SINCE WHAT ISRAEL READS WILL BE FULFILLED IN THAT WEEK I WILL BE PUTTING THE WEEKLY TORAH PORTION ON FOR ALL OF US TO KEEP TRACK OF ISRAEL HAPPENINGS.

TORAH PORTION BEREISHIT GENESIS 1:1-6:8

GENESIS 1:1 - 6:8
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

GENESIS 2:1-25
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

GENESIS 3:1-24
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

GENESIS 4:1-26
1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?
10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
15 And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
21 And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

GENESIS 5:1-32
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

GENESIS 6:1-8
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

PROPHETS PORTION

ISAIAH 42:5 - 43:10
5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.
14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’S servant?
20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.
21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.

ISAIAH 43:1-10
1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

NEW TESTAMENT PORTION

10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

MATTHEW 19:3-9
3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

MARK 10:1-12
1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

JOHN 1:1-18
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:15-20
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:35-58
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

ROMANS 5:12-21
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

EPHESIANS 5:21-32
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

COLOSSIANS 1:14-17
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

1 TIMOTHY 2:11-15
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

HEBREWS 1:1-3
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

HEBREWS 3:7-4:11
7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

HEBREWS 11:1-7
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2 PETER 3:3-14
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

REVELATION 21:1-5
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

REVELATION 22:1-5
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

DEUTERONOMY 33:1 - 34:12
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
5 And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.
8 And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.
11 Bless, LORD, his substance, and accept the work of his hands: smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.
21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.
24 And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

DEUTERONOMY 34:1-12
1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,
3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
4 And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

PROPHETS PORTION

JOSHUA 1:1-18
1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.
12 And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,
13 Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.
14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;
15 Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD'S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.
16 And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.
17 According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.
18 Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.

NEW TESTAMENT PORTION

MATTHEW 17:1-10
1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

MARK 9:2-11
2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
5 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.
7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
8 And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
9 And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.
10 And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.
11 And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?

LUKE 9:29-36
29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
34 While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
36 And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

JUDE 3-4,8-10
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves

Judea and Samaria Prepare to Build
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 24,10

Jews in Judea and Samaria are preparing for the end of the construction freeze imposed on them for the past 10 months this Sunday night. Local officials have announced that they will open their offices on Sunday at midnight to begin signing building permits the minute the freeze ends.Deputy head of the Binyamin Regional Council Moti Yogev spoke to Arutz Sheva's Hebrew-language news service and said construction would resume as soon as possible. Yogev criticized the building freeze as immoral, but said local authorities in Judea and Samaria would abide by the freeze until Sunday out of respect for the rule of law. When the freeze ends, we won't seek publicity, we'll just work on building,he continued. What we want is to build as much as possible,he explained.Jewish renewal in Israel is unstoppable, he continued. “We are all witnesses to the return of the people of Israel to its land. Even if some want to get in our way – this process cannot be stopped. It's best to join in and help. Judea and Samaria will only grow stronger, and those who make trouble only create challenges to make us stronger over the course of the years,” he stated.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has faced strong pressure from the United States to continue the construction freeze. U.S. President Barack Obama addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday and told the world that America wants a continued building freeze for Judea and Samaria Jews – a statement that angered many Israelis, who accused Obama of disrespect for democracy and the will of the Israeli people.Despite the pressure, Netanyahu has repeatedly stated that building will resume as scheduled. Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas backed down this week from threats to quit negotiating with Israel if construction is allowed.

As Predicted, UNHRC Blames Israel in Flotilla Probe
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 24,10

The United Nations Human Rights Council probe of the late May flotilla clash between Israel commandos and Turkish terrorists has ended, as predicted, in a report harshly condemning Israel for the incident. The report termed Israel's response to the attempt to defy its blockade of Hamas disproportionate and brutal, and suggested that Israel be prosecuted for willful killing. The report accused Israel of a series of violations of international law.UNHRC-appointed panel members also questioned Israel's right to impose a naval blockade on Hamas, saying residents of Hamas-controlled Gaza should be allowed to import by sea as well as by land. Israel has refused to allow imports by sea due to the lack of oversight over such imports, which could allow Hamas to import weapons. In May, a group of international citizens attempted to forcibly defy Israel's naval blockade on Hamas. Israeli commandos opened fire on passengers aboard one ship, the Mavi Marmara, after soldiers were stabbed, beaten, and briefly kidnapped by members of the Turkish pro-terror group IHH. Nine IHH members were killed. The UNHRC report was conducted independently of the main body of the UN, which is carrying out its own probe. Members of the Human Rights Council announced the probe only after releasing a resolution accusing Israel of committing an outrageous attack. A UN watchdog warned at the time that the probe verdict was already set.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's office released a statement terming the UNHRC report tendentious and distorted. The UNHRC is a group most of whose decisions are based on an obsessive persecution of Israel, the statement said.Videos showing passengers on the Mavi Marmara ambushing IDF soldiers and violently attacking them as they came aboard are widely available for viewing, the statement noted. However, it went on, this did not prevent the committee from ignoring the facts and drawing false, predetermined conclusions.Major-General Giora Eiland, who led the IDF probe into the flotilla incident, slammed the UNHRC report as biased and flawed. He proposed that Israel prepare a legal defense detailing the events aboard the Mavi Marmara.Pro-Hamas activists led by former British MP George Galloway are planning to launch a large flotilla to Gaza in October. The flotilla will approach by land and by sea. IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi has warned that a clash may occur if activists try again to break the maritime blockade.(IsraelNationalNews.com)

High Alert in Jerusalem as Arab Riots Continue
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 24,10

Jerusalem police are on high alert Friday morning as Muslim prayers take place at the Al-Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount. There is concern that worshipers will be inspired to further violence, as Arab rioting near the Old City continues for a third day. There is a massive police presence in the Old City and no Muslim males under the age of 50 are being allowed on the Temple Mount.Rioters have thrown rocks at passersby, police, vehicles and buildings, wounding one officer and 11 civilians. Firebombs have also been used. Four buses sustained severe damage, and three cars were burnt.16 rioters were arrested early on Friday morning, all of them Arab residents of Jerusalem from the neighborhoods of Mei Shiloach (Silwan) and A-Tor.

Jewish residents of Mei Shiloach and Ir David (City of David) said they have been under a serious assault for the past 24 hours. Local Arabs have hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at their sukkahs. In one case, a firebomb hit a sukkah, setting it ablaze. On Wednesday night, the first night of Sukkot, an Arab mob attempted to blast its way into the Beit Yuri complex north of the Old City, home to four Jewish families. The mob tried to blow open a door using gas cannisters, and threw rocks at the building.Jewish residents of the complex said Border Police officers were at the scene, but said they had orders to use only non-lethal methods of crowd control, and would not use live fire unless the mob succeeded in bursting into the building. The rioters were ultimately unable to access the complex, and continued to throw rocks instead.Jerusalem Police Chief Aharon Franco said Sukkot events in the capital would take place as scheduled despite the unrest.Police are planning for possible riots on Tuesday, which will mark 10 years since the day that former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, then the leader of the Knesset opposition, visited the Temple Mount. Muslim worshipers reacted to the presence of a Jewish leader on the Temple Mount with riots so intense that they were considered by many to be the first attacks of the Oslo War (Second Intifada).(IsraelNationalNews.com)

Israel: UN Absence due to Sukkot
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 24,10

Following speculation over the absence of Israeli delegates from the United Nations session Thursday, the Israeli consulate in New York released a statement explaining that the session took place on the first day o fthe holiday of Sukkot. Israel traditionally does not send delegates to UN meetings taking place on holidays or on the Sabbath (Shabbat). Some had suggested that Israel missed the assembly in response to United States President Barack Obama's decision to focus on the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority in his UN speech. Obama called on Israel to continue a 10-month construction freeze in Judea and Samaria, a move that angered many Israelis.Television cameras showed empty seats at Israel's UN desk during his address. The New York Times described Israel's absence as odd, while an LA times writer referred to suspicions that “Israel was snubbing Obama as boycotting his speech.A writer for Politico, while noting that Thursday was Sukkot, suggested that Israel was deliberately keeping a low profile and quoted an anonymous U.S. official as saying, If Bibi [Netanyahu] had good news to deliver on the freeze, he would have been here.Consulate officials said the absence had nothing to do with Obama's speech. The U.S. president was informed in advance that Israeli delegates would not be present, they said. While Israeli Ambassador to the UN Meron Reuben was not present Thursday for Obama's speech, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and President Shimon Peres attended a speech given by Obama on Wednesday at the UN's Millennium Development Goals summit.(IsraelNationalNews.com)

