DIRE WARNING ABOUT IRAN

REBUILT 3RD TEMPLE (THE EU DICTATORS TEMPLE)

ISAIAH 30:10-15
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.
15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

REVELATION 11:1-2
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

DANIEL 9:27
27 And he( THE ROMAN,EU PRESIDENT) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:(1X7=7 YEARS) and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,(3 1/2 yrs in TEMPLE SACRIFICES STOPPED) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

REBUILT 4TH TEMPLE (THE TRUE MESSIAHS TEMPLE)

ZECHARIAH 6:12-13
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

ISAIAH 60:9-10
9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

ISAIAH 2:1-5
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

MARK 11:9-10,15-17
9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

EZEKIEL 40 TO 48 IS THIS 4TH TEMPLE TO BIG FOR THE MOUNT I BELIEVE TO BE BUILT 25 MILES FROM JERUSALEM.

Eligibility issue hits Hotlanta! Where's the birth certificate? campaign finds new location March 07, 2010 9:33 pm Eastern 2010 WorldNetDaily

ATLANTA – The billboard campaign that launched a thousand imitators marches south this week with a new location seen by thousands every day as they enter downtown Atlanta on the MARTA subway train from Hartsfield International Airport. As they say, you can't miss it.Newest in Where's the Birth Certificate billboard campaign, in Atlanta. The latest Where's the birth certificate? billboard is located on the I-20between Turner Field and the Georgia Dome adjacent to the Morehouse School of Medicine on Whitehall Street. As I said all along when this billboard campaign got underway last spring, we're in this for the long-term – right through 2012, if necessary, said Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND, who conceived the idea for the controversial effort to call attention to Barack Obama's failure to prove he is constitutionally eligible for the office of the presidency.

But to sustain and grow the program, Farah is asking for donations from the public.
This is a real economic stimulus program for the sagging billboard industry, says Farah. In addition, it's a way to get a message out to the American public that the Big Media are determined to silence and ridicule. In fact, many of the nation's billboards are owned and controlled by Big Media corporations, which banned the Where's the birth certificate? campaign from their locations shortly after it was launched. However, there are still hundreds of thousands of locations available from independent outdoor advertising operators – a virtual unlimited supply if the funds are available to procure them. Some folks got the idea that we couldn't find billboard companies willing to lease to us,said Farah. That was never the case. There are some off-limits because the ownership of major media companies that are heavily regulated by government are afraid to tangle with Washington. WND, however, believes that is the proper and central role of the free press in a free society. If we can't ask simple, straightforward questions in the press, there is simply no reason for us to exist. There is no reason for constitutional protections of a timid media watching over their shoulders fearing how Big Daddy is going to punish them. Not only have dozens of Where's the birth certificate? billboards been placed all over the country in the last 10 months, but many independent groups and citizens have picked up on the idea to erect their own.

While not everyone has the resources to put up billboards expressing their anger at government, anyone can contribute to the Where's the birth certificate? campaign for as little as $5. Billboards like this are not cheap. The vinyl needs to be produced and there are monthly charges for keeping them up that are bigger than most individuals' entire paychecks. But the billboards are having their intended effect – raising the eligibility question in the minds of about half the American public, according to polls. As Farah said at the first National Tea Party Convention in Nashville last month: I have a dream. My dream is that IF Barack Obama even seeks re-election as president in 2012, he won't be able to go to any city, any town, any hamlet in America without seeing signs that ask, Where's the birth certificate? It's a simple question,he said.

March 3, 2010-UK Muslim Leader: Islam Not a Religion of PeaceErick Stakelbeck

The Obama administration has released a review of its strategy in the war on terrorism. The report failed to even mention the word Islam.CBN News traveled to London to talk with Anjem Choudary, a leading Muslim radical who says Islamic teachings are what shaped his pro-jihad message. Although both George W. Bush and Barack Obama have declared that Islam is a religion of peace, Choudary begs to differ.

A Religion of Peace?

You can't say that Islam is a religion of peace, Choudary told CBN News.Because Islam does not mean peace. Islam means submission. So the Muslim is one who submits. There is a place for violence in Islam. There is a place for jihad in Islam.Choudary is the leader of Islam4UK, a group recently banned in Britain under the country's counter-terrorism laws. He wants Islamic Sharia law to rule the United Kingdom and is working to make that dream a reality. While Islamic radicals in the United States usually prefer to speak in more moderate tones while in public, masking their true agenda, Choudary has no such inhibitions. He has praised the 9/11 hijackers and has called for the execution of Pope Benedict. He also stirred controversy recently when video emerged of him converting a 10-year-old British boy to Islam.

Openly Praising Jihad

Choudary told CBN News his group is a non-violent political and ideological movement that resides in the UK under a covenant of security.Yet he openly praises violent jihad. The Koran is full of, you know, jihad is the most talked about duty in the Koran other than tawhid -- belief,he said. Nothing else is mentioned more than the topic of fighting.Several former members of Choudary's group have been arrested on terrorism charges.A very significant amount of former al-Muhajiroun people were involved in terrorist plots against this country, London-based terrorism expert Peter Neumann said. A number of people have actually gone to Afghanistan, joined the Taliban and died fighting for the Taliban.Choudary refuses to condemn acts of terror including 9/11 and the July 7, 2005 London bombings, which killed 52 people.

Islam More than Religion

CBN News asked Choudary for his thoughts on the 7/7 bombings on London's transport system, and whether he condemned them. For the people who carried it out, it was legitimate,he replied. If you look at the will of the 7/7 bombers Mohammed Siddique Khan and Shehzad Tanweer, they would be justified. And there are many verses from the Koran and many statements to say that's the Islamic argument. And that is a difficult Islamic argument to refute. And there are many scholars who support that argument as well.Choudary says his group is merely following core Islamic teachings and that Islam is much more than a religion. This particular belief is more than just a religion,he declared. It is not just a spiritual belief. It is, in fact, an ideology which you believe in and you struggle for and you are willing even to die for, because you believe in that: That is your whole life.Choudary seems to relish being called Great Britain's most hated man and pledges to continue his rallies calling for the overthrow of the British system.FamilySecurityMatters.org Contributing Editor Erick Stakelbeck is a terrorism analyst for CBN News.

Geert Wilders Speech, House of Lords, London, Friday the 5th of March 2010

Thank you. It is great to be back in London. And it is great that this time, I got to see more of this wonderful city than just the detention centre at Heathrow Airport. Today I stand before you, in this extraordinary place. Indeed, this is a sacred place. This is, as Malcolm always says, the mother of all Parliaments, I am deeply humbled to have the opportunity to speak before you. Thank you Lord Pearson and Lady Cox for your invitation and showing my film Fitna. Thank you my friends for inviting me. I first have great news. Last Wednesday city council elections were held in the Netherlands. And for the first time my party, the Freedom Party, took part in these local elections. We participated in two cities. In Almere, one of the largest Dutch cities. And in The Hague, the third largest city; home of the government, the parliament and the queen. And, we did great! In one fell swoop my party became the largest party in Almere and the second largest party in The Hague. Great news for the Freedom Party and even better news for the people of these two beautiful cities. And I have more good news. Two weeks ago the Dutch government collapsed. In June we will have parliamentary elections. And the future for the Freedom Party looks great. According to some polls we will become the largest party in the Netherlands. I want to be modest, but who knows, I might even be Prime Minister in a few months time! Ladies and gentlemen, not far from here stands a statue of the greatest Prime Minister your country ever had. And I would like to quote him here today: Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. No stronger retrograde force exists in the World. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step (…) the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome. These words are from none other than Winston Churchill wrote this in his book ‘The River War’ from 1899.

Churchill was right.

Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t have a problem and my party does not have a problem with Muslims as such. There are many moderate Muslims. The majority of Muslims are law-abiding citizens and want to live a peaceful life as you and I do. I know that. That is why I always make a clear distinction between the people, the Muslims, and the ideology, between Islam and Muslims. There are many moderate Muslims, but there is no such thing as a moderate Islam. Islam strives for world domination. The Quran commands Muslims to exercise jihad. The Quran commands Muslims to establish shariah law. The Quran commands Muslims to impose Islam on the entire world. As former Turkish Prime Minister Erbakan said: The whole of Europe will become Islamic. We will conquer Rome. End of quote. Libyan dictator Gaddafi said: There are tens of millions of Muslims in the European continent today and their number is on the increase. This is the clear indication that the European continent will be converted into Islam. Europe will one day soon be a Muslim continent. End of quote. Indeed, for once in his life, Gaddafi was telling the truth. Because, remember: mass immigration and demographics is destiny! Islam is merely not a religion, it is mainly a totalitarian ideology. Islam wants to dominate all aspects of life, from the cradle to the grave. Shariah law is a law that controls every detail of life in a Islamic society. From civic- and family law to criminal law. It determines how one should eat, dress and even use the toilet. Oppression of women is good, drinking alcohol is bad. I believe that Islam is not compatible with our Western way of life. Islam is a threat to Western values. The equality of men and women, the equality of homosexuals and heterosexuals, the separation of church and state, freedom of speech, they are all under pressure because of islamization. Ladies and gentlemen: Islam and freedom, Islam and democracy are not compatible. It are opposite values.

