17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

GENESIS 28:14

2 SAMUEL 7:12-13
12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

ISAIAH 9:6-7
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

ISAIAH 11:1-5
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

HAVE ETERNAL EXISTENCE

MICAH 5:1-2
1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

JOHN 1:1,14

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

COLOSSIANS 1:15-19
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell.

REVELATION 1:18
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

PROVERBS 30:4

MATTHEW 3:17
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
LUKE 1:32

HAVE GOD'S OWN NAME YUD-HEH-VAV-HEH, APPLIED TO HIM

ISAIAH 9:5-7
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

JEREMIAH 23:5-6
5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

ROMANS 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

COME 69X7 YEARS (483 YEARS) AFTER THE REBUILDING OF THE WALL OF JERUSALEM

DANIEL 9:24-26
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

MATTHEW 2:1,16,19
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt.

LUKE 3:1,23
1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene.
23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

BE BORN OF A VIRGIN

ISAIAH 7:14
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

MATTHEW 1:18-2:1
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.

LUKE 1:26-35
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

BE BORN IN BETHLEHEM IN JUDAH

MATTHEW 2:1
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.

LUKE 2:4-7
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

BE ADORED BY GREAT PERSONS

PSALMS 72:10-11
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

MATTHEW 2:1-11
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

BE PRECEDED BY ONE WHO WOULD ANNOUNCE HIM

ISAIAH 40:3-5
3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

MALACHI 3:1
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

MATTHEW 3:1-3
1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

LUKE 1:17
17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

LUKE 3:2-6
2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;
4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

BE ANNOINTED WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD

ISAIAH 11:2
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

ISAIAH 61:1
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

PSALMS 45:7-8
7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

MATTHEW 3:16
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.

JOHN 3:34
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

ACTS 10:38
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

BE A PROPHET LIKE MOSES

DEUTERONOMY 18:15,18
15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

ACTS 3:20-22
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

HAVE A MINISTRY OF BINDING UP THE BROKEN HEARTED.

ISAIAH 61:1-2
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

LUKE 4:18-19
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

HAVE A MINISTRY OF HEALING

ISAIAH 35:5-6
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.

ISAIAH 42:18
18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

MATTHEW 11:5
5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

HAVE A MINISTRY IN THE GALILEE

ISAIAH 9:1-2
1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

MATTHEW 4:12-16
12 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
13 And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
14 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

BE TENDER AND COMPASSIONATE

ISAIAH 40:11
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

ISAIAH 42:3
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

MATTHEW 12:15,20
15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

HEBREWS 4:15
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

BE MEEK

ISAIAH 42:2
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

MATTHEW 12:15-16,19
15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
16 And charged them that they should not make him known:
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

BE SINLESS AND WITHOUT GUILE

ISAIAH 53:9
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

1 PETER 2:22
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.

BEAR THE REPROACHES DUE OTHERS

ISAIAH 53:11-12
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

PSALMS 69:9-10
9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

ROMANS 15:3
3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

BE A PRIEST

PSALMS 110:4
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

HEBREWS 5:5-6
5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

HEBREWS 6:20
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

HEBREWS 7:15-17
15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

ENTER PUBLICALY INTO JERUSALEM ON A DONKEY

ZECHARIAH 9:9
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

MATTHEW 21:1-11
1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

MARK 11:1-11
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.
8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

ENTER THE TEMPLE WITH AUTHORITY

MALACHI 3:1
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

MATTHEW 21:12-46-24:1
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,
16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.
18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.
32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.
40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

MATTHEW 22:1-46
1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 And last of all the woman died also.
28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

MATTHEW 23:1-39
1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

LUKE 2:27-38,45-50
27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;
35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

JOHN 2:13-22
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

BE HATED WITHOUT CAUSE

ISAIAH 49:7
7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

PSALMS 69:4-5
4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
5 O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

JOHN 15:24-25
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

BE UNDESIRED AND REJECTED BY HIS OWN PEOPLE

ISAIAH 53:2-3
2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
3 For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

ISAIAH 63:3,5
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

PSALMS 69:8-9
8 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

MARK 6:3
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

LUKE 9:58
58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

JOHN 1:11
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

JOHN 7:3-5
3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

BE REJECTED BY THE JEWISH LEADERSHIP

PSALM 118:22
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

MATTHEW 21:42
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

JOHN 7:48
48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

BE PLOTTED AGAINST BY BOTH JEWS AND GENTILES (WORLD NATIONS)

PSALMS 2:1-2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

ACTS 4:27
27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together.

BE BETRAYED BY A FRIEND

PSALMS 41:9-10
9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

PSALM 55:12-15
12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

MATTHEW 26:21-25,47-50
21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.
24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.
47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

JOHN 13:18-21
18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

ACTS 1:16-18
16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

BE SOLD FOR 30 PIECES OF SILVER

ZECHARIAH 11:12
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

MATTHEW 26:15
15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

HAVE HIS PRICE GIVEN FOR A POTTERS FIELD

ZECHARIAH 11:13
13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

MATTHEW 27:6-7
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.

BE FORSAKEN BY HIS TALMIDIM

ZECHARIAH 13:7
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

MATTHEW 26:31,56
31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

BE STRUCK ON THE CHEEK

MICAH 4:13
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

MICAH 5:1
1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

MATTHEW 27:30
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

BE SPAT ON

ISAIAH 50:6
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

MATTHEW 26:67
67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

MATTHEW 27:30
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

BE MOCKED

PSALMS 22:7-9
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

MATTHEW 26:67-68
67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,
68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

MATTHEW 27:31,39-44
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

BE BEATEN

ISAIAH 50:6
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

MATTHEW 26:67
67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

MATTHEW 27:26,30
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

BE EXECUTED BY CRUCIFIXION, BY HAVING HIS HANDS AND FEET PIRECED

PSALMS 22:16-17
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

ZECHARIAH 12:10
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

MATTHEW 27:35
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

LUKE 24:39
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

JOHN 19:18,34-37
18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

JOHN 20:20-28
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

REVELATION 1:7
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

BE THIRSTY DURING HIS EXECUTION

PSALMS 22:15-16
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

JOHN 19:28
28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

BE GIVEN VINEGAR TO QUENCH HIS THIRST

PSALMS 69:21-22
21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

MATTHEW 27:34
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

BE EXECUTED WITHOUT HAVING A BONE BROKEN

EXODUS 12:46
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

PSALMS 34:20-21
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

JOHN 19:33-36
33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

BE CONSIDERED A TRANSGRESSOR

ISAIAH 53:12
12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward.

MATTHEW 27:3
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

BE CUT OFF BUT NOT FOR HIMSELF

DANIEL 9:26
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

ROMANS 5:16
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

1 PETER 3:18
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

BE THE ONE WHOS DEATH WOULD ATONE FOR SINS OF MANKIND

ISAIAH 53:5-7,12
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

MARK 10:45
45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

JOHN 1:29
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

JOHN 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

ACTS 8:30-35
30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

BE BURIED WITH THE RICH WHEN DEAD

ISAIAH 53:9
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

MATTHEW 27:57-60
57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

BE RAISED FROM THE DEAD

ISAIAH 53:9-10
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

PSAMS 2:7
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

PSALMS 16:10
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

MATTHEW 28:1-20
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

ACTS 2:23-36
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

ACTS 13:33-37
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:4-6
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

ASCENDED TO THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD

PSALMS 16:11
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

PSALMS 68:18-19
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

PSALMS 110:1
1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

EXERCISE HIS PRIESTLY OFFICE IN HEAVEN

ZECHARIAH 6:13
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

ROMANS 8:34
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

HEBREWS 7:25-8:2
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

BE THE CORNERSTONE OF GOD'S MESSIANIC COMMUNITY

ISAIAH 28:16
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

PSALMS 118:22-23
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

MATTHEW 21:42
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

EPHESIANS 2:20
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.