Gold Breaks Psychological Barrier Kurt Nimmo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyL1EL0MTTU&feature=player_embedded

Gold has continued its astronomical ascent, reaching a new record-breaking high of $1,300 an ounce today. This is the fourth day of record high gold prices.Earlier in the week, the precious metal surged after Federal Reserve boss Bernanke said the banksters will provide extra monetary stimulus to boost the collapsing economy. The Fed announced it will manipulate the money supply — i.e., it will crank up the printing machines, known in polite circles as quantitative easing — in a concerted effort to create inflation. The Fed says it is artifically creating inflation in response an unemployment rate that is beginning to rival that of the Great Depression.Skyrocketing gold prices are happening for a reason, writes James Turk, co-author of The Collapse of the Dollar and publisher of the Free Gold Money Report. The precious metals are sensitive to changes in inflation, both actual as well as future expectations.Investors have moved into gold as an alternative to fiat currencies as the global economy continues its engineered collapse. In the second quarter of 2010, all economic indicators were down and gold demand was up 36%.

As Bob Chapman of the International Forecaster notes, over the last 18 months there has been an exodus of funds from the stock market to bonds, gold and silver and commodities. Why do you think since 1988 our government and those who control our government have suppressed gold and silver prices? Gold is the barometer of fear, the only real currency that owes no one anything. Gold and silver are the antithesis of fiat money. They are the only way to restore order out of chaos,he writes.Silver has also reached a new 30-year high. It traded at $21.40 US an ounce, the highest level since the Hunt Brothers attempted to corner the market in the 1980s. Silver has surged 20 per cent in the past month. Silver has advanced 27 percent this year, outperforming gold, global equities, Treasuries and most industrial metals, reports Bloomberg.David Levenstein, a leading expert on investing in precious metals, predicts silver will hit stellar levels over the next year. The long awaited break above the former key resistance level of $18.50 gave an extremely positive sign to silver bulls. It gave a clear signal that the price of silver was set to go higher. However, the momentum of the move we have seen in the last few weeks has been more than what I anticipated. The price blew through $19.50 and then $20. It now challenges the $21 level, last seen some 30 months ago. A break through this level would be extremely bullish and I believe we could see prices move towards $30 by the end of 2011,Levenstein wrote yesterday, before silver reached $21.40 an ounce.

EU must embrace up-and-coming Turkey, German FM says-Westerwelle. The German foreign minister also made headlines this week by marrying his partner Michael Mronz (Photo: consilium.europa.eu)ANDREW RETTMAN 23.09.2010 @ 09:24 CET

German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle has reiterated his support for Turkey's entry into the EU and said the Muslim-majority country is moving to the centre of the world stage.Speaking in an interview with the Wall Street Journal out on Thursday (23 September), the leader of Germany's liberal Free Democratic Party said: Nobody should rashly snub Turkey by slamming the door in its face after all its efforts. He warned that EU-Turkey talks could unravel unless further progress is made quickly: Now we must act wisely and early enough so that we don't arrive at a dead end by the end of this year. The EU in June opened talks with Turkey on common food safety and veterinary health standards. The move brought to 13 out of 35 the number of accession chapters opened by the EU in the five and a half years since Turkey became an EU candidate.Eight chapters are frozen due to its territorial dispute with Cyprus. Meanwhile, the FDP's own coalition partner, German Chancellor Angela Merkel's centre-right CDU party, as well as Austria and France, continue to say it should become a privileged partner instead of a fully-fledged EU member. It sometimes amazes me how self-assuredly countries that are influential today assume that things will always be that way ... It's only a question of time before these young, dynamic societies [such as Turkey] are also among the political, cultural and intellectual centers of the world,Mr Westerwelle said. The German minister's remarks were echoed by Turkish deputy prime minister Ali Babacan.

The weight of the European economy in the world has shrunk and will continue to shrink and only with enlargement the EU will be able to protect its power and influence,Mr Babacan said at the Foreign Policy Association's World Leadership Forum in New York on Wednesday, according to AFP.When Turkey becomes a member of the EU, Turkey is not going to be in a secondary position and that's one of the reasons why countries like Germany and France are quite nervous about our membership,he added.
Voting power in the EU Council is calculated on the basis of population. With 77 million people already and with birth rates far higher than those in Western Europe, Turkey would be on a path to become the most powerful single EU country shortly after 2020.The Turkish mission to the EU in Brussels is planning by the end of the year to leave its joint premises with the Turkish embassy and consulate to Belgium and to open up shop in a separate building near the US embassy. You can take this as a sign of our faith in the enlargement process, the Turkish ambassador to the EU, Selim Kuneralp, told this website. Mr Westerwelle in the Wall Street Journal and the European Commission earlier welcomed the 12 September referendum result in Turkey, which allowed civilian courts for the first time to try military personnel for crimes against the state. Some EU diplomats are not sure the move is a step in the right direction, however. You cannot say it openly and it is a paradox. But while the EU is bound to publicly support the reduction of military influence on the political scene in any third country, in the case of Turkey the army is a guardian of secularism and normal democratic development,an EU diplomatic contact said.

Bill Clinton Causes Anger with Slam of Russian Israelis
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 23,10

Former United States President Bill Clinton upset many Israelis this week by putting much of the blame for failed negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority on Russian Israelis. According to Clinton, Israelis who immigrated from the former Soviet Union and their families are more likely to oppose peace. Many current Israeli MKs are immigrants from the FSU, as is Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home) party released a statement condemning Clinton's remarks as crude generalizations.Russian immigrants, as the other citizens of Israeli, yearn for true peace based on recognition of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people, the statement read. Clinton should remember that it was then-PA Chairman Yasser Arafat, and not Israeli leaders, who rejected his peace proposal ten years ago, it continued.Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu rejected Clinton's statements as well, saying, As an old friend of Israel, Clinton surely knows that the immigrations have made a huge contribution to the strengthening and development of Israel and the IDF.MK Lia Shem Tov, head of the Knesset committee on aliyah (immigration) and absorption, said her committee would meet after the holidays to discuss Clinton's statements. She pointed out that Israel is currently engaged in negotiations with PA, and that it is the PA that has repeatedly threatened to end talks.Immigrants from the former Soviet Union are Zionists who love their country, and like other citizens, want to live their lives in peace and security. The argument that immigrations oppose peace is completely baseless and stems from a total lack of understanding of this community, she said.

Clinton was involved in Middle East peace negotiations several years ago. His wife Hillary Clinton is the current U.S. Secretary of State and is deeply involved in ongoing Israel-PA talks. His comments were made in a discussion with reporters in New York. An increasing number of the young people in the IDF are the children of Russians and settlers, the hardest-core people against a division of the land. This presents a staggering problem,Clinton claimed. It's a different Israel. 16 percent of Israelis speak Russian,he added.Clinton claimed that Russians are less likely to support territorial concessions to the PA, They just got there, it's their country, they've made a commitment to the future there. They can't imagine any historical or other claims that would justify dividing it.He ranked other Israelis by their perceived willingness to make peace, putting Israelis whose families have been in the land for hundreds of years in first place, followed by Israelis with roots in Europe, and then Moroccans. He recounted an alleged conversation at the Camp David summit with former MK Natan Sharansky, a former Soviet dissident who now heads the Jewish Agency. Clinton said he had asked Sharansky about his opposition to peace with the PA, and was told, I can't vote for this, I'm Russian... I came from one of the biggest countries in the world to one of the smallest. You want me to cut it in half. No, thank you.Clinton said he replied that even without Judea and Samaria, Israeli would be a lot bigger than your jail cell, a reference to Sharansky's stay in a Soviet prison.Sharansky later said that the alleged conversation had not taken place. I appreciate President Clinton's commitment to peace... However, as to the basic facts, I was never at Camp David and never had the opportunity to discuss the negotiations there with President Clinton,he said.(IsraelNationalNews.com)

