech surveillance system watching and listening to everyone in order to keep them in line with the government (called the Party in the novel). You are probably also familiar with the concept of a small elite ruling class (what Orwell calls the Inner Party) living in luxury and wielding unimaginable power over lower level citizens. In the novel, people have lost their freedom, their critical thinking skills, and even the ability to love due to the cultural depths society has sunk to as a result of Big Brother’s control. The reason Nineteen Eighty-Four remains so popular, and the reason society has adopted vocabulary from the book, is because it serves as more than merely a fictional novel for the reader’s entertainment. The novel served (and continues to serve) as a stark warning of what the future may hold if we don’t resist invasive technology and oppressive government policies, or if the population at large becomes so lost in a world of pop culture, sports entertainment, or our own selfish desires, that we simply don’t care. My new non-fiction book, Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True, looks at technology that now exists or is under development and will exist in the near future, that threatens to make our world just as horrific or even worse than the world George Orwell described. I have assembled information from mainstream news sources, industry experts, and even patent numbers of the most invasive and sinister Orwellian devices anyone could dream of. We will also look at actual government programs and policies that seem as if they came right out of Orwell’s dark imagination, such as the government secretly paying mainstream media reporters to act as gate-keepers and propagandists for the establishment, and the FBI illegally spying on and smearing peaceful political activists who were seen as problematic.I am certainly not anti-technology. If you have ever left your cell phone at home when you’ve left the house for the day, you’ve realized how much we depend on technology for what have become common and necessary activities. If you’ve ever been at home when the electricity unexpectedly goes out, you have also realized how much we take for granted in our modern world.
Unfortunately, with tremendous advances in technology often come unforeseen consequences. Nobody could have envisioned young teenage girls taking nude photos of themselves with their cell phone cameras and sending them to their boyfriends, and then having the boyfriends forward them to others, eventually ending up on the cell phone of someone over the age of eighteen, resulting in what is essentially child pornography in their possession. The music and film industries certainly didn’t anticipate millions of Internet users downloading music and movies for free, sometimes before the products are even officially released. And when Albert Einstein was searching for the laws of physics to learn how our Universe functioned, he could have never imagined that his work would be used to design weapons capable of destroying the entire earth. It seems that the dark minds of men in power always strive to build sinister devices designed to enable them to hold onto their power, no matter how disastrous the consequences.In my book I will show you some of the sinister inventions currently in operation, as well as the ones on the drawing boards, and the ones mad scientists are hoping to one day create. Facial recognition video cameras that can pick you out of a crowd of tens of thousands of people in a split second, machines that can read your mind, high-tech killer-robots, psychotronic weapons that can literally put voices in people’s heads, and more. You will see beyond a doubt that George Orwell’s description of Big Brother was chillingly accurate, and perhaps not as horrific as the reality we may one day face. Like a Pandora’s Box, once much of this technology is created, there will be little hope of stopping it or even regulating it.If one reads old Popular Mechanics magazines from the 1950′s, one can realize how wrong, and even silly, the techno-utopian dreamers were in the past. Many were led to believe that by the twenty-first century we would all be living lives of luxury like the Jetsons, with large blocks of free time to enjoy ourselves as we had most manual labor and menial tasks taken care of by robots and computers. Yet more than a decade into the twenty-first century, we still need to spend time cooking and cleaning, and commuting to work and raising the kids, and fixing up the house and countless other tasks and obligations that are required of us in our daily lives. Our cars must still continuously be maintained, the oil needs to be changed, the engine serviced, the tires rotated and replaced, and the average vehicle now costs as much as a house did for people just two generations ago. The grass still needs to be cut, the bushes need to be trimmed, and things around the house continue to break and need to be fixed or replaced. People are working longer hours, having less time with their families, having to retire later in life, and are having less savings than past generations. Where is this techno-utopia that so many had promised would come in the near future?
Instead of living lives of luxury and leisure, now many people can’t escape their job even after they leave the office. Where once we left work and were outside of the reach of our boss, now he or she can call us on our cell phone at anytime, day or night, and expects a promptly returned phone call or e-mail.People are being turned into numbers and statistics, and mathematical formulas are used by employers to determine whether an employee is being efficient enough. It’s difficult to get a person on the phone when calling a company’s customer service department, and social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace have turned everyone into their own favorite celebrity and supplement actual friendships and interactions. People don’t need to get together for a dinner party to catch up on each other’s lives anymore; we just monitor their newsfeed on Facebook from the comfort of our own home while sitting in our favorite chair getting fatter from lack of exercise and a poor diet. Where we once discussed politics and religion with our friends and neighbors, such topics have become taboo and are replaced with the enticing entertainment of celebrity news as most people feel that it is more important to know about who our favorite celebrities are dating than it is to know what bills are being introduced and voted on in the halls of Congress or our own city council. It’s interesting that while people seem to be getting dumber, computers are getting smarter.We are becoming a nation of morons who can’t think for themselves, and are being dehumanized into nothing more than a mentally enslaved workforce who are constantly being monitored, databased, and kept in line by the fear of the omniscient Big Brother technology that has gotten so advanced and so cheap, that the watchful eyes of surveillance cameras are mass produced, almost as if they were disposable.
At a presentation at the 2010 DICE Summit (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain), an annual meeting of videogame executives, Jesse Schell, the former Creative Director of the Disney Imagineering Virtual Reality Studio, gave a speech on the future of gaming and talked about how in the future, Before too long we’re going to get to the point where every soda can, [and] every cereal box is going to be able to have a CPU, a screen, and a camera on board it, and a Wi-Fi connecter so that it can be connected to the Internet.He concluded his speech by saying that our children and grandchildren will be able to know exactly what books we’ve read, what foods we ate, and practically everything we’ve done in our entire lives. He gave this speech not to warn people about these Orwellian technologies, but he was extremely excited about them, and looked forward to them.You have no idea what books your grandparents read, or where they went on a daily basis, but these sensors that we’re going to have on us and all around us everywhere are going to be tracking and watching what we’re doing forever, Schell said. He concludes by saying that because we will all be constantly watched and our actions and interests databased forever, that we’ll possibly be better people and be nicer and make better decisions because of the fear of judgment from others. Is this the kind of world you want to live in? 23 February 2011: The difference with Muslim cleric Abdul Alim Musa is he is not from the Middle East, but rather an African-American named Clarence Reams with a long criminal past. Known by his criminal nom de guerre, Big Hank, instead of what he calls his slave name, Musa was an international drug dealer and well-known criminal personality in Oakland, California who converted to Islam while in the U.S. prison system. One source for this article has described Musa’s adoption of militant Islam as payback for the U.S. government putting him behind bars, an old adage the enemy of my enemy is my friend.He operates a Muslim group called Sabiqun that seeks to establish an Islamic world order and is an honored guest speaking at mosques in California and anti-Israel events at colleges like UC Irvine and UCLA.Musa has gone on record publicly stating that Jews are the enemy of humanity and he openly supports both Hamas and Hezbollah, the Iranian terrorist proxies. Musa is a perfect example how the militant Islamists take people from the lower classes in our society and elevate them in stature to promote an internal revolution against the established state. Besides lecturing at other mosques in the US besides his own, Musa lectures at universities and colleges where he is a frequent guest of the Muslims Students Associations that operate at the behest of the Saudis.While in Oakland during the 1960s, Musa associated with H. Rap Brown, who later also adopted a radical version of Islam and became known as Imam Jamil al-Amin. Al-Amin was imprisoned after murdering an American black police officer during a traffic stop in Atlanta.
Big Hank was later arrested for setting up a drug dealing heroin and currency smuggling operation in Colombia, and was also charged with assaulting a federal agent. Later, he fled to Algeria, where he hooked up with several self-exiled Black Panther leaders such as the late Eldridge Cleaver. He eventually returned to the United States and turned himself in. While in prison, Big Hank converted to Islam and adopted his Arabic Islamic name. He became a radical and supported Khomeini’s 1979 Iranian Islamic revolution, believing, or at least wanting to believe that Khomeini’s oppressive regime would lead to global Islamic dominance as Iran is striving for today. Once Khomeini’s regime was installed in power, Musa declared his unwavering support for the new Iranian dictator and his program of anti-Americanism. He has made several visits since the 1980’s to Iran proclaiming himself the representative of American Muslims and pledging undying support for the regime. He has managed to ally himself with anti-American Muslims, both Sunni and Shia since then and encouraged unity of purpose as being the road to success for Islam against the United States.To promote this unity Abdul Musa uses anti-Semitism. The ADL has described his statements as a theme that propagates a radical and anti-Semitic ideology.He accuses Jews of being responsible for the slave trade prior to the 20th century to inflame African-American passions against the Jewish community in the same manner as Louis Farrakhan does with this Black Muslims group. Musa has demanded, Who ran the slave trade…who funded it? The people of Afghanistan didn’t have the intellect or historical knowledge to know that they wasn’t supposed to wipe out the Soviet Union, is that right? … We saw the fall of one so-called superpower. This is our experience. We believe that whoever this guy is from Nigeria – we don’t believe he has any ties with Islam. If you talk about the World Trade Center bombing – all of these things are done… I can give you two quick reasons, and it will solve the problem. Number one – to blame these things on Muslims. You get the Patriot Act, you get the anti-terrorism bill, you get a right to what they call stop, put a freeze, on the global Islamic movement, which has been spreading, growing, and developing. You get a chance to launch missiles, to kill, and to put a freeze on the Islamic movement. But the Islamic movement is only the first target.