1 PETER 2:5-7
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

BE SOUGHT AFTER BY GENTILES AS WELL AS JEWS

ISAIAH 11:10
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

ISAIAH 42:1
1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

ACTS 10:45-46
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

ACTS 13:46-48
46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

BE ACCEPTED BY THE GENTILES

ISAIAH 11:10
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

ISAIAH 42:1-4
1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

ISAIAH 49:1-6
1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
3 And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

MATTHEW 12:18-21
18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

ROMANS 9:30
30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

ROMANS 10:20
20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

ROMANS 11:11
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

ROMANS 15:10
10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

BE THE KING

PSALMS 2:6
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

JOHN 18:33,37
33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

BE SEEN BY ISRAEL AS PIERCED

ZECHARIAH 12:10
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

PSALMS 22:16-17
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

LUKE 24:39
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

JOHN 19:34-37
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

REVELATION 1:7
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

GEORGIA PRAYS FOR RAIN

DISEASES

REVELATION 6:7-8
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse:(CHLORES GREEN) and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword,(WEAPONS) and with hunger,(FAMINE) and with death,(INCURABLE DISEASES) and with the beasts of the earth.(ANIMAL TO HUMAN DISEASE).

Bird flu outbreak in Eastern England confirmed British officials say strain of the disease has been found in turkeys 2:06 p.m. ET, Mon., Nov. 12, 2007

LONDON - British officials on Monday confirmed an outbreak of bird flu in turkeys on a farm in eastern England. The department said the turkeys had tested positive for the H5 subtype of the disease. It was not yet known whether it was the H5N1 strain, which has killed dozens of people around the world. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said a two-mile protection zone and a six-mile surveillance zone had been set up around a farm in Diss, about 100 miles northeast of London, and all 5,000 turkeys, geese and ducks on the premises would be slaughtered.

Within these zones bird movements will be restricted and all birds must be housed or otherwise isolated from contact with wild birds, DEFRA said, adding that the European Union had been informed. In February, an outbreak of H5N1 bird flu on a poultry farm in the same part of England led to the slaughter of almost 160,000 turkeys. No definitive source was found for that outbreak, which matched a strain that had earlier infected geese in southern Hungary. It appears to have been detected quite early, Britain's deputy chief veterinary officer Fred Landeg told British Broadcasting Corp. television, discussing the most recent outbreak. But we have to establish whether there is any other infection in the area, we have to establish the source of the infection, and we have to establish whether the disease has spread any further.Landeg said the virus might have been spread by wild birds, by animals at another farm, or by the circulation of contaminated poultry products.

Britain's first case of H5N1 flu was in a swan in Scotland in 2006.

Bird flu has killed or prompted the culling of millions of birds worldwide since late 2003, when it first began ravaging Asian poultry stocks. It has killed at least 205 people worldwide, but remains hard for humans to catch. Experts fear it could mutate into a form that spreads easily among people, potentially sparking a pandemic. Experts think most human cases are due to contact with infected birds. The bird flu outbreak is the latest in a string of bad news for the British farming industry, which is still recovering from outbreaks of foot-and-mouth and blue-tongue disease over the summer. Neither disease affects humans, but both can sicken animals, and the restrictions and slaughter of livestock imposed in their wake have cost farmers millions of pounds (dollars; euros). The Associated Press.

FAMINE

REVELATION 6:5-6
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Georgians Pray for Rain ... Literally Governor Said He'll Join a Prayer Vigil on Capitol Steps From GMA Nov. 13, 2007

Share Drought conditions are so bad in Georgia that the governor has called for Georgians to join in a prayer vigil on the steps of the state capitol, in the hopes that the heavens will unleash the rain. Should The Governor Pray For Rain?Gov. Sonny Perdue has tried several ways to ease the crisis caused by the region's historic drought — from lawsuits to new laws restricting water use — but the water is still running out, and it just won't rain.
His office says Perdue will join local ministers, looking to the skies and begging to the almighty for relief. But some Georgians, such as atheist Ed Buckner, are not impressed. He and other protesters plan to demonstrate at today's service. We've got a real problem. Let's try to do something real about it and instead of grandstanding, said Buckner, who is a member of the Atlanta Freethought Society. It is also an absurd, foolish thing to do, and it makes the state of Georgia and Georgians like myself look dumb, Buckner added. This summer Alabama Gov. Bob Riley tried something similar, asking residents to pray for rain for an entire week. It didn't rain then, and it hasn't rained much since.

Prayers and Science

Since the dawn of time, people have prayed for rain in some form — from the tribes of Africa to American Indians. And where prayer fails, science sometimes pulls through. In China, they're seeding the clouds to force rain — a tool the government hopes will be useful leading up to the Beijing Olympics to help cut down on pollution. Praying for RainTo seed the clouds, a flare filled with silver iodide, or dry ice, is shot into the sky, or a plane drops the chemicals into the clouds. At high elevations, the chemicals attract moisture and freeze, and then melt on their way to ground, producing rain. It actually works. Cloud seeding is not only done in the U.S., and has been done here since the early 1950s, but there's probably 30 to 40 countries conducting cloud-seeding programs, said weather consultant Don Griffith. Apparently, none of those counties are in the state of Georgia.

HOARDING OF GOLD AND SILVER

DOCTOR DOCTORIAN FROM ANGEL OF GOD
then the angel said, Financial crisis will come to Asia. I will shake the world.

JAMES 5:1-3
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

REVELATION 18:10,17,19
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

EZEKIEL 7:19
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

REVELATION 13:16-18
16 And he(FALSE POPE) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:(CHIP IMPLANT)
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.(6-6-6) A NUMBER SYSTEM

$1 billion a day for foreign oil Causes higher outflow of American dollars November 12, 2007 1:00 a.m. Eastern - By Jerome R. Corsi
2007 WorldNetDaily.com

With oil closing at $96.20 a barrel on Friday and the United States importing as much as 12 million barrels of oil daily, Americans are now paying other countries some $1.15 billion per day for continued dependence upon foreign oil. On a yearly basis, that amounts to some $421 billion for foreign crude. By comparison, oil was averaging $24 a barrel in Jan. 2001 when President George Bush was inaugurated for his first term. At that time, there was an outflow of only $288 billion per year for foreign oil. With Turkey threatening to invade Iraq to attack Kurdish insurgents and with Pakistan currently under martial law with the prospect of a presidential election in January still shaky, we're on the verge of oil topping $100 per barrel.

Should Israel or the Bush administration decide to launch a pre-emptive strike on Iran, oil could easily skyrocket to more than $125 a barrel overnight. Rapidly rising oil prices are putting great pressure on the U.S. dollar, as sending overseas more dollars to buy foreign oil aggravates an already negative balance of payments situation. Put simply, 1988 marked the United States' transition from being a net world creditor to a net world debtor.
Rapidly rising oil prices threaten to intensify our expanding current account trade balance, measured as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product. All this adds pressure to a rapidly devaluating dollar that ended Friday at a new low of 75.39 on the U.S. Dollar Index. On Friday, the dollar also closed at $1.467 against the euro, continuing a string of continued dollar lows against the euro. Moreover, rising oil prices are driving a dramatic shift of wealth, with U.S. dollars flowing overseas to oil producing countries, including dedicated enemies of the United States.