Jewish Children Targeted in Hevron
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 23,10

Young Arab men have targeted Jewish children twice this week in the city of Hevron. One attacker repeatedly exposed himself to young Jewish girls. He was arrested on Thursday.Earlier in the week, an eight-year-old Jewish boy was attacked by a gang of Arab men as he made his way to school. His attackers ran off and hid in a nearby Arab school.Instead of turning the attackers out, teachers at the school gave them shelter and prevented IDF soldiers or police from entering the building to search for them. The principal also barred security forces from entering.Israeli police surrounded the building, but did not enter. Jewish residents of Hevron began to gather outside the gates of the school and held a spontaneous rally calling on police to enforce the law on Palestinian Authority Arab attackers as well as Israelis.Police eventually brought about the attackers' surrender. The group walked out to a waiting police car, and were arrested and taken to a nearby station for questioning.(IsraelNationalNews.com)

Obama Admin predicts small scale terror… in time for elections, again?
Aaron Dykes JonesReport.com September 23, 2010

Terrorism concerns necessarily hinge on fear, and it is now completely predictable that an otherwise unpopular Obama Administration would roll out the threat of terror to bolster support for the 2010 elections. The Washington Post reports that the Risk of small-scale attacks by al-Qaeda and its allies is rising, officials say. This alarming headline comes in concert with comments from President Obama about absorbing a terror attack, as well as hyperbolic warnings from Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano before Congress that al Qaeda is recruiting for homeland attacks. The Washington Post writes:Al-Qaeda and its allies are likely to attempt small-scale, less sophisticated terrorist attacks in the United States, senior Obama administration officials said Wednesday, noting that it’s extremely difficult to detect such threats in advance.Unlike large-scale, coordinated, catastrophic attacks, executing smaller-scale attacks requires less planning and fewer pre-operational steps, said Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, testifying before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Accordingly, there are fewer opportunities to detect such an attack before it occurs. The main thrust of these timely warnings is to scare the public, not to share intelligence analysis or stop an attack. It is clear from the context that there is no basis for expecting an attack– the evidence cited by Napolitano & co. includes reference to the attempted underwear bombing on a flight to Detroit– proven to be a falsehood, as eyewitnesses on the plane contradict the official account. Homeland Security also cites the failed Times Square car bombing– an incident that didn’t include any real explosives or any connection to al Qaeda at all. Napolitano further links this terror threat with the alleged rise of domestic extremism, which has never been qualified or demonstrated, but only hyped via the MIAC and Homeland Security reports issued by DHS earlier in the Obama Administration. Those reports merely speculate that incidents will likely occur based on blanket-mass profiling– a mirror of the Administration’s current attempt to spark worry and fear.

These are the same tactics the Bush Administration admittedly used for political expediency post-9/11– threats without substance, but useful for enlarging a projected threat. Recall that so-called Bin Laden tapes would consistently emerge just prior to key elections or that the terror alert levels would be elevated to re-enforce the fear in the populace for purely political purposes. CIA officials have now admitted to faking Bin Laden videos. Is it any wonder Obama would now discuss absorbing a terror attack in the U.S. or that Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano would revive the script of homeland terror threats and the pre-programmed idea of small-scale al Qaeda attacks? Is it a coincidence that Obama advisor Robert Shapiro suggested this summer that only a large-scale terror attack could counter President Obama’s credibility crisis:He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can’t think of how he could do that.

9/11 was obviously a ace-card in the Bush Administration’s public relations deck; the Oklahoma City Bombing bolstered Bill Clinton’s image for a second term. Would the Obama Administration use an attack any differently? Who orchestrates these talking points and baseless forecasts of terror? Why is Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham simultaneously also cynically stating that another terror attack is imminent? Political expediency, not the omnipresence of al Qaeda, is the only logical answer. If the administration has verifiable intel, they should stop any such attempts, not scare up political points.

UN: Delegates Walk Out as Ahmadinejad Hints US Gov't Behind 9/11
by Gil Ronen SEPT 23,10

United States delegates to the United Nations walked out in the middle of a speech by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Thursday, as the Iranian leader floated a theory that elements within the US government orchestrated the September 11, 2001 attacks on America.A propaganda machine began to work after 9/11, he said. It was said that some 3,000 people were killed on 9/11, for which we were all very saddened, but in Afghanistan and Iraq hundreds of thousands have been killed since then, he accused.Ahmadinejad said that there were three viewpoints regarding who was behind the 9/11 attack: The first, he explained was that a very sophisticated terrorist group did it. The second was that some segments within the US government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining US economy and in order to save the Zionist regime. This view, Ahmadinejad said, was the one most widely held among the nations of the world. A third opinion was that the attack was carried out by a terrorist group, but that the American government took advantage of the situation.

When Ahmadinejad reached the second theory, US delegates walked out. Ahmedinejad went on to call for an independent UN investigation of the 9/11 massacre.Ahmadinejad attacked Israel several times in his speech, and said that the Zionists have committed the most horrible crimes against defenseless people in their wars against Lebanon and Gaza.Regarding women's rights, he said that the tendency of toughening the soul and behavior of women deprives them of their basic right to be loving mothers and devoted wives. It would result in a more violent society with irreversible defects.(IsraelNationalNews.com)

Obama Slammed as Racist,Ignorant Over UN Speech
by Maayana Miskin SEPT 23,10

United States President Barack Obama was criticized Thursday after calling on Israel to continue to forbid Jews to build in Judea and Samaria, in a speech to the United Nations.Israel's settlement moratorium has made a difference on the ground, and improved the atmosphere for talks,he said. We believe that the moratorium should be extended. We also believe that talks should press on until completed.Regarding talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Obama said, We can say that this time it will be different, that this time, we will not let terror, or turbulence, or posturing, or petty politics stand in the way.If talks succeed, he said, we can have an agreement that will lead to a new member of the United Nations – an independent, sovereign state of Palestine, living in peace with Israel.Obama's call to continue the construction freeze led Samaria Regional Council head Gershon Mesika to term the U.S. president racist and ignorant.Hussein Obama is a racist, arrogant politician who really and truly believes, apparently due to ignorance, that Israel is a dictatorship like the rest of the countries in the Middle East, and that its leaders can pull tricks despite the will of the people,he said. Most Israelis oppose the construction freeze, Mesika said, describing the freeze as a racist step against Jews alone.

MK Danny Danon (Likud) dimissed Obama's pressure, saying, Obama is welcome to turn on CNN on Sunday and watch the tractors resume construction in the land of Israel. He expressed concern over the president's statements, saying that whoever believes that peace depends on a construction freeze is out of touch with reality, and should not play a part in peace talks.MKs Aryeh Eldad (National Union) and Zev Elkin (Likud) of the Knesset Lobby for the Land of Israel called on Obama to honor the democratic decision of Israel's citizens, who voted in favor of strengthening Jewish cities in Judea and Samaria, and against concessions and withdrawals.PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas said he was pleased with Obama's speech. In his own speech, Abbas said that he is ready for peace.(IsraelNationalNews.com)

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

DANIEL 12:4,1
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

REVELATION 13:1-3,7,8,12,16-18
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
16 And he causeth all,(WORLD SOCIALISM) both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

REVELATION 17:3,7,9-10,12,18
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent.James Paul Warburg appearing before the Senate on 7th February 1950

Like a famous WWII Belgian General,Paul Henry Spock said in 1957:We need no commission, we have already too many. What we need is a man who is great enough to be able to keep all the people in subjection to himself and to lift us out of the economic bog into which we threaten to sink. Send us such a man. Be he a god or a devil, we will accept him.And today, sadly, the world is indeed ready for such a man.