No wonder that Winston Churchill called Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf the new Quran of faith and war, turgid, verbose, shapeless, bur pregnant with its message. As you know, Churchill made this comparison, between the Koran and Mein Kampf, in his book The Second World War, a master piece, for which, he received the Nobel Prize in Literature. Churchill’s comparison of the Quran and Mein Kampf is absolutely spot on. The core of the Quran is the call to jihad. Jihad means a lot of things and is Arabic for battle. Kampf is German for battle. Jihad and kampf mean exactly the same. Islam means submission, there cannot be any mistake about its goal. That’s a given. The question is whether we in Europe and you in Britain, with your glorious past, will submit or stand firm for your heritage. We see Islam taking off in the West at an incredible pace. Europe is Islamizing rapidly. A lot of European cities have enormous Islamic concentrations. Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Berlin are just a few examples. In some parts of these cities, Islamic regulations are already being enforced. Women’s rights are being destroyed. Burqa’s, headscarves, polygamy, female genital mutilation, honour-killings. Women have to go to separate swimming-classes, don’t get a handshake. In many European cities there is already apartheid. Jews, in an increasing number, are leaving Europe. As you undoubtedly all know, better then I do, also in your country the mass immigration and islamization has rapidly increased. This has put an enormous pressure on your British society. Look what is happening in for example Birmingham, Leeds, Bradford and here in London. British politicians who have forgotten about Winston Churchill have now taken the path of least resistance. They have given up. They have given in. Last year, my party has requested the Dutch government to make a cost-benefit analysis of the mass immigration. But the government refused to give us an answer. Why? Because it is afraid of the truth. The signs are not good. A Dutch weekly magazine - Elsevier - calculated costs to exceed 200 billion Euros. Last year alone, they came with an amount of 13 billion Euros. More calculations have been made in Europe: According to the Danish national bank, every Danish immigrant from an Islamic country is costing the Danish state more than 300 thousand Euros. You see the same in Norway and France. The conclusion that can be drawn from this: Europe is getting more impoverished by the day. More impoverished thanks to mass immigration. More impoverished thanks to demographics. And the leftists are thrilled.

I don't know whether it is true, but in several British newspapers I read that Labour opened the door to mass immigration in a deliberate policy to change the social structures of the UK. Andrew Neather, a former government advisor and speech writer for Tony Blair and Jack Straw, said the aim of Labour’s immigration strategy was, and I quote, to rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date. If this is true, this is symptomatic of the Left. Ladies and gentlemen, make no mistake: The left is facilitating islamization. Leftists, liberals, are cheering for every new shariah bank being created, for every new shariah mortgage, for every new islamic school, for every new shariah court. Leftists consider Islam as being equal to our own culture. Shariah law or democracy? Islam or freedom? It doesn’t really matter to them. But it does matter to us. The entire leftist elite is guilty of practising cultural relativism. Universities, churches, trade unions, the media, politicians. They are all betraying our hard-won liberties. Why I ask myself, why have the Leftists and liberals stopped to fight for them? Once the Leftists stood on the barricades for women’s rights. But where are they today? Where are they in 2010? They are looking the other way. Because they are addicted to cultural relativism and dependent on the Muslim vote. They are dependent on mass-immigration.

Thank heavens Jacqui Smith isn’t in office anymore. It was a victory for free speech that a UK judge brushed aside her decision to refuse me entry to your country last year. I hope that the judges in my home country are at least as wise and will acquit me of all charges, later this year in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, so far they have not done so well. For they do not want to hear the truth about Islam, nor are they interested to hear the opinion of top class legal experts in the field of freedom of expression. Last month in a preliminary session the Court refused fifteen of the eighteen expert-witnesses I had requested to be summoned. Only three expert witnesses are allowed to be heard. Fortunately, my dear friend and heroic American psychiatrist dr. Wafa Sultan is one of them. But their testimony will be heard behind closed doors. Apparently the truth about Islam must not be told in public, the truth about Islam must remain secret. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m being prosecuted for my political beliefs. We know political prosecution to exist in countries in the Middle East, like Iran and Saudi-Arabia, but never in Europe, never in the Netherlands. I’m being prosecuted for comparing the Quran to Mein Kampf. Ridiculous. I wonder if Britain will ever put the beliefs of Winston Churchill on trial… Ladies and gentlemen, the political trial that is held against me has to stop. But it is not all about me, not about Geert Wilders. Free speech is under attack. Let me give you a few other examples. As you perhaps know, one of my heroes, the Italian author Oriana Fallaci had to live in fear of extradition to Switzerland because of her anti-Islam book 'The Rage and the Pride'. The Dutch cartoonist Nekschot was arrested in his home in Amsterdam by 10 police men because of his anti-Islam drawings. Here in Britain, the American author Rachel Ehrenfeld was sued by a Saudi businessman for defamation. In the Netherlands Ayaan Hirsi Ali and in Australia two Christian pastors were sued. I could go on and on. Ladies and gentlemen, all throughout the West freedom loving people are facing this ongoing legal jihad. This is Islamic lawfare. And, ladies and gentlemen, not long ago the Danish cartoonist Westergaard was almost assassinated for his cartoons.

Ladies and gentlemen, we should defend the right to freedom of speech. With all our strength. With all our might. Free speech is the most important of our many liberties. Free speech is the cornerstone of our modern societies. Freedom of speech is the breath of our democracy, without freedom of speech our way of life our freedom will be gone. I believe it is our obligation to preserve the inheritance of the brave young soldiers that stormed the beaches of Normandy. That liberated Europe from tyranny. These heroes cannot have died for nothing. It is our obligation to defend freedom of speech. As George Orwell said: If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear. Ladies and gentlemen, I believe in another policy, it is time for change. We must make haste. We can’t wait any longer. Time is running out. If I may quote one of my favourite American presidents: Ronald Reagan once said: We need to act today, to preserve tomorrow. That is why I propose the following measures, I only mention a few, in order to preserve our freedom: First, we will have to defend freedom of speech. It is the most important of our liberties. In Europe and certainly in the Netherlands, we need something like the American First Amendment. Second, we will have to end and get rid of cultural relativism. To the cultural relativists, the shariah socialists, I proudly say: Our Western culture is far superior to the Islamic culture. Don't be affraid to say it. You are not a racist when you say that our own culture is better.
Third, we will have to stop mass immigration from Islamic countries. Because more Islam means less freedom. Fourth, we will have to expel criminal immigrants and, following denaturalisation, we will have to expel criminals with a dual nationality. And there are many of them in my country. Fifth, we will have to forbid the construction of new mosques. There is enough Islam in Europe. Especially since Christians in Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Indonesia are mistreated, there should be a mosque building-stop in the West. And last but not least, we will have to get rid of all those so-called leaders. I said it before: Fewer Chamberlains, more Churchills. Let's elect real leaders.

Ladies and gentlemen. To the previous generation, that of my parents, the word London is synonymous with hope and freedom. When my country was occupied by the national-socialists the BBC offered a daily glimpse of hope in my country, in the darkness of Nazi tyranny. Millions of my fellow country men listened to it, underground. The words This is London were a symbol for a better world coming soon.
What will be broadcasted forty years from now? Will it still be This is London? Or will it be This is Londonistan? Will it bring us hope? Or will it signal the values of Mecca and Medina? Will Britain offer submission or perseverance? Freedom or slavery? The choice is yours. And in the Netherlands the choice is ours. Ladies and gentlemen, we will never apologize for being free. We will and should never give in. And, indeed, as one of your former leaders said: We will never surrender. Freedom must prevail, and freedom will prevail.Thank you very much.