According to the Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy, or EIA, America's five top suppliers of oil, Canada (1.95 million barrels of oil imported to the U.S. daily in August), Saudi Arabia (1.47 million barrels), Mexico (1.38 million barrels), Nigeria (1.18 million barrels) and Venezuela (1.14 million barrels) are each receiving over $90 million from the United States each day, as long as oil remains over $90 per barrel. The dramatic oil price increases of recent months have resulted in oil windfall profits to countries which are sometimes less than certain friends of the United States. In the 1980s, President Reagan was able to pressure the fall in the Soviet Union, in part by working with oil producing countries including Saudi Arabia to increase world oil supplies and push the price of oil down to under $14 a barrel in 1989, thereby squeezing Russia's oil exporting revenue. Today, Russia, with oil exports of 6.57 million of oil a day in 2006, is not far behind, with over $600 million a day in oil revenue at current prices. Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela import over 2 million barrels of oil a day, realizing over $180 million. Iran uses much of its oil windfall profits to support Islamic radicals and terrorists, including Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza, both sworn enemies of Israel. Dubai, rapidly becoming the Singapore of the Middle East, has accumulated more than $100 billion sovereign funds available for international investment. Venezuela's windfall oil profits provide a strong economic base from which Hugo Chavez continues to rail against the United States in South America and around the world. A Standard Charter bank study estimates that sovereign wealth funds, largely held by the OPEC oil producing countries, could grow from their current value of $2.2 trillion to $13.4 trillion, largely fueled by windfall price increases in their oil exporting revenue.

Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, exported over 8.65 million barrels of oil a day in 2006, meaning that today the kingdom leads the world at realizing more than $832 million a day in oil-import revenue at today's prices. According to the most recent figures from the EIA, the United States in August imported an average of 10,284 million barrels of oil per day. The EIA also reports U.S. oil consumption has exceeded 20 million barrels of oil a day, at an average of 20,588 million barrels of oil a day in 2006. In recent years, the EIA reports estimate the U.S. is approaching importing approximately 60 percent of the oil we consume, as much as 12 million barrels of the 20 million barrels Americans use every day, in rounded numbers analyzing U.S. oil imports and consumption over the past 3 years.

Whose Promised Land? Psalm 78:54-55 (ISRAELS)

55 He also drove out the nations before them,Allotted them an inheritance by survey, And made the tribes of Israel dwell in their tents.

JERUSALEM DIVIDED

ZECHARIAH 12:1-5 King James Bible
1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

JOEL 3:2
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

ZECHARIAH 14:1-9 King James Bible
1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

To Save Jerusalem We Must End the Peace Process by Ted Belman - Our defensive line must be the Jordan River. NOV 12,07

The Coordinating Council on Jerusalem is off to a good start. The organizations joining, and there are many, have accepted the principle that defending Jerusalem from division is more The rabbi was wrong in his facts, wrong in his law and wrong in his belief that a negotiated peace was possible. important than unquestioned support of decisions made by the government of Israel: Preserving an undivided Jerusalem is a paramount issue not only for Israelis, but for the worldwide Jewish Community. This is not a decision any Israeli government can make unilaterally. Jerusalem belongs to all Jews, even those not living in Israel, and their opinion matters.

But this initiative is meeting some resistance.

First, Rabbi Kanesfsky, an Orthodox rabbi in California, publicly asked that Jerusalem be negotiable in order not to tie the hands of the government in Israel. I argued (in We Must Be Honest and Realistic) that the rabbi was wrong in his facts, wrong in his law and wrong in his belief that a negotiated peace was possible. In response to my statement, Regardless of what the governments of Israel and the US tell you, a two-state solution is a prescription for war, not peace, and it will never be viable, one leader wrote, highlighting another fault line: The mission of this coalition is about Jerusalem only. We at the RCA joined with that understanding.

Jeff Ballabon summarized the dispute: As a coordinating council, the relevant question is whether groups want to adopt a no 2-state bottom line or a 'no negotiations on Jerusalem' bottom line.My answer is very simple. If one really wants to keep Jerusalem undivided, and not just mouth platitudes, then one must fight the entire peace process. If Israel cedes Judea and Samaria to the Arabs or recognizes Palestine as the Palestinian national home, it will be impossible to protect Jerusalem from being divided. Our defensive line must be the Jordan River and not the boundaries of Jerusalem. In Painful Concessions, I warned, The peace process is like an enormous ship traveling with great momentum to a predetermined destination. Nothing Israel can do will stop it or alter its course. While Israel continues to debate the details, the ship continues, inexorably. The peace process is a threat not only to Jerusalem, but also to Israel itself. The peace process is a threat not only to Jerusalem, but also to Israel itself. The peace-mongers, including Rabbi Kanefsky, are so blinded by wishful thinking that they can't see the facts. They ignore everything the Arabs say and do in pursuit of their blind ambition. Benjamin Franklin once wrote, One of the great tragedies of life is the murder of a beautiful theory by a gang of brutal facts. The die-hards among them are unable to accept that Islamic peace and Israel are mutually exclusive; or that disengagement and withdrawal, unilateral or otherwise, will decrease our security rather than increase it; or that withdrawal will bring us war, not peace. When are these liberals going to be mugged by reality? To save Jerusalem we must kill the peace process.2 Kislev 5768 /

Alternative Jewish Sovereignty Summit Planned NOV 13,07
by Hillel Fendel(IsraelNN.com)

Our political leadership has abandoned the goal of furthering the Jewish people in the Jewish state, and is working for the goal of building a Palestinian state.A dozen Jewish organizations have united to hold a summit calling for Jewish sovereignty over all of the Land of Israel, meeting on the same day as the Annapolis summit. The title: Sovereignty for the Jewish Nation Over the State of the Land of Israel.Spokesperson Susie Dym explained, What is happening in Israel, and consequently among passive Jewish leaders elsewhere, is that our political leadership has abandoned the goal of furthering the Jewish people in the Jewish state, and has gone towards the goal of building a Palestinian state and advancing the Palestinians' interests. The situation has become absurd, in that our government is working towards the antithesis of what it should be.

Recognizing that the Jewish Nation does not have a representative body, the formative statement begins, and greatly fearing that the government in Israel is undermining the fundamental interests of Jewish existence (based on its declarations and actions in anticipation of the Annapolis summit), we - many right-wing movements and organizations - have united together to convene a counter-summit. Our goal is to emphasize what we stand 'for,' not against. Our door is open to all those who want to further the interests of the Jewish people, Dym said. The founding session of the New Jewish Congress will be held on the 17th day of Kislev, Nov. 27, in Jerusalem - the day on or after the scheduled Annapolis summit. The date for the Annapolis meeting has not yet been finally set. The idea of the alternative summit, the organizers say, is to establish the first-stage organizational and conceptual skeleton that will promote a congress to represent the entire nation, including hareidim, during the course of Nissan (April 2008).Among the initiating organizations are: Manhigut Yehudit (Jewish Leadership), Land of Israel Task Force, Cities of Israel, the Temple Institute, and the Sanhedrin. Also participating are Mateh Tzafon, Task Force to Save the Land of Israel, Women in Green, Nahalal Forum, and Honenu.