Proposed Law Would Allow Justice Department to Shut Down Websites
Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com September 23, 2010

The Senate Committee on the Judiciary will consider action today on a bill entitled Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act, ostensibly designed to allow the Justice Department to combat copyright infringement. The legislation authorizes the Justice Department to file a court order against the domain name and seek an order from the court stating that the domain name is being used to access a website that is engaging in illegal activities, reports TechNewsDaily.Proposed legislation would allow the Justice Department to shut down websites and block servers in foreign countries. Photo: Jamison Judd.In addition, the bill contains provisions to block sites with domain names and TLDs (top-level domains) that are maintained by overseas companies, which are immune to US laws. The bipartisan legislation amounts to the Holy Grail of intellectual-property enforcement, writes David Kravets for Wired. Websites eligible for Justice Department targeting – if the measure is approved – must be dedicated to infringing activities, according to the text’s language. A site can be subject to civil forfeiture if it’s primarily designed as a pirate site with no demonstrable, commercially significant purpose or use other than to distribute pirated or counterfeited wares, according to Kravets.

Congress and the Obama administration, however, have demonstrated antipathy toward the idea of a free and open internet regardless of copyright infringement. Earlier this year, Senator Joe Lieberman pushed the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, legislation designed to give Obama dictatorial power to shut down the internet under the rubric of national security.Senators pushing the bill rejected the claim that the bill was a kill switch for the Internet, not by denying that Obama would be given the authority to shut down the Internet as part of this legislation, but by arguing that he already had the power to do so,Paul Joseph Watson reported on June 25, 2010.As Philip Giraldi notes, the government continues to invent excuses to intervene into the internet. All of these arguments for intervention are essentially themselves fraudulent and are in reality being exploited by those who favor big government and state control, writes Giraldi. The real reason for controlling the internet is to restrict access to information, something every government seeks to do.In July, a hosting company pulled the plug on Blogetery, a blog website, after the FBI told the hosting service that a blog on the site had posted bomb-making information. Sources close to the investigation say that included in those materials were the names of American citizens targeted for assassination by al-Qaeda. Messages from Osama bin Laden and other leaders of the terrorist organization, as well as bomb-making tips, were also allegedly found on the server,CNet News reported on July 19.The extreme response implies a possible presumed terrorist connection, but it is important to note that no one was charged with any actual offense, revealing that the government can close down sites based only on suspicion, writes Giraldi. On Wednesday, senior Obama administration officials argued that al-Qaeda inspiration… has become increasingly accessible through the Internet, and English-language Web sites are tailored to address the unique concerns of U.S.-based extremists, according to the Washington Post.

Is it possible, in the event the Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act is enacted, the government will use the law to shut down disfavored websites, using the excuse of copyright infringement? In 2009, the great-grandson of John D. Rockefeller, nephew of banker David Rockefeller, and former Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller said the internet not only represents a threat to national security, but also said we would all be better off if the technology had never been invented. The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act is the latest effort by the government to control and eventually roll back the free and open internet under the guise of protecting copyright. In 2008, Alex Jones detailed government efforts to shut down the internet and kill off the most effective technology ever devised to spread truth and counter government and corporate media propaganda.

The Globalists Plan for a Coming World Currency
Mark Matheny Sic Semper Tyrannis September 23, 2010

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds_qGXbxK-4&feature=player_embedded

What used to be talked about as conspiracy theory is now being discussed openly among the nations of the world. A global currency called the Bancor may soon be the global currency, and along with it a global central bank.Calls for a global currency began to come about after WWII, when John Maynard Keynes and the British government proposed the Bancor as a world reserve currency.Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes her laws. Those were the words of Mayer Amscel Rothschild of the Elite Rothschild Banking Family of Europe. And it is apparent that those in power hope to gain control of not only a single nation’s money, but of all nations’ monetary systems into a single Central Bank with a Global Currency. In that instance, whoever controls the monetary system of the world, will in effect control the policies and laws globally as well. One of the priliminary measures of incorporating a global currency, however, seems to be the destruction of currencies around the globe in order to justify its inception.Steps for bringing about this New World Order currency have been in the works for a long time, and the proponents are patient and deliberate. Calls for a global currency began to come about after WWII, when John Maynard Keynes and the British government proposed the Bancor as a world reserve currency.Although it has taken time and effort, it looks as though the current economic crisis has set the stage for the demise of the dollar as a world reserve currency to make way for the proposed Bancor. The Federal Reserve and our government are also in on the plan apparently, as the Fed continues to devalue the dollar through easing as they call it, or printing more and more of it. Our government then continues to grow and spend more and more as well, only to exasterbate the problem.Of course, Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner said back in 2009 that the U.S. would be open to a world currency as well!

In this video Geithner was at a Council on Foreign Relations conference, and was asked about a proposal from China’s Central Bank Governor to expand the role of the IMF’s use of SDRs (Special Drawing Rights), whereupon Geithner said ..We’re actually quite open to that suggestion.Geithner then went on further to say however, that ..But you should think of it as rather evolutionary building on the current architecture, rather than to moving us to a global monetary union. Geithner obviously knows that increasing the use of SDRs to the IMF will eventually make way for a global monetary union as he puts it.How do I know this? In a recent document by the International Monetary Fund, drafted on April 13, 2010 titled Reserve Accumulation and International Monetary Stability , the report shows that while there are benefits to the use of SDRs, there are also some limitations and drawbacks.

One of those drawbacks stated in the same document is the fact that the SDR is not a currency:From SDR to Bancor. A limitation of the SDR as discussed previously is that it is not a currency. Both the SDR and SDR-denominated instruments need to be converted eventually to a national currency for most payments or interventions in foreign exchange markets, which adds to cumbersome use in transactions. and though an SDR-based system would move away from a dominant currency, the SDR’r value remains heavily linked to conditions and performance of the major component countries.A more ambitious reform option would be to build on the previous ideas and develop, over time, a global currency. Pg 26. (emphasis mine)Also to be noticed is the latter portion of the video, where Geithner says these very pertinent words:It is very important just to underscore that… the future evolution of the dollar’s role in the system, depends really primarilly on how effective we are here in the United States, in getting not just recovery back on track, our financial system repaired, but we get our fiscal position back to the point where people will judge it as sustainable..If these are the parameters for avoiding a global currency, then we are in serious trouble. It looks as though we may see the bancor soon.In an article by James Turk on Kitco.com, he states clearly that the Fed is printing too much money and rapidly devaluating the dollar. He states in the article that commodity prices are rising not because of good economic activity, but because of what the Fed calls quantitative easing. He states two reasons for this:

1. Because too much money has been printed for years, not just over the past three months, which can be illustrated by comparing M3 to the total US population. In 2000 there were $26,977 in circulation, as measured by M3, for every man, woman and child in the United States. That amount has ballooned to $46,538, a 7.1% annual rate of growth, which is more than 7-times the 0.9% annual rate of population growth during this period.

2. Demand for money is usually ignored, but it is an important part of the equation. Unfortunately, demand cannot be measured, so we again need to rely on observations of market prices to determine the prevailing trend in the demand for dollars at any moment. So, for example, let’s look at the US Dollar Index, which measures the dollar’s rate of exchange against a basket of currencies. While commodities have been rising since June 4th, the Dollar Index has been falling. It is down 7.9% over this period, a 27.6% annualized rate of decline. Given that people are opting to hold other currencies in preference to the dollar, as evidenced by the dollar’s falling exchange rate, it is clear that the demand for the dollar is falling. In 2009 on CNBC, Stephen Gallo essentially spoke of the same reasons for the current crisis, and the possibility of a global currency and world bank as a result of it :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izibupjHQig&feature=player_embedded
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds_qGXbxK-4&feature=player_embedded

Carrol Quigely stated a similar development of a world bank in collaboration with central banks around the world, but with far more sinister motives and not the rosy picture Mr. Stephen Gallo is painting:The powers of financial capitalism had another far reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements, arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the worlds central banks which were themselves private corporations. The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.Tragedy and Hope: A History of The World in Our Time (Macmillan Company, 1966,) Professor Carroll Quigley of Georgetown University.

The housing market collapse, auto industry government takover, Wall Street and Banker bailouts, as well as the reduction in manufacturing here in the United States among other things, are all contrived events by the Elites in order to systematically crush our economy and our currency, in order to make way for this ominous takeover of the world’s monetary systems and the completion of a New World Order Feudalistic Dictatorship.