His story is the story of success against unbeatable odds.Khomeini, of course, was the one who coined the phrase of the United States as being the Great Satan to be taken over by the Islamic Revolution. The flyer goes on to urge the foundation of geographical integrity in the U.S. in order to achieve the goals of Imam Khomeini, which was, of course, the overthrow of the United States. At the bottom of the flyer he notes that all donations are tax deductible.Musa and his adherents also seek to recruit from the African-American and Latin American community whenever possible. No revolution succeeds without a perceived oppressed minority feeling it is part of a new revival of their situation. House votes 244-179 to kill U.S. funding of IPCC

Just before 2 a.m. on February 19, the war on climate science showed its grip on the U.S. House of Representatives as it voted to eliminate U.S. funding for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The Republican majority, on a mostly party-line vote of 244-179, went on record as essentially saying that it no longer wishes to have the IPCC prepare its comprehensive international climate science assessments. U.S. Government Shuts Out Increased Alaskan Oil Production

In the 1970s, the United States built the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) to provide greater access to large reserves of domestic oil in Alaska. Built at a cost of $8 billion (equal to over $39 billion in inflation-adjusted dollars), TAPS moves oil 800 miles from Prudhoe Bay on Alaska’s North Slope to Valdez, a southern port in Alaska.(i) Thirty-three years after start-up in 1977, the pipeline, originally designed to move 2.1 million barrels per day, has a current flow of only 0.68 million barrels per day[ii], less than a third of its capacity due to the production decline at oil fields in Prudhoe Bay and other North Slope areas. There are far more domestic oil resources that could flow through the pipeline, but the federal government continues to deny Americans access to these energy resources.