Rabbis who have lent their support include Kiryat Arba/Hevron Chief Rabbi Dov Lior, Sanhedrin President Rabbi Adin Steinzaltz, Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe of Chabad, Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, Rabbi Yisrael Ariel and more.Participating public figures include Yoram Ettinger, Prof. Paul Eidelberg, Dr. Yossi Ben-Aharon, Prof. Gabi Barkai, Prof. Hillel Weiss, Atty. Aviad Visuly, Prof. Aryeh Zaritsky, Architect Gideon Charlop, Nadia Matar, Shmuel Medad, Dr. Uri Milstein, Aryeh Stav, Moshe Feiglin, Ronen Tzafrir, and many more. Multi-million EU push to police the West Bank by Jennie Matthew Mon Nov 12, 3:16 AM ET

BETHLEHEM, West Bank (AFP) - Behind the wheel of his four-by-four in Bethlehem, retired Scotland Yard counter-terrorism expert Colin Smith twiddles his thumbs as he and five European advisers sit and wait. The Palestinian police forgot they were coming. Smith's mission is to advise, train and equip local police so they can impose order on West Bank chaos, laying the groundwork for a Palestinian state that Israel says is conditional on security. This is a good example of why the Palestinian police need our advice, jokes Jose Vericat, press officer for the multi-million-dollar mission codenamed EUPOL COPPS.They need equipment and resources. We're trying to work from bottom up and from top down. But we want to actually do something, not just create plans, says Smith, optimistic that in 18 months there will be a marked improvement.

The 19,000 Palestinian Authority policemen are motivated, skilled and capable. But they are also frustrated, disappointed and sometimes confused, he says.Fifty million euros (73 million dollars) would be a good start for training courses, vehicles and computers, Smith adds. But to create detention centres, prisons and infrastructure such as forensic labs would skyrocket the cost to 650 million euros. European countries have committed just 10 million euros so far.Iraq, where he was Britain's chief adviser on rebuilding the police after the 2003 US-led invasion, was a disaster. But Smith believes the Palestinians have a real chance if there is political stability. An audit in July revealed a staggering lack of equipment. Less than half of 70 West Bank police stations have patrol cars. There were only 40 pairs of handcuffs and 130 computers -- 110 of them more than two years out of date. There is no IT system. Stations need to be rebuilt. There are not enough holding cells. The police headquarters in Jenin, a governorate of 269,300 residents, has one incoming phone and fax line.

The second Palestinian uprising, after the last US-sponsored Middle East peace talks broke down in 2000, had a devastating effect. Israeli raids destroyed police stations and investment and resources dwindled. The 2006 landslide election win by the radical Islamist movement Hamas, which the West considers a terrorist organisation, put EU reform projects on ice.Only since President Mahmud Abbas broke with Hamas and set up a government headed by former World Bank employee Salam Fayyad in the West Bank in June has the EU mission got off the ground. The 7,000 police in the territory are now subject to a multi-million euro programme manned by 25 international police officers and a local staff of five geared towards radically improving law and order. In the Gaza Strip, however, 12,000 officers are paid to sit at home, their police stations and equipment impounded by the Hamas regime.

We're here now to embed with the Palestinian police. This is to develop a Palestinian police force, not Scotland Yard, says Smith, who spent 15 years in Northern Ireland in police intelligence and counter-terrorism.His energetic chief of staff, Tony Shaw, also ex-Scotland Yard, has enjoyed a second career using his expertise on overseas missions in troublespots such as Sudan and the Balkans.
In Darfur I lived in a tent for 12 months so it's a distinct improvement on my last mission, Shaw says. We came to an agreement in Darfur with my colleagues that it was better than pushing a trolley round Tesco's (the British supermarket chain).Brigadier General Dahoud Abu Ghaith commands 550 policemen in Bethlehem and oversees four operational police stations on a monthly budget of 12,000 shekels (3,060 dollars) -- barely enough to make ends meet.

Bethlehem is a relatively quiet Palestinian town but is the Biblical birthplace of Christ, lending it an international exposure out of proportion to its size. Israel's controversial separation barrier has sealed it off from the Jewish state. Crime in Bethlehem is mainly clan fighting, theft and drugs trafficking from Israel. Unemployment and isolation breed both crime and discontent. Abu Ghaith looks pensive as he listens to Smith say that two Czech and Finnish officers will be sent to Bethlehem as part of plans to create a good department that would stand up anywhere in the world. The most important things we need are cars and computers. What we have is not up to date and I bought my own laptop from my own salary, says Abu Ghaith. He blames Israel for the shortcomings, a point underlined by the roar of F-16 warplanes overhead as he and Smith sip their Arabic coffee. Israeli raids cause problems for our work day and night. How can we provide security if we don't control all the land? asks Abu Ghaith. Israel fears the police have been infiltrated by militants who must be expunged if the Palestinian Authority is serious about imposing security in exchange for Israel withdrawing from West Bank towns.

Smith recognises there is some militia and elements opposed to order, but hopes most will be weeded out in time. Arming the police, a sensitive subject in Israel, is not part of the EU mandate. Criminals play cat and mouse with police all over the West Bank, smuggling goods and slipping deftly between Israel and areas of Palestinian and mixed autonomy. EUPOL COPPS have their own issues with Israel. They want official accreditation rather than being signed up through their respective consulates. They also need properly armoured vehicles. Technical discussions continue on the EUPOL COPPS mandate, but for now Smith is looking to next month's Palestinian donor conference in Paris as a source of the funding he so desperately needs.

Spanish king tells Chávez to shut up
Financial Times Nov. 12, 2007

King Juan Carlos of Spain lost his royal cool at the weekend when he snapped at Hugo Chávez, Venezuela's outspoken president, telling him to shut up.Mr Chávez, whose long and incendiary speeches are notorious, repeatedly called José María Aznar, the former Spanish prime minister, a fascist during the 17th Ibero-American summit in Santiago, Chile.Fascists are not human. A snake is more human, said the Venezuelan president, who describes himself as a Bolivárian socialist.José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Spain's prime minister, hit back, saying: Ex-president Aznar was elected by the Spanish people and I demand respect. You can disagree radically with the ideas of others, denounce their ideas and their behaviour without being disrespectful. His reply won applause. However, Mr Chávez's repeated attempts to interrupt Mr Zapatero's calm admonition provoked a hot-headed outburst from the Spanish king.

Why don't you just shut up? he said, angrily jabbing his finger at Mr Chávez. He later stormed out of the summit meeting during a speech by Daniel Ortega, president of Nicaragua, who supported Mr Chávez's comments, as did the vice-president of Cuba, Carlos Lage.
With the truth, I do not offend, I do not fear, Mr Chávez responded to Mr Zapatero. The Venezuelan government reserves the right to respond to any aggression, anywhere, in any space and in any manner, he added, later observing that he too was democratically elected and deserved respect. It is not the first time that Mr Chávez's inflammatory remarks have stirred anger. He last year described George W. Bush, US president, as the devil at the United Nations general assembly.El País, the Spanish newspaper, wrote that Mr Chávez's tirade had surpassed all tolerable limits in a relationship between two countries. But Miguel Ángel Moratinos, Spain's foreign minister, said the incident would have no effect on bilateral relations. The acrimonious clash overshadowed the summit, which was attended by the heads of state and government of Spain, Portugal, Andorra and the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries in Latin America.