Typhoon Fanapi kills 54 in China: state media
– Thu Sep 23, 6:35 am ET

BEIJING (AFP) – Typhoon Fanapi, one of the strongest storms to hit China in years, has left 54 people dead and 42 missing in flooding and landslides in the south of the country, state media said on Thursday.Xinhua news agency said 79,000 people had been evacuated due to Fanapi, which hit China on Monday a day after raking Taiwan with heavy rains, killing two people and leaving more than 100 injured on the island.

All of China's deaths occurred in the southern province of Guangdong, which has been battered by its worst rains in a century, it said.Authorities in Guangdong had to use helicopters to air-drop relief supplies to victims in some areas, it added, quoting provincial flood control authorities.Of those missing, 25 people disappeared in a rain-triggered mudslide, state media reports had said.Typhoon-related disasters have destroyed more than 3,600 homes and caused economic losses in excess of two billion yuan (300 million dollars), Xinhua said.Fanapi made landfall in Fujian province in the southeast but no casualties have been reported there. The storm, which has weakened to a low-pressure system, has moved westward, bringing torrential rains in its wake and hitting Guangdong hardest. At its strongest point, when it hit Taiwan on Sunday, Fanapi was packing winds of up to 220 kilometres an hour and dumped up to 100 centimetres of rain in the south of the island. This summer, floods and related disasters triggered by torrential rains ravaged wide areas of China, killing more than 3,100 people and causing the evacuation of more than 15 million, according to government figures.

India floods kill 17 as millions flee rising water By BISWAJEET BANERJEE, Associated Press Writer – Thu Sep 23, 6:21 am ET

LUCKNOW, India – Raging floodwaters triggered by heavy rain in northern India have killed at least 17 people, washed away thousands of homes and forced some 2 million people to evacuate in a 24 hour period, officials said Thursday.A large swathe of Uttar Pradesh state has been covered by floodwaters spilling over the banks of several rivers that crisscross the region, state spokesman Diwakar Tripathi said. Soldiers and paramilitary troops were working to evacuate people from marooned villages and move them to relief camps in safer areas. At least 17 people have died overnight. More than a thousand houses have been washed away. Large areas are under water,Tripathi said.Northern India has experienced unprecedented rain since August, according to the India Meteorological Department. Most rivers are flowing above the danger mark, including the Yamuna and Ganges that run through Uttar Pradesh.

Temporary shelters and medical facilities were being set up Thursday at relief camps in the state, while army helicopters were dropping food and water packets for people stranded in remote villages, said K.K. Sinha, a relief official. One of the hardest-hit areas is the industrial town of Moradabad, where some 200,000 people had to be evacuated from the rising water, said Suresh Tomar, a district official. There was also extensive damage to farmland in the state, with crops worth around 35 billion rupees ($750 million) destroyed, Tripathi said.More rain was forecast for the coming days and a flood alert has been issued for 18 districts in Uttar Pradesh. In neighboring Pakistan, monsoon floods have killed more than 1,700 people and damaged or destroyed nearly 1.9 million homes in the past six weeks.

Obama asks Wen for more action on yuan By Paul Eckert And Steve Holland – Thu Sep 23, 6:49 pm ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) – President Barack Obama urged Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Thursday to take rapid steps to address a dispute over the value of China's currency and made clear the United States would protect its economic interests.A two-hour meeting between Obama and Wen on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly was dominated by a lengthy, candid discussion about an issue that has been a persistent irritant in U.S.-Chinese relations and now has the attention of U.S. lawmakers. The talks between Obama and Wen came as U.S. lawmakers appeared to move closer than ever to acting on long-standing threats to pass legislation that would penalize China for keeping its currency artificially weak.Critics inside and outside Congress say China deliberately undervalues its currency by as much as 25 percent to 40 percent to give Chinese companies an unfair trade advantage, hurting U.S. exports and employment.

Both Obama and Wen spoke in diplomatic niceties in their public remarks at a picture-taking session as their talks began. Obama stressed that both countries must work to achieve balance and sustained economic growth and Wen said, Our common interests far outweigh our differences.During their private talks, Obama said the currency issue was the most important issue of their meeting, said Jeffrey Bader, the senior National Security Council official for Asia. He said there was a far more intensive discussion of the topic than in their previous meetings.Bader said Obama made clear that we're expecting to see more action, more significant movement on China's yuan in the months ahead and noted that the Obama administration had authorized a couple of complaints about Chinese trade practices through the World Trade Organization. So the president made clear that, through that and in his meeting, that he's going to protect U.S. economic interests and that we look for the Chinese to take actions. If the Chinese don't take actions, we have other means of protecting U.S. interests, Bader said.Wen told Obama that China would press ahead with reforming exchange rate rules for the yuan, Bader said.Premier Wen did reiterate the Chinese intention to ... continue with reform of their exchange rate mechanism, he said.Wen's delegation did not speak to reporters after the meeting, but during the picture-taking session Wen told Obama he believed all differences between the United States and China could be resolved through dialogue and that he had a constructive attitude.

Wen and Obama also discussed tensions between China and Japan in the East China Sea.
It's not in our interest to see these countries in this kind of a dispute, said Bader, echoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's call for a peaceful resolution in her meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara.Obama stressed to Wen the U.S. interests of freedom of navigation in the South China Sea and the importance of peaceful resolution of maritime territorial disputes between China and its southern neighbors, said Bader, who added the issue would be discussed on Friday when Obama meets leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nation countries.

China's central bank said in June it would loosen a peg against the dollar and let the yuan fluctuate more freely. It has since risen 1.8 percent against the dollar.
But the slow appreciation of the yuan makes it an easy target for U.S. politicians eager to address high unemployment in an election year.In a speech on Wednesday night, Wen rejected any link between the level of the yuan, also called the renminbi, and a U.S. trade deficit with China that annually exceeds $200 billion. The main reason for the U.S. trade deficit with China is not the renminbi exchange rate, but the structure of trade and investment between the two countries, he told U.S. executives and China experts in New York.

HOUSE COMMITTEE SETS CURRENCY VOTE FRIDAY

A U.S. House of Representatives committee has scheduled a vote for Friday on a China currency bill that would treat China's undervalued currency as an export subsidy, and allow the U.S. Commerce Department to impose countervailing duties on Chinese products to offset the undervaluation. Bader said the Obama administration did not take a position on the currency legislation, beyond wanting to ensure it was consistent with international obligations. The president made no commitment to Premier Wen about this legislation,he told reporters. Pushing back against the U.S. pressure, Wen said on Wednesday that China also had big job considerations and the 20 percent appreciation of the yuan demanded by U.S. lawmakers would cause many bankruptcies in the Chinese export sector, where firms operate on thin margins. A sharp appreciation of the yuan would not bring jobs back to the United States because American firms no longer make the labor-intensive products China exports, Wen added.Prospects for action in the Senate, which would also have to approve legislation, are uncertain. Key senators have said time may be too tight since lawmakers hope to leave Washington shortly to campaign for the November 2 elections.