NUCLEAR WAR-FEAR - Dire warning: Israel must strike Iran now - Tehran will have nukes before U.N., Obama do anything, says diplomat March 07, 2010 9:47 pm Eastern 2010 WorldNetDaily
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNsN2NA381k&feature=player_embedded
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=127070

John Bolton - The only action that can stop Iran from building nuclear weapons is an Israeli strike on Tehran's nuclear facilities, argued John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. under the Bush administration. Speaking in a radio interview with WND senior reporter Aaron Klein, who hosts an investigative program on New York's WABC 770 AM, Bolton warned time is running out for an Israeli attack. Right now we know about the facilities. ... We know where they are,he said. We know exactly what their dimensions are, and I think they are susceptible to an Israeli attack.Bolton said an Israeli military option isn't there forever. ... If Israel is going to use military force, it needs to use it sooner rather than later. Is Israel already done for? Read Aaron Klein's The Late Great State of Israel to find out how much danger the holy land is really in! Bolton posited, Right now, basically the only scenario that I see other than Iran getting nuclear weapons is military strikes against their nuclear program that result in breaking Iran's control over the nuclear fuel cycle.Klein's interview with Bolton can be heard below:
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=127255

Continued Bolton: Since I don't see any possibility that the Obama administration will use military force, I think what that means – to cut to the chase – is this comes down to a decision by Israel whether or not it will use military force against Iran's program.Bolton said he believes there is no doubt Israel possesses the military capability to hit Iran's nuclear sites, but he said the Jewish state would need to act soon. I think the problem is that the military option is declining day by day, he said.Every day that goes by is another day where the Iranians can build alternative facilities for uranium conversion, uranium enrichment weaponization, that are in unknown locations that are deeply buried or hardened and that Israel's capabilities just can't reach.Bolton said he sees almost no chance for the U.N. to pass the crippling sanctions that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded. I think it's just a mistake to believe the Security Council – which has already passed three sanctions resolutions against Iran – will do anything much more than a marginal increase in sanctions that are already in place,he stated. At this point there is very little that will stop Iran,Bolton added. The most likely outcome, unfortunately, is that Iran is going to get nuclear weapons, and I think sooner rather than later.

Iran begins production of cruise missiles By NASSER KARIMI, Associated Press Writer – Sun Mar 7, 2:15 pm ET

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran announced Sunday that it has started a new production line of highly accurate, short range cruise missiles, which would add a new element to the country's already imposing arsenal.Gen. Ahmad Vahidi told Iranian state TV that the cruise missile, called Nasr 1, would be capable of destroying targets up to 3,000 tons in size. The minister said the missile can be fired from ground-based launchers as well as ships, but would eventually be modified to be fired from helicopters and submarines.Western powers are already concerned about Iran's military capabilities, especially the implications of its nuclear program. The U.S. and some of its allies, as well as the International Atomic Energy Agency, fear Iran is trying to produce nuclear weapons, a charge Iran denies. The West is considering stiffer sanctions against Tehran to try to force it to halt uranium enrichment, a process that has civilian uses but can be also used for nuclear arms if the uranium is enriched over 90 percent.Iran also boasts an array of short and medium-range missiles capable of hitting targets in the region, including Israel, U.S. military bases in the region and much of Europe.Tehran frequently makes announcements about new advances in military technology that cannot be independently verified.

Gen. Vahidi said the production of the cruise missiles, which took two years to develop, showed that sanctions on Iran have failed. He said the cruise missiles would strengthen Iran's naval power.Cruise missiles are highly advanced, usually subsonic rocket-powered weapons that can hug the ground and hit targets with great precision. The U.S. used large numbers of cruise missiles in its attack on Baghdad in 2002, launching most of them from warships in the Persian Gulf.Iranian state TV showed a video of boxes in a warehouse containing several missiles. It also showed footage of Iran's cruise missile test in 2007. That missile was apparently imported.
Tehran began a military self-sufficiency program in 1992, under which it produces a large range of weapons, including tanks, missiles, jet fighters, unmanned drone aircraft and torpedoes.

Iran's Ahmadinejad: Sept. 11 attacks a big lie By ALI AKBAR DAREINI, Associated Press Writer – Sat Mar 6, 1:50 pm ET

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday called the official version of the Sept. 11 attacks a big lie used by the U.S. as an excuse for the war on terror, state media reported.Ahmadinejad's comments, made during an address to Intelligence Ministry staff, come amid escalating tensions between the West and Tehran over its disputed nuclear program. They show that Iran has no intention of toning itself down even with tighter sanctions looming because of its refusal to halt uranium enrichment.September 11 was a big lie and a pretext for the war on terror and a prelude to invading Afghanistan, Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by state TV. He called the attacks a complicated intelligence scenario and act.The Iranian president has questioned the official U.S. version of the Sept. 11 attacks before, but this is the first time he ventured to label it a big lie.

In 2007, New York officials rejected Ahmadinejad's request to visit the World Trade Center site while he was in the city for a U.N. meeting. The president also sparked an uproar when he said during a lecture in New York that the causes and conditions that led to the attacks, as well as who orchestrated them, still need to be examined.
At the time, he also told Iranian state TV the attacks were a result of mismanaging and inhumane managing of the world by the U.S, and that Washington was using Sept. 11as an excuse to attack others. He has also questioned the Sept. 11 death toll of around 3,000, claiming the Americans never published the victims' names. On the 2007 anniversary of the attacks, the names of 2,750 victims killed in New York were read aloud at a memorial ceremony.

At least 7 die in snow-linked accidents in Germany
Sun Mar 7, 11:44 am ET

BERLIN – Heavy snowfall in parts of Germany triggered a deadly avalanche and caused thousands of accidents, leaving at least seven people dead and dozens more injured, police said Sunday.Across the southern state of Bavaria, police registered more than 2,000 accidents over the weekend, German news agency DDP reported, with at least three people dead. Police in the city of Regensburg said 46 cars were damaged in a highway pileup Saturday that left 17 people injured. In the northeastern state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, three more people died in traffic accidents on icy roads. An avalanche in the Bavarian Alps on Sunday killed a backcountry skier, regional police spokesman Dieter Betzold said. The avalanche engulfed a group of four at the Grosser Traithen mountain close to the town of Oberaudorf. While three of the skiers were apparently able to dig themselves out of the snow, the group's fourth member was found dead, Petzold said.No details about the victim's identity were immediately released. The region got 15.75 inches (40 centimeter) of fresh snow over the weekend, DDP reported.Heavy snowfall started on Friday night in parts of Germany, causing hundreds of accidents within hours. Police in western North Rhine-Westfalia said Saturday that 337 accidents had injured at least 45 people.

Beast of a storm, record floods hit Australia
Sun Mar 7, 4:40 am ET

MELBOURNE (AFP) – Melbourne was bracing for more bad weather Sunday after a beast of a storm ripped through Australia's second largest city, bringing with it hailstones the size of tennis balls. The mini-cyclone which smashed into the regional capital with winds of up to 100 kilometres (62 miles) an hour was an event which had likely not been seen since early last century, Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Kevin Parkyn said. The weather system that brought the damage to Melbourne is known in meteorological terms as a supercell thunderstorm, an organised beast of a storm that once it gets going tends to last more than your average thunderstorm, he said.

The fierce storm, which flooded city streets, saw some 26 millimetres (one inch) of rain fall on Melbourne within an hour Saturday while other areas recorded up to 70 millimetres. In the city centre the National Gallery of Victoria suffered flooding, while the Docklands Stadium was among those buildings damaged during the storm, which washed out horse races.Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Wasyl Drosdowsky said the hail that hit in one suburban area was up to 10 centimetres (four inches) in diameter.(It was) tennis ball size roughly, he said.As far as we can tell, that's close to the biggest hail we've seen in Melbourne.More than 4,000 people contacted emergency services for help as the hail left the city blanketed in what looked like snow. With more violent storms on the way late Sunday and Monday, Victorian Premier John Brumby urged people to be careful, particularity in areas hit by bushfires a year ago which have unstable trees weakened by the flames. There have been no reported fatalities or serious injuries. For that we are grateful, he said.People really should take great care... and make sure we put this focus on protecting life and protecting public safety because all the advice is that it will be a pretty difficult period. As the city readied for further violent storms Sunday and Monday, once-in-a-century floods were peaking in the state of Queensland in the country's northeast, parts of which have been in drought for almost a decade.

Townships in the state's cotton-growing south were cut off by rising flood waters and in St George the Balonne River reached 13.5 metres (44 feet), its highest level since records began in 1890.Queensland Premier Anna Bligh said the cost of the flooding would be in the hundreds of millions of dollars, as there had been major damage to highways and rail lines had been washed away. This is a massive water event which has smashed all the records known here in the southwest, she told reporters Sunday as she toured St George. All this water ultimately is going to mean great things for local (farmers) but there is a lot of pain to be felt in these communities before we can see total recovery. In the nearby tiny town of Nindigully, residents were marvelling at the amount of water surrounding the rural outpost.Overall, we are happy to have experienced this flood because of the beauty of vast expanses of water through the bush that you never forget,Steve Burns, the owner of the 146-year-old Nindigully Pub told AAP.