Russian oil tanker breaks up off Crimea By Dmitry Solovyov
Sun Nov 11, 10:35 AM ET

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A severe storm broke a small Russian oil tanker in two off the Ukrainian port of Kerch on Sunday, spilling up to 2,000 tonnes of fuel oil in what a Russian official said was an environmental disaster. The same storm in the Black Sea and Azov Sea also sank four freighters, three carrying sulphur and one with a cargo of scrap metal. The heavy seas also cracked the hull of another oil tanker, but the ship was afloat and not leaking. The sunken tanker, Volganeft-139, had traveled from the Russian port of Azov and was anchored outside Kerch in Ukraine's eastern Crimea to ride out the weather, when high waves broke its back at around 8:45 p.m. EST on Sunday, media reported. The 1978-built tanker, designed primarily for inland and coastal service, was carrying 4,000 tonnes of fuel oil in total when it was hit by the storm, which has knocked out electricity supplies to much of Crimea.

This problem may take a few years to solve. Fuel oil is a heavy substance and it is now sinking to the seabed, Oleg Mitvol, deputy head of Russia's environment agency Rosprirodnadzor told state-run Vesti-24 television channel. This is a very serious environmental disaster.Environment agency Rosprirodnadzor said some 2,000 tonnes of fuel oil had spilt, but Emergencies Ministry spokesman Viktor Beltsov told Reuters not more than 1,200 tonnes had leaked. The tanker's 13 crew members drifted for hours in waves up to 6 meters high aboard the ship's stern before beaching safely a few miles from the bow section, the emergencies ministry said. The crew were safe, it added. The likely effects of the spill were not immediately clear. A spill over 700 tonnes is considered large, but the biggest ones run into the tens or even hundreds of thousands. The polluted area is at the heart of the migration route from central Siberia into the Black Sea of red-throated and black-throated Siberian divers. The peak of the migration season is right now, Kees Camphuysen, a marine ornithologist at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, told Reuters by telephone.

The quantity (of oil spilt) doesn't matter. One tonne in the wrong place will do a lot of damage while a 100,000 tonnes will do no damage in the centre of the ocean, he said. The area is also home to porpoises.

STORM TOLL

Almost at the same time as the Volganeft-139 broke up, a freighter carrying 2,000 tonnes of sulphur sank off the port of Kavkaz in the Kerch Strait. Its crew of nine was rescued. We hope that in the water sulphur will not form any substances dangerous to humans, Mitvol said.Several hours later, another freighter carrying sulphur sank off Kavkaz, Interfax news agency quoted the port administration as saying, adding three of its crew had been rescued by a Ukrainian ship. The fate of the other eight sailors was unclear. The same storm, which is expected to rage for up to 3 days, also sank a freighter with scrap metal off Sevastopol in southern Crimea. Two of its crew were rescued, but the fate of the other 15 was unknown, Ukraine's emergencies ministry said. The hull of the oil tanker, Volganeft-123, cracked after being hit by high waves, but Maxim Stepanenko, Novorossiisk transport prosecutor, told Russian television this tanker was afloat and its oil products were not leaking. Feds launch criminal probe into San Francisco oil spillStory Searchers to look for sickened birds Monday, after some 200 birds found dead NOV 12,07

More than 12,000 of 58,000 gallons spilled has been recovered so far - NTSB is reviewing the ship's voyage data recorder. Some lawmakers criticize the Coast Guard's initial handling of spill

SAN FRANCISCO, California (CNN) -- Federal investigators have launched a criminal probe into a cargo ship collision and oil spill, the Coast Guard said, which killed hundreds of birds in San Francisco Bay.The oil spilled from a South Korea-bound container ship in dense fog Wednesday. The container ship MV Cosco Busan hit the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Wednesday and is being held in Oakland for repairs, said Adm. Thad Allen, the commandant of the Coast Guard on Sunday night.Twenty wildlife teams are expected to search the bay Monday for birds sickened by the an estimated 58,000 gallons of heavy-duty bunker oil that oozed into the water after the collision, said a Department of Fish and Games official.

The Cosco Busan was departing Oakland for South Korea in dense fog when it hit a tower supporting the western suspension span of the Bay Bridge, the Coast Guard said. After the accident, the ship moored near Treasure Island, which the bridge crosses. The spilled oil formed globules along the San Francisco city waterfront and out of San Francisco Bay, beneath the Golden Gate Bridge toward Marin County.Seven miles of containment equipment stretched across the bay has collected 12,271 gallons of oil so far, while another 4,000 gallons has evaporated, officials said. The 902-foot container ship has a 212-foot-long, 12-foot-wide gash in its side that allowed the oil to leak from partially filled fuel tanks, according to National Transportation Safety Board spokeswoman Debbie Hersman. The NTSB is reviewing the ship's voyage data recorder, which should have recorded captain and crew conversations on the bridge and other information in the 12 hours leading up to the bridge collision, Hersman said.Nearly 200 dead birds have been recovered from the bay, while another 465 birds have been rescued alive but oiled, according to Lisa Curtis, administrator of Department of Fish and Games office of spill prevention and response. he crew was new to the ship, which was built six years ago in South Korea but purchased just last month by the current owner, Hersman said. They were on their first voyage in the vessel, she said. The U.S. attorney in San Francisco opened a criminal investigation over the weekend to see if federal maritime laws may have been violated by the captain and crew, Allen said. The captain and crew have not been detained and there have been no limits placed on them, Allen said. The vessel is detained in port under a captain of the port order because it is unsafe to sail, Allen said. There are no restrictions placed on the crew.

Several beaches and shorelines were closed to the public and fishing was banned in certain locations on Port of San Francisco property. This an incident which, in my view, should not have happened, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, said Sunday after being briefed by Coast Guard officials.Rear Adm. Craig E. Bone, the Coast Guard's director of inspection and compliance, echoed Feinstein's comments. There's systems, there's capabilities, there's licensed operators, there's a pilot on board the vessel, there's the capacity and the capability to safely navigate through this port and waterways every day, he said.He added, But we have to move beyond the incident and the fact that it occurred and move forward into the response. On Friday, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency, freeing money to clean up the spill.

Some lawmakers -- including the state's other U.S. senator, Democrat Barbara Boxer, and Maine Republican Sen. Olympia Snowe -- initially criticized the Coast Guard's handling of the collision and resulting spill.I am deeply concerned about the recent news reports that the Coast Guard had underestimated the severity of the spill and after learning of the spill's true size failed to report that information for more than four hours, Snowe said in a statement Saturday. Snowe is the ranking member of the Senate's Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries and the Coast Guard.
I am very troubled by the Coast Guard's delay in delivering accurate information to the public and to the city of San Francisco, Boxer wrote Thursday in a letter to Allen. The Coast Guard initially reported that the ship's owner had said only 140 gallons had spilled from the Cosco Busan, Boxer said.Feinstein touched on the criticism Sunday. There's room for improvement, obviously, in how the accident and spill were handled, she said. But she acknowledged that fog had hindered initial aerial reviews of the accident site.On Saturday, the National Transportation Safety Board announced it was sending a team to San Francisco to investigate the accident. If there are people responsible or accountable for the causal factors of this, they'll be held accountable, Bone said. The California Department of Transportation said the collision did no structural damage to the bridge and there was no interruption of bridge traffic -- more than 250,000 vehicles daily.