Both Democrats and Republicans from industrial districts need a vote on this before they go home in November, and that's ... I think what's really driving this issue, said Lloyd Wood, spokesman for the Fair Currency Coalition, an alliance of manufacturing and labor groups that backs the currency bill. It's never been more clear to me that China responds to pressure than over the past week, said Scott Paul, executive director of the Alliance for American Manufacturing. It's the one currency in the world that's pegged to political pressure. But Stephen Orlins, president of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, said that if the bill passes and creates a trade war, we will have shot ourselves in the foot. The U.S. Treasury Department said it would carefully examine any proposals put forward by Congress. A U.S. Trade Representative's office spokeswoman said it was reviewing whether the House bill was consistent with World Trade Organization rules. Obama invited Chinese President Hu Jintao to Washington for a state visit next January and Hu accepted, Bader said.(Additional reporting by Alister Bull at the United Nations and Doug Palmer in Washington; Editing by Peter Cooney)

Obama challenges the world: Time for Mideast peace By BEN FELLER, AP White House Correspondent - SEPT 23,10

UNITED NATIONS – Grasping for peace, President Barack Obama on Thursday challenged a pessimistic world to overcome decades of shattered promises and help Israelis and Palestinians close a historic deal within a year. This time will be different, he declared, offering a now-or-never choice between Mideast stability and perpetual bloodshed. To a hushed audience of global leaders, Obama made Mideast peace the dominant theme of his yearly address to the U.N. General Assembly, a sign of the fragile state of the latest talks and the importance he attaches to their success. Nearly every other topic of his international agenda was shoved to the margins, save for a vigorous call for support of human rights. In a message to allies and foes alike, Obama devoted the final passage of his speech to a need for people to live freely, and he warned that we will call out those who suppress ideas. While he spoke of tyranny by the Taliban and in North Korea, he did not single out allies that the U.S. has accused of repressing their people, such as Russia and China. With fresh Mideast peace talks seemingly on the brink of collapse, Obama took on skeptics directly. He challenged Israelis and Palestinians to make compromises, exhorted supporters on both sides to show real backing instead of empty talk and painted a grim picture of what will happen if the current effort is consigned to the long list of failed attempts. If an agreement is not reached, Palestinians will never know the pride and dignity that comes with their own state, Obama said. Israelis will never know the certainty and security that comes with sovereign and stable neighbors. ... More blood will be shed. This Holy Land will remain a symbol of our differences instead of our common humanity.

The speech came amid a wider burst of presidential diplomacy in New York. Obama met at length with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao over U.S. contentions that China's currency is undervalued, but he emerged with little evident progress.U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon set the tone for the meetings when he implored leaders to show more respect to each other and bring the world together. He warned of a politics of polarization — a term that on a different level also could fit the situation in the U.S.Twenty months in office, Obama no longer made a point of breaking away from George W. Bush and embracing the multilateral approach of the United Nations, as he did in his first address last year before this world gathering. The record of the White House is now his to defend. He did so repeatedly, particularly U.S. efforts to avoid a global economic catastrophe. The commander in chief for two wars, Obama made spare mention of either one. He reminded the world that he was winding down the divisive conflict in Iraq and accelerating the fight against extremists in Afghanistan. Yet there was not a major emphasis on terrorism or religious tolerance.

On the pressing security threat of Iran, Obama again extended a diplomatic hand. But he insisted the government there must prove to the world that its nuclear pursuits are for peaceful energy, not weaponry, or it will face further consequences.Iran recently has indicated interest in restarting talks with the West, and on Wednesday the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany offered another chance to enter negotiations. Iranian state TV quoted Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, who was in New York, as saying Iran was ready to resume the talks but the negotiations must be fair.Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed an afternoon session of the assembly. At one point he said that some in the world have speculated that Americans were actually behind the Sept. 11 terror attacks and that they were staged in an attempt to assure Israel's survival. At that, the U.S. delegation walked out.The search for Mideast peace always tests the limits of U.S. presidential power, and this time is no different. There were no signs of a breakthrough in New York and, unlike last year, no meeting among Obama and the key players.Obama is serving as an invested broker in Mideast peace. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are working toward an ambitious deal that would settle decades of issues within a year. The goals include the creation of an independent Palestinian state and security for Israel. But direct talks between the leaders, which just resumed three weeks ago in Washington, have stalled over the impending end of an Israeli freeze on West Bank settlement construction.Obama challenged Israel to relent, calling for the moratorium to be extended, knowing that would help keep Abbas at the table.Talks should press on until completed, Obama said as his administration worked to hold them together.Separately, senior Palestinian officials said Thursday that their side would consider an expected U.S.-brokered compromise on Israeli settlement-building.

On a broader level, Obama summoned the world to show leadership, and he showed as much impatience over the familiar Mideast grievances and the latest obstacles as do skeptics of the process. He implored everyone to stop wasting time and drew a rare round of applause by saying there could be an agreement to secure a Palestinian state by next September's U.N. gathering. We can say that this time will be different — that this time we will not let terror, or turbulence, or posturing, or petty politics stand in the way, Obama said. Netanyahu did not attend, and Israel's seat in the grand U.N. hall sat empty because it was a Jewish holiday. Abbas was present, listening to the president through a translator's earphone. Obama did not mention the militant Hamas movement, which controls the Gaza Strip and refuses to accept Israel's right to exist. In calling on the world to get more involved, Obama assigned responsibilities to nations beyond those at the negotiating table. He made a particular plea for friends of the Palestinians to support the creation of a new state providing political and financial support, and to stop trying to tear Israel down.An attentive audience packed the hall to hear Obama speak for just more than a half-hour, twice his allotted time. Some dignitaries took pictures with their cell phones. The speech was the centerpiece of a day in which Obama also met individually with Chinese and Japanese leaders and introduced first Lady Michelle Obama at a meeting of Bill Clinton's Global Initiative.Obama didn't publicly mention the heated diplomatic clash over Japan's arrest of a Chinese fishing boat captain near islands both Japan and China claim as their own. But he made clear that the U.S.-Japan alliance is crucial to stability in Asia and to both U.S. and Japanese security.

Obama's capping argument was for open civil societies across the globe: freedom of assembly, of the press, of the Internet. He said no government delivers more for people than democracy, echoing a frequent U.N. message of his predecessor. The ultimate success of democracy in the world won't come because the United States dictates it,Obama said. It will come because individual citizens demand a say in how they are governed.

JERUSALEM DIVIDED

ZECHARIAH 12:1-5 King James Bible
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

JOEL 3:2
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

ZECHARIAH 14:1-9 King James Bible
1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Settlement freeze has barely slowed construction By MATTI FRIEDMAN, Associated Press Writer – Thu Sep 23, 6:41 pm ET

ARIEL, West Bank – How much of a freeze has there actually been on West Bank Jewish settlement building by Israel? Very little, an Associated Press analysis of the numbers suggests. To settlers like Ron Nachman, the mayor of this West Bank community, the halt has been brutal. He fumes at the government and points angrily at a low hill covered with shrubs, where 100 homes for settlers were planned — then suspended. And the nearly 10-month-old freeze is important enough to the Palestinians that they have threatened to walk away from peace talks, just restarted amid much fanfare, if it ends as planned on Sunday. But the government's own figures — and the assessments of Israeli peace activists monitoring construction — show building has barely slowed down.In the third quarter of 2009, before the restrictions were imposed last November, there were 2,790 settlement homes in various stages of construction, according to Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics. The number rose to 2,955 in the last quarter of 2009, reflecting a last-minute surge of housing starts in the days leading up to the freeze. In the first quarter of 2010, with the freeze in full effect, the number stood at 2,517.That means that even months into the halt, the number of homes under construction had declined by only about 10 percent.

There are no official figures for the months since. But Israeli peace activists, who use aerial photography and ground inspections to track settlement building, say there has been no appreciable decline, since most of the projects take longer than 10months to complete. The situation is largely the same, they say, in non-residential construction such as commercial buildings, small factories and schools. The numbers have hardly been dented because the halt ordered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu covered only new projects. Anything already under way when the measures went into effect could be completed. That is why the Palestinians — backed by the United States — want the freeze to continue. If it does, the logic goes, those ongoing projects would eventually be completed and the number of homes under construction would then begin to drop steeply. If the measures are lifted Sunday and new projects are launched, the four-decade-old march of settlement-building in the West Bank — which Israel occupied along with the Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem in the 1967 Mideast war — will hardly have registered a blip. The freeze is meaningful only if it is extended, said Hagit Ofran, who tracks settlements for Peace Now. If they are going to approve new buildings, all this will have meant is that a few projects were delayed. If the freeze continues, and if there is enforcement, then certainly we will see a change in the existing numbers, agreed Israeli peace activist Dror Etkes.Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said the terms of the halt were clear from the start. We were very up front, he said. We always said the freeze was about new construction, and in that case it has been full.Government statistics show a dramatic drop in new construction since the freeze began: There were zero housing starts in the first quarter of this year, compared to 342 in the same quarter last year. But those figures do not include illegal construction or mobile homes, both of which are common.