Golf ball-sized hail brings Melbourne to standstill
Sat Mar 6, 2:14 am ET

MELBOURNE (AFP) – A violent storm with hail-stones the size of golf balls brought Melbourne to a standstill on Saturday, as rains elsewhere threatened to inundate a rural town. The storm, which hurled 19 millimetres (three-quarters of an inch) of rain in just 18 minutes on Australia's second city, flooded streets and forced the cancellation of horse races and an Aussie Rules match. It was a very dangerous thunderstorm, said the weather bureau's senior forecaster Richard Carlyon. We don't often see storm cells like that.Residents reported seeing hail-stones five centimetres (two inches) across, blanketing the city in scenes reminiscent of snow.

It was very dark and all of a sudden it was like a hurricane or a howling wind came through, said Josh Bell, who was at Flemington race course when the storm hit.Marble-sized hail stones came down for about 10 minutes. The track was covered in hail. It was all white. It looked like it had snowed. As forecasters warned of further Melbourne storms, emergency services in the north-eastern state of Queensland warned that the worst floods since 1890 could engulf about 80 percent of the rural town of St. George.About 40 of the town's 2,800 residents have already been forced into a makeshift evacuation centre with the nearby Balonne River expected to peak at a record 13.5 metres (44 feet) following heavy rains.

ANKARA, Turkey – A strong earthquake, with a preliminary magnitude of 6, hit eastern Turkey Monday, killing at least 11 people, an official said.Gov. Muammer Erol said the victims were from the small village of Okcular, where the earthquake knocked down houses.CNN-Turk television said rescue teams dispatched to the area were working to save six people trapped under rubble. At least four of the victims were children, according to the private Dogan news agency. The quake in Elazig province occurred at 4:32 a.m. (0232 GMT) and was centered near the village of Basyurt, the Istanbul-based Kandilli Observatory. It was followed by an aftershock measuring 4.1.

The quake was felt in neighboring provinces of Tunceli, Bingol and Diyarbakir where residents fled to the streets in panic and spent the night outdoors.Elazig is some 550 kilometers (340 miles) east of Ankara, the capital.Earthquakes are frequent in Turkey, much of which lies atop the North Anatolian fault. In 1999, two powerful earthquakes struck northwestern Turkey, killing about 18,000 people.

Some Chile quake areas awaiting aid a week later By Terry Wade and Fabian Cambero – Sun Mar 7, 10:41 am ET

CONCEPCION, Chile (Reuters) – Some Chileans were still waiting for government aid on Saturday, a week after one of the strongest earthquakes on record and a roaring tsunami killed hundreds and ravaged cities and villages along the South American country's south-central coastline.Homeless and desperate, survivors voiced anger and frustration at outgoing President Michelle Bachelet's handling of the disaster, saying her administration was too slow to react after the 8.8-magnitude quake struck early on February 27.There has been an earthquake of disorganization on the part of the national and local governments, said Fernando Valenzuela, 44, who is living with his wife in a tent city in the small town of Dichato, near the epicenter. This is a case of bad governmental management and organization ... 99 percent of the help we have got has been from the Chilean people, and only 1 percent from the government, he added, as others cooked meals over open fires. The area around Dichato was devastated by the tsunami, which washed large ships as far as 1.2 miles inland. Wooden homes splintered like matchsticks and, a week later, crushed cars still sat at odd angles amid piles of debris.Cargo planes landed around 19 miles away with water, food and bedding. The government also dispatched two navy ships carrying a combined 120 tons of food and other supplies, but the aid had yet to reach some tent cities. The government said on Saturday basic services such as water and electricity were gradually being restored in disaster areas but acknowledged that the situation was far from normal. In Constitucion, a coastal city that was engulfed by massive waves, 25 percent of the population remained without running water. In Bio Bio, one of the hardest hit regions, 66 percent of the population still had no electricity.

Many outraged survivors say many lives could have been saved had people been warned the tsunamis were coming. The navy acknowledged its alert system broke down and fired the head of its catastrophe warning unit. That was one of a series of blunders. The government is revising the death toll after authorities mistakenly tallied scores of missing people who later turned up alive. So far, 452 victims have been identified. But the government, which backed off a previous estimate that put the death toll of more than 800, has not given figures for unidentified bodies or missing people.

SPORADIC LOOTING PERSISTS

President-elect Sebastian Pinera, a billionaire businessmen who will be sworn-in on March 11 in a toned-down ceremony, has pledged to overhaul Chile's National Emergency Office. The agency, known as Onemi, has been a magnet for criticism for botching the rescue effort. Some criticized Bachelet for not putting troops on the streets immediately after the quake in Chile, long viewed as Latin America's most developed country for its stable economy and efficient social services. Some feel Bachelet, a socialist, was reluctant to end her presidency with the military patrolling because it would conjure up memories of the dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet, who ruled from 1973 to 1990.Michelle Bachelet did not want to finish her term with the army on the streets, said Ivan Gonzalez Ruiz, owner of a bakery that was looted in the port city of Talcahuano. But it was absolutely necessary, they needed to stop the looting and she waited too long. The widespread looting that broke out in several cities in the days after the quake has mostly been quelled. But looters were still breaking into factories on Friday in Talcahuano.

Dozens of people used everything from cars to baby strollers to cart off boxes of canned fish. One looter who had been caught lay face down in the dirt with his shirt over his head and his hands tied behind his back. Bachelet, a pediatrician turned politician, flew to the quake-hit zone again on Saturday, two days after she intervened during a visit to the area to treat a man suffering an epileptic seizure.

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who on Friday pledged $10 million for the relief effort, also toured the area, which has been rattled by dozens of strong aftershocks. The government has shied away from quantifying the damage caused by the quake, which destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes, wrecked bridges and roads, and cracked modern buildings in the capital Santiago. The streets of Santiago were packed with volunteers on Saturday collecting donations for the relief effort, which was also getting funds from a nonstop telethon on Chilean television that drew some of Latin America's biggest stars. Chile's biggest copper mines were largely spared by the quake but its top two oil refineries were hit hard and remain offline, forcing the government to boost fuel imports. One is expected to be working next week, but the bigger Bio Bio refinery could take two or three months to resume operations, a union leader said on Saturday. China faces new pressure to let currency rise By JOE McDONALD, AP Business Writer - MAR 8,10

BEIJING – China faces mounting pressure from trading partners to loosen currency controls and is giving signs it might raise the value of the yuan to ease strains on its fast-growing economy.A stronger yuan could help China's leaders achieve their goal of making the economy more self-sustaining by boosting consumer buying power and reducing dependence on exports and investment. It could narrow China's politically volatile trade surplus, making the flood of foreign money pouring into the economy more manageable.A change might also help defuse tensions with the United States, Europe and other trading partners that complain an undervalued yuan makes China's exports unfairly cheap and hurts foreign competitors, possibly prolonging the global economic crisis. Some American lawmakers are calling for punitive tariffs on Chinese goods if Beijing fails to act.Analysts say Beijing might allow the yuan to rise against the dollar before the middle of this year. But they say any increase will be gradual and do little to narrow U.S. and European trade deficits and create jobs.Even if China starts to appreciate, the possibility is it will be very slow and gradual, without an immediate impact on trade, said Nicholas Consonery, an analyst in Washington for Eurasia Group, a consulting firm.On Friday, Premier Wen Jiabao said in a speech to China's legislature that the yuan will be kept basically stable at an appropriate and balanced level this year, though he gave no explanation of what that would mean.

Beijing tied the yuan to the dollar for decades but broke that link in 2005 and allowed it to rise by about 20 percent through late 2008. The government slammed on the brakes after the crisis hit and has held its currency steady against the greenback to help exporters compete as a plunge in global demand wiped out millions of Chinese factory jobs. The United States and Europe downplayed currency complaints as they worked together with Beijing to revive global growth. But facing pressure to create jobs, they and governments as farflung as Brazil have renewed demands for China to act.President Barack Obama vowed in early February to get much tougher in trade disputes with China and to press for an end to currency regimes that he said depress export prices and put U.S. companies at a disadvantage. The U.S. Treasury has the option of declaring Beijing a currency manipulator in a report due out in April, which could set the stage for a complaint to the World Trade Organization and possible sanctions on Chinese goods.Last year's U.S. trade deficit with China was $227 billion, down 15 percent from 2008 but among the highest ever. The 27-nation European Union reported a 65 billion euro ($88 billion) deficit with China for the first half of 2009.A bipartisan group of 15 American senators urged Commerce Secretary Gary Locke in a Feb. 25 letter to investigate whether Beijing improperly helps Chinese companies by holding down the yuan. They said it is undervalued by up to 40 percent.A stronger yuan would help Beijing get back on track to boosting household spending power after its 4 trillion yuan ($586 billion) stimulus package helped China to rebound quickly from the global crisis but worsened the tilt toward relying on investment to create jobs.Chinese leaders worry that reckless overspending on unneeded factories and other assets could lead to financial problems, while the country can no longer count on double-digit annual export gains to drive growth. But they face a daunting potential pitfall: A stronger yuan might hurt exports and cost jobs, fueling social tensions, while spending by China's consumers might not rise fast enough to fill the gap.