Present-day wall of Jerusalem

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may want to see Israel wiped off the map and its Jews sent to Europe or Alaska, but an archaeological discovery announced this week marks an event recorded in the Bible when his country – Persia, at the time – literally helped put the Jewish people back on the map in their capital city of Jerusalem. Dr. Eilat Mazar, one of Israel's top archaeologists, ended her presentation Wednesday to the 13th Annual Conference of the Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem Studies on New Studies on Jerusalem, with a surprise announcement. She had discovered remnants of the fifth century B.C. wall built by Nehemiah, the account recorded in the Old Testament book of the same name. According to the biblical account, Nehemiah served as cupbearer for the Persian King Artaxerxes in the city of Susa. The Persians had conquered the Babylonian empire that had destroyed Jerusalem in 586 B.C. and taken most of the inhabitants of Judah into captivity in what is now modern Iraq.

The account reads:

In the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was before him, I took up the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had not been sad in his presence. And the king said to me, Why is your face sad, seeing you are not sick? This is nothing but sadness of the heart. Then I was very much afraid. I said to the king, Let the king live forever! Why should not my face be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' graves, lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire? Then the king said to me, What are you requesting? So I prayed to the God of heaven. And I said to the king, If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers' graves, that I may rebuild it.
Nehemiah's rebuilding of the city began with its walls, a project that was resisted by hostile neighbors who had occupied the area around Jerusalem in the Jews' absence. But when Sanballat and Tobiah and the Arabs and the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem was going forward and that the breaches were beginning to be closed, they were very angry. And they all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause confusion in it. And we prayed to our God and set a guard as a protection against them day and night. With tools in one hand and weapons in the other, Nehemiah's workmen toiled dawn to dusk, completing the wall in a record 52 days.

Archaeological evidence for Nehemiah's project has been lacking. Jerusalem has been rebuilt, destroyed and rebuilt in the almost 2,500 years since. Mazar, who is perhaps best known for her recent excavation that many believe has revealed the palace of King David, was working on an emergency project to shore up remains of a tower long believed to date from the Hasmonean period, 142-37 B.C., that was in danger of collapsing. According to an account of the conference in The Trumpet, Mazar said, Under the tower, we found the bones of two large dogs – and under those bones a rich assemblage of pottery and finds from the Persian period. No later finds from that period were found under the tower.Had the tower been built during the Hasmonean dynasty, the Persian-era artifacts would represent an unexplained chronological gap of several hundred years. The tower, said Mazar, had to have been built much earlier than previously thought and the pottery data placed it at the time the Bible says Nehemiah was building it. Todd Bolen, of BiblePlaces.com, noted that excavations in the Philistine city of Ashkelon during the same Persian era, found 800 dog burials like those uncovered by Mazar. Nehemiah described 10 gates in the wall around Jerusalem as well as several towers designed to protect the entrances to the city, among them the Tower of the Hundred, the Tower of Hananel, the Tower of the Ovens, and an unnamed tower projecting from the upper house of the king at the court of the guard in the vicinity of Mazar's most recent dig. WND reported Mazar's confirmation that what appeared to be chopped-up carved stone, unearthed by recent trenching on the Temple Mount by the holy site's Islamic custodians, were indeed antiquities with attributes of the Second Temple-era during the ministry of Jesus.

Mazar has urged Christians to help save the holy site.

The Christian world and all those who care about safeguarding the Temple Mount must immediately join us in our efforts to protect the holy site and demand that the Israeli government stop the Waqf construction, she said. The Temple Mount is important to people of all religions. Now is the time to act before more antiquities are erased.

SKEPTIC ARCHAEOLOGISTS SAY WE WILL BELIEVE THE BIBLE IF 2 THINGS HAPPEN. IF WE FIND NOAHS ARK, THEY DID GENESIS CHAPTER 7. THE CIA HAS FOUND NOAHS ARK WITH INFRERED CAMERAS, BUT WON'T TELL ABOUT IT. AND THE SECOND THING TO HAPPEN IS IF THEY WOULD FIND NEHEMIAHS WALL. THE BEGINNING OF DANIEL 9:24'S FULFILLMENT

HERE ARE THE SCRIPTURES FOR THIS STORY.
NOTICE DANIELS TIMELINE OF HISTORY IS INVOLVED HERE.

DANIEL 9:24-27
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

DANIEL 9:24 (GOD DEALS WITH ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM)
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

THE SEVENTY WEEKS OR SHABBOS ARE 70 WEEKS TIMES 7 YEARS. 70X7=490 YEARS. SO GOD WILL DEAL WITH ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM FOR 490 YEARS THEN THE MESSIAH WILL RULE FROM ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM FOREVER AFTER THAT.

DANIEL 9:25 (NEHEMIAHS WALL START OF DANIELS PROPHECY)
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

HERES WERE NEHEMIAHS WALL COMES IN. THIS WALL WAS BUILT IN 52 DAYS AND JERUSALEM WAS REBUILT IN 49 YEARS. 7 WEEKS OR SHABBOS IS 7X7=49 YEARS. THEN WE ADD ON ANOTHER 62 WEEKS OR SHABBOS TILL THE MESSIAH GETS CUT OFF. 7X7=49 years and 62X7=434 years. 434+49=483 YEARS.

DANIEL 9:26 (MESSIAH JESUS CUT OFF)
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

AFTER THE CALL TO REBUILD JERUSALEM 7x7=49 YEARS + 62X7=434 YEARS WHEN JESUS WAS CUT OFF.

OK SO AFTER 69 WEEKS OR SHABBOS 69X7=483 YEARS WAS JESUS CUT OFF. DID THIS HAPPEN TO THE EXACT DAY..YES IT DID. FROM THE CALL TO REBUILD JERUSALEM AND THE WALL AROUND IT WAS MARCH 14,445 B.C. ADD TO THAT 483 YEARS X 360 DAYS IN THE JEWISH CALENDAR IN THE BIBLE AND THAT COMES OUT TO BE 173,880 DAYS. SO FROM MARCH 14, 445 B.C TO THE EXACT DAY JESUS ENTERED JERUSALEM (APRIL 6, 32 A.D)WAS 173,880 DAYS THE EXACT AMOUNT THAT DANIEL WAS LEAD BY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD TO PREDICT.

SO IF THIS PROPHECY CAME TO PASS LITERALLY AND EXACTLY AS DANIEL WROTE IT DOWN, WE KNOW FOR SURE THE LAST 7 YEAR PERIOD WILL COME TO PASS AS WELL IN THE FUTURE.

SO THE 483 OF THE 490 YEARS ARE FULFILLED AND DANIEL 9:26 SAYS OF THIS FINAL 7 YEAR PERIOD. THE PEOPLE OF THE PRINCE SHALL DESTROY THE CITY AND THE SANCTUARY. WELL ANOTHER OF THIS PROPHECY WAS FULFILLED: IN A.D 70 THE ROMAN LEADERS DESTROYED THE CITY AND THE SANCTUARY. THEN IT GOES ON TO SAY IN DANIEL 9:27

DANIEL 9:27 (THE FINAL 7 YEAR PERIOD TO RING IN MESSIAH)
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

AND WHO IS HE IN 9:27, HE IS THE FUTURE ROMAN (EU) LEADER TO MAKE THE FINAL 7 YEAR TREATY (COVENANT) WITH MANY AND ISRAEL FOR THE FINAL WEEK OR 1X7 SHABBOS = 7 YEARS. THIS WILL END DANIELS 70 WEEKS OR 490 YEARS THAT GOD HAS DEALT WITH ISRAEL AND JERUSALEM, TO USHER IN THE RULE OF THE MESSIAH TO RULE FOREVER FROM JERUSALEM (NO END)FOREVER MEANS FOREVER.