In reality, around 450 new housing units have begun construction since the slowdown went into effect, according to Peace Now. Still, those numbers reflect a drop of about 50 percent in the pace of new home construction. Any discussion of the issue quickly inflames passions and reveals the divergent narratives of the sides. To Palestinians, each instance of building is another provocation. The settlements eat up the territory of a future Palestinian state and make virtually impossible the two-state partition Israel's government says it wants. If Palestinians and the international community are not able to convince the Israelis to ... stop illegal settlement expansion, how do we expect to reach an agreement that would dismantle all illegal settlements and end occupation? said Husam Zomlot, a spokesman for the Palestinian negotiation team. Already, some 300,000 Israelis — out of a population approaching 8 million — live in the West Bank, among 2.5 million Palestinians. Another 200,000 Israelis live in east Jerusalem, where the Palestinians want to locate the capital of a future independent state. The building freeze does not apply in east Jerusalem, despite earlier Palestinian demands that it be extended there.

Despite the freeze, Nachman had to shout to be heard Tuesday over the sound of Palestinian workers drilling foundations for a new factory in Ariel that will produce iron bars — a project that was already under way when the restrictions went into effect. He said the freeze is demoralizing to the settlement's 20,000 residents, because beyond the practical inconvenience lies a deeper message: There is a question mark looming over the very future of this place.Every industrialist, every person who wants to invest money for a home or industry or anything, wants to know that it's OK — that it's certain,he said.

Iran criticizes Russia over S-300 missile deal ban
– Thu Sep 23, 10:56 am ET

TEHRAN, Iran – The Iranian defense minister criticized Russia Thursday for banning all sales of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Iran.Gen. Ahmad Vahidi's comments came a day after Russian President Dmitry Medvedev issued a decree on the ban, which also prohibited exports of tanks, aircraft and sea vessels to Iran.
Vahidi said Russia was at risk of humiliating itself for caving to international pressure by banning the sales of the sophisticated systems that could boost Iran's ability to defend itself against airstrikes. We think Russia should show it has an independent stance in choosing its relations with other countries as well as on international issues, he said in an interview with Iranian state TV.Tehran is in a tense standoff with the U.S. and other nations over its disputed nuclear program. Russia also has recently shown increasing frustration over Iran's policies.Moscow signed a 2007 contract to sell the systems. Israel and the United States have objected to the deal, and no such missiles have been delivered yet.

Russia has said United Nations sanctions would prevent it from delivering the S-300s to Iran. The S-300 is capable of shooting down aircraft and missiles at ranges of over 90 miles (144 kilometers) and at altitudes of about 90,000 feet (27,432 meters).
Vahidi insisted the Russians were obliged to implement the 2007 contract. They have not done it so far, he said.He also played down the importance of the deal, saying it was not vital because Iran will build a similar system in the future.God willing we will have production of long range anti-aircraft missiles on our agenda. In June, Russia joined other members of the U.N Security Council in imposing a fourth set of sanctions on Iran after Tehran refused to halt its uranium enrichment activities. The U.S. and its allies accuse Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons. Iran denies the charge, saying its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes like power generation.

Protesters denounce Ahmadinejad outside UN
– Thu Sep 23, 7:36 pm ET

NEW YORK (AFP) – About 800 people, including many of Iranian origin, rallied Thursday outside the United Nations, using street theater and speeches to protest President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's appearance at the UN General Assembly. They chanted Ahmadinejad is a terrorist and Viva Rajavi, a reference to Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, a coalition of exiled groups opposed to the Islamic regime in Tehran. The protest included a street performance depicting people stained with fake blood and scenes of hanging and stoning. Some people carried the tri-colored flags with a lion sun, used in Iran before the Islamic revolution. Also appearing was a man in a huge inflatable head designed to look like the Iranian president, and wearing prison garb. The street theater also included a man dressed as an ayatollah, whipping political prisoners.Rajavi, whose picture was carried by some of those in the crowd, addressed the gathering, denouncing the UN leaders who have allowed this murderous henchman to address the General Assembly... We ask them that after three decades of pursuing a conciliatory policy towards Tehran, what have you accomplished? She added, The only solution for the Iranian crisis is democratic change by the Iranian people and their organized resistance.

The Ahmadinejad visit took place with Western powers pressing Iran to end its nuclear energy program suspected of developing weapons.US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her counterparts from Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia called for an early negotiated settlement to the Iranian nuclear issue.US officials confirmed that there had been signs from the Iranians that they might be ready for a meeting in the fall.A joint statement said the six powers were ready to engage with Iran in the context of implementing a deal agreed in Geneva in October last year under which Iran would give up enriched uranium in exchange for nuclear fuel. The protesters said it was futile to negotiate with the Tehran regime. It is time for the international community to stop dealing with Ahmadinejad and finally recognize and empower the opposition, so that the Iranian people can finally get the democratic change it deserves, said Ali Safavi, a member of the coalition. We want democracy, not barbaric theocracy, said Henry Anavian, an Iranian living in New York and affiliated with the Ma Hastim group aimed at raising awareness of human rights issues in Iran.

We just want the United Nations to stop dealing with Ahmadinejad. He doesn't represent the Iranian people, he said. Many of the demonstrators were affiliated with the the People's Mujahedeen Organization of Iran, the main group in the NCRI. The PMOI is officially listed as a foreign terrorist organization in the United States, although a judge ruled in July that it should be removed from the blacklist.Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani also spoke, endorsing the protest. If the UN wants to reclaim its lofty goal of protecting human rights, then it must stand with you against the brutal regime in Iran, he told the crowd.

US, Iranian leaders push nuclear talks by Lachlan Carmichael – Thu Sep 23, 6:35 pm ET

UNITED NATIONS (AFP) – The US and Iranian leaders on Thursday signaled a new desire to revive talks to end the standoff over Tehran's nuclear aims, despite a US-led protest against Iran's president at the United Nations. In separate speeches at the UN General Assembly, Presidents Barack Obama and Mahmud Ahmadinejad said their governments were prepared for such talks, four months after Washington obtained harsh new UN sanctions against Tehran. In an interview, Ahmadinejad said the talks would likely begin in October.Despite the positive tone on the nuclear front, however, Ahmadinejad infuriated the United States when he suggested the US government was involved in the September 11 attacks. The US delegation then led a Western walkout of the assembly. The Iranian president said there was a theory that ome segments within the US government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy and its grips on the Middle East in order also to save the Zionist regime.Speaking to the UN before Ahmadinejad, Obama sounded positive but cautious.Let me be clear once more: the United States and the international community seek a resolution to our differences with Iran, and the door remains open to diplomacy should Iran choose to walk through it, Obama said.

But the Iranian government must demonstrate a clear and credible commitment, and confirm to the world the peaceful intent of its nuclear program, Obama said in a wide-ranging foreign policy speech.Washington fears Iran's nuclear program masks a drive to build a nuclear weapon, while Iran insists it is for purely peaceful purposes. In his speech some five hours later, Ahmadinejad said Iran had long been ready for negotiations and dismissed any suggestion it is caving in to pressure. We have never submitted to illegally imposed pressures nor will we ever do so. It has been said that they want to pressure Iran into a dialogue, he said.Firstly, Iran has always been ready for a dialogue based on respect and justice. Secondly, methods based on disrespecting nations have long become ineffective, the Iranian leader said.

In Tehran, the ISNA news agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying Iran is likely to hold talks with world powers over its nuclear program in October.Following a meeting here Wednesday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her counterparts from Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia called for an early negotiated solution to the Iranian nuclear issue. Two diplomats from the P5-plus-1 -- the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, plus Germany -- said on condition of anonymity that a meeting with Iran could take place this fall in Vienna or in Geneva.A joint statement said the six powers were ready to engage with Iran in the context of implementing a deal agreed in Geneva in October last year under which Iran would give up enriched uranium in exchange for nuclear fuel.It added that they looked forward to an early meeting with Iran and were prepared to discuss a revised arrangement, apparently because Iran has enriched much more uranium since the earlier offer was made.Under the deal, Iran would ship most of its low-grade uranium to France and Russia so that it could be enriched further and returned to Iran to fuel a medical research reactor in Tehran. The deal had been designed to buy time and build confidence while the world community presses Iran to meet its demand to halt uranium enrichment. But the deal stalled as Iran sought to modify its terms in another agreement that was brokered by Brazil and Turkey, an agreement that Ahmadinejad told the UN assembly is still valid. In June, a month after the new deal, the UN Security Council then approved a fourth round of sanctions against the Islamic republic, which in turn said it would suspend talks until September. In Moscow, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday signed a decree banning supplies of S-300 missiles and other arms to Iran, in line with the tougher military and financial sanctions adopted in June.