They are in a difficult balancing act, said Michael Pettis, an associate professor of finance at Peking University's Guanghua School of Management. The steps that need to be taken to rebalance the economy worsen the unemployment problem, and the steps that are taken to resolve unemployment worsen the imbalance.Analysts say a rise in the yuan could begin before the middle of this year if export growth, which revived in December, stays on track. That might coincide with the June meeting of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, where the Americans are expected to make currency a priority. It would let Beijing's envoys respond to U.S. complaints by saying it was already taking action. In a signal Beijing might be about to act, President Hu Jintao used the term speed up 50 times in a Feb. 3 speech to refer to building a consumption-based economy. There is an urgency about this. They realize this investment- and export-based economy needs to be balanced, said Citigroup economist Ken Peng. But currency policy changes aren't expected during the two-week annual meeting of China's ceremonial legislature that ends in mid-March — a high-profile event when communist leaders try to prevent any shocks to business.

Analysts say a likely scenario is a small one-time rise in the yuan's value against the dollar, followed by a gradual, long-term increase to allow exporters of shoes, toys and other low-profit goods to adapt to tougher conditions. China took a similar approach in 2005, when it revalued the yuan by 2 percent in a single day, then allowed a gradual, tightly controlled upward crawl that saw it gain about 5 percent annually. It's impossible for them to revalue in a sharp one-off move, Peng said. If you do a one-time adjustment of 5 percent, that will put a lot of businesses into the red instantly. so that's not something they are willing to do.In a possible effort to prepare the public for a change, government researchers have been quoted in the state press discussing possible approaches to a revaluation. A commentary in the China Securities Journal newspaper by Zhang Ming, a finance specialist at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said the yuan might be allowed to rise by 5 percent this year. Yet even if Chinese goods get more expensive in dollar terms, that won't drive American job growth because U.S. factories no longer make what China supplies, said UBS economist Dong Tao in a report this month. He said business would shift instead to Malaysia, Mexico or other low-cost suppliers. Unless the U.S. rebuilds its manufacturing base, China's loss would not be the U.S.'s gain, Tao wrote. And the array of tensions with Washington over Taiwan, Tibet and the Internet could complicate Beijing's timing by making some leaders reluctant to look like they were giving in to pressure, said Citigroup's Peng. It will be very difficult for Chinese authorities to justify why they are allowing the currency to appreciate now, Peng said.Appreciation is still viewed as some sort of a concession.

Portugal austerity plan has no wage cuts, tax hikes: reports
Sun Mar 7, 7:27 am ET

LISBON (Reuters) – Portugal's long-term budget austerity plan encompasses spending cuts via reducing tax breaks and containing public sector wages, but entails no Greece-style wage cuts or tax hikes, local media said on Sunday. The minority Socialist government on Saturday approved the guidelines of the plan, to be presented to Brussels later this month, but postponed the release of details, sought by markets demanding commitment to deficit and debt cuts, to this week.Officials have said the program combines public spending cuts with fiscal stability, but would not elaborate.Markets have been jittery about Lisbon's large budget deficit, which spiked to 9.3 percent of gross domestic product last year, since Greece's fiscal crisis erupted.Concern focuses on sharply rising debt servicing costs due to the impact of the deep economic slowdown, although both Portugal's deficit and debt are much below Greece's.Without quoting anyone in particular, Diario de Noticias daily said the government will cut tax breaks linked to healthcare and education from 2011, reduce public investment and impose taxes on profits made in the stock market.

It said that a freeze on public sector salaries will be extended at least for another year beyond 2010.But more drastic solutions, like those promised in Greece and Ireland including cuts in the 13th salary and vacation subsidies, are not envisaged in the document, it said.Portugal's largest union, the 725,000-strong CGTP, has threatened more strikes following last Thursday's civil servants' walkout if the government extends wage freezes.Local media also said the plan would include the sell-off of state-owned stakes in 32 companies. The reports did not say how much the government would save or gain with these measures.Pressured by the EU and markets, Greece last Wednesday announced new austerity measures worth 4.8 billion euros, including a 2 percentage point hike in value-added tax as well as cuts in holiday and vacation salary bonuses. Ireland late last year announced pay cuts in the public sector. The long-term plan, which is required under the European Union's so-called stability and growth program, aims to cut Portugal's budget deficit to below 3 percent of gross domestic product by 2013, by more than two-thirds from 2009 levels.Prime Minister Jose Socrates has already set meetings for Monday with all opposition parties, unions and business groups to discuss the plan in a bid to show a concerted national effort to repair public finances and win broad support for the plan. Some details should be made public during these discussions.Publico daily said parliament will debate the plan on March 25, and only after this it will be sent to Brussels.(Reporting by Andrei Khalip; Editing by Jon Loades-Carter)

Sarkozy to speculators: Lay off Greece By JAMEY KEATEN and ELENA BECATOROS, Associated Press Writers - Sun Mar 7, 4:57 pm ET

PARIS – Speculators beware: The euro zone's biggest powers will back Greece through the debt crisis that has jeopardized all 16 nations in the common currency, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Sunday.Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, in Paris as part of a four-city tour seeking firmer EU and U.S. support for new austerity measures to rein in its massive budget gap, received from Sarkozy the most outspoken support for his plans yet.The French leader, coveting the chance to play the statesman with regional French elections to begin next Sunday, issued a warning to traders who would bet against the euro zone's willingness to defend a member state. And in a show of high-stakes poker with speculators, he purposely didn't detail what measures the bloc might take.Papandreou's government has committed to a severe austerity plan to reduce Greece's massive 12.7 percent budget deficit, and has warned that going to the International Monetary Fund is an option if a European solution is not found. The Greek government ... took the measures asked of it. Euro zone states must now be ready to take theirs, Sarkozy told a news conference alongside Papandreou at the French presidential palace.Of course, the future of Greece is in question, but it's also that of Europe being played out, Sarkozy said. Europeans have created a common currency — all the countries that share this currency must show solidarity.Sarkozy, who along with German Chancellor Angela Merkel is seeking to calm markets and bring down Greece's high borrowing costs, didn't spell out any specific ideas.

Concrete, precise methods exist — ones we don't need to communicate about tonight, certainly not, he said. But they will allow us — when the time comes — to show that Greece isn't just supported politically but supported in all the aspects of its eventual requests.French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde is working with her European counterparts, the European Central Bank and the EU's executive Commission on a certain number of precise measures, Sarkozy said.If Greece needs them (the measures), we'll be there, he said. Speculators ... must know that solidarity means something.France, Germany and Greece will take a common initiative to fight speculation, and the euro zone's two biggest economic powers have decided to do what's necessary so that Greece is not isolated, Sarkozy said.Papandreou insisted he's not looking for money, but the ability to raise money in the debt market on the same interest-rate terms as those in other European countries. Because Greece's national debt is considered more risky in the market, Athens must pay high interest rates to lenders — and that in turn hampers its ability to pay down its debt. What we ask is for an intervention so we can borrow, he said, without specifying.Papandreou also suggested the euro-zone should consider creating a European Monetary Fund that could support a member in times of crisis, though he acknowledged that such a move would require changing EU treaties.

After the news conference with Sarkozy, Papandreou told reporters that Germany, France, Greece and the informal eurogroup would in coming days detail how they plan to deal with credit default swaps on sovereign debt — the forms of insurance against a borrower defaulting on its obligations. The need for Greece to seek help from the IMF has now receded, Papandreou said, but added that the option was still open. He said talks are under way in the EU toward finding a mechanism that would allow Greece to reduce its borrowing costs, though he did not specify.Papandreou's stop in Paris was the third of a four-stop swing aimed to drum up support for measures announced last week that cut civil servants' pay, froze pensions and hiked fuel, alcohol, sales and other taxes. He left Paris Sunday for Washington, where he was scheduled to meet Monday with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama on Tuesday. On Friday, he visited Luxembourg and Berlin. Papandreou's Socialist party came to power in October and shocked Europe by quickly revising the government's budget deficit to 12.7 percent of gross domestic product for 2009 from below 4 percent earlier that year. The situation we inherited was worse than our worst nightmare, Papandreou said in a statement to a Greek newspaper. Sarkozy is seen as far more sympathetic to Greece's problems than Merkel. The French leader spoke for about 45 minutes Sunday with Merkel before meeting with Papandreou. The austerity plan, approved by Greece's Parliament on Friday, has sparked strikes and violent demonstrations. Protesters clashed with riot police in central Athens and a new general strike has been called for Thursday, on top of another planned for March 16.