WE ALSO SEE THAT THE 3RD TEMPLE HAS TO BE REBUILT IN JERUSALEM BEFORE THIS LAST 7 YEAR COVENANT IS MADE, WHY? BECAUSE AT THE MIDPOINT OF THE 7 YEAR COVENANT THE SACRIFICES ARE CUT OFF. FOR THE FIRST THREE AND ONE HALF YEARS THIS ROMAN (EU) LEADER HAS LET ISRAEL SACRIFICE ANIMALS LIKE IN BIBLE TIMES. HE THEN CUTS IT OFF AND HE HIMSELF SITS IN THE 3RD TEMPLE PROCLAIMING HIMSELF GOD.

NOW HERE IS THE STORY OF THIS MOST IMPORTANT PROPHECY THAT HAD TO START THE 490 YEAR COUNTDOWN TO THE MESSIAHS RULE.

Nehemiah 2:1-20 King James Bible
1 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.
2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?
4 Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.
5 And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it.
6 And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.
7 Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;
8 And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.
10 When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.
11 So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days.
12 And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.
13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
14 Then I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king's pool: but there was no place for the beast that was under me to pass.
15 Then went I up in the night by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back, and entered by the gate of the valley, and so returned.
16 And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.
17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
19 But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
20 Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.

Nehemiah 3:1-32 King James Bible
1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
2 And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
4 And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
5 And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their LORD.
6 Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
7 And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.
8 Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
9 And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.
10 And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.
11 Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.
12 And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
14 But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15 But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16 After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.
17 After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
18 After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.
19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.
20 After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.
23 After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.
24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.
25 Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.
26 Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.
27 After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.
29 After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.
32 And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.

Nehemiah 4:1-23 King James Bible
1 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall.
4 Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:
5 And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.
6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
7 But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,
8 And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.
9 Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
10 And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall.
11 And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.
12 And it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt by them came, they said unto us ten times, From all places whence ye shall return unto us they will be upon you.
13 Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the LORD, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
15 And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
16 And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
17 They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.
19 And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another.
20 In what place therefore ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us.
21 So we laboured in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared.
22 Likewise at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour on the day.
23 So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off for washing.

Nehemiah 5:1-19 King James Bible
1 And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews.
2 For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live.
3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.
4 There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards.
5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards.
6 And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words.
7 Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.
8 And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer.
9 Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
10 I likewise, and my brethren, and my servants, might exact of them money and corn: I pray you, let us leave off this usury.
11 Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them.
12 Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.
13 Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.
15 But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
16 Yea, also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any land: and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work.
17 Moreover there were at my table an hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, beside those that came unto us from among the heathen that are about us.
18 Now that which was prepared for me daily was one ox and six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this required not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage was heavy upon this people.
19 Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people.

Nehemiah 6:1-19 King James Bible
1 Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)
2 That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
4 Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.
5 Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;
6 Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
7 And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
8 Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
9 For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
10 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
12 And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
14 My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.
15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.
16 And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.
17 Moreover in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters unto Tobiah, and the letters of Tobiah came unto them.
18 For there were many in Judah sworn unto him, because he was the son in law of Shechaniah the son of Arah; and his son Johanan had taken the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah.
19 Also they reported his good deeds before me, and uttered my words to him. And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.

Nehemiah 12:1-47 King James Bible
1 Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,

22 The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25 Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.
26 These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27 And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28 And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;
29 Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.
30 And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
32 And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
36 And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.
37 And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
38 And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
39 And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
40 So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:
41 And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43 Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44 And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.
45 And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46 For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47 And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.

BLAIR HINTS AT 1ST PRESIDENT OF EU

All options on the table in facing Iran: Israel's Deputy PM Sat Nov 10, 6:09 AM ET

JERUSALEM (AFP) - An Israeli deputy prime minister said on Saturday after a US visit that all options are on the table to halt Iran's nuclear drive , which Israel considers a threat to its existence. The strategy for now is one of sanctions, of a united front of nations in that context, and the strategy of declaring without any doubt that all options are on the table, Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz told public radio.Israel and the United States accuse Iran of pursuing atomic weapons under the guise of a peaceful nuclear energy programme, charges Tehran has repeatedly denied.I think like others that the option of using military force is the last resort, Mofaz said. But it's clear that the opportunity for a negotiated solution is diminishing if by the diplomatic path we should not succeed to stop the advancement of the Iranian nuclear programme, he added.Israel and the United States agreed to appoint two working committees to hone a joint strategy against Iran's nuclear ambitions, public radio reported on Friday, following the talks which Mofaz held in Washington this week.
Israel -- the region's sole if undeclared nuclear power -- has been pressing the UN Security Council for tougher sanctions ahead of a new and widely anticipated report by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

GLOBAL INSECURITY
Gunmen storm high-security nuclear facility
Worker shot as 4 armed men gain access to sealed control room
November 9, 2007 - 9:50 p.m. Eastern

Pelindaba Nuclear Research Center

An early morning attack by four gunmen who stormed and reached the emergency-response control room of a secured nuclear facility in South Africa has left one of the plant's operational officers hospitalized and officials with the country's nuclear agency threatening a newspaper with charges of violating national security laws for publishing an account of the intrusion. The attack at the Pelindaba nuclear facility took place early Thursday morning, reported the Pretoria News. According to Anton Gerber, an emergency services operational officer working for the Nuclear Energy Corporation of South Africa, he was in the control room with his fiancée Ria Meiring, who is also the control room supervisor, when he heard a loud bang and saw the men coming into the facility's eastern block. Gerber pushed Meiring beneath a desk for safety and attempted to stop the intruders from entering the electronically sealed control room. Two forced their way through the door and ran straight for the control panel. I did not know what they were going to do. I just kept on hitting them even when one of them attacked me with a screwdriver, Gerber said from his hospital bed. I knew that if I stopped they would attack Ria or do something to the panel. I could not let anything like that happen.

Investigators at the Pelindaba plant believe the attackers gained access to the building by using a ladder belonging to the facility's fire department to scale a wall, then forced open a window by pulling out several louvers. The facility is meant to be safe. There are security guards, electric fences and security control points. These things are not meant to happen, Gerber said.
During the struggle, Gerber was shot in the chest by one of the attackers, the bullet narrowly missing his heart and spine but hitting his lung and breaking a rib. A NESCA spokeswoman confirmed the attack but would not say how the intruders gained entry to one of the country's most secure sites or whether anything was taken in the attack. NESCA, she said, was conducting its own internal investigation and would publicize its findings after police finished their work. Prior to publication, Pretoria News was contacted by a man identifying himself as a legal adviser to NESCA who warned the paper would be violating South Africa's National Keypoints Act and said the agency might obtain a court order to prevent publication. A police spokesman told Pretoria News there had been no arrests in the attack. Reports make no mention of terrorism as a possible motive. A case of armed robbery and attempted murder are being investigated, the spokesman said. The attack came a day after authorities arrested two men in connection with the murder of the general manager of NESCA during a carjacking earlier this year.