Obama, whose administration spearheaded the drive for the sanctions, claims the sanctions are beginning to bite as Iran shows increasing signs it wants to return to the negotiating table. In an interview with CNN television, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said Iranians asked the six powers to resume the talks.Ok, this is an offer we can accept,he quoted them as saying.

Syria, Saudi seek to calm tensions in Lebanon
by Rita Daou – Thu Sep 23, 12:01 pm ET

BEIRUT (AFP) – Syria and Saudi Arabia have stepped up efforts to ease a political crisis in Lebanon over a UN probe into the murder of ex-premier Rafiq Hariri, Information Minister Tareq Mitri said on Thursday.Saudi Arabia and Syria have reminded all the Lebanese political forces that they still see themselves as guarantors of stability and strongly encouraged them to put an end to their inflammatory rhetoric and to calm down, Information Minister Tareq Mitri told reporters. The Saudi and Syrian push came amid a face-off between Hezbollah and Prime Minister Saad Hariri's coalition that has raised fears of sectarian violence similar to the one that brought country close to civil war in May 2008.Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a key supporter of Hezbollah along with Iran, contacted Prime Minister Saad Hariri on late Wednesday to discuss developments, Hariri's office said.

Meanwhile, the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, whose country backs Hariri's camp, met the same evening with a Hezbollah delegation.Officials said the Saudi and Syrian efforts were clear signs that both countries were keen on calming tensions in Beirut over reports that the UN-backed tribunal probing the 2005 assassination of Rafiq Hariri -- Saad Hariri's father -- was set to implicate the powerful Hezbollah in the murder. There are fears that if the court indicts Hezbollah members, this could lead to a Sunni-Shiite conflict similar to the one that brought the country close to another civil war in May 2008.A Lebanese official said that while the mediation appears to have cooled tempers for now, it was not clear whether calm would prevail once the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) issues its indictments, possibly by year's end.It is still premature to know if Saudi-Syrian understanding can hold the situation after the indictment, said the official, who asked not to be named. We are talking about stability holding with the support of Syria and Saudi Arabia in the immediate future.Hariri's killing along with 22 others sparked an international outcry and forced Syria to withdraw its troops from Lebanon following a 29-year presence.

But in a stunning about-face earlier this month, Saad Hariri said he had been wrong to blame Damascus for his father's death. That was interpreted as a sign of his alliance's weakness in the face of Syria's bid to regain influence over its smaller neighbour.Hezbollah has made clear that it would not stand idle should any of its members be indicted by the STL and in recent weeks has upped its campaign to discredit the court. The Shiite movement's deputy chief, Sheikh Naim Qassem, said in an interview published on Thursday by the Kuwaiti daily Al-Rai that Hezbollah had not uttered its last word and was giving time for Saudi efforts to redress the wrongful course of the UN probe. He added that Hezbollah in coming weeks would take a definitive stand as concerns the tribunal, which it accuses of being part of an Israeli plot.We are in a test period and in light of the results of Saudi mediation we will take a clear-cut position on the tribunal, Qassem said.In late 2005, Lebanon asked the United Nations to establish a tribunal of international character to try those allegedly responsible for the February 14, 2005 attack that killed Hariri and the others. Pursuant to a Security Council resolution the following year, the STL was created following negotiations between the two parties. The tribunal, based in The Netherlands, formally began operation in 2009.

REVELATION 14:18-20
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city,(JERUSALEM) and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.(200 MILES) (THE SIZE OF ISRAEL)

ISAIAH 66:15-18
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

ISAIAH 26:21
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.(WW3,1/2 earths population die).

ISAIAH 13:6-13 KJV
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:(FROM FRIGHT)
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

2 TIMOTHY 3:1
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous (DANGEROUS) times shall come.

JOEL 2:3,30
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

ZEPHANIAH 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

REVELATION 8:7
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

REVELATION 9:18
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

HALF OF EARTHS POPULATION DIE DURING THE 7 YR TRIBULATION.(THESE VERSES ARE JUDGEMENT SCRIPTURES NOT RAPTURE SCRIPTURES)

LUKE 17:34-37
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.(Christians have new bodies, this is the people against Jerusalem during the 7 yr treaty)(Christians bodies are not being eaten by the birds).

MATTHEW 24:37-51
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Japan frets about economic fallout from China row By Stanley White and Chisa Fujioka - SEPT 23,10

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan warned on Friday that a deepening row with China could hurt both of Asia's two biggest economies and sought to draw a line between a feud over disputed islets in the East China Sea and the detainment of four of its nationals on suspicion of entering a Chinese military zone.A Japanese foreign ministry spokesman confirmed that four Japanese nationals employed by unlisted construction firm Fujita Corp had been detained in China on suspicion of violating Chinese law regarding the protection of military facilities. The two sides are already locked in an increasingly heated dispute triggered by Japan's detention of a Chinese fishing boat captain whose trawler collided earlier this month with a Japanese patrol boat in waters near islands both sides claim.Finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda warned that worsening ties between the two countries would be bad for both economies.A cooling of relations between Japan and China over the Senkaku problem would be bad for Japan's economy, but it would also be a minus for China, he told a news conference.

It's desirable that both sides respond in a calm manner.Sino-Japanese ties had improved after a deep chill in 2001-2006, but the latest feud has underscored the fragility of relations long plagued by disputes over wartime history and rivalry over territory, resources and mutual military suspicions.I think this case presents the biggest obstacle for years in relations between China and Japan. Both sides were on track with efforts to improve relations, but now they have clearly deteriorated, said Liu Jiangyong, an expert on China-Japan relations at Tsinghua University in Beijing.Trade and economic ties could be damaged if Japan does not solve this problem, because mutual trust is at stake.

ROW OVER RESOURCES, SOVEREIGNTY

Japan's sluggish economy has become increasingly reliant on China's dynamism for growth. China has been Japan's biggest trading partner since 2009 and bilateral trade reached 12.6 trillion yen ($147 billion) in the January-June period, a jump of 34.5 percent over the same time last year, Japanese data show. The Japanese economy's future performance seems to depend on whether the problem is solved quickly, Japanese Economics Minister Banri Kaieda told a news conference.China has canceled diplomatic meetings and exchange visits by Japanese students to protest against the trawler captain's detention and concerns are simmering that Beijing is holding back shipments of rare earth minerals vital for electronics goods and auto parts.Trade Minister Akihiro Ohata told a separate news conference that Tokyo had confirmed there was no official export ban, but added that the ministry was still looking into the matter after hearing from traders that exports had been suspended.Analysts say the trawler dispute is largely a row over sovereignty in an area with rich natural gas resources. The islands are known as the Diaoyu islands in China and the Senkaku islands in Japan. The deadline for Japanese prosecutors to decide whether to charge the trawler captain is September 29.Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshito Sengoku, commenting on the affair, said it was important for the two countries to foster strategic, mutually beneficial relations -- a nod to the deep economic ties that would be at risk if the row worsens.Sengoku also said Japan saw no link between the islets row and the detention of the four Japanese nationals. We place great importance on strategic, mutually beneficial relations and authorities should make efforts to enhance that relationship, he said.

China's Xinhua news agency said on Thursday: The state security authorities in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei, have taken measures against the four people according to law after receiving a report about their illegal activities.A spokeswoman for Fujita Corp said that five of its employees were missing in China -- four Japanese nationals and one Chinese national. But they had no firm information on their whereabouts. She said the employees were in China in connection with a project to dispose of chemical weapons abandoned in China by the Japanese military at the end of World War Two.Japan has been assisting in the disposal of chemical weapons left behind by its Imperial Army during World War Two as part of efforts to improve bilateral relations.(Additional reporting by Risa Maeda, Chikako Mogi and Yoko Kubota in Tokyo and Chris Buckley in Beijing; Writing by Linda Sieg; Editing by Alex Richardson)