Eurozone ready to help Greece if necessary: Sarkozy
Sun Mar 7, 2:07 pm ET

PARIS (AFP) – European governments sharing the euro currency will help Greece out of financial crisis if necessary, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Sunday after talks with the Greek prime minister.I want to be very clear. If necessary, eurozone governments will fulfil their commitments and there can be no doubt about that, Sarkozy told a joint news conference with George Papandreou. If Greece needs us, we will be there, Sarkozy said.Sarkozy said governments of the 16-nation eurozone were working on a certain number of specific measures to help restore Greece but he did not provide details. The French leader noted however that today, Greece is not in need of financing, suggesting that a bailout package was not on the cards. The Greek government has taken the measures that we expected. The eurozone governments must now be ready to take theirs, he added.Following talks in Berlin, Papandreou was in Paris to seek French backing, just two days after Athens adopted new austerity measures to steer debt-crippled Greece away from financial ruin.Greece wants to find a European solution to its debt crisis and has no immediate plans to ask the International Monetary Fund for help, Papandreou said.

NUCLEAR WEAPONS WILL BE USED.

PSALMS 97:3
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

REVELATION 14:18-20
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city,(JERUSALEM) and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.(200 MILES) (THE SIZE OF ISRAEL)

ISAIAH 66:15-18
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

ISAIAH 26:21
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.(WW3,1/2 earths population die).

ISAIAH 13:6-13 KJV
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:(FROM FRIGHT)
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

ISAIAH 24:17-23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

2 TIMOTHY 3:1
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous (DANGEROUS) times shall come.

JOEL 2:3,30
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

ZECHARIAH 14:12-13
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

EZEKIEL 20:47
47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

ZEPHANIAH 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

MALACHI 4:1
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

REVELATION 8:7
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

REVELATION 9:18
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

HALF OF EARTHS POPULATION DIE DURING THE 7 YR TRIBULATION.(THESE VERSES ARE JUDGEMENT SCRIPTURES NOT RAPTURE SCRIPTURES)

LUKE 17:34-37
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.(Christians have new bodies, this is the people against Jerusalem during the 7 yr treaty)(Christians bodies are not being eaten by the birds).

MATTHEW 24:37-51
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

NKorea says ready to blow up SKorea, US By HYUNG-JIN KIM, Associated Press Writer – MAR 8,10

SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea's army said Monday it is ready to blow up South Korea and the U.S., hours after the allies kicked off annual military drills that Pyongyang has slammed as a rehearsal for attack.South Korea and the U.S. — which normally dismiss such threats as rhetoric — began 11 days of drills across South Korea on Monday morning to rehearse how the U.S. would deploy in time of emergency on the Korean peninsula. The U.S. and South Korea argue the drills — which include live firing by U.S. Marines, aerial attack drills and urban warfare training — are purely defensive. North Korea claims they amount to attack preparations and has demanded they be canceled. The North's People's Army issued a statement later Monday, warning the drills created a tense situation and that its troops are fully ready to blow up the allies once the order is issued. The North also put all its soldiers and reservists on high alert to mercilessly crush the aggressors should they encroach upon the North's territory even slightly, said the statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.

The communist country has issued similar rhetoric in the days leading up the drills. On Sunday, it said it would bolster its nuclear capability and break off dialogue with the U.S. in response to the drills.South Korea's military has been closely monitoring Pyongyang's maneuvers but hasn't seen any signs of suspicious activities by North Korean troops, Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff said earlier Monday. We see it as (North Korea's) stereotype denouncement, Defense Ministry spokesman Won Tae-jae told reporters.About 18,000 American soldiers and an undisclosed number of South Korean troops are taking part in the drills, dubbed Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, according to U.S. and South Korean militaries. The training comes as the U.S. and other regional powers are pushing for the North to rejoin international disarmament talks on ending its atomic weapons program in return for aid. The North quit the six-nation weapons talks and conducted its second nuclear test last year, drawing tighter U.N. sanctions. The North has demanded a lifting of the sanctions and peace talks with the U.S. on formally ending the Korean War before it returns to the negotiations. The U.S. and South Korea have responded that the North must first return to the disarmament talks and make progress on denuclearization. The U.S. stations about 28,500 troops in South Korea.

S.Korea, US launch war games despite N.Korean threats
MAR 8,10

SEOUL (AFP) – Tens of thousands of US and South Korean troops Monday began an annual military exercise despite threats from North Korea, which claims the drill is a preparation for nuclear war.The ten-day Key Resolve/Foal Eagle drill involves 18,000 US troops including 10,000 not based in Korea and 20,000 South Korean troops, said a spokesman for the Combined Forces Command.Troop numbers are smaller than last year and no US aircraft carrier will be involved, but the spokesman said the size of the drill was guided only by operational reasons.South Korea and the United States, which stations 28,500 troops in the country, say the exercise is purely defensive. The North habitually blasts it as a prelude to invasion and threatens counter-measures, although the exercise normally passes off without major incident.

The communist state's military Sunday threatened merciless physical force in response to any attack and said it was no longer bound by the armistice that ended the 1950-53 Korean War.It also vowed to halt nuclear disarmament efforts and strengthen its atomic arsenal. The North is under pressure to return to six-nation nuclear disarmament talks which it abandoned last April, a month before staging a second nuclear test.

Al-Qaida calls on US Muslims to attack America By PATRICK QUINN, Associated Press Writer – Sun Mar 7, 1:05 pm ET

CAIRO – Al-Qaida's American-born spokesman on Sunday called on Muslims serving in the U.S. armed forces to emulate the Army major charged with killing 13 people in Fort Hood.In a 25-minute video posted on militant Web sites, Adam Gadahn described Maj. Nidal Hasan as a pioneer who should serve as a role model for other Muslims, especially those serving Western militaries.Brother Nidal is the ideal role-model for every repentant Muslim in the armies of the unbelievers and apostate regimes, he said.Gadahn, also known as Azzam al-Amriki, was dressed in white robes and wearing a white turban as he called for attacks on what he described as high-value targets.

Gadahn grew up on a goat farm in Riverside County, California, and converted to Islam at a mosque in nearby Orange County. You shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that military bases are the only high-value targets in America and the West. On the contrary, there are countless other strategic places, institutions and installations which, by striking, the Muslim can do major damage, he said, an assault rifle leaning up against a wall next to him.Gadahn has been wanted by the FBI since 2004 and two years later was charged with treason. There is a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction. He has in the past posted videos and messages calling for the destruction of the West and for strikes against targets in the United States. His location is unknown, but he is believed to be somewhere along the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.Hasan has been charged in the Nov. 5 shooting that killed 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas. The 39-year-old Army psychiatrist remains paralyzed from the chest down after being shot by two civilian members of Fort Hood's police force.Nidal Hasan is a pioneer, a trailblazer and a role-model who has opened a door, lit a path and shown the way forward for every Muslim who finds himself among the unbelievers, Gadahn said.

In the latest video, Gadahn said those planning attacks did not need to use only firearms like Hasan, but could use other weapons. As the blessed operations of September 11th showed, a little imagination and planning and a limited budget can turn almost anything into a deadly, effective and convenient weapon.Gadahn said fighters should target mass transportation systems in the West and also wreak havoc by killing or capturing people in government, industry and the media. He recommended finding ways to shake "consumer confidence and stifle spending" and noted that even unsuccessful attacks, such as the failed attempt to bomb a U.S. airliner on Christmas Day, can bring major cities to a halt.I am calling on every honest and vigilant Muslim in the countries of the Zionist-Crusader alliance in general and America, Britain and Israel in particular to prepare to play his due role in responding to and repelling the aggression of the enemies of Islam,Gadahn said.

China says Iran sanctions no cure By Chris Buckley And Ben Blanchard – Sun Mar 7, 2:23 am ET

BEIJING (Reuters) – China's Foreign Minister said on Sunday new sanctions on Iran will not solve the standoff over its nuclear program, while chiding the United States after two months of tensions between the big powers. As everyone knows, pressure and sanctions are not the fundamental way forward to resolving the Iran nuclear issue, and cannot fundamentally solve this issue, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi told a news conference on the sidelines of China's annual parliament.

Washington and other Western powers want China to approve a proposed United Nations resolution imposing new sanctions on Tehran, which they say wants the means to make nuclear weapons and has violated non-proliferation safeguards.Beijing has previously resisted calls for harsh sanctions against Iran, a big source of oil for China, and Yang emphasized his government's reluctance, while stopping short of outright opposing any new U.N. resolution.Frankly speaking, there are some difficulties surrounding efforts to settle the Iranian nuclear issue at present, but we don't think diplomatic efforts have been exhausted, he said.Tehran denies it wants to build an atomic bomb and says its uranium enrichment is for future electricity generation and for medical isotopes.