Abbas vows to continue path for statehood By Wafa Amr
NOV 10,07

RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday inaugurated a mausoleum built over Yasser Arafat's grave and vowed to continue on his iconic predecessor's path in seeking statehood. Abbas said he hoped Arafat's wish to be buried in Jerusalem could still be fulfilled, along with Palestinians' dream of making the disputed city the capital of their future state. We will continue on the path to set up the independent Palestinian state with (Jerusalem) as its capital, God willing, Abbas said at an unveiling ceremony in the occupied West Bank.Arafat, founder of the secular Fatah movement in the 1960s, spearheaded the Arab fight against Israel before signing an interim peace deal in 1993. That agreement broke down in botched talks over a final accord, leading to a 2000 Palestinian revolt.

The Palestinian Authority under Abbas, having broken with Hamas Islamists who seized control of the Gaza Strip in June, has sought rapprochement with Israel. Abbas expects to discuss Palestinian statehood at an upcoming U.S.-hosted conference.Ahead of the talks in Annapolis, Maryland, Palestinian forces have deployed in Nablus, a tinderbox West Bank city seen as the proving ground for a vow by Abbas to curb militants. On Saturday, police reported a significant arms haul in Nablus. The police and other security forces have seized dozens of suspicious objects and home-made explosive devices ... we found more than 100 devices and suspect objects hidden in various places and we have detonated many of them, Ahmad Sharqawi, the chief of Palestinian police in Nablus, told Reuters.Israel, which is trying to bolster Abbas against Hamas rivals who seized the Gaza Strip in June, approved the Nablus deployment. If it is successful, Palestinian forces could assume control in other West Bank towns, Israeli officials say.

PINING FOR ARAFAT

Though Arafat failed to deliver them a state in territory occupied by Israel in a 1967 Middle East war, many Palestinians miss the charisma, cunning and street clout with which he cobbled together a national consensus among rival factions.Arafat died in a French hospital on November 11, 2004 after being shunned by Israel and the United States as an obstacle to peace. Abbas enjoys broad foreign support yet his domestic mandate is in doubt given the rift with Hamas and Israel's West Bank grip.Yasser Arafat has departed, but he left you, President Abbas, with a heavy burden and a difficult legacy, Mohammed Ishtayeh, a former Palestinian cabinet minister who supervised the construction of the mausoleum, told Abbas in a speech. The new structure, built of marble and Jerusalem stone adorned with Koranic verses, features a mosque and a minaret as well as an ornamental pool. The Palestinians also plan to open an Arafat memorial museum in the nearby government headquarters.Israel seized control of West Bank cities, handed to the Palestinian Authority under the 1993 interim Oslo peace deal, after the outbreak of the uprising and had barred Palestinian security forces from operating in them until recently.Israel also launches frequent raids against Palestinian militants in Nablus and controls entry to the city through checkpoints, which it says are needed to stop suicide bombers. In the Gaza Strip, Palestinian ambulance workers said they recovered the bodies of two teenagers who were shot dead on Friday by Israeli troops close to the border fence in the northern part of the territory. An Israeli army spokesman said the two men had been spotted crawling towards the fence and were shot by troops.(Additional reporting by Atef Saad in Nablus and Haitham Tamimi in Hebron; Writing by Ori Lewis; Editing by Giles Elgood)

Palestinian Authority accepts US mechanism to implement road map Posted : Sat, 10 Nov 2007 08:50:03 GMT DPA

Ramallah - The Palestinian Authority (PA) has accepted a US mechanism to implement the road map peace plan and the first phase is supposed to start immediately, chief negotiator Ahmed Qurei said on Saturday. The so-called Mideast Quartet - the US, the EU, the UN and Russia - was supposed to follow up the applying of the plan since it was finalized in 2003 but Israel refused to stick to its obligations. We have accepted the American offer which stipulates that the US administration be the judge, Qurei told Ramallah-based al-Ayyam daily. It would be the first time the US has taken this role. According to Qurei, a three-way Palestinian, Israeli and US committee is being formed to be responsible for supporting the plan's implementation. In exchange for statehood, the road map plan requires the PA to make constitutional reforms and abandon violence. Israel is also required to stop settlement activities in the West Bank. Reports say that acting Palestinian Premier Salam Fayyad, who was appointed after the Islamic Hamas movement took over the Gaza Strip in June, would represent the PA at the trilateral committee while Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak would represent Israel.

US President George W Bush has called for an international peace conference as part of efforts to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. It is expected late this month in Annapolis, Maryland. Qurei described the current talks with Israel as serious but hard, focusing on all issues, mainly a timetabled mechanism for the negotiations that will follow the Annapolis meetings.

US, EU to reduce trade barriers
Associated Press Saturday, November 10, 2007 (Washington):

The United States and the European Union said on Friday that they had made progress in reducing regulatory barriers to trade.Among other issues, financial regulators on both sides of the Atlantic were nearing an agreement for mutual recognition of accounting standards. The move would remove requirements for companies operating in both markets to produce two sets of accounting records. The progress was made in talks of the Transatlantic Economic Council launched by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President George W. Bush in April. EU Industry Commissioner Guenter Verheugen and Allan Hubbard, chief of the White House National Economic Council, who chair the forum for the EU and US to discuss strategic economic issues, said they were optimistic it would help significantly boost trans-Atlantic trade over time.

But Hubbard said that the United States remained frustrated by a poultry matter. We were able to accomplish just about everything we set out to accomplish in this first six months except for one item which has to do with the ability of American producers of chickens to export those chickens to Europe, he said. It is an extraordinary frustration to America. On biofuels, the two sides were more successful, reaching a preliminary agreement on compatibility of regulatory standards.Business people told us today that they believe that non-tarriff barriers cost businesses on both sides of the Atlantic three per cent of (the economies), Verheugen said.Annual EU-US trade totals ($909.3 billion) and accounts for 40 per cent of world trade. Two-way investments provide 14 million jobs, according to EU data.

Blair hints at top EU job
5:00AM Sunday November 11, 2007

Tony Blair

Tony Blair has hinted he might become president of the European Union. Following a speech at the National University of Singapore, Blair sleekly sidestepped questions about his interest in the job. In relation to [the] question about the presidency of the European Union we will move swiftly on, he joked. It's a pity, but that's the way it is. A shortage of time, you know! He then spoke for five minutes about the Middle East peace process and the challenges of global leadership.French President Nicolas Sarkozy recently suggested the job of EU president - a key element of the planned constitution - would be a smart move for Blair.Diplomatic and political convention means that no one has formally declared themselves for the EU presidency, a job which looks set to be in place for June 2009.But jockeying for position has begun. Candidates include former Polish President, Aleksander Kwasniewski, Irish leader Bertie Ahern and Danish PM Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

Blair arrived in Singapore on Friday from China, where he was accused of gold digging and money sucking by local media after charging NZ$654,000 for a single speech. It is thought he might have earned as much as NZ$2.7 million from several speeches during his Asia tour. But Singapore University dean Professor Kishore Mahbubani said Blair was not paid for his campus speech. In a country where protesting is illegal and the ruling party holds 97 per cent of the seats in Parliament, several people were impressed by Blair's openness. He actually answers questions, said one.