IMPORTS IRANIAN OIL

A draft Western document proposes restricting more Iranian banks abroad, but does not call for sanctions against Iran's oil and gas industries.China is one of the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council, each holding the power to veto resolutions.Beijing has long said sanctions are not an effective tool for resolving international disputes, including over Iran, which is a major source of crude oil for China.China has backed previous U.N. resolutions against Iran, after working to cut out proposed measures that could threaten flows of oil and Chinese investments.

Yang has restated China's basic position that the focus has to be on diplomacy, said Shi Yinhong, a professor of international relations at Renmin University in Beijing.
China will bargain in the Security Council, and if the sanctions can be weakened enough, then naturally China will vote for them as it has for previous resolutions (about Iran), said Shi.It will be up to how far the United States and other Western countries are willing to dilute their demands, he added.China wants a resolution without many teeth.Shi said China would be wary of sanctions on Iranian banks that could entangle its energy imports from Iran, the fast-growing Asian economy's third biggest foreign supplier of crude oil last year.

US TIES STRAINED

The Iran nuclear dispute is one of a number of issues that are testing ties between China and the United States. The two countries have tussled recently over trade, Chinese internet controls, U.S. weapons sales to Taiwan, and President Barack Obama's meeting with the Dalai Lama, the exiled Tibetan Buddhist leader. Beijing considers Taiwan an illegitimate breakaway from mainland rule, and reviles the Dalai Lama as a separatist for seeking self-rule for his homeland. This week, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg visited Beijing to seek to ease friction and discuss the Iran nuclear dispute. Yang said relations between the two powers had been seriously upset, and he blamed Washington. I believe the United States understands very well China's core interests and major concerns,he said, referring to Taiwan and Tibet. Beijing has not yet acted on its threat to sanction U.S. companies involved in $6.4 billion of new arms sales to Taiwan that the Obama administration moved forward with in late January. Yang said it was wrong to say China had become hawkish. Resolutely adhering to one's principled stance is not the same thing as being hardline, he said. Shi, the professor, said Yang's comments indicated that China has misgivings about the Obama administration. China doesn't want confrontation, but is not rushing to fully restore relations with the United States,he said. (Additional reporting by Emma Graham-Harrison; Editing by Bill Tarrant)

Palestinians agree to indirect peace talks with Israel by Nasser Abu Bakr – Sun Mar 7, 12:56 pm ET

RAMALLAH, West Bank (AFP) – The Palestinians agreed on Sunday to give indirect peace talks with Israel a chance after months of US-led efforts to lure both sides back to the negotiating table.Yasser Abed Rabbo, a senior official in the Palestine Liberation Organisation, announced the Palestinians would embark on US-mediated talks but expressed deep scepticism over the prospects of success. The Palestinian leadership has decided to give an opportunity for the American suggestion to hold indirect talks between the Israeli and Palestinian sides, Abed Rabbo told reporters in the West Bank town of Ramallah. But he went on to cite a list of Israeli violations of previous agreements, led by the continuing expansion of settlements that he said would make direct negotiations impossible and could scupper the indirect talks. The decision, taken at a PLO executive committee meeting in Ramallah, came as US Middle East envoy George Mitchell was meeting with Israeli leaders on his latest trip to the region.Mitchell met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for over two hours Sunday afternoon, in what a statement from Netanyahu's office characterised as a good conversation. The statement said the two would meet again on Monday, before Mitchell goes to Ramallah for talks with the Palestinian leadership.

US Vice President Joe Biden is also expected this week.

The Palestinians' approval was expected after Arab foreign ministers last week expressed grudging support for the talks, following months of shuttle diplomacy by Mitchell.Abed Rabbo, the PLO secretary general, said the indirect talks would be limited to four months as proposed by the Arab ministers and should focus first on final borders. The Arab position was clear. If there is no real progress within four months, there are different options, including going directly to the UN Security Council, he said. The Islamist movement Hamas, which opposes any talks with Israel and rules Gaza, is not a member of the PLO, an umbrella group that includes president Mahmud Abbas's Fatah party and several smaller factions.Palestinian officials had expressed doubts about the talks ahead of the PLO meeting but said they did not want to be seen as hindering US-led efforts to revive peace talks suspended during the December 2008-January 2009 Gaza war.We think it's unlikely that these indirect negotiations with the Netanyahu government will succeed, senior Fatah official Azzam al-Ahmad said. But we want to give an opportunity to the US administration to continue its efforts, Ahmad told AFP.Netanyahu has repeatedly called for direct talks with the Palestinians but has refused to completely freeze settlement growth. In November, Netanyahu imposed a 10-month halt to building starts in the West Bank but the Palestinians said the move was insufficient because it excluded east Jerusalem, public buildings and existing projects.Israel seized mostly Arab east Jerusalem in the 1967 Six-Day War and annexed it in a move not recognised by the international community or the Palestinians, who view it as the capital of their future state. On Sunday, Israel's Haaretz newspaper cited a government memo as saying the Jewish state expected little pressure from the Obama administration ahead of US congressional elections in November. In our assessment, the administration will focus in the coming year on domestic issues that are expected to determine the results of the congressional elections, it said, quoting an internal foreign ministry memo. As such, and due to the difficulties to date in achieving significant gains in the peace process, we can assume that the administration's focus on this issue will be limited.

Iceland vote: president challenges Gordon Brown by Marc Preel – Sun Mar 7, 9:48 pm ET

REYKJAVIK (AFP) – Iceland's president bounced the ball back into Prime Minister Gordon Brown's court after voters overwhelmingly rejected a plan to pay Britain and the Netherlands billions for losses in the Icesave bank collapse.President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, whose refusal to sign the compensation bill voted through parliament in December led directly to the referendum, challenged Britain's prime minister to settle the matter.Gordon Brown should now step forward and ensure the next steps to guarantee a solution that everyone can accept, he told state broadcasters RUV Sunday. The big question now is what Gordon Brown will do.Final results Sunday of the weekend referendum on the deal showed that 93.2 percent of voters had rejected it.That sent Iceland's leftwing government back into talks with London and The Hague to find a solution more acceptable to the country's voters.

The Treasury and the Dutch finance ministry have both described the referendum results as an internal matter for Iceland. Both countries have already said they are ready for further talks on the matter. And Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling told the BBC on Sunday: The fundamental point for us is that we get our money back -- but on the terms and conditions and so on, we're prepared to be flexible.About 230,000 Icelanders were called to polling stations Saturday to say whether the country should honour a deal to repay Britain and the Netherlands 3.9 billion euros (5.3 billion dollars), at 5.5-percent interest, by 2024. Related article: Events leading to Iceland bank payout referendum. This would be to compensate the two countries for money they paid to 340,000 of their citizens hit by the collapse of Icesave in 2008.Grimsson congratulated Iceland's voters Sunday for sending a clear message. He had already argued that Icelanders were willing to agreement a settlement. But they are not ready to pay a very high interest rate so that the British and Dutch governments would make a huge profit off this whole exercise.Prime Minister Johanna Sigurdardottir, who had argued that with a new deal around the corner the vote was meaningless, told RUV broadcaster the result had come as no surprise. After this referendum it is our job to start finishing the negotiations, she added.

Reykjavik has for weeks been attempting to hammer out a new agreement with Britain and the Netherlands. Under pressure from the opposition, the government even turned down a more favourable offer than the one voted down on Saturday. Some observers had warned that a "no" vote might delay the payment of the remaining half of an International Monetary Fund rescue package worth 2.1-billion dollars. Related article: Icelanders express frustration and fury as they vote There were also fears it could hit European Union and euro currency membership talks, as well as Iceland's credit rating. But a European Commission spokesman said of the result: This is a subject which it is for the Icelanders to have their say on.Iceland's bid for European Union membership was an entirely separate matter, he added. The Commission has already given its green light (for the opening of membership talks): now it's in the hands of the member states,he added. Iceland's Finance Minister Steingrimur Sigfusson stressed the importance of quickly securing a new deal, preferably before British and Dutch elections due in May and June. If we were not successful in solving this before (those elections), it might take some time to form new governments so that could mean further delays,he told reporters Sunday. More delays in the drawn-out Icesave debacle could prove fatal to Iceland's leftwing government, which negotiated the agreement considered by many here as little more than a foreign diktat. The government stands weak after this result, said Eirikur Bergmann Einarsson, a political science professor at the Bifrost University. The referendum result sent a clear message that: Iceland will not be bullied into an unjust agreement.

NAIROBI (AFP) – African economies are recovering from the global downturn faster than the International Monetary Fund's forecasts, director Dominique Strauss-Kahn said Sunday.Tighter fiscal policies in many African countries, South Africa's slow recession and a robust growth in Nigeria in the second half of 2009 have stoked the quick recovery, the IMF said.South Africa and Nigeria are sub-Sahara Africa's biggest economies. We expected the Asian markets to recover quicker than the African countries but we are surprised even the African economies are recovering faster than we expected, Strauss-Kahn told reporters in Nairobi.IMF's Africa division director Antoinette Monsio Sayeh said the continent would record around two percent growth against the predicted one percent. Our expectation was that this could be worse... So we think we would be a little less than two percent rather than the one percent, Sayeh said.It is still the case that 2009 was a very difficult year for the region. The less than two percent comes almost after a decade of some five to seven percent average growth for the region and significant increases as a result of the per capita income, she added.

China defends growing links with Africa
Sun Mar 7, 3:37 am ET

BEIJING (AFP) – China rejected foreign concerns over its growing energy links with Africa on Sunday, saying it benefits African nations by bringing badly needed trade and infrastructure development.I have noticed that in the international community there are some who do not want to see the development of Sino-African relations and always make an issue of China-Africa energy cooperation, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said. The fact is that China's oil imports from Africa account for only 13 percent of Africa's total exports, while Europe and the United States account for more than 30 percent, he told reporters.Speaking at a press briefing on the sidelines of China's annual parliament session, Yang added Chinese investment in the African petroleum industry was just one-sixteenth of the world total, behind US and European investment. We support other countries cooperating with Africa on the basis of equality and mutual benefit in the energy sector. There is no reason for them to oppose our equal and mutually beneficial cooperation with Africa, he said.China has steadily built up trade and economic ties with Africa in recent years, prompting critics in the West to accuse it of taking a neo-colonialist attitude toward the continent.

Beijing also has been criticised for befriending pariah regimes such as those in Sudan and Zimbabwe in a cynical bid to lock up supplies of resources needed to fuel expansion of its economy, the world's third largest. In November, at a meeting of China-Africa leaders in Egypt, Beijing pledged 10 billion dollars in concessional loans to African countries.Yang, who travelled to Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Algeria and Morocco in January is what has become an annual New Year trip, said the freedom of African countries to choose their friends should not be interfered with.In our cooperation with the people of African countries, we jointly build railways, roads, bridges, and improve their infrastructure for the benefit of the people,he said.

Top home-school texts dismiss Darwin, evolution By DYLAN LOVAN, Associated Press Writer – Sat Mar 6, 6:57 pm ET

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Home-school mom Susan Mule wishes she hadn't taken a friend's advice and tried a textbook from a popular Christian publisher for her 10-year-old's biology lessons.Mule's precocious daughter Elizabeth excels at science and has been studying tarantulas since she was 5. But she watched Elizabeth's excitement turn to confusion when they reached the evolution section of the book from Apologia Educational Ministries, which disputed Charles Darwin's theory.I thought she was going to have a coronary, Mule said of her daughter, who is now 16 and taking college courses in Houston. She's like, This is not true! Christian-based materials dominate a growing home-school education market that encompasses more than 1.5 million students in the U.S. And for most home-school parents, a Bible-based version of the Earth's creation is exactly what they want. Federal statistics from 2007 show 83 percent of home-schooling parents want to give their children religious or moral instruction. The majority of home-schoolers self-identify as evangelical Christians, said Ian Slatter, a spokesman for the Home School Legal Defense Association. Most home-schoolers will definitely have a sort of creationist component to their home-school program. Those who don't, however, often feel isolated and frustrated from trying to find a textbook that fits their beliefs.

Two of the best-selling biology textbooks stack the deck against evolution, said some science educators who reviewed sections of the books at the request of The Associated Press.I feel fairly strongly about this. These books are promulgating lies to kids, said Jerry Coyne, an ecology and evolution professor at the University of Chicago. The textbook publishers defend their books as well-rounded lessons on evolution and its shortcomings. One of the books doesn't attempt to mask disdain for Darwin and evolutionary science. Those who do not believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God will find many points in this book puzzling, says the introduction to Biology: Third Edition from Bob Jones University Press. This book was not written for them. The textbook delivers a religious ultimatum to young readers and parents, warning in its History of Life chapter that a Christian worldview ... is the only correct view of reality; anyone who rejects it will not only fail to reach heaven but also fail to see the world as it truly is.When the AP asked about that passage, university spokesman Brian Scoles said the sentence made it into the book because of an editing error and will be removed from future editions. The size of the business of home-school texts isn't clear because the textbook industry is fragmented and privately held publishers don't give out sales numbers. Slatter said home-school material sales reach about $1 billion annually in the U.S.Publishers are well aware of the market, said Jay Wile, a former chemistry professor in Indianapolis who helped launch the Apologia curriculum in the early 1990s.If I'm planning to write a curriculum, and I want to write it in a way that will appeal to home-schoolers, I'm going to at least find out what my demographic is, Wile said.

In Kentucky, Lexington home-schooler Mia Perry remembers feeling disheartened while flipping through a home-school curriculum catalog and finding so many religious-themed textbooks. We're not religious home-schoolers, and there's somewhat of a feeling of being outnumbered, said Perry, who has home-schooled three of her four children after removing her oldest child from a public school because of a health condition.Perry said she cobbled together her own curriculum after some mainstream publishers told her they would not sell directly to home-schooling parents. Wendy Womack, another Lexington home-school mother, said the only scientifically credible curriculum she's found is from the Maryland-based Calvert School, which has been selling study-at-home materials for more than 100 years. Apologia and Bob Jones University Press say their science books sell well. Apologia's Exploring Creation biology textbook retails for $65, while Bob Jones' Biology Third Edition lists at $52. Coyne and Virginia Tech biology professor Duncan Porter reviewed excerpts from the Apologia and Bob Jones biology textbooks, which are equivalent to ninth- and 10th-grade biology lessons. Porter said he would give the books an F. If this is the way kids are home-schooled then they're being shortchanged, both rationally and in terms of biology,Coyne said. He argued that the books may steer students away from careers in biology or the study of the history of the earth. Wile countered that Coyne feels compelled to lie in order to prop up a failing hypothesis (evolution). We definitely do not lie to the students. We tell them the facts that people like Dr. Coyne would prefer to cover up.Adam Brown's parents say their 16-year-old son's belief in the Bible's creation story isn't deterring him from pursuing a career in marine biology. His parents, Ken and Polly Brown, taught him at their Cedar Grove, Ind., home using the Apologia curriculum and other science texts. Polly Brown said her son would gladly take college courses that include evolution, and he'll be able to provide the expected answers even though he disagrees. He probably knows it better than the kids who have been taught evolution all through public school, Polly Brown said. But that is in order for him to understand both sides of that argument because he will face it throughout his higher education.

TORAH PORTION FROM MAR 07 2010 6PM - MAR 13 6PM 2010

EXODUS 35:1 - 38:20
1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.
3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
4 And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
6 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
7 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
8 And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
9 And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
10 And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;
11 The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
12 The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,
13 The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,
14 The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
15 And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
16 The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,
17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,
18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.
20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.
23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.
24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.
27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
32 And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.
34 And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

EXODUS 36:1-38
1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
9 The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.
10 And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.
11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
12 Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.
13 And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.
14 And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
15 The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.
16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.
17 And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
18 And he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.
19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that.
20 And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.
22 One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
24 And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
25 And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,
26 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
27 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.
28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.
30 And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.
31 And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
32 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.
33 And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.
34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
35 And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.
36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.
37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;
38 And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.

EXODUS 37:1-29
1 And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:
2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.
3 And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
4 And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
5 And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
6 And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
7 And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
8 One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
9 And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
10 And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof:
11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about.
12 Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.
13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.
14 Over against the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
15 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
16 And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.
17 And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
18 And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
19 Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
20 And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
21 And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
22 Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
23 And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
25 And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
27 And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
28 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
29 And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.

EXODUS 38:1-20
1 And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.
2 And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.
3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.
4 And he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.
5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves.
6 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.
7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.
8 And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
9 And he made the court: on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, an hundred cubits:
10 Their pillars were twenty, and their brasen sockets twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.
11 And for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
13 And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.
14 The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
15 And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.
17 And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.
18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.
19 And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their chapiters and their fillets of silver.
20 And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.

PROPHETS PORTION

1 KINGS 7:13-26,40-50
13 And king Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
14 He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
15 For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.
16 And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
17 And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.
18 And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
19 And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.
20 And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
21 And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
22 And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
23 And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
24 And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
25 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
26 And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
40 And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the basons. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he made king Solomon for the house of the LORD:
41 The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;
42 And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
43 And the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;
44 And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
45 And the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
46 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
47 And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.
48 And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,
49 And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
50 And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.

NEW TESTAMENT PORTION

2 CORINTHIANS 9:1-15
1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

HEBREWS 9:1-14
1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

REVELATION 11:1-13
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
